WAS TOLD BRAKE LINES WERE COMPLETELY RUSTED, AND NEEDED A NEW TRANSMISSION. WE PAID FOR REPAIR OF THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. TALKED TO OUR DEALERSHIP, HOLMAN IN CINCINNATI OH, ABOUT BREAKS. NO RECALL LISTED. THEY HAVE NEVER TOLD US THE BRAKE LINES WERE RUSTED. OFFERED US $150 BRAKE KIT TO DO OURSELVES (CANT DO) OR THEY CAN DO IT FOR $1500-2000. CAN'T AFFORD. IT SITS IN OUR DRIVEWAY, EPIC FAIL GMC. WE BOUGHT A HONDA.

I GET THIS (COMFORT RIDE CONTROL) WHEN I TURN THE KEY OFF AND BACK ON IT THERE AGAIN. WHEN I START IT UP.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 GMC YUKON DENALI XL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED DURING ACCELERATION, THE VEHICLE HESITATED AND THE TRACTION ACTIVE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE AIR FILTER FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, THE BG FUEL INDUCTION SERVICED NEEDED TO BE DONE, THE FRONT BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, AND THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL SERVICE NEEDED TO BE DONE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
BRAKE HOSE IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT DEVELOPED PINHOLE LEAK DUE TO HEAVY RUST. BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR. BRAKE BLEEDER SCREWS RUSTED SOLID- CAN'T BLEED LINES AFTER REPAIRS. IT APPEARS THAT INFERIOR QUALITY METAL BRAKE LINES WERE USED THAT RUST EASILY. THIS IS A VERY LOW MILEAGE VEHICLE. THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THESE TRUCKS AND GM NEEDS TO HELD ACCOUNTABLE, AND A RECALL SHOULD BE ISSUED AS VERY SERIOUS CRASHES MAY OCCUR. *TR
I JUST BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE FROM COMMUNITY FORD IN INDIANA. I GOT UP UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE AND FOUND THE FRAME IS SEVERELY RUSTED AND CRACKED AT THE FACTORY INSTALLED FRAME HITCH MOUNT POINTS. AS IF THE TONGUE WEIGHT TO A TRAILER WAS OVER THE RATED LIMIT. I HAVE READ SEVERAL POSTS ON FORUMS DEALING WITH THIS ISSUE AND IT SEEMS TO BE A COMMON ISSUE IN 2500HD TRUCKS OF THIS YEAR AND 2005.I HAVE ALSO NOTICED MY REAR CROSSMEMBER IS SEVERELY CORRODED ALONG WITH OTHER PARTS OF THE FRAME. *TR
EXCESSIVE RUST BUILD UP ON BRAKE LINES, ROTORS AND CALIPERS. ROTORS & PADS PREVIOUSLY REPLACED IN SEPT., 2008. NEEDED REPLACEMENT AGAIN IN OCT., 2012 AFTER ONLY DRIVING 16,000 MILES. BRAKE LINES ARE SEVERELY CORRODED AND ARE IN NEED OF REPLACEMENT. CONTROL ARM LINKAGE ATTACHED TO HEIGHT SENSOR ACTUATOR ALSO BROKE AT ABOUT THE SAME TIME. *TR
THE RUBBER BOOT THAT HOLDS THE GREASE IN ON THE LOWER & UPPER BALL JOINTS ON BOTH LEFT & RIGHT SIDE HAVE BLOWN OUT. *TR
VEHICLE HAS PULLED STRONGLY TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT ALMOST CAUSING ONE SERIOUS ACCIDENT WITH 4 CHILDREN INSIDE. VEHICLE HAS HAD CHRONIC FRONT END ALIGNMENT/SUSPENSION FAILURES. A TOTAL OF 4 ALIGNMENTS HAVE BEEN PERFORMED AND A 5TH IS NEEDED. VEHICLE HAS 24,000 MILES AND NEEDS A NEW SET OF TIRES. UNUSUAL WEAR CONTINUES ON THE INNER FRONT TIRE TREAD AND THE UNEVENLY WORE TREAD IS BEVELED. GM REFUSES TO ADMIT THERE IS ANY PROBLEM. *NM
WHILE DRIVING 12 MPH DRIVERS SIDE UPPER BALL JOINT COLLASPED WHICH CAUSED THE DRIVER TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND HIT A SIGN POLE HEAD ON. THE CONSUMER HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIRS. *AK
