SUV WOULD NOT START. VEHICLE PARKED IN PARKING LOT. OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE 27F. BATTERY CHECKED OK. DASH BOARD LIGHTS CAME ON BUT ENGINE WOULD NOT START. ATTEMPTED 6-7 TIMES. DASH BOARD LIGHTS JUST FLICKERED WITH NO RESPONSE FROM ENGINE. TURNED OFF IGNITION FOR 25-30 MINUTES AND ENGINE STARTED WITH ANOTHER ATTEMPT. VEHICLE DRIVEN TO LOCAL HONDA DEALERSHIP.
WHEN CAR IS ON IDLE WITH DRIVE GEAR , THE CAR GETS VIBRATE AND IT GETS WORSE WHEN AIR CONDITION IS TURN ON. AFTER THE REPAIR OF SERVICE BULLETIN 15-046, THE ISSUE IS VIBRATING AND IT GETS WORSE WHEN TURN AC ON. THE FIRST SERVICE WAS ON 1/7/16 WITH 136 MILAGES AND THE SECOND SERVICE WAS ON 1/19/16 WITH 678 MILAGES WITH NO RESOLUTION. WHEN I DRIVE TO WORK, THE VIBRATION AND SHAKING CAUSE MY BODY GET NAUSEATED AND HEADACHES.
BOUGHT A HONDA CRV-LX 2015 TWO MONTHS AGO ONLY TO HAVE A VIBRATION PROBLEM AFTER THREE WEEKS. HONDAS FIX WAS TO PUT NEW HEAD REST WITH SHORTER POST AND BUSHINGS UNDER RADIATOR, REAR TAIL GATE , TRANSMISSION AND ENGINE SO AS TO MASK VIBRATION PROBLEM. AFTER DOING THIS THE STEERING BECAME HARD NOT LIKE IT WAS WHEN WE FIRST GOT THE VEHICLE, THE STEERING GOES FROM VERY EASY TO ALMOST MANUAL I CONSIDER THIS A SAFETY PROBLEM. UNFORTUNATELY HONDA OF AMERICA WILL NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IT WAS A DESIGN FLAW AND THE CAR SHOULD NOT BE SOLD. IT VIBRATED AT A STOP VERY BAD THEN IT FEELS LIKE YOU HAVE STUDDED SNOW TIRES ON AT 40 TO 50 MILES AN HOUR WHICH THEY CLAIM IS A SOFTWARE FIX THERE IS A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT IN CALIFORNIA AGAINST HONDA FOR THESE PROBLEMS.
ON THREE SEPERATE OCCASIONS A WARNING LIGHT IN THE MIDI WINDOW AN ERROR MESSAGE COMES UP: "SOME DRIVER SYSTEMS CANNOT OPERATE"
BATTERY HAS DIED EVERY YEAR. I HAVE REPLACED 5 BATTERIES. A DRAIN ON THE BATTERY HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AT ENGINE FUSE #29. REMOVING THE FUSE STOPS THE DRAIN ON THE BATTERY. THE CAR WILL NOT START DUE TO THE DEAD BATTERY AFTER SITTING IDLE FOR ONE DAY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HONDA CR-V. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE FAILURE RECURRED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,000. THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONSUMER, THE EXTRA FLOOR MAT WAS SLIDING AND BLOCKING THE ACCELERATOR. THE FLOOR MAT, HAS SINCE BEEN REMOVED. UPDATED 04/13/16.*JB
TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT GOES ON EVEN THOUGH FULL PRESSURE IS ASSURED IN ALL FOUR TIRES. I HAVE READ SEVERAL SIMILIAR COMPLAINTS ON THE INTERNET FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS.
VIBRATING WHEN STOP RUNNING AND RPM RISES WHEN GOING DOWN ON A HILL EVEN WHE PUSH THE BRAKES RISES TO 2500 RPM BRAKES OR TIRES SOUND LIKE GRINDING WHEN COMING TO A STOP
WE PURCHASED A NEW HONDA CRV 2015 DECEMBER OF 2015. THE SAME WEEK WE TOOK THE CAR HOME, WE NOTICED A VERY STRONG VIBRATION AT IDLE WHEN THE CAR IS IN GEAR, FOR EXAMPLE, WHEN STOPPING AT A RED LIGHT. THE VIBRATION IS SO STRONG THAT IT FEELS AS IF ONE IS SITTING IN A 'MASSAGING CHAIR'. WE (MY WIFE AND I) HAVE GOTTEN DIZZY AND NAUSEATED FROM THE VIBRATION. WE NOTIFIED THE DEALERSHIP AND AMERICAN HONDA IMMEDIATELY. SINCE THEN, THE DEALERSHIP ATTEMPTED TO REPAIR THE CAR 5 TIMES AND WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. I THEN REQUESTED THEM TO BUY THE CAR BACK AND THEY DENIED IT. THEY EVEN SAID THAT THEY WERE NOT GOING TO REPAIR MY CAR ANYMORE FOR THE SAME ISSUE. THE LAST TIME I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP WAS SATURDAY FEBRUARY, 13 2016. IN THE REPAIR ORDER, THE DEALERSHIP CLEARLY STATES THAT THE VIBRATION WAS PRESENT AFTER THE REPAIR.

INTERMITTENT VIBRATION WHILE AT IDLE OR 2200 RPM WHILE DRIVING. TAKEN TO DEALERSHIP FOR RESOLUTION 3-4 TIMES BUT THE PROBLEM PERSISTS. WAS ADVISED BY DEALERSHIP WHERE VEHICLE WAS BOUGHT TO SEEK HELP FROM ANOTHER DEALERSHIP. MANUFACTURER SOFTWARE UPGRADE DID NOT ADDRESS THE ISSUE, WE WERE EVEN ADVISED THE SOFTWARE UPDATE DECREASE FUEL EFFICIENCY BY 20%. BRAND NEW CAR RUNNING LIKE A WORN-OUT VEHICLE. HONDA SAYS IT IS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE, FIRMLY DISAGREE, EVENTUALLY CONSISTENT VIBRATIONS WILL CAUSE PARTS TO LOOSEN. DO WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR ACCIDENTS TO HAPPEN BEFORE HONDA AND THE GOVERNMENT TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE? WHEN WILL CONSUMER SAFETY PROTECTION COME FIRST BEFORE PROFITS AND REPUTATION? TOOK VEHICLE FOR SERVICE ON THIS DATE. TOLD SERVICE TECH ABOUT VIBRATION, WINDOWS RATTLING WHEN HALF WAY DOWN, AND HOW MUCH AIR TO PUT IN TIRES. THE TIRES WERE TESTING FOR 37 POUNDS BUT DOOR SAID 32. TECH CAME BACK AND STATED THAT HONDA WAS AWARE OF THE VIBRATION ISSUE. HE STATED THAT THEY CHECKED THE WINDOWS ON OTHER VEHICLES AND ALL OF THEM WERE DOING THE SAME THING. HE ALSO STATED THAT IT HAD JUST CAME UP ON THE COMPUTER THAT HONDA COULD NOW FIX THE VIBRATION ISSUE AND HE WOULD CALL ABOUT WEDNESDAY (9TH) TO LET ME KNOW WHEN THE PARTS WOULD BE THERE. HAVEN'T HEARD FROM HIM SINCE. CR-V STILL HAS VIBRATION ISSUE. TIRES LOOK LOW WITH 32 POUNDS OF AIR PRESSURE. WHEN YOU COME TO A STOP, THE VIBRATION IS REALLY BAD.
VEHICLE SHUDDERS AND VIBRATES UNDER LIGHT TO MODERATE ACCELERATION FROM 15 TO 40 MPH. DEALER ACKNOWLEDGES SAME PROBLEM WITH OTHER 2015 CRV VEHICLES WITH THE CVT TRANSMISSION. VEHICLE MUST BE DRIVEN IN LOWER GEAR ('SPORT") IN ORDER FOR SYMPTOMS TO DISAPPEAR UNTIL VEHICLE REACHES 50+ MPH. DEALER SAYS FIX MUST COME FROM HONDA IN THE FORM OF A SOFTWARE CHANGE.

CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE VIBRATION PROBLEMS AND TRANSMISSION/ENGINE ACCELERATION ISSUES. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE VIBRATIONS DID NOT COMPLETELY STOPPED, IT ONLY GOT BETTER. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HONDA CR-V. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND THE ACC AND BRAKE SENSOR INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART ON THE FIFTH ATTEMPT, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED PER SERVICE BULLETIN NUMBER: 10086143 (POWER TRAIN, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). IN ADDITION, THE DOORS LOCKED AND UNLOCKED INDEPENDENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER, BUT THE FAILURE WAS UNABLE TO BE DUPLICATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN ..UPDATED 09/11/17 *BF *AS
SUNROOF EXPLOSION: DRIVING ON INTERSTATE, APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH IN LIGHT RAIN WHEN A LOUD SHOTGUN-LIKE EXPLOSION ABOVE MY HEAD OCCURRED. NO OTHER VEHICLES WERE NEAR AT THE TIME AND I WAS NOT NEAR AN OVERPASS. ALL WINDOWS OF THE VEHICLE WERE CLOSED. PULLED OVER AND DISCOVERED A JAGGED V SHAPED HOLE IN THE MID/RIGHT SIDE OF THE SUNROOF OF THE VEHICLE. HOWEVER, THERE WAS ONLY A SMALL AMOUNT OF GLASS BETWEEN THE SUNROOF GLASS AND THE SUNSHADE, INDICATING AN OUTWARD FORCE. TOOK THE VEHICLE TO HONDA DEALER WHERE PURCHASED FOR WARRANTY REPAIR. THEY FIRST REFUSED, STATING THAT THEIR TECHNICIAN DETERMINED THE DAMAGE WAS CAUSED BY A ROCK STRIKE. I DISAGREED, SHOWING PHOTOS TAKEN RIGHT AFTER THE OCCURRENCE THAT DEMONSTRATE AN OUTWARD FORCE. I ALSO POINTED TO CURRENT NHTSA REPORTS, NEWS ARTICLES DOCUMENTING SEVERAL HUNDRED OTHER CASES IN VARIOUS MAKES AND MODELS OF VEHICLES WITH SUNROOFS AND THE IMPROBABILITY OF A ROCK COMING FROM THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE TO STRIKE DOWNWARD ON THE ONLY GLASS STRUCTURE AVAILABLE WITHOUT LEAVING ANY TRACE OF OCCURRENCE ANYWHERE ELSE ON THE VEHICLE . THE DEALERSHIP CONTACTED HONDA USA MAINTENANCE WHO ALSO REFUSED TO HONOR THE VEHICLE WARRANTY, REASONING THAT ALTHOUGH THIS PROBLEM IS WELL DOCUMENTED BY THE NHTSA IN OTHER VEHICLES, THERE IS NO DOCUMENTED RECORD OF AN OCCURRENCE WITH THIS PARTICULAR MODEL IN THIS PARTICULAR YEAR. ACCORDING TO THE DEALER THEY CAN ONLY COMPARE APPLES TO APPLES AND JUST BECAUSE 2011 HONDA ACCORDS HAD THIS DOCUMENTED SUNROOF PROBLEM, 2015 HONDA CR-VS WITH THE SAME SYMPTOMS ARE A DIFFERENT PROBLEM.
I PURCHASED MY CAR IN MAY THE RECALL WAS ISSUED IN MARCH SO OBVIOUSLY THEY DID NOT PULL THE 137 CARS AFFECTED. AFTER 6000 MILES WITH NO WARNING, NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT NO SAFETY WARNING SIGN OTHER THEN A RAPPING SOUND THAT CONTINUED TO GET LOUDER UNTIL THE CAR WAS INOPERABLE. THIS STARTED WELL DRIVING DOWN ROUTE 28.WHEN I WAS CONTACTED BY THE REPAIR CENTER I WAS TOLD THAT 3/4 OF THE ENGINE NEEDED REPLACED. WHEN I EXPRESSED CONCERN WITH THE RESULTS OF ALL OF THE ENGINE FLUIDS BEING SHARED THROUGH OUT THE ENGINE AND FEELING UNCOMFORTABLE WITH ONLY FIXING 3/4 OF THE ENGINE. I CONTACTED AMERICAN HONDA. THEY DIDN'T CARE THAT THIS HAD HAPPENED. THAT THE CAR WAS NOT PULLED AND FIXED WHEN THEY ISSUED THE RECALL. AMERICAN HONDA DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. WHEN I ASKED CHRIS THE CUSTOMER REP THAT WAS ASSIGNED TO MY COMPLAINT TO BE TRANSFERRED TO A SUPERVISOR TO FILL A OFFICIAL COMPLAINT I WAS TOLD "THERE IS NO ONE HIGHER THEN HIM" HE DIDN'T CARE ABOUT MY CONCERNS FOR SAFETY OR ABOUT THE INVESTMENT I MADE IN PURCHASING A NEW VEHICLE. SO ONCE YOU BUY IT YOUR ON YOUR OWN THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SAFETY OR CONCERNS.

CAR R BLOCK OR D BLOCK, THE STEERING WHEEL AND SEATS SHAKE.
MY 2015 HONDA CR-V IS LESS THAN 2 MONTHS OLD AND HAS LESS THAN 1,000 MILES ON IT. WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE HOME FROM THE DEALERSHIP I NOTICED VIBRATIONS/SHUTTERING IN THIS VEHICLE AND IT CONTINUES TO THIS DAY. THE VIBRATIONS/SHUTTERING IS EXTREMELY DISTRACTING. IT HAPPENS BOTH WHILE IDLING AND ACCELERATING, BUT NOT ALL THE TIME (BUT WILL USUALLY OCCUR AT LEAST ONCE PER DRIVING TRIP). IT IS FELT BY BOTH THE DRIVER AND PASSENGERS IN THE VEHICLE.
UNINTENDED ACCELERATION WHEN BRAKING. I COULD NOT MAKE THE CAR STOP WHEN I MADE A RIGHT-HAND TURN INTO A SHOPPING CENTER PARKING SPACE. I DAMAGED THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY VEHICLE AS I SIDE-SWIPED THE REAR BUMPER OF A TRUCK. IT SEEMED THAT THE MORE I PUSHED ON THE BRAKE, THE MORE THE ENGINE SPED UP, AS IF I WAS PUSHING ON THE GAS PEDAL. THE FLOOR MAT IS ANCHORED. I HAVE VERY BIG FEET (SIZE 16 WIDE). THE GAS PEDAL AND THE BRAKE PEDAL ARE VERY CLOSE.
MY CURRENT AND 2012 HONDA CRV ALONG WITH MY GRANDDAUGHTERS 2012 CIVIC LOSES ENGINE POWER WHILE IN A TURN. IT FEELS LIKE THE ENGINE IS FAILING FOR A BRIEF MOMENT. I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO HONDA BUT THEY DIDN'T SEEM TOO CONCERNED. I BELIEVE IT COULD BE A SAFETY ISSUE TO ME AND OTHER DRIVERS. THESE EVENTS HAVE BEEN GOING ON FOR MANY MONTHS.
NOTICED VIBRATION ON THE WAY HOME FROM THE DEALER. VIBRATION HAPPENS AT ~60-70MPH. VIBRATION IS SOMETIMES STRONGER OR WEAKER AND MAKES ME DIZZY A BIT. VERY ANNOYING.
PISS POOR FUEL MILEAGE. BRAND NEW VEHICLE TWO TANKS OF GAS AND AVERAGING UNDER 19MPG. 80% HIGHWAY, 20% CITY STREETS. NO HEAVY FOOT AND ECONOMY BUTTON ON. VEHICLE STICKER STATES 27 CITY. NOT EVEN CLOSE.
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
THE 2015 HONDA CR-V HAS AN ISSUE WITH VIBRATION WHEN THE CAR IS STOPPED BUT IN GEAR. THE SEATS AND THE FLOOR VIBRATE MORE THAN ANY CAR THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN IN. IT HAS CAUSED MY WIFE AND I TO GET NAUSEOUS. THIS IS A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT THAT A BRAND NEW CAR WOULD SHAKE LIKE AN OLD CLUNKER.

I'M SO WORRIED AND MAD THAT DON'T HAVE A TIME TO BRING THIS BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP WITH ANOTHER PROBLEM SINCE I BROUGHT IT IN THE DEALERSHIP FOR VIBRATION WHEN ACCELERATING IN 65 MPH 2 WEEKS AGO. CAN I GET MY $ 34,000 .00 PLUS BACK? PLEASE HELP ME !!!
THE 2015 CR-V IS PRONE TO SEVERE VIBRATIONS AT SLOW SPEEDS AND IDLE. THE CONDITION EXISTS FROM THE TIME THE VEHICLE IS SOLD AND WORSENS OVER TIME. THE VIBRATIONS ARE DISTRACTING.IT HAPPENS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STOPPED, BUT IN GEAR AND THE VEHICLE IS ACCELERATING AND BETWEEN 1,000'1,200 RPMS.

I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW 2015 HONDA CR-V EX FWD A MONTH AGO. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS LITTLE OVER 600 MILES, I STARTED FEELING A SEVERE VIBRATION INTERMITTENTLY AT IDLE IN DRIVE MODE WHEN I STOP AT STOP SIGNS. THE FREQUENCY AND SEVERITY INCREASED NOW WHEN IT IS ABOUT 1000 MILES. JUST TO CHECK ITS SEVERITY I PLACED AN EMPTY PLASTIC BAG ON THE PASSENGER SEAT AND I COULD HERE THE NOISE MADE BY THE BAG DUE TO VIBRATION. IT WAS AS IF LIKE MASSAGING ON MY BACK AND BACK OF HEAD. WHEN I REPORTED IT TO SERVICE DEPARTMENT, THEY CHECKED AND TOLD ME THAT ITS A KNOW ISSUE WITH ALL 2015 MODELS AND NO FIX HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED. I CALLED AMERICAN HONDA ALSO AS PER THEIR SUGGESTION AND THEY ALSO ACKNOWLEDGED THIS ISSUE BUT SAID NO FIX IS AVAILABLE. I'M WONDERING IF THERE IS ANY BODY THAT ACTUALLY REGULATES AUTO MAKERS TO NOT SELL VEHICLES HAVING ISSUES. IF THERE IS A KNOW ISSUE LIKE THIS HOW CAN THEY KEEP SELLING THE VEHICLES WITH ISSUES AND HOW DOES HONDA SALES PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT THIS ISSUE? I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE ON OCTOBER 18, 2015. I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE VIBRATION ISSUES UNTIL AFTER I BOUGHT IT. THE DAY AFTER I BOUGHT IT I NOTICED SIGNIFICANT VIBRATIONS WHEN WAITING AT THE LIGHT TO TURN GREEN OR TO MAKE A LEFT/RIGHT TURN WHILE ON D GEAR. BOTH THE PASSENGER AND DRIVER SEATS VIBRATE AS WELL AS THE STEERING WHEEL. THE VIBRATING PROBLEM CONTINUES TO THIS DAY. I AM HOPING THIS WILL NOT BE A SAFETY ISSUE. I HAVE NEVER HAD TO WORRY ABOUT MY SAFETY IN REGARDS TO OWNING A HONDA UNTIL NOW. I HAVE HAD 2 OTHER HONDA CARS PREVIOUSLY AND NEVER HAD ISSUES WITH THEM SUCH AS THIS ONE. I AM HOPING THAT HONDA WILL FIX THIS PROBLEM SOON BECAUSE A NEW CAR SHOULD NOT HAVE THIS KIND OF PROBLEM. THE CAR HAS A TERRIBLE VIBRATION ISSUE WHEN STOPPED AT A LIGHT OR IN TRAFFIC WITH YOUR FOOT ON THE BRAKE AND THE CAR IN DRIVE. THIS VIBRATION IS FELT ON THE INSIDE THROUGHOUT THE CAR. HAVING TO PLACE CAR IN N, AT STOPLIGHTS (MANY ARE NOW DOING IT, AND SOME HONDA DEALERS ARE ADVOCATING IT ! THEY ALSO SUGGEST TURNING THE AC ON HIGH, TURN THE LIGHTS AND RADIO ON, ETC.) ALL OF THIS IS VERY DISTRACTING. IF ONE FORGETS TO PUT THE CAR INTO D IN ORDER TO ACCELERATE, HE COULD GET REAR ENDED, OR GET STRANDED UNDER A LIGHT; DRIVING IN S, HOWEVER, ONE MUST BE VERY CAREFUL DOING THIS IN TRAFFIC, AS THE CAR ACCELERATES VERY QUICKLY, AND IT TENDS TO LUNGE A BIT ! IN THIS INSTANCE, IT IS VERY EASY TO REAR-END A CAR IN FRONT OF YOU. IN ADDITION, DRIVING IN S CUTS FUEL ECONOMY (I HAVE LEARNED ) ABOUT 25-30%. WHERE DID I LEARN TO TRY S INSTEAD OF D ? A HONDA DEALER !! SO, THIS IDEA THAT THIS ISSUE IS NOT A POTENTIAL SAFETY CONCERN IS NOT TRUE FOR ALL DRIVERS WHO ARE TRYING TO REDUCE THE FATIGUING, ANNOYING EFFECTS OF THESE VIBES, SHUDDERS, AND SHAKES.

I RESEARCHED THE ISSUE AND MANY, MANY PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH HONDA NOT HAVING A SOLUTION FOR IT. VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THE CAR. NO HELP AT THE DEALER, TREATED ME AS IF I WAS CRAZY.
HONDA CR-V 2015 VIBRATION . LAST YEAR I PURCHASED A 2015 HONDA CR-V AND AS WITH MOST OTHER OWNERS, IT HAS A BAD VIBRATION ISSUE WHILE AT A STOP IN DRIVE MODE WITH FOOT ON THE BRAKES. I ALSO VIBRATES AT LOW SPEEDS BETWEEN 40 -50 MPH AND AROUND 70 MPH. I HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP 4 TIMES BUT STILL VIBRATES WHILE STOPPED IN THE DRIVE MODE (IN GEAR WITH FOOT ON BRAKE). I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH HONDA CORP AND THEY SAID EVEN WITH THE 4 SUGGESTED REPAIRS WHICH HAS ALREADY BEEN PREFORMED ON MY CAR BY THE LOCAL HONDA SERVICE CENTER, THIS WILL NOT STOP THE VIBRATION ISSUE AND THAT HONDA HAS NO OTHER KNOWN FIX TO STOP THE VIBRATION ISSUE AND THAT THEY WILL NOT REPLACE THE CAR. THE LOCAL HONDA SERVICE CENTER VERBALLY ACKNOWLEDGES THE VIBRATION ISSUE BUT REFUSED TO PUT IT ON THE SERVICE REPORT THAT THERE IS STILL A VIBRATION ISSUE. I SEE ALL THE POST FROM OTHER OWNERS WITH THE SAME ISSUE. THIS A DISTRACTION AND I CONSIDER IT A SAFETY ISSUE AS ONE, TIME WHILE I WAS SETTING AT A RED LIGHT, IT STARTED VIBRATING AND WHILE I WAS DISTRACTED BY THE SEAT AND CAR VIBRATING, THE TRUCK BEHIND ME BLEW HIS LOUD HORN AND I ALMOST RAN THE RED LIGHT THAT HAD CHANGED WHILE I WAS DISTRACTED. I KNOW THERE WAS A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT BUT I DO NOT KNOW THE STATUS OF IT. THEY HAD TO KNOW ABOUT THE PROBLEM PRIOR TO SENDING THE 2015 HONDA CR-V TO THE DEALERS, BUT NOBODY INFORMED THE BUYERS OF THIS ISSUE.

CURRENT MILES - 11K PURCHASED DEALER - OCEAN HONDA, NEW PORT RICHEY, FL SERVICING DEALER - HENDRICK HONDA, BRADENTON, FL THERE WAS A RATCHETING NOISE COMING FROM THE STEERING WHEEL EVERY TIME I TURN THE WHEEL. THIS HAPPENED CONSTANTLY DURING DRIVING & MAKING TURNS. HENDRICK HONDA IN BRADENTON FL, TESTED IT ON 10/6/15 AND MENTIONED THAT THERE IS A STEERING WHEEL SENSOR THAT IS CAUSING THIS NOISE AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THEY REPLACED IT, BUT MY STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS FAILED. I TOOK IT BACK IN THE NEXT DAY ON 10/7/15 AND THEY FIXED THE STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS. THE RATCHETING NOISE CAME BACK A FEW DAYS LATER AND THIS TIME THE DEALERSHIP MENTIONED THAT THEY DIDN'T DIVE DEEPER LAST TIME AND THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE STEERING WHEEL COLUMN. THEY HAD THE VEHICLE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS AND REPLACED THE STEERING WHEEL COLUMN ON 10/26/15. THE NOISE WENT AWAY, BUT ANOTHER PROBLEM SURFACED ON 11/14/15. THIS TIME IT WAS THE AIRBAG INDICATOR LIGHT THAT CONSTANTLY REMAIN LIT. THE OWNERS MANUAL SAID THAT IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO GET THIS CHECKED OUT IMMEDIATELY. SO, MY CAR IS BACK AT THE DEALERSHIP ON 11/16. EVEN THE SERVICE ADVISORS ARE STUMPED AND SAY THAT THIS IS UNUSUAL FOR A BRAND NEW 2015 HONDA WITH 11K MILES TO HAVE ISSUES LIKE THIS. I CONTACTED AMERICAN HONDA TODAY AND HAVE FILED A FORMAL COMPLAINT STATING THAT THE ISSUES ARISING ARE THREATENING MY SAFETY AS A DRIVER OF THIS VEHICLE AND HONDA SOLD ME A CAR WITH SERIOUS MANUFACTURING DEFECTS. THEY ARE INVESTIGATING.
VEHICLE WILL NOT RESPOND WHEN FOOT IS PLACED ON THE ACCELERATOR. WHEN ATTEMPTING TO MOVE THE CAR FORWARD FROM A STOP SIGN OR SIGNAL LIGHT THE VEHICLE WILL NOT RESPOND TO THE GAS PEDAL FOR UP TO 5 SECONDS. BASICALLY THERE IS A DELAY FROM WHEN THE GAS PEDAL IS PRESSED UNTIL THE VEHICLE RESPONDS. THIS HAS HAPPENED 5 TIMES IN PAST 6 TO 7 WEEKS. THIS ACTION HAS HAPPENED WHEN ATTEMPTING TO MOVE FROM A COMPLETE STOP OR WHEN THE VEHICLE IS MOVING AT A VERY SLOW SPEED. I ESCAPED A NEAR REAR END COLLISION WHEN I REMOVED MY FOOT FROM THE BRAKE, PRESSED ON THE GAS PEDAL AND THE CAR DID NOT RESPOND.

I PURCHASED A 2015 CR-V. ON OCTOBER 1ST NOTICING SIGNIFICANT VIBRATIONS AT IDLE WHICH BECAME MORE PRONOUNCED UNDER WAY ESPECIALLY BETWEEN 60 AND 70 MILES / HOUR. BROUGHT THE VEHICLE, TO THE DEALER, ON OCTOBER 3RD TO DETERMINE WHAT THE CAUSE OF THE VIBRATION MIGHT BE. THE VIBRATIONS WERE CONFIRMED BY THE MECHANIC DURING A TEST DRIVE. THE FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT AND BALANCE WERE CHECKED AND FOUND TO BE WITHIN SPECS. A SERVICE BULLETIN WAS FOUND INSTRUCTING THE MECHANIC TO PERFORM A SOFTWARE UPDATE. A SECOND TEST DRIVE SHOWED NO IMPROVEMENT. HONDA TECHNICIANS WERE CALLED WHO ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THEY WERE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND THAT HONDA WAS WORKING ON IT (APPARENTLY SINCE 2014). THE TECHNICIANS INDICATED THAT THE ISSUE WAS THOUGHT TO BE RELATED TO "HARMONIC DISTORTIONS" ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE OF THE DRIVE TRAIN, FOUND IN THE HONDA ACCORD, IN THE 2015 CR-V. THE HONDA TECHNICIANS OFFERED ASSURANCES THAT THERE WERE NO SAFETY ISSUES. I THEN TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A DIFFERENT DEALER WHO CHECKED THE SAME MECHANICAL PARAMETERS INCLUDING THE SOFTWARE UPDATE WITH NO IMPROVEMENT. THE MATTER HAS BEEN FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGED, BY HONDA, AS EVIDENCED IN A YOUTUBE VIDEO (HTTPS://WWW.YOUTUBE.COM/WATCH?V=VEJ45WX9YCI). A CURSORY SEARCH OF THE WEB SHOWS QUITE A NUMBER OF REPORTS OF THE ISSUE. APART FROM THE EFFECT ON DRIVEABILITY AND NO RESOLUTION IN SIGHT, MY CONCERNS ARE THE POTENTIAL LONG TERM EFFECTS ON THE VEHICLE ESPECIALLY WITH REGARD TO THE DRIVE TRAIN AND OTHER POSSIBLE SAFETY RELATED EFFECTS.
