THE LEFT REAR LIGHT KEEPS BURNING OUT VERY QUICKLY. THE HOUSING HAS HAD TO BE REPLACED AND THE BULB WAS DIFFICULT TO TAKE OUT, LIKE IT WAS MELTING TO THE HOUSING. THE BULB LOOKED BURNT. ALSO, BOTH MY HEADLIGHTS WILL NOT TURN ON NORMALLY, I HAVE TO TURN ON MY BRIGHT LIGHTS IN ORDER TO HAVE ANY LIGHTS AT ALL, AND WHEN I TURN ON MY BLINKERS, THE LIGHTS TURN OFF AND I HAVE TO QUICKLY ADJUST TO TURN THEM BACK ON. IT IF VERY DANGEROUS! THERE SEEMS TO BE A SHORT IN THE WIRING BECAUSE THE LEFT REAR LIGHT, THE BACK LICENSE PLATE LIGHT, THE WASHER FLUID BUTTON, AND THE FRONT LIGHTS DO NOT WORK PROPERLY. THEY ALL SEEM TO HAVE QUIT WORKING OR INTERMITTENTLY QUIT WORKING AT THE SAME TIME. I HAVE GOTTEN STOPPED BY THE POLICE A FEW TIMES AND GIVEN WARNINGS BECAUSE OF MY DIM OR RANDOMLY NON-WORKING LIGHTS. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND TERRIBLY FRUSTRATING.
THE PASSENGER SEAT BELT LOCKS FOR NO REASON AND NEEDS TO BE UNCLIPPED TO LOOSEN WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. ALL RECALLS ASSOCIATED WITH MY VIN HAVE BEEN COMPLETED.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED, CODE READING OF P2565. WASTEGATE ACTUATOR. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY COMMON PROBLEM ON 2011-2014 HYUNDAIS WITH THE 2.0L TURBO THAT DEALERSHIPS EXCLUDE FROM ANY EXTENDED WARRANTIES. THE WASTEGATE ACTUATORS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH HYUNDAI.
DRIVERS SEATBELT CANNOT ENGAGE. CANNOT SECURE INTO LOCK.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 HYUNDAI SONATA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL MADE A CLICKING SOUND. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE ALSO VEERED FROM LEFT TO RIGHT AND RIGHT TO LEFT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HOLLER HYUNDAI (1150 NORTH ORLANDO AVENUE, WINTER PARK, FL 32789, (407) 628-4343) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING COUPLING NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 108,000. *TR
I TOOK MY VEHICLE TO THE HYUNDAI DEALER AND REQUESTED AN EMISSIONS INSPECTION, A SAFETY INSPECTION, A CORRECTION OF ALL RECALL MAINTENANCE ITEMS, AND AN OIL CHANGE. I TOLD THE REPRESENTATIVE THAT I DID NOT WANT TO ORDER THE 60,000 MILE SERVICE SINCE I STILL HAD NOT REACHED THE 60,000 MILE MARK, AND WANTED TO WAIT FOR A SHORT PERIOD SINCE MY DAUGHTER'S COLLEGE TUITION WAS DUE THIS MONTH. THE REPRESENTATIVE REQUESTED AND DROVE THE VEHICLE FOR APPROXIMATELY 40 MILES AS PART OF THE EMISSIONS TEST AND COMPLETED ALL REQUESTED SERVICES. I DROVE THE VEHICLE HOME (APPROXIMATELY 10 MILES) AND PARKED IT IN THE GARAGE. THE NEXT MORNING I ENTERED AND STARTED THE VEHICLE; HOWEVER, THE GEAR SHIFT WAS COMPLETELY LOCKED AND I COULD NOT RELEASE IT. MOREOVER, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ON THE DASHBOARD APPEARED. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS NOT ACTIVE PRIOR TO EXECUTING SERVICES. THE CAR WAS PARKED ON A LEVEL SURFACE IN THE GARAGE AND THE GEAR WAS PROPERLY PLACED IN THE PARK POSITION. THE EMERGENCY BRAKES WERE NOT ENGAGED BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WAS NOT ON AN INCLINE. A CHECK OF THE INTERNET REVEALED THAT THE PROBLEM IS OCCURRING IN A NUMBER OF SONATAS; HOWEVER, THERE IS NO RECALL FOR THIS DEFECT NOTED ON THE NHTSA'S SAFETY RECALL SITE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 HYUNDAI SONATA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE MADE AN ABNORMAL CLICKING SOUND WHILE DRIVING AND STALLED OFTEN. IN ADDITION, OIL LEAKED FROM THE ENGINE, THE BATTERY DIED, AND THE VEHICLE POWERED DOWN. ALL OF THE WARNING INDICATORS ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE OIL DID NOT FILTER THROUGH THE ENGINE PROPERLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 124,738.
I HAVE HAD MY ALTERNATOR AND BATTERY REPLACED WITHIN THE LAST MONTH AND MY CAR IS CUTTING OFF WHILE I'M DRIVING IT. THE LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD COME ON THE RADIO POWERS OFF AND THE WHEEL STARTS JERKING BACK AND FORTH AND IT CUTS OFF OR BEGINS TO CUT OFF AND CORRECTS ITSELF. I WAS DRIVING IN THE CITY DURING THESE INCIDENTS AND THE CAR WAS EITHER TURNING OR PULLING OFF. ONCE ON THE HIGHWAY IT CUT OFF WHILE IN MOTION.
WILL BE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND THE TAIL LIGHTS WILL START FLICKERING. SOMETIMES ONE WILL GO OUT, OR NOT COME ON. SOMETIMES IT THE OTHER ONE DOING IT.I HAVEN'T HAD THE OCCASION TO NOTICED IT WHEN SITTING STILL..

THE LEFT REAR LIGHT WHERE I PLACE THE BULB IS BURNED OUT. THE HOUSING OF WHERE THE BULB GOES HAS TO BE REPLACED. ALSO, BOTH HEADLIGHTS WHERE I REPLACE THE BULB HAS BURNED OUT AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THERE IS A SHORTAGE IN THE WIRING IN THE REAR LIGHTS.
BRAKE LIGHTS KEEP BURNING OUT AND HAVE MELTED THE PLASTIC UNIT. THE DRIVERS SIDE WILL NOT WORK EVEN WITH NEW LIGHT BULBS. I HAVE TO KEEP REPLACING THE FUSES FOR THE CIGARETTE LIGHTERS, WHEN I TURN OFF THE CAR, THE ACTUAL LIGHTS INSIDE DO NOT TURN OFF SO I HAVE TO CONTINUE TO START AND TURN OFF THE CAR UNTIL IT EVENTUALLY SHUTS OFF. WHEN IDLING FOR TOO LONG, THE VEHICLE SMELLS OF GAS TO WHERE I GET A HEADACHE.
The contact owns a 2014 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that on various occasions, the brake lights and turning signals failed to illuminate as designed. The contact stated that she replaced the bulbs seven times; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the taillight wiring harness assembly had melted and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 20,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO FAULKNER HYUNDAI PHILADELPHIA LOCATED AT 11500 ROOSEVELT BLVD, PHILADELPHIA, PA 19116 HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE OR RETRIEVE A FAULT CODE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 300,000.
ENGINE BEGAN TO SLOW DOWN...I PULLED OFF THE FREEWAY SAFELY AS THE CAR BEEPED AND DISPLAYED A WARNING: 'HYBRID DRIVE FAILURE. PLACE CAR IN P. DO NOT DRIVE' THEY SHOULD ALSO ADD, CALL A WRECKER, IN ALL FAIRNESS. WAITING ON HYUNDAI'S ANSWER. AFTER TRACTOON ISSUES IN ICE AND SNOW IN ADDITION TO THIS...WHEN I GET THIS CAR BACK, SHE'S A GONER! I NEED A REAL VEHICLE.
MOTOR BEGAN TO FAIL ON THE HIGHWAY. PULLED OVER. 'HYBRID DRIVE FAILURE. PLACE IN PARK AND DO NOT DRIVE.' THE WARNING SHOULD ALSO HAVE ADDED 'CALL A WRECKER.' DEALER SAYS HYUNDAI IS LOOKING AT PICTURES. CAR WAS SERVICED TWICE AND OIL CHANGED REGULARLY. WAITING TO SEE WHAT HYUNDAI SAYS.
THE BACK LIGHTS ARE GOING OUT EXTREMELY TO OFTEN. I HAVE TO CHANGE THEM OUT AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH AND WHEN CHANGING THEM I NOTICE THAT THE BULB IS BLACK, ALMOST LIKE THEY ARE BURNING OUT. WHEN I REPLACE ON SIDE, A WEEK OR TWO LATER I HAVE TO CHANGE THE OTHER SIDE. IT SEEMS TO BE A WIRING ISSUE.
TAIL LIGHT BULBS MELTED INTO SOCKET. HAD TO GET BOTH REPLACED. FIRE HAZARD AND A DEFECT IN DESIGN.
CAR STALLED WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND ENGINE LOCK
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 HYUNDAI SONATA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR BRAKE LIGHTS BLEW OUT WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT REPLACED THE BULBS, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HOMESTEAD HYUNDAI (786-255-7400, LOCATED AT 111 S HOMESTEAD BLVD, HOMESTEAD, FL 33030) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE HARNESS BURNED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED WITH A NEWER HARNESS BECAUSE THE OLDER ONES WERE NO LONGER AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 84,000.
CAR IN DEALERSHIP FOR SECOND TIME DUE TO ENGINE FAILURE WHILE DRIVING (SECOND TIME IN SHOP FOR ENGINE RECALL). MY CONCERNS ARE THE SAFETY OF THIS VEHICLE WITH MY FAMILY, MY HOME AND MY COMMUNITY. THESE CARS ARE CATCHING ON FIRE THROUGHOUT OUR COUNTRY AND THERE IS NO PRICE ON A LIFE.
WHEN ACCELERATING PAST 3500 RPMS THERE IS A CLANGING SOUND COMING FROM THE ENGINE AND YOU CAN'T ACCELERATE ANYMORE. THERE HAS BEEN AT TIMES A LARGE PLUME OF WHITE THICK SMOKE COMING FROM THE TAIL PIPE WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE.
THE DRIVER'S AND FRONT PASSENGER'S AIRBAGS EXPLODED SEVERELY INJURING ME AND MY DAUGHTER. I WAS SITTING IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT, MY DAUGHTER WAS SITTING IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. I WAS DRIVING SLOWLY TURNING LEFT WHEN A SPEEDING VAN HIT MY CAR ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE. I AND MY DAUGHTER BECAME UNCONSCIOUS ON IMPACT BECAUSE THE AIRBAGS IN MY CAR EXPLODED CAUSING US SEVERE HEAD, CHEST, NECK AND BACK INJURIES. WE WERE TAKEN TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AT LAKE NORMAN REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER IN MOORESVILLE, NC, AND THEN TRANSFERRED TO ATRIUM HEALTH LEVEL 1 TRAUMA CENTER IN CHARLOTTE, NC.
I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY (ABOUT 65 MILES PER HOUR) ON A SMOOTH ROAD AND THEN ALL OF THE SUDDEN I HEAR A LOUD POPPING SOUND AND THEN I HEAR AIR COMING THROUGH MY SUNROOF. I STOPPED AND GOT OUT OF THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THE MAJORITY OF AROUND THE EDGE GLASS ON THE SUNROOF WAS GONE AND RESIDUAL CRACKED PIECES OF GLASS (TEMPERED GLASS PIECES) REMAINED AROUND THE EDGES. I NOTICED THAT WHEN THE GLASS CAME OFF IT HIT THE REAR TRUNK AND SCRAPPED THE PAINT ON THE TRUNK.
MY VEHICLE HAS APPROX. 84000 MILES, HAS ROUTINE MAINTENANCE. RECENTLY UPON ACCELERATION, WHITE SMOKE EXPELS FROM THE EXHAUST. THE ENGINE RUNS HOT AND BURNS OIL AT AN EXCESSIVE RATE. HAVING TO ADD AT LEAST 2 QUARTS EVERY 2-3 WEEKS. WHILE DRIVING, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, TOOK CAR TO MECHANIC IMMEDIATELY WHO THEN EXPLAINED THERE WAS SO MUCH SLUDGE ON THE PLUGS (CAUSING MISFIRES AND ENGINE LIGHT TO COME ON) FROM BUILT UP OIL THAT ALL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. AFTER REPLACING THE PLUGS AND OIL CHANGE, WHITE SMOKE CONTINUES TO EXPELL FROM EXHAUST. MECHANIC ADVISED THE ENGINE WILL NOT LAST MUCH LONGER AND WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED/REBUILT.
LED TAIL LIGHTS STARTED FLICKERING WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. DRIVER SIDE BRAKE LIGHT WOULD FLICKER ON AND OFF WHEN BRAKE WAS DEPRESSED. CHECKED WIRING CONNECTIONS, REPLACED TURN SIGNAL BULBS, NOTHING WOULD STOP THE FLICKERING. FINALLY THE PASSENGER SIDE TAIL LIGHT FAILED COMPLETELY. THEN ABOUT 2 WEEKS LATER THE DRIVER SIDE TAIL LIGHT FAILED. THESE ARE LEDS. TOOK IT TO A HYUNDAI DEALER. THE CHECKED OUT THE LIGHTS. VERIFIED POWER WAS COMING TO THE LIGHTS, BUT THEY WOULD STILL NOT ILLUMINATE. APPLIED EXTERNAL POWER TO THE LIGHTS, STILL NO ILLUMINATION. RECOMMENDATION FROM THE DEALER WAS TO COMPLETELY REPLACE THE UNITS. SUSPECT BRAKE LIGHTS CAN FAIL NEXT WITHOUT WARNING TO THE DRIVER.

THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V137000 (SEAT BELTS, AIR BAGS) AT CAREY HYUNDAI (3204 FRUITVALE BLVD, YAKIMA, WA 98902, 509-248-1500), BUT THE AIR BAG INDICATOR CONTINUED TO ILLUMINATE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 97,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
WHEN SIGNALING TO TURN LEFT THE HEADLIGHTS WOULD GO OFF AND BACK ON. IT HAPPENED WHEN THE CAR WAS PARKED, OR WHILE DRIVING ON CITY STREETS
THE FUEL LEVEL OF THE CAR ISN'T READING CORRECTLY ON THE DASHBOARD. IT IS SHOWING THAT MY FUEL LEVEL IS EMPTY AT ALL TIMES, WHEN THERE IS ACTUALLY FUEL IN THE CAR AND IT STAYS ON THAT LEVEL THE WHOLE TIME. THE DISTANCE TO EMPTY THE TANK IS ALSO BLANKED OUT AND EMPTY AND DOESN'T PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION. THIS OCCURS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS DRIVING AND IN MOTION.
AS I WAS DRIVING ON THE ROAD MADE A RIGHT TURN IT SOUND LIKE SOMETHING POP SO WHEN I PUT MY CAR IN REVERSE OR DRIVE IT MAKES A LOUD SOUND PLUS IT WOULDNT MOVE BUT WHEN I PUT IT IN PARK IT MOVED LIKE IT WAS IN NEUTRAL...
I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE WASTE GATE ACTUATOR AND NOW A BLOWN HEAD GASKET.
THE STEERING WHEEL KEEPS CLICKING WHEN YOU TURN IT AND HITTING BUMPS IN THE ROAD. CAUSE IT TO JAM AN BE IN SAFE
WHILE MAKING A TURN INTO PARKING LOT AT ABOUT 3MPH HEARD VERY LOUD BANG LIKE A BOMB. GOT OUT OF CAR AND SUNROOF WAS COMPLETELY SHATERED. HAD INSIDE SUNROOF SHADE CLOSED SO NO GLASS CAME IN CAR.
I WAS JUST ENTERING THE CITY SLOWING FROM A 55 MPH ZONE TO A 45 COMING UP TO A TRAFFIC LIGHT WHEN I HIT THE BRAKE TO RELEASE THE CRUISE CONTROL, AS I SLOWED DOWN WITH MY FOOT STILL BREAKING THEN RELEASED THE BRAKE THE CRUISE TRIED TO REACTIVATE. I PRESSED THE BRAKE AGAIN AND RELEASED AND AGAIN THE CRUISE FEATURE TRIED TO ACCELERATE. I DID NOTICE THAT THE 'SET' LIGHT WAS OFF AS IT DOES WHEN YOU BRAKE BUT THE CRUISE WAS STILL TRYING TO SPEED UP WHEN BRAKE RELEASED. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE NEW, IT HAS A LITTLE OVER 95K MILES, BUT I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS ISSUE BEFORE. I CAME TO A STOP AT THE LIGHT AT WHICH TIME WHEN I RELEASED THE BRAKE IT WAS NOT TRYING TO SELF-ACTIVATE. ESPECIALLY COMING INTO CITY TRAFFIC THIS WAS VERY CONCERNING.
UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON STREET IN SLOW SPEED, ENGINE STALLED AND PASSENGER NOTICED SMOKE UPON EXITING THE VEHICLE THE CAR WENT UP IN FLAMES. POLICE MENTIONED COULD BE A ELECTRICAL ISSUE AND MENTIONED OF SIMILAR INCIDENTS ON HYUNDAI VEHICLES.
2014 SONATA 56,000 MILES I AM REQUESTING FURTHER INFORMATION INTO MY BLINKER SWITCH MAKES MY HEADLIGHTS FLICKER ON AND OFF WHEN IN USE OF THE BLINKER. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING WHEN THIS HAPPENED FRIDAY NIGHT... AND REPRODUCIBLE; I LOST ALL SEEING CAPABILITY FOR A MOMENT . AS A MOTHER AND I TRAVEL TO AND FROM WORK DURING NIGHT HOURS I FEAR FOR MY SAFETY AND OTHERS SAFETY. I FEAR IN THE SAFETY AND DESIGN/CONSTRUCTION IN THE VEHICLE; AS STATED I WOULD LIKE FURTHER INVESTIGATION INTO WHY THE HEADLIGHTS FLICKERING, AS WELL RESOLUTION AND REPAIR. I HAVE FOUND OTHERS ON COMPLAINT SITES WITH THE IDENTICAL ISSUE AND SAME YEAR SONATA.
I NOTICED AS I WAS USING MY TURN SIGNAL AS I WAS GETTING ON THE HIGHWAY AT 5:00 IN THE MORNING THAT MY HEADLIGHTS HAD APPEARED TO GO OUT. A FEW SECONDS LATER THEY CAME BACK ON. I THOUGHT MAYBE I WAS SEEING THINGS BUT THEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN AS I WAS SIGNALING TO CHANGE LANES. FOR THE REST OF THE 25 MILES TO GET TO WORK ON A BUSY HIGHWAY I STOPPED USING MY TURN SIGNAL FOR FEAR THAT MY HEADLIGHTS WOULD NOT COME BACK ON. I TOOK BY CAR TO THE DEALER TO HAVE THE HEADLIGHT ISSUE AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ISSUE FIXED. I WAS CALLED WHILE MY CAR WAS STILL AT THE DEALER THAT THEY COULD NOT REPLICATE THE HEADLIGHT ISSUE AND THAT THEY REPLACED SOME PART THAT HAD TO DO WITH THE OIL. OF COURSE WITH THE ENGINE ONLY BEING 2 YEARS OLD I HAD TO PAY. I PAID $458 AND WHEN I LEFT THE DEALER THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS OFF. I LET MY NEPHEW BORROW MY CAR FOR A WEEK AND WHEN I PICKED IT UP THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS BACK ON AND WAS STILL HAVING THE HEADLIGHT ISSUE WHEN SIGNALING. I TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER TO HAVE THE SAME ISSUES LOOKED AT AGAIN. A WEEK GOES BY AND I HEAR NOTHING BUT I DO GET AN AUTOMATED VOICEMAIL FROM THE DEALER REGARDING A GREAT INCENTIVE TO TRADE IN MY CAR FOR A NEWER MODEL. NO THANKS!! I'M DONE WITH HYUNDAI. I CALL THE DEALER TO CHECK ON THE STATUS OF MY CAR TWICE AND GET NO ANSWER. I DRIVE TO THE DEALER TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE. ONCE AGAIN I AM TOLD THEY CANNOT REPLICATE THE HEADLIGHT ISSUE AND DIAGNOSTIC SHOWS NO ISSUES BUT IT COULD BE THE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH. THEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON BECAUSE THE CAM SHIFT SENSOR WENT BAD. NOW I'M TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHY THIS WAS NOT FOUND THE FIRST TIME I BROUGHT THE CAR IN. SO NOW I'M TOLD THE SHOP FOREMAN WAS OUT ALL WEEK AND THEY ARE WAITING FOR HIM TO LOOK AT MY CAR TO SEE IF HE CAN FIGURE OUT THE HEADLIGHT ISSUE. I'M REALLY IRRITATED AT THIS POINT AND WILL BE TRADING THIS CAR IN AND IT WON'T BE WITH HYUNDAI.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LIBERTY HYUNDAI DEALER, LOCATED AT: 305 NJ-17, MAHWAH, NJ 07430 AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED TO REPLACE THE BRAKE LAMP BULBS WITH ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDED BRAKE LAMP BULBS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE BULB WAS NOT REPLACED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 43,000.

DURING A ROUTINE OIL CHANGE THE TECHNICIAN FOUND A LARGE AMOUNT OF METAL IN THE OIL FILTERED FROM THE ENGINE. THID MAY BE DUE TO ABNORMAL WEAR FROM A PREVIOUS RECALL THAT WAS INCOMPLETE.

STARTED A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO FIRST TIME IT HAPPEN THE CAR TURNED OFF BY IT SELF WHEN RUNNING, SECOND TIME IT JUST TURNED OFF WHILE AT A RED LIGHT, HAVE CHECK BATTERY, ALTERNATOR AND STARTED EVERYTHING IS FINE FUSES AND RELAYS ARE ALL GOOD, YESTERDAY WENT TO LUNCH, WENT TO VACUUM CAR TURN IT OFF WHEN I WAS DONE IT WOULD NOT START UP THE LIGHTS, A/C AND STEREO COME ON BUT IT JUST WONT CRANK AFTER PRESSING THE BREAK STILL NOTHING, GOT OFF THE CAR AND WAITED ABOUT 15 MIN AND WHILE DOING RESEARCH ON GOOGLE ONE PAGE SUGGESTED TO THAT I LOCKED IT AND UNLOCKED IT AND TRY IT AGAIN AND IT TURN ON RIGHT AWAY. WENT BACK TO WORK FOR ANOTHER 4HRS WHEN I WENT BACK AT 5PM IT DIDN'T WANT TO TURN ON AGAIN, I DID THE LOCKING AND UNLOCKING AGAIN AND THIS TIME IT DIDN'T WORK SOMEONE CAME TO TRY TO JUMP START IT AND IT DIDN'T HELP, WE TRIED EVERYTHING WE SAW ON THE INTERNET AND NOTHING WORK, HAD TO LEAVE IT AT WORK OVERNIGHT AND CAME BACK TODAY AND STILL DOES NOT WANT CRANK EVERYTHING ELSE TURNS ON ENGINE JUST WONT CRANK, WE HAVE RESEARCH ALL NIGHT AND IT SEEMS LIKE THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL ON THIS SINCE A LOT OF PEOPLE WITH THE PUSH BUTTON HAVE BEEN HAVING ISSUES
FUEL DOOR ACTUATOR IS FAULTY. FUEL DOOR WILL NOT RELEASE WHEN RELEASE BUTTON IS PUSHED INSIDE THE CABIN, NOR OPEN VIA EMERGENCY RELEASE CORD IN TRUNK.
I WENT INTO THE DEALERSHIP TO HAVE MY ENGINE RECALL REPLACED. MY CAR WOULD NOT START THE FOLLOWING DAY I GOT MY CAR BACK AFTER THE REPAIRS. THE ENGINE CAUSED MY STARTER TO GO OUT. THE DEALERSHIP WOULD NOT HONOR FIXING IT SO I HAD TO PAY FOR THOSE CHARGES WHICH I THINK SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED BY HYUNDAI INTERSTATE.

THE INTERIOR/EXTERIOR LIGHTS FLASH OFF AND ON WHEN DRIVING.I HAVE THE LIGHTS SET FOR AUTOMATIC-I AM TRAVELING BOTH HIGHWAY AND CITY STREETS.
WHEN I STOPPED MY CAR AND PUT IN PARK I TURNED THE KEY IN THE IGNITION TO THE LOCK/OFF POSITION BUT THE KEY WOULD NOT TURN TO LOCK/OFF GO IN THE OFF POSITION. SO, THE KEY WAS STUCK IN THE IGNITION. I TURNED THE CAR ON AND SHIFTED TO DRIVE THAN BACK TO PARK AND TURNED THE CAR OFF TO REMOVE THE KEY HOWEVER IT WAS STILL STUCK. I DID THIS SEVERAL TIMES BECAUSE I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM TWO WEEK PRIOR AND THIS METHOD WORKED. I WAS BY A LOCKSMITH THAT I COULD WAS TO UNHOOK THE BATTERY UNTIL I COULD TAKE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP.
AT 83, 000 MILES ON MY VEHICLE MY CAR STOP WHILE I WAS DRIVING. I HAD TO GET IT TOWED TO A CAR SHOP WERE I WAS INFORMED THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY ENGINE. THIS CAR IS A 2014 WITH EARLY ENGINE ISSUES.
