TAKATA RECALL. RECALL ISSUED IN 2016 BUT AS OF 12/04/2017 THERE IS STILL NOT A SOLUTION. I HAVE AN AIRBAG INDICATOR LIGHT CURRENTLY ON AND AM AFRAID THAT AIRBAG WILL NOT INFLATE WHEN NEEDED OR MIGHT INFLATE WHEN NOT NEEDED. ALSO, IN UNRELATED ISSUE THE ENTIRE DISPLAY ON THE DASH HAS STOPPED WORKING AS WELL. I HAVE SEARCHED WEB AND I DO SEE INDICATIONS THAT THERE ARE ACTIVE RECALLS FOR ELECTRICAL HOWEVER MY DEALER SAYS THERE ARE NOT ANY ELECTRICAL RECALLS FOR MY VEHICLE.

TAKATA RECALL- I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTIFICATION FOR MY 2007 GMC YUKON IN MAY OF 2016 FOR THE AIR BAG BUT AS OF TODAY 10/25/17, I AM BEING TOLD THERE STILL IS NO REMEDY.
I WAS ISSUED A RECALL NOTICE FOR A SAFETY DEFECT ON TAKATA PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG ON 5/27/16. I'VE CONTACTED GM ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS AND KEEP GETTING THE ANSWER OF PARTS/RESOLUTION NOT AVAILABLE YET. I'M DRIVING A VEHICLE WITH A SAFETY DEFECT FOR A YEAR AND A HALF NOW GM UNWILLING TO PROPERLY REPAIR.
THERE IS AN OPEN RECALL FOR MY VEHICLE SINCE MAY 27 2016 FOR AIRBAGS WHICH COULD CAUSE SERIOUS OR FATAL INJURIES. IT IS NOW OCTOBER 29 2017 & IT STILL IS NOT FIXED. THE RECALL IS STILL INCOMPLETE.
