CONTINENTAL PRO CONTACT TX TIRE-DOT A35L WBJD A18 CONTINUAL AIR LEAKAGE PROBLEM FOR THE PAST 6 MONTHS. 4 TO 5 LBS LOST EACH WEEK. 16,000 MILES ON THE TIRE AND HAD TO REPLACE WITH NO SUPPORT FROM CONTINENTAL DEALER. COULD NOT FIND LEAK AND WOULD NOT AMORTIZE THE COST. CAN THE NHTSA ANALYZE THE TIRE FOR POTENTIAL HAZARDS. I HAVE THIS TIRE IN MY POSSESSION.
WHEN BACKING OUT OF FLAT DRIVEWAY ONTO A DOWNHILL SLOPE THE VEHICLE TRANSMISSION FAILS TO GO INTO DRIVE, SEEMING TO BE HUNG UP IN NEUTRAL FOR 3 MAYBE 4 SECONDS THEN INTO DRIVE. THIS PROBLEM HAS ALSO PRESENTED ITSELF WHEN BACKING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE ON ANY GRADE. TRANSMISSION AND ENGINE WERE FLASHED BY DEALER AT 5200 MILES. NO IMPROVEMENT. MECHANICS AT DEALERSHIP SAID THEY ARE NOT AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. AT 5215 MILES SHE GOING BACK TO SHOP. SAME ISSUE. VEHICLE IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE!
MY CAR IS HAVING AN ISSUE WITH STARTING UP ITS DELAYING AS IF ITS FLOODED. IT DOES IT WITH THE AUTOMATIC START UP AND THE KEY START UP. IT IS PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY OR IN PARKING LOTS AT A STORE OR WORK. THE RADIATOR FLUID IS ALWAYS SHOWING LOW THERE IS NO CRACKS OR LEAKS SOMETHING IS DEFINITELY WRONG. I CHECK EVERY TIME I DRIVE IT THEN PARK.
2019 JEEP CHEROKEE 4X4 LATITUDE WITH 15500 MILES..BRAKE PEDAL PULSATING WHEN STOPPING..FRONT ROTORS WARPED BAD..DEALER REPLACED FRONT PADS AND ROTORS
2019 JEEP CHEROKEE COMPLETELY STALLED WHILE DECELERATING ON THE INTERSTATE. LOST ALL POWER, STEERING, AND BRAKES. WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AS SOON AS I PUT IT IN PARK. CALLED 3 DIFFERENT JEEP DEALERS WHO TOLD ME THEY CAN'T DIAGNOSE IT UNLESS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS IN AND THAT I SHOULD CALL BACK IF IT DOES IT AGAIN. THE 4 CYLINDER MODEL HAS A RECALL FOR A SOFTWARE GLITCH FOR THE EXACT SAME ISSUE, BUT MINE IS A V6. I HOPE I LIVE THROUGH REPLICATING THE EXPERIENCE SO I CAN CALL THE DEALER TO BE TOLD THEY CAN'T/WON'T FIGURE OUT WHAT'S WRONG.
WAS DRIVING OUR 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE 3.2L TRAILHAWK AND AS WE WERE BRAKING FOR A STOP SIGN IT JUST DIED ON US. IT STARTED BACK UP BUT STUTTERED AS IT TURNED OVER. SOMETHING IS A MISS BECAUSE IT HAS NEVER DID THIS. ALWAYS RUNS GREAT IN THE PAST???? WHAT IN THE WORLD 🌎 IS GOING ON???
MY VEHICLE STALLS FOR NO REASON AND I'M TERRIFIED TO DRIVE IT
WHILE COMING TO A STOP AT A FREEWAY ENTRANCE I SLOWED THEN WHEN I WAS ABLE TO ENTER THE TRAFFIC STREAM I ACCELERATED AND THERE WAS NO ACCELERATION OR WAS SLOWER THAN NORMAL. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES. THE CAR ENGINE IN NOT OFF BUT AT IDLE. THIS IS DANGEROUS BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO ACCELERATE RAPIDLY. SOMETIMES ACCELERATION COMES ON ABRUPTLY AFTER 2 SECONDS OF PEDAL BEING PUSHED DOWN
WHEN EXCELLING ON THE HIGHWAY THERE IS A VIBRATION FELT IN THE STEERING, SUSPENSION AND OR DRIVE-LINE STARTING AT 60 MPH. THE VIBRATION INCREASES WITH SEVERITY TO THE POINT OF WHERE IT FEELS UNSAFE TO INCREASE ABOVE 75 TO 80 MPH. GENERALLY BELOW 60 MPH OR COSTING AT 60-70 MPH DOWN GRADE THE VIBRATION SEEM TO BE REGULAR ROAD SENSATION.
THE AIR BAG LIGHT COMES ON AN D WILL NOT GO OFF. THE LIGHT SAY SERVICE AIR BAG. HAVE TAKEN IT TO A DEALERSHIP TO CHECK THE ISSUE. THEY THOUGHT PINCHED WIRE AND THEY REPAIRED IT; HOWEVER AFTER 2 DAYS THE LIGHT RETURNED. FIRST LIGHT CAME ON 07/19/2020 AND TOOK THE DEALER TO RUN DIAGNOSTIC TEST TO SEE WHAT THE ISSUES 07/29/2020.
THE CHEROKEE SUDDENLY AND UNEXPECTEDLY TURNS OFF. LUCKILY WHILE STANDING AT A RED LIGHT. WAS AT THE DEALERSHIP - DROVE SEVERAL MILES WITHOUT FINDING AN ISSUE. TODAY (8-5-2020) IT HAPPENED AGAIN FOR THE THIRD TIME.
I'M NOT SURE IF I PICKED THE CORRECT CATEGORY. BUT BASICALLY SOMETIME WHEN I STOP MY VEHICLE SHUTS OFF. IT HAS HAPPENED A FEW TIMES NOW. MY CAR NO LONGER DOES THE THING WHEN IT TURNS THE ENGINE OFF TO SAVE FUEL. MY VEHICLE ALSO STARTS SO SOMETIMES, LIKE IT'S HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE ENGINE TURNING OVER.
1029 JEEP CHEROKEE LIMITED, BOUGHT IN JUNE 2020 WITH ABOUT 20000M ON IT. BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON IN MID TRAFFIC ON JULY 13, AND WOULD NOT TURN OFF. TOOK IT BACK TO DEALER/SERVICE A WEEK LATER, THEY COULD NOT FIND THE PROBLEM. 2 DAYS LATER, SAME THING, BATTERY LIGHT COMES ON IN THE MIDDLE OF A MAJOR THUNDERSTORM AND LOTS OF TRAFFIC. CALLED FOR ANOTHER APPOINTMENT, 7 DAYS OUT BECAUSE THE SERVICE DEPT. HAS NO TIME. WILL NOT PROVIDE RENTAL OR OTHER COMPENSATION. I AM ASKING TO RETURN THE CAR. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. I HAD A 2000 CHEROKEE LIMITED FOR MANY YEARS, THEN A JEEP COMPASS, NEVER A THING WRONG WITH EITHER CAR, AND NOW THIS!
ENGINE TURNED OFF ROUNDING A CORNER WITH NO WARNING. WAS ABLE TO RESTART VEHICLE AND GET BACK HOME SLOWLY. THE OIL WAS BARELY ON THE DIPSTICK AT THE BOTTOM WHEN I CHECKED IT. I HAD TO ADD 3 QUARTS OF OIL TO GET IT BACK TO THE NORMAL LEVEL. THIS OCCURRED APPROXIMATELY 2600 MILES AFTER AN OIL CHANGE. ON AVERAGE, THIS VEHICLE REQUIRES THE ADDITION OF APPROXIMATELY 1 QUART OF OIL EVERY 900 MILES. EXTREMELY HIGH OIL CONSUMPTION. NO SIGNS OF A LEAK ANYWHERE IN MY GARAGE OR ON THE VEHICLE. HAVE NOT HAD ANY OTHER PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLE OTHER THAN HAVING TO ADD A QUART OF OIL EVERY 2ND-3RD FILL UP AT GAS STATION.
ON 7/12/2020. MY 2019,JEEP CHEROKEE LATITUDE 4X4. THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM ENGAGED THE EMERGENCY BRAKES AND WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO DISENGAGE THE SYSTEM RE-ENGINEERING AND VEHICLE CAN NOT MOVE DUE TO THIS. AND I DON'T KNOW WHY AND HOW SAFE THIS MY BE IF IT HAPPENED ON THE ROAD? NEED TO FIX THIS
THE POWER STEERING JUST RANDOMLY WENT OUT ON A NEW PRE CERTIFIED VEHICLE FROM CAR MAX WITH 51K MILES. MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN
AIR BAG ON PASSENGER SIDE NEAR BOTTOM OF DASH IS FALLING OUT. WAS PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY WITH 11345 MILES ONIT DUTCH MILLER SAID IT WAS NOT UNDER WARRANTY AND WANTED 800.00 TO REPAIR IT MADE ME PAY 122.99 JUST FOR LOOKING AT IT.
I HAVE RECEIVED WARNINGS ON MY DASH SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS BRAND NEW. AUTO STOP START CONTINUES TO MALFUNCTION . PARKING BRAKE DEPLOYS ITSELF AND SOME DAYS THE STEEP WON'T TURN ON AND TOUCH SCREEN DOESN'T WORK. SINCE ALL THIS HAPPENS WHILE I AM DRIVING AND NOT AT DEALERSHIP THEY INSIST IT DOESN'T OCCUR AND HAVEN'T REPAIRED EVEN AFTER KEEPING MY VEHICLE IN THEIR SHOP FOR THE FIRST SIX MONTHS I OWNED IT.
MY 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE 2.4L ENGINE STALLS WHENEVER THE OIL LEVEL GETS BELOW 60%. IT USUALLY HAPPENS WHEN MAKING TURNS OR SLOWING DOWN. THE ENTIRE CAR SHUTS OFF WHILE IN DRIVE AND SHOWS THE BATTERY LIGHT ON DASH. LATEST TIME WAS WHEN I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY GOING 80 MPH WHEN THE CAR STALLS WHEN MAKING A TURN AROUND A BEND. I HAVE BEEN IN 3 ALMOST ACCIDENTS BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE. I'VE TAKEN IT IN TO A DEALERSHIP AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS TO PROTECT THE ENGINE IF THE OIL LEVELS GO TO LOW. HAVE TO PUT THE CAR INTO PARK THEN SHUT THE CAR OFF COMPLETELY, THEN START IT UP AGAIN. LAST HAPPENED 2 MONTHS AGO BEFORE AN OIL CHANGE AND NOW EXPERIENCING WITH 61% OIL LIFE AND CHECKED THE DIPSTICK WHICH WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH OIL TO RUN.
IT STARTED RAINING YESTERDAY AND WHEN THE WIPERS WERE TURNED ON THE DRIVERS SIDE WENT ACROSS LIKE SOMEONE BENT IT RIPPED IT OFF. WE STOPPED AT A GAS STATION TO FIX IT LONG ENOUGH TO GET TO A OREILLYS AND HAD THE BLADES REPLACED. LUCKILY IT STOPPED RAINING AND WE MADE IT HOME SAFELY. PROBLEM TODAY IS THAT THE ISSUE IS STILL THERE AND WE CAN'T GET THE VEHICLE LOOKED AT UNTIL WEDNESDAY. PRAYING THAT IT WILL GET FIXED WITHOUT ANY OTHER ISSUES. WE ONLY HAVE 26K MILES EVEN THOUGH IT WAS USED FROM CARMAX IT APPEARED TO BE IT DECENT CONDITION. I NEVER EXPECTED ANYTHING LIKE THAT TO HAPPEN AND I AM GLAD WE DID NOT HAVE AN ACCIDENT.
ENGINE STALLED WHILE DRIVING AND TURNING. THE BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON THE DASHBOARD AND THE 'D' DRIVE WAS BLINKING. HAD TO COAST THE CAR TO A SAFE SPOT AT HOME, PUT IN PARK TURNED CAR OFF, THEN RESTARTED. SCARED AND DANGEROUS MOMENT.

A MESSAGE DISPLAYED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL INSTRUCTED THE CONTACT TO RESTART THE ENGINE. CROWLEY CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM 1461 FARMINGTON AVE, BRISTOL, CT 06010, (860)261-3000 WAS CONTACTED AND AN APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED TO HAVE THE VEHICLE DIAGNOSED WHICH WAS STILL PENDING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
VEHICLE RANDOMLY LOSES POWER WHILE DRIVING. ENGINE HAS PLENTY OF OIL. AFTER CAR SHUTS OFF SOMETIMES IT WON'T TURN RIGHT BACK ON. NO ENGINE LIGHTS POP UP INDICATING ISSUE WITH CAR BEFORE OR AFTER. RANDOMLY CAR WILL NOT TURN ON AFTER BEING PARKED EITHER FOR HOURS (AT HOME) OR MINUTES (PARKING LOT) SOMETIMES WILL TURN ON, SOMETIMES NOT AT ALL. PLENTY OF OIL IN CAR. NO ENGINE LIGHTS FLASH BEFORE OR AFTER PROBLEM.
MY CAR HAS STALLED ON ME A TOTAL OF 8 TIMES. TODAY WHILE AT THE GAS STATION I TURNED MY CAR OFF AND HAD TO WAIT IN THE HEAT FOR MY CAR TO REBOOT AND COME BACK ON. I SPOKE WITH SOME ONE IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WHO TOLD ME THAT THE RECALL HAD BEEN TAKEN CARE OF AND THAT WE SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY OTHER PROBLEMS JUST 1 WK AND A HALF AGO WHEN MY CAR WAS SERVICED. WE ARE CURRENTLY HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. I'M FURIOUS! I CALL AND CALL AND GET THE RUN AROUND AND NOW AM TOLD SINCE I HAVE 65000 MILES I MAY NOW HAVE TO COVER THE EXPENSES OF A NEW STARTER BECAUSE OF THEIR MESS UP.
ENGINE CONSUMES OIL. THE ENGINE CONSUMES MORE THAN A QUART OF OIL EVERY 1000 TO 1500 MILES, AND WHEN THE OIL IS TOO LOW THE ENGINE SHUTS DOWN. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS WHEN DRIVING ON THE EXPRESS WAYS OR IN TRAFFIC.
THE UCONNECT SYSTEM IS MALFUNCTIONING WHEN IN MOTION. IT IS RANDOMCLY CALLING PEOPLE, NAV IS A MESS AND NOT WORKING, RADIO WILL SWITCH FROM FM/AM/SATTELITE STATIONS, EVERY THING IS HAPHAZARDLY MESSED UP. I FEEL IT VERY DANGEROUS AS IT IS SO DISTRACTING. I TRADED THE CAR YESTERDAY SO I WOULD NOT GET IN AN ACCIDENT.

THE VEHICLE WA TAKEN TO DEACON JONES CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (1109 N BRIGHTLEAF BLVD, SMITHFIELD, NC 27577, (919) 934-2101) TO BE DIAGNOSED HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE OIL WAS REPLACED IN THE VEHICLE HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 42,161.
ON JUNE 15, 2020, I TURNED LEFT ONTO A CITY STREET AND MY VEHICLE BEGAN MAKING THE WARNING SOUND, THE SAME SOUND WHEN THE SEATBELT ISN'T BUCKLED. A FEW SECONDS LATER WHEN I TURNED RIGHT INTO ANOTHER CITY STREET, THE BATTERY LEVEL WARNING CAME ON, THEN THE ENTIRE DASH LIT UP AND THE VEHICLE QUIT. AFTER A FEW ATTEMPTS TO RESTART, THE ENGINE CAME BACK ON. THE NEXT DAY AFTER I MADE A LEFT TURN, THE SAME THING OCCURRED, THE BATTERY LEVEL FLASHED ON THE DASH, THEN THE ENTIRE DASH LIT UP AND THE ENGINE SHUT DOWN. I WASN'T ABLE TO STEER THE VEHICLE TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD. IT TOOK 5 ATTEMPTS BEFORE THE ENGINE WOULD RESTART. ON THE JUNE 18TH SOON AFTER I PULLED OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY ONTO A CITY STREET, THE SAME EVENT OCCURRED, THE DASH LIT UP AND THE ENGINE STOPPED, HOWEVER THIS TIME I WASN'T MAKING A TURN, BUT I HAD SLOWED DOWN BECAUSE ANOTHER VEHICLE COMING IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION HAD VEERED CLOSE TO MY SIDE OF THE ROAD.IT TOOK SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO RESTART THE ENGINE, AND IT SOON CUT OFF AGAIN BEFORE I GOT IT BACK IN THE DRIVEWAY. WHEN THIS OCCURRED, THERE IS NO WAY TO GUIDE THE VEHICLE TO THE SIDE. I WAS VERY FORTUNATE THAT I WASN'T HIT. NOW I AM TOO SCARED TO DRIVE MY VEHICLE. *TR

THERE JEEP HAS DIFFERENT ACCELERATION THAT ARE UNSAFE. WITH REGULAR DRIVING YOU CAN GIVE IT GAS AND IT'S SLOW GOING THEN SOME TIMES IT WILL JUMP PICKING UP SPEED FAST. THIS HAPPENS WHEN YOU PUSH THE ACCELERATOR DOWN THE SANE WITH EITHER WAY IT SPEED UP. MY CONCERN IS IF IM BEHIND SOMEONE AT A LIGHT AND I GO TO TAKE OFF IT MIGHT DO THE THING WHERE IT PICKS UP SPEED FAST AND I RUN IN BACK OF SOMEONE. THIS ISN'T SAFE AT ALL. *TR

THEN PRECEDED TO DRIVE AND THE JEEP JUST ROARED AND DID NOT ACCELERATE, I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD THEN HERE COMES TRAFFIC CLOSER. THE TRANSMISSION IS A PROBLEM. THERE IS NO FIXING, EVERY JEEP SHIP I GO TO, THEY DON'T FINE NOTHING. *TR

IF YOU DO A SEARCH ONLINE, YOU'LL SEE MANY OTHER JEEP OWNERS ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME ISSUE. PLEASE HELP BEFORE SOMEONE GETS KILLED. SOMETIMES NOTHING GETS DONE UNTIL SOMEONE GETS SERIOUSLY HURT. UNFORTUNATELY, THE FEAR OF A LAWSUIT AFTER SOMEONE GETS SERIOUSLY HURT IS WHAT HAS TO HAPPEN BEFORE ANY ACTION IS TAKEN BY MANUFACTURERS. PLEASE HELP ALL OF US AVOID THAT.

THE STEERING WHEEL JERKS FROM LEFT TO RIGHT WHEN DRIVING. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN AS IT COULD CAUSE LOSS OF CONTROL. IT HAPPENS CONTINUOUSLY WHEN TRAVELING ABOVE 55MPH, GOING STRAIGHT, AND TURNING. I HAVE HAD A DEALERSHIP LOOK AT THIS AND THEY CLAIM THERE IS NO ISSUE AND THAT IT IS THE ELECTRONIC STEERING CONTROL KICKING IN. THEY ALSO HAD OTHER COMPLAINTS FROM MULTIPLE 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE OWNERS AND THEY SPOKE TO CHRYSLER ABOUT IT AND WERE TOLD THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO.
MY 16 MONTH OLD JEEP TURNS OFF WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING IT. THIS HAS OCCURRED TWICE IN THE PRIOR TWO WEEKS. NO WARNING LIGHTS--THE CAR JUST TURNS OFF COMPLETELY. I HAVE BEEN ADVISED THIS IS DUE TO A DROP IN OIL PRESSURE, BUT THE OIL PRESSURE LIGHT DOESN'T COME ON. THE CAR HAS BEEN MAINTAINED ACCORDING TO THE GUIDELINES WITHIN THE MANUAL WHICH STATES TO CHANGE THE OIL WHEN THE ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND THAT IT SHOULD NEVER GO BEYOND 10,000 MILES BETWEEN OIL CHANGES. WHEN THE CAR WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR THE ISSUE WE WERE ADVISED THAT THE REALITY IS THAT THE OIL NEEDS CHANGED EVERY 4,000 MILES AND THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE AND THAT MORE FREQUENT OIL CHANGES REDUCES THE LIKELIHOOD OF THIS OCCURRING. MY 16 YEAR OLD SON WAS DRIVING THE CAR THE FIRST TIME THIS OCCURRED AND THE SECOND TIME IT WAS ON A 45 MILE AN HOUR ROAD. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE AND YET CHRYSLER/JEEP DOES NOTHING TO RESOLVE IT.

THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THERE WAS A METAL ON METAL SOUND WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,000.
MY CAR HAS TURNED OFF ON ME SEVERAL TIMES SINCE I BOUGHT IT. IT SLOWLY STARTS AND SHUTS OFF WHEN I MAKE A TURN. I BOUGHT MY JEEP CHEROKEE LATITUDE PLUS IN MAY 2019. 6 MONTHS LATER THE STOP/GO FUNCTION STALLED AND THE CAR TURNED OFF DURING A TURN AT THE LIGHT. I ALMOST GOTTEN REAR ENDED WITH MY DAUGHTER IN THE BACK SEAT. HAD TO PUT IT IN PARK TO GET IT TO TURN ON AGAIN, MIND YOU I AM STILL IN THE INTERSECTION. THE CAR TURNED ON BUT CONTINUALLY DID THAT AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK. THE IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE, I DO NOT KNOW HOW IT HAS 4 OUT OF 5 STARS. THE CAR HAS A HARD TIME STARTING. I HAVE TO TRY SEVERAL TIMES TO TURN IT ON. UNTIL RECENTLY, IT JUST WON'T TURN ON ANY LONGER. BATTERY IS FINE. THE STARTER IS NOT DOING ITS JOB. I HAVE TO GET IT TOWED TO THE DEALER ABOUT AN HOUR AWAY TO GET IT LOOKED AT AND FIXED. DON'T KNOW IF IT CAN GET FIXED. I HAVE READ THAT OTHER OWNERS OF THIS VEHICLE HAVE HAD THE SAME TROUBLE AND SEEMS AS THOUGH THEIR CAR IS ALWAYS IN TROUBLE.

SOMETIMES THE CAR WON'T START THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS COMES ON WITHOUT THE SWITCH EVEN BEING TURNED THE EMERGENCY BRAKE SETS ITSELF THE VEHICLE WON'T GO INTO GEAR OR JUMPS INTO NEUTRAL ALL THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH BOARD COMES ON AND GOS CRAZY.. RADIO IS STATIC
EXCESSIVE ENGINE OIL CONSUMPTION. NO LEAKS BUT HAVE TO ADD ENGINE OIL EVERY 1,000 - 2,000 MILES. THE CAR IS BRAND NEW LESS THAN 10,000 MILES ON IT. IT SHOULD NOT BE USING ENGINE OIL. HAVE HAD CARS BEFORE THAT NEVER USED OIL. THIS CAR SHOULDN'T BE GOING THROUGH THIS MUCH OIL THIS FAST. I HAD TO TOP OFF THE ENGINE OIL TWICE AND IT'S GOT LESS THAN 2,500 MILES ON IT.
The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated that there was an abnormal sound coming from under the hood while driving. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be test-driven however, the mechanic was unable to duplicate the issue. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and suggested that the vehicle be taken back to the dealer to be diagnosed. A case was opened. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer but was not diagnosed nor repaired. The contact stated while driving at 50 mph, the accelerator pedal was depressed however, the vehicle failed to accelerate above 50 mph. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 4,000.
