1.When slowing down my vehicle kicks like it is choking. It is available for inspection upon request. I checked my Honda link app the week of October 21, 2024 to see if my vehicle needed a service and I noticed the recall on my vehicle for the 2023-25 Multi-Model High-Pressure Fuel Pump Stop Sale. 2. I learned through the Honda link app that there is a recall. Unfortunately, I was unaware of the recall prior to the week of October 21, 2024. 3. Yes. The problem has been confirmed by a dealer and the corporate office. 4. Honda vehicles have been inspected and a recall has been issued. “Due to improper production of the high-pressure fuel pump, cracks can form at the solenoid core component of the fuel pump. As a result, a fuel leak can occur in lower mileage vehicles when the high-pressure fuel pump is in operation.” Safety Risk: “If a fuel leak occurs in the presence of an ignition source, the risk of a fire, crash, or injury are increased.” 5. There were no warning lamps or messages prior to or after any symptoms. The car seemed to choke as I applied the brakes to slow down during the week of October 21, 2024. I noticed the recall on my Honda link app during the week of October 21, 2024. Currently, I am awaiting the remedy. I cannot drive my vehicle because of the safety hazard.
