FOR THE FOURTH TIME THE REAR LIFT GATE HATCH WINDOW HAS SEPARATED FROM THE HINGE (S). IT ALWAYS HAPPENS WHILE IN MOTION AND ON JUST A STRAIGHT ROAD! I GUESS I WILL START TAKING PICS OF THE HINGES, NEVER THOUGH OF THAT SINCE IT IS ON WARRANTY. I AM AFRAID IT WILL SOMETIME FALL COMPLETELY OFF WHILE DRIVING.
DASHBOARD HAS CRACK. ONE CRACK IS NEXT TO THE PASSENGER AIRBAG AND THE OTHER IS ABOVE THE STEERING COLUMN. THE CRACK ABOVE THE STEERING COLUMN HAS BECOME PROGRESSIVELY WORSE AS TIME PROGRESSES. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY WHEN I NOTICED THE CRACKS.
DASHBOARD HAS TWO CRACKS. ONE IS BY THE PASSENGER AIRBAG AND THE OTHER IS ABOVE THE STEERING COLUMN. THE ONE ABOVE THE STEERING COLUMN IS BECOMING WORSE AS TIME PROGRESSES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT IN MOTION WHEN I NOTICED THE CRACKS.
WITHIN 1 YEAR AFTER PURCHASE, THE FRONT DASH CRACKED ALMOST COMPLETELY ON THE RIGHT SIDE ABOVE THE DRIVER'S INSTRUMENT GAUGE CLUSTER AND ON THE LEFT SIDE AROUND THE PASSENGER AIRBAG. IT NOW VIBRATES UNCONTROLLABLY DURING ALL DRIVING OVER 15MPH, IS DISTRACTING TO THE DRIVER AND I AM CONCERNED ABOUT ITS EFFECTING THE FUNCTION OF THE PASSENGER AIRBAG. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 GMC YUKON. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE SERVICE AIR BAG LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE STARTED WITH THE LIGHT GOING OFF AND ON, WHICH PROGRESSED TO THE LIGHT PERMANENTLY REMAINING ILLUMINATED. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 39,000.
I HAD A FRONT END COLLISION AT 25 MPH WITH A PARKED CAR. MY AIRBAG(S) DID NOT DEPLOY. THE ENTIRE FRONT END OF MY CAR WAS DESTROYED. THE HOOD WAS CRUMPLED AND BOTH FRONT QUARTER PANELS DAMAGED. THE FRONT DOORS ARE NOT EASILY OPENED DUE TO THE QUARTER PANEL DAMAGE. IT IS HARD FOR ME TO UNDERSTAND HOW AN IMPACT AT THE SPEED I WAS TRAVELING AND THE LOCATION OF IMPACT DID NOT CAUSE THE AIRBAG(S) TO DEPLOY. I HAD TO BE TRANSPORTED VIA AMBULANCE FROM THE SCENE AND SUFFERED A CONCUSSION FROM MY HEAD SLAMMING DOWN ON THE STEERING WHEEL. *JS
