I HAVE OWNED A 2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE FOR TWO YEARS. IN DECEMBER 2010 I WAS DRIVING IN TRAFFIC WITH MY I INFANT DAUGHTER AND ALL OF A SUDDEN MY SEAT LIKE SNAPPED OFF AT THE BOTTOM AND I AM IN THE BACK SEAT. LUCKILY NO ONE WAS HURT. THE METAL BROKE. I KNOW IM LIKE THE MILLIONTH COMPLAINT. I AM A SINGLE MOM AND CANNOT AFFORD TO HAVE THIS EXPENSE OR RISK GETTING INTO AN ACCIDENT. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE THAT NEEDS YOUR IMMEDIATE ATTENTION. *LN
2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE HEATER/DEFROSTER FAILURE. INTERMITTENTLY WHILE DRIVING, THE HEATER/DEFROSTER STOPS BLOWING HOT AIR AND BLOWS COLD. I LIVE IN A CITY WHERE WE GET SNOW AND FOG, AND TEMPS GO BELOW ZERO. HAVING A MALFUNCTIONING DEFROSTER IS A SAFETY ISSUE. THIS HAS OCCURRED IN A SNOWSTORM, AND I HAD TO PARK THE VEHICLE BESIDE THE ROAD AND CALL A FAMILY MEMBER TO PICK ME UP BECAUSE I COULD NOT KEEP ICE FROM FORMING INSIDE MY WINDSHIELD. I WAS STUCK BESIDE THE ROAD WITH A 2 YEAR OLD CHILD, IN THE SNOW! SOMETIMES TURNING OFF THE VEHICLE AND RESTARTING WILL HELP, OTHER TIMES, IT WILL RANDOMLY TURN BACK ON. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD A SNAPPING SOUND FROM UNDER THE SEAT AND NOTICED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE SEAT BEGAN TO ROCK BACK AND FORTH ABNORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING WHERE THE TECHNICIAN ADVISED THAT THE ADJUSTER WELD TO THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE SEAT WAS FRACTURED AND WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
I HAD JUST BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE AND TAKING THE OFF RAMP IN A HARD ARC WHILE SLOWING DOWN I FELT THE DRIVERS SEAT MOVE. I ONLY HAD A COUPLE OF HUNDRED YARDS TO GO SO I WAITED TO CHECK IT WHEN I GOT HOME. THE FRONT LEFT SEAT BRACKET HAD SHEARED AWAY LEAVING THE SEAT SITTING AT A FUNNY ANGLE. THIS IS A DANGEROUS THING TO HAPPEN. LUCKILY, NO ONE WAS HURT.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED HIM THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS. THE CONTACT DID NOT INFORM THE MANUFACTURER OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 98,000. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 95,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
TOTAL LOSS OF HEAT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. NOW THE DRIVERS SIDE HAS NO HEAT EITHER. I LIVE IN CANADA AND WE NEED THE HEAT TO WORK OR THE VEHICLE IS TOTALLY USELESS IF YOU CAN'T SEE OUT THE WINDSHIELD! JEEP DEALERS ARE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM, BUT WON'T FIX IT BY RECALL. THEY EXPECT YOU TO PAY ANYWHERE FROM 800-1500 FOR THEM TO FIX IT AND A LOSS OF YOUR JEEP FOR AT LEAST 3 DAYS. THIS IS NUTS! *TR
2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE HAS EXPERIENCED PROLONGED ACCELERATION PROBLEMS. THE PROBLEM AT FIRST WAS SUBTLE, ACCELERATING SLOWLY BUT NOTICEABLY AT ANY SPEED OVER 35 MPH. EVENTUALLY, THE CAR DIED AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT. MECHANICS REPAIRED THE THROTTLE BODY. WITHIN TWO WEEKS OF THE REPAIR, THE CAR BEGAN UNWARRANTED ACCELERATION AT FULL THROTTLE. ENGINE RED LINED WHEN PUT INTO PARK OR NEUTRAL. GENUINE JEEP PART REPLACED THE AFTERMARKET THROTTLE BODY. UNWARRANTED ACCELERATION PROBLEM CONTINUED...ACCELERATOR WAS DETERMINED TO HAVE A "STICKING PROBLEM" AND WAS REPAIRED AND/OR CLEANED. THE PROBLEM PERSISTS...THIS TIME, AGAIN, THE THROTTLE BODY IS APPARENTLY THE TARGET OF BLAME. IN THIS SITUATION MY BRAKES/EMERGENCY BRAKE AND NOT SUFFICIENT TO HOLD BACK THE JEEP. THIS IS A DANGEROUS AND VERY SCARY SITUATION WHICH NEEDS TO BE SERIOUSLY ADDRESSED BY THE MANUFACTURER. TOTAL REPAIR COSTS TO DATE: APPROX. $500.00. *TR
2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO: HEATER/DEFROSTER INTERMITTENTLY BLOWS COLD AIR WHILE DRIVING. WHILE DRIVING IN THE WINTER WITH HEAT AND/OR DEFROST ON AND TEMP CONTROL TURNED TO WARM/HOT, SUDDENLY THERE IS COLD AIR ONLY. IN RAIN/SNOW WINDSHIELD WILL FROST OVER MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE. THIS DEFECT MAY ONLY LAST A FEW MINUTES, MAYBE LONGER. IF I STOP THE ENGINE FOR A MINUTE OR TWO, AND DON'T TOUCH THE HEATER CONTROLS, RESTART THE CAR, THERE IS HEAT AGAIN TO DEFROST THE GLASS. THIS HOWEVER MAY ONLY LAST A FEW MINUTES OR MAYBE AN HOUR. IF THE ENGINE IS STOPPED AGAIN AND RESTARTED, THERE IS HEAT AGAIN. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AS A COLD DEFROSTER IN A SNOWSTORM CAUSES ICE BUILDUP INSIDE THE CAR. I HAVE SEEN MANY HEAT/DEFROST PROBLEMS WITH THIS GENERATION OF GC'S ON THE INTERNET. I HAVE TO QUESTION WHY CHRYSLER HAS NOT ISSUED A RECALL FOR SUCH A DANGER TO MYSELF AND OTHERS. *TR
I PURCHASED A 2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LIMITED IN 2007 AND IT HAD 25,000 MILES AND ONE OWNER. AT 40,000 MILES THE BLEND DOORS FAILED DUE TO DEFECT OF CHEAP PLASTIC AND SHODDY CONSTRUCTION. MOST JEEP DEALERS WANT $1500.00 TO REPAIR THIS ISSUE. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND CHRYSLER SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE AND PAY FOR FULL REPAIR OF THIS MALFUNCTIONING DESIGN. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TURN SIGNALS WOULD FAIL INTERMITTINGLY. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES BUT THE PROBLEM WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
I WAS IN MY GARAGE AND PUT MY 2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE INTO REVERSE AND IT ACCELERATED LIKE A BULLET OUT OF THE GARAGE AND I ENDED UP JUMPING OUT AND FALLING ON THE GROUND AND THE CAR HIT MY NEIGHBORS WALL. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AS IT RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. THE FAILURE WOULD OCCUR INTERMITTENTLY UNTIL PROGRESSIVELY BECOMING WORSE. ON ONE OCCASION, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 60,500.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED, THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED EACH TIME THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER BUT THE FAILURE WAS UNABLE TO BE DETERMINED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 12V527000 (AIR BAGS) AND 15V046000 (AIR BAGS). HOWEVER, THE PARTS NEEDED TO DO THE REPAIRS WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.

THE DEALER STATED THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE DELAY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT HAD EXPERIENCED THE FAILURE. THE AIR BAG LIGHT WAS VIABLE ON THE INSTRUMENTAL PANEL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE .THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 10 MPH, THE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT FAILED AS WELL AS THE BLINKERS. THE DEALER ADVISED THERE WAS A SHORT IN THE CIRCUIT THAT CONTINUOUSLY CAUSED THE FUSE TO FAIL. THERE WERE NO REPAIRS. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 74,000.
I AM THE OWNER OF A 2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE SUV. RECENTLY, THE DRIVERS SIDE POWER WINDOW EXPERIENCED A MALFUNCTION AND WILL NOT WORK. THE PROBLEM WAS DIAGNOSED AS A DEFECTIVE REGULATOR. THE REPAIR COST $516. I HAVE INVESTIGATED THIS ISSUE ON THE WEB AND HAVE DETERMINED THAT THIS ISSUE WITH THE JEEP POWER WINDOW REGULATOR IS A WIDESPREAD, SYSTEMIC PROBLEM WITH ALL JEEP VEHICLES. I BELIEVE THAT CHRYSLER SHOULD INITIATE A RECALL ON THIS PART. *TR
WIRING HARNESS THAT GOES BEHIND VALVE COVER IS MELTED. I HAVE HAD TO HAVE MY 2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE'S # 3 INJECTION WIRE REPLACED TWICE. ONCE BEFORE 70,000 MILES AND AGAIN WITHIN THE LAST YEAR. WHILE IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY THE VEHICLE WOULD SPIT AND SPUTTER AND I'D SMELL GAS. THE VEHICLE WOULD STALL. THE FACILITY CHANGED THE #3 INJECTOR AND IT RAN OKAY FOR A SHORT TIME. IT DID IT AGAIN AND "SOMETHING ELSE" WAS THE PROBLEM. TRAVELING AFTER THE FIRST 'FIX' AND IT BOGGED DOWN, HEAVY GAS SMELL, HESITATION, ETC. THE #3 WIRE REPLACED. A LITTLE OVER 1000 MILES TO NEXT DESTINATION AND IT TOOK 4 TANKS OF GAS, HORRIBLE SMELL, SPIT AND SPUTTER, ETC. LIMPED INTO PORT, #3 WIRE AND INJECTOR REPLACED ALONG WITH A TUNEUP FOR FOULED PLUGS. THIS YEAR IT HAPPENED AGAIN. TOOK IT IN AND WAS SHOWN THE WIRING HARNESS IS MELTED. #3 WIRE REPLACED. THIS HAS BEEN COSTLY AND EVEN THOUGH THE FACILITY SEES THE MELTED HARNESS THEY HAVEN'T QUESTIONED WHY. IS THIS A FIRE HAZARD WAITING TO HAPPEN? I'M NOT SURE OF THE DATES BUT CAN HUNT DONE PAPERWORK IF NEEDED. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE AND BOTH REAR WINDOWS HAD TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MOTORS FAILED IN ALL THREE WINDOWS AND THE WINDOWS WOULD NOT STAY IN THE UPRIGHT POSITION. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
THE DRIVERS SIDE SEAT HAS A BROKEN BRACKET THAT ALLOWS THE ASSEMBLY TO ROCK BACK AND FORTH. IT WAS PERFECTLY FINE UNTIL LAST WEEK. I HAVE OWNED THIS VEHICLE SINCE 2002 AND THE SEAT WAS NEVER A PROBLEM. I HAVE FOUND NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ABOUT SEAT BREAKAGE ON THE JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO AND MANY OTHER JEEP MODELS. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE WHEN ALL ATTACHMENT POINTS BREAK AND THE SEAT IS NO LONGER ATTACHED TO THE MOUNTS. *TR

WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS TRAVELLING AT APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, ANOTHER VEHICLE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD MOVED INTO THE CONTACTS LANE AND BOTH VEHICLES COLLIDED IN A FRONTAL CRASH. WHILE THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG DEPLOYED, THE DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG DID NOT. THE CONTACT SUFFERED HEAD INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. SHE CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND FILED A REPORT; NO ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED BUT NO ONE INSPECTED IT TO FIND OUT WHY DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 80,000.
DRIVER'S SEAT SUPPORT BROKE AND NOW THE SEAT WOBBLES. I HAVE DISCOVERED THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TO A LOT OF PEOPLE. IT JUST HAPPENED TODAY WHILE I WAS DRIVING AND I HAVE NOT FIGURED OUT WHERE TO TAKE IT FOR REPAIR YET. *TR

THE FOLLOWING DAY THE VEHICLE OPERATED NORMALLY; HOWEVER, THE IDENTICAL FAILURES OCCURRED ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS RELATED TO THE FRONT CONTROL MODULE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED AT THIS TIME. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 112,000. UPDATED 6/21/10 *CN THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE WOULD SHUT OFF WITH NO WARNING AND WOULD NOT RESTART. IT WAS DETERMINED THE CRANK SENSOR BECAME EXTREMELY HOT WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO SHUT DOWN. THE FAN RELAY ALSO FAILED WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO OVERHEAT AND THE INTERNAL TRANSMISSION SENSORS FAILED. UPDATED 07/01/10.*JB

THE SEAT FRAME ON THE DRIVERS SIDE HAS BROKEN IN HALF. THIS SHOULD BE A PRIORITY SAFETY RECALL AS THIS DOESN'T SEEM TO BE AN ISOLATED INCIDENT. FOR THE SECOND TIME IN 5 YEARS THE DRIVERS SIDE SEAT SUPPORT HAS BROKEN. BOTH TIME THE BREAK HAS OCCURRED ON THE FRONT LEFT CORNER. THE BROKEN PART IS OF THE SUPPORT ASSEMBLY, IT IS A TUBE THAT PIVOTS TO ALLOW FOR UP/DOWN ADJUSTMENTS AND HOLDS THE WEIGHT OF THE SEAT. *TR
BLEND DOOR FAILURE IN THE HVAC SYSTEM LEADING TO INADEQUATE DEFROSTING OF FRONT WINDSHIELD IMPAIRING VISION. DEALERSHIP WAS AWARE OF THE ISSUE PRIOR TO FAILURE AS THIS IS A COMMON MALFUNCTION. REPAIR WORK WAS NOT COVERED UNDER PREMIUM WARRANTY PLAN. *TR

HE DECIDED TO HAVE THE REPAIR DONE, AT AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR FACILITY. HE IS NOW SEEKING REIMBURSEMENT. UPDATED 08/15/13
JEEP 2003 GRAND CHEROKEE HVAC UNIT. AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL UNIT. NO HEAT OR AC ON PASSENGER SIDE. FIRST TIME LAST SUMMER FOR TWO DAYS, THEN IT CAME BACK. LAST WEEK, NO HEAT ON PASSENGER SIDE. ON 12/19/09 WENT TO JEEP DEALERSHIP, CHARGED $ 99.00 FOR DIAGNOSTIC AND TOLD IS A PROBLEM WITH THE BLEND DOORS; PRICE TO FIX $ 1,400- 2,100 . SEARCHED THE INTERNET ABOUT IT AND FOUND A CHRYSLER JEEP SERVICE BULLETIN # 24-001-04 DATED JANUARY 20, 2004 CONCERNING THE SAME DOORS. IN ADDITION THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF JEEP DRIVERS COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SAME PROBLEM IN SEVERAL FORUMS. I DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY FOR 30 MINUTES, RECONNECTED AND THE HEATER WAS FINE. TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF, TURNED BACK ON TEN MINUTES LATER AND AGAIN NO HEAT ON PASSENGER SIDE. *TR
INTERMITTENT HEAT AND DEFROST IT FINALLY WENT OUT TOOK IT TO REPAIR SHOP THE PIGTAIL WAS MELTED AND HAD TO BE REPLACED BLOW MOTOR WORKS BUT THE DAMPENER DOORS WON'T OPEN TO LET HEAT OR DEFROST WORK. JEEP SAYS IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE 2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LIMITED EDITION BUT THEY WONT FIX IT BECAUSE THEY SAY IT IS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE. IF YOU CANT SEE OUT OF YOUR WINDOWS YOU CANT SEE TO DRIVE AND YOU SCRAPE THE ICE OFF THE INSIDE OF THE WINDOWS AND THEY ICE BACK UP. *TR
DRIVERS SIDE SEAT BRACKET HAS BROKEN FOR SECOND TIME DUE TO NORMAL USE. IF SEAT BRACKET BREAKS FROM NORMAL USE, HOW CAN IT STAND-UP IN AN ACCIDENT? ALSO IT IS NOT READILY APPARENT WHEN IT BREAKS, SO CRASH INTEGRITY IS ALREADY COMPROMISED. REPAIR IS $400 NEW BRACKET, OR OVER $800 FOR MY JEEP. OLD PART WILL BE RETAINED IN MY GARAGE. WHILE ON AN INTERSTATE HIGHWAY AT NORMAL SPEEDS, THE CRUISE CONTROL STUCK, CAUSING FULL THROTTLE ACCELERATION. THE ONLY WAY TO SLOW THE VEHICLE DOWN WAS TO SHIFT INTO NEUTRAL BECAUSE THE BRAKES WERE INSUFFICIENT TO CONTROL THE SPEEDING VEHICLE. THE OVER-REVVING OF THE ENGINE RESULTED IN SEVERE DAMAGE (MAIN BEARING/ROD) UNTIL IT COULD BE SHUT OFF. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN IMPOSSIBLE TO STEER IT TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WITHOUT HAVING THE ENGINE ON. I BOUGHT MY 2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE WITH 60,000 MILES ON IT IN PHOENIX IT WAS HOT AND I DID NOT CHECK THE HEATER. THE NEXT NIGHT I DROVE IT BACK TO FLAGSTAFF AND THE TEMPERATURE DROPPED TO 25 DEGREES. I WAS NOT EXPECTING TO BE IN A VEHICLE WITHOUT HEAT AND WAS VERY COLD AND COULD NOT FEEL MY FEET BY THE TIME I GOT TO MY HOUSE. I HAVE HAD FROSTBITE AND AM VERY SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE COLD. THIS FAILURE HAS OCCURRED THREE TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED, AND HE WAS ADVISED THAT THE FAILURE WAS NOT COMMON FOR HIS MODEL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 88,000.
THE HEATING/COOLING SYSTEM ON MY 2003 GRAND CHEROKEE IS AN INSULT TO THE OTHER QUALITIES OF THIS VEHICLE! THE INTERNAL DOORS THAT DIRECT AIR THROUGH THE SYSTEM IS EXTREMELY CHEAPLY MADE. MOSTLY PLASTIC-A VERY POOR GRADE! THE DEALER SAYS IT WILL COST CLOSE TO A $1000 TO REPAIR AND HE WOULDN'T GUARANTEE IT WOULD NOT HAPPEN AGAIN. I THINK CHRYSLER SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SOMETHING THIS POORLY MADE. IT IS NO WONDER THEY ARE IN TROUBLE AND THE GOVERNMENT IS GIVING THEM BILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO MAKE MORE INFERIOR JEEPS! SINCE AUGUST 18, 2008, 4 WINDOW REGULATORS ON MY JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE HAVE BROKEN. TWICE, I HAVE ALREADY PAID OVER $800 AT YOUR DEALERSHIP TO HAVE THIS FIXED. RECENTLY, BOTH OF MY REAR WINDOW REGULATORS HAVE BROKE AND I HAVE HAD TO TAPE MY WINDOWS UP SINCE I CANNOT AFFORD $800 OUT OF POCKET RIGHT NOW. THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A WELL KNOWN JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE PROBLEM. I HAVE KNOWN OF OTHERS HAVING THIS PROBLEM WITH THEIR JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE AS WELL. I HAVE ALREADY HAD NUMEROUS PROBLEMS WITH MY JEEP THAT HAVE COST ME SEVERAL THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO FIX. THE CONCLUSION WAS SUPPORTED BY THE READINGS FROM THE ONBOARD COMPUTER WHICH DISCLOSED NO CODES, INDICATING THAT THE AIR BAG WAS FULLY OPERATIONAL AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT. UPDATED 09/29/09.*JB
