THE VIN TOOL SHOWED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS STILL SUBJECTED TO THE FREE REPAIR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED WITH AN ABNORMAL RINGING SOUND IN THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BLOOMINGTON CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM 8000 PENN AVE S, BLOOMINGTON, MN 55431 FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE DIAGNOSIS WAS AN (INTERNAL AIR BAG FAILURE). THE DEALER STATED THE REMEDY WOULD ONLY BE A PARTIAL REPAIR DUE TO THE WIRING HARNESS NO LONGER BEING MANUFACTURED. THE DEALER STATED THAT A USED PART MAY REPAIR THE VEHICLE HOWEVER, THERE WERE NO GUARANTEES THAT THE AIRBAG WOULD FUNCTION AS INTENDED IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THIS FAILURE BUT PROVIDED NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 93,000.

PROBLEM: THE TIPM-7 COULD FAIL CAUSING THE ENGINE TO STALL INCREASING RISK OF A CRASH. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE BOOSTER WAS CORRODED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE RECALL REPAIR HAD NOT BEEN PERFORMED. I WAS DRIVING MY 2011 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE DOWN A CITY STREET WHEN WITH OUT ANY WARNING THE VEHICLE COMPLETELY CUT OFF. I COULD NOT CONTROL THE VEHICLE AT ALL NOT EVEN HONK THE HORN TO LET OTHER DRIVER KNOW SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY VEHICLE. VEHICLE CONSTANTLY STALLS. RECALL WAS PERFORMED FOR THE FUEL PUMP RELAY HOWEVER THIS DID NOT COMPLETELY SOLVE THE PROBLEM AS IT STILL STALLS RANDOMLY OR WON'T START AT ALL. HUGE SAFETY CONCERN HAVE BEEN ALMOST HIT ON THE ROAD FROM RANDOM STALLS. TOOK IT TO MY LOCAL MECHANICS AND THEY SAY THE FUEL PUMP RELAY IS BURNING OUT THE FUSES AND I NEED TO CONSTANTLY CHECK ON THEM TO MAKE SURE THEY'RE NOT BURNT OUT. TOOK IT TO BROOKDALE CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE AFTER RECALL WAS PERFORMED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT IT STILL STALLING YEARS AGO. BROOKDALE CHRYSLER REFUSED TO PERFORM ANY SERVICE AS THEY COULD NOT 'DUPLICATE' THE ISSUE. EVER SINCE THEN I'VE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS ISSUE AND IT'S HORRIFYING TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE SOMETIMES AND INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED AS I'M STILL PAYING OFF THIS VEHICLE. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, MY JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LTD, HAS STARTED TO STALL OUT WHEN I AM ACCELERATING FORWARD. IT WAS IN MOTION WHEN THIS HAPPENED, AND HAS SHOWN A ZIGZAG ICON, ON MY SCREEN,( WHICH I AM NOT SURE OF THE MEANING OF THAT ICON). BUT I DO KNOW IF FEELS AS THOUGH IT IS A FUEL FAILURE, PROBLEM. THIS HAS BEEN ON CITY STREETS, AND WHEN COMING OUT OF A TURN ON ACCELERATION. IT ALMOST HAS COME TO A STALL, ON ALL OCCASIONS. THIS HAS HAPPENED WITHOUT NOTICE, ON AT LEAST, HALF A DOZEN TIMES. VEHICLE HAS BEEN UNDER RECALL SINCE DECEMBER 2019 WHICH I HAVE TRIED SERVICING MANY TIMES BUT KEEP BEING TOLD NO PARTS ARE AVAILABLE. SO I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THE CAR EITHER NOT STARTING THE FIRST TIME OR EVEN AT ALL, STALLING RIGHT AFTER STARTING AND STALLING WHILE IN MOTION. MY JEEP HAS STALLED WHILE DOING 70 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY, LEAVING ME IN A PANIC TO TRY TO GET TO SIDE OF THE ROAD AS FAST AND AS SAFE AS POSSIBLE. MY JEEP HAS STALLED AT A INTERSECTION WHERE OTHER CARS HAD TO GO AROUND ME, IT HAS STALLED SEVERAL TIMES WHILE DRIVING ANYWHERE. THE BREAKING POINT FOR ME WAS THAT ON 6/11/2020 I WAS DRIVING DOWN A BUSY STREET IN THE CITY DOING 50MPH AND MY JEEP STALLED OUT AND THE ONLY THING I COULD DO WAS GET INTO THE MIDDLE TURN LANE, I HAD CALLED MY MOM THROUGH MY BLUETOOTH IN THE CAR TO LET HER KNOW I WAS STUCK AND NEEDED HELP SINCE I HAD MY TWO SMALL CHILDREN WITH ME, AS WE WHERE TALKING A CAR CAME INTO THE TURN LANE ALMOST HITTING ME HEAD ON AT 50MPH. THERE IS TEMPORARY PART AVAILABLE AT THE DEALER THAT THEY CAN PUT IN THE MEANTIME, BUT I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE DIAGNOSIS AND THE PART AND LABOR AND IF THEY AGREE, THEY MAY REIMBURSE ME FOR SOME OF IT. ON AN INTERMITTENT BASIS I HAVE EXPERIENCED PROBLEMS STARTING MY JEEP. THEN, ON DECEMBER 25, 2019, I RECEIVE THE V62 FUEL PUMP RELAY RECALL FOR MY JEEP, WHICH PROVIDES AS FOLLOWS:*DT OUR RECORDS INDICATE THAT YOUR VEHICLE [1] WAS INCLUDED IN PREVIOUS SAFETY RECALL P54 (NHTSA 14V-530) OR SAFETY RECALL R09 (NHTSA 15V-115). THE REMEDY FOR THE PREVIOUS RECALLS WAS TO REPLACE THE FUEL PUMP RELAY. IF YOU HAD EITHER OF THESE RECALLS COMPLETED, THE INSTALLED REMEDY RELAY IS SUSCEPTIBLE TO SILICON CONTAMINATION ON THE RELAY CONTACTS, WHICH CAN CAUSE THE RELAY TO FAIL. A FUEL PUMP RELAY FAILURE CAN RESULT IN A NO-START CONDITION OR AN ENGINE STALL CONDITION IF THE VEHICLE IS RUNNING. HE COASTED TO THE BREAKDOWN LANE AND RESTART THE VEHICLE. THE LIGHTNING BOLT SYMBOL WAS ON THE DASH. HE DECIDED TO RETURN HOME. A FEW MINUTES LATER THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN. WE HAVE NOT DRIVEN THE JEEP AGAIN. ON THE MORNING OF MARCH 24, 2020, WE HAD IT TOWED TO LITHIA CHRYSLER JEEP OF RENO. LITHIA DIAGNOSED IT AS HAVING A FAULTY FUEL PUMP RELAY SUBJECT TO THE SAFETY RECALL V62 FUEL PUMP RELAY. FIAT REFUSED AGAIN TO ENGAGE IN ANY DISCUSSION OF BUYBACK. FIAT HAS HAD OVER THREE MONTHS AND PRESUMABLY SEVERAL MORE MONTHS 'TO DEVELOP A SOLUTION' YET IT HAS NOT. MY JEEP SITS IN MY DRIVEWAY UNDRIVABLE, A WORTHLESS PIECE OF UNSAFE JUNK. THERE IS NO REPAIR AVAILABLE. THERE ARE NO LIKE VEHICLES AVAILABLE (THEY ALL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM). UNDER FEDERAL REGULATIONS, FCA MUST BUY-BACK MY JEEP. AND THEN ONE OTHER TIME 2 WEEKS AGO ALSO TRYING TO TURN A CORNER (IT'S ALL AT RANDOM WHEN IT HAPPENS NO WARNING ) THERE ARE NO WARNING LIGHTS ON
