I AM CONCERN ABOUT SAFETY DEFECT THAT EXIST IN MY GMC ENVOY 2002. I OWN THIS VEHICLE SINCE MARCH 2002 (1 YEAR) AND IT STALLED 5 TIMES ALREADY WHEN DRIVING. IT HAPPEND 3 TIMES WHEN I STOPPED MY VIHICLE AT RED TRAFFIC LIGHT AND 2 TIMES WHEN BREAKING TO SLOW DOWN, DRIVING DOWNHILL BEFORE A CURVE. THIS 2 TIMES HAVE SCARED ME SO MUCH THAT I AM AFFRAID TO USE THIS CAR AGAIN. I DRIVE CARS FOR 28 YEARS AND NOTHING LIKE THAT HAS HAPPEND TO ME IN MY LIFE. ENGINE STOPS WORKING, ALL LIGHTS GO OUT AND THERE IS NO CONTROL OVER THE CAR WHATSOEVER. I AM HAPPY NO ONE GOT HURT IN THOSE INCIDENTS. THIS CAR HAS ONLY 16K MILES ON IT AND HAS BEEN IN SERVICE NUMEROUS TIMES ALREADY, INCLUDING POWER STEERING LEAK - 2 TIMES REPAIRED. I DO NOT THINK DRIVING THIS CAR IS SAFE AND FOR THAT REASON I CANNOT USE IT ANYMORE.
THE ANTI-FREEZE IS TURNING INTO A PUDDING SUBSTANCE. I DO NOT KNOW WHY IT DOES THIS, BUT ON ALL OF MY GM VEHICLES THIS HAPPENS. I HAVE THEM FLUSHED AND REFILLED BUT THE PROBLEM CONTINUES TO OCCUR.*JB
CONSUMER LOST CONTROL OF VEHICLE AND HIT A LEDGE, AND NONE OF THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. *JB THE DEALER STATED THAT IF THE VEHICLE HIT 6 INCHES TO THE RIGHT, THEN THE AIR BAGS WOULD HAVE DEPLOYED. *SCC
VEHICLE 2002 GMC ENVOY [XXX] OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRRORS ADJUST THEMSELVES TO ODD POSITIONS ALMOST DAILY OR EVERY TIME I DRIVE THIS VEHICLE. IT IS NECESSARY FOR ME TO STOP THE VEHICLE AND PLACE THE TRANSMISSION IN PARK AND THEN PUSH THE MEMORY BUTTON AS MANY AS 4 TIMES TO GET THE MIRRORS IN PROPER POSITION, OR ADJUST THE MIRROR WHILE DRIVING USING THE JOY STICK CONTROL. THE DEALER HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM EXCEPT ASKING ME TO RETURN THE VEHICLE FOR THE 3RD TIME. THE SIDE MIRRORS WORKED AT RANDOM, WHICH MADE IT DIFFICULT TO SEE WHILE DRIVING. *JB
COMPLAINT IS FOR 2002 GMC ENVOY. ON THREE OCCASIONS, THIS TRUCK STALLED OUT WHILE IN MOTION, THE LAST TIME AT 55 MPH ON AN INTERSTATE HIGHWAY. ON THREE OCCASIONS, THE TRANSMISSION IN THIS VEHICLE SWITCHED, OF ITS OWN ACCORD, FROM 2 WD TO 4 WD (LOW) NEARLY CASUSING ACCIDENTS ON TWO OCCASIONS. I LISTED THE MOST RECENT OCCURRENCES OF THESE PROBLEMS BELOW.
THE ENGINE FAILED IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY ROAD. THE LOW ENGINE POWER LIGHT CAME ON, FOLLOWED BY SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT AND THEN THE VEHICLE LOST ALL POWER. TOWED TO THE DEALER. PROBLEM WAS CYLINDER SLEEVE FLEW OUT AND DAMAGED THE ENGINE. REQUIRED A NEW ENGINE. VEHICLE HAD 15000 MILES ON. GM OFFERED TO DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO KEEP ME HAPPY AND LOYAL. I REQUEST FROM THEM TO CREDIT ALL THE PAYMENTS I MADE ON THIS VEHICLE TO THE PURCHASE OF 2003 ESCALADE . THEY COUNTER OFFERED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR 60,000 MILES. I SAID NO. I AM BUYING A LAND CRUISER THIS WEEKEND. NO MORE GM CARS. THE WORST. INCLUDING THE HIGH END CADILLAC . JUST REVIEW THE COMPLAINTS ON THIS SITE AND YOU WILL SEE FOR YOUR SELF.
TRANSMISSION DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY. HAVE HAD IT REPAIRED TWICE, BUT STILL VIBRATES, AND FAILS TO MOVE VEHICLE FORWARD AT TIMES, FROM A DEAD STOP. IS VERY DANGEROUS AT INTERSECTIONS WHERE MOVING QUICKLY IS IMPERATIVE. ALSO WIRING PROBLEMS WHICH OPERATE VARIOUS REMOTE INSTRUMENTS (MIRRORS, SEATS, ETC.) FEAR OF FIRE. REAR DOOR LATCH WAS REPLACED - CLICKS "LOCKED/UNLOCKED" WHILE DRIVING. SEATS MOVE ON THEIR OWN WHILE DRIVING. *NLM
2002 GMC ENVOY, IF YOU TURN THE HEATER CONTROLLERS FULL HOT YOU GET 200 DEGREE WATER RUNNING THROUGH THE DASH. INSTALL A CD AND THE HEAT FROM THE HOT WATER PLUS LASER IN CD CAUSE THE DISK TO CATCH FIRE. THIS PROBLEM WILL PROBABLY HAPPEN IN BRAVADA AND TRAIL BLAZER ALSO.
CONSUMER WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE ENGINE. ALSO, WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE HAS LOST COMPLETELY POWER AND HAD NO BRAKES OR STEERING POWER. DEALER WAS CONTACTED, AND HAD NO IDEA AS WHY THIS WAS HAPPENING.*AK
FEBRUARY 2003 ENGINE FAILED AT ONLY 8,000 MILES. DRIVING AT 45 MILES AN HOUR, WITHOUT WARNING ENGINE STOP AND CAR SHUT DOWN. DEALERSHIP HAD TO REPLACE ENGINE. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL PROBLEMS SINCE AND NOTHING CORRECTED. DASH BOARD LIGHTS/COMPUTER DOES NOT WORK AT TIMES. VERY LOUD WIND NOISE WHILE DRIVING. NOW LOUD NOISE COMING FROM ENGINE AND DEALERSHIP CANNOT FIX 100%. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER FELT THIS UNSAFE IN ANY VEHICLE. MANUFACTURER GAVE AND EXTENSION ON THE REPLACED ENGINE BUT THAT DOES NOT MAKE ME FEEL SAFER. I HAVE CONTACTED MANUFACTURER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. WHEN THEY DO NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT ALL THE PROBLEMS, YOU CANNOT COMPLAIN OR GO ANY FURTHER THAN CLERK WORKING ON YOUR CASE. EVEN IF YOU MAIL IN A COMPLAINT ABOUT THE CLERK, YOUR COMPLAINT WILL ONLY GO AS FAR AS THAT CLERK ASSIGNED TO YOUR CASE. *JB
I OWN A 2002 GMC ENVOY SLT. MY PROBLEM IS WITH THE REAR GLASS IN THE LIFTGATE. IN THE EIGHT MONTHS OR SO THAT I HAVE OWNED THIS VEHICLE THE REAR GLASS KEEPS POPPING OPEN WHEN I HIT BUMPS. I DO NOT OPEN THE REAR GLASS OR THE LIFTGATE VERY OFTEN RIGHT NOW BUT I PROBABLY WILL ONCE MY CHILD GETS HERE IN MARCH. THAT IS HOW I KNOW ITS NOT FROM FAILING TO CLOSE THE GLASS PROPERLY. THIS HAPPEND AT LEAST 20 TIMES SINCE I HAVE OWNED THE VEHICLE. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER AND ASKED THEM TO LOOK AT IT AND THEY COULD FIND NOTHING WRONG BUT THERE MUST BE SOME SORT OF DESIGN FLAW THAT ALLOWS THIS THING TO JUST POP OPEN WHEN YOU HIT A SMALL BUMP (ITS NOT JUST LARGE BUMPS OR POTHOLES THAT CAUSE IT TO OPEN). I WOULD REALLY LIKE GMC TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT OR SOMETHING FALLS OUT OF THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE AND INJURES SOMEONE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 GMC ENVOY XL. THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE SMELLED OF GASOLINE. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THE FAILURE AS NEEDING A NEW FUEL TANK ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE CONTACT HAS THE REPAIR INVOICES. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 150,000, AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 16,742.*AK
CONSUMER CALLED COMPLAINING, HAVING PROBLEMS WITH TRAILER RUNNING LIGHT PLUG WHICH IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. DEALER HAS INSPECTED IN LAST YEAR AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE OR CORRECT THE PROBLEM. ALSO THE CONSUMER STATES THERE IS NOT INSTRUCTION ON THE MANUAL BOOK FOR THIS LIGHT PLUG. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. TS
CONSUMER IS HAVING PROBLEMS INSTALLING THE CHILD SEAT IN THE BACK SEAT. THE LATCHES , LOCKS, AND LINKAGE SYSTEM IS NOT SAFE TO USE IN THIS KIND OF VEHICLES. MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. PH

ENGINE STALLS, CAUSING CONSUMER TO WAIT A HALF AN HOUR TO START VEHICLE AGAIN. THIS HAS HAPPENED THREE TIMES. DEALER HAS INSPECTED VEHICLE AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE OR CORRECT THE PROBLEM. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. ALSO, ABS FAILURE. *AK
THIS IS MY SECOND LETTER TO YOUR COMPANY GMC. PLAIN AND SIMPLE ALL I AM LOOKING FOR IS THE VALUE OF MY INVESTMENT. I HAVE NO DESIRE TO GET ANYTHING FREE NOR AM I JUST TRYING TO GET A NEW VEHICLE. THE 2002 ENVOY I PURCHASED FROM YOU A YEAR AND A HALF AGO WOULD BE FINE IF I DID NOT HAVE SO MANY PROBLEMS WITH IT. ABOUT A MONTH AGO IT HAD TO HAVE A NEW MOTOR AND THIS PAST WEEK IT HAD TO GO BACK TO THE SHOP TO HAVE A FAN REPLACED AT A COST OF $800. I EXPECT THAT NEXT MONTH I WILL BE PAYING $500 PLUS DOLLARS FOR SOME OTHER REPAIR. I KNEW THAT ONCE THIS REPAIR WAS DONE TO THE MOST IMPORTANT SYSTEM OF THE VEHICLE I WOULD HAVE MAJOR PROBLEMS FOR AS LONG AS I HAVE THIS ENVOY. I AM NOT GOING TO ALLOW THIS COMPANY TO KEEP ME IN THIS SITUATION. THIS IS MY FINAL ATTEMPT TO REASON WITH GMC TO WORK OUT SOME WAY FOR ME TO GET A DEPENDABLE VEHICLE THAT AFFORDS ME THE YEARS OF SERVICE ANY REASONABLE PERSON WOULD EXPECT FOR A 30K INVESTMENT. MY GMC SR # IS 1-5521-9927. I AM QUITE AWARE OF YOUR ASSERTION THAT YOU REPLACED THE ENGINE OUT OF WARRANTY FREE OF CHARGE. I WOULD COUNTER THAT CLAIM BY SAYING THAT THE PROBLEMS WITH THE ENGINE STARTED LONG BEFORE THE WARRANTY EXPIRED. I HAVE THE SERVICE CONTRACT TO SHOW THIS. MY POINT IS I AM STILL STUCK WITH A 2002 GMC TRUCK THAT HAS SUFFERED A MAJOR ENGINE FAILURE AND ALL THE PROBLEMS THAT COME WITH THAT FAILURE AND THIS IS JUST 2003. I WOULD ALSO SAY THAT THE VERY FACT THAT THE ENGINE FAILED SO SOON DOES NOT SPEAK WELL OF THIS VEHICLE OR YOUR COMPANY. I HOPE THIS IS NOT THE STANDARD YOU HAVE ESTABLISHED FOR YOUR VEHICLE. NOW ONLY A FEW WEEKS AFTER THE ENGINE IS REPLACED I AM FACED WITH THE TRUCK GOING BACK TO THE SHOP FOR A MAJOR REPAIR. I STILL HAVE NOT MENTIONED THE OTHER PROBLEMS I HAVE HAD WITH THE ENVOY. CONSUMER FRONT BRAKES FAILED, CAUSING THE CONSUMER TO USE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO STOP THE VEHICLE.*JB
WE EXPERIENCED, LIKE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO POSTED COMPLAINTS WITH NHTSA ABOUT ENGINE FAILURE IN ENVOYS THAT ARE NOT EVEN YEAR OLD OR OVER 10,000 MILES. WE HAD AN EXPERIENCE WITH OUR 2002 ENVOY WHERE ON THURS. 12/19 MY HUSBAND WAS ACCELERATING OFF OF A TAKE OFF RAMP ONTO THE BELTWAY AND ALL OF A SUDDEN HE HEARD A LOUD CLATTERING NOISE. HE PULLED OVER TO THE SHOULDER AND COULD NOT GO ANY FURTHER. WE HAD IT TOWED TO THE GMC DEALER AND THEY DETERMINED THAT THERE WAS A DRIVE TRAIN FAILURE WITH PIECES FOUND DOWN TO THE SIX CYCLINDER HEAD. THEY ARE REPLACING THE ENGINE WITH AN "UPDATED" ENGINE, WHICH MEANS TO ME THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE FIRST RUN ENGINES. ACCORDING TO COMPLAINTS POSTED TO YOUR WEBSITE THIS HAS HAPPENED TO LOTS OF PEOPLE. WHEN IS THE RECALL COMING? STOPPING ABRUPTLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY IS VERY DANGEROUS. DOES IT TAKE SOMEONE TO GET KILLED BEFORE A RECALL CAN BE DONE? WE ARE IN NEGOTIATIONS WITH GMC AT THIS TIME. I WOULD LIKE A RESPONSE TO MY E-MAIL.
OWN 2002 ENVOY FROM GMC,AFTER 15,000 MILES DEVELOPED A GRINDING NOISE IN WHEELS.HAVE BEEN BACK TO DEALER AND SPOKE TO GMC DIRECT.THEY HAVE TRIED TO CORRECT 5 TIMES.THEY ACKNOWLEDGE PROBLEM IN AXLE.HAVE PUT CONVERSION KIT IN TO CORRECT,WHICH DIDN'T WORK.MECHANIC CLAIMS DEALERSHIP HAVE TWO OTHER ENVOY'S WITH SAME PROBLEM.I BELIEVE THIS MAYBE A MANUFACTURING DEFECT.THEY ARE TRYING TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM FOR ME.I AM NOT REQUESTING ANY HELP WITH THIS ISSUE.I WANT THIS AT LEAST TO BE A MATTER OF RECORD FOR ANY FUTURE COMPLAINTS WHICH MAY COME YOUR WAY.
IN AN ACCIDENT ON I75 WHEN FORCED OFF ROAD INTO TREES AHD LARGE TREE DENT IN FRONT FENDER. AIRBAG IN FRONT NEVER DEPLOYED AND DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG HAD HOLES BLOWN IN IT THAT DAMAGED MY LEFT HAND AND ARMREST IMPACT CAUSED KIDNEY TO RUPTURE AND BLEED.
SPOT WELDS FAILING ON DOOR HINGE ASSEMBLY DUE TO FLEXING OF METAL ADJACENT TO HINGE. DOOR CHECK ROD NOT PERFORMING RESTRAINING FUNCTION. BROKEN SPOT WELDS COULD ALLOW A DOOR TO FALL OFF MOVING VEHICLE. DT
MY 2002 ENVOY HAS A PROBLEM WITH THE DOORS ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. SOMETIMES WHEN I DRIVE OVER A BUMP IN THE ROAD ALL 4 OF THE DOORS WILL UNLOCK. THIS PROBLEM SEEMS TO OCCUR MORE OFTEN DURING COLDER WEATHER. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN SERVICE 4 TIMES FOR THIS SAME PROBLEM, THEY TELL ME THAT THEY ARE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE IT. *NLM

TRANSMISSION ON COLD START STAYS IN FIRST GEAR. LEFT REAR BRAKE APPEAR TO HAVE HUNG UP AND IS BURNING. DT
RECALL 04V289000 CONCERNING ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED AIR SUSPENSION. VEHICLE EXPERIENCED ENGINE STALLING AT LOW SPEED. VEHICLE HAD BEEN TO THE DEALER ON FOUR SEPARATE OCCASIONS, AND DEALER WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE THE PROBLEM.*AK
WHEN VEHICLE IS AT A 1/4 TANK OR LESS, AND GAS IS APPLIED, VEHICLE WILL NOT ACCELERATE. THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE MAIN COMPUTER CHIP. PLEASE PROVIDE MORE DETAILS. TS
ENGINE HAS TO BE REPLACED MUCH HASTLE. DT
ENGINE DIED AT HIGH SPEED ON HIGHWAY, FORTUNATELY NO ACCIDENT. ENGINE HAD TO BE REPLACED BY GM DUE TO DEFECTIVE MANUFACTURE, PISTON RING SLIPPED AND DAMAGED DRIVE SHAFT. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE DEALING WITH GM.
ON OUR 2002 GMC ENVOY, WHEN DRIVING IN HEAVY FOG OR ANY TYPE OF FALLING SNOW THE HEADLIGHTS SHOOT A BEAM OF LIGHT STRAIGHT UP. IT LOOKS LIKE WHAT THE SEARCHLIGHTS LOOK LIKE IN OLD WAR MOVIES. THE REFLECTION FROM THE LIGHT ON HE FOG OR SNOW REALLY MESSES UP THE DRIVERS VISION BECAUSE IT EFFECTIVLY BLOCKS THE SIGHT OF ANYTHING PAST THE HOOD. WE TALKED TO THE DEALER ABOUT IT AND THE SERVICE MANAGER SAID THAT WE WEREN'T THE FIRST TO COMPALIN BUT UNTIL GM DID A RECALL, HE COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
GMC ENVOY 2002 SLE XL PURCHASED IN THE MONTH OF JUNE AND STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS IN OCT. THE VEHICLE WOULD SHIFT IN AND OUT OF 2WD AND 4WD ON IT'S OWN AND ON OCCASION IT WOULD LOCK THE WHEELS ALSO. PROBLEM MOSTLY OCCURED WHEN MAKING TURNS. STATED PROBLEM TO DEALER (10/18/02) - DEALER REPLACED 4WD SELECTOR SWITCH (REASON: INTERNALLY SHORTED). HAD PROBLEM AGAIN IN MONTH OF FEB. '03. BROUGHT VEHICLE BACK TO THE SAME DEALER AND EXPLAINED PROBLEM AGAIN (02/21/03). DEALER REPLACED 4WD SELECTOR SWITCH AGAIN. REASON WHY I'M FILING THIS COMPLAINT IS BECAUSE I FEEL THIS VEHICLE IS NOT SAFE. I ALSO REALIZED THAT I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE EXPERIENCING THESE SAME PROBLEMS. MY HOPE IS THAT GMC WILL TAKE NOTICE AND CORRECT THIS PROBLEM QUICKLY.
CRACK IN GAS TANK ON GMC ENVOY THAT WAS FOUR MONTHS OLD.
CONSUMER STATES THE VEHICLE WILL SLIP OUT OF OVERDRIVE AND INTO FIRST GEAR, WHICH RESULTS IN THE VEHICLE LOSING POWER. THERE IS A WARNING LIGHT THAT WILL COME ON WHICH WILL READ REDUCE ENGINE SPEED, THE DEALER REPLACED THE PCM/VCM BUT THIS DID NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM, FRONT END SQUEAKS WHEN TURNING AND DRIVING, . THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE SEATBELT WAS EXTREMELY HARD TO FASTEN. THE FEMALE END WOULD ONLY STICK HALFWAY OUT OF THE CASING. PASSENGER WAS NOT PROPERLY RESTRAINED. DEALER HAD BEEN CONTACTED. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION. TS *JB
VEHICLE INVOLVED IN A COLLISOION AT 5 TO 10 MPH THE DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. *AK. CONSUMER STATED VEHICLE WAS HIT BROADSIDE DIRECTLY INTO THE ROLL BAR AREA BETWEEN THE DRIVERS DOOR AND DRIVERS SIDE, CONSUMER'S HUSBAND SUFFERED SEVERE INJURIES.*JB
WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED ON FLAT SURFACE AND WITH NO WARNING, HATCHBACK WINDOW WILL OPEN. CONSUMER WILL HAVE TO PULL OVER TO CLOSE THE WINDOW. ENGINE STALLS FOR NO APPARENT REASON. I HAVE CONTACTED DEALERSHIP AND THEY CAN FIND NOTHING WRONG. I ADVISED THEM OF A RECALL REGARDING THE FUEL SYSTEM THAT MAY AFFECTED THE PROBLEM. SAYS THEY REPLACED THE FUEL FILTER. THE FIRST TIME I TOOK IT IN, THEY SAID THAT IT WAS THE IGNITION SWITCH. ALSO TRANSMISSION MAKES A VERY LOUD NOISE WHEN ATTEMPTING TO TAKE OFF AT TIMES. IT SOUNDS LIKE AN ENGINE FAN THAT WILL NOT GO OFF. THERE IS A MAJOR LOST OF POWER WHEN THIS PROBLEM IS OCCURING. I BOUGHT THIS CAR AS A PROGRAM CAR, WITH @ 11, 000 MILES ON IT ALREADY. I'VE HAD PROBLEMS WITH IT FROM DAY ONE. I HAVE ONLY HAD IT A FEW MONTHS. I AM EXTREMELY IRRITATED WITH THIS ENGINE PROBLEM. THIS IS EXTREMELY UNSAFE. DT
WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS THE VEHICLE STALLED OUT AND DIED. THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT AND REDUCE ENGINE SPEED INDICATOR LIGHTS CAME ON BEFORE STALLING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE DEALER HAS NOT DETERMINED THE FAILURE. *JB DEALER REPLACED THE ENTIRE ENGINE. DEALERSHIP STATED GM WOULD NOT ALLOW THEM TO REPLACE THE PARTS THAT BROKE IN THE CYLINDER. *JG
VEHICLE'S AIR BAG LIGHT KEEP FLASHING/ VEHICLE RUNNING ON HIGH RPM'S. *MR AIR BAG SENSOR REPLACED AND CALIBRATIONS HAD TO BE UPDATED. ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS INCLUDED FADED WINDOW MOLDINGS, LOSS OF POWER AND STEERING. IGNITION SWITCH AND FUSE BLOCK WAS REPLACED. INOPERATIVE POWER MIRRORS. PARTS HAD TO BE ORDERED. CONSUMER WAS UPSET WITH THE NUMBER OF PROBLEMS EXPERIENCED WITH VEHICLE AND THE NUMBER OF RECALLS ON THIS NEW SUV. *TT *JB
