I HAVE A 2015 HONDA ACCORD CP WITH ABOUT 60K MILES. I IT CAN NOT START THIS MORNING, ALL THE DASH LIGHTS FLASH AND IT ISN'T CRANKING. IT HAPPENED LAST YEAR BUT IT COULD START AFTER A HALF HOUR, AND IT RUN WELL UNTIL THIS MORNING. IT JUST WONT START NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRIED.
THE CAR BEEN HAVING HARD TIME STARTING. MOST OF THE TIME IT STARTS RIGHT AWAY AND SOMETIME IT WILL JUST CLICK AND WONT START. BUT WILL START AFTER A FEW TRIES. HAD THE BATTERY ,ALTERNATOR,AND STARTER CHECK. AND EVERYTHING CAME OUT GOOD. SOMETIMES AFTER A QUICK STOP TO THE STORE THE CAR WONT START. CHECK FOR RECALL ON MY CAR AND IT SHOWS 0 UNREPAIRED CALLS. SEEM LIKE ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE HAVING SAME ISSUES.
THE CAR WENT ON FIRE; THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE WAS COMPLETELY BURNT. I WAS AT A RED LIGHT, IT STARTED SMOKING UP UNDER THE HOOD, I PULLED OVER, AND AS I OPENED THE HOOD IT WAS FLAMING. NOW I HAVE BEEN ATTEMPTING TO REPAIR IT AS I AM STILL PAYING THE CAR NOTE. I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW IT EVEN HAPPENED. *TR

CAR DOES NOT START EVEN THOUGHT BATTERY IS FINE. HONDA IS UNWILLING TO HELP WITHOUT A DIAGNOSTIC FEE ON AN ISSUE MANY 2013-2015 ACCORD MODELS HAVE. CAR WAS PARKED AFTER RUNNING COMPLETELY FINE, WHEN I WAS TRYING TO START IT AGAIN IT REFUSED TO TURN ON COMPLETELY. TIRE LIGHT FLASHES AND AVS/ENGINE/BATTERY LIGHT ARE ON.
PROBLEMS STARTING. THOUGHT IT WAS TIME FOR A NEW BATTERY SO I BOUGHT A TOP OF THE LINE ONE SO THAT I DO NOT HAVE TO REPLACE EVERY 3 YEARS. STILL DOES THE SAME THING. TAKES SOMETIMES 4 AND EVEN 7 TIMES TO START. WHEN LEAVING IN THE MORNING FOR ERRANDS WILL START BUT DON'T WANT TO TURN OFF AFRAID THAT I WILL BE STUCK. I BOUGHT THE HONDA THINKING I WAS GETTING A RELIABLE CAR. SO IS MY STARTER OR IGNITION AN ISSUE. OR ELECTRICAL. I DON'T LIKE HAVING CAR PROBLEMS, I AM NOT VERY HAPPY. PLEASE HELP
THE VEHICLE IS CONSUMING EXCESSIVE OIL HAS BEEN DOING SO FOR LAST 20,000 MILES OR THAT'S WHEN I NOTICED IT. IT'S LOSING A QUART EVERY 1500 MILES. IT ALSO SEEMS TO HAVE BAD SEALS ON THE DOORS AND WINDSHIELD AIR SEEMS TO BE GETTING INSIDE WHILE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS MAKES UNBEARABLE NOISES WHICH IS A HUGE DISCOMFORT TO ALL PASSENGERS IN THE VEHICLE HONDA REFUSED TO MAKE ANY CORRECTION ON THESE PROBLEMS. AS BOTH ARE MANUFACTURE DEFECTS. VEHICLE ONLY HAS 73,000 MILES I'M HOPING THAT MY MESSAGE HERE CAN BE SEEN BY NHTSA AND I HOPE THEY CAN HELP WITH MY PROBLEMS BECAUSE HONDA HAS FAILED TO DO ANYTHING. STARTER BEGAN GRINDING AND SKIPPING AT 55,000 MILES. I DRIVE 70 MILES ROUND TRIP EACH DAY, SO THE MILEAGE DOESN'T REPRESENT THE ACTUAL LIMITED AMOUNT OF STARTS I HAVE HAD WITH THIS CAR. TSB FROM HONDA DECLARES 'IMPROPER CLEARANCE IN STARTER WITH PINION GEAR MAY CAUSE STARTING MALFUNCTION.' MUST ROTATE TORQUE CONVERTER BOLTS ONE ROUND CLOCKWISE AND REPLACE STARTER TO FIX. BUT, THIS WON'T FIX THE ISSUE. THE IMPROPER CLEARANCE IS A DESIGN FLAW. NEW STARTER WILL DO THE SAME THING. IF THE STARTER MALFUNCTIONS AGAIN, THEN A NEW TORQUE CONVERTER IS REQUIRED. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND UNFOUNDED IN CAR MAINTENANCE. A BAD STARTER DESIGN COSTS OWNERS +3,400$ TO REMEDY THE SECOND TIME. WHICH STILL WON'T FIX IT. THE THIRD STARTER STILL WON'T HAVE THE PROPER CLEARANCE.
VEHICLE IS NOT STARTING WHEN I PUSH THE IGNITION. I'VE BEEN TO MANY FORUMS WHERE SIMILAR PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN REPORTED AND MANY SOLUTIONS TRIED BUT NO FIX FOUND. PEOPLE HAVE SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO FIX THIS ISSUE AND STILL NO FIX. I'VE REPLACED THE BATTERY AND HAD THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TESTED WITH NO ISSUE FOUND. HONDA ISSUED TSB 16-002 FOR V6 ACCORD MODELS BUT DOESN'T ACKNOWLEDGE THE ISSUE ON MY V4 MODEL. VEHICLE IS PARKED - ISSUE HAS BEEN ONGOING AND IS GETTING PROGRESSIVELY WORSE TO THE POINT THAT I AM NOT DRVING IT! SPOKE WITH HONDA CUSTOMER COMPLAINT REP AND INFORMED THAT THE TSB STILL DOES NOT APPLY TO MY CAR. IN THE MID-WEST DURING THE WINTER MONTHS THE RISK OF BEING STRANDED IN SUB-ZERO TEMPS IS VERY REAL WITH THIS ISSUE AND HAS ALREADY HAPPENED TO ME TWICE.
THE VEHICLE CVT TRANSMISSION FAILED WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY.
THERE IS A WARRANTY EXT. ON THE PAINT AND HONDA CORP. WILL NOT COVER RENTAL WHICH WILL TAKE 7 DAYS TO REPAIR. IT IS NO FAULT OF MY OWN THAT THE PAINT IS PEELING, AND I CAN GO WITH OUT A CAR.
VEHICLE NEEDS NEW BATTERY EVERY 2 YEARS. HAS LEFT ME STRANDED TWICE. THE CAR HAS LESS THAN 90,000 MILES AND IS ONLY 4 YEARS OLD. HONDA HAS REPLACED UNDER RECALL SOME TYPE OF BATTERY SENSOR BUT THIS HAS NOT HELPED. THERE ARE TWO TSB'S THAT I KNOW OF: TSB 16-002 AND TSB 17-057. CAR GURUS WEBSITE HAS A BLOG WITH A LARGE NUMBER OF ACCORD OWNERS ALL IN THE SAME BOAT. PEOPLE ARE REPLACING STARTERS, ALTERNATORS, IGNITION SWITCHES, BATTERIES, ETC. TO NO AVAIL. HONDA HAS TURNED ITS BACK ON ITS CUSTOMERS. I CAN NOT AFFORD THIS. PLEASE HELP.
THE WIPERS INTERMITTENTLY STOP WHILE DRIVING , IT JUST STARTED 2 DAYS AGO. I'M NOT SURE WHAT TO DO

DRIVING THE CAR ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN SUDDENLY THE CAR BEGINS PULLING BACK, WHICH THEN IS FOLLOWED BY A BINKING 'D3" ON THE DASH.
2015 HONDA ACCORD V6 BOUGHT AS NEW NOW WITH 72K MILES HAS STARTER PROBLEM. CAR WILL HAVE A WINDING/GRINDING NOISE WHEN ATTEMPTING TO START (FROM OFF AND STATIONARY POSITION) BUT WILL NOT START. WHEN INSPECTING PROBLEM, IT WAS FOUND THAT THE FLYWHEEL HAS BEEN DAMAGED LIKELY DUE TO MISALIGNMENT OF TORQUE CONVERTER RING GEAR OR BAD STARTER MOTOR. CALLED TO HONDA DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THE COMPONENTS ARE NOT COVERED BY WARRANTIES. SERVICE CAMPAIGN ONLINE WAS FOUND WITH REFERENCE TSB NO. 16-002 ISSUED FEBRUARY 5, 2016. BUYER WAS NOT AWARE OF SUCH PROBLEMS SINCE DATE OF PURCHASE AS HONDA NEVER ISSUED A RECALL OR MAILED OUT NOTIFICATION TO THE BUYER. MANY HAVE REPORTED THE ISSUE ONLINE. BUYER WAS NEVER MADE AWARE OF SERVICE BULLETIN VIA PAPER OR ELECTONIC MAIL, NO RECALL WAS MADE, CAR IS NOW APPARENTLY NO LONGER COVERED UNDER WARRANTY, AND REQUIRING MULTIPLE PARTS REPAIRS.
THE CAR WAS MAKING CLICKING SOUND, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WASN'T ON. DROVE ON THE HIGHWAY AND THE SOUND START TO SOUND WORSE. SO DROVE BACK HOME, SPEED WAS DROPPING. IT SHUT OFF WHILE IDLING AT STOP SIGN. TOOK A WHILE TO TURN BACK ON. FINALLY TURNED BACK ON AND WAS ABLE TO GET HOME. HAVEN'T USED THE CAR SINCE. HAVE SOMEONE CHECK THE CAR BUT WHEN HE TRIED TO START THE CAR IT SOUND HORRIBLE SO HE TURN IT OFF AND SAID NOT TO TOUCH IT. HE WAS CHECKING TO SEE IF THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON. AND IT WASN'T. *TR
MY CAR HAS 58,000 MILES. AND NOW THE CAR START UP FIRST TIME AND AFTER STARTING AND STOPPING IT THE VEHICLE WILL INTERMITTENTLY NOT START. WHEN I PUSH THE PUSH START BUTTON THE LIGHTS COME ON AND THE RADIO AND THE HEAT COMES ON BUT IT JUST CLICKS. I TOOK IT TO THE LOCAL HONDA DEALER AND THEY RECOMMEND THE I REPLACE THE STARTER AND ROTATING THE TORQUE CONVERTER ONE BOLD HOLE COUNTERCLOCKWISE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING UP A HILL, THE VEHICLE STALLED FOR THREE TO FOUR SECONDS AND RESTARTED INDEPENDENTLY. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESTART WHEN ATTEMPTING TO DRIVE. THE CONTACT PURCHASED A NEW STARTER; HOWEVER, THE FAILURES RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 75,000.
INCONSISTENT START UP. ONE CLICK WITHOUT ACTUALLY STARTING. IT MAY TAKE 1-20 ATTEMPTS TO TURNOVER. BATTERY IS ABOUT A YEAR OLD. MILEAGE IS 117,000 MILES. BASIC MAINTENANCE HAS BEEN PERFORMED ON THIS VEHICLE.
THE PAST MONTH MY VEHICLE WILL START INTERMITTENTLY. I WILL TURN THE KEY AND NOTHING HAPPENS. NO CLICK FROM THE STARTER OR NOTHING. LIGHTS COME ON. TURN KEY TO OFF AND TRY AGAIN AND IT STARTS. BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR TESTED GOOD. MY GUESS IT IS THE STARTER GOING BAD OR THE STARTER RELAY. CAR HAS 75000 MILES ON IT. OBVIOUSLY CAR IS PARKED. THIS OCCURRED 11/20/2019 TO PRESENT. IT IS RANDOM WHEN IT DOES HAPPEN AND IS HAPPENING MORE OFTEN.
WHENEVER ATTEMPTING TO START THE VEHICLE AFTER IT HAD RECENTLY BEEN TURNED OFF (EX: WHEN GETTING GAS OR RUNNING INTO STORE QUICKLY) THE DASH AND INTERIOR LIGHTS UP AND CHIMES BUT MAKES NO ATTEMPT AT START (NO FUEL PUMP POWER OR ATTEMPT TO CRANK OVER MOTOR) AND THIS OCCURS FREQUENTLY AMIDST MY VEHICLE AND OTHERS OF THE SAME YEAR/ MAKE WITHOUT EVER RECEIVING A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OR WARNING. HE NOTED AS WELL THAT THE VEHICLE HAS HAD THE BATTERY, STARTER, AND ALTERNATOR TESTED WITHOUT ANY CONCLUSIVE RESULTS AS TO THE ISSUE. HONDA DEALERSHIP AS WELL FAILED TO GIVE ME OR OTHER OWNERS A CONCLUSIVE FIX FOR THE ISSUE AND REMAINS ONGOING.
INTERMITTENT ISSUES WITH STARTING. I HEAR AND SEE A FLICKER ON THE DASHBOARD AND LIGHTS, HOWEVER IT DOESN'T START.I PLUG A JUMPER PACK IN AND IT IMMEDIATELY STARTS, AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED. THIS WILL HAVE 5-6 TIMES A WEEK AFTER RUNNING FINE THROUGHOUT THE DAY. JUST HAPPENS SURPRISINGLY. THE STARTER HAS BEEN REPLACED IN WHICH THE HONDA DEALERSHIP SAYS WAS THE ISSUE. THERE IS CLEARLY SOME OTHER ISSUE HAPPENING, MAYBE THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM BUT THEY REFUSED TO CHECK TO EVEN HELP DIAGNOSE AGAIN.
The contact owns a 2015 Honda Accord. The contact stated while attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle would not immediately start. The vehicle was taken to the local mechanic who diagnosed that the battery had discharged due to a battery sensor failure. The contact stated that the battery had been replaced on several occasions over the years however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V418000 (Electrical System). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 50,000.
IN THE LAST YEAR MY CAR HAS NOT TURNED ON 3 TIMES. WHEN I PUSH THE START BUTTON IT JUST CLICKS AND ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS COME ON. ONLY AFTER MANY ATTEMPTS AND WAITING MORE THAN HALF HOUR IT FINALLY TURNS ON WITH ALL WARNING LIGHTS. IN JULY, WE CHANGED THE BATTERY. THINKING THIS MIGHT BE THE PROBLEM. IT WAS NOT. AGAIN TODAY THE CAR WOULD NOT START AND ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS ARE ON. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER WHO IS CHARGING ME $150!TO DO A DIAGNOSTIC CHECK. I PURCHASED THE CAR IN 2015 BRAND NEW. IT CURRENTLY HAS 35K MILES. A CAR WITH FEW MILES AND ONLY 4 YRS OLD SHOULD NOT BE GIVING ANY PROBLEMS. EVEN LESS HAVING TO PAY FOR A DIAGNOSTIC OR MANUFACTURING RELATED PROBLEMS.

HEADLIGHTS ARE DANGEROUS. WHEN RAINING AT NIGHT I CAN'T EVEN SEE WHAT LANE I'M IN. IS ESPECIALLY BAD WHEN CARS ARE ON OTHER SIDE OF ROAD. WHEN I FIRST GOT THE CAR, I STOPPED TO SEE IF THE HEADLIGHTS WERE EVEN ON. THEY ARE USELESS WHEN ROAD IS WET AND RAINING. OFTEN I CAN'T EVEN SEE WHAT LANE I'M IN. THIS HAS BEEN THE PROBLEM SINCE I GOT THE CAR IN 2018. AND I CANT SEE ON THE LEFT WHEN MAKING A LEFT TURN. THESE LIGHTS ARE DANGEROUS AND NEED TO BE RECALLED. I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH MY PREVIOUS 2015 ACCORD.

THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED 3 TIMES HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE A SECOND TIME. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V060000 (FUEL SYSTEM, OTHER) AS POSSIBLE SOLUTION FOR THE FAILURES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 78,324.
I HAVE THE WHITE ORCHARD PAINT AND IT IS PEELING FROM AROUND THE EDGES OF MY REAR ROOF AND SIDE PANELS. I WASH IT ABOUT ONCE EVERY TWO WEEKS WITH QUALITY REPUTABLE PRODUCTS AND DRY IT AFTER. EVEN TAKING EXCELLENT CARE OF IT AFTER 5 YEARS-THE PAINT SHOULD NOT BE PEELING!
DEFECTIVE STARTER MEANT I WAS OFTEN STRANDED, UNABLE TO START THE CAR. HAD TO REPLACE STARTER ON CAR AFTER LESS THAN FOUR YEARS OF USE.

THE CONTACT HAD NOT TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO BE SERVICED BY A DEALER. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. UPON INVESTIGATION, HE DISCOVERED A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN: A16-002 WHICH HE RELATED TO THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
I DROVE MY CAR FOR 10 MINUTES AND THEN STOP AT THE GAS STATION TO PUT SOME GAS THEN AFTER I TRIED TO TURN IT ON AGAIN BUT MY CAR WILL NOT START AND THEN AFTER WAITING FOR MORE THAN 30 MINUTES HE DID FINALLY START BUT ALL THE LIGHTS WERE STILL ON THEN I DROVE IT FOR ANOTHER FIVE MINUTES AND STOP THE CAR TO PARK AND THEN WAIT FOR FIVE MINUTES AND THEN THE CAR START AGAIN BUT THE LIGHTS WERE OFF THIS TIME I'M NOT SURE IF THIS IS SAFE BUT IT'S BEEN DOING THIS FOR MORE THAN THREE TIMES ALREADY I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.
MY TRANSMISSION WANT OUT YESTERDAY WITH 10400 MILES ON AND NO LIGHTS OR NOTHING CAME ON SAYING ABOUT TRANSMISSION
INTERMITTENT PROBLEM STARTING THE CAR. AT TIMES THE CAR WOULD START NORMALLY AFTER THE FIRST TURN OF THE KEY. AT OTHER TIMES IT MAY TAKE MORE THAN ONE TURN OF THE KEY OR AS MANY AS 7 TO 10 TURNS OF THE KEY FOR THE CAR TO START. THE TRANSMISSION WAS IN PARK AT ALL TIMES. BEFORE THE CAR STARTED, ALL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT SUCH AS RADIO, WINDSHIELD, A/C, DASHBOARD LIGHTS WERE WORKING AS NORMAL. THIS CONDITION HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR SEVERAL WEEKS. THERE WAS NO WORK DONE ON THE CAR; ALL ELECTRICAL AND ENGINE PARTS THE SAME AS WHEN THE CAR WAS FIRST PURCHASED.
I HAVE A 2015 HONDA ACCORD SPORT, PEARL WHITE COLOR WITH 48,900 MILES. I WAS WASHING MY CAR (9/01/19) AND I NOTICED THAT THE PAINT IS CHIPPING ON THE SIDES OF THE REAR WINDOW CHANNEL.
ALMOST DAILY THE CAR WILL NOT START ON THE FIRST TRY. IT CAN TAKE UP TO 10 ATTEMPTS TO GET IT STARTED. ALL OF THE LIGHTS ON DASH TURN ON AND I HEAR A CLICK BUT IT DOESN'T START. SOMETIMES IF I STEP OUT OF THE CAR AND REINTRODUCE THE KEY IT WORKS BUT NOT ALWAYS. WE CHANGED THE KEY FOB BATTERY, HAD THE RECALL FIXED AND THE DEALER SAID CAR HAD A GOOD INSPECTION. BATTERY AND STARTER ARE GOOD.
MY 2015HONDA ACCORD PURCHASED NEW OFF THE LOT AND WELL MAINTAINED HAS ISSUES WITH START UP SYSTEM. DEALER REPORTS IT IS A STARTER FAILURE. WHEN FOOT IS FIRMLY PLACED ON THE BRAKE AND START PUSH BUTTON IS PUSHED THE CAR WILL MAKE ONE CLICK SOUND AND NOT START, IT CAN TAKE UP TO 10 ATTEMPTS TO START CAR. THE DISPLAY DOES SHOW UP. I HAD THE BATTERY SENSOR RECALL FIXED AND THIS DID NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE. DEALER WANTS OVER $750 TO REPAIR STARTER.I BELIEVE THERE IS ANOTHER ISSUE HAPPENING CAUSING THE STARTER TO DIE. HONDA NEEDS TO RECALL THESE STARTERS AND GET DOWN TO THE ROOT CAUSE, BECAUSE THOUSAND OF OTHERS ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME STARTING ISSUES WITH THESE CARS. IT IS VERY SAD THAT HONDAS REPUTATION IS BEING STAINED DUE TO THEIR NEGLIGENCE IN CORRECTING THIS ISSUE.
BACKUP CAMERA ON THE VEHICLE STOPPED WORKING WHEN PUT IN REVERSE. HAD TO PAY TO HAVE IT FIXED ON 3/3/2020 EQUAL TO WHAT A CAR PAYMENT WOULD OF BEEN A MONTH AFTER FINISHING PAYING OFF VEH.
TIRES HAVE A BUMP AT SLOW SPEEDS NOT NOTICEABLE AT HIGHER SPPEDS IT IS NOT ABOUT BALANCING THERE IS NO VIBRATION. SOUNDS LIKE A BROKEN BELT
AT ~92,500 MILES, THIS CAR HAS SUDDENLY BEGUN IN THE PAST WEEK TO SHUT OFF WHILE ACCELERATING/DRIVING (IN MOTION) ON SURFACE STREETS AND FREEWAYS. THE MULTIFUNCTION SCREEN AND/OR SOUND SYSTEM AND/OR DASH/ENGINE/ACCELERATION WILL SHUT OFF WITHOUT WARNING WHILE I AM OPERATING THE VEHICLE IN TRAFFIC ANYWHERE FROM 15-65 MPH. WHEN IT HAS HAPPENED, THE SYSTEM HAS QUICKLY REBOOTED AND ALLOWED ME TO RESUME DRIVING. IT FEELS VERY UNSAFE AND UNPREDICTABLE.
THE CAR SOMETIMES HAS TROUBLE STARTING. I HAVE PURCHASED A NEW BATTERY AS THE ORIGINAL WENT BAD (THE ORIGINAL BATTERY WAS LESS THAN 3 YEARS OLD AND HAD AROUND 35,000 MILES). THE PROBLEM SEEMED TO HAVE RESOLVED AND NOW A FEW MONTHS LATER THE CAR IS ACTING UP AGAIN. IT ONLY HAPPENS INTERMITTENTLY AND I CANNOT REPRODUCE THE SYMPTOMS. THIS IS BASICALLY A BRAND NEW CAR BUT IT SEEMS AS THE ALTERNATOR OR STARTER IS BAD AND NEEDS TO BE RECALLED.

MY CAR SOMETIMES STARTS, SOMETIMES DOESN'T START. SOMETIMES IT STARTS RIGHT AWAY ON THE FIRST TRY. SOMETIMES IT TAKES MULTIPLE TRIES AFTER A FEW SECONDS TO A FEW MINUTES. THE TIMES WHEN IT DOESN'T START, I TURN THE KEY IN THE IGNITION AND HEAR ONE SINGLE TINY CLICK. THE DASH BOARD LIGHTS COME ON, RADIO PLAYS, AIR COND. WORKS, WIPERS WORK HEADLIGHTS WORK. EVENTUALLY, AFTER A FEW RETRIES, THE ENGINE WILL START. SOMETIMES IT STARTS AFTER WAITING A FEW MINUTES. WHEN I DO GET THE CAR STARTED, IT RUNS PERFECTLY SMOOTH. NO STALLING OR SPUTTERING, NO WEIRD NOISES, NO PROBLEMS WITH ACCELERATION. IT'S ONLY ON STARTING WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR ABOUT 6/7 MONTHS.
THERE HAS BEEN AN ISSUE RECALLED FOR 2015 HONDA ACCORDS AND THEIR FUEL PUMP. I WAS ALMOST IN A CAR ACCIDENT WHILE IN A MAJOR HIGHWAY. WHY CAN'T THINS ISSUE BE FIXED, OR WHY ISN'T THERE A RECALL AVAILABLE FOR MY VIN? WHEN THERE IS AN ACTUAL RECALL ON THIS ISSUE.
TRAVELING IN CAR ON HIGHWAY WITH NO OTHER CARS AROUND AND SUNROOF SUDDENLY EXPLODED.
PASSENGER SIDE REAR BRAKE CAPILER SEIZED ON A 2015 HONDA ACCORD WITH ONLY 41,400 MILES ON THE CAR. THANKFULLY IT DIDN'T CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. BEFORE THE FAILURE, BRAKE PADS WERE GOOD AND MEASURED 7 ON FRONTS AND 6 ON THE REARS. THE CAR HAD ALL ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT AND THE 3 YEAR MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY HAD ENDED ABOUT 9 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE OF THE CAPILER DESTROYED THE BRAKE PAD MAKING THE BRAKE METAL ON METAL WHICH RUINED THE ROTOR. THE FAILURE REQUIRED THE CAR TO NEED REPLACEMENT OF REAR CAPILERS, BRAKE PADS, AND ROTORS ON BOTH REAR TIRES. THE SAFETY DEPARTMENT SHOULD LOOK INTO DEFECTS OF THE HONDA ACCORD REAR BRAKING SYSTEM BECAUSE THESE DEFECTS/FAILURES COULD CAUSE SERIOUS ACCIDENTS AND INJURIES.
THE IGNITION SWITCH IS A PROBLEM, IT WORKS ON AND OFF. I CHECKED THE BATTERY CABLES AND THEY ARE CLEAN AND FIRMLY SECURED. I REPLACED THE FOB BATTERY TO NO AVAIL. I HAVE ONLY 35,000 MILES ON IT. I UNDERSTAND THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH HONDA. THIS IS CONSTANT PROBLEM WHEN I ATTEMPT TO START THE CAR.
