AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT AND CHARM COME ON, FAILED CLOCK SPRING, VERY COMMON ISSUE ON THESE JEEP WRANGLERS, VERY DANGEROUS AS AIR BAG WILL NOT DEPLOY IN A COLLISION.
THE AIRBAG LIGHT ON DASH COMES ON AND OFF . DEALER SAID NO PROBLEM WITH AIRBAG. PROBLEM PERSISTS.
TIPM PROBLEM. CODE READER CODES ARE B10EC BLOWER MOTOR OVER CURRENT, B219A IGNITION START/ LOCK UNLOCK OVER CURRENT. SUGGESTED FIX, REPLACE TIPM. QUOTED FROM JEEP TO REPAIR IS $1100.00
AIRBAG DASH LIGHT AND WARNING CHIME COME ON INTERMITTENTLY. CODE SHOWS - B1B02 - DRIVER AIRBAG SQUIB 1 CIRCUIT OPEN. CLOCK SPRING IS SUSPECT, BUT THE HORN & CRUISE CONTROL ARE STILL FUNCTIONAL. THIS CONDITION HAPPENS AT ALL TIMES, WHETHER STATIONARY, MOVING OR TURNING.
GAS SPILLS OUT OF FILLER NECK AFTER THE PUMP CLICKS OFF. THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY AT THE GAS PUMP.
MY GAS TANK OVERFLOWS EVERY TIME I FILL IT. IT DOES NOT RECOGNIZE WHEN IT IS FULL AND STOPS PUMPING. IT MAKES THE NOISE IT IF FINISHED PUMPING AND WHEN I PULL OUT THE GAS HANDLE IT OVERFLOWS WITH GAS DOWN THE SIDE OF MY JEEP. MY VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY WHEN FILLING IT EVERY TIME.
TRANSMISSION COOLER LINES ARE LEAKING FROM THE METAL TO RUBBER FITTINGS. THEY'VE BEEN REPLACED BEFORE, BUT THE OEM PART DEVELOPS THIS LEAK. CHRYSLER ISSUED A TSB FOR THIS AND DEALER STATES IT'S A KNOWN ISSUE. MY VEHICLE IS NO LONGER COVERED BY THE TSB & THIS IS A FIRE HAZARD AS THE ATF GETS ALL OVER THE FRONT END.
DURING RE-FUELING, WHEN THE GAS TANK IS FULL, GAS OVERFLOWS OUT OF THE VEHICLE AND SPILLS EVERYWHERE. I WAS TOLD THE ENTIRE GAS TANK HAS TO BE REPLACED. MY WARRANTY IS EXPIRED AND THERE IS NO RECALL FOR MY YEAR JEEP WRANGLER (2010). I SAW THAT THIS IS COVERED FOR JEEP YEARS 2006-2007 REGARDLESS OF MILES/WARRANTY. THIS IS A HAZARD THAT SHOULD BE COVERED FOR ANY YEAR JEEP, NOT JUST THOSE SPECIFIC YEARS.
GAS TANK OVERFLOW ON EVERY FILLUP. ON SOME PUMPS I CAN ONLY PUMP 1/3 OF A GALLON AT A TIME VERY SLOWLY. IT SEEMS CLEAR THAT THE CHECK VALVE IS HAVING SOME KIND OF ISSUE AS IS A WELL KNOWN PROBLEM IN THESE JEEPS. THE DEALERSHIP WILL NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PROBLEM AND CHARGES ALMOST DOUBLE WHAT A NEW TANK WOULD COST TO DIAGNOSE AND REPLACE THE TANK.
AIRBAG MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT ON.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP WANGLER. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING AND THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AND DROVE HOME. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE FAILURE RECURRED THREE TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 77,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG LIGHT ILLUMINATED. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD A DEFECTIVE CLOCK SPRING THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V176000 (AIR BAGS); HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 82,000.
EVERY TIME I FILL UP THE GAS TANK, THE TANK OVERFLOWS. THE AUTOMATIC SHUTOFF ON THE PUMP DOESN'T STOP AND GAS POURS OUT. EVERY TIME, EVERY GAS STATION. I CAN'T FILL UP THE TANK COMPLETELY BECAUSE IT WILL OVERFLOW. I HAVE TO ESTIMATE WHEN IT'S CLOSE TO FULL AND STOP IT BEFORE IT GETS CLOSE.
WHILE DRIVING, THE HORN STOPPED WORKING ALONG WITH THE SPEED CONTROL AND WIPERS AND DIRECTIONAL SIGNALS . THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS ILLUMINATED. MY JEEP WRANGLER HAS JUST OVER 30,000 MILES ON THE ODOMETER.
DASHBOARD DOESN'T ILLUMINATE, DIRECTIONAL SIGNALS DON'T OPERATE, WIPERS WON'T STOP. THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM) NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AS I HAD THIS DIAGNOSED BY A PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC. AND I HAD THE CLOCK SPRING REPLACED BY A JEEP DEALER AS THIS DIDN'T CORRECT THE EXISTING ELECTRICAL PROBLEM. THIS PROBLEM HAPPENED AFTER THE JEEP WAS PARKED OVERNIGHT IN MY GARAGE AND IT HAPPENED JANUARY 2016.
ON THE 2010 JEEP WRANGLER (LHD) DASHBOARD, THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT FLASHES ON EVERY OTHER MINUTE WITH A CHIME, AN INDICATION THAT THERE IS SOMETHING MALFUNCTIONING OR INTERFERING WITH THE VEHICLE'S AIRBAGS.THIS HAS BEEN A RECURRING ISSUE AND CONCERN FOR MANY 2010 JEEP WRANGLER (LHD) OWNERS, INCLUDING MYSELF, AND HAS BEEN SHOWN TIME AND TIME AGAIN TO BE CAUSED BY A FAULTY CLOCKSPRING WITHIN THE VEHICLE'S STEERING WHEEL. THIS FAULTY CLOCKSPRING IS THE CULPRIT FOR POTENTIAL AIRBAG FAILURE IN THE 2010 JEEP WRANGLER (LHD) DURING AN ACCIDENT OR PREMATURE DEPLOYMENT WHEN SIMPLY DRIVING AROUND. FIAT CHRYSLER HAS REFUSED TO ADDRESS THE SAFETY CONCERN OF THEIR FAULTY CLOCKSPRING THAT CAN CAUSE FAILURE OF THE VEHICLE'S AIRBAGS FROM PROPERLY DEPLOYING. MY JEEP WRANGLER HAS JUST OVER 50K MILES AND BOTH THE ESP / BAS LIGHT AND THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT HAVE BEGUN FLASHING AND CHIMING INTERMITTENTLY. I WAS TOLD BY FIAT CHRYSLER THAT THE CLOCK SPRING ON THE 2010 (LHD) IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE CLOCK SPRING EXTENDED WARRANTY AVAILABLE TO OTHER MODEL YEARS AND THE RHD VERSION ON THE SAME MODEL YEAR. THE CLOCK SPRING IS THE SAME IN ALL OF THE AFFECTED VEHICLES AND REPRESENTS A POTENTIAL THREAT OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH SHOULD THE AIRBAG FAIL TO DEPLOY IN AN ACCIDENT OR DEPLOY PREMATURELY.
WHILE PARKED ENGINE BEGAN TO REPEATEDLY CRANKED AND MOVED OVER CURB OVER 20 FEET UNTIL STOP BY STRIKING OVER VEHICLES AND EXHAUST BATTERY POWER.
TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE FAILED RESULTING IN LOSS OF HORN, WIPERS, INTERIOR DOME LAMP, DASH LIGHTS, AND AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFT LEVER IS LOCKED IN PARK.
EVERY TIME I FULL MY GAS TANK IN MY JEEP, IT ALWAYS SPEWS GAS OUT ON ME AND THE JEEP. THIS IS VERY HAZARDOUS AND VERY HARD TO CLEAN. IT HAPPENS EVERY SINGLE TIME AT ANY GAS PUMP. I HAVE A CHILD IN THE NICU THAT CAN'T BE AROUND ANY FUMES AND ITS PREVENTING ME FROM SEEING MY DAUGHTER. I HAVE HEARD CHRYSLER WILL DO NOTHING ABOUT THE "ISSUE".
TAKATA RECALL, BOTH RECALLS HAVE YET TO BE FIXED. APPOINTMENT CALLED IN TO DEALER AND THEY HAVE NOT SCHEDULED THE REPAIRS TO THIS DATE.
GASOLINE OVERFLOWS OUT OF THE FILLER WHILE ADDING FUEL. THIS HAS HAPPENED AT DIFFERENT GAS STATIONS FROM INDIANA TO FLORIDA. FUEL OVERFLOWS NO MATTER HOW FAST OR SLOW I FILL THE TANK AND IF I ALLOW THE PUMP TO AUTO SHUT OFF OR I FILL BY HAND. I HAVE ATTACHED A PHOTO OF ANOTHER JEEP WRANGLER DOING THE SAME THING AS MINE.
BROKEN CLOCKSPRING.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2010 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 15 MPH, BURNING FUMES EMITTED IN AND AROUND THE VEHICLE. AFTER INSPECTING THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT NOTICED FLAMES AND FUEL LEAKING IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE BUT THE VEHICLE ENGULFED INTO FLAMES. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CLOCK SPRING HAD FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.

TAMARA RECALL, AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON AND OFF, REPAIR SHOP CHECKED THE CODES,TELLS ME WHEN THE LIGHT IS ON,THE AIRBAG IS DISABLED. I CHECKED AND FOUND THOUSAND OF COMPLAINTS WITH SAME PROBLEM. ALSO FOUND RECALL WITH RIGHT SIDE STEERING,BUT NONE FOR LEFT SIDE. TOOK TO DEALERSHIP, $700. THIS DEFECT SHOULD BE A CONCERN BEFORE PEOPLE GET KILLED. TAKING THIS SERIOUSLY, AIRBAGS ARE USELESS. ONCE I AM DRIVING,IT COMES ON,CHIMES EVERY COUPLE OF MINUTES.

THIS FAULTY CLOCKSPRING IS THE CULPRIT FOR POTENTIAL AIRBAG FAILURE IN THE 2008 JEEP WRANGLER DURING AN ACCIDENT OR PREMATURE DEPLOYMENT WHEN SIMPLY DRIVING AROUND. JEEP HAS HAD CLOCKSPRING RECALLS PREVIOUSLY WITH THEIR 2007 WRANGLERS, BUT THIS RECALL HAS NOT BEEN EXTENDED TO THE 2008- VERSIONS. DAIMLER CHRYSLER HAS REFUSED TO VOLUNTARILY ADDRESS THE SAFETY CONCERN OF THEIR FAULTY CLOCKSPRING THAT CAN CAUSE FAILURE OF THE VEHICLE'S AIRBAGS FROM PROPERLY DEPLOYING.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP WRANGLER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMAL NOISE COMING FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE INSPECTED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE BRAKE ROTORS WERE DISINTEGRATING AND THE EMERGENCY BRAKE SHOES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT WAS ALSO INFORMED THAT THE BRAKE ROTORS WERE WARPED DUE TO WATER COMING INTO CONTACT WITH THE BRAKE ROTORS. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 23,000.
JUST ABOUT EVERY TIME I FILL UP MY 2010 JEEP WRANGLER JK WITH GAS, IT SPITS GAS BACK OUT OF THE FILL UP NECK TUBE. WHEN I GET HOME AND PARK IT IN THE GARAGE IT FILLS THE ENTIRE HOUSE UP WITH GAS ODOR. I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT OUR HEALTH AS THIS COULD NOT BE SAFE. JUST A SIDE NOTE, I AM ALSO CONCERNED WHAT THIS WILL DO TO MY NICE PAINT. I HAVE RESEARCHED THIS VERY GOOD AND HAVE READ SEVERAL OTHER CASES IDENTICAL TO MINE AND IT SEEMS THAT THIS PROBLEM NEEDS ADDRESSED.
WE BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE ALMOST TWO YEARS DECEMBER. AFTER HAVING THIS VEHICLE AROUND 7 MONTHS WITH NO PROBLEMS, WE TOOK IT TO KING EXPRESSLUBE TO HAVE OIL CHANGED, IN WHICH, THE WRONG OIL FILTER WAS PUT ON VEHICLE RESULTING IN A BLOWN ENGINE. KING EXPRESSLUBE PAIR THE ENTIRE COST OF THE ENGINE AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO NORTH POINT JEEP. EVERY SINCE ENGINE WAS REPLACED, WE HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR NOT CRANKING. VEHICLE HAS BEEN TOWED TO THE JEEP DEALERSHIP NUMEROUS TIMES WITH THEM SAYING, " WE CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG". WAS ADVISED TO CARRY A " HAMMER" TO TAP UNDER STARTER TO " SEE IF IT WILL CRANK" . SO IT BROKE DOWN AGAIN TWO WEEKS AGO WHICH THEY HAD THE VEHICLE TWO DAYS AND WAS RETURNED STATING THEY CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG! WOULD NOT CRANK AGAIN TODAY AND THEY FINALLY FOUND SOMETHING! SAID THAT IT WAS THE TIPM, OF COURSE THAT'S NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY AND IT WILL COST US 900.00 TO REPLACE PART! THIS HAS BEEN VERY TACKY BUSINESS PRACTICE SINCE I HAVE READ TODAY THAT CHRYSLER HAS KNOWN THIS IS A FAULTY PART AND UNWILLING TO STAND BEHIND THEIR VEHICLES! ABS, ESP AND TRAC CONT. LIGHTS ALL CAME ON SIMULTANEOUSLY. DIAGNOSED AS A FAULTY CLOCK SPRING MECHANISM. $587.58 BILL FROM THE DEALER, TO REPAIR. APPROXIMATELY 66, 140 MILES AT THE TIME OF FAILURE. WRANGLER, 2 DOOR, 4 WHEEL DRIVE. HIGHWAY SPEED, APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH. APPARENTLY IT WAS NOT COVERED BY NHTSA ID: 13V176000, CHRYSLER RECALL M31.
EVERYTIME I FILL UP WITH GAS AT THE GAS STATION , IT OVERFLOWS AND GETS GAS ALL OVER MY CAR AS WELL AS MYSELF.

I DID SOME RESEARCH AND SELECTED JEEP MODELS FROM 2007 TO 2012 HAD A RECALL FOR THIS ISSUE. WHEN I CONTACTED CRYSTLER ON THIS ISSUE THEY INFORMED ME THAT MY JEEP IS NOT PART OF THE RECALL EVEN THOUGH IT IS THE SAME PROBLEM AS OTHER JEEPS. IT IS GOING TO COST ABOUT $700.00 OUT OF POCKET TO FIX THIS ISSUE ON MY JEEP.
MY AIRBAG LIGHTS KEEP GOING OFF AND ON EVERY MINUTE OR SO. I CALLED CHRYSLER TO SEE IF THEIR WAS A RECALL ON THE CLOCK SPRING AND THEY SAID NO. THE REPAIR IS GOING TO COST ME $750.00.
TAMARA INFLATORS SEE WHERE RIGHT HAND DRIVE HAS BEEN RECALLED. TOOK MY JEEP TO DEALER,THEY TOLD ME THEY HAVE SEEN HUNDREDS WITH THIS PROBLEM,ONE DEALER. ALSO SAID MY AIRBAGS WAS DISABLED BECAUSE OF THIS. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW I AM SAFE AFTER PAYING THIS MUCH FOR A JEEP. I ONLY HAVE 64,000 MILES ON IT. DEALERSHIP SAID THEY SHOULD BE RECALLED, SO MANY 2010.
JEEP GOES INTO A DEATH WOBBLE AT 60/65 MPH. REPLACED STEERING STABILIZER AND STILL WOBBLES.

THE AIRBAG CLOCKSPRING ASSEMBLIES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED IN MY LEFT-HAND DRIVE JEEP WRANGLER. THE JEEP WRANGLER ALREADY HAS A RECALL FOR RIGHT-HAND DRIVE MODELS ADDRESSING BROKEN AIRBAG CLOCKSPRING ASSEMBLIES. RECALL NUMBER: 13V176000 IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH NECESSITATING AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT, A BROKEN ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT IN THE AIRBAG CLOCKSPRING WIRING ASSEMBLY CAN LEAD TO NON-DEPLOYMENT OF THE DRIVER-SIDE FRONTAL AIRBAG AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROPERLY PROTECT THE DRIVER, INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURIES. IN MY OPINION THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY RISK IN THE JEEP WRANGLER. I RECEIVED THE WARNING LIGHT WHILE THE JEEP WAS IN MOTION, AND LUCKILY I WAS NEAR A JEEP DEALERSHIP (BILL BRYAN CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP, FRUITLAND PARK, FL 34731) WHERE I HAD THE BROKEN AIRBAG CLOCKSPRING ASSEMBLY REPLACED TO THE TUNE OF $500.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED AND TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CLOCK SPRING FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. MY HEADLIGHTS AND MARKER LIGHTS WOULD NOT SHUT OFF UNLESS I DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY. WINDSHIELD WIPERS WOULD RANDOMLY COME ON AND NOT SHUT OFF. CHANGED OUT THE ACCESSORY SWITCH AND THAT DIDN'T FIX ANYTHING. CHANGED SOME FUSES AND THE PROBLEM SEEMED TO BE RESOLVED. THE NEXT DAY MY JEEP WOULDN'T START. JUMPED IT WITHOUT A PROBLEM AND ABOUT A HALF A MILE DOWN THE ROAD WHILE DRIVING ALL OF THE DASH LIGHTS STARTED FLASHING. MY JEEP ENGINES MOTOR STALLED WHILE IN MOTION ON A BUSY CITY STREET WITH A SPEED LIMIT OF 40 MPH, FORTUNATELY I HAD JUST STARTED SLOWING DOWN FOR THE RED LIGHT SO AN ACCIDENT DID NOT OCCUR. I SAT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BUSY ROAD FOR TEN MINUTES WAITING FOR THE POLICE TO PUSH ME TO AN EMPTY PARKING LOT. DUE TO THESE SYMPTOMS AND THE PREVIOUS INVESTIGATION (NHTSA DEFECT INVESTIGATION #DP14004), I BELIEVE I HAVE A FAULTY TIPM. THE LOCAL REPAIR SHOP IN HUBBARD, OHIO LOOKED OVER THE JEEP FOR BAD GROUNDS AND WIRES AND NOTHING WAS FOUND. ON MARCH 6, 2016, THE JEEP'S HEADLIGHTS WOULD NOT SHUT OFF UNLESS THE VEHICLE WAS SHUT OFF, THE FOG LIGHTS LIGHT ON THE DASH FLASHED AND THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS WOULD COME ON WITH THE FOG LIGHT SWITCH. THE HEADLIGHTS WOULD SHUT OFF WHEN I SHUT THE JEEP OFF AND REMOVED THE KEY, SO I DEALT WITH THE PROBLEM FOR A FEW DAYS UNTIL IT WENT AWAY ON ITS OWN. I'M HOPING THIS IS THE LAST OF MY TIPM ISSUES.
THERE ARE RECALLS ALREADY FOR THE ISSUE BELOW FOR RIGHT HAND STEERING VEHICLES. THIS RECALL SHOULD BE APPLIED TO ALL JEEP WRANGLER VEHICLES 2007-2012. A BROKEN ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT IN THE AIRBAG CLOCKSPRING WIRING ASSEMBLY CAN LEAD TO NON-DEPLOYMENT OF THE DRIVER FRONTAL AIRBAG AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROPERLY PROTECT THE DRIVER IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH, INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURIES. ANYTIME THAT THE STEERING WHEEL IS MOVED FROM NEUTRAL/STRAIGHT POSITION THE AIRBAG LIGHT WILL TURN ON AND A CHIME IS HEARD.
I HAVE WHAT IS COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE JEEP "DEATH WOBBLE". I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT A RECALL HAS NOT BEEN ISSUED FOR THIS. I ALMOST CAUSED AN ACCIDENT ENTERING A HIGHWAY WITH A CONSTRUCTION ZONE AS THERE WAS NO WHERE TO PULL OVER. THE JEEP WAS UNCONTROLLABLE AT 55 MPH.
RECENTLY PURCHASED A USED 2010 JEEP WRANGLER EVERY TIME I FILL THE TANK GAS IT SPITS OUT ON AUTO SHUT OFF AND IS LIKE A GEYSER WHEN I REMOVE THE PUMP. GAS GOES ALL OVER MY HAND AND CLOTHES. I NOTE THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHER REPORTS OF THIS. THIS OCCURS EVERY TIME I FILL THE TANK. THERE WERE > 900 COMPLAINTS REGARDING THIS IN 2010-11. WHY WON'T CHRYSLER FIX THIS PROBLEM?
I WAS DRIVING TO WORK ON 10-5-15 WHEN A DRUNK DRIVER PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF ME, I HAD NO TIME TO STOP BUT WHEN MY 2010 JEEP WRANGLER UNLIMITED HIT THEIR VEHICLE, I IMMEDIATELY SMELLED AND SAW SMOKE COMMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT OF MY JEEP. I DROVE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WHERE I QUICKLY GOT OUT AND MADE IT JUST IN TIME BECAUSE THE VEHICLE QUICKLY BURST INTO FLAMES. MY AIRBAGS ALSO DID NOT DEPLOY WHICH I THOUGHT ODD BECAUSE I WAS TRAVELING AROUND 45 MPH AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT.
