TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 INFINITI G35. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING, THE BRAKE AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED THAT THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR HAD FAILED AND WAS UNDER RECALL. THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH THE MANUFACTURER REGARDING NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 03V455000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) BUT WAS ADVISED THAT HIS VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 79,742.
THIRD BRAKE LIGHT OUT OR INTERMITTENT. *TR
THE THIRD BRAKE LIGHT ON MY CAR WORKS INTERMITTENTLY. THIS IS THE BRAKE LIGHT THAT RESIDES ON THE REAR ACCESSORY PACKAGE ON THE INSIDE OF THE CARS ALONG WITH THE SPEAKERS. THE LIGHTS ARE NOT REPLACEABLE IN THIS UNIT BECAUSE THEY ARE LED AND HAVE NOTICE MANY OTHER G35 WITH THE SAME PROBLEM AND ITS AN OUTRAGEOUS 125 DOLLAR REPLACEMENT FOR SOMETHING THAT SHOULD LAST INDEFINITELY SINCE THEY ARE LEDS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 INFINITI G35. THE CONTACT SMELLED OIL BURNING WHEN HE NOTICED THAT THE OIL WARNING LIGHT HAD ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THEY PERFORMED AN OIL CONSUMPTION TEST WHICH CONCLUDED THAT THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE DEALER ADVISED THE CONTACT TO HAVE FURTHER TESTING DONE BEFORE REPLACING THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 87,000 AND THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 80,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 INFINITI G35. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN ACTIVATING THE HEAT, THE AIR CONDITIONER WOULD ACTIVATE ERRONEOUSLY. THE AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITION WOULD NOT SHUT OFF AND THE DEFROSTER WAS INOPERABLE. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT DENIED ANY ASSISTANCE WITH REPAIRS TO THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 110,500.
THIRD BRAKE LIGHT IS OUT AND WILL NOT WORK ON THIS VEHICLE. THE OLD PART IS STILL AVAILABLE. *TR
IN MY 2003 INIFINITI G35 SEDAN MY ENTIRE CENTER CONSOLE ISNT WORKING. AC/HEAT AND RADIO. FOR THE FIRST COUPLE MONTHS IT WOULD TURN ON AND OFF AND THEN ABOUT NOV OF 2010 EVERYTHING STOPPED WORKING. IT WOULD SNOW AND I HAD NO DEFROST OR HEAT. STILL TILL THIS DAY NOTHING IS WORKING. *TT

THE 3RD BRAKE LIGHT (HIGH MOUNT LIGHT) ONLY WORKS INTERMITTENTLY IN MY 2003 INFINITI G35 SEDAN. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED AND THE 3RD BRAKE LIGHT DOES NOT LIGHT UP. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 INFINITI G35. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEFROSTER WAS INOPERABLE, REDUCING VISIBILITY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO HAVE THE FAILURE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. HIGH MOUNT "THIRD" BRAKE LIGHT ON INFINITI G35 (03 TO ?) SEEM TO BE GOING OUT FREQUENTLY RESULTING IN VERY VERY COSTLY REPAIRS CONSIDERING ITS ONLY A LIGHT. THE DESIGN REQUIRES REMOVAL OF THE SEAT COSTING $500+. A SIMPLE, SAFELY RELATED PROBLEM SHOULD NOT BE SO DIFFICULT TO ADDRESS AND INFINITI SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE POOR DESIGN OF A SAFETY RELATED SYSTEM AND PAY FOR THE REPAIRS. *TR
THE THIRD BRAKE LIGHT (IN THE REAR WINDOW) OF THE 2003 G35 SEDAN WENT OUT RECENTLY. AT FIRST, ONLY HALF OF THE SIX WERE OUT, BUT THEN ALL OF THEM WENT OUT. I'VE REPAIRED IT BY ORDERING REPLACEMENT LEDS FOR THE LIGHT AND INSTALLING THOSE ON THE BOARD. *TR
THERE IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THE REAR WINDOW BRAKE LIGHT OF THE INFINITI G35. IN 90% OF 2003-2004 CARS, THIS ISSUE IS KNOWN TO OCCUR. A NON-FUNCTIONING BRAKE LIGHT IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. INFINITI HAS YET TO ISSUE A RECALL. LATER MODEL YEARS DO NOT SUFFER AS MUCH FROM THIS ISSUE. TO MAKE THINGS WORSE, THIS IS NOT A SIMPLE BULB REPLACEMENT. THE G35 HAS A FANCY AND EXPENSIVE LED SYSTEM. A SPECIFIC DIODE IS KNOWN TO GO BAD, WHICH MAKES THIS MORE OF A ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FAILURE. *TR
THE AUDIO/CLIMATE CONTROLS ON MY 2003 INFINITI G35 STOPPED WORKING WHILE MY AC GOES ON FULL BLAST. CAN'T TURN IT OFF. I HAVE NO CONTROL OF MY RADIO. CALLED THE DEALER. THEY SAID IT COULD BE THE RADIO ($900), THE CIRCUIT BOARD ($900) OR BOTH ($1800) PLUS TAX. AND THAT'S ON TOP OF THE DIAGNOSTICS FEE THEY WILL CHARGE. INFINITI SERVICE ADVISOR TOLD ME THAT BECAUSE IT'S OUT OF WARRANTY, IT'S JUST LIKE A BULB GOING OUT. WHAT A RIPOFF. . *TR
ELECTRICAL CONTROL PANEL: HEAT/ DEFROST/ RADIO AND CD/TAPE. INTERMITTENT OPERATION WAS REPORTED TO INFINITI DEALER IN 2008. AT THE PRESENT TIME (OCT. 2010), THE CONTROL PANEL IS TOTALLY INOPERABLE AS OF THE BEGINNING OF OCTOBER 2010. THERE IS NO WAY OF CONTROLLING THE AC/DEFROST/TEMPERATURE. THE AUDIO/ CLIMATE SYSTEM WAS INSPECTED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE CIRCUITRY HAS INTERNAL FAILURE. THIS HAS POSED A HAZARD SINCE THERE IS NO WAY OF CONTROLLING THE DEFROST AND FAN TO UNFOG THE WINDOWS. THERE WAS A VOLUNTARY RECALL IN 2004, HOWEVER I HAD NOT BEEN NOTIFIED. SEVERAL SIMILAR COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN BLOGGED. DEALER WILL REPLACE UNIT FOR APPROXIMATELY $550.00 AT OWNER'S COST. HOWEVER, IT APPEARS THAT IT IS A DEFECT BY THE MANUFACTURER. *TR
REAR MIDDLE TAIL LIGHT ON MY 2003 INFINITI G35 SEDAN GOES OUT. OR STAYS OUT FOR QUITE A WHILE. VERY DANGEROUS AS I DO NOT KNOW WHEN IT WORKS OR NOT. *TR
2003 INFINITI G35 COUPE THIRD BRAKE LIGHT FAILURE - REPLACED TWICE AND STILL FAILING WITHIN A YEAR. $235 REPLACEMENT PART PLUS LABOR IS BLEEDING ME DRY FOR A PART I NEED TO STAY LEGAL AND SAFE. INFINITI DOES NOT CARE THAT THEY HAVE MANUFACTURED A DEFECTIVE PART MADE WITH LEDS WHICH SHOULD LAST SIGNIFICANTLY LONGER THAN HALOGEN BULBS BUT DOES NOT. *TR
2003 INFINITI G35. THE RADIO, A/C, & HEAT CONTROLS GO OUT DUE TO A TERRIBLE MISTAKE BY THE ENGINEERS IN ROUTING THE RADIO AND CLIMATE CONTROLS TO ONE CIRCUIT BOARD. LIVING IN THE MID-WEST THIS IS A HUGE ISSUE BECAUSE I CANNOT DEFROST MY WINDOWS WHEN IT'S SNOWING. INFINITI ISSUED A VOLUNTARY RECALL, BUT MOST LIKELY MISSED AROUND 90,000 CARS. THIS IS A LARGE PROBLEM AND THEY DO NOTHING, IT'S A HUGE SAFETY RISK. *TR
2003 G35 SEDAN CENTRAL CONSOLE A/C, SELECTED LIGHTS, AND AUDIO CONTROLS STOPPED WORKING SUDDENLY. CANNOT CONTROL HEAT/DEFROST/AIR CONDITIONING. CAUSED WINDOWS TO FOG UP QUICKLY IMPAIRING VISUAL FIELD WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY. THIS IS VERY HAZARDOUS BECAUSE OF ITS UNEXPECTED AND UNPREDICTABLE ONSET. *TR
INFINITI ISSUED A TSB ABOUT AN AUDIO FINISHER CIRCUIT POTENTIALLY FAILING. MEANWHILE THEY DID NO RECALL OR NOTIFIED CUSTOMERS. THE CIRCUIT CONTROLS ALL THE HVAC AND RADIO CONTROL. MEANING, WHEN IT MALFUNCTIONS, YOU HAVE NO ABILITY TO USE THE DEFROSTER TO DEFOG THE WINDOW. NO CONTROL CAN BE HAD OF THE SYSTEM. IT TURNS ON THE AC AUTOMATICALLY AND DISABLES ALL CONTROLS. *TR
THE VEHICLE HVAC/STEREO SYSTEM LOST POWER AND QUIT FUNCTIONING CAUSING THE WINDSHIELD TO FOG UP. THE ONLY WAY TO SEE WAS BY WIPING THE INSIDE GLASS WITH PAPER TOWELS. THE SYSTEM MALFUNCTIONED OVER THE PAST MONTHS AND NOW IS NOT OPERATIONAL. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 INFINITI G35 SEDAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CENTER CONSOLE CONTROLS MALFUNCTIONED CAUSING THE AIR TO BLOW CONTINUOUSLY AND ALSO CAUSING ALL OF THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS TO MALFUNCTION. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THE CENTER CONSOLE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE DEALER DID NOT SPECIFY WHAT'S CAUSED THE CENTER CONSOLE TO MALFUNCTION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THIS WAS A SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE THE FRONT AND REAR DEFROSTER DOES NOT WORK IN COLD WEATHER WHICH IMPAIRED THE CONTACTS VISION. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
IM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM THAT THOUSANDS OF OTHERS HAVE WITH THIS SAME CAR, FIRST THE RADIO GOS OUT THEN ALL CONTROLS FOR HEATING AND COOLING CONTROLS START TO GO OUT, NOW I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER MY HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM. WHICH IS SCARY CUZ NOW THAT ITS WINTER I CANT DEFROST MY WINDOWS AND INFINITI REFUSES TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEY'RE FAULTY SYSTEM, WARRANTY OR NOT ITS A SAFETY HAZARD!!!!! *TR
PER G35 SEDAN RECALL MY '...AUDIO AND TEMPERATURE CONTROLS MAY, ON OCCASION, NOT OPERATE AS EXPECTED....". MY EQUIPMENT FAILED MULTIPLE TIMES. THERE IS A VOLUNTARY RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM ON THE G35 SEDAN BUT NOT THE G35 COUPE. THE MFG'R. STATES THAT COUPE IS NOT COVERED EVEN THOUGH I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. MY G35 HAS/HAD THE IDENTICAL PROBLEM AND THEY REPLACED MY CIRCUIT BOARD AT A COST OF $649.88 (PARTS AND LABOR). I BELIEVE THE G35 COUPE SHOULD HAVE SAME RECALL AS THE G35 SEDAN. *TR
I OWN A 2003 INFINITI G35 SEDAN AND THE REAR (THIRD) BRAKE LIGHT, WHICH IS LED HAS AN INTERMITTENT FLICKER TO THE POINT THAT IT DOES NOT EVEN FUNCTION AT TIMES. I CAN ONLY NOTICE THIS AT NIGHT TIME (WHEN THE REFLECTION OF THE REAR WINDOW IS MORE VISIBLE) SO I CAN ONLY ASSUME THAT IT DOES IT ALL THE TIME. *TR
THERE IS A DEFECT IN THE 2003 INFINITI G35 COUPE MODELS. THE RADIO AND CLIMATE CONTROL LOOSES CONTROL AND ALL INDICATOR LIGHTS. THE DASH HAS NO FUNCTION AS IF THERE IS NO POWER, BUT DOES CONTINUE TO FUNCTION. THE "AUTO/AC" INDICATOR APPEARS ON THE CONSOLE LETTING YOU KNOW THAT THE CAR HAS TAKEN THE CONTROLS AWAY FROM YOU. THE A/C CLOSES THE VENTS TO ONLY CIRCULATE COLD AIR ON IT'S LAST SETTING. WITH ALL FUNCTIONS TURNED OFF, THE DASH TURNS ITSELF ON TO THE SAME SETTING WITHOUT ANY MANUAL OPERATIONS. THE RADIO VOLUME NOR CHANNELS CANNOT BE CHANGED (OTHER THAN FROM THE STEERING-WHEEL) AND THE AIR CONDITIONING IS STUCK ON THE LAST SETTING AND CANNOT BE CHANGED WITHOUT TURNING THE CAR OFF. IS THIS CAUSED BY A DEFECTIVE CONTROL BOARD? THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP CLAIMS THEY'VE NEVER HEARD OF THIS HAPPENING. ALSO THE CAR TENDS TO LOCK ON ITS OWN. STANDING OUTSIDE TO GET GAS AND YOU HEAR THE DOORS LOCK, SOMETIMES BEFORE YOU CAN WALK AROUND THE CAR TO THE GAS PUMP. *TR
IN APRIL (2010) I NOTICED THAT MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON AND MY VEHICLE WOULD NOT START. I WAITED AND ATTEMPTED TO RESTART IT A FEW TIMES UNTIL IT FINALLY STARTED. I WENT HOME AND I PLANNED ON TAKING MY CAR TO THE INFINITI SERVICE CENTER THE NEXT DAY. WHEN I TOOK MY VEHICLE TO THE INFINIT SERVICE CENTER I WAS TOLD THAT MY CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR NEEDED TO REPLACED. I REPLACED IT THAT DAY AND THEN SEVEN MONTHS LATER IN NOVEMBER MY VEHICLE BEGAN TO REPLICATE THE SAME MALFUNCTIONS. I THOUGHT IT WAS MY BATTERY BECAUSE I HAD JUST HAD THIS PROBLEM FIXED. SO I BOUGHT ANOTHER BATTERY, BUT MY CAR CONTINUED TO NOT START AT RANDOM TIMES. THEREFORE, I TOOK MY VEHICLE BACK UP TO THE INFINITI SERVICE CENTER I WAS TOLD THAT THE CAMSHAFT POSITION B2 WENT OUT. I HAD THAT REPLACED AS WELL. *TT
2003 INFINITI G35 SEDAN 3RD BRAKE LIGHT PREMATURELY FAILS WORKS SPORADICALLY. SOMETIMES IT WORKS, SOMETIMES IT FAILS TO ILLUMINATE AT ALL NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE THUS FAR. I WILL PURSUE FIXING THIS ISSUE MYSELF IF INFINITI WILL NOT COVER THIS AS A DEFECTIVE PART. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 INFINITI G35 SEDAN. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH THE VEHICLE STALLED AND THE CHECK ENGINE, OIL AND BATTERY SERVICE LIGHTS ILLUMINATED ON THE DASHBOARD. UPON RESTARTING THE VEHICLE IT WOULD STALL AGAIN WITHIN A FEW MINUTES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE IT WAS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING EXAMINED FOR THE CAUSE OF FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND INFORMED THAT HIS VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 03V455000, ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 112,044.
ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS IN 2003 INFINITI G35 CAUSES COMPLETE LOSS OF CLIMATE CONTROLS INCLUDING FRONT AND REAR DEFROSTERS, AUDIO CONTROLS ALSO FAIL. INFINITI ISSUED A RECALL BUT ONLYVEHICLES MANUFACTURED BEFORE 8/2002 WERE COVERED. MY VEHICLE WAS BUILT IN 12/ 2002. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 INFINITI G35. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID 03V455000, ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING, AND WOULD NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE WITH THE REPAIRS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 115,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 120,000.
THE AUTO A/C POPS ON ALL BY ITSELF, DISABLING THE ENTIRE DASHBOARD CONTROLS. THE RADIO LIGHTS AND BUTTONS NO LONGER WORK, THE FAN OR TEMPERATURE CANNOT BE ADJUSTED, AND THE DEFROSTERS CANNOT BE USED. THE DEALERSHIP CONCLUDED THAT THE ENTIRE RADIO NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, A PROBLEM THAT IS SO COMMON ON THESE CARS THAT THE REBUILT RADIO PART TO FIX IT IS OFTEN BACKORDERED. ONCE AGAIN IT APPEARS THAT GOOD 'OL INFINITI/NISSAN HAS ISSUED AN INFERIOR TSB FOR THE PROBLEM THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE SCOPE OF VINS AFFECTED BY THIS PROBLEM. SO IF YOU DON'T DIE FROM YOUR DEFECTIVE CRANK SHAFT SENSOR STALLING YOU OUT AT 65MPH, BE SURE TO WATCH OUT FROM CRASHING FROM THE FOG ON YOUR WINDSHIELD BECAUSE YOUR DEFROSTER WON'T WORK. *TR

WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, WITH THE AIR CONDITIONER AND RADIO ACTIVATED, SUDDENLY THE AIR CONDITIONER BLOWER AND RADIO BECAME INOPERABLE WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THEY INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WAS A RECALL RELATED TO THE DEFECT UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 03V455000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 93,000.
I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AND THE CAR STOPPED. I HAD THE CAR TOWED TO A MECHANIC AND HE INFORMED ME THAT THE CAM SHAFT SENSOR AND CRANK SHAFT SENSOR HAS GONE BAD. THERE WAS A NISSAN RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH THIS DEFECT AND THEY REFUSE TO REPAIR THE DEFECT. *TR
THE A/C BECAME STUCK ON AUTOMATIC - BLOWING AIR, CENTER CONSOLE BUTTONS STOPPED WORKING INCLUDING ALL HEATING/AIR CONDITIONING/DEFROST BUTTONS, AS WELL AS CONTROLS FOR THE RADIO AND CD PLAYER; THE RADIO CONTROLS ONLY WORKED THRU STEERING CONTROLS. THIS WAS AN INTERMITTENT PROBLEM FOR ABOUT A YEAR, THEN THE CONTROLS FROZE PERMANENTLY, WITH NO ACCESS TO CENTER CONSOLE BUTTONS TO CONTROL HEATING, COOLING, DEFROST, ETC, WITH NO ACCESS THROUGH THE STEERING CONTROLS TO RADIO. EVENTUALLY, THE RADIO STOPPED WORKING AS WELL. STILL NO ACCESS TO CENTER CONSOLE HEATING, COOLING, AND DEFROST CONTROLS. NO WAY TO DEFROST OR DEFOG WINDSHIELDS! *TT

I HAVE A 2003 INFINITI G35 COUPE WITH A CAM ANGLE SENSOR THAT WENT BAD. THERE WAS A LARGE BATCH OF THESE ISSUED FOR 620,000 VEHICLES, BUT NOT COVERED UNDER MY VIN. I WAS SUPPLIED WITH A FAULTY PART THAT COULD PUT MY LIFE AT RISK IN THE EVENT THE CAR SHUTS OFF ON THE HIGHWAY. *TR
WHILE DRIVING MY 2003 INFINITI G35 IN THE HIGHWAY THE RADIO MADE A CLICK AND REMAINED SILENT FOLLOWED BY THE AC AUTOMATICALLY COMING ON AT FULL POWER. THE DASH CONTROLS CAN NO LONGER BE ACCESSED . AT THE TIME IT IS BOTHERSOME BUT IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS THE CAR IS AT DANGER. IF THIS WAS WINTER EVERYTHING WOULD HAVE FOGGED UP AND WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ABLE TO USE THE DEFROSTER . I HAVE RESEARCHED THIS PROBLEM AND THERE OTHER OWNERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM .THIS PROBLEM IS ELECTRICAL AND IS VERY DANGEROUS WHEN TAKING IT INTO CONTEXT. THERE WAS A VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN FOR THE AUDIO FINISHER CIRCUIT BOARD BUT IT ONLY INCLUDED 23600 CARS. INFINITI SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS AND COVER THE COST. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHO WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN ANY RECALLS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 105,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 115,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER THE FOLLOWING DAY WHO STATED THAT THE BANK ONE POSITION CRANK SHAFT SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO RECUR INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AGAIN WHO REPLACED THE BANK ONE POSITION CRANK SHIFT SENSOR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 124,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 126,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 INFINITI G35 SEDAN. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT 65 MPH, THE AIR CONDITIONER FAN INDEPENDENTLY ACTIVATED AND CAUSED ALL THE WINDOWS TO BECOME FOGGY. THE CONTACT MOVED OFF THE ROADWAY AND OPENED ALL WINDOWS TO CLEAR THE CONDENSATION. THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THE RADIO AND AIR CONDITIONER CIRCUIT MALFUNCTIONED WHICH CAUSED THE FAN TO ACTIVATE AND FOG THE WINDOWS. THE DEALER ADVISED THE FAILURE WAS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE AND THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIRS. THE CONTACT STATED THE FAILURE WAS VERY DANGEROUS WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND COULD POTENTIALLY CAUSE A CRASH. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 32,400.

I JUST BOUGHT A USED 2003 INFINITI G35 A FEW MONTHS AGO. I BELIEVE I AM THE FOURTH OWNER. IT HAS RUN IMMACULATE UNTIL THE LAST COUPLE WEEKS. FOR SOME REASON THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM TAKES ITSELF INTO AUTO MODE AND THE RADIO LIGHTS GO OUT, ALONG WITH THE REST OF THE LIGHTS ON THE PANEL THAT CONTROL THE AC FUNCTIONS. I CANNOT USE ANY OF THOSE BUTTONS TO CHANGE ANYTHING. THE RADIO CONTINUES TO WORK AND I CAN STILL USE THE STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS TO ADJUST THE RADIO, BUT I CAN NO LONGER SEE THE LIGHTS THAT TELL WHAT STATION IT'S ON NOR ADJUST ANYTHING FROM THE PANEL. THE AC GOES OUT OF MANUAL MODE INTO AUTO MODE, WHICH IF I UNDERSTAND IT CORRECTLY, AUTO IS A NORMAL FUNCTION, ADJUSTING ITSELF TO MAINTAIN WHATEVER TEMPERATURE YOU HAVE IT SET AT, BUT THE FACT THAT I CANNOT CHANGE IT BACK TO MANUAL MODE, NOR ANYTHING ELSE ON MY OWN AFTER IT GOES IN THAT MODE, AND TURNS OUT THE PANEL LIGHTS, MAKES ME THINK THIS IS NOT RIGHT. THANK GOD IT IS DEFAULTING TO ON AS IT IS SUMMERTIME AND OVER 90 DEGREES OUTSIDE, BUT STILL GETS VERY COLD AND IS LOUD AT FULL BLAST. HOWEVER, IF THIS WERE WINTER MONTHS, THIS WOULD BE A SAFETY ISSUE AS THERE WOULD BE NO WAY TO DEFROST MY WINDOWS AND OBVIOUSLY CAUSE SERIOUS DISCOMFORT IN HAVING FREEZING COLD AIR BLOW ON YOU IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER. I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL OTHER COMPLAINTS/TECHNICAL SERVICES BULLETINS ABOUT THIS ON MYCARSTATS.COM AND WONDER IF THERE IS ALREADY A RECALL ON THIS. SOME FOLKS HAVE STATED SOMETHING ABOUT A VOLUNTARY RECALL RELATING TO THE CIRCUIT BOARD... OTHERS HAVE STATED A VOLUNTARY RECALL FOR THE EQUIPMENT RELATING TO THIS BUT ONLY INCLUDED THE RECALL ON CERTAIN VIN NUMBERS. I BOUGHT THIS CAR USED, SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THIS SITE FIRST. I NOW HAVE TO REPLACE MY BRAKES ONCE A YEAR BECAUSE THEY WEAR PREMATURELY. THAT IS A $1000 JOB. ONLY HAVE HAS THE CAR FOR 3 YEARS. LAST YEAR IN 09, THE CD PLAYER STOPPED WORKING WITH 6 CD'S STUCK IN THE CHANGER, I HAD NATIONWIDE INFINITY LOOK INTO THIS, WHEN THEY SAID IT WOULD BE $1400 TO FIX, BUT MY YEAR CAR HAS THESE PROBLEMS. THEN JUST THE OTHER DAY, BEING JUNE 5TH 2010 MY RADIO WOULD NOT COME ON AT ALL AND I NOW HAVE NO CONTROL OVER MY AIR CONDITION. IT IS STUCK ON 70 FULL BLAST. NOW WASTING A TON OF GAS ALSO. I CALLED NATIONWIDE TO MAKE AN APPT, WHEN I DISCUSSED THE ISSUE, THE SERVICE ADVISOR THEN SAID " LET ME GUESS, 2003 G35" I SAID OH, SO YOU KNOW THIS ISSUE, HE SAID YES WE SEE IT ALL THE TIME, YOUR LOOKING AT !600 TO FIX! I THEN CALL INFINITY HEADQUARTER TO FILE A COMPLAINT TO HAVE THEM TAKE CARE OF THE ISSUE DUE TO IT BEING A KNOWN ISSUE WITH NO RECALL. IM A SINGLE MOM, SO NOT HAVE THIS MONEY LAYING AROUND. I THINK ITS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE DUE TO ME NOT HAVING ANY CONTROL OVER THE FRONT OR REAR DEFROSTERS! I AM CONTACTING ALL LOCAL NEWS STATIONS TO GET SOME HELP! *TR

THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VIN WASN'T INCLUDED IN RECALL 03V455000, ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; HOWEVER, HE SHOULD TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING SINCE THEY MIGHT CONSIDER ASSISTING HIM WITH THE REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WASN'T REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 137,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 144,800.
