MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING WHEN HER BACK WINDOW FELL DOWN AND SCARED HER. SHE IS 16 YEARS OLD AND NOT VERY COMFORTABLE WITH DRIVING ANYWAY. SHE WAS ABLE TO PULL TO SIDE OF THE ROAD. SINCE THIS TIME ANOTHER WINDOW HAS FELL DOWN. WE JUST PURCHASED THIS CAR FOR HER AND AM REGRETTING IT NOW. I HAVE READ SO MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THESE WINDOWS AND THERE HAS BEEN NO RECALL. I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND I DON'T REALLY REMEMBER THE MOMENT BEFORE THE ACCIDENT BUT I LOST CONTROL OF MY CAR AND HIT THE MEDIAN BARRICADE HEAD ON AND FROM THERE MY CAR KEPT GOING ACROSS THE HIGHWAY OFF TO THE GRASS AREA. I WAS THE ONLY ONE INJURED AND TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL. MY CAR IS RUINED AND I FACED A BROKEN NOSE, BACK, KNEE, KNOCK, HEAD, AND SHOULDER BRUSHING AND PAIN, AND NOW I KEEP HAVING A SHORT TERM MEMORY ON SOME OCCASIONS. I ALSO GET NAUSEATED WHEN K GET IN A VEHICLE AND GET TERRIFIED WHEN I'M WITH SOMEONE DRIVING DOWN THE STREET. I HAVE NO VEHICLE AT THE TIME, IT'S BEEN ALMOST TWO AND A HALF MONTHS AND I HAVEN'T HAD ANY HELP WITH ANYTHING. I AM A FULL TIME COLLEGE STUDENT WORKING A PART TIME JOB, MY SISTER OR BOYFRIEND HAVE TO TAKE ME TO WORK AND SCHOOL, IT'S GETTING PRETTY TIRING FOR THEM TO TAKE ME EVERYWHERE. I WORK ABOUT 15 MINUTES AWAY FROM MY HOME AND IT'S DIFFICULT FOR THEM TO TAKE ME WHEN THEY HAVE SCHOOL AND WORK ON THOSE DAYS. THE AIR BAGS IN MY JEEP DID NOT DEPLOY, IT WENT IN FOR THE RECALL AND YOU CAN LITERALLY SEE THE SENSORS, THE CLEARLY SHOULD HAVE DEPLOYED. MY JEEP HAD NO ENGINE OR AIR BAG CODES OF ANY KIND.. SO WHY DIDN'T THEY GO OFF?! I'M TERRIER THAT IM GOING TO LOOSE MY JOB AND NOT AFFORD TO PAY RENT OR BILLS. *TR

#1 DRIVER, #2 PASSENGER AND #3 PERSON DRIVING VEHICLE THAT HIT US. FEB 10TH, 2015 #1 WAS HIT BY #3, AIR BAG ON DRIVER SIDE DEPLOYED CAUSING A 6-8 INCH CUT ON THE RIGHT BREAST, #1 HAD STITCHES. #2 PASSENGER AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY, BUT PASSENGER HAS A HEMATOMA ON IS LEFT EYE WHICH IS EFFECTING HIS SIGHT IN THAT EYE.

I RECEIVED TWO RECALL NOTICES FROM JEEP IN THE FALL OF 2014 FOR THE DEFECTIVE DESIGN FOR THE GAS TANK LOCATION ON MY JEEP LIBERTY. I SPOKE TO THE LOCAL DEALER LAST FALL AFTER GETTING THE SECOND NOTICE. I KNEW IT WAS A WASTE OF TIME TO CONTACT THEM AFTER ONLY THE FIRST MAILED NOTIFICATION, SINCE I KNEW THERE WOULDN'T BE PARTS AVAILABLE. I SPOKE TO THE DEALER ON A VISIT IN THE FALL AFTER THE SECOND MAILED NOTIFICATION AND THE LOCAL DEALER TOLD ME THE PARTS WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR QUITE SOME TIME. I LEFT THEM MY NAME AND ASKED THEM TO CONTACT ME IF THE PARTS WERE AVAILABEL. IN JANUARY OF 2015, I CONTACTED THE LOCAL DEALER AGAIN AND THEY CHUCKLED AND TOLD ME THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE BUT THEY COULD PUT ME ON THE GROWING LIST THEY KEPT AT THE DEALERSHIP. SO I HAD NOT EVEN MADE IT ONTO THE LOCAL DEALER WAITING LIST YET! TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, I GOT A CALL A WEEK LATER FROM A CHRYSLER WARRANTY CUSTOMER CENTER. I CALLED BACK AFTER THE SECOND CALL AND TOLD THEM THAT THE DEALER HAD LAUGHED AT ME JUST TWO WEEKS BEFORE WHEN I HAD ASKED IF THE PARTS WERE AVAILABLE. IN ADDITION TO THE DEFECTIVE GAS TANK LOCATION, MY JEEP ALSO HAS THE AIR BAGS THAT CAN INADVERTENTLY INFLATE (SUPPOSEDLY WITH A FEW SECONDS OF WARNING IF YOU HAPPEN TO BE LOOKING AT THE DASHBOARD AND NOTICE A WARNING LIGHT). I GOT THAT RECALL FIXED (A VERY LOW COST JUMPER) LAST FALL. I UNDERSTAND THAT NOW MY JEEP MAY ALSO HAVE A DEFECTIVE TRW AIRBAG INFLATOR. I SUSPECT THIS WAS THE ISSUE ALL ALONG BUT CHRYSLER TOOK THE CHEAPEST POSSIBLE ROUTE (A JUMPER). LASTLY, I HAVE SUBMITTED A FORMAL COMPLAINT ON THE NHTSA WEB SITE CONCERNING MY HEADLIGHTS GOING OFF BY THEMSELVES WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT. THEY HAVE DONE THIS MULTIPLE TIMES AND NORMALLY COME BACK ON WITHIN 5 SECONDS.
