My vehicle has suddenly shown warning lights for brake light out, head light out, both turn signals out, running lights out. Basically saying all my lights suddenly burnt out. There is a recall on 2017 Jeep renegades for the exact problem I’m having but it doesn’t show my vehicle included, it says no unrepaired recalls. They have determined this can cause an accident as the lights are not really out, and so the driver has no idea when the lights actually do go out. This is dangerous
it start to slow down then speed up
Oil pan is so rusted that it leaks.After doing an oil change the oil pan was seen to be leaking.I would think an oil pan should not be so rusted that big flakes of rust would be falling off.The whole pan is coated in rust. I have a 2008 Patriot that has less rust then the 2017. This does not make sense.My Jeep dealer said he has seen this and is more common then you would think.Is it just a case that Jeep is now making cheaper products?
It stalls out of no where, if I am pushing on gas to go it just stalls and then when its really hot outside it doesn't even want to start.
ITS RUNNING REAL ROUGH AND HAS BEEN STALLING OUT. ALSO MY OIL CHANGE LIGHT HAS BEEN COMING ON MORE THAN ITS SHOULD BE. ALSO THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON ALL THE TIME NOW. I HAD THE IGNITION STARTER SENSOR REPLACED AS WELL. 3 WEEKS AGO N NOW EVERYTHING IS GOING WRONG WITH IT ONCE AGAIN.
WHILE DRIVING, MY ENGINE STALLED AND WOULD NOT RESTART. I WAS ABLE TO PULL OFF THE ROAD AND AFTER SOME TIME THE VEHICLE RELUCTANTLY RESTARTED. THIS HAPPENED TWICE WITHIN 4 DAYS. BOTH TIMES I WAS DESCENDING AND DECELERATING ON A STREET GOING LESS THAN 10 MPH. THE STALL OCCURRED AFTER APPLYING BRAKE AND DID NOT RESPOND TO GAS PEDAL INPUT. RPMS READ ZERO, ALL ELECTRICAL AND POWER STEERING STILL WORKING.
THE CAR DECIDES WHEN IT WANTS TO START AND START. THE CAR WILL SHUT OFF AND LOCK UP WHILE DRIVING AND HAS PUT ME IN MULTIPLE DANGEROUS SITUATIONS. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TURNS ON WITH THE AIRBAG LIGHT WHEN IT WILL NOT START. WHEN IT FINALLY DECIDES TO START THERE IS NO CEL ON. ALSO, THE BOTTOM FOG LIGHT WENT OUT DUE TO FAULTY DESIGN AND GASKETING.
TRANSMISSION SEEMS LIKE ITS SLIPPING WHEN DRIVING. CAR JERKS FORWARD.. LURGING FORWARD.. I HAD A CAR THAT HAD TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS SO IM AWARE OF HOW CAR ACTS WHEN ITS TRANSMISSION PROBLEM. ALSO ELECTRICAL PROBLEM. CAR SOUND WHEN MUSIC IS PLAYING JUMPS FROM ALL SPEAKERS SOUND COMING OUT TO JUST ONE SPEAKER THE PASSENGER SIDE SPEAKER IN FRONT..
THREE TIMES NOW THE VEHICLE HAS SIMPLY DIED WHILE BEING DRIVEN. NO WARNING LIGHTS OR SENSORS; JUST STOPPED RUNNING. ALL THREE TIMES THE VEHICLE HAD JUST BEEN STARTED, IDLED FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES, AND THEN DIED WITHIN THREE MINUTES OF BEING PUT IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET WHILE DRIVING STRAIGHT AHEAD AT SPEEDS BETWEEN 15-30 MPH.
WHILE DRIVING I COULD HEAR THE VEHICLE RUNNING VERY LOUD AND THEN IT WOULD GET QUIET. THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. THEN WHEN I EXITED THE VEHICLE I FELT THE HOOD WHICH WAS VERY HOT AND WHILE DRIVING I WAS WATCHING THE COOLANT LEVEL WHICH WOULD FLUCTUATE VERY HIGH AND THEN GO LOW.
I WENT TO CHANGE THE FOG LIGHT BULBS BUT BOTH FOG LIGHTS HAVE MELTED THE HOUSING AND TURNED THE LENS BROWN. THE BULBS ARE MELTED TO THE HOUSING PREVENTING THE BULB FROM BEING ABLE TO BE REPLACED. IT NEEDS THE WHOLE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY REPLACED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2017 JEEP RENEGADE. THE CONTACT STATED WHEN PICKING UP A PERSON AT A COMMUNITY CENTER, WHEN THE PASSENGER ENTERED THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE JUST ACCELERATED ON IT'S OWN. THE CONTACT STATED THEY DEPRESSED ON THE BRAKE PEDAL BUT THE VEHICLE DID NOT STOP. THE VEHICLE WENT A CROSS STREET AND WENT OVER A GUARD RAIL. THE CONTACT STATED THEIR FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE CAME OFF OF THE VEHICLE. THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY AND THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. MEDICAL TREATMENT WAS NEEDED AT THE SCENE, THE CONTACT WAS ONLY PERSON INJURED WHEN THEIR LEFT EYE LID WAS CUT WHICH NEEDED STICHES. THE CONTACT WAS TAKEN TO HOSPITAL BY AMBULANCE FOR THEIR STICHES. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BY TERRY TOWING SERVICE. THE VEHICLE LATER WAS TOWED TO SCHAEFER AUTOBODY CENTERS (9902 WATSON RD, SAPPINGTON, MO 63126) WHO INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND DEEMED THE VEHICLE AS A TOTAL LOSS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 29,456.*DT
ENGINE STALLS OUT WHEN DRIVING AND AT SLOW TURNS ALSO LOW OIL LIGHT COMES ON EVEN THOUGH OIL IS UP TO DATE. VERY UNSAFE WHEN DROPPING KIDS OFF AT SCHOOL.
MANUAL TRANS 1.4L. FOR APPROXIMATELY THE LAST YEAR, I'VE GOTTEN AN INTERMITTENT 'SERVICE ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE' MESSAGE. I NEVER HAD IT LOOKED AT, I DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY AND THEN IT WOULD GO AWAY. ALSO THE CAR COMPLETELY STOPPED TURNING OFF FROM ACCESSORY POWER MODE. I COULDN'T JUST ROLL DOWN THE WINDOWS, I HAD TO CRANK THE CAR OR THE POWER WOULDN'T TURN BACK OFF. RECENTLY HAD CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WITH CODE P0807 'CLUTCH POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT 1 LOW' SHOWING. THE NEXT DAY, CAR WAS DIFFICULT TO START. IT TOOK SEVERAL TRIES PUSHING THE START BUTTON AND MESSING WITH CLUTCH BEFORE IT WOULD TURN OVER. I TOOK IT TO A SHOP (NOT DEALER) AND THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING OR REPLICATE THE CODES AND TOLD ME IT WAS A GLITCH. NEXT DAY I GET THE EPB LIGHT AGAIN AND USED MY CODE READER AND IT WAS SHOWING P0807 AND ABS CODE C1220-86. SO I LOCATED SAID SWITCH AND UNPLUGGED IT, AND BOOM. ALL THE PROBLEM CODES POPPED UP AGAIN AND I WAS ABLE TO TURN THE CAR OFF LIKE NORMAL. I REMOVED THE SENSOR AND OPENED THE COVER ON IT. THE CARBON FILM INSIDE WAS MISSING A SECTION. TESTED WITH A METER AND THE SENSOR LOST VOLTAGE WHEN SWEEP ARM INSIDE REACHED THE BROKEN SPOT. THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT COULD LEAVE YOU STRANDED SOMEWHERE IF YOU DIDN'T HAVE THE TOOLS TO REACH AND JUMP OUT THIS SENSOR. AND OF COURSE CLUTCH PARTS ARE NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. EVEN THOUGH THIS IS AN OBVIOUS FACTORY DEFECT SEEING AS IT'S ON THE INSIDE OF A SENSOR THAT I COULDN'T REACH WITHOUT REMOVING THE PANEL UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL.
NOTHING HAPPENED TINKERING WITH THIS SITE TO LEARN IT
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2017 JEEP RENEGADE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNDISCLOSED SPEED TO HER RESIDENCE, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL BURNING ODOR INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS SMOKE COMING FROM UNDERNEATH THE HOOD. THE CONTACT PULLED INTO HER DRIVEWAY, UNLATCHED AND OPENED THE HOOD, AND FLAMES ERUPTED FROM THE ENGINE. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES TO BOTH ARMS HOWEVER, SUSTAINED NO BURNS. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CONTACTED AND EXTINGUISHED THE FLAMES. A FIRE AND POLICE REPORT WERE FILED. NEITHER A DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT MENTIONED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V131000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) AS A POSSIBLE SOLUTION TO THE FAILURE HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 58,000. THE VEHICLE WAS DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.
WHEN I START THE CAR, THE WARNING LIGHT FOR THE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT CAME ON. WHEN I CHECKED THE LIGHT IT WAS OUT. THIS HAPPENED AROUND 30000 MILES. AT ABOUT 31000 THE BACKUP LIGHT WARNING LIGHT OUT CAME ON. I WAS UNABLE TO CHECK THE ACCURACY OF THIS. A FEW MONTHS LATER (MOST OF THE TIME THE CAR IS GARAGES AND ONLY GOES ON ROAD TRIPS) THE WARNING LIGHTS STOPPED COMING ON. WHEN I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER FOR A RECALL, ALL LIGHTS WERE WORKING AND THE WARNING LIGHTS OFF BUT THE DEALERS COMPUTER SHOWED THE DTRL OUT. THE DAY AFTER I TOOK IT HOME, THE WARNING LIGHT FOR THE DTRL CAME ON AGAIN AND THE DRIVER SIDE LIGHT WAS OUT AGAIN.
BOUGHT 2017/JEEP RENEGADE SEPTEMBER 2021 WITH ONLY 17000 MILES FRO JEEP DEALER IN ANDERSON SC BEFORE MY FIRST OIL CHANGE WAS DUE I HAD TO PUT 5 QUARTS OF OIL IN IT. IT WAS SHUTTING OFF WHILE IN MOTION SAYING LOW PRESSURE OIL LIGHT NEVER CAME ON ADD OIL BEEN RUNNING FINE
THE FOG LIGHTS ALMOST CAUGHT FIRE. THE FACTORY BULBS STARTED SMOKING AND I HAD TO UNPLUG THEM.
RENEGADE STALLING AT LOW SPEED OR MAKING A TURN LOW OIL PRESSURE SHOWS ON DISPLAY THIS IS NOT SAFE THIS COULD CAUSE A MAJOR ACCIDENT I BEEN RESEARCHING AND THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE A LOT PEOPLE COMPLAINING.
WHEN AT SLOW SPEEDS THE ENGINE STALLS AND SAYS TO ENTER PARK TO SHIFT INTO GEAR. THEN THE JEEP STRUGGLES TO RESTART AGAIN

CAR COMPLETELY STALLED AND LOCKED UP. BROUGHT IT TO HAVE OIL CHECKED AND IT WAS NOT THE PROBLEM. THEY ALSO CHECKED BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR WHICH ARE FINE. THIS IS VERY CONCERNING AND HAVE HEARD THIS WITH OTHER JEEPS. . CAR WAS DRIVING WHEN SUDDENLY AND UNEXPECTEDLY CAME TO A COMPLETE HALT AND ON THE OTHER OCCASION IT OCCURRED AT A STOP. THE VEHICLE COMPLETELY STALLED AND SHUTDOWN.
VEHICLE WILL STALL OUT WHEN DRIVING, GOING LESS THAN 40 MILES PER HOUR. SYSTEM DOES NOT SHUT DOWN. DOES NOT SEEM TO BE A BATTERY OR ELECTRICAL ISSUE. HAD THIS HAPPEN 3 TIMES IN A MONTH. PULLED OVER INTO PARK & HAD TO RESTART THE CAR. LOW OIL PRESSURE LIGHT CAME ON. TOOK IN FOR A ROUTINE OIL CHANGE. MECHANIC REFERRED ME TO DEALERSHIP AS THEY COULD ONLY DETERMINE A LOW OIL CONSUMPTION/ PRESSURE. TERRIBLE KNOCKING SOUND IN FRONT AS WELL. VERY CONCERNED AS OTHER JEEPS HAVE BEEN RECALLED FOR SIMILAR ISSUES, BUT MY 2017 RENEGADE LATITUDE IS NOT UNDER THE RECALL. HUGE SAFETY CONCERN.
I received a recall notice for engine consuming too much oil at which around the same time I was driving when the engine stalled on me in the middle of the road. I went to the dealer and they mentioned that engine was empty of oil. An oil consumption test was done and yielded normal results according to the dealership. Fresh oil change was given and after 3000 miles, the same problem occurred: engine stalled on me in the middle of the road way before the manufacturer recommended oil change interval. I called FCA Chrysler manufacturer who told me to go to another dealership. I go to another dealership and they said the same thing: oil consumption is normal. Dealer has been overfilling oil to compensate for the oil consumption so that when I return for oil changes or to complain, the oil leves appear to be normal.

THE VEHCILE WAS THEN TOWED TO BOLTON DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM FIAT (8181 MEMORIAL BLVD, PORT ARTHUR, TX 77640, (409) 237-5500) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FUEL PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE HOWEVER, NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 62,000. INVALID VIN.*DT*JB
THE MOTOR QUIT RUNNING WHILE TURNING ONTO AN ON-RAMP (25MPH), AND THE READOUT ON THE DASH SAID ' LOW OIL PRESSURE '. I HAD TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP, PUT IT IN PARK, AND PRESS THE BRAKE AND PUSH THE START BUTTON. IT STARTED UP AFTER A COUPLE OF TRIES, AND I DROVE ONTO THE INTERSTATE WITHOUT IT REOCCURRING. THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE NOW. IT ALSO HAPPENED ON 01/11/2021.
MY VEHICLE IS DUE FOR AN OIL CHANGE FEBRUARY 11. MANY 2017 JEEP RENEGADES HAVE HAD A RECALL ISSUED ON THEM FOR THE VEHICLE STALLING WHILE DRIVING AND MINE HAS STARTED DOING THIS. IT HAPPENED ONE OTHER TIME AND I THOUGHT MAYBE I MISSED AN OIL CHANGE. AFTER HAVING THE OIL CHANGED THE PROBLEM WENT AWAY. I AM NOT YET EVEN DUE FOR MY OIL CHANGE AND AM EXPERIENCING THE ISSUE AGAIN. MY VEHICLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE RECALL BUT SOME HOW WAS MISSED. THIS IS A BIG TIME SAFETY ISSUE AND WOULD HOPE THAT YOU GUYS WOULD LOOK IN TO IT.
2017 JEEP RENEGADE ENGINE DIES WHILE DRIVING, OFTEN AFTER MAKING TURNS, AND IT TAKES A FEW MINUTES TO START BACK UP. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON BOTH RESIDENTIAL STREETS AT SLOWER SPEEDS, AS WELL AS ON THE HIGHWAY AND IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT JEEP DEALERSHIP SAYS IT'S NORMAL AND A "FEATURE" OF THE VEHICLE TO TURN OFF THE ENGINE IF OIL LEVELS GET TOO LOW. WE REGULARLY CHANGE THE OIL EVERY 3,000 - 4,000 MILES, AND THERE HAVE BEEN NO OIL LEAKS DETECTED.
My 2017 Jeep Renegade has had issues with electrical failures for several years off and on. At times it will state that parking lights, headlights, and brake lights are not working and they really are. The radio will also go very loud then quiet or quit working all together. The air conditioner will stop working randomly and then start again. On another occasion it would not go out of park, the wipers would not shut off, and the windows were not working. It usually always randomly resolves but always occurs again. There is a known recall for the software which causes these exact issues but this VIN is not included. I have video of the malfunctions if needed.
MY CAR STALLED AND TURNED OFF WHILE DRIVING. I WAS IN MOTION TURNING FROM ONE ROAD ONTO ANOTHER IN JULY 2020 AND AGAIN 2X ON DEC 23RD, 2020 WITHOUT ANY WARNING. IN JULY THE DEALER TOLD ME IT WAS A "SAFETY FEATURE" FOR THE ENGINE TO TURN OFF IF THE OIL IS LOW. IT HAD BEEN 4,729 MILES SINCE MY LAST OIL CHANGE DONE BY THE JEEP DEALER WITH SYNTHETIC OIL (WHICH IS GOOD FOR 6,000 MILES). WHEN I HAD THE OIL CHECKED AFTER IT STALLED ON DEC 23RD THE OIL WAS 4 QUARTS LOW! THERE IS CURRENTLY A RECALL FOR OTHER 2017 JEEP RENEGADES WITH THE 2.4L ENGINE, BUT MY VIN IS NOT INCLUDED. THERE WAS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT FOR MY YEAR MAKE AND MODEL CAR FILED ON JULY 21ST, 2020 FOR THIS SAME EXACT PROBLEM.

WHILE IN MOTION THE VEHICLE HAS SHUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET NUMEROUS TIMES.. ONCE WHILE TURNING THE VEHICLE HAS TURNED OFF.
MY RENEGADE HAS STALLED 5XS IN THE LAST 4 MONTHS WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. EACH TIME, I'M DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS. IT CONSTANTLY SAYS MY OIL IS LOW, BUT THE TECHS KEEP SAYING MY OIL IS FINE. THIS LAST TIME, I CHECKED THE OIL. MY RENEGADE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE OIL ON THE DIP STICK. I SEARCHED MY USUAL PARKING SPOT AND THERE IS NO OIL ON THE GROUND.
MY ELECTRICAL POWER STEERING MODULE IS EXPERIENCING TECHNICAL ISSUES AND MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKED WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY.
There is a recall on the 2017 renegade but somehow my jeep isn’t on the list even though I am having the exact issue - they think the oil pump isn’t working correctly. The vehicle just stops driving when in drive. Which is terrifying. It happened twice and we contacted FCA twice to have them do nothing. They said we have to drive the vehicle for 2000 miles in order to read the oil level - which is nuts. I can’t get in a vehicle that just stops working while driving, it’s a huge liability. It’s been sitting at the service department in a dealership for a year and a half and no one will help.
CAR BURNS THROUGH OIL VERY QUICKLY. WHILE I WAS DRIVING, THE OIL LIGHT FLASHED FOR HALF A SECOND AND THEN THE CAR JUST COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN. THE OIL HAD RUN OUT COMPLETELY UNDER 2000 MILES FROM LAST OIL CHANGE. THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE. IF YOU DON'T CONSTANTLY MANUALLY CHECK THE OIL LEVEL, THE CAR CAN JUST SHUT OFF WITHOUT WARNING WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING WHICH IS VERY DANGEROUS. THIS CAR BURNS THROUGH OIL EXTREMELY FAST.
WHEN TURNING LEFT FROM A COLD START VEHICLE STALLS AND SHUTS OFF. IT SAYS IT NEEDS TO SHIFT, BUT IT IS ALREADY IN DRIVE. YOU MUST SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF AND ATTEMPT TO START IT SOMETIMES IT TAKES FIVE MINUTES FOR IT TO START. NOW IT SAYS THERE ARE ISSUES WITH THE LIGHTS, LIKE THEY ARE OUT BUT THEY ARE ACTUALLY WORKING. NO WORK HAS BEEN DONE ON IT BEFORE. CURRENTLY AT THE DEALERSHIP. HAVE VIDEO.
OIL CONSUMPTION PROBLEM (OIL COMPLETELY EMPTY) THE CAR STALLED WHILE DRIVING IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. STARTED ACTING UP AND BEING SLUGGISH WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY. NO SENSOR, ENGINE LIGHT, OR NOTICE TO ADD OIL CAME ON. WHEN THE CAR STALLED, CHECKED THE OIL AND IT WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY. HAS HAPPENED MORE THAN ONCE. ,
I HAVE TRIED TO GET IN CONTACT WITH SOMEONE TO GET MY FUEL PUMP FIXED. I FINALLY DID TODAY. BUT CAN'T GET IN UNTIL NEXTA FRIDAY. MY CAR HAS STOPPED WORKING COMPLETELY WHILE DRIVING. I HAVE HAD TO WRECK INTO MAILBOXES STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, AND ALMOST BE HIT BECAUSE MY CAR STOPS WORKING. I CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER. MY CAR IS A DANGER

THE CONTACT STATED THAT HER SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY UPON IMPACT. AS THE PARAMEDICS ARRIVED AT THE SCENE, THE CONTACT AND HER TWO CHILDREN WERE TRANSPORTED TO A LOCAL HOSPITAL. HER ELEVEN YEAR SON WAS TREATED FOR A BROKEN C2 BONE IN HIS NECK, HER EIGHT YEAR OLD SON WAS TREATED FOR A SEVERE SEAT BELT RASH ON HIS NECK AND HIP, AND THE CONTACT HAD BEEN TREATED FOR VAGINAL BLEEDING AND OTHER BRUISES TO VARIOUS BODY PARTS. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED AND TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT TOW YARD. THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND A COMPLAINT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 75,000.
WHILE DRIVING CAR JUST SHUTS OFF. MUST STOP AND PUT IT IN PARK TO RESTART IT
I have a 2017 Jeep Renegade Latitude. I bought it in 2020 and had it for 2 weeks when the engine blew up. There was a recall on the engine so Chrysler paid for the “new” engine. Two weeks after I got it back it started stalling out when I was driving down the road. I had a new starter put in it and now when it decides to shut down while driving the brakes come on, including the emergency brakes, it comes to a screeching halt, and the gear shift throws itself from drive into park. I just want to either get my car fixed or Stellantis to trade with me to make things right. It is very unsafe to drive. Especially when you don’t know when it is going to do this because it doesn’t happen every time you drive the car.
MY CAR STALLED. I HAD TO TAKE IT TO JIFF LUBE TO HAVE IT TOPPED WITH OIL BECAUSE THE OIL CHANGE WAS NOT DUE UNTIL 2000 MORE MILES AND THE OIL WAS VERY VERY LOW.
My fog light has now caught fire and burned twice. The entire assembly has melted to pieces. This is a safety concern and can result in someone's vehicle burning to the ground and possible injury to someone. This is not ok that my fog lights are catching fire like they are doing that is from the manufacturer. I'm being held responsible for repairs also that's not ok as I'm not at fault for this occurring.
MY ENGINE IS BURNING OIL. BEFORE I NEED AN OIL CHANGE MY CAR IS SHOWING LOW OIL PRESSURE AND RESULTS IN THE ENGINE BEING CUT OFF WHEN I'M DRIVING. I CHECK THE OIL GAUGE AND IT'S AT AN UNSAFE LEVEL. TWO QUARTS OF OIL NEEDED TO BE ADDED TO BE WITHIN THE SAME RANGE. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME IT'S HAPPENED. GOING ON THE 4 EVENT OF CONSECUTIVE OIL CHANGES NOW.
JEEP HAS 35000 MILES ON IT AND WHILE DRIVING DOWN CITY STREETS 4 TIMES THE VEHICLE HAS JUST STALLED. ONE TIME IT STALLED STARTING FROM A STOP SIGN. ONE TIME IT STALLED TURNING OFF THE HIGHWAY.
MY VEHICLE DISPLAY MESSAGE 'VEHICLE NOT IN PARK' WHILE DRIVING ANYWHERE AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. ONCE MSG DISPLAY, VEHICLE LOSES POWERS. THIS HAS HAPPEN WHILE DRIVING ON FREEWAY. IT IS INTERMITTENT ISSUE. I HAVE OPEN NUMEROUS CASE WITH CHRYSLER / FCA BUT BECAUSE DEALER IS NOT ABLE TO DUPLICATE THEY WON'T REPAIR. I READ ON INTERNET THERE IS DEFECT IN ENGINE. ALSO VEHICLE DISPLAYS SERVICE PASSIVE ENTRY SYSTEM. THEY RESET SOFTWARE AND ISSUE RETURNS.
BURNS 3+ QUARTS OF OIL EVERY 2500 MILES. WHEN OIL GETS LOW IT CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO STALL. I HAVE BEEN SITTING IN TRAFFIC AND HAD MY VEHICLE STALL 3 TIMES. I AM USING FULL SYNTHETIC 0W-20, GETTING OIL CHANGES EVERY 6,000 MILES AND I STILL HAVE TO PUT OIL IN IT REGULARLY. IT ALSO SLAMS GEARS AROUND 27-29MPH REGULARLY, THIS MAY BE ASSOCIATED TO THE OIL CONSUMPTION BECAUSE I NOTICE IT MORE FREQUENTLY WHEN THE OIL IS LOW.
OIL CONSUMPTION ISSUE USES MORE OIL THAN I FEEL IT SHOULD. NO CAR UNLESS REALLY HIGH MILEAGE SHOULD USE MORE THAN A QUART MAYBE BETWEEN OIL CHANGE I'VE ALREADY PUT IN 2.5 IN THIS OIL CHANGE.
HAVE HAD VEHICLE SINCE 2018. FOR 2 YEARS, I HAVE HAD 3 CYLINDER MISFIRES (WITH THE LAST ONE ABOUT TO HAPPEN AT ANY MOMENT) AND MY VEHICLE HAS STALLED WHILE DRIVING (ONCE ON THE FREEWAY) ABOUT 8 TIMES. I HAD TO PULL OVER EACH TIME TO A COMPLETE STOP. THE VEHICLE STATING "VEHICLE CANNOT CHANGE GEARS UNTIL STOPPED." ONCE I TURNED OFF THE ENGINE, IT TAKES ABOUT FIVE MINUTES TO RESTART THE ENGINE. THE CYLINDER MISFIRES ALWAYS BEGIN WITH AGGRESSIVE JERKING WHILE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. LASTING A FEW MONTHS, LEADING TO AGGRESSIVE SHAKING ONCE MISFIRED. ON OCCASION, WHILE VEHICLE IS STOPPED, SEAT BELT WILL ALSO NOT BUCKLE AND IN THE LAST TWO YEARS SEAT BELT HAS ALSO COME UNBUCKLED TWICE WHILE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION.
