I was driving on the highway.When thr check engine light and red electric bolt came on. The truck slowed down and didn’t accelerate good and traffic was flying past me and honking horn as I pulled over. I took to dealership was told it was the Accelerator pedal so replace it and reflashed system light cam back on now they saying throttle body or wiring harness is it a tsb or recall because my truck was fire
THE PASSENGER SEAT HEATER LIGHT KEEPS TURNING OFF AFTER PUSHING THE BUTTON. I CHECKED UNDER THE SEAT AND ALL WIRES SEEM FINE. TURN THE CAR BACK ON AN IT WORKS FOR A LITTLE BIT THEN DOES IT AGAIN. SOMETHING ODD IS GOING ON WITH IT BECAUSE THE AC SEAT WORKS STILL. THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS CAUSE A VERY LOUD ANNOYING HUM WHEN GOING 60 OR FASTER AN ITS VERY ANNOYING.
WHEN YOU START THE CAR IT STALLS. FUEL PUMP RELAY HAS BEEN REPLACED THREE TIMES. PROBLEM IS STILL HAPENING. CAR IS PARKED WHEN IT STALLS. LAST REPAIRED UNDER RECALL V62- FUEL PUMP RELAY
Both the front driver and front passenger headrests have deployed in the past 1 year; however, the vehicle was not involved in an accident or collision to cause such deployment. The vehicle was parked when each headrest deployed. This is clearly a defect of the vehicle. The Jeep dealership estimated the cost to repair at approximately $800 per headrest, which I will not pay, because this is not an issue caused by me. It is a vehicle defect, and needs to be recalled immediately as evidenced by the many news articles online related to this topic. It is very dangerous and could cause serious harm to someone.

WHILE DRIVING THE PASSENGER ACTIVE HEAD RESTRAINT DEPLOYED DUE TO FAILURE OF THE PLASTIC RETAINERS STRIKING MY WIFE IN THE BACK OF HER HEAD. THANKFULLY SHE WAS NOT INJURED.BUT IT STARTLED US NOT KNOWING WHAT HAPPENED UNTIL WE WERE ABLE TO PULL OVER AND CHECK. THIS CLEARLY COULD HAVE CAUSED AN INJURY OR ACCIDENT AND THESE DEFECTIVE HEADRESTS SHOULD BE RECALLED AND REPLACED IMMEDIATLY.
I DROPPED OF MY 2013 JEEP GRAND CHEROCKEE TO A MECHANIC TO INSPECT FOR AN OIL LEAK. THE OIL FILTER HOUSING WAS FOUND TO BE CRACKED WHICH WAS CAUSING THE LEAK. THE MECHANIC STATED HE HAD REPLACED MORE OF THESE HOUSING BECAUSE THEY ARE PLASTIC AND WERE MADE TO THIN SO WHEN THE OIL FILTER OR COVER IS TIGHTENED DOWN AFTER HAVING THE OIL CHANGED, THE HOUSING CRACKS. AFTER CONTACTING A DEALER ABOUT THIS ISSUE THE DEALER STATED THERE WERE APPROXIMATELY 60,000 REPORTS OF THIS ISSUE ACROSS THE COUNTRY. THE PART IS ON BACK ORDER AND WOULDN'T BE IN ANYTIME SOON. I CONTACT CHRYSLER/JEEP WARRANTY AND THERE RESPONSE WAS THEY COMPLETED AN INVESTIGATION BUT NO RECALL HAS BEEN ISSUED YET. THEY WERE WORKING ON GETTING PARTS IN A TIMELY FASHION. WHILE IN PARK, THE DRIVER HEADREST DEPLOYED INTO THE BACK OF MY HEAD. NO COLLISION TOOK PLACE, IT RANDOMLY DEPLOYED. IT WILL NOT RESET AS IT SEEMS A PLASTIC BRACKET BROKE INSIDE. NO RECALL FOR THIS ISSUE BUT WHEN RESEARCHING THE PROBLEM, IT SEEMS TO HAVE AFFECTED A LARGE GROUP OF 2011-2018 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE OWNERS.
HAD V62 RECALL DONE AT THE DEALER. NO PROBLEMS FOR 14 MONTHS OF OWNERSHIP UNTIL AFTER RECALL THE SO-CALLED FIX. NOW THE ENGINE SHUTS OFF WHEN GOING IN REVERSE. HAD 2ND DEALER DIAGNOSTICS DONE AND STILL HAVE A SHUTTING OFF ENGINE PROBLEM!

ALSO WHENEVER I'M MAKING SHARP TURNS THE JEEP FEELS LIKE IT'S LOSING POWER AND I HAVE TO PUSH DOWN ON THE BREAK AND START OVER . ALSO MY FORWARD WARNING COLLISION AND ACC OFF IS ON DASH BOARD . BRAKE SYMBOLS ALONG WITH TRACTION OFF NOW POPS UP ON THE DASH BOARD. IT'S BEEN OVER A YEAR SINCE I RECEIVED THE LETTER AND I'M CONCERNED DUE TO SAFETY ISSUES IT MAY CAUSE . RECALL V62/NHTSA 19V-813. FUEL PUMP RELAY RECALL. RESPONDED TO THE RECALL AND A NEW WIRING HARNESS WAS INSTALLED. THIS HAS NOT FIXED THE PROBLEM. WHILE STATIONARY, VEHICLE HAS FALSE STARTS ALMOST ON A DAILY BASIS. BY FALSE I MEAN CAR WILL CRANK BUT DOES NOT START. AT TIMES WHILE IN MOTION, VEHICLE WILL RUN SLUGGISH AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON. THIS IS THE SECOND REPLACEMENT HARNESS INSTALLED .
WHILE CAR WAS BEING SWEPT OUT AT CAR WASH, DRIVERS SIDE HEADREST DEPLOYED FOR NO APPARENT REASON. A PART OF THE HEADREST BROKE RELEASING IT.

HAD A RECALL V62 PERFORMED ON FEB 1, 2021. PRIOR TO THAT DATE FOR THE LAST 14 MONTHS, I HAD ZERO PROBLEMS. NOW AUTO SHUTS OFF WHEN PLACED IN GEAR AND ON ONE OCCASION STARTED REMOTELY AND THE ENGINE WOULD NOT COME ON NORMAL MODE TO DRIVE. AFTER A FEW TRIES VEHICLE STARTED AND WAS ABLE TO DRIVE.
I HAVE REQUESTED ASSISTANCE FROM 2 DEALERSHIPS AND I HAVE BEEN TOLD JEEP IS ONLY SENDING 1 PER WEEK TO DEALERSHIPS AND THE LIST TO GET IT FIXED IS VERY LONG AND THEY DO NOT KNOW WHEN I CAN GET IF FIXED. THIS IS A SAFETY RECALL AND I AM VERY WORRIED ABOUT MY JEEP.

INITIALLY BROUGHT MY JEEP INTO SHOP DUE TO JERKY MOVEMENT AT SLOWS SPEEDS WHILE TRYING TO TURN OR BACKING UP AND THEN "SERVICE 4WD" LIGHT COMING ON. WAS INFORMED THAT THE TRANSFER CASE CONTROL MODULE AND SHIFT MOTOR WERE BAD. WHEN I PICKED UP THE JEEP EVERYTHING SEEMED TO BE WORKING FINE. LESS THAN 3MONTHS LATER, AND APPROX. 5,000 MILES, "SERVICE 4WD" LIGHT CAME BACK ON AND SEEMS TO BE STUCK IN 4 LOW. HAD CAR TOWED TO SAME SHOP, IN CASE ONE OF THE PREVIOUS PARTS WENT BAD, AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE TRANSFER CASE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED NOW. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, SEVERAL UNKNOWN WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROADWAY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT A BYSTANDER PROVIDED A JUMP START TO MOVE THE VEHICLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DRIVABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE ALTERNATOR, BATTERY AND COMPUTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT CALLED SEVERAL LOCAL DEALERS AND MADE THEM AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED AS OF YET. UPON INVESTIGATION, THE CONTACT ASSOCIATED THE FAILURE WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V435000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 100,400.

RECALLS 19V-913 AND 15V-115 AROUND THE 28TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 2020, I WAS IN PUBLIC STREET ON MY WAY TO MY MOTHER'S HOME AT NIGHT IN MY VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SLOW DOWN. I BEGAN TO PUSH THE ENGINE PEDAL AND IT DIDN'T REACTED. IT WAS DIFFICULT TO PUSH THE BREAK. I WAS NEAR THE ENTRANCE OF THE COMMUNITY GATE AND, BECAUSE I WAS DRIVING SLOWLY, I WAS ABLE TO PUT THE CAR ON NEUTRO AND MANAGED TO ENTER THE COMMUNITY AND LEFT THE CAR INSIDE THE GATE COMMUNITY BECAUSE WAS NOT ABLE TO REACH MY MOTHER'S HOUSE. IT WAS VERY SCARY AND DANGEROUS SITUATION, BECAUSE I COULD HAVE BEEN HIT BY A CAR BY THE SUDDEN SLOWING OF CAR VELOCITY AND WHILE TURNING LEFT TO THE COMMUNITY GATE IN NEUTRO. CALLED CHRYSLER DEALER TO INFORM THEM THAT THE SAME STALLING SITUATION THAT OCCURRED THE SEVERAL TIMES THEY INSPECTED MY CAR FOR PREVIOUSLY, HAPPENED AGAIN. THEY TOLD ME THAT THE SOONEST APPOINTMENT THEY CAN GIVE ME IS IN THE 18TH OF JANUARY OF 2021. THE CAR IS STATIONED WAITING TO BE TOWED TO THE DEALER. THIS WOULD BE AT LEAST THE 6TH TIME THE CAR HAD THIS PROBLEM, AND THE THIRD THAT I HAVE TO TOW IT. THE FIRST TIME THE CAR WAS TOWED WAS IN APRIL OF 2018; THAT TIME THEY REPLACE THE FUEL PUMP/MODULE. IN SEPTEMBER OF 2018, THE EXTERNAL FUEL PUMP RELAY WAS REPLACED. THE CAR WAS BROUGHT TO THE DEALER AGAIN IN MARCH AND NOVEMBER OF 2019 FOR THE SAME PROBLEM BUT THEY ALLEGED NOTHING WAS FOUND. THE LAST TIME WAS IN THE 11TH OF AUGUST OF 2020, WHEN THE CAR WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER BECAUSE IT STALLED AND COULD NOT BE TURN ON; THE FUEL PUMP RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT OVERLAY HARNESS WAS REPLACED, (ACCORDING TO WORK ORDER). JUST AFTER FOUR MONTHS, THE CAR STALLED WHILE MOVING IN THE MIDDLE OF A TRANSITED PUBLIC STREET AT NIGHT. THIS HAPPENED PREVIOUSLY, BUT THE CAR MANAGE TO RECOVER QUICKLY WHILE DRIVING. SAFETY RECALL WAS ISSUED FOR THIS ON NOVEMBER 14, 2019. THERE IS STILL NO REMEDY. NOT SURE WHAT THE TIMEFRAME ON RECALLS IS, BUT I'D SAY MY SAFETY HAS BEEN AT RISK LONG ENOUGH. MY VEHICLE OFTEN SPUTTERS AND SHAKES VIOLENTLY WHILE ACCELERATING, ESPECIALLY WHEN TRYING TO ACHIEVE HIGH SPEEDS QUICKLY (WHILE ENTERING FREEWAY TRAFFIC FROM AN ON RAMP OR WHEN PASSING INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC FOR EXAMPLE). THE ISSUE RELATED TO THIS RECALL CAN CAUSE MY VEHICLE TO STALL WHICH WOULD BE SEVERELY DANGEROUS IN THESE SITUATIONS.

FCA US AND GRAMMER AG'S ACTIVE HEAD RESTRAINT IS MEANT TO SPRING FORWARD IN THE EVENT OF A REAR-END COLLISION TO CATCH A VEHICLE OCCUPANT'S HEAD TO PREVENT WHIPLASH, THE FEATURE HAS DEPLOYED WITHOUT WARNING OR EXTERNAL FORCE FROM A COLLISION, AND FORCEFULLY STRUCK THE BACK OF MY PASSENGER'S (WIFE) HEAD WHILE WE WERE IN MOTION. THE FORCE OF THE IMPACT TO THE BACK OF MY VEHICLE PASSENGER'S (WIFE) HEAD AND WITHOUT WARNING OR CAUSE WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN OPERATION. SHE WAS INITIALLY STARTLED AND WE DID NOT KNOW WHAT HAD HAPPENED. THEN WE DISCOVERED THE BROKEN HEADREST. LATER, MY WIFE EXPERIENCED A HEADACHE AND NECK DISCOMFORT OVER SEVERAL DAYS. I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL LAWSUIT DOCUMENTS ONLINE FILED BY OTHER JEEP OWNERS WHO STATE THE CAUSE OF THE DEFECT AS THE FAILURE OF A 'CHEAP PLASTIC COMPONENT' INSIDE THE DEFENDANTS' AHR. SPECIFICALLY, THE FEATURE CONTAINS A PLASTIC BRACKET THAT ACTS AS THE TRIGGERING MECHANISM AND HOLDS THE FEATURE'S SPRING-LOADED RELEASE IN PLACE UNTIL A SENSOR SIGNALS THAT THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN HIT IN ITS REAR, THE CASE EXPLAINS. AS A 'COST-SAVING MEASURE,' THE PLAINTIFFS SAY, CHRYSLER AND GRAMMER AG DESIGNED THE AHR BRACKET WITH 'AN INFERIOR AND INEXPENSIVE FORM OF PLASTIC' THAT CAN CRACK AND BREAK DOWN PREMATURELY DUE TO THE 75 POUNDS OF CONSTANT PRESSURE APPLIED BY THE AHR'S SPRINGS ONTO THE BRACKET. THREE WEEKS AGO, I TOOK A JEEP FOR A ROUTINE OIL CHANGE AND THE TECHNICIAN WROTE ON MY MULTI-POINT INSPECTION PAPERWORK 'NOTICED AN AUDIBLE TICKING'. THIS TECHNICIAN HAS TOLD ME TWICE PREVIOUSLY THAT THIS WAS NORMAL AND FAILED TO MENTION TO ME PERSONALLY WHILE IN THE DEALERSHIP. I ONLY NOTICED HE WROTE IT ON MY PAPERWORK AFTER I HAD LEFT. VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN SHOP 2 TIMES IN LAST WEEK WITH ISSUES WITH THE ETC (ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL) CAUSED BY THE FUEL PUMP. FAILURE TO START FROM A COLD AND A WARM START HAS HAPPENED 6 TIMES. FIRST REPAIR COST $553.66 AND TODAY'S REPAIR OF THE FUEL PUMP WHILE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY (SINCE THE FIRST RECALL PART FAILED) DOESN'T HELP FIX THE PROBLEM.
