RECALL 15V-673 DEALER STILL UNABLE TO REPAIR RECALL - STATES NO PARTS AVAILABLE FROM CHRYSLER
JEEP WAS IDLING IN PARK OFF THE ROAD IN OUR PASTURE. PASSENGER AIR BAG DEPLOYED AN ABOUT 1-2 SECONDS LATER DRIVERS AIR BAG DEPLOYED STRIKING ME.

HI,I REALLY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE EASTCHESTER CHRYSLER JEEP DOGE DEALER IN THE BRONX NY 10466, I TOOK FEW TIMES TO TRY TO FIXED THE RECALL ( RO6 ) TO THE ABOVE DEALER BUT UNFORTUNATELY THEY NEVER HAD THE PIECE.I MADE AN APPOINTMENT WE THEM TO RESERVE THE PART BUT THEY NOT AVAILABLE TO FIXED.

MY COMPLAINT IS THAT OF THE AIR BAGS IN THIS VEHICLE. ON SATURDAY OCTOBER 15, 2016 I WAS REAR ENDED BY ANOTHER VEHICLE AND FORCED INTO A TELEPHONE POLE STOPPING ME IN MY TRACKS. THROUGH THE REAR IMPACT WITH THE VEHICLE STRIKING ME AND THE FRONT COLISION WITH THE TELEPHONE POLE THE AIR BAG SYSTEM IN THE VEHICLE DID NOT DEPLOY.
TAKATA RECALL I AM STEADILY BURNING THROUGH FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLIES WHERE IT GOES INTO THE TRANSFER CASE. THE BEARING HEAD KEEPS FAILING BY THROWING THE BEARINGS THROUGH THE ASSEMBLY, I HAVE OWED THE VEHICLE FOR 2 YEARS AND HAVE REPLACED IT TWICE WITH THE SAME PARTS FAILING. THE PART SEEMS TO JUST GO WITH NO WARNING AND WHEN THE ASSEMBLY COMES APART IT WOULD LEAVE THE FRONT SHAFT SPINNING SINCE THE JEEP HAS FULL TIME LOCKED HUBS WHICH COULD CAUSE IT TO GO THROUGH THE FLOORBOARD OR SEND BULLET TYPE PROJECTILES THROUGH THE ASSEMBLY METAL WHICH COULD DAMAGE OTHER COMPONENTS
VEHICLE HAS APPROXIMATELY 69,500 MILES - WHILE IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET DURING THE EVENING, THE REAR PASSENGER WINDOW FELL INTO THE DOOR FRAME. RESEARCH INDICATES JEEP LIBERTY HAS DEFECTIVE WINDOW REGULATORS WHICH CAUSES SAME TO HAPPEN AND NO RECALL HAS BEEN ISSUED BY CHRYSLER.

THE UPPER AND LOWER BALL JOINTS ARE MAKING NOISES AND SEPARATING AND YOU'VE HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH A FEW 2003 JEEP LIBERTY'S
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 JEEP LIBERTY. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE DEFLATED AND CAUSED THE LOWER BALL JOINT TO SNAP IN HALF. AS A RESULT, THE CONTROL ARM FELL AND CUT INTO THE WHEEL RIM, WHICH MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE OTHER WHEELS TO TURN OR MOVE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THAT THE VEHICLE BE TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS CRASH RELATED AND NOT A RECALL ISSUE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. WE CANNOT GET ANY COOPERATION GETTING THESE RECALLS CORRECTED!
I BROUGHT OUR JEEP TO THE BROOKDALE CHRYSLER JEEP FOR A OCCUPANT RESTRAIN MODULE RECALL. UPON PICKING UP THE VEHICLE WE NOTICED THE SEAT BELT LIGHT ON, SO I INFORMED THE SERVICE MANAGER. THEY WHERE NONCHALANT ABOUT IT . THEY SUGGESTED MY WIFE HAD SOMETHING ON THE SEAT WHICH SHE DID NOT. THE SOLUNTION WAS FOR ME TO PAY TO HAVE IT TAKEN OUT AND ANOTHER INSTALLED. WE ASKED ABOUT A LOANER VEHICLE AND HE STATED WE HAD TO RENT ONESPITE GOVERNMENT REQUESTS THAT THEY PROVIDE RECALL CUSTOMERS WITH A FREE LOANER. I NOW HAVE A AIR BAG LIGHT ON WHICH WAS NOT THERE BEFORE THEY INSTALLED THE OCUUPANT RESTRAINT MODULE. THIS IS A DIRECTLY RELATED PART AND BROOKDALE CHRYSLER IS LEAVING US HANGING. NO LOANERS CAR SIGNS ANY WHERE IN SIGHT (VIOLATION)
AFTER TAKING MY VEHICLE FOR RECALL ON MODULE ISSUE I START TO NOTICE PROBLEM WITH MY CAR EVERY TIME I STOP THE CAR SHUT DOWN OR BRAKE THE CAR STOP ENGINE LIGHT CAME UP TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP CROWLEY CHRYSLER IN BRISTOL CT I WAS CHARGE FOR DIAGNOSTIC INFORM THE CAR NEEDED SPEED SENSOR ON REAR DIFFERENTIAL IT WAS REPLACED AND ONE HOUR LATER THE CAR TURN OOF WHEN THE BRAKES WAS APPLIED I CALL SERVICE FOR THE ISSUE TO GET RESOLVED I EAS TOLD IF I BRING MY CAR IN I WOULD GET CHARGED AGAIN ALSO SERVICE SUPERVISOR DIDN'T WANT TO COMMUNICATE WITH ME ANOUT THE ISSUE I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY ALMOST CRASH WITH TWO KIDS IN MY VEHICLE

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE THE SPEED SENSOR WAS REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE DIFFERENTIAL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TOOK PICTURES OF THE DIFFERENTIAL AND THE CONTACT TOOK THE PART BACK TO THE DEALER. THE CONTACT WAS WAITING FOR A RESPONSE FROM THE MANUFACTURER TO DETERMINE A REPAIR SOLUTION. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

BOTH AIRBAGS ON 2003 JEEP LIBERTY DEPLOYED FOR NO REASON. THERE WAS NO ACCIDENT. I WAS PULLING OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY. THERE WERE NO PASSENGERS IN THE VEHICLE, ONLY THE DRIVER. JEEP HAS DENIED RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS CLAIM INDICATING THAT THERE WAS AMPLE TIME TO HAVE THE RECALL REPAIRED. HOWEVER, I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY RECALL NOTICES. JEEP HAD AND CONTINUES TO HAVE THE WRONG ADDRESS ON FILE. MY ADDRESS UPON MOVING IS PROMPTLY CHANGED, YET JEEP CONTINUES TO HAVE THE WRONG ADDRESS ON FILE.

AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AFTER MAKING 2 IMPACTS, TOTALING VEHICLE DEAR CHRYSLER/JEEP MY NAME IS [XXX] AND I HAVE BEEN THE PROUD OWNER OF A 2003 JEEP LIBERTY RENEGADE. ON JUNE 3, 2016 I WAS STRUCK BY ANOTHER MOTORIST ON MY HOME FROM WORK. I COMMUTE EVERY DAY FROM THE SOUTHWEST SUBURBS OF CHICAGO TO DOWNTOWN CHICAGO. I HAVE TAKEN THE UTMOST PRIDE IN MY JEEP, PROVIDING REGULAR MAINTENANCE. IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS I HAVE SPENT OVER $1500 IN REPLACEMENTS. I RECENTLY PURCHASED 4 BRAND NEW TIRES, A NEW ALTERNATOR, A NEW MUFFLER, OIL PRESSURE SWITCH AND AN EVAP SENSOR. I HAVE ALSO MADE PURCHASES TO CUSTOMIZE MY JEEP, BY ADDING NEON LIGHTS IN THE INSIDE, SEAT COVERS, AND A NEW STEREO SYSTEM. ASIDES FROM ALL THE LOVE AND ATTENTION I PUT INTO MY JEEP, THERE WAS SOMETHING ABOUT MY ACCIDENT THAT SCARED ME THE MOST. AFTER THE OTHER VEHICLE STRUCK ME, MY JEEP KEPT ON ROLLING, HOPPING A CURB, NARROWLY MISSING A TREE AND HOPPING ANOTHER CURB AND TOTALING MY JEEP. I SUFFERED A LEFT KNEE CONTUSION IN THE END. THE REAL HORROR IS THAT MY AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. FOR MY VEHICLE TO MAKE 2 LARGE IMPACTS AND NO AIR BAGS HAS LEFT ME WITH A COMPLETE DISTRUST IN THE BRAND. IF MY LIFE WAS AT A HIGHER RISK OR IF I HAD STRUCK THAT TREE OR ANY OTHER VEHICLE ON THE ROAD, IT'S SAD TO THINK THAT THE ONE SAFETY FEATURE THAT COULD HAVE SAVED MY LIFE, TOOK NO ACTION. YES, A PRODUCT LIABILITY LAWSUIT IS POSSIBLE BECAUSE OF THIS, BUT I WANT TO ENSURE 100% THAT THEY?RE MAY BE THOUSANDS OUT THERE THAT PUT THEIR TRUST IN THEIR JEEP, NOT KNOWING THAT IT COULD POSSIBLY BE A FATAL MISTAKE. I TOOK MY VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP TO HAVE THE ORC MODULE REPLACED AS PART OF RECALL CAMPAING R06. THE SERVICE WRITER INFORMED ME THAT AFTER R/R OF ORC, THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE FRONT IMPACT SENSORS, WHICH WAS NOT PART OF THE RECALL, AND AFTERWARDS THEY COULD NOT COMMUNICATE WITH THE ORC AND IT WOULD COST ME $100.00 OR SO TO HAVE ISSUE DIAGNOSED. I COULDN'T AFFORD IT AND NOW HAVE NO AIR BAGS. ALSO AFTER LEAVING THE DEALERSHIP I NOTICED THE PASS. SEATBELT IS IN A CONSTANT LOCKED POSITION WHILE THE DRIVERS SIDE SEAT BELT NEVER LOCKS EVEN WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED. FCA SAID I WLD NEED TO PAY FOR THE DIAGNOSIS & IF FOUND TO BE RELATED TO THE ORC RECALL FCA WOULD REIMBURSE ME BUT I CAN'T AFFORD THE DIAGNOSIS FEE. SO NOW I HAVE TO DRIVE A VEHICLE WITH NO AIR BAGS AND NO SEAT BELTS. HOW CAN THIS BE CONSIDERED A REMEDY TO A RECALL SITUATION? FCA STATED THAT IT DID SOUND LIKE IT WOULD BE RELATED TO THE ORC RECALL. IF THAT IS THE CASE WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE DIAGNOSIS? IT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE TO ME THAT FCA TRULY CARES ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT CAN BE DONE TO GET THIS RECTIFIED WITHOUT COST TO THE CUSTOMER? THIS HAPPENED IN MAY OF 2016 & I DIDN'T KNOW I COULD REPORT THE INCIDENT TO ANYONE OR SHOULD EVEN QUESTION IT UNTIL I SPOKE WITH A NEIGHBOR WHO USED TO WORK FOR A DEALERSHIP WHO ADVISED ME TO LOOK INTO THE ISSUE FURTHER AS HE SAID IT DIDN'T SOUND RIGHT TO HIM.
. I HAVE A 2003 JEEP LIBERTY RENEGADE WHICH I'VE HAD SINCE 2004. SINCE THAT TIME, I'VE HAD THE REAR WINDOW REPAIRED AT LEAST 6 TIMES FOR THE SAME ISSUE. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE WINDOW WILL FAIL ' WEATHER YOU USE IT OR NOT ' EVENTUALLY AND FALL INTO THE DOOR FRAME. I'VE HAD THIS HAPPEN WHEN PARKED, WHEN USING THE WINDOW OR JUST DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. IT HAPPENED A FEW DAYS AGO AGAIN BECAUSE MY WIFE ROLLED THE REAR WINDOW DOWN BY ACCIDENT (I HAVEN'T USED EITHER REAR WINDOW SINCE THE LAST REPAIR DONE A FEW YEARS AGO!).
WHILE DRIVING WITH THE LIGHTS ON THEY FLICKER ON & OFF AND THERE IS A LOUD CLICKING NOISE FROM THE STEERING COLUMN. IT HAS HAPPENED QUITE OFTEN WHILE DRIVING THROUGH TOWN AND ON THE INTERSTATE. THIS IS A SAFETY RISK, ESPECIALLY IF OTHER DRIVERS THINK THAT YOU ARE FLASHING YOUR LIGHTS AT THEM.
AIRBAG LIGHT WILL NOT RESET. CAR HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT NOR HAS HAD THE AIRBAG DEPLOY.

BACK PASSENGER WINDOW PUMP WENT OUT AROUND 80,000 MILES- WAS NOT REPLACED BECAUSE THE PRICE TO FIX WAS QUOTED FOR AT LEAST $600; BACK DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOW PUMP WENT OUT AT 105,000 MILES - PRICES HAVE SEEMED TO COME DOWN FOR REPAIRS AND AM LOOKING TO GET IT REPLACED BUT IT SEEMS SOON TO HAVE TO REPLACE THIS
I JUST RECEIVED A CALL FROM JEEP THAT AN OUTSTANDING RECALL IS STILL ON MY VEHICLE AND LOOKING BACK SOME MONTHS AGO, I BROUGHT MY CAR INTO A DEALER TO HAVE ALL OF THE RECALLS FIXED AND THEY SAID THEY NEED TO ORDER A PART FOR ONE OF THE RECALLS. I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK STATING THAT THE PART WAS READY TO BE INSTALLED. HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THIS CURRENT CALL FROM JEEP I WOULD HAVE FORGOTTEN ALL ABOUT IT. I JUST DON'T HAVE TIME TO KEEP BRINGING THIS CAR IN AND WAITING FOR PARTS TO BE INSTALLED ON IT.

I HAD TAKEN MY CAR INTO A JEEP DEALERSHIP IN JULY OF 2015 TO GET A RECALL FOR THE AIRBAGS FIXED. THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE THE PARTS NECESSARY TO FIX IT BUT THAT THEY WOULD CONTACT ME WHEN THE PARTS BECAME AVAILABLE. FIRST OF ALL I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM, I STILL HAVEN'T EVEN TO THIS DAY BUT I DID RECEIVE AN OFFICIAL NOTICE FOR THE RECALL IN THE MAIL. ON APRIL 3, 2016 I WAS INVOLVED IN A HEAD ON COLLISION WHICH ENDED WITH ME IN THE HOSPITAL WITH SEVERE TRAUMA TO MY SPINE AND MY CAR TOTALED. IN THIS ACCIDENT MY AIRBAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY EVEN THOUGH SEVERAL SENSORS WERE HIT IN THIS ACCIDENT. I'M VERY LUCKY THAT I AM STILL ACTUALLY ALIVE BUT I AM EXTREMELY DISTRAUGHT OVER THE FACT THAT I COULD HAVE AVOIDED INJURIES IF MY AIRBAGS HAD DEPLOYED. SOMEONE NEEDS TO MAKE THIS RIGHT.
