I BOUGHT THIS CAR IN DECEMBER 2015. NOW IN NOVEMBER 2016 MY CAR STARTED SMOKING UNDER THE HOOD. TOOK IT TO DEALERSHIP AND DISCOVERED RECALL. WHY WASN'T THIS FIXED BEFORE FLAGSTAFF NISSAN SOLD THIS CAR TO ME??? I SPECIFIALLY ASKED ABOUT RECALLS AND I WAS TOLD THERE WERE NONE!! THIS RECALL WAS DONE IN 2012 SO WHY COULDN'T THEY FIGURE THAT OUT BEFORE SELLING IT????
I'M COMPLAINING BECAUSE I HAVE DEALT WITH TWO DEALERSHIPS AND HONDA ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. I AM GETTING TIRED OF RECEIVING NOTICES FOR THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN. MY HONDA CASE # 04732018. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE UPDATE MY RECORD SO I CAN STOP GETTING NOTICES?
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE PARKING THE VEHICLE AT 5 MPH, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED TO 30-40 MPH AND CRASHED INTO A SET OF BUSHES AND A TREE. THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE CONTACT WAS INJURED AND REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000. UPDATED 7/5/18*JB *TR
TAKATA RECALL. PERFORMANCE HONDA IN BOUNTIFUL UTAH TOOK MY AIRBAG RECALL SUBMISSION MONTHS AGO AND I HAVE REPEATEDLY CONTACTED THEM AND I STILL HAVE NO REPLACEMENT. I RECEIVED THE FORM WHERE IT ADVISED THAT IF I HAD NOT RECEIVED ONE IN 60 DAYS TO GO TO THIS WEBSITE. IT HAS BEEN MUCH LONGER THAN 60 DAYS.
LOWER BALL JOINT COMES APART WHILE DRIVING WHICH CAUSES THE AXLE TO COME OUT OF THE TRANSMISSION, THUS DESTROYING THE AXLE AND THE OIL PAN COVER. *TR
pps indicator light came on two days after driving. Lost control of braking and steering while driving in heavy traffic in the rain. Car steered off interstate I-635 W onto median in Plano TX.

TOOK CAR TO HONDA FOR STEERING RECALL. ALL THEY COULD DO WAS TELL ME WHAT ELSE I NEEDED. POWER STEERING IS NOT WORKING . HAVING BREAKS PUT ON AND GUY SHOWS ME MY POWER STEERING FLUID LEAK ALL OVER. THEY NEVER FIXED THE PROBLEM WHEN I TOOK IT IN TO BE FIXED.
TAKATA INFLATORS. MY VEHICLE APPEARS ON LISTS OF AFFECTED VEHICLES AND NEW JERSEY HAS NOW BECOME A ZONE 2 STATE, YET MY VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN RECALLED TO REPLACE THE INFLATORS AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY EXPLANATION AS TO WHY. I CALLED HONDA AND NHTSA AND HAVE BEEN TOLD ONLY THAT MY VIN IS NOT ON THE RECALL LIST - I KNOW THAT - THAT IS THE VERY REASON FOR MY CONCERN. I DO NOT TRUST THAT ONLY THE RECALLED VINS ARE AT RISK. IT IS UNACCEPTABLE THAT SPECIFIC INFORMATION ABOUT MY VEHICLE AND ITS AIRBAGS IS NOT BEING PROVIDED. EVEN THE HIGH-LEVEL GENERAL CRITERIA PROVIDED BY NHTSA AND HONDA CHANGES FREQUENTLY, AND RECALLS KEEP EXPANDING AFTER THE FACTS OF NEW DEATHS AND INJURIES. ALSO, THE NOTION OF WAITING FOR TAKATA ANALYSES, PREVIOUSLY FALSIFIED IS NOT REASONABLE AT ALL, LET ALONE UNTIL DEC 2019. NHTSA NEEDS TO SEE TO IT THAT ALL OF THE LISTED / AFFECTED VEHICLES BE RECALLED FOR REPLACEMENT OF AIRBAGS/INFLATORS NOW OR THAT LOANER CARS BE PROVIDED NOW. ALSO, NHTSA NEEDS TO SEE TO IT THAT WE ARE GIVEN SPECIFIC INFORMATION ON THE PARTICULAR AIRBAGS IN OUR CARS ALONG WITH DETAILED INFORMATION ON WHY EACH HAS NOT YET BEEN RECALLED.
SUNROOF EXPLODED WHILE VEHICLE IN MOTION ON THE HIGHWAY
A WEAK POWER STEERING PRESSURE HOSE LEAK IS A FIRE HAZARD & MAY HAVE A RECALL...PER MECHANIC ON 7/26/16 CAR HAS 101,000 MILES. I JUST BOUGHT CAR 6/16 & TOOK IN FOR OIL CHANGE. I AM LEERY OF DRIVING CAR VERY FAR SO CHECKING FOR RECALL BEFORE INVESTING ANY FURTHER.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 205,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
ALL WINDOWS OTHER THAN DRIVERS WINDOW QUIT WORKING. IT IS NOT WINDOW LOCK, THE SWITCHES CLICK LIKE THEY ARE GETTING SIGNAL BUT THEY DO NOT WORK. ONLY DRIVERS WINDOW WORKS. THEY ALL QUIT ALL AT ONCE.
I WAS LEAVING HOME ON JULY 7TH AND THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON JUST AFTER I PULLED OUT. ENGINE LIGHT IS ON AND STAYS ON. TESTING BY KIA SERVICE CENTER DONE ON JULY 13TH SAYS THE TORQUE CONVERTER IS GOING OUT AND REPAIRS WILL COST OVER $2,000 AND WILL STOP MOVING WHEN IT GOES OUT. THERE IS NO WAY TO ESTIMATE HOW LONG BEFORE IT BREAKS DOWN. THE VEHICLE HAS LESS THAN 60,000 MILES ON IT AND HAS BEEN WELL CARED FOR AND MAINTAINED. I BOUGHT THIS CAR ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO THEN THE LIGHT CAME ON. RESEARCH SHOWS THE SAME ISSUE WITH THE 2003 - 2004 HONDA ACCORD THAT OCCURS BEFORE 60,000 MILES. I BELIEVE THIS A DEFECT IN MY VEHICLE ALSO.

WAS ON WAY HOME FROM A TRIP WAS OVER 2 HOURS AWAY, WHILE ON FREEWAY THE CAR STOPS AND AND RPM WENT TO RED. I PULLED OVER TO SIDE OF ROAD AND TURNED CAR OFF. WAITED 10 MINUTES AND STARTED IT AND DROVE THE FEW FEET TO REST AREA ENTRANCE AND RPM WENT HIGH AGAIN. AM 32 WEEKS PREGNANT I HAD MY TWO. DAUGHTERS AND 21 MONTH OLD SON. WE WERE STANDED AT REST STOP FOR 7 HOURS. THE SITUATION WAS DANGEROUS THT WITHOUT WARNING THE CAR STOPS GASING AND CAR WOULD NOT MOVE, HAD ANOTHER VEHICLE BEEN BEHIND ME WE WOULD HAVE BEEN HIT. WE WERE VERY LUCKY NO ONE WAS BEHIND US AT THAT MOMENT. THERE WAS NO FUNNY NOISE NO DASH LIGHTS COMING ON. NO INDICATION SOMETHING WAS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. SOMETHING THAT COULD HAVE COST US OUR LIVES, SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS. A RECALL

IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT NOTICED SMOKE UNDER THE HOOD THAT ENTERED THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 12V222000 (STEERING). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
I OWN A 2007 HONDA ACCORD AND WITHIN THE PAST TWO YEARS I'VE REPLACED THE DRIVER FRONT TIRE TWICE. THE FIRST TIME I DIDN'T THINK MUCH OF IT, THE SECOND TIME REPLACING IT , IT GOT ME THINKING, "OK, WHAT'S GOING ON AND WHY IS IT ONLY THIS TIRE I NEED TO REPLACE AGAIN?" I'M THINKING THERE IS AN ALIGNMENT ISSUE? WE NEED THIS PROBLEM RESOLVED BECAUSE I CAN NOT KEEP BUYING TIRES EVERY YEAR. WE DON'T GO ON LONG TRIPS, WE STAY IN OUR HOME TOWN SO I KNOW IT'S NOT JUST NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. SOMETHING IS WRONG, WHICH IS WHY I AM REPORTING THIS PROBLEM. BELOW I PROVIDED TWO PICTURES. NORMAL CITY DRIVING WHEN I START OUT FROM A COMPLETE STOP AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS IT GIVE A HARD BUCK LIKE ITS DEAD THE TRANSMISSION INDICATOR LIGHT GOES OUT THEN RIGHT BACK ON. THE REST OF THE SHIFTING GOES SMOOTH IT ONLY SEEMS TO BE FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEAR. ALSO MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND STAYS ON NOW. I LOOKED UP THE PROBLEM ON LINE THE ECM BCM WAS REPROGRAMED IN 2011 BY JOHNSON HONDA STUART FLORIDA. I CALLED THE DEALER TODAY THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY NEVER HEARD OF ANY PROBLEM INVOLVING THE SECONDARY SHIFT BEARING BUT YET ALL MY SIGNS THE CAR ID DOING POINTS TO THIS PROBLEM. THE SIGHT I VISITED FOR THE INFORMATION SAID TO REFER TO IT A RECALL # R89. HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME.
MY VEHICLE AIRBAG LIGHT TURNED ON TWICE WITHIN THE LAST 5 MONTHS. EACH TIME IT STAYED ON WHEN I STARTED MY CAR. AFTER A QUICK INTERNET RESEARCH I LEARNED THAT WITH THE AIRBAG LIGHT ON MY AIRBAGS WOULD NOT DEPLOYED IF I WERE IN AN CAR ACCIDENT. THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED I TOOK IT INTO A HONDA SERVICE CENTER FOR TESTING. I WAS TOLD THAT I NEEDED TO REPLACE MY BATTERY BECAUSE THE LOW VOLTAGE COULD BE THE CAUSE. AFTER REPLACING THE BATTERY THE LIGHT TURNED OFF AND EVERYTHING WAS GOOD. MONTHS LATER, THE AIRBAG LIGHT TURNED ON AGAIN. I TOOK MY CAR TO ANOTHER HONDA SERVICE CENTER AND HAD IT TESTED ONCE AGAIN. THIS TIME I WAS TOLD THAT MY SRS CONTROL UNIT NEEDED TO BE REPLACE DUE TO CORROSION/OLD AGE. AFTER RESEARCHING THIS FURTHER, I FOUND THAT THERE IS A RECALL ON THE SRS CONTROL UNIT FOR HONDA VEHICLES. UNFORTUNATELY, THIS RECALL EXCLUDED MY PARTICULAR YEAR. I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS PUBLIC SAFETY ISSUE AND I BELIEVE THAT HONDA SHOULD EXPAND THIS PARTICULAR RECALL TO OTHER YEARS. OTHERS MAY NOT BE AS PROACTIVE IN TAKING THEIR VEHICLE IN FOR TESTING OR PAYING FOR THE TEST AND UNIT OUT OF POCKET. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE REVIEW BEFORE SOMEONE OUTSIDE THE RECALL CLASSIFICATION GETS INJURE OR WORSE.
WHILE DRIVING THE CAR, BATTERY LIGHT TURNED ON AND OFF, STEERING WHEEL BECAME STIFF, CAR TURNED OFF AND STEERING WHEEL LOCKED IT SELF.
MY WIFE WAS INVOLVED IN A COLLISION WHILE DRIVING OUR 2007 ACCORD. SHE WAS IN MOTION AT ABOUT 20 MPH WHEN ANOTHER VEHICLE CROSSED HER PATH, WHEREUPON THE FRONT OF OUR HONDA STRUCK THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE OTHER VEHICLE. THIS WAS ON STATE ROUTE 66 AT THE ON-RAMP TO I-215. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE DRIVER'S FRONTAL AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY DESPITE THE FACT THAT THE SEATBELT IS LOCKED AND THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS NOW BLINKING. SHE SUFFERED MINOR INJURIES FROM HITTING HER HEAD ON SOMETHING DURING THE COLLISION AND THERE WERE ABOUT $3,000 IN REPAIRS TO OUR HONDA. IT WOULD SEEM THAT THE AIRBAGS SHOULD HAVE DEPLOYED IN THE CRASH SINCE THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS BLINKING, WHICH I PRESUME TO MEAN THAT THE MODULE HAS RECORDED A PERMANENT DEPLOYMENT EVENT.
REAR BRAKES. THERE ARE MANY COMPLAINTS ON WEAR OF HONDA BRAKES. MINE (FRONT AND REAR) WERE REPLACED SAME DAY, AT 40,200 MI. AT 72,700, THE REAR BRAKES NEEDED REPLACEMENT WITH JUST 3 % LIFE LEFT OR ONLY 32,500 MILES. THIS IS NEARLY HALF LIFE. THE FRONT BRAKES MY REPAIR SHOP NOTES HAS AT LEAST 30% MORE LIFE.
"TAKATA RECALL" PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAGS ON THE RIGHT SIDE FAILED TO DEPLOY UPON RIGHT SIDE IMPACT. SEVERELY INJURING MY PASSENGER.
TAKATA RECALL. OUR HONDA ACCORD 2007 AIRBAG INFLATOR UNDER RECALL WAS REPLACED IN 2014 AT DELRAY HONDA, BOCA RATON, FL. IN TODAY'S NYTIMES, MAY 4, 2016, A NEWS ARTICLE STATES THAT THE PROBLEM NOW FOUND IS THAT AMMONIUM NITRATE IN THE TAKATA INFLATOR IS NOW THE MOST CRITICALLY UNSAFE PROBLEM IN THE AIRBAG. IN A CONVERSATION TODAY WITH A HONDA REPRESENTATIVE NAMED SHERYL, SHE STATED SHE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT THE AMMONIUM NITRATE PROBLEM, AND THAT OUR INFLATOR HAD BEEN REPAIRED IN 2014. I REQUESTED THAT SHERYL GIVE ME THE PHONE NUMBER OF A SUPERVISOR WHO MIGHT KNOW MORE ABOUT THE AMMONIUM NITRATE PROBLEMS & REPAIR SOLUTIONS. SHE STATED SHE COULDN'T GIVE OUT ANY NUMBER, OR CONNECT ME, BUT SHE COULD SEND A REQUEST TO A SUPERVISOR LAURA, AND ADDED THAT LAURA WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO GIVE ME ANY EXPLANATION OR INFORMATION DIFFERENT THAT SHERYL'S. THERE ARE SIX FAMILY MEMBERS, THE YOUNGEST AN 8 YEAR OLD WHO SOMETIMES RIDE IN THE PASSENGER SEAT OF OUR 2007 HONDA ACCORD, AND WISH TO RECEIVE ANSWERS TO WHAT HONDA PLANS TO DO TO REMOVE THE INFLATOR WITH AMMONIUM NITRATE IN OUR HONDA, AND WHAT WILL BE THE CHEMICAL COMPOUND THAT WILL BE USED INSTEAD OF AMMONIUM NITRATE. WE WISH TO BE SAFE AND SOUND IN A CAR, NOT ANXIOUS THAT THERE COULD BE A PROBLEM CAUSING SERIOUS INJURIES, OR GOD FORBID, DEATH TO ANYONE. TAKATA RECALL WHY ARE SOME CARS WITH TAKATA AIR BAGS BEING RECALLED AND OTHERS ARE NOT. IF MY CAR HAS TAKATA AIR BAGS THEN IT SHOULD BE RECALLED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2007 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE MAKING A LEFT TURN AT 15 MPH, THE VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY REVERSED WITHOUT WARNING. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO A FENCE AND A TREE. THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG DEPLOYED. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE AND VIN WERE UNKNOWN.
I PUT THE ALL FOUR WINDOWS DOWN BEFORE DRIVING. AFTER I ARRIVED AT MY DESTINATION, I PUT ALL FOUR WINDOWS UP, LATER ON THAT DAY BEFORE LEAVING MY DESTINATION, I TRIED TO PUT THE WINDOWS DOWN. THE ONLY WINDOW THAT WOULD GO DOWN WAS THE DRIVER SIDE WINDOW. THE OTHER WINDOWS WOULD MAKE A CLICKING SOUND, BUT WOULDN'T GO BACK DOWN. THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM IN MANY HONDA ACCORD MODELS. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF THE COMPANY WOULD FIX THIS PROBLEM, HONDA OWNERS ARE VERY LOYAL CUSTOMERS AND IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED BY MANY OF US. THIS PROBLEM MAKES ME A LITTLE SKEPTICAL ABOUT BUYING ANOTHER HONDA.
I LOWERED THE PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW TODAY, AND WAS UNABLE TO RAISE IT. I WAS TOLD BY A MECHANIC THAT THE PROBLEM IS THE REGULATOR. I HAVE RECENTLY READ ABOUT THE CLASS ACTION SUIT IN CALIFORNIA CONCERNING THE SAME PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION, AS I WAS TRAVELING A THREE HOUR TREK ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON DURING COLD, RAINY WEATHER. NEEDLESS TO SAY, HONDA DEALERSHIP WAS THREE HOURS AWAY AND WERE CLOSED UPON ARRIVAL. I AM FORCED TO WAIT UNTIL MONDAY FOR A TEMPORARY GLASS REPLACEMENT AND ALSO TO HAVE THE WINDOW PROBLEM RESOLVED.
FRONT PASSANGER AND BACK WINDOWS HAVE STOPPED WORKING. DRIVER SIDE WINDOW WORKS PERFECTLY. I CAN HEAR A 'SOUND' WHEN I TRY TO SLIDE DOWN THOSE WINDOWS, BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. WHEN I GOOGLED ABOUT THIS ISSUE, I COULD SEE MANY DRIVERS USING ACCORD 2007 FACING SIMILAR ISSUE.
CLUTCH PEDAL BRACKET CRACKED AND BROKE. PROBLEM WAS UNKNOWN TO USER BECAUSE BRACKET IS BELOW DASH. BECAUSE IT WAS BROKEN, CLUTCH FAILED TO ENGAGE PROPERLY AND ORIGINAL CLUTCH WORE OUT PREMATURELY. EVENTUALLY IT BECAME IMPOSSIBLE TO SHIFT. ONCE CLUTCH WAS REPLACED, THE PROBLEM DISAPPEARED BUT ONLY FOR A SHORT TIME. AFTER THIRD VISIT TO GARAGE MECHANIC FINALLY TRACED PROBLEM BACK TO BROKEN BRACKET.

PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT, A VALU CRAFT BALL JOINT WAS PURCHASED AND INSTALLED IN THE VEHICLE WHICH CAUSED THE BALL JOINT TO SEIZE WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 141,000.
TUESDAY, JANUARY 26TH, 2016, APPROX.9:45PM, MY WIFE AND I WERE TRAVELING HOME FROM NEW JERSEY BACK TO NEW YORK THROUGH HIGHLY POPULATED TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIAN ZONES. OUR 2007 HONDA ACCORD 4CYL, SEDAN WITH 59,700 MILES CAME TO A STOP WHILE TRAVELING APPROX 20MPH AS WE PASSED AN INTERSECTION DUE TO DRIVER SIDE CURTAIN AND SEAT DEPLOYING WITHOUT CAUSE. NO OTHER VEHICLE/PEDESTRIAN WAS INVOLVED, FORTUNATELY, AND NO DAMAGE WAS DONE TO OUR VEHICLE. HOWEVER THE AIRBAGS STRICTLY ON THE DRIVER SIDE, THAT ARE NOT PART OF A RECALL, DEPLOYED/MALFUNCTIONED THUS POTENTIALLY MAY HAVE CAUSED A SERIOUS OR FATAL ACCIDENT HAD ANOTHER VEHICLE OR PEDESTRIAN BEEN NEARBY. THE SERVICE ENGINEER CONCLUDED ANY DIPS IN ROADS, POTHOLES, HILLS, BASICALLY LANDSCAPES THAT DIRECT/FORCE THE FRONT OF A VEHICLE FORWARD COULD POTENTIALLY SET OFF THE SENSOR FOR AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT. CONTRARY TO THEIR 'PROFESSIONAL' STATEMENT OUR VEHICLE DID NOT SEE SUCH A SCENARIO WHERE ONLY DRIVER SIDE OF VEHICLE WOULD REQUIRE AIRBAGS BEING DEPLOYED. SHOULD THE ROAD CONDITIONS BEEN SEVERVE ALL AIRBAGS SHOULD OF DEPLOYED. HAVING SAID THAT THIS SHOULD NOT BE THE CASE. SHOULD THEIR STATEMENT BE "TRUE" CONSEQUENTLY AIRBAGS WOULD BE GOING OFF WITH NO ACCIDENTS MORE OFTEN, AND THIS WOULD BE A REGULAR REPAIR AND PUTTING A GREATER POPULATION AT RISK. WE BELIEVE THE DRIVER SIDE MALFUNCTIONED AND WE CANNOT BE HELD REPONSIBLE WHEN THIS SAFETY FEATURE IS OUT OF OUR CONTROL. WE CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH THAT THERE WAS NO ACCIDENT. VEHICLE WAS MOVING IN A STRAIGHT LINE 20MPH GOING THROUGH A GREEN LIGHT, ON A MODEST INCLINE DOWNHILL AT BEST. TAKATA RECALL, HAVE NOT RECEIVED A NOTICE TO HAVE VEHICLE REPAIRED AT THIS TIME. WHEN I CALL MY DEALER I WAS TOLD PART WILL BE IN DURING THIS SUMMER, THEN THIS FALL. IT IS NOW WINTER AND STILL NO LUCK ON GETTING INFLATER REPLACED.

THE OTHER TWO REAR PASSENGERS DID NOT SUSTAIN ANY INJURIES BUT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
STEERING SUDDENLY BECAME STIFF WHILE IN MOTION DRIVING ON A CITY STREET. RECALLED HOSE HAD BEEN REPLACED BY DEALER. PUMP AND SWITCH REPLACED BUT PROBLEM STILL EXISTS.
I HAVE A 2007 HONDA ACCORD THE DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOW WORKS BUT OTHER 3 WINDOWS DON'T. WHEN I HIT THE MASTER SWITCH ON DRIVERS DOOR TO TRY TO ROLL THE OTHER 3 WINDOWS DOWN YOU CAN HEAR THE SWITCH CLICK AT THE SWITCH ON THE DOOR UR TRYING TO ROLL THE WINDOW DOWN BUT IT DOES NOT MOVE. IT ALL STARTED WHEN I USED MY KEY TO PUT ALL THE WINDOWS DOWN(TURN KEY TWICE TO LEFT AND HOLD) BEFORE ENTERING THE CAR. THEN, ONCE I BEGAN DRIVING I DECIDED TO ADJUST MY WINDOWS BUT IT DID NOT EVEN BUDGE, EXCEPT OF COURSE FOR THE DRIVERS SIDE. THE NIGHT BEFORE I DIDN'T HAVE THIS PROBLEM.
MY HONDA ACCORD HAD A RECALL FOR BOTH DRIVERS SIDE AND PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAGS. I CALLED THE HONDA DEALER CLOSEST TO ME TO SET UP AND APPT. TO GET THEM REPLACED. TOOK MY CAR INTO THE RYAN HONDA DEALERSHIP AND THEY PERFORMED THE WORK IN A COUPLE OF HOURS. WHEN I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP, WHICH WAS AT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT CLOSING TIME, I NOTICED MY SEATBELT/AIRBAG LIGHT WAS ON, AND WOULD NEVER GO OFF (THIS LIGHT WAS NOT ON BEFORE I HAD THE PARTS REPLACED). I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP TO EXPLAIN TO THEM THAT THE LIGHT CAME ON AFTER THE AIRBAGS WERE REPLACED AND WILL NOT GO OFF. THEY TOLD ME THAT MY SEATBELT SENSOR WAS OUT AND THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE AIRBAGS! WELL, MY SEATBELT SENSOR WAS NOT OUT BEFORE THEY DID THE WORK ON MY CAR. NOW, I'M LEARY THAT THE AIRBAGS WERE NOT INSTALLED PROPERLY OR SOMETHING BECAUSE OF THE LIGHT BEING CONSTANTLY ON. I DO APPRECIATE HONDA SENDING THE AIRBAG RECALL AND FOOTING THE BILL, BUT DON'T THINK IT'S FAIR TO GO INTO THE DEALERSHIP AND SOMETHING ELSE GETS MESSED UP AND I HAVE TO PAY TO GET IT REPAIRED AT MY EXPENSE.

WHILE PARKING MY 2007 HONDA ACCORD IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA, I PUT IT INTO REVERSE WITH MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE. THE CAR SUDDENLY ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN, AND THE BRAKES FAILED, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO CRASH INTO A PARKED CAR WITH ENOUGH FORCE TO MOVE IT ABOUT 3 FEET, PUSHING IT UP OVER THE CURB AND ONTO THE SIDEWALK. A SECOND PARKED VEHICLE WAS ALSO DAMAGED. WITH MY FOOT STILL ON THE BRAKE, I SHIFTED INTO DRIVE, AND THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED FORWARD AT AN ALARMING RATE OF SPEED FOR ABOUT ONE/TENTH MILE, WHERE I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO GET THE CAR TO STOP. THE REAR DAMAGE ON MY CAR WAS SO EXTENSIVE THAT THE CAR WAS DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS BY MY INSURANCE COMPANY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. MILEAGE ON THE VEHICLE WAS APPROXIMATELY 33,300 MILES. VEHICLE STRUCK MID-CENTER OF A EXTENDED SUV THAT PULLED OUT FROM A FARM ACCESS ROAD. VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 55MPH, WITH CRUISE CONTROL SET. DRIVER APPLIED BREAKS TO TRY TO STOP, BUT FAILED TO STOP IN TIME TO AVOID COLLISION. VEHICLE FAILED TO DEPLOY AIRBAGS. SAFETY RESTRAINT DID NOT FAIL AT TIME OF IMPACT, BUT FAILED TO RESEND ONCE UNHOOKED FROM DRIVER. IMPACT BY VEHICLE WAS PRIMARILY MID-CENTER, AND VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING WELL ABOVE THE 30MPH AT TIME OF IMPACT WHICH SHOULD HAVE RELEASED THE SAFETY DEVICES TO PROTECT THE DRIVER.

MY HONDA ACCORD 2007 LX HAS ITS FRONT PASSENGER AND DRIVER AIRBAGS REPLACED WITH PART NUMBER 04785SDA306 AND 04770SDA305 IN NOVEMBER 2014 AND AUGUST 2015. IT WAS REPLACED WITH THE EXACT SAME PART THAT WAS IT WAS RECALLED FOR. DO THE 2 AIRBAGS HAVE AMMONIUM NITRATE IN THEM? IF SO WHY ARE THEY BEING REPLACED WITH THE SAME PART? ALSO THE WAS A DESICCANT PUT IN?
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME MY AC HAS GONE OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SUMMER IN PHOENIX, AZ. THE FIRST TIME WAS 8/10/2011. THIS IS NOW 4 YEARS LATER AND MY AC MADE A HORRIBLE SOUND WHILE DRIVING, I PULLED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. MY AC NO LONGER FUNCTIONS AND ONLY BLOWS HOT AIR. IT IS +110 OUTSIDE BY NOON. I CALLED HONDA THE FIRST TIME AND THEY DIDN'T CARE SINCE MY CAR JUST ENDED THE WARRANTY PERIOD. THIS IS A CERTAINLY A BIG ISSUE THAT MY CAR AC NEEDS TO BE FIXED EVERY 4 YEARS!
