TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH THE CONTACT APPLIED PRESSURE TO THE BRAKE PEDAL AND FELT A VIBRATION IN THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND REPLACED THE BRAKE PADS AND THE ROTORS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE APPROXIMATELY EIGHT MONTHS AFTER HE REPLACED THE BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS. THE TECHNICIANS INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND STATED THAT THE BRAKE PADS, ROTORS AND CALIPERS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS A DEFECT IN THE CALIPERS BECAUSE THE BRAKE PADS SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE REPLACED THAT OFTEN. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,000.
2008 HONDA ACCORD SEDAN. WHILE DRIVING IN A STEADY RAIN AT 55 MPH AND ABOVE THE RAIN WATER COLLECTS ON THE WINDSHIELD NEAR THE DRIVER'S SIDE A-FRAME PILLAR. THE WINDSHIELD WIPER REMOVES THE WATER FROM THE WINDSHIELD BUT BECAUSE OF THE DESIGN OF THE A-FRAME PILLAR IT ALLOWS THE RAIN WATER TO RETURN TO ABOUT 1/4 OF THE DRIVER'S VIEWING AREA THUS OBSTRUCTING THE VIEW UNTIL THE WIPER RETURNS TO REMOVE THE WATER. THIS PROCESS CONTINUES UNTIL EITHER THE RAIN LETS UP OR SPEED IS REDUCED. HAVING THIS OBSTRUCTED VIEW IS A HAZARD FOR THE DRIVER. I WAS TOLD BY THE SALESPERSON WHEN I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE THE A-FRAME PILLAR WAS REDESIGNED SO THAT WIND WOULD BE FUNNELED AWAY FROM THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER FRONT SIDE WINDOWS BUT THIS REDESIGN DOES NOT ALLOW WATER TO BE COMPLETELY REMOVED FROM THE WINDSHIELD. I HAVE ALSO EXPERIENCED THIS HAZARD AT OTHER TIMES THAN THE NOVEMBER 29, 2008 INCIDENT. *TR
AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, A HEAD ON ACCIDENT GOING AT 40 MPH HIT A CAR GOING 45 MPH. MY BUMPER IN THE FRONT WAS PULLED OFF AND THE HOOD IS BENT BUT NO AIRBAGS WENT OFF. *TR
REAR BRAKE PADS ON2008 HONDA ACCORD WORN OUT CAUSING WORN BRAKE INDICATOR TO CONTACT REAR BRAKE DISC CAUSING ROTOR DAMAGE AFTER ONLY 14,000 MILE ON ODOMETER. HONDA DEALER SAID THAT IT WAS NORMAL BRAKE PAD WEAR, HOWEVER THE FRONT BRAKE PAD WAS NOT WORN AT ALL. EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT THE FRONT BRAKES WEAR DOWN MUCH FASTER THAN THE REAR BRAKES PADS. I HAD HONDA CHANGE THE BRAKE PAD SINCE I NEEDED THE CAR BACK ON THE ROAD QUICKLY. FAST FORWARD TO THE NEXT YEAR-I CHECKED THE BRAKE MYSELF AND FOUND THE REAR BRAKES WORN OUT AGAIN. THE WEAR PATTERN ON THE REAR BRAKE PAD IS VERY UNEVEN. ONE SIDE IS COMPLETELY WORN DOWN WHILE THE OTHER EDGE OF THE SAME PAD IS NOT WORN AT ALL. THIS LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW OF THE BRAKE SYSTEM,NOT THE BRAKE PAD. I HAVE REPLACED 4 SETS OF REAR BRAKE PAD ON MY 2008 ACCORD SO FAR. I HAVE TRIED USING DIFFERENT AFTERMARKET BRAKE PADS TO NO AVAIL. I HOPE THIS COMPLAINT GET HEARD BY HONDA. MANY MAD HONDA OWNER ARE OUT THERE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE REAR BRAKE PROBLEM. *TR
2008 HONDA ACCORD LXP CURRENTLY HAS 17000 MILES. I AM HAVING 3 ISSUES: 0 MILES TO CURRENT MILES: HEADLIGHTS POWER SURGE OR "FLICKER" WHEN A/C IS ENGAGED EVERY 30 SECONDS-45 SECOND. THIS IS VERY DISTRACTING WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT. HONDA TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THIS IS NORMAL BECAUSE CAR IS ENGINEERED TO "SAVE POWER" BY DOING THIS SO NO EXCESSIVE STRAIN IS PUT ON ALTERNATOR. 9750 MILES: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM HAD TO BE EVACUATED OF FREON AND RECHARGED DUE TO CONTAMINATION OF COOLANT. AIR CONDITIONING STILL FUNCTIONS VERY POORLY AND INTERMITTENTLY BLOWS WARM AIR/COLD AIR AS IT DID BEFORE. HONDA STATES AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FUNCTIONS PER SPECS. 12500 MILES- REAR BRAKE PADS REQUIRED REPLACEMENT DUE TO PREMATURE WEAR. CAR IS CAREFULLY DRIVEN AND MAINTAINED AND I'VE NEVER HAD TO REPLACE BRAKES THIS EARLY ON A VEHICLE. DEALER COST $154. *TR
I PURCHASED A 2008 HONDA ACCORD EXL AUTOMATIC V6 IN SEPTEMBER 2007. ON NOV 14, 2008 THE DEALERSHIP INFORMS ME THAT THE REAR BRAKES ARE WORN DOWN TO THE ROTORS AND NEED TO BE REPLACED AT 29-30,000 MILES. NEVER HAVE I REPLACED BREAKS THIS SOON ON A NEW VEHICLE. THE MECHANIC INFORMED ME THAT SEVERAL PEOPLE WITH THIS SAME VEHICLE HAVE EXPERIENCED SIMILAR PROBLEMS, AND HAVE REPLACED THEIRS WITH LESS MILES. I AM ALSO INFORMED THAT THIS IS WEAR AND TEAR WHICH IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. AFTER RESEARCHING IT ON THE WEB, THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHERS WITH THE SAME ISSUE. THE BRAKE PADS PLACED ON THESE VEHICLE NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED FURTHER. *TR

I HAVE A 2008 HONDA ACCORD LX. WHEN AIR CONDITIONER COMPRESSOR CYCLES THE LIGHTS DIM AND THEN GO BACK TO NORMAL AS IF YOU WERE FLASHING YOUR HEADLIGHTS. TOOK TO DEALER AND I WAS TOLD HONDA IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM BUT HAS NO PLANS OF A FIX. ALSO THE TRANSMISSION HAS A WHINE AT SLOW SPEED. I TOOK SERVICE MANAGER FOR TEST DRIVE. HE KEPT THE CAR OVER NIGHT AND GAVE ME A RENTAL HE ACKNOWLEDGED BOTH PROBLEMS AND ANSWER WAS THE SAME FOR BOTH. ??????????????? *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH ON NORMAL ROAD CONDITIONS, THE FRONT AND REAR PASSENGER AIR BAGS BECAME EXPOSED FROM THE OUTER COVERING. THERE WAS NO DEPLOYMENT. THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND REMAINED LIT UNTIL THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR INSPECTION AND THEY STATED THAT THE AIR BAGS WERE FALLING OUT OF THE HEADLINER. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,500 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 7,256.
2008 ACCORD I4 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION LX PROBLEM, LIGHTS DIM AND BLOWER FOR HEATER/DEFROST SLOWS. IT OCCURS EVERY 20 TO 25 SECONDS. THE CHANGE IN THE BLOWER FOR THE HEATER/DEFROST IS SUCH THAT IT SOUNDS AS IF YOU TURNED THE BLOWER SPEED DOWN SIGNIFICANTLY AND THEN TURNED IT BACK UP. AT THE SAME TIME THE LIGHTS DIM SIGNIFICANTLY. I HAVE READ MANY POSTS HERE OF LIGHTS DIMMING WITH THE A/C RUNNING AND THAT HONDA SAYS THIS IS NORMAL. THIS IS DANGEROUS BECAUSE OF THE EYE STRAIN CAUSED BY THE LIGHTS DIMMING AND THEN BRIGHTENING OVER AND OVER AGAIN. *TR

SOME SORT OF ELECTRICAL PROBLEM IS OCCURRING AND CAUSES THE HEADLIGHTS TO DIM AND FLUCTUATE ERRATICALLY. THE SOUND IN THE STEREO ALSO GETS LOWER OFTEN TIMES AND I WONDER IF THIS TIES INTO THE HEADLIGHTS PROBLEM. THROUGH RESEARCH, THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT THIS WAS A COMMON ISSUE AND BELIEVES THAT A RECALL SHOULD BE ISSUED BY THE MANUFACTURER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 28,000.
2008 ACCORD COUPE PURCHASED 3 MONTHS AGO, 4800 MILES; WHINING SOUND THAT WORSENED OVER A WEEK. POWER STEERING FLUID LEVEL WELL BELOW THE LOWEST ACCEPTABLE LEVEL. REPLACED WITH HONDA POWER STEERING FLUID. NO SIGNS OF LEAKAGE UNDER CAR. THE HONDA SERVICE DEPARTMENT EXAMINED THE CAR TODAY AND SAYS THE STEERING RACK MUST BE REPLACED. THEY CONFIRMED THAT HONDA WILL COVER ALL CHARGES. NOT WHAT I EXPECTED OF MY FIRST HONDA. *TR

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA ACCORD. TWO WEEKS AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED, THE CONTACT HEARD A SCREECHING SOUND WHEN SHE APPLIED THE BRAKES AT 15 MPH. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE NOISE WAS NORMAL DUE TO THE MATERIAL USED FOR THE BRAKES AND THAT THE SOUND WOULD EVENTUALLY GO AWAY. THE BRAKES AND PADS ON THE VEHICLE WERE COMPLETELY WORN OUT AT 8,000 MILES; HOWEVER, NO BRAKE FAILURE HAS OCCURRED. THE SCREECHING NOISES COMING FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE NEVER CEASED. THE CONTACT CAN CURRENTLY HEAR THE NOISE EVEN WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL IS NOT BEING DEPRESSED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE REAR BRAKE LINING ON THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE WAS DOWN TWO MILLIMETERS, WHICH MEANT THAT NEW REAR BRAKES WERE NEEDED. THE CONTACT ALSO BELIEVES THAT THE BRAKES WERE STUCK ON THE CALIPERS, CAUSING THE BRAKE PADS TO WEAR MORE QUICKLY THEN THEY SHOULD. THIS WOULD MEAN THAT THE FAILURE WAS DUE TO A MANUFACTURER DEFECT. THE CONTACT BELIEVES THAT THE VEHICLE SHOULD NOT BE EXPERIENCING BRAKE ISSUES AT SUCH A LOW MILEAGE. SHE SPOKE WITH THE MANUFACTURER AND THEY REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE ANY FAILURE OR PROVIDE ASSISTANCE WITH THE REPAIRS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 8,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 20,000. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL BEGAN TO VIBRATE HEAVILY AND SHAKE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, BUT THEY HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THEY HAVE ROTATED THE TIRES AND ALSO REPLACED THEM; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE STILL PERSISTS. SHE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO MICHELIN NTB AND, AFTER A TEST DRIVE, THEY STATED THAT THE FAILURE COULD STEM FROM THE SUSPENSION OR TRANSMISSION. MICHELIN COULD NOT DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE AS WELL. THE CONTACT BELIEVES THAT A CRASH COULD OCCUR BECAUSE SHE IS UNABLE TO CONTROL THE STEERING AT HIGH SPEEDS. PREMATURE WEAR ON BRAKES ON 2008 HONDA ACCORD. PURCHASED CAR IN 2007 AND HAVE HAD TO REPLACE BRAKES IN 2008 & 2009 WITH LESS THAN 30K MILES ON IT. BRAKES ARE $200+ TO BE REPLACED AND SQUEAL AND SQUEAK EVEN AFTER REPLACING. BRAKES ARE OF POOR QUALITY AND NEED TO BE RECALLED AND REPLACED BY HONDA MOTOR CORPORATION. *TR
HONDA RECALL. MY CAR FOR SOME REASON WAS COVERED UNDER THE POWER TRANSMISSION RECALL EVEN THOUGH MY CAR IS EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEM AND CODES OTHER 2008 HONDA ACCORD WERE THE SAME YEAR. MY OIL IS GOING FASTER THEN I CAN PUT IT IN. IT DOESN'T LAST A WHOLE MONTH. I HAVE NO OIL LEAKS IN MY CAR AT ALL WHAT SO EVER. ITS DAMAGING MY ENGINE BECAUSE I HAD NO CLUE IT WAS BURNING THE OIL THAT FAST. IT'S NOT FAIR THEY ONLY COVER SOME 2008 HONDA ACCORD. WHEN THEY ALREADY WERE SUED BECAUSE IF IT.
HEADLINER HAD TO BE REPLACED ON MY 2008 ACCORD LX BECAUSE RAW EDGES WERE SHOWING AT WEATHER STRIPPING ON ALL DOORS. ORIGINAL DEALER HAD CAR ALL DAY FOR REPAIR. THREE DAYS LATER, THE DRIVER SIDE SUN VISOR FELL ON MY HEAD WHILE DRIVING ON THE PARKWAY AT HIGH SPEED (KNOCKED OFF MY GLASSES). THIS COULD HAVE CAUSED AN ACCIDENT SINCE I SWERVED AFTER VISOR HIT ME. WENT TO DIFFERENT DEALER FOR REPAIR AND IT TOOK TWO TRIES BEFORE THEY ATTACHED VISOR PROPERLY. THEY ADMITTED THAT 2008 ACCORDS NOW USE PLASTIC LATCH INSTEAD OF 2 SCREWS (CIVICS STILL USE SCREWS), SO IT BREAKS EASILY. HONDA SHOULD ACKNOWLEDGE AND CHANGE BACK TO THE METAL SCREWS. THE PLEASANT ATTITUDE THAT HONDA IS FAMOUS FOR IS MISSING. *TR
MAKE : HONDA MODEL : ACCORD MODEL YEAR 2008 OTHER ESSENTIAL INFORMATION - I WANT TO BRING TO YOUR ATTENTION THAT THE INSIDE OF THE HONDA ALLOY WHEELS ARE NOT SEALED OR PAINTED FROM THE FACTORY. THE WHEEL IS ALREADY CORRODING THE ALUMINUM WITH PITS WITH METAL MISSING. AFTER 2 MORE WINTERS THE SALT ON THE ROADS WILL DANGEROUSLY WEAKEN THE WHEEL STRENGTH LEADING TO FAILURE AT SPEED. THIS IS A REAL HIDDEN DANGER THAT I THOUGHT SHOULD BE LOOKED INTO SINCE HONDA DEALER SEES NO PROBLEM WITH THE CORRODING ALUMINUM. IF THE WHEELS WHERE SIMPLY PAINTED OR CLEAR COATED FROM THE FACTORY ON THE INSIDE LIKE THEY ARE ON THE OUTSIDE THEN THIS WOULD NOT BE BECOME THE HIDDEN DANGER THIS TYPE OF WHEEL WILL PRESENT TO THE UNSUSPECTING PUBLIC. *TR

2008 HONDA ACCORD EX-L V6 BOUGHT AUGUST 2008, BRAKES STARTED SQUEALING AFTER 6,000 MILES. CAR CURRENTLY HAS ROUGHLY 11,000 MILES ON IT. HAVE HAD INTO DEALERSHIP MORE THAN THREE TIMES TO RECTIFY THE BRAKE SQUEALING. HONDA CLAIMS THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO. FIND OTHERS ON THE INTERNET WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. COME TO FIND OUT IT IS PREMATURE BRAKE WEAR ON THE REAR BRAKE PADS. HONDA CORPORATE SAYS THAT THEY AND I ARE AT AN IMPASSE AND THEY WON'T DO ANYTHING. IN A NUTSHELL, I'LL BE REPLACING BRAKE PADS EVERY 12,000 MILES JUST TO MAINTAIN A SAFE VEHICLE! NO DEATHS YET, BUT I WON'T LET MY 8 MONTH OLD BABY IN THE CAR ANYMORE FOR FEAR THAT IF MY BRAKES DO FAIL, I DON'T WANT HER TO BE INJURED. *TR

THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT THE REAR BRAKES WERE WORN PREMATURELY. THE BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS WERE REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED 20,000 MILES AND SIX MONTHS LATER. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY IN THE SHOP HAVING THE BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS REPLACED AGAIN. IT HAPPENS EVERYTIME THE COMPRESSOR KICKS ON. I ASKED MY DEALER ABOUT IT AT A REGULAR SERVICE INTERVAL AND WAS TOLD THAT WAS NORMAL FOR ACCORDS. IT IS VERY DISTRACTING WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING AT NIGHT AND YOUR HEADLIGHTS ARE CONSTANTLY DIMMING/FLICKERING. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA ACCORD. AS SHE WAS DRIVING 45 MPH THERE WAS A GRINDING NOISE WHEN SHIFTING FROM SECOND TO THIRD GEAR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THEY FOUND THE THIRD GEAR GRIND SYNCO WAS WORN OUT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED IN REGARDS TO ANY OF THESE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000.

THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE WHEN DRIVING ON A DARK ROAD AT NIGHT AS ONE'S EYES NATURALLY LOOK AWAY FROM THE ROAD FOR ABOUT A SECOND-- ENOUGH TIME TO BE DANGEROUS. I COMPLAINED TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAID ALL VEHICLES DO THIS. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ANY VEHICLE DOING THIS. I ASKED WHEN THE SERVICE BULLETIN WOULD BE COMING OUT, ASSUMING THERE IS ONE IN THE WORKS GIVEN THE WIDESPREAD ISSUE, BUT THE SERVICE WRITER IGNORED MY COMMENT. I HAD TO LITERALLY DEMAND THAT THE DEALER WRITE MY COMPLAINT ON THE REPAIR ORDER, AND AT THE END, WITH MY REPAIR ORDER, THE CLERK HANDED ME AN ARTICLE TRYING TO EXPLAIN AWAY THE ISSUE OR PACIFY ME. (IT WAS A HONDA ARTICLE, WHICH LOOKED LIKE IT WAS FROM A REPAIR MANUAL OR BROCHURE, WHICH STATED THAT BASICALLY, IF THE CUSTOMER COMPLAINED TO TELL THEM ITS NORMAL.) IN "AUTO" CLIMATE MODE, THE AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR/FAN KICKS ON EVERY 30 SECONDS (EVEN IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER) AND THE LIGHTS SEEM TO FLASH AT THAT TIME. ALSO,THE STEERING PUMP MAKES A VERY LOUD WHINING/MOANING NOISE AT 1500-2000 RPMS, AND THE STEERING IN THE VEHICLE HAS A SHUTTLING/SLIPPING SENSATION IN THE STEERING WHEEL UPON TURNING. THE DEALER CONFIRMED THE STEERING ISSUE AND HAS ORDERED A NEW POWER STEERING PUMP WHICH WILL HOPEFULLY REMEDY THE ISSUE. FINALLY, THE DRIVER'S DOOR HANDLE, INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR, DOES NOT OPEN THE DOOR ON OCCASION. THIS IS ALSO A SAFETY ISSUE AS BEING ABLE TO EXIT THE VEHICLE IN EMERGENCY IS CRITICAL. FOR SUCH A HIGHLY TOUTED VEHICLE MANUFACTURER, HONDA NEEDS TO WORK ON FIXING PROBLEMS WITH THEIR CARS ON THE ROAD AND FINDING A RESOLUTION, NOT JUST THEIR REPUTATION AND/OR THEIR BOTTOM LINE. I BOUGHT 2008 HONDA 2008 IN FEB 2008, REPLACED REAR PADS IN OCT 2008 AT 22,000 MILES. I SPOKE W/ SERVICE DEPARTMENT WHERE I BOUGHT MY CAR. HE TOLD ME THEY ARE HAVING ALOT OF PROBLEMS W/ THE 2008 ACCORD'S REAR BRAKES AND THAT IT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. HAD TO BUY NEW PADS FROM DEALER (B/C NO AFTERMARKETS WERE AVAILABLE). IN SEP 2009, SQUEAKING FROM THE REAR BRAKES AGAIN, REAR PADS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AT 41,000 MILES. WENT TO DEALERSHIP AGAIN TO COMPLAIN, SERVICE MANAGER SAID THAT THEY WERE AN INDEPENDENT FRANCHISE AND THAT HONDA WOULD HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF MY PROBLEM. HE ALSO STATED THAT HONDA WAS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND THEY WERE RESEARCHING THE PROBLEM. CALLED HONDA CORPORATION AND THE CASE INVESTIGATOR SAID THE EXACT SAME THING AS THE SERVICE MANAGER. I WENT TO THE NHTSA WEB SITE AND SAW THAT I AM NOT ALONE. IT APPEARS THAT HONDA AND ITS EMPLOYEES ARE TOWING THE COMPANY LINE AND STONEWALLING THE CONSUMER, BECAUSE IT WILL COST THEM MONEY AND HURT THEIR REPUTATION. THE NHTSA NEEDS TO FORCE HONDA TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND FIX THE PROBLEM BEFORE SOMEONE IS INJURED OR EVEN WORSE, KILLED. THESE ARE BRAKES, THE MOST IMPORTANT SAFETY DEVICE ON ANY CAR. *TR

THE CONTACT STATED THE BRAKES FAILED WITHOUT WARNING MAKING IT DIFFICULT FOR THE VEHICLE TO STOP. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND REIMBURSED HALF OF WHAT WAS SPENT ON REPAIRS. THE LAST TIME THE FAILURE OCCURRED THE BRAKES WERE REPAIRED BUT THE ROTORS WERE NOT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 300.
THIS VEHICLE'S HEADLIGHTS DROP IN INTENSITY APPROXIMATELY EVERY 20 SECONDS. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU ARE IDLING OR GOING 70 MPH. THIS CAUSES AN UNSAFE LOSS OF LIGHTING AND FORWARD VISION WHILE UTILIZING THE HEADLIGHTS DURING NIGHT TIME DRIVING. IT ALSO APPEARS TO OTHER DRIVERS AS IF YOU ARE FLASHING YOUR LIGHTS AT THEM. I HAVE NUMEROUS HONDA VEHICLES AND NONE OF THEM DO THIS. I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY THE DEALER THAT THIS IS A NORMAL FUNCTION OF THE LIGHTS. I DO NOT NOTICE IT WHEN THE BRIGHT LIGHTS ARE ON. THE DECREASE IN LIGHT INTENSITY IS CONSISTENT WHEN THE RADIATOR FAN KICKS ON, DRAWING POWER.

BUT STILL CANNOT GET ANYONE TO LISTEN TO ME THAT THE SUNVISOR CONSTANTLY FALLING- AGAIN, FROM ALMOST DAY ONE - IS IN FACT, A SAFETY ISSUE, OR EVEN GET THEM TO FIX THIS!
