I AM UNABLE TO START VEHICLE WHEN PRESSING PUSH START BUTTON. THE VEHICLE WILL START AFTER APPROXIMATELY 10-15 TIMES OF TRYING. IT STARTED HAPPENING TWO WEEKS AGO BUT VEHICLE WOULD IGNITE WITH NO MORE THAN TWO TRIES. VEHICLE WILL NOW START AFTER MULTIPLE TIMES GETTING WORST EVERY DAY. BATTERY LIFE WAS CHECKED AND NO ISSUES WERE FOUND WITH BATTERY. IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME I TURN OFF VEHICLE AND TRY TO RESTART.
BURNS A QUART OF OIL OR MORE EVERY 2000 MILES.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE IGNITION WOULD NOT TURN OVER FROM A COLD START IN THE MORNING DUE TO STARTER FAILURE. THE CONTACT HAD TO MAKE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS BEFORE THE VEHICLE WOULD START. THE FAILURE WAS BECOMING MORE FREQUENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HOLLER HONDA (2211 N SEMORAN BLVD, ORLANDO, FL 32807, (877) 872-9906) WHERE IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THE STARTER FAILED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000.
PAINT ON THE FRONT BUMPER STARTED PILING OFF ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO AND NOW MOST OF THE PAINT HAS PILLED FROM THE FRONT BUMPER
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HENNESSY HONDA OF WOODSTOCK (3701, 8931 GA-92, WOODSTOCK, GA 30189, (770) 924-9000) WHERE THE STARTER WAS REPLACED, BUT FAILED TO REMEDY THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS CURRENTLY BEING TOWED TO THE SAME DEALER FOR THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
WE HAVE HAD INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS WHERE THE CAR WILL NOT START. IT JUST MAKES A CLICKING SOUND. WE CAN JUMP START IT AND DRIVE IT AROUND AND SOMETIMES THE PROBLEM GOES AWAY FOR MONTHS AT A TIME. THEN RANDOMLY IT WILL NOT START AGAIN. I HAVE HAD THE BATTERY AND CHARGING SYSTEM CHECKED MULTIPLE TIMES BY AUTOZONE, ADVANCE AUTO, O'REILLY, AND WALMART SERVICE CENTER. THE BATTERY AND CHARGING SYSTEM ALWAYS REPORTS AS FINE. I RECENTLY HAD THE OIL CHANGED AT WALMART AND THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN COULD NOT GET IT TO START. HE JUMPED IT AND DROVE AROUND TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BAY TO CHECK THE BATTERY AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN. HE REMOVED THE CABLES AND CLEANED THE TERMINALS AND SPRAYED ON BATTERY POST PROTECTANT AND THEN JUMPED IT AGAIN. I DROVE HOME AND HAD NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS FOR OVER A MONTH AND NOW IT HAS HAPPENED AGAIN. THIS ALL STARTED AFTER HAVING THE FACTORY RECALL BATTERY MANAGEMENT SENSOR REPLACED IN LATE 2017. THIS IS AT LEAST THE EIGHT TIME OVER THE PAST 1+ YEARS. I WAS TOLD BY AT LEAST ONE AUTOZONE EMPLOYEE THAT THEY HAVE SEEN MANY HONDA VEHICLES WITH A SIMILAR PROBLEM BECAUSE THE BATTERY SENSOR OR MAIN FUSE BLOCK WILL INTERMITTENTLY BLOCK ANY VOLTAGE COMING FROM THE BATTERY INTO THE STARTING SYSTEM. IT IS RANDOM AND WILL SOMETIMES EVEN PREVENT A JUMP START UNLESS YOU TAP ON THE TOP OF THE SENSOR. AND THEN IT STARTS FINE. MY LOCAL HONDA DEALERSHIP CLAIMS THERE IS NO SUCH PROBLEM AND REFUSED TO CALL ME BACK TO HAVE THE VEHICLE CHECKED WHILE STILL UNDER WARRANTY. I AM NOW OUT OF WARRANTY DUE TO THE DATE OF PURCHASE AND NOT MILEAGE AND ALL THEY WILL SAY IS THAT IT SOUNDS LIKE MY STARTER IS BAD AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED WHICH WILL COST OVER $700 NOW THAT I AM OUT OF WARRANTY.
MY 2015 HONDA ACCORD HAD FUEL PRESSURE PROBLEM 2 MONTHS AGO. I HAD IT FIXED AT AN AUTO REPAIR. REPLACED FUEL PUMP, FUEL LINE, THROTTLE GASKETS FOLLOWING BY HONDA BULLETIN . IT COSTED ME $1200 FOR THIS REPAIR. TODAY, MARCH 20TH, 2019, I FOUND OUT HONDA PUBLICED A RECALL ON THIS FUEL PUMP ISSUES BUT MY VEHICLE WAS NOT ON THE LIST OF RECALL. TODAY MY VEHICLE HAD SAME ISSUES. CANNOT START.
CAR BATTERY ISSUES. WON'T HOLD A CHARGE. WILL NOT START AT RANDOM WEEKLY. JUST CLICKS EVEN AFTER DRIVING FOR 30 MINS AND RETURNING TO CAR. TOOK IT TO DEALER, BATTERY GOOD, ALTERNATOR GOOD, STARTER GOOD. 2DAYS LATER HAPPENS AGAIN. ESPECIALLY AFTER PUTTING IN FUEL. TURN CAR ON, BATTERY DEAD. RIDICULOUS. TAKE IT BACK TO DEALER. ALL DIAGNOSTICS GOOD. GO TO WORK, COME OUT TO LEAVE BATTERY DEAD. GET A JUMP FROM CO WORKER, DRIVE HOME. NEXT MORNING DEAD. TAKE IT TO AUTOZONE FOR CHARGE, BATTERY LOW ON CHARGE. GET BATTERY CHARGED 4 HOURS, DRIVE TO NY & BACK HOME. GO OUT TO 7ELEVEN BATTERY DEAD, CLICK CLICK. AUTOZONE OR DEALER REFUSE TO SELL BATTERY BECAUSE BATTERY READS GOOD. WHAT'S THE ISSUE. HONDA WITHOUT EVEN CHECKING CAR SAYS IT'S A MAJOR ISSUE WITH 'THESE' CARS AND $700 FOR NEW BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR!!! FOR WHAT? FORD DEALER (WHERE PURCHASED) GAVE THE 'ALL GOOD' AS DID AUTOZONE TESTING.
ON THURSDAY, JANUARY 17TH, 2019 THE SUNROOF EXPLODED ON MY 2015 ACCORD. I WAS DRIVING ON A 45 MPH HIGHWAY LEAVING A TRAFFIC LIGHT. THERE WAS NOTHING OVERHEAD AND NO PRIOR DAMAGE. THE RESIDUAL GLASS WAS POINTING UPWARDS AS IF TO HAVE EXPLODED FROM THE INSIDE OUT. THE SOUND WAS ALSO INDICATIVE OF AN EXPLOSION. AS A RESULT, I SWERVED AND ENDED UP WITH GLASS RAINING ON MY HEAD. PLEASE HELP WITH SOMETHING BEING DONE ABOUT THIS. HONDA WAS NOT HELPFUL AT ALL AND WAS VERY RUDE AND CALLOUS ABOUT THE SITUATION AND I'M NOW LEFT WITH A GAPING HOLE THAT I CANNOT AFFORD TO REPAIR.
UNABLE TO START THE VEHICLE. BATTERY TESTED FINE. HONDA DEALERSHIP TOLD ME TO REPLACE THE STARTER AND THE CAR STILL WON'T START TWO DAYS AFTER BEING REPLACED. THE RECALL FOR THE BATTERY SENSOR WAS ALSO DONE ON THE CAR AND THE CAR HAS BEEN VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF.
I AM HAVING THE PROBLEM WHEN I GO TO START MY CAR IT CLICKS BUT WON'T TURN OVER UNTIL AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS. NEW BATTERY NOT THE PROBLEM ALL LIGHTS ARE WORKING .IT BEGAN AFTER I WENT AND HAD A BATTERY SENSOR RECALL DONE. AFTER SEVERAL REACH OUTS I SEE THIS IS A MAJOR COMPLAINT ON THIS YEAR OF VEHICLE.
STICKING PISTON RINGS RESULTING IN HIGH ENGINE OIL CONSUMPTION: VEHICLE MAINTAINED BY DEALER INCLUDING OIL CHANGES. VEHICLE HAS NO OIL IN RESERVOIR BETWEEN OIL CHANGES. VEHICLE BURNS OIL. PISTON RINGS STICK AND IT CAUSES OIL TO BURN EXCESSIVELY. THERE ARE MULTIPLE CAMPAIGNS THAT HONDA KNOWS ABOUT. THEY KNEW ABOUT TSB 17-089 AND STILL GAVE MY VEHICLE A CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED STATUS WITHOUT FIXING THE ENGINE PROBLEM FIRST. IT IS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE A VEHICLE WITH NO OIL IN IT!
MY 2015 ACCORD HAS APPROX 62,000 MILES, I HAVE OWNED THE VEHICLE SINCE NEW AND IT HAS BEEN 100% MAINTAINED PRECISELY TO ALL MAINTENANCE SCHEDULES BY SCOTT HONDA OF WEST CHESTER PA SINCE NEW. FOLLOWING A DISSATISFACTORY SERVICE VISIT TO SCOTT HONDA, I OPENED HOOD TO PERFORM MINOR FLUIDS CHECK, AND OBSERVED ALARMING CORROSION OF BATTERY TERMINALS. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS LEVEL OF ACCUMULATION OF CORROSION ON BATTERY TERMINALS FOR ANY VEHICLE IN MY LIFE. THIS IS NOT NORMAL. I DISCONNECTED, CAREFULLY INSPECTED AND CLEANED BOTH POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE TERMINALS AND HARDWARE. THE POSITIVE CABLE FITTING IS DISINTEGRATED AND NEARLY THE THICKNESS REMAINING EQUIVALENT TO A PIECE OF "ALUMINUM FOIL". REMOVING THE FINISHING TAPE OF POSITIVE HARNESS REVEALS HEAVY GREEN/BLUE CORROSION BEYOND BATTERY FITTING AND CABLE SWAGE. ALSO OBSERVED HEAVILY CORRODED NEGATIVE BATTERY CONNECTION BEHIND DRIVER-SIDE WHEEL. NEGATIVE TERMINALS AND CONNECTIONS ARE ALSO CORRODED AT BATTERY AND BATTERY SENSOR. BATTERY SENSOR WAS SERVICED IMMEDIATELY UPON RECALL NOTICE BY SCOTT HONDA. BATTERY IS OEM ORIGINAL AND EXHIBITS NO SIGNS OF BATTERY PROBLEMS OR STARTING...BEYOND CORROSION. SCOTT HONDA NEVER ALERTED OF THE BATTERY CORROSION MATTER, NOR ASSERTED ANY SERVICE NEED OR PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE TO CORRECT CONDITION. THUS, THERE VERY MANY "SAFETY CHECKLISTS" AND STATE INSPECTIONS ARE LARGELY SYSTEMATIC "WINDOW DRESSING". SCOTT HONDA HAS IGNORED MY WRITTEN REQUESTS AND PHOTOS FOR EXPLANATION, ROOT CAUSE, OR FOLLOW UP. I WILL SEEK COMPENSATION FROM AMERICAN HONDA TO REPLACE ALL BATTERY CABLE HARNESSES AND INSPECTION OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEM AT HONDA EXPENSE. PHOTOS ARE ATTACHED. I URGE ACCORD OWNERS TO VISUALLY PERFORM THEIR OWN UNDER-HOOD INSPECTIONS....REGARDLESS THE AMOUNT INSPECTIONS THEY PERCEIVE TO BE PERFORMED BY DEALER.
THE CAR FAILS TO START AFTER SEVERAL TURNS OF THE KEY UP TO 12 TIMES BEFORE STARTING. ONCE IT DOES START, IT STARTS LIKE THERE ISN'T A PROBLEM AT ALL. CAR RARELY STARTS ON THE FIRST TURN OF THE KEY. THIS HAS HAPPENED SINCE ABOUT 47,000 MILES. CAR CURRENTLY HAS 51,000

IN ADDITION, THE TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND AN ABNORMAL SCREECHING NOISE EMERGED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 55,000.

THE DEALER (BRANDON HONDA, 9209 E ADAMO DR, TAMPA, FL 33619, (813) 664-1234) ACKNOWLEDGED THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE CONTACT WOULD BE CHARGED FOR THE REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE CONTACT HAD A LIFETIME WARRANTY WITH HONDA, BUT WAS NOT SURE IF THE STARTER ISSUE WAS COVERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
HAD MY 2015 HONDA ACCORD EX-L IN FOR SERVICE TODAY, AND ASKED THEM TO CHECK THE BRAKES BECAUSE THE PEDAL WAS SOFT AGAIN. IN THE LAST YEAR TO TRY AND CORRECT THE SOFT PEDAL I HAVE REPLACED THE PADS AND ROTORS, AND A FEW MONTHS HAD THE BRAKES BLED. DEALERSHIP TELLS ME THEY HAVE SEEN ISSUES WITH THE MASTER CYLINDER, LUCKY I HAD THE EXTENDED WARRANTY SO IT WILL ONLY COST ME THE DEDUCTIBLE BUT THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG HAVE MASTER CYLINDER PROBLEMS AT 36000 MILES.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BOYD HONDA OF SOUTH HILL VIRGINIA (1121 E ATLANTIC ST, SOUTH HILL, VA 23970, (434) 447-3111) WHERE THE BATTERY SENSOR WAS REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BATTERY SENSOR REPLACEMENT WAS TO PREVENT THE BATTERY FROM DYING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 09195187. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 52,000.
2015 HONDA ACCORD. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARD TO BATTERY SENSOR SAFETY RECALL NOTICE. *AS *TR
HONDA ACCORD WINDOWS OPENING WHEN CAR IS LOCKED. THIS IS A WELL DOCUMENTED ISSUE E.G. SEE HTTPS://WWW.CARGURUS.COM/CARS/DISCUSSION-C23084_DS575177 IT HAS HAPPENED TO ME TWICE WHILE THE CAR IS PARKED OUTSIDE IN MY DRIVEWAY DURING RAINY WEATHER. HONDA DOES DOCUMENT IN THE OWNER'S MANUAL THAT REMOTE OPENING OF WINDOWS IS POSSIBLE IN CERTAIN MODELS WITH A DOUBLE PRESS AND HOLD OF THE DOOR OPEN BUTTON ON THE KEY FOB. SO I CANNOT SAY FOR CERTAIN THAT IT WAS NOT AN INADVERTENT PRESS SEQUENCE ON MY KEY FOB SINCE I DID HAVE IT IN MY POCKET WITH OTHER KEYS IN MY HOUSE. HOWEVER NOTE THAT THIS POSSIBLE INADVERTENT PRESS HAS HAPPENED TWICE - AND OBVIOUSLY CAN HAPPEN AGAIN. I WOULD ALSO SPECULATE THAT SOME RANDOM STRAY SIGNAL MAY TRIGGER THIS, TOTALLY OUT OF MY CONTROL. KEY FOBS THAT CAN ACTUATE WINDOWS AND DOORS INADVERTENTLY ARE UNSAFE AND A PROCESS NEEDS TO BE MADE TO DEACTIVATE THEM UNTIL A DESIRED ACTION IS SPECIFICALLY MADE BY THE DRIVER.

I TOOK IT TO THE HONDA DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID MY BATTERY IS 100%, MY STARTER IS FINE, AND MY ALTERNATOR IS FINE AS WELL. AN HOUR AFTER LEAVING THE DEALERSHIP IT DIDN'T START AGAIN. CONNECTIONS AREN'T CORRODED. I HAVE TO ATTACH A BATTERY JUMP START PACK TO START MY CAR EVERY TIME TO FAILS. I HAVE READ FORUMS THAT HAVE CLAIMED THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH FAULTY STARTERS FOR 2013-2015 HONDA ACCORDS, BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE A LEGAL RECALL. MY CAR IS JUST UNDER 50K MILES AT 49,600, AND LIKELY IS JUST OUT OF THE WARRANTY MILEAGE.

THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO GILLMAN HONDA FORT BEND (26029 SOUTHWEST FWY, ROSENBERG, TX 77471, (832) 361-3804), BUT THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO REPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT LINKED THE FAILURE TO TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN NUMBER: A16-002. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 31,000.
I HAVE A 2015 HONDA ACCORD WITH ABOUT 34,000 MILES ON IT. A FEW WEEKS AGO I NOTICED I STARTED HAVING TROUBLE TURNING ON MY CAR. WELL THIS MORNING IT JUST WOULDNT START. THE BATTERY IS NEW. WHY ISNT THIS A RECALL?
STARTER DIES NOT START ALL THE TIME. PRESS BUTTON AND HEAR IT GRIND. CAR AS $42,000 MILES. DEALER SAYS NOT UNDER WARRANTY. I HAVE READ TONS OF COMPLAINTS THAT HONDA KNOWS ABOUT THIS. IT MAY STRAND ME IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER. ISSUE IS WITH 2013-2015 V6 ACCORD. DEALER WANTS $800 TO REPLACE WITH SAME DEFECTIVE PART.

THE DEALER ALSO STATED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS; HOWEVER, AN UNKNOWN TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN HAD BEEN ISSUED REGARDING THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT UNDER WARRANTY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 82,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.
THE STARTER BUTTON ONLY PRODUCES A CLICKING SOUND WHEN DEPRESSED. THE ENGINE WILL NOT TURN OVER AND DOES NOT START. THE CONDITION IS A SAFETY MATTER AS IT MAKES THE CAR UNUSABLE AND NOT AVAILABLE FOR EMERGENCIES.
I BOUGHT THIS CAR 8/7/16- CERTIFIED FROM DUBLIN HONDA. BASED ON MODEL YEAR I SHOULDN'T HAD TO DEAL WITH A DEFECTIVE STARTER. REPLACED APPROX 12/2018. CAR WOULD GIVE ME A HARD TIME STARTING IT . I DRIVE 10 MILES/ DAY TO AND FROM HOME /WORK

EXCESSIVE INSIDE TIRE TRED WEAR ON ALL 4 TIRES. I HAVE HAD A 4-WHEEL ALIGNMENT DONE TWICE THIS YEAR ALONE. EACH TIME THE MECHANICS ARE EXPLAINING TO ME THAT THE ALIGNMENT IS TO FACTORY SPECS AND THERE ISN'T ANY MECHANICAL ISSUE THAT SHOULD BE CAUSING THIS UNEVEN WEAR. SINCE PURCHASING THE CAR IN OCT. 2015 NEW, I AM ONLY GETTING HALF THE WEAR MILEAGE THE TIRE MANUFACTURER SAYS I SHOULD. UPON DOING SOME RESEACH ONLINE IN CAR FORUMS THERE SEEMS TO BE AN ISSUE WITH THE FACTORY REAR SUSPENSION, CAMBER SETTINGS, THAT IS CAUSING MANY HONDA ACCORD OWNERS TO EXPERIENCE THE SAME UNEVEN WEAR ON THE INTERIOR SIDE OF THE TIRE TREAD. I BOUGHT A 2015 HONDA ACCORD ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO WITH 40,000 MILES ON IT. AT 42,000 MILES, I WAS LEAVING IN THE MORNING FOR WORK AND HAD TO JUMP MY VEHICLE. IT THEN HAPPENED EACH TIME THAT I TRIED TO START MY CAR. THE ALTERNATOR HAD GONE COMPLETELY OUT AND I HAD TO PAY $700 TO FIX. AN ALTERNATOR SHOULD NEVER GO OUT THAT EARLY IN A VEHICLE AT JUST 42,000 MILES.
THE RIGHT REAR DOOR DOES NOT OPEN WITH THE REMOTE, OR WITH THE LOCK/UNLOCK INSIDE BUTTON OR MANUALLY. THE SYSTEM IS FROZEN ON THAT SIDE CREATING A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION FOR MY CHILDREN THAT HAVE TO TRAVEL IN THE REAR SEAT. THERE IS NO WAY TO OPEN THE REAR DOOR IN CASE OF ACCIDENT/FIRE OR ANY OTHER EMERGENCY.

REPLACEMENT ISN'T COVERED BY THE REMAINING WARRANTY (BUMPER TO BUMPER IS EXPIRED, BUT POWER TRAIN HASN'T). DEALER REPLACEMENT QUOTE IS $693.80.

MY CAR SOMETIMES EXPERIENCES HARD START AND THEN I WILL GET MULTIPLE ALERTS - ENGINE LIGHT, CHECK STEERING LIGHT, TRACTION LIGHT AND TIRE PRESSURE LOW LIGHT ON. I CHECKED THE INTERNET AND MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN POSTED WITH SIMILAR ISSUE AND SYMPTOMS.

OFTEN STARTS AFTER 2-3 ATTEMPTS. NOT RESOLVED BY REPLACING BATTERY, RESOLVING BATTERY SENSOR RECALL, OR CHECKING FUEL PUMP. PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE STARTER AND HAS LEFT ME STRANDED WHEN CAR DOES NOT START.

I HAD TO HAVE IT BOOSTED SEVERAL TIMES, I TOOK IT TO A HONDA DEALER WHO DID A THOROUGH CHECK AND WHO CLAIM THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE BATTERY. EVEN BEING VERY CAREFUL ABOUT NOT LEAVING ANYTHING ELECTRIC WHEN THE POWER IS NOT ON, I STILL EXPERIENCE TREMENDOUS PROBLEMS WITH STARTING THE CAR; I HOPE I WONT HAVE TO CHANGE THE BATTERY AT 34,000 MILES AND BARELY 40 MONTHS OLD CAR. ALSO WHILE IN MOTION I EXPERIENCED THE CAR WANTING TO STALL, WITH THE POWER OF THE CAR SHUTTING DOWN FOR A SECOND OR 2. THERE WAS A RECALL HAVING TO DO WITH THE BATTERY.
I HAD MY BATTERY CHECK DUE TO A BATTERY RECALL FROM HONDA. AFTER THEY FIXED THE ISSUE. I EXPERIENCE A HARD START AND THEN AFTER THE CAR START. I SEE ENGINE LIGHT TURNED ON AND OTHER WARNING LIGHTS. ENGINE CODE P2101.
WHILE DRIVING ON I-75 AT 65 MPH THE CAR SUDDENLY MOVED LEFT AND THE STEERING BECAME VERY HARD TO TURN. THEN THE CAR MOVED SHARPLY RIGHT AND LEFT THE ROADWAY AND STRUCK THE GUARDRAIL DAMASGING THE RIGHT FRONT. THE DEALER, SHOTTENKIRK HONDA IN CARTERSVILLE,GA SAID THEY COULD DO NOTHING AS THE CAR WAS DAMAGED. THE CAR WAS REPAIRED BY A BODY SHOP. THEY SENT IT OUT TO HAVE THE ALIGNMENT DONE. WHEN THE CAR WAS RETURNED TO THE DEALER TO HAVE THE STEERING CHECKED THEY SAID THE ALIGNMENT WAS OFF AND THE RIGHT FRONT STRUT WAS BENT. THEY REPAIRED IT AND DID THE ALIGNMENT. THE DEALER SAYS THAT THE DIAGNOSTIC CHECK DOES NOT SHOW ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE STEERING. THE REASON IS THAT IT IS TO LONG A TIME SINCE THE INCIDENT. I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND THE CAR MAY NOT BE SAFE TO DRIVE.

THERE SEEMS TO BE A HIGH RATE OF STARTER FAILURES ON NEWER HONDA ACCORDS, WHICH MAY NECESSITATE A RECALL.
