JEEP LIBERTY ANTILOCK BRAKING SYSTEM INOPERATIVE. *AK
WHILE DRIVING THROTTLE STUCK, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO ACCELERATE WITHOUT WARNING. AS A RESULT, VEHICLE COLLIDED INTO TWO OTHER VEHICLES. NO REPORT OF AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT. *AK
ONGOING WHEEL ALIGNMENT PROBLEMS WITH 2002 JEEP LIBERTY. VECHICLE PULLS TO THE RIGHT, SO VEHICLE IS MISALIGNED TO PULL LEFT TO COMPENSATE FOR VECHICLE PULLING TO THE RIGHT. I HAD THE JEEP IN 3 TIMES IN A ONE YEAR PERIOD AND STILL PULLS TO THE SIDE. I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A SERIOUS ENOUGH PROBLEM TO CAUSE AN ONGOING SAFETY ISSUE AND AN ONGOING REPAIR BILL FOR ME. *AK
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 JEEP LIBERTY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE BRAKING THE VEHICLE WILL COME TO A COMPLETE STOP AND WHILE HAVING HIS FOOT ON THE BRAKE THE VEHICLE WILL SURGE FORWARD. THIS HAS OCCURRED SEVERAL TIMES SINCE HE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED AND THE DEALER STATED THAT HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS FAILURE. THE CONTACTED STATED HE HAS PREVIOUSLY REPORTED THE FAILURE TO THE DEALER. THERE HAVE BEEN NO REPAIRS TO THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS CURRENTLY BEING DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALER . THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 18000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 49000. UPDATED 4/7/2010 *CN UPDATED 06/04/10
THE FIRST INCIDENT HAPPENED BACK WHEN I FIRST GOT MY JEEP RIGHT BEFORE THE WARRANTY WAS ABOUT TO EXPIRE. IT WAS RUNNING FINE AND HAD NO INDICATION THAT ANYTHING WAS WRONG. IT WAS AROUND THE 35,000 MILE MARK. I WAS DRIVING TO WORK AND MY JEEP JUST STALLED ON ME. I PULLED OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, TRIED TO START IT AGAIN, AND NOTHING. SO I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP WHO TOLD ME TO CALL THE 800# FOR THE TOW TRUCK (WHICH TOOK 2 HOURS AT 20 DEGREES....NO HEAT...NOT GOOD). I FOUND OUT THAT WAS ACTUALLY A PISTON AND A ROCKER-ARM ALONG WITH MANY OTHER LITTLE PARTS THAT NEEDED TO BE FIXED IN THE ENGINE.......SO MAJOR ENGINE REPAIR. THE JEEP WAS IN THE SHOP FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS. AFTER IT WAS FIXED ALL WAS WELL.....UNTIL THE BREAKDOWN FROM THE RECALL....THAT IS MY NEXT COMPLAINT....STAY TUNED!!! :) *TR
ON 11/29, MY TRANSMISSION ON MY 2002 JEEP LIBERTY WAS NOT SHIFTING AFTER SECOND GEAR. TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS A "BAD PART" ON THE TRANMISSION, THAT THE PISTON RETAINER INSIDE OF THE VALVE BODY WAS BROKEN AND IT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CAR WAS PURCHASED NEW IN 2001 AND MILEAGE WAS PAST THE 36,000 BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY; HOWEVER, ANY JEEP VEHICLE PURCHASED AFTER 11/1/01 HAS THE 7 YEAR, 70,000 MILE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY. THE PART IS BAD AND OTHERS MIGHT BE EXPERIENCING THE SAME THING. I ENDED UP PAYING HALF WHEN I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO PAY ANYTHING. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN A VEHICLE THAT INITIALLY I LOVED!*AK
WHILE DRIVING THE TRANSMISSION FAILED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. *NM
THE CENTER CAP OF JEEP LIBERTY ALLOY WHEELS ALLOWS WATER TO ENTER THE SPACE BETWEEN THE WHEEL AND HUB. THE WHEEL DOES NOT ALLOW THE WATER TO ESCAPE. THIS RESULTS IN CORROSION OF THE AXLES, AXLE RETAINING NUTS, WHEELS MOUNTING STUDS AND LUG NUTS. *LA
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FAILED IN NOVEMBER 2003 AT 57,000 MILES. CLUTCHES IN THE CENTER OF THE CLUTCH PACK WERE DESTROYED WHILE THE REMAINING CLUTCHES WERE LIKE NEW. *AK

I HAVE A 2002 JEEP LIBERTY. THE BALL JOINT SEPARATED AND CAUSED ME TO CRASH INTO A CEMENT WALL ON I-77 IN WEST VIRGINIA. I PICKED UP THE CAR AFTER IT WAS REPAIRED IN WV AND BROUGHT IT HOME. I HAD TO HAVE MORE WORK DONE AFTER I GOT BACK BECAUSE IT STILL WAS NOT RIGHT. THE BALL JOINTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED AT LEAST 4 TIMES. I WAS TOLD BY ONE OF THE MECHANICS THAT THEY WERE STILL USING THE JOINTS THAT WERE CAUSING THE PROBLEM BECAUSE THEY HAD NOT FIGURED OUT HOW TO RE-DESIGN THEM. THE LAST TIME I HAD IT REPAIRED THEY (HOPEFULLY) PUT ONES ON THAT ARE A NEW DESIGN. I HAVE HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED BECAUSE IT WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE BECAUSE THE JOINT WAS SO BAD -- I CHECK IT REGULARLY! MY INSURANCE COMPANY IS PROGRESSIVE. CHRYSLER SETTLED WITH THEM AND PAID FOR ALL THE REPAIRS AFTER THE CRASH. *TR
2002 JEEP LIBERTY : MY WIFE BACKED LIBERTY OUT OF DRIVEWAY & AS SHE WAS TURNING STEERING WHEEL DRIVER SIDE FRONT WHEEL COLLAPSED CAUSING EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO LIBERTY . LIBERTY HAS BEEN AT DEALER WAITING TO BE INSPECTED BY CHRYSLER/JEEP. *AK
DRIVERS SEATBELT LATCH BROKEN. *AK
WHILE DRIVING IN CLEAR WEATHER AT 50 MPH, THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE SEPARATED FROM THE AXLE, ACCORDING TO THE INSURANCE REPRESENTATIVE. *AK. A LITTLE AFTER THE ACCIDENT HAD OCCURRED THERE WAS A RECALL ISSUED ON THE 2002 JEEP LIBERTY'S BY CHRYSLER, SO THE DEALERS WILL NOW REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE FRONT LOWER BALL JOINTS AND WITH MODIFIED ASSEMBLIES. *CB THE WHEEL ASSEMBLY AT THE BALL JOINT BROKE, WHICH CAUSED THE TIRE ASSEMBLY TO COME OFF. *CB THE VEHICLE FLIPPED OVER TWICE AND CONSEQUENTLY THE CONSUMER SUFFERED INJURIES. *JB
WHILE DRIVING AT 45 MPH RIGHT PASSENGER WHEEL FELL OFF. CONSUMER WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER TO THE SHOULDER. THE DRIVER SUFFERED NECK INJURIES, AND WAS TRANSPORTED BY AMBULANCE TO THE HOSPITAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. MECHANIC NOTICED THAT UPPER BALL JOINT WAS CORRODED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *AK CONSUMER WAS UPSET THAT CHRYSLER WOULD ONLY WAIVE THE COST OF THE PARTS SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS OUT OF WARRANTY. HIS WIFE BELIEVED THAT SINCE THE INCIDENT OCCURRED AS A RESULT OF A DEFECTIVE UPPER BALL JOINT, THEN CHRYSLER SHOULD ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY. THE GENERAL MANAGER STATED THEY SHOULD BE GLAD THAT'S THE ONLY PROBLEM THEY HAD SO FAR. *PH
WHILE DRIVING AT 35 MPH VEHICLE STALLED, CAUSING THE CONSUMER TO PULL OFF THE ROAD. CONSUMER HAD VEHICLE TOWED TO A DEALERSHIP. MECHANIC TOLD THE CONSUMER THAT TRANSMISSION FAILED. *AK
WHILE DRIVING AT 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A HEAD ON COLLISION. DURING THE AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT, THE DRIVER'S SHIRT CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE CONSUMER REPORTED TO BE A NON SMOKER. *AK *SCC *JB
I HAVE A 2002 JEEP LIBERTY AND ON OCT. 7, 2003, I HAD AN INCIDENT IN WHICH MY STEERING WHEEL AND TIRES LOCKED UP DURING A LEFT TURN CAUSING ME TO TURN IN A FULL 360 FACING THE CAR THAT WAS BEHIND ME. THIS WAS ON A TUESDAY. ON FRIDAY, OCT. 10, 2003, I WAS MAKING A RIGHT TURN INTO A GAS STATION AND MY CAR SKIDDED CAUSING ME TO LOSE BRIEF CONTROL OF MY CAR AGAIN. I WAS ABLE TO STRAIGHTEN UP THE CAR AND AVOID ANOTHER 360 AND POSSIBLE COLLISION WITH GAS PUMPS. LUCKILY, NO ONE WAS HURT AND THERE WAS NOT ANY PROPERTY DAMAGE IN EITHER SITUATION. AT THIS POINT, I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP ([XXX]) WHO TOLD ME IT WAS MY TIRES. I WENT TO GOODYEAR AND THEY SAID MY TIRES WERE FINE AND I SHOULD GO TO THE DEALERSHIP. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP BACK AND THEY TOLD ME TO BRING IT IN AND THEY WOULD CHECK IT OVER BUT THEY HAD NOT HEARD OF THIS PROBLEM BEFORE. THEY WERE UNABLE TO FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH MY CAR AND I REALLY DIDN'T FEEL LIKE I RECEIVED GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. MY REASON FOR SUBMITTING THIS NOW IS BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN ARTICLES AND MY MOTHER HEARD IT ON THE NEWS THAT THERE HAS BEEN A RECENT RECALL ON 2002 JEEP LIBERTIES THAT MIGHT EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED. I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP TONIGHT AND ASKED THEM ABOUT A RECALL AND THEY DENIED THAT THERE IS ONE. I AM ALSO UNABLE TO FIND IT ON YOUR SIGHT ALTHOUGH THE ARTICLE I READ STATED IT AS BEING RELEASED BY YOU. I HAVE BEEN LUCKY THAT IT HAS NOT HAPPENED AGAIN BUT I DO NOT FEEL AS SAFE IN MY CAR AS I DID BEFORE THE INCIDENTS. DRIVERS SEAT BELT LATCH BROKEN. THE CAR IS LESS THAN TWO YEARS OLD AND CHRYSLER/JEEP WILL NOT REPAIR IT. I FEEL THAT THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY PROBLEM. WE MUST PAY TO HAVE THIS LATCH REPLACED. WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO SEND THE BROKEN LATCH ASSEMBLY TO YOU? IF SO,WHERE DO I SEND IT? A PLASTIC PIECE BROKE OFF INSIDE THE BUCKLE. THE BUCKLE WILL NOT LATCH. *LA
HELLO, I PURCHASED THIS GREAT SUV IN SEPT 2003. SO FAR HAVE HAD TO BRING IT INTO DEALER 7 TIMES FOR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM (WIRING) REPAIRS. THEY COULD NOT GET REMOTE ENTRY TO WORK , SO THEY ORDERED A PART, THEN STILL WOULD NOT WORK SO ORDERED A NEW COMPUTER. THEN IN A FEW DAYS, THE DRIVER'S DOOR LOCK STOPPED WORKING, SO BROUGHT IT IN. THEY HAD TO ORDER ANOTHER PART, SO HAD TO COME IN 2X FOR THAT ONE TOO. THEN THE RIGHT REAR WINDOW WOULD NOT WORK, SO THEY REPLACED THE REGULATOR. NOW LIGHTS ON INDICATORWHEN THE DOOR IS OPEN IS NOT WORKING AND NEITHER IS THE AUTOLOCK FEATURE AFTER THE CAR IS DRIVING FOR A FEW MINUTES, SO HAVE TO VISIT THEM AGAIN. DEALER TOLD ME THAT WIRING HAD SOME RUST IN IT DUE EITHER TO FACTORY CARELESSNESS (WIRING HARNESS LEFT OUT IN WEATHER) OR FLOOD IN VEHICLE. THERE IS NO RECORD FROM CARFAX OF FLOOD TO THIS VEHICLE. DEALER SAID MAY NEED TO REPLACE ENTIRE WIRING HARNESS (2-3 DAYS IN SHOP) WHICH IS OK WITH ME IF IT WILL FIX PROBLEMS. HE SAID HE CAN'T DO IT UNLESS IT STARTS ACTING UP. AFRAID WHEN IT WILL START ACTING UP WILL BE WHEN WARRANTY EXPIRES. WOULD LIKE SERVICE DEALER (COURTESY CHRYSLER/JEEP OF CASSELBERY, FL) TO REPLACE WIRING HARNESS BEFORE SOMETHING ELSE HAPPENS. THEY HAVE BEEN REALLY GREAT EVERY TIME I'VE BROUGHT IT IN. I UNDERSTAND THEY CAN'T REPLACE THE WIRING HARNESS WITHOUT A SYMPTOM, BUT THERE HAVE BEEN LOTS OF SYMPTOMS AT THIS POINT. WHILE DRIVING AT 55 MPH CONSUMER WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONTAL COLLISION. UPON IMPACT, NEITHER OF THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED. *AK
WHILE BACKING OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY, THE CONSUMER HEARD A LOUD BOOMING SOUND AND THE VEHICLE LURCHED TO THE LEFT. THE CONSUMER WALKED TO THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE AND DISCOVERED THE UPPER BALL JOINT LAYING ON THE GROUND. THE WEIGHT OF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE VEHICLE WAS RESTING ON THE AFFECTED WHEEL. *AK THE CONSUMER ALSO STATED THAT THERE HAD BEEN A RECALL ISSUED FOR SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH HER JEEP AND HAS FILED COMPLAINTS TO CHRYSLER. *CB *JB
WHILE DRIVING, THE DRIVER HEARD A LOUD KING NOISE COMING FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALERSHIP AND THE MECHANIC INDICATED THE PROBLEM WAS THE REAR AXLE WHICH NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED DEPENDING ON THE DAMAGE THAT HAD BEEN DONE.*AK *JB *NM
MY WIFE WAS TURNING AROUND IN THE DRIVEWAY AND THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE LOWER BALL JOINT FELL OUT TO THE GROUND AND THE WHEEL WELL WAS RESTING ON TOP OF THE TIRE. *JB
THIS VEHICLE HAS A RECURRING BRAKING CONDITION. THE FRONT BRAKES LOCK-UP WHEN NORMAL TO MODERATE BRAKE PRESSURE IS APPLIED WHILE DRIVING ON WET PAVEMENT. THE RESULT IS THAT IT SENDS THE VEHICLE INTO A SLIDE. THE LOCK-UP IS MORE LIKELY TO HAPPEN ON ASPHALT THAN CONCRETE, AND HAS NOT BEEN NOTED, YET, ON DRY SURFACES. THE VEHICLE'S BRAKE SYSTEM HAS BEEN TESTED BY THE SELLING DEALERSHIP AND REPORTED TO BE WORKING CORRECTLY AND SAFE. AFTER THIS LATEST INCIDENT, I TOOK THE JEEP TO AN EMPTY PARKING LOT WHERE I WOULD NOT HIT ANYTHING. I CHECKED IT AT SEVERAL DIFFERENT SPEEDS, AND AT JUST 15 MPH AND WITH NORMAL TO MODERATE BRAKE PRESSURES, THE BRAKES WOULD LOCKUP; RENDERING NO CONTROL UNTIL THE BRAKE WAS RELEASED. WHEN I RELEASED THE BRAKE, THE JEEP WOULD IMMEDIATELY CONTINUE IN THE DIRECTION THE WHEELS WERE POINTED. I AM 60, DRIVEN ALL TYPES OF VEHICLES AND IN MANY DIFFERENT LOCATION OVER THE WORLD, AND TO DATE, HAVE NEVER SEEN A VEHICLE RESPOND THIS WAY. THERE IS DEFINITELY SOMETHING WRONG AND I FEEL THAT AN EXAMINATION, MORE IN DEPTH THAN THE DEALERSHIP CAN PERFORM, IS NEEDED TO ISOLATE THE CAUSE. I AM FEARFUL FOR MY WIFE AND GRANDCHILDREN SAFETY, AND BESIDES REPORTING THE CONDITION, WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF NHTSA HAS A FACILITY IN THIS AREA THAT COULD CONDUCT ADDITIONAL TESTING OF THIS NATURE. AND IF SO, WHAT WOULD BE THE COST? *PH
FUEL VAPOR HOSES SPLIT IN TWO ON MY 2002 JEEP LIBERTY. DEALER REPLACED THE HOSES "DOING ME A FAVOR BY PUTTING IT UNDER WARRANTY." *LA
AS WITH MANY OTHERS ON THIS SITE, I HAVE BEEN HAVING DRIVE LINE VIBRATIONS AT AROUND 45-55 MPH; ALSO, PULLING TO THE RIGHT (AFTER 3 ALIGNMENTS!) WHICH CAUSE TIRES TO WEAR PREMATURELY. JEEP REALLY SHOULD FIX THIS STUFF FOR ALL OF US! *LA
THE ANTI-GLARE COATING ON THE DASHBOARD IS PEELING OFF AND DRAMATICALLY INCREASING THE GLARE TO THE DRIVER. *LA
2002 JEEP LIBERTY DEFECTIVE FRONT BRAKES, HEAVY PULSATION COMING FROM BRAKE PEDAL LOSS OF CONTROL OF THER CAR. DEALER REPAIRS WITH KNOWN DEFECTIVE FACTORY PARTS.*AK
THE AIR CONDITION (A/C) HOSE BROKE AND SQUIRTED OIL ON THE SERPENTINE BELT, CAUSING IT TO DETERIORATE AND BREAK. THE HOSE APPEARED TO BE CUT, WHICH LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THAT A STRAND OF THE BELT HAD BROKEN AND, BY CONSTANTLY WHIPPING THE HOSE, WHICH IS MUCH TOO CLOSE TO THE BELT, EVENTUALLY WORE THROUGH THE HOSE. I LOST BOTH POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREEWAY AT 60MPH. *LA
SPEED SENSOR WIRE AT REAR DIFFERENTIAL WAS CHAFED DUE TO CLOSE PROXIMITY TO BRAKE LINE TO LEFT REAR WHEEL. THE BRAEK LINE CONTACTS AT THE BASE OF THE CONENCTOR WHERE NOT PLASTIC ARMOR PROTECTS THE WIRE. *AK CONDUCTORS ARE EXPOSED AND GROUND ON THE THE BRAKE LINE, CAUSING SPEEDOMETER TO GIVE ERRATIC OR NO READINGS. MOST EVIDENT WITH PASSENGERS OR A LOAD IN THE REAR, CAOUSING THE WIRE TO CONTACT THE BRAKE LINE. ERRACTICE SPEED DATA ALSO EFFECTS AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFTING, CAUSING SHARP AND ABBRUPT SHIFTS TO LOWER GEARS AT SPEED.
INTERMITTENTLY AN ONGOING PROBLEM WHEN APPLYING BRAKES. PEDAL WOULD GO TO THE FLOOR, CAUSES PULSATION AND EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE. DEALER NOTIFIED. *AK
VEHICLE PULLS TO THE RIGHT. HAS BEEN TAKEN IN FOR REPAIR REPEATEDLY. ALL DEALERSHIP DOES IS REALIGN BUT DOES NOT LOOK INTO WHY THIS KEEPS HAPPENING. *LA

WE HAVE A 2002 JEEP LIBERTY RENEGADE WITH P235/70R16 GOODYEAR WRANGLER SRA TIRES. THE VEHICLE HAS 12,000 MILES ON IT AS WELL AS THE TIRES. AIR PRESSURE IN THE TIRES WERE KEPT AT MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS. THE VEHICLE DID NOT HIT ANYTHING IN THE ROAD. THE PASSENGER FRONT AND REAR TIRES BURST LEAVING APPROXIMATELY 2 INCH TEARS IN THE SIDEWALL. THE VEHICLE WAS TRAVELLING ABOUT 30 MILES PER HOUR. *AK

WE WERE TRAVELING AT 30 MPH AND VEHICLE THAT HIT US WAS GOING 35-40. IT RAN A RED LIGHT AND WE T-BONED THE OTHE RVEHICLE, SMASHING THE FRONT OF MY 2002 JEEP LIBERTY. NO AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. WE WERE BOTH TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL ,AND SUFFERED SUBSTANTIAL INJURIES, INCLUDING HAIRLINE FRACTURES TO THE COLLARBONE AND RIB/BONE CHIP AND HEMATOMA TO THE SHIN/ NECK AND BACK PAIN/BUMPS AND BRUISES. I JUST SENT CHRYSLER A LETTER WITH PICTURES OF THE CAR AND POLICE REPORT, ASKING THEM TO COMPENSATE US FOR THEIR FAULTY EQUIPMENT. *AK
THE LEFT BALL JOINT ON MY 2002 JEEP LIBERTY FAILED WHILE I WAS TRAVELING IN CANADA. REPAIRS WERE DELAYED BECAUSE, ACCORDING TO THE DEALER, CHRYSLER-DAIMLER "ENGINEERING" CANCELED THE ORDER FOR REPLACEMENT PARTS BECAUSE THERE HAD BEEN A RASH OF BALL JOINT FAILURES ON THE JEEP LIBERTY (AND ENGINEERING WANTED TO DETERMINE THE UNDERLYING CAUSE BEFORE CONTINUING TO USE EXISTING PARTS). CONCERNED THAT WE MAY EXPERIENCE ADDITIONAL BALL JOINT FAILURES, I WROTE DAIMLER-CHRYSLER TO INQUIRE REGARDING MY EXPERIENCES AND THE FREQUENCY OF BALL JOINT FAILURES ON THE JEEP LIBERTY. DAIMLER-CHRYSLER HAS REFUSED TO PROVIDE THE REQUESTED INFORMATION, CLAIMING THAT THE DATA IS EITHER UNAVAILABLE OR CONSIDERED PROPRIETARY. THEY SUGGESTED I GO TO MY LOCAL LIBRARY! REAR BRAKE AXLE SEALS HAVE FAILED 3 TIMES WHICH SOAKED THE BRAKE PADS EACH TIME. DEALER REPLACED SEALS AND PADS. NOW THE VEHICLE IS SHAKING AND PULSATING ESPECIALLY IN THE STEERING WHEEL WHEN BRAKING FROM 60-40 MPH. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT THE TRANSMISSION FAILED AND WAS REPLACED AT 25,000 MI.*AK
FRONT BRAKES MAKING A SCRAPING NOISE, ROTORS VERY HOT, FRONT PADS SQUEAKING CONSTANTLY WITH OUT FOOT ON BRAKE PEDAL, STICKING FRONT CALIPERS HANGING UP, ROTORS HAD HOT SPOTS VISIBLE, GRINDING NOISE FROM REAR, BROKEN SPRING FROM REAR SHOE AT 11,068 MILES. I HAVE HAD MY JEEP AT THE DEALERS 3 TIMES REGARDING AN INSANELY LOUD "FEEDBACK" THAT COMES FROM MY STEREO AND SPEAKERS WITH NO WARNING. THE RADIO HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE AND IT STILL HAPPENS. THE DEALERSHIP SEEMS DUMBFOUNDED. IT WILL HAPPEN WITH NO WARNING AND IS INCREDIBLY STARTLING. IT ABOUT CAUSED ME TO WRECK THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED. IT IS SPARATIC BUT ONCE IT HAPPENS IT WILL CONTINUE TO HAPPEN FFOR AN UNDETERMINED AMOUNT OF TIME AFTER THAT. ONCE THE RADIO IS TURNED OFF, YOU MAY THEN COME BACK AN HOUR LATER AN IT MAY BE FINE FOR A FEW DAYS, BUT THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN IT HAPPENS AGAIN. MAY BE A GROUND ELECTRICAL PROBLEM BUT DEALERSHIP CAN'T FIND IT! STILL HAPPENING...SOMEONE HELP!!!!! ALSO CORROSION ON MY WHEELS. ONLY HAS 20K MILES.
