TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TRACTION CONTROL, TPMS, SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED. ADDITIONALLY, THE FORWARD COLLISION WARNING AND LANE DEPARTURE WARNING MESSAGES WERE DISPLAYED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AUTONATION HONDA ROSEVILLE (230 AUTOMALL DR, ROSEVILLE, CA 95661, (866)984-4756) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH NEEDING VEHICLE STABILITY ASSIST MODULE TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 130,000.
THE CAR WONT START INTERMITTENTLY. YOU HEAR A CLICKING SOUND WHEN TRYING TO START. AFTER WAITING FOR FEW MINUTES AND TRY AGAIN IT WILL START AND THE PROBLEM COMES BACK AGAIN.
THE CAR HAS INTERMITTENTLY HAD A NO CRANK START PROBLEM FOR THE PAST SIX MONTHS. I THOUGHT IT WAS DUE TO A FAILING BATTERY BUT THAT WAS REPLACED AND THE PROBLEM HAS PROGRESSIVELY WORSENED. IT WILL EVENTUALLY START AS OF NOW. ACCORDING TO GOOGLE, THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE ACCORD THAT WILL EVENTUALLY LEAD TO IT NOT STARTING AT ALL AND A COSTLY REPAIR THAT MAY OR MAY NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM. THIS HAS HAPPENED WHILE PARKED.
The contact owns a 2014 Honda Accord. Upon investigation, the contact discovered that the engine was consuming approximately 2 quarts of oil in between oil changes. The contact called the dealer where the vehicle was bought however, there was no response. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed him that there was no recall on the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.
MY 2014 HONDA ACCORD COUPE EX-L V6 HAS 58.000 MILES. I RECENTLY HAD MY STARTER REPLACED AND TORQUE CONVERTER ADJUSTED. I WAS INFORMED THAT THIS IS A ISSUE HONDA IS AWARE OF AND HAS CREATED A BULLETIN (16-002). THIS APPEARS TO BE A COMMON ISSUE, AND WHY WOULDN'T THERE BE A RECALL ISSUED. IT'S CLEAR THIS IS A MANUFACTURING AND EQUIPMENT ISSUE IN ACCORD V6 2013-2016 AND CROSSTOUR V6 2013-15. WHY IS THE REPAIR AT THE CONSUMERS COST INSTEAD OF HONDA?
WHILE DRIVING ON THE EXPRESSWAY 08-18-2020 3 LIGHTS APPEARED OUT OF NOWHERE ON THE DASHBOARD, THE TPMS, ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING & VEHICLE STABILITY ASSIST WARNING LIGHTS. MY CHILD & I FELT THE VEHICLE SWERVE & I MANAGE NOT TO HIT A CEMENT WALL OR ONCOMING TRAFFIC, BUT INSTANTANEOUSLY NOTICED MY VEHICLE FELT DIFFERENT. AFTER JUST HAVING A 21-PT INSPECTION AT JOHN EAGLE HOUSTON & PAYING ALMOST 1,000 FOR FRONT & REAR BRAKE PADS & OTHER MECHANICAL ISSUES, SURELY I WOULD'VE THOUGHT THE DEALERSHIP COULD'VE TOLD ME THIS OR WARNED ME IT WAS GOING TO FAIL. ANYWAYS, AFTER REPLACING ALL 4 TIRES, I THOUGHT THIS WOULD ERADICATE THE ISSUE, BUT IT DIDN'T. I TOOK IT BACK TO JOHN EAGLE HOUSTON, ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT THE YAW RITE WENT OUT. I READ UP ON THIS BEFORE HEADING TO THE DEALERSHIP & DURING THE 2 HOUR WAIT & ACCORDING TO CARCOMPLAINT.COM & NHTSA THEY'RE MANY 2014 HONDA ACCORD OWNERS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS SAME ISSUE & HAVE PAID OVER $1,500+ TO FIX THIS & THE WORST PART IS THE PART IS ON BACKORDER & WON'T BE IN FOR 2 MONTHS! SO, YOU HAVE FAULTY CARS ON THE ROADS THAT CAN POSSIBLY INJURE PEOPLE. HONDA WILL HAVE BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS! THIS IS CLEARLY A SAFETY RECALL, BUT I KNOW NOT GUESS REVENUE IS MORE IMPERATIVE THAN HUMAN LIFE! WHAT WILL IT TAKE? PREVENTIVE DEATH? THIS CAN BE PREVENTED, THERE'S STILL TIME. EVERYONE DOESN'T HAVE THE MONEY & THOSE WHO DON'T WILL JUST RIDE WITH THEIR DASHBOARD'S LIGHTS LIT LIKE THE MONTH OF DECEMBER. THIS IS HORRIBLE.
There are thousands for Honda Accord owners who bought model 2014 onwards have engine oil burning issue and mostly they ask to replace PCV Valve which does not make any difference even though you replace it or not. There are so many YouTube videos on it. I am also facing same issue. I bought used pre owned car , if I knew this issue I would have never bought that car. I have to change engine oil after every 1500 miles. Normally it’s best to replace engine oil after 3000-5000 miles. I will request NHTSA to take some action against Honda. It’s not for just my safety it’s about safety for all Honda Accord owners. Please do something
THE EPS,BRAKE, AND ABS LIGHTS CAME ON WHEN I STARTED THE CAR AND WOULD NOT GO OFF. WE TOOK THE CAR TO OUR MECHANIC WHO AFTER DOING DIAGNOSTICS TOLD US WE NEED TO TAKE OUR CAR TO A HONDA DEALER AND NOT DRIVE ANY MORE THAN WE HAD TO FOR SAFETY REASONS. THE DEALER DETERMINED IT WAS THE VSA MODULATOR AND COST $1788.78 TO REPAIR. REALLY DISGUSTED WITH HONDA AS I READ ONLINE WHERE THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL OTHER HONDA OWNERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM YET THERE IS STILL NO RECALL ON THIS PROBLEM!
WHILE DRIVING TO WORK ABS, VBS AND STEERING LIGHTS ALL COME ON AT SAME TIME. BROUGHT INTO THE DEALER SHIP AS A SAFETY ISSUE. VEHICLE HAD APPROXIMATELY 103,000 MILES. DEALER RAN DIAGNOSTICS AND RESET SENSORS, SAID IT COULD BE A BAD MODULE IN THE BRAKE SYSTEM WOULD COST $1800 TO REPLACE. DROVE CAR FOR 2 DAYS ALL LIGHTS CAME BACK ON. QUESTIONED DEALER ABOUT MODULE AND HOW COMMON REPLACEMENT WAS. THEY SAID NEVER REPLACE THEM. RESEARCHED THE ISSUE AND FOUND THAT IT IS VERY COMMON AND CAUSES MANY ISSUES, DEALER/ MANUFACTURER KNOWS OF ISSUE AND REFUSES TO CORRECT ISSUE IN CARS WITH MUCH LESS MILES. COMPLAINED TO DEALER WITH NO RESPONSE.
The contact owns a 2014 Honda Accord. The contact stated while driving 40 MPH, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended while depressing the accelerator pedal. Additionally, the vehicle jerked and unexpectedly downshifted. The steering wheel warning light, check engine warning light, ABS, and TPS warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the high-pressure fuel pump had failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact then took the vehicle to the dealer; however, no cause for the failure was found. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The contact stated that the failure had occurred several years ago, and the steering wheel seized. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 79,000.
WAS HIT IN REAR ON 7/18.2020.WHEN MY HEAD HIT HEAD REST THE HEAD REST WENT UP TO HIGHEST POSITION. MY HEAD HIT AGAIN AND HIT METAL BARS.THE HEADREST IS NOW STUCK IN HIGHEST POSITION.I WAS STATIONARY STOPPED AT STOPLIGHT ON CITY STREET
WE HAVE AN INTERMITTENT PROBLEM WITH THE CAR STARTING. WE FOUND AN ONLINE THREAD ON THE SUBJECT WITH WORKAROUND TRICKS. SOMETIMES PUTTING THE CAR IN NEUTRAL AND STARTING IT FROM THERE WORKS, BUT NOT CONSISTENTLY. WHAT WORKS MOST OFTEN IS TURN KEY ONE NOTCH, WAIT 3 SECONDS, TURN AGAIN AND WAIT UNTIL LIGHTS GO AWAY, THEN AGAIN AND THEN IT STARTS. WHAT IS THIS ISSUE? IS THERE A RECALL THAT CAN FIX THIS ISSUE?
SAME ISSUE AS CASE #11339806 EXCEPT MY 2014 ACCORD'S PUSH-BUTTON STARTER FAILED AT LESS THAN 72,000 MILES. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THIS MODEL YEAR, TSB MC-10100621-6340. COST OF REPAIR OVER $900. THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL.
I HAVE A 2014 HONDA ACCORD V-6 EXL. THE CAR INTERMITTENTLY WILL NOT START. THE PROBLEM APPEARS TO BE BECOMING MORE FREQUENT. BATTERY HAS BEEN REPLACED. IT TAKES SEVERAL ATTEMPTS AFTER PRESSING THE STARTER BUTTON. FOR LACK OF A BETTER TERM IT SOUNDS LIKE AND ELECTRICAL WHINE. THIS OCCURS SOMETIMES AT THE FIRST START-UP OR WHILE OUT AND ABOUT RUNNING ERRANDS.HAS BEEN ONGOING FOR APPROXIMATELY 8 MONTHS. THIS CAR WAS PURCHASED NEW IN JULY 2014. I AM THE ONLY QWNEROF THIS VEHICLE. IT HAS 5500 MILES AND IS KEPT IN THE GARAGE.
I HAVE 4 WARNING LIGHTS ON THE DASH BRAKE,TRACTION,STEERING AND TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHTS. I WAS TOLD THAT IT HAS TO DUE WITH A FAULTY ABS CONTROL MODULE. THE PART HAS BEEN SOLD OUT FOR SOME TIME. WHEN I TALKED TO THE GENTLEMAN AT THE SHOP HE TOLD ME THAT A LOT PEOPLE HAVE BEEN HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THIS. THE LIGHT ARE ALWAYS ON THE CAR DRIVES FINE BUT I'M WORRIED BECAUSE IT CONTROLS ALL OF THE SAFETY ASSOCIATED WITH THE CAR.
VEHICLE'S BRAKES AND CALIPERS SEIZED UP WHILE DRIVING - UPON REPORTING TO THE DEALER, THEY ADVISED THIS WAS A KNOWN AND COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE. BOTH REAR CALIPERS FAILED AT THE SAME TIME, NEARLY CAUSING A FIRE. VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED TO LOCAL DEALER FOR SAFETY
WHEN I TURN ON THE ENGINE, THE CAR DASHBOARD LIGHT KEEPS SHOWING FAILED IN MOST OF THE SYSTEMS. IT IS JUST LIKE A CHRISTMAS TREE!
2014 ACCORD SUDDENLY HAD ISSUES STARTING. PUSH BUTTON START PRODUCES NO CRANK, NO ATTEMPT TO START. ALL DASHBOARD LIGHTS COME ON, RADIO, HEADLIGHTS WORK. NEXT TRY STARTED IT PROPERLY. ISSUE THEN HAPPENS MORE FREQUENTLY AND IT TAKES MORE AND MORE ATTEMPTS TO START. BRAND NEW BATTERY. NO ERROR CODE / CHECK MOTOR LIGHT. ALL YOU CAN DO IS WAIT AND KEEP TRYING TO START IT. . HIGH SCHOOL AGED DAUGHTER CAN NO LONGER DRIVE THE CAR AS WE CANNOT HAVE HER STRANDED SOMEWHERE WHEN THE CAR DOES NOT START. FOR ALL OF US IN THE FAMILY, THE CAR IMMEDIATELY BECAME UNRELIABLE AND A RISK SINCE I HAVE STRONG CONCERNS ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THE VEHICLE WHEN DRIVING AS WELL SINCE EVERYTHING WITH THE OPERATION RELIES ON THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TO FUNCTION PROPERLY.. AT THE HONDA DEALERSHIP, I REPRODUCED THE ISSUE. DID NOT START ON 3 OF 5 ATTEMPTS. SERVICE TECH DIAGNOSIS WAS "POSSIBLE BAD STARTER". NO WAY A STARTER SHOULD GO BAD ON A 2014 THAT IS WELL CARED FOR AND NOT USED EXTENSIVELY. THE SOLUTION OFFERED WAS FOR ME TO PAY $900 FOR SOMETHING THAT "MIGHT" FIX THE ISSUE. THEY CLAIMED TO NOT BE AWARE OF THE ASTRONOMICALLY HIGH NUMBER OF 2014 ACCORDS WITH THIS ISSUE, DESPITE MANY, MANY OTHERS WHO HAVE REPORTED THIS ISSUE. GOOGLE AUTO-COMPLETE SUGGESTS "STARTER ISSUES" AS SOON AS YOU ENTER "2014 HONDA ACCORD".IN THE SEARCH BOX BECAUSE IT'S ONE OF THE MOST COMMON ENTRIES. THE 2013 ACCORDS GOT RECALLED FOR FAULTY STARTER. THE 2014 ACCORD ALREADY HAD A RECALL FOR BATTERY HOUSING. THERE CLEARLY IS A DEFECTIVE ELECTRICAL ISSUE WITH THIS VEHICLE. THE EXTENT OF WHICH AND THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH IT ARE UNKNOWN. IT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED PERMANENTLY BY HONDA TO GET THE VEHICLE IN THE PROPER STATE WHERE IT CAN BE STARTED WHENEVER AND WHEREVER THE OPERATOR IS (DAY OR NIGHT) AND WHERE THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM IS PROVEN SAFE FOR ALL IN THE VEHICLE. *TR
I HAVE A 2014 HONDA ACCORD 2.4L EX-L WITH ONLY 40,000 MILES. ABOUT TWO MONTHS AGO, I STARTED EXPERIENCING AN INTERMITTENT STARTING PROBLEM WITH THE PUSH START BUTTON. WHEN I DEPRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL AND PUSH THE START BUTTON, ALL OF MY 'NORMAL' DASH LIGHTS COME ON AS IF I PUT IT IN START MODE AND I HEAR ONE CLICK, BUT THE ENGINE DOES NOT TURN OVER. WHILE THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN ALL THE TIME, IT HAPPENS MORE THAN IT STARTS ON THE FIRST TRY. WHEN THIS HAPPENS, IT CAN TAKE BETWEEN 2-6 TRIES BEFORE IT FINALLY STARTS. I REPLACED THE BATTERY 6 MONTHS AGO, BUT THE ISSUE CAME RECENTLY AND IS STILL ONGOING. I HAD THE ALTERNATOR AND STARTER BOTH TESTED BY NUMEROUS PLACES AND BOTH ARE TESTING GOOD.
BEEN HAVING ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS SINCE WE GOT THE CAR. YEAR 3 WE NEEDED NEW STARTER, NEW BACK UP CAMERA. THIS YEAR DRIVER'S WINDOW WOULD WORK ONLY WORK SOME OF THE TIME. IN JUNE WHEN I STARTED ALL THE DASHBOARD LIGHTS CAME ON WITH ABS SYSTEM POWER FAILURE WARNING. IT WOULD GO ON AND OFF AS I DROVE. THEN THE CAR STARTED JERKING AS IT WAS DRIVEN AND FINALLY STAYED ON AND WAS ON EVERYTIME WE STARTED. NEEDS A NEW MODULATOR-CONTROL UNIT WHICH IS $1,400 AND HAS BEEN BACKORDERED SINCE MID JUNE. HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE CAR, AND I CAN'T RENEW REGISTRATION BECAUSE IT WON'T PASS VA SAFETY INSPECTION.
Electric power steering keeps going out randomly. Sometimes for days sometimes I can restart it. Already had it into Honda they said they fixed a broken harness wire; tried charging me $900 for that I got it reduced to $600. Still having power steering issues. It some kind of electrical problem I think. Really dangerous to drive. Also not as random to have the fcw/ldw system go out.

WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE AT LOW SPEEDS ON CITY STREETS THE ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING, VEHICLE STABILITY ASSIST, FORWARD COLLISION WARNING, ANTILOCK BRAKING SYSTEM, LANE DEPARTURE WARNING AND PARKING BRAKE INDICATOR LIGHTS ALL ACTIVATED. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO MY MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED A FAULTY VSA MODULATOR CONTROL UNIT, HONDA PART # 57110-T2G-L02. WHEN WE ATTEMPTED TO ORDER THE PART WE WERE INFORMED THAT THE PART IS BACKORDERED WITH NO EXPECTED RELEASE DATE. THAT WAS JUNE 2, 2020. TODAY IS JUNE 22, 2020 AND I CALLED HONDA AGAIN WITH THE SAME RESULT. I BELIEVE THE WARNING INDICATORS ARE ACCURATELY COMMUNICATING THAT THESE SAFETY SYSTEMS ARE OFFLINE AND AM NOT DRIVING THE VEHICLE UNTIL I CAN REPAIR IT. IT SEEMS UNREASONABLE AND UNSAFE THAT HONDA CANNOT PROVIDE A REPLACEMENT FOR SUCH A CRUCIAL SAFETY-RELATED PART. *TR
Several months ago, my Honda that has run very well up until now, started having problems with starting. I took it to Advance Auto and they thought it was the battery so I bought a new battery for over $200. That didn’t help. Then my husband noticed that the dashboard showed to push the brake, gas pedal and starter at the same time. That didn’t really help because sometimes it starts and sometimes doesn’t. We made an appointment at a local dealer where we purchased the car and the maintenance man suggested a new starter but reading through the complaints on here, that doesn’t always help. So he will cancel our appointment. With so many complaints on here about the car not starting, I think it’s your duty to come up with a resolution that works. Several times I have driven the car to places not near our home and the car won’t start. I think this is an unsafe condition and should be repaired!

THE SAME PROBLEM AS THE OTHER 250 ENTRIES. ENGINE WON'T START AT THE PRESS OF THE PUSH BUTTON. I HAVE 75,000 MILES ON THE CAR. IT IS GARAGED AND WELL TAKEN CARE OF. IT DOESN'T MATTER THE TIME OF DAY, TEMPERATURE OR IF IT'S THE FIRST OR LAST DRIVE OF THE DAY. FRUSTRATING TO SAY THE LEAST. I HAVE TO REPEATEDLY PUSH THE BUTTON, TRY SHIFTING INTO NEUTRAL, TRY GETTING OUT AND BACK IN. IT IS ENTIRELY RANDOM, SOMETIMES TAKING TEN MINUTES OR MORE TO FINALLY START. ALL INDICATIONS ARE NORMAL ON THE DASH, IT JUST WILL NOT ENGAGE THE STARTER. NO CLICK, NOTHING.
MY 2014 HONDA ACCORD IS EXPERIENCING EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION, LACK OF ENGINE POWER, ENGINE STALLING ISSUES AND OVERALL UNSAFE DRIVABILITY CONDITIONS. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO ALBANY HONDA ON 5/4/2020 FOR THEM TO DIAGNOSE AND REPAIR THE ISSUE BUT THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEMS I WAS EXPERIENCING SO THEY RECOMMENDED AN OIL CHANGE AND GASKET VALVE COVER REPLACEMENT AND CHARGED ME $262.08 FOR THE SERVICE. I PAID FOR THE SERVICE AND DROVE MY VEHICLE OFF THE LOT WITH THE SEVERE ISSUES STILL PRESENT. AFTER 30 MINUTES OF DRIVING THE VEHICLE THE ENGINE STRUGGLED TO GET UP HILLS, BEGAN JERKING, JOLTING VIOLENTLY AND I WAS ALMOST HIT BY ONCOMING TRAFFIC, I IMMEDIATELY CALLED SERVE DEPARTMENT BACK AT HONDA AND TOLD THEM ABOUT THE INCIDENT AND THAT I WAS BRINGING THE CAR BACK AND FOR THEM TO DO A THOROUGH INSPECTION AND DIAGNOSIS OF THE VEHICLE AS IT HAD BECOME A SAFETY HAZARD AND I DIDN'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING IT. THE NEXT DAY THE TELLS ME THAT THEY 'TEST DROVE' THE VEHICLE AGAIN AND THAT THE MECHANIC NOTICED A 'SLIGHT SURGE' BUT STILL COULD NOT PINPOINT THE ISSUE. THEY THEN RECOMMENDED A HOST OF COMPLETELY UNRELATED EXPENSIVE REPAIRS THAT WOULD COST ME $600 TO $700; MONEY THAT ABSOLUTELY NO ONE HAS TO SPARE DURING THIS NATIONWIDE PANDEMIC. FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED I ENDED UP TAKING MY VEHICLE TO ANOTHER CERTIFIED REPAIR SHOP AND THEY DIAGNOSED THE ISSUE AS P0300'AS AN ENGINE MISFIRE. THE SHOP REFUSED TO WORK ON THE VEHICLE BECAUSE THEY SAID IT'S A SERIOUS ISSUE AND THAT HONDA SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE TO REPAIR MY VEHICLE BECAUSE THEY PROBLEM IS A TSB BAD PISTON RINGS THAT HONDA NEEDS TO ADDRESS. *TR
ABS MODULE IS MALFUNCTIONING. ALL OF THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH ARE ON AND THE VEHICLE BRAKES SUDDENLY WITHOUT WARNING.
THE ABS MODULE IS BAD WHICH CAUSES THE BRAKING SYSTEM TO GO BAD. THE FCW SYSTEM FAILURE LIGHT COMES ON ALONG WITH THE ABS, BRAKE, VEHICLE STABILITY, ELECTRIC POWER SYSTEM LIGHTS. *TR
EVERY ONCE AND A WHILE I GET IN MY CAR AND TRY TO START IT UP AND IT WON'T START . IT TAKES SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE IT DOES START UP . YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN IT'S GOING TO NOT START BECAUSE IT DOES IT EVERY NOW AND THEN . I HAVE BEEN STRANDED MANY TIMES WAITING AND CONSTANTLY TURNING THE SWITCH TO SEE IF IT'LL START AND AFTER MANY TRIES, IT DOES . I HAVE REPLACED THE STARTER AND KEY FOB BATTERIES NEITHER ONE OF THEM WERE THE PROBLEM. AFTER REPLACING THE STARTER , MY KEY FOB STOPPED WORKING AND I CAN'T LOCK MY DOORS ANYMORE . I'VE ALSO TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT AND THEY TRIED TO REPLACE TWO OF THE FUSES BUT THEY BOTH BURNT OUT AS SOON AS THEY WERE PUT IN . I'VE ONLY HAD THIS CAR FOR TWO MONTHS AND IT FEELS LIKE I'VE HAD IT FOR YEARS THE WAY I'M HAVING PROBLEMS WITH IT . *TR
I BOUGHT A NEW HONDA ACCORD 2014. THE TRANSMISSION BROKE AT 47K MILES AND AFTER IT WAS REPAIRED AT NARDY HONDA IT ONCE AGAIN BROKE DOWN AT 75K MILES . I HAVE AN 7 YEAR WARRANTY ON THE VEHICLE AND NARDY MGT. EXTENDED IT TO 112K MILES . NOW IN APRIL 2020 THE VEHICLE SEEMS TO HAVE ENGINE TROUBLE . I HAVE IT TOWED TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP TO REPAIR VEHICLE SINCE NARDY WAS TOTALLY CLOSED DUE TO THE CORONA VIRUS. ONCE AT HUNTINGTON HONDA, SERVICE MECHANIC SHOWS ME SOME THING HAPPENED TO THE WIRES ON TOP OF THE ENGINE BY THE FIRE WALL. HE STATED A RODENT MAY HAVE CHEWED SOME WIRES. THE SERVICE MGT. STATED I WOULD NOT BE COVERED AND WAS AN UNBELIEVABLE EXPENSIVE REPAIR BILL. THEY PUT SOME KIND OF RODENT PROOF TAPE OVER THE AREA , BUT DIDN'T EXTENDED THE TAPE ANOTHER 2 FEET TO COVER THE ENTIRE BACK AREA. WHEN I ASKED WHY NOT THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE TAPE WAS EXPENSIVE. WELL 2 WEEKS LATER THE SAME PROBLEM AROSE A COUPLE INCHES WHERE THE MECHANIC FAILED TO EXTEND THE TAPE. SERVICE MGT STATED THAT THEY WERE SORRY BUT YOU WILL NOT BE COVERED FOR THE SAME REPAIR WHICH IN TOTAL WAS OVER 1000 DOLLARS WHEN THE DEALERSHIP SHOULD OF REPAIRED THE PROBLEM THE FIRST TIME . I ALSO LEARN THAT HONDA HAD MADE THESES LINES ECO FRIENDLY FROM 2010 TO 2016 WHERE IT ATTRACTED RODENTS . I FEEL I SHOULD BE COMPENSATED FOR THIS VERY EXPENSIVE REPAIR.*DT*JB
MY CAR 2014 HONDA ACCORD SPORT AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION HAS A PROBLEM WITH STARTING ENGINE , IT WAS QUIET SEVERAL TIMES WHEN STARTING ENGINE AND IT TURNS OUT IT CAUSED STARTER WON'T START . 5 TIMES ONE OR MORE SPARK PLUGS FAILED, CAUSING POWER LOSS TO GASOLINE ENGINE, SLOWING CAR TO A STOP. EACH TIME, THE CAR WAS ON THE FREEWAY (CA-2), UTILIZING CRUISE CONTROL. DEALER REPLACED SPECIAL SPARK PLUGS AS A WARANTY ISSUE. HAPPENED 2X IN 2015, 1X IN 2017, 1X IN 2018, 1X IN 2020. THE CAR WAS CLIMBING A SLIGHT GRADE, WEATHER WAS VARIABLE (COOL TO HOT), ALWAYS ON CRUISE CONTROL, SPEED NEVER EXCEEDING 60 MPH.
APPROX. 165000 I HAD TO REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION. THE CVT TRANSMISSION BLEW WITH ME ONLY OWNING FOR APPROX. 2.5 YEARS. I'M NOW ON MY 3RD CVT TRANSMISSION AND HONDA BLAMED ME FOR THE MALFUNCTION. I WAS DRIVING TO PICK UP MY 3 YEAR OLD FROM DAYCARE WHEN I HEARD A BANG AND ITEMS FALLING FROM MY CAR. I WAS ABLE TO COAST AND PARK IN A CHURCH PARKING LOT.
THE CAR WILL NOT START AT ALL. IT DOES NOT GIVE A CODE AND AFTER 3-6 ATTEMPTS IT FINALLY STARTS. THIS HAS NOW HAPPENED OVER THE LAST MONTH FOUR TIMES.
SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE LIGHT EVEN THE TPS LIGHT IT'S OUT OF CONTROL. THE STEERING GETS ROUGHER WHEN SLOWING DOWN OR ACCELERATING
VEHICLE FAILS TO START OR ENGAGE STARTER WITH PRESSING OF START BUTTON. ONLY AFTER A FEW MINUTES AND REPEATED ATTEMPTS TO START WILL THE SYSTEM ENGAGE. THIS EVENT HAPPENS ABOUT ONCE EVERY TEN VEHICLE TRIPS. BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR CHECK OUT FINE.
MY CAR IS BURNING OIL. 1. THERE IS BLACK SUTT AROUND THE EXHAUST. 2. CHECKED THE ENGINE OIL DIPSTICK AND THERE WAS NO OIL IN THE CAR. CAR HAS LESS THAN 45000 MILES ON IT. VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND LEFT FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS. PLEASE INVESTIGATE. THANKS!

MY ACCORD'S BACKUP CAMERA STOPPED WORKING, FOR NO APPARENT REASON. THE SCREEN IS SHOWING MULTI-ANGLE, BUT NO PICTURE. THE CAR WAS IN REVERSE, OF COURSE, WHEN I NOTICED IT. TALKING TO THE HONDA DEALERSHIP, WAS OF COURSE SURPRISED.
AFTER PUTTING THE CAR IN GEAR IT SHOWS A FCW CODE IN THE DASHBOARD. IT HAPPENS EVERYTIME THE CAR IS MOVING OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY, ON A STREET, HIGHWAY, AND INTERSTATE.
TODAY IS FEBRUARY 24 2020 AND MY CAR STARTED DOING A WEIRD NOISE ON THE ENGINE WHAT IT SOUND LIKE A MISFIRE BUT ALL THE LIGHTS STARTED COMING UP ON MY DASHBOARD WHILE LOSING POWER ON IT WAS VERY SCARY CUZ A LOT OF CARS WERE PASSING BY AT A HIGH SPEED ON THE FREEWAY I WAS REAL SCARY CARS ALMOST HIT ME .. THE CAR WAS SERVICE A WEEK BEFORE THEY RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE IGNITION COILS AND SPARK PLUGS WHICH GOT DONE ON IT EVER SINCE THEN MY CAR HAS HAD A WEIRD RATTLING NOISE WHEN STARTING IT UP AFTER A FEW MINUTES IT GOES AWAY HOPE THESE ISSUES ARE CORRECTED BYE DINNERS UNDER SHIPS OR MANUFACTURERS FOR SAFETY PURPOSES THANK YOU.

BACKUP CAMERA SHOWS BLACK SCREEN WHILE REVERSING. INTERMITTENT FAILURE AT FIRST, THE COMPLETELY DIED. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS PUT IT REVERSE THE CAMERA SCREEN WITH GUIDE LINES DISPLAYED, BUT NO IMAGE WAS VISIBLE.
THE CAR INTERMITTENTLY WILL NOT START. ALL ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS WORK, AC WORKS, WINDOWS, EXCEPT THE ENGINE DOESN'T TURN OVER. THE ENGINE DOES NOT START. SOMETIMES IT STARTS THE FIRST TIME, OTHER TIMES YOU ARE SITTING THERE TRYING TO START FOR 15, 20 MIN. THE FREQUENCY OF NON- START INCREASES AS TIME GOES ON. TEMPERATURE AND TIME DRIVEN DO NOT MATTER. IT'S HAPPENED IN 70 DEGREE WEATHER AND IN 15 DEGREE WEATHER. IT'S HAPPENED AFTER I'VE DRIVEN FOR 5 MIN OR 50 MIN.
