THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS AWAITING DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE DEALER (TULLEY BUICK GMC, 147 DANIEL WEBSTER HWY, NASHUA, NH 03060) WAS CONTACTED IN REGARDS TO THE AIR BAG FAILURE, BUT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTIFICATION FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V381000 (AIR BAGS), BUT THE PARTS TO DO THE RECALL REPAIR WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNED A 2007 GMC YUKON. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO A GUARDRAIL AFTER BEING CUT OFF BY ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE ROOF AIR BAG DEPLOYED, BUT NEITHER THE DRIVER NOR PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. IT WAS UNKNOWN IF A POLICE REPORT WERE FILED AND IF THE VEHICLE WERE TOWED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES SUSTAINED. THE DEALER (CONKLIN FANGMAN BUICK GMC, 3200 MAIN ST, KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI, 64111, (888) 515-2477) WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V381000 (AIR BAGS); HOWEVER, THE PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE. DRIVING DOWN ROADWAY AND HIT POTHOLE. SUDDENLY ALL CURTAIN AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. CHECKED EXTERIOR OF VEHICLE FOR DAMAGE BUT COULD NOT SEE ANY VISIBLE DAMAGE. SPEED WAS ESTIMATED 50 MPH. ---- SEATBELTS LOCKED, ELECTRICAL, INTERIOR LIGHTS AND REAR TAILGATE EXPERIENCED ISSUES AFTER INCIDENT.

TAKATA RECALL, I CONTACTED MY LOCAL DEALER AND THEY SAID NO RECALL FOR MY TRUCK IS NECESSARY BUT THE WEBSITE WWW.AIRBAGRECALL.COM SHOWS A RECALL WAS ISSUED. THE DEALER STATED GMC HAS NOT ISSUED A RECALL AND NO PARTS WERE GIVING TO THEM TO PERFORM THE SERVICE.

REAR DRIVER TAIL LIGHT WIRING DOES NOT WORK. PUT NEW BULBS IN AND ONLY THING THAT WORKS ARE THE BRAKE AND REVERSE LIGHT. THERE IS NO RUNNING LIGHT THAT COMES ON
TAKATA RECALL ITS BEEN OVER 2 YEARS SINCE THE RECAL HAS BEEN ISSUED. GM STILL HAS NOT DETERMINED A RESOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM. THEY WERE GIVEN UNTIL AUGUST 2017 TO FIND A RESOLUTION. NOW NEARLY A YEAR LATER THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE AND CONTINUE TO PUT THEIR CONSUMERS LIVES AT RISK TO SAVE MONEY. THIS IS BEYOND UNACCEPTABLE. THE NHTSA NEEDS TO FINALLY STEP UP AND FORCE THEM TO ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING TO RECTIFY THE ISSUE BEFORE MORE PEOPLE ARE INJURED OR KILLED.

04/27/18 FRI MORNING DRIVING HOME I HIT A MEDIAN WITH DRIVER FRONT TIRE, INWHICH ALL MY AIRBAGS DEPLOYED IMEDIATLY INCLUDING SIDE AIRBAGS AND CAUSED SUCH A SUDDEN PANIC DISTRACTION THAT I SWERVED AND FLIPPED MY VEHICLE. I WAS PULLED FROM THE WRECK LUCKILY AND TAKEN BY AMBULANCE TO THE HOSPITOL. MY TRUCK WAS COMPLETELY TOTALLED. MY VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION THE ENTIRE TIME UNTIL IT STOPPED ROLLING LEAVING THE FINAL POSITION UPSIDE DOWN. THERE WAS NO REASON THESE AIR BAGS SHOULD HAVE DEPLOYED AND THEY CAUSED ME TO NEARLY LOSE MY LIFE. NORMALLY JUS A TIRE WOULD BLOW IN SUCH A HIT FROM TIRE. THE FIRST ONES TO DEPLOY WERE ALL FOUR WINDOW AIRBAGS THEN SOON AS I FLIPPED THE OTHERS WENT OFF AND I WAS KNOCKED UNCONSCIOUS. I WAS NOT AWARE THERE WAS A RECALL INPLACE AND JUST RECENTLY BOUGHT THIS TRUCK IN JAN. 2018.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC YUKON XL. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED AND THE STABILITRAK WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT FIRST EXPERIENCED THE FAILURE TWO YEARS AGO AND TOOK THE VEHICLE TO BRAEGER CHEVROLET (4100 S 27TH ST, MILWAUKEE, WI 53221). THE DEALER REPLACED THE SPARK PLUGS, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED FOR THE RECENT FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 185,000.
TAKATA RECALL I AM VERY CONCERNED BECAUSE MY VEHICLE IS OVER 10 YEARS OLD AND I LIVE IN GEORGIA WHERE IT IS HOT AND HUMID. I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO GET REPLACEMENT AIRBAGS BECAUSE THE COMPANY IS NOT PROVIDING THEM AT NO COST. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE IT DONE AT MY LOCAL GMC CARL BLACK DEALERSHIP (888) 491-7859 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. MY SON JUST HAD A FRONT END ACCIDENT WITH IT AND THANK GOODNESS THE AIRBAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY.
DEADLINE FOR AIRBAG RECALL DECISION WAS AUG 2017. GM HAS FAILED TO COME UP WITH A RECALL, SOLUTION, OR PLAN TO DRIVERS. WHAT IS THE FINAL ANSWER? ARE THESE VEHICLES SAFE OR NOT?
TAKATA RECALL, MY DASHBOARD ON MY 2007 GMC YUKON IS CRACKED ALL OVER AND I CAN LITERALLY LIFT PARTS UP AND SEE UNDER IT. WE BOUGHT THE VEHICLE LIKE THIS FROM THE USED CAR DEALER. SO THE DATE IT HAPPENED IN UNKOWN BUT AM WANTING TO KNOW WHAT I CAN DO ABOUT THIS.

TAKATA RECALL; I'M TOLD CAR IS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE YET GMC DEALER SAYS NO REPLACEMENTS ARE AVAILABLE, NO ALTERNATIVE OFFERS MADE; TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE TO HAVE TO BE PUT IN POSITION TO DRIVE POSSIBLE TIME BOMB AND HAVE TO TAKE 100% RISK. I NEED EITHER REPLACEMENT NOW (NOT IN 5 YEARS AFTER LITIGATION OR AFTER DEATH FROM DEFECT BLOWING UP)
I BROUGHT THIS SUV IN NOV 2017 AND WENT TO CHICAGO TO SEE MY MOM AND KIDS AND THE STABILITRAK CONTROL KICK AND MADE THE TRUCK NOT GO PASS 30 MPH MAKING THE TRANS KICK IN I WENT TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAID IT THE PRESSURE SWTCH AND THE TRUCK ONLY HAVE 140.000

WHEN I WAS TOLD THAT I DID NEED THE REPLACEMENT I PLACED A CALL TO A DEALERSHIP IN MY CITY & WAS TOLD THAT THEY COULDN'T DO ANYTHING FOR ME AT THIS TIME. IT WASN'T AN OFFICIAL GMC RECALL. LUCKILY I HAVE NOT BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT YET BUT AM CONFUSED AS TO WHY GM IS NOT TAKING ACTION BEFORE SOMEONE IS KILLED OR HURT TO TAKE CARE OF THIS MATTER.
SEAT BELT SYSTEM SEEM TO BE DEFECTED. AIR BAG ARE NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY.

TAKATA RECALL; I'VE CONTACTED MULTIPLE GMC DEALERSHIPS TO BE SURE I'M BEING GIVEN THE SAME STORY FROM ALL, BUT ALL SAY GM HAS NOT YET COME UP WITH A RESOLUTION FOR THE RECALL. THIS IS A FAMILY VEHICLE WHICH WE PUT LOTS OF MILES ON. PURCHASED IT FOR IT'S SAFETY RECORD SO THIS IS QUITE DISTURBING. WHEN WILL THIS, IF EVER, GET RESOLVED?
INTERIOR DASHBOARD. CRACKED IN TWO PLACES 1.) TOP LEFT CORNER OF PASSENGER AIRBAG PANEL 2.) CENTER OF GAUGE DOME STARTING FORM VENT VANES CRACKED UP TO NEARLY TOP OF THE GAUGE DOME. THIS CONDITION STARTED 2018 AND HAS PROGRESSIVELY WORSENED IN LENGTH. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN GARAGE KEPT ITS ENTIRE OWNERSHIP. I RESEARCHED AND FOUND THAT MANY OTHER OWNERS ARE E EXPERIENCING THIS SAME CRACKING ISSUES IN THE SAME LOCATION.
The contact owns a 2007 GMC Yukon. The contact stated that the front driver’s side dashboard was cracked. There were multiple cracks that had since developed. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer for unknown recall repairs and made them aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

WHEN WE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE APPROX. 3.5 YEARS AGO, IT HAD A SMALL CRACK IN THE DASHBOARD. LAST DECEMBER, IT WAS NOTICED THAT THE CRACK HAD GOTTEN MUCH BIGGER, AND NOW A SECOND CRACK HAS BEEN NOTED. THIS IS BECOMING A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN, AS THE DASH MAY SHATTER IN A FRONT-END COLLISION WITH AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT. UPON DOING RESEARCH ON;INE, I FOUND THAT I AM NOT ALONE. THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF REPORTS OF SIMILAR ISSUES AMONG SIMILAR YEARS AND MODELS. PLEASE HELP ME KEEP MY FAMILY SAFE BY REQUIRING GM TO PROVIDE A FIX OR REPLACEMENT. THANK YOU!

TAKATA RECALL---I HAD AN OIL CHANGE AND TIRE ROTATION ON NOV. 18TH, 2017 AT RALLY GMC IN PALMDALE, CALIF. THE DEALER SAID THERE IS NO REMEDY FOR TAKATA'S DEFECTIVE AIRBAGS. THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.
TAKATA INFLATORS. RECEIVED NOTICE OF RECALL. CALLED DEALER. DEALER CONFIRMED THAT A RECALL HAS BEEN ISSUED BUT GM HAS NOT IDENTIFIED A REMEDY. IT HAS BEEN APPROXIMATELY 15 MONTHS SINCE THE RECALL. 0
I RECEIVED A NOTICE FOR THE RECALL FOR THE AIRBAGS BACK IN JULY OF 2017, I HAVE ASKED MY DEALER TODAY, AND AS OF TODAY, THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PARTS TO REPAIR THE DEFECTIVE AIRBAGS ALMOST A YEAR AND A HALF LATER. I WOULD SAY THAT THE PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED IN A TIMELY MANNER. I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE IN FEAR OF INJURY IF DEPLOYMENT OF THE AIRBAG TAKES PLACE. I HAVE ONLY PUT FEW THOUSAND MILES ON THE VEHICLE SINCE RECEIVING THE RECALL NOTICE.
TAKATA RECALL. I HAVE CONTACTED MY LOCAL GMC DEALER AND THEY ADVISE THERE IS NO REMEDY AT THIS TIME. IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR AND NO REMEDY. AIRBAGS HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO DEPLOY BY ITSELF.
THE DASHBOARD HAS CRACKED IN 2 PLACES, 1 IN FRONT OF THE DRIVERS SEAT, AND THE OTHER IN FRONT OF THE PASSENGER SEAT BY THE AIRBAG. IT WAS ALREADY CRACKED BEFORE I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE USED, BUT HAS GOTTEN WORSE LIVING ON A DIRT ROAD.
TAKATA RECALL, DEALEER STATED FIX NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME, NO LIST TO TAKE MY NAME.
RECEIVED A NOTICE IN THE MAIL ABOUT A TAKATA RECALL ON DRIVER SIDE AIRBAGS
"TAKATA RECALL" THERE IS NO REASON WHY THIS HAS NOT BEEN REMEDIED YET! BY GENERAL MOTORS OR TAKATA (WHICH IS NOW GOING BANKRUPT!) I FEEL UNSAFE DRIVING AROUND A VEHICLE WITH DEFECTIVE SAFETY EQUIPMENT! THERE IS NO SOLUTION AND I'VE CONTACTED DEALERS!
TAKATA RECALL. I RECEIVED A NOTICE AND CALLED THE GMC DEALERSHIP IN MONROEVILLE PA AND THEY STATED THAT GMC HAS NOT RELEASED A FIX AS OF 11/1/2017. NOTHING AT THIS TIME HAS HAPPENED WITH THE VEHICLE.
TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC YUKON. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V383000 (AIR BAGS); HOWEVER, THE PART FOR THE RECALL REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT CALLED DEERY BROTHERS INC (200 S GEAR AVE, WEST BURLINGTON, IA 52655; 319-752-6000) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE, AND THE CONTACT WOULD RECEIVE A SECOND NOTICE WHEN THE REMEDY IS AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.

TAKATA RECALL DEALER SAYS RECALL PRODUCTS NT ISSUED AFTER MY 2ND NOTICE IN 2016 AND 2017
RECEIVED ANOTHER NOTICE ABOUT THE AIR BAG RECALL HOWEVER GM STILL DOES NOT HAVE A REMEDY. HAVE ALSO RECEIVED A NOTICE THAT THE MANUFACTURER OF THE AIR BAGS HAS FILED BANKRUPTCY. WILL THIS EVER BE FIXED?????
