TAKATA INFLATOR: I.M A DRIVER ON MY VEICLE THIS IS THE WAY I SUSTENT MY SELF. WORKING AS "UBER DRIVER". MY CONCERN IS ABOUT THE SAFETY ISUES FOR ME AND MY PASANGERS.. I KNOW THEREIS ARECALL FOR THIS VEICLE, THEREFORE IT WOULD BE REQUIRED TO TAKECARE!. ALSO MY WINDOWS POWER IS ALLREADY MAKING A BIG NOISE, ON THE DOORS LOCKS, WITH THE RISK OF SHOOTING OF AT ANY TIME. ON TUESDAY AT 5:PM I GOT MY KCAR KEY LOOK INSIDE OF THE CAR WILLE IT WAS ON. BECAUSE THE LOCKS GOT LOCK BY IT SELF. CAUSING FOR ME TO CALL TRIPLE AAA. MY VEICLE WAS ON. AT THE PARKING LOT OF RALPHS IN THE CITY OF BREA CA, 92821. BY BREA BLVD, & IMPERIAL HWY. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE.

TAKATA RECALL I CONTACTED HONDA ON 6/23 TO FIND OUT WHAT HONDA DEALER WOULD BE REPLACING THE TAKATA AIRBAG IN MY CRV. THEY INFORMED ME IT WOULD BE BARON HONDA. I, IN TURN, CALLED BARON HONDA. AS OF TODAY/ 9/12/16 I HAVE NOT HAD A CALL FOR THE REPLACEMENT, IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN 60 DAYS, WHAT DO I DO NOW?

TAKATA RECALL RECEIVED NOTIFICATION IN SPRING THAT MY TAKATA AIRBAG WAS RECALLED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY, AND I WOULD RECEIVE NOTIFICATION FROM THE DEALER AS SOON AS AIRBAGS WERE IN STOCK AND AVAILABLE FOR REPLACEMENT. I NEVER RECEIVED NOTIFICATION (INCLUDING TO DATE.....SEVERAL MONTHS LATER). WHEN I SCHEDULED ROUTINE MAINTENANCE ON MY CRV IN JUNE, THE ONLINE SYSTEM ASKED ME IF I ALSO WANTED TO RESCHEDULE TO HAVE MY AIRBAG REPLACED AT THE SAME TIME. I DID, AND RECEIVED CONFIRMATION THAT WAS PART OF MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. WHEN I WENT FOR MY MAINTENANCE APPOINTMENT, I WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WERE NO AIRBAGS AND THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHY I HAD REQUESTED TO HAVE IT REPLACED BECAUSE THEY HAD NOT NOTIFIED ME ANY WERE AVAILABLE. I WAS AGAIN TOLD THEY WOULD LET ME KNOW WHEN THERE WERE AIRBAGS IN STOCK AND I COULD SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE THE WORK DONE FOR THE RECALL. I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED THAT ANY ARE AVAILABLE AND THAT I CAN SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE THE RECALLED, DANGEROUS AIRBAG REPLACED AS PART OF THE TAKATA RECALL.

TAKATA RECALL. AIRBAG STILL HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED, ALTHOUGH THE RECALL HAPPENED IN SPRING 2016 AND WORK WAS PROMISED BY JUNE 2016.
DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR FAILS. FRONT PASSENGER DOOR WILL NO LONGER LOCK, CAUSING THE DOORS TO TRY AND REPEATEDLY LOCK WHILE DRIVING. THE DOOR LOCKS FOR A BRIEF SECOND AND THEN THE LOCK SLIDES OPEN. THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM. HONDA ISSUED A RECALL FOR THE DRIVER DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR ONLY. THEY ISSUED A WARRANTY EXTENSION FOR THE REMAINING DOORS UNTIL NOVEMBER 2015, BUT THE PASSENGER FRONT DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR ON MY CAR DID NOT HAVE ANY ISSUES UNTIL JUNE 2016 SO THE DEALERSHIP WILL DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD AND A KNOWN PROBLEM. HONDA SHOULD RECALL ALL 4 DOOR LOCK ACTUATORS.

EVER SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR EVERY TIME THE WEATHER GETS HOT AND I HAVE MY AC ON OR TRY TO START THE CAR IT TURNS OFF. EVEN WHEN I'M DRIVING HE CAR TURNS OFF I HAVE TOOK IT TO MECHANIC SHOPS AND HEY HAVE RAN IT THROUGH THE DIAGNOSTICS AND STILL CANNOT FIND THE PROBLEM. I HAVE CHANGE THE BATTERY,FUEL PUMP, ALTERNATOR, IGNITION SWITCH, FUEL RELAY, AND GAVE IT A TUNE UP BUT STILL CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHY IT TURNS OFF AND HONDA SAYS MY CAR IS FINE BUT IT'S NOT! PLEASE I NEED ANSWERS OF WHY MY CAR IS DOING THIS

TAKATA RECALL; CALLED 888-234-2138 ON 6/2/16 AND SPOKE WITH HOSEA, WHO ASSURED ME THAT I WOULD BE CONTACTED IN EARLY JULY 2016 TO HAVE MY AIRBAG REPLACED, HE TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS ALSO A RECALL ON THE DOOR ACTUATOR AND THAT BOTH WOULD BE ADDRESSED AND FIXED AT THE SAME TIME. I'M STILL WAITING ON THE CALL ... THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!! HONDA CLAIMED TO HAVE CONCERNS FOR MY AND MY FAMILY'S SAFETY,BUT THIS IS A SITTING TIME BOMB AND I ASSURE YOU, LEGAL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN IF ANY INJURY IS INCURRED. THIS IS MY PRIMARY CAR AND I HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE, BUT TO CONTINUE DRIVING IT. PLEASE DO WHAT WAS PROMISED AND TAKE THE NECESSARY ACTION TO CORRECT THIS!

NEEDS INCENTIVE TO MAKE THIS A PRIORITY. *I RECEIVED A NOTICE IN THE MAIL IN MARCH/APRIL 2016 SAYING THAT MY CAR WAS SUBJECT TO THE TAKATA RECALL, THE REQUIRED PARTS WERE ON BACKORDER AND WOULD BE IN JUNE 2016. *AT THE BEGINNING OF JUNE 2016, I CALLED OPEN ROAD HONDA IN EDISON AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE WAITING FOR PARTS AND I WOULD BE CALLED SHORTLY. * I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM CNN WITH AN URGENT MESSAGE SAYING THAT THE RECENT AIRBAG RECALL WAS A SERIOUS LIFE SAFETY ISSUE TO DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS -- MORE SERIOUS THAN ORIGINALLY THOUGHT --AND THE CARS SHOULD NOT BE DRIVEN. *ON JUNE 30TH, 2016, I CALLED OPEN ROAD HONDA IN EDISON AND WAS TOLD THAT THE PARTS WERE ON BACKORDER AND WOULD BE IN 3 WEEKS. I EXPLAINED THAT I HAD RECEIVED THE NOTICE IN THE MAIL IN APRIL/JUNE, CALLED IN EARLY JUNE, RECEIVED A CNN EMAIL AND WAS VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY ISSUE. THE HONDA DEALER SAID THAT THEY PLACED THE ORDER FOR THE PARTS. THEY TOLD ME THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE WERE INVOLVED AND THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. *ON JULY 21, 2016, I CALLED OPEN ROAD HONDA IN EDISON AGAIN AND WAS TOLD THAT THE PARTS WERE ON BACKORDER AND THEY HAD NO IDEA WHEN THEY WOULD BE IN. THE MANAGER [XXX] WAS UNABLE TO HELP ME, HAD NO IDEA WHEN THE PARTS WOULD ARRIVE, AND HUNG UP ON ME. THE MANAGER AND DEALER DO NOT SEEM TO CARE AT ALL ABOUT LIFE SAFETY. I RECEIVED A NOTICE OF RECALL IN DECEMBER 2015 TELLING ME OF THE DANGER THAT EXISTS IN MY HONDA'S AIRBAGS. HOWEVER, THE LETTER STATED THAT THE PARTS WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL JUNE 2016 AND TO CONTACT MY DEALER AT THAT TIME. I CALLED ON 06/01/2016 AND WAS TOLD THE PARTS HAD TO BE ORDERED. IT IS NOW 07/25/2016 AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE A REPLACEMENT. NOW I HAVE A SECOND RECALL ABOUT PASSENGER AIRBAGS DEGRADING AND HAVE OVER-AGGRESSIVE COMBUSTION. THE AMOUNT OF STRESS THAT THESE LETTERS CAUSE ABOUT POSSIBLE DEATH YET WE CAN'T GET PROBLEMS FIXED FOR OVER SEVEN MONTHS IS UNACCEPTABLE AS MY VEHICLE IS MY ONLY MODE OF TRANSPORTATION.

TAKATA RECALL: MY WIFES HONDA AIRBAG LIGHT HAS COME ON TWICE ALREADY, ONCE WHILE DRIVING AND ONCE WHILE PARKED. I CALED HONDA DEALER AND THEY SAID NOT TO WORRY ABOUT IT THE VEHICLE IS SAFE TO DRIVE. THEY CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT TO DO THE RECALL. DO WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MY WIFE OR MYSELF GETS HURT OR KILLED BEFORE SOMETHING GETS DONE?? I BELIEVE HONDA SHOULD AT LEAST PROVIDE A RENTAL VEHICLE UNTIL THIS GETS FIXED. IF HONDA KEEPS DENYING TO FIX OR STALLING TO GET MY WIFES CR-V TAKEN CARE OF, I WILL BE FORCED TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION.

TAKATA RECALL - I RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER IN THE MAIL AND CONTACTED MY LOCAL DEALER. THEY VERIFIED THE RECALL THROUGH THE HONDA WEBSITE (IT WASN'T SHOWING IN THE NHTSA SITE YET).THEY SET A REPLACEMENT APPOINTMENT FOR JANUARY 2017!!! MY CONCERN IS WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS WITH MY AIRBAG BEFORE THIS DATE? WHY IS THE TIMING SO FAR OUT? CAN THEY SHUT OFF MY AIRBAG UNTIL THEN?

THE CONTACT HAD TO REACH THEIR HAND THROUGH THE PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW AND OPEN THE DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE. ONCE THEY EXITED THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT COULD NOT GET THE DOORS TO UNLOCK EVEN WITH THE KEY FOB. THE CONTACT HAD TO CALL ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE TO HELP UNLOCK THE DOORS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HONDA OF KIRKLAND (12420 NE 85TH ST, KIRKLAND, WA 98033) WHERE THEY REPLACED THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR PER SERVICE BULLETIN NUMBER: 14-083. A YEAR AND A HALF LATER, THE SAME FAILURE OCCURRED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. THE CONTACT PAID TO HAVE THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR REPLACED. FURTHERMORE, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR DRIVER DOOR WOULD NOT LOCK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE WARRANTY HAD EXPIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND WAS UNABLE TO ASSIST. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000.
