WATER IS ACCUMULATING ON DRIVERS SIDE FLOORBOARD AND KEEPS REAPPEARING. CARPET IS BEGINNING TO SMELL MUSTY. SEEMS TO DEVELOP WHETHER IT IS RAINING OR NOT. THE FREEDOM TOP HAS BEEN IN ORIGINAL FACTORY STATE AND HAS NOT BEEN REMOVED AND REINSTALLED. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE DAY OF PURCHASE. (NEW)
THE FREEDOM TOP LEAKS WHEN IT RAINS WHICH CAUSES WATER TO LEAK INTO THE RADIO, DASHBOARD AND ON TO THE FLOOR. I'VE HAD IT SERVICED ONCE AND IT CONTINUES TO HAPPEN.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 JEEP WRANGLER. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, ANOTHER VEHICLE SWITCHED LANES IN FRONT OF THE CONTACT AND ABRUPTLY DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO THE REAR OF THE OTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED NECK AND BACK INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. A DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,800.
MANUAL TRANSMISSION GEAR SHIFT LEVER GETS REALLY SLOPPY GEAR SHIFT ALMOST HITS FLOOR AND ROTATES
THE SHIFTER ON MY MANUAL 2016 JEEP WRANGLER BROKE TODAY WHILE I WAS GETTING ON THE HIGHWAY. IT ALMOST CAUSED A BAD ACCIDENT. THERE ARE 4,000 MILES ON THE CAR. IT FELT LIKE IT BECAME DISENGAGED AND WAS TURNING SIDEWAYS AND MAKING CRACKLING SOUNDS, LIKE BROKEN BONES. IT BECAME DIFFICULT TO PUT INTO GEAR OR TO KNOW WHICH GEAR THE CAR WAS IN. I MANAGED TO PULL OVER AND AM WAITING FOR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE. A QUICK GLANCE THROUGH A JEEP FORUM AND I FOUND MANY OTHERS WITH THE SAME EXACT DESCRIPTION. ALL 2016 JEEP WRANGLERS. THE CAR WILL BEGIN TO ACCELERATE ON ITS OWN WHILE DRIVING AND THE ONLY WAY TO STOP ACCELERATION IS BY BRAKING. IT HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP SEVERAL TIMES. WE ARE TOLD THEY REPLACED THE THROTTLE BODY AND IT STOPPED FOR A FEW MONTHS BUT IS NOW DOING THIS AGAIN. THIS VEHICLE HAS A POSSIBLE AIR BAG CLOCK SPRING MALFUNCTION..THIS IS A SERIOUS THING BUT THIS IS A 2016 MODEL....NOW WE TRADED IN S 2011 WRANGLER THAT HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. 5 YEARS LATER AND STILL NOT FIXED SO I NEED AN ANSWER... THE CLOCK SPRING WAS REPLACED ON THE 2011 ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO BUT BURNED TO THE GROUND ABOUT 8/01/2016.
ENGINE TICKING ON LEFT SIDE. THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE 3.6 PENSTAR ENGINE. I'VE TAKEN IT TO TWO DIFFERENT JEEP DEALERSHIPS AND BOTH OF THEM SAID PRETTY MUCH THAT THIS IS SOMETHING I'LL JUST HAVE TO DEAL WITH. THAT IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. THIS WAS OVER A 30 THOUSAND DOLLAR INVESTMENT. THIS JEEP DIDN'T HAVE THIS PROBLEM WHEN I PURCHASED IT OTHERWISE I WOULDN'THAVE BOUGHT IT. LOOKING TO THE NHTSA FOR A SOLUTION.
GEAR "STICK" -- MANUAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM: 1. "WHEN CHANGING INTO SECOND GEAR, THE GEAR STICK SHIFTS TOWARD THE LEFT, TOUCH OR NEAR TOUCHING THE DISENGAGED, LOWERED-- EMERGENCY BRAKE LEVER--WITHOUT GOING INTO SECOND GEAR. 2. GEAR OCCASIONALLY DOES NOT GO INTO NEUTRAL WH EN SHIFTED TO THAT POSITION. 3. GEAR STICK TWIST, AND SHIFT PASS REVERSE WITHOUT GOING INTO REVERSE.
MY 2016 MANUAL JEEP RUBICON UNLIMITED (APPROX 14K MILES) DROVE/SHIFTED FINE ON MY WAY TO WORK (ABOUT 3 MILES, VERY LIGHT TRAFFIC) LAST NIGHT, BUT WHEN I GOT BACK IN THE JEEP TO HEAD HOME, THE STICK-SHIFT WAS ALL CADDY WOMPUS AND I STRUGGLED TO GET IT INTO GEAR TO BACK OUT OF MY PARKING SPACE. IT FELT LIKE IT HAD TWISTED SIDEWAYS AND FALLEN DOWN. TO GET IT INTO 1ST GEAR, I HAD TO SHOVE IT FAR TO THE LEFT TOWARD THE STEERING WHEEL, AND FOR 2ND GEAR, I HAD TO PRACTICALLY JAM THE SHIFTER INTO MY LEG. FINDING NEUTRAL AND REVERSE WAS TRICKY--THE WHOLE SHIFTER MECHANISM FELT LIKE BROKEN BONES AND MUSH. I WAS ABLE TO GET IT HOME (THANKFULLY A SHORT DRIVE ON BACK ROADS WHERE I COULD GO SLOW AND THERE WAS NO TRAFFIC) BUT WAS BAFFLED BY HOW IT WAS FINE EARLIER, THEN SUDDENLY JUNK. THANKFULLY I WAS NOT ON THE HIGHWAY OR ON A TRIP SOMEWHERE WITH MY DAUGHTER IN THE JEEP. A TOW TRUCK PICKED IT UP THIS MORNING AT OUR HOME BECAUSE DRIVING IT 16 MILES TO THE DEALER IN THE CITY IN HEAVY TRAFFIC (NOT KNOWING IF SHIFTING WOULD BE AN OPTION) SEEMED VERY DANGEROUS. THE REP AT THE JEEP DEALER SAID HE HAD NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE, HOWEVER I DISCOVERED MANY PEOPLE ON WRANGLERFORUM.COM HAVE REPORTED THE EXACT SAME ISSUE. WITHOUT HEARING BACK FROM THE DEALER YET TO VERIFY, IT APPEARS TO BE THE 52060064AG LEVER GEARSHIFT / BUSHING THAT HAS MALFUNCTIONED/BROKEN. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT MY FIRST EVER AMERICAN MADE VEHICLE FEELS LIKE CHEAP JUNK. IN ADDITION TO THIS POTENTIALLY VERY SERIOUS ISSUE, THERE HAVE BEEN OTHER MINOR IRRITATING ISSUES SUCH AS THE DRIVER SIDE MIRROR SIMPLY FALLING OFF WHILE DRIVING, AND THE FENDER OVER THE REAR WHEEL FALLING OFF. THINGS LIKE THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN WITH A NEW "TOUGH" (AND RELATIVELY EXPENSIVE) VEHICLE. I AM DISAPPOINTED AND, FRANKLY, PISSED. DOES QUALITY EVEN EXIST ANYMORE?
I HAVE AN AUTOMATIC JEEP RUBICON 2016 UNLIMITED. IT DIED DURING MOTION AFTER SHIFTING TO REVERSE FROM DRIVE. I WAS DOING A SHARP TURN WHERE I NEEDED TO GO BACK IMMEDIATELY AND JUST WHEN I SHIFT REVERSE (DURING PRESSING THE BRAKES LIKE NORMALLY EVERYBODY DOES) IT SHUT DOWN. THEN, I PUT IN PARK AND STARTED IT AGAIN AND IT DIDN'T RECOGNIZE THE REVERSE (IDLING BUT NOT MOVING). I HAD TO PUT IT OFF (AFTER SHIFTING TO PARK) AND START IT AGAIN. AT THE SECOND TIME IT RECOGNIZED REVERSE AND WORKED FINE FOR NOW. NO CODES DURING THE INCIDENT. MY CASE IS SIMILAR TO THE COMPLAINT: NHTSA ID NUMBER: 10850113.
2016 JEEP WRANGLER UNLIMITED BLACK BEAR EDITION 6 SPEED MANUAL. SHIFT LEVER IS MAKING CLICKING SOUND WHEN SHIFTING. SHIFTER CAN ROTATE 360 DEGREES. FEELS LOOSE WHEN SHIFTING AND INTERFERES WITH PUT JEEP INTO GEAR. UNABLE TO DRIVE VEHICLE UNTIL IT GETS FIXED. IS COVERED UNDER POWER TRAIN WARRENTY. ONLY HAD THE JEEP FOR 6 MONTHS.

MANUAL GEAR LEVER SPINS MAKING THE VEHICLE IMPOSSIBLE TO SHIFT. HAPPENED OVERNIGHT.
OUR 2 WEEK OLD 2016 JEEP WRANGLER WILLYS WAS IN A SOLO COLLISION IN JULY 2016. MY PARTNER HIT WATER, HYDROPLANED, AND THEN HIT A GUARDRAIL WITH THE FRONT END AT 50+ MPH ON A 4 LANE HIGHWAY. SHE WENT AIRBORNE, FLIPPED SEVERAL TIMES AND WAS EJECTED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE SEATS CAME OUT AND ROLL BARS FAILED, BUT THE AIRBAGS ALSO NEVER WENT OFF DESPITE THE INITIAL IMPACT. WE DO NOT KNOW IF SHE WAS WEARING HER SEATBELT. SHE SUFFERED A TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY, COLLAPSED LUNG, SHATTERED PELVIS, BROKEN BACK, BROKEN HIP, BROKEN EYE SOCKET, COMPOUND FRACTURE OF HER ANKLE, BROKEN TAILBONE, MULTIPLE DEEP LACERATIONS AND WAS IN ICU FOR WEEKS. I FIRST EXPERIENCED THE "DEATH WOBBLE" WITHIN A YEAR OR SO OF PURCHASING MY NEW 2016 JEEP WRANGLER...VERY SCARY (SEEMS TO HAPPEN ON A ROUGH SPOTS IN THE ROAD, TRAVELING AT 45 MPH OR HIGHER).THE FRONT END WAS SHAKING SO BADLY THAT I THOUGHT I HAD A FLAT TIRE, OR THAT A WHEEL HAD FALLEN OFF. IT HAS NOW HAPPENED AT LEAST 8 TIMES, AND I NO LONGER DRIVE ON ANY INTERSTATE HIGHWAY. I TOOK IT IN TO THE JEEP DEALER TO HAVE THIS CHECKED OUT ON JUNE 27, 2017 WITH 31,237 MILES ON THE VEHICLE. THEY SAID THAT EVERYTHING LOOKED FINE. ALSO HAD THE TIRES ROTATED AND BALANCED TO SEE IF THAT WAS PART OF THE PROBLEM, BUT JUST WHEN YOU THINK THAT ALL IS OK, IT HAPPENS AGAIN. YOU ARE NEVER SURE WHEN TO EXPECT IT, AND IT IS UNNERVING. THE JEEP DEALER CLAIMED TO HAVE NOT HEARD OF THE "DEATH WOBBLE". I THINK JEEP IS HIDING THE FACT THAT THERE IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM. YOU CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT IT IS LIKE UNTIL IT HAPPENS TO YOU.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO SHIFT TO FOURTH, FIFTH OR SIXTH GEAR. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT VEHICLE ALSO FAILED TO SHIFT THE REVERSE. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE FAILURE RECURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SHIFTER ASSEMBLY WAS FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 8,000.
JEEP LEAKS EVERYTIME IT RAINS. LEAKS ON BOTH SIDES BUT PASSENGER SIDE IS THE WORSE. SOAKS THE FLOORS AND PASSENGER SIDE SEAT. DRIPS OUT FROM UNDER THE DASH AS WELL ON PASSENGER SIDE. WATER CAN CAUSE ELECTRICAL ISSUES UNDER THE DASH, MOISTURE IN FLOOR AND SEAT CAUSE THE WINDOWS TO FOG UP AT TIMES WHICH MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO SEE OUT OF, AND PRESENCE OF A MILDEW SMELL WILL EVENTUALLY TURN INTO MOLD. VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN SHOP MANY TIMES AND STILL NOT REPAIRED.
MY JEEP WAS BOUGHT BRAND NEW LESS THAN A MONTH AGO AND WHEN I TAKE MY FOOT OFF THE BRAKE OR PRESS THE BRAKES THERE'S A NOISE. ITS NOT THE SAME NOISE THAT THE CAR WOULD MAKE IF THE BRAKES WHERE BAD. I BROUGHT MY CAR BACK TO THE DEALER THAT I GOT IT FROM AND THEY SAID ALL JEEPS DO THAT WHICH DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 JEEP WRANGLER. WHEN THE DEFOGGER WAS ACTIVATED, IT FAILED TO RESPOND. AS A RESULT, THE VISIBILITY THROUGH THE FRONT WINDSHIELD WAS OBSCURED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 33,619.
THE CONNECTION OF THE GEAR SHIFTER TO THE MANUAL TRANSMISSION BREAKS, LEAVING YOU STUCK IN WHATEVER GEAR IT WAS LAST IN, AND BASICALLY STRANDED. I PERSONALLY WAS IN A PARKING GARAGE WHEN IT OCCURED, OTHERS HAVE BEEN ON AND OFF ALL KINDS OF ROADS. BROKEN SHIFTER. WAS OUT IN THE COUNTRY AND AFTER LUNCH I WAS ABOUT TO START DRIVING BACK HOME AND FELT THE SHIFTER KINDA LOOSE. AS I PULLED INTO THE HIGHWAY I NOTICED I WASN'T ABLE TO SHIFT 5TH OR 6TH GEAR AND THEN NOTICED THE SHIFTER WAS ABLE TO ROTATE... CRAZY. IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO SELECT A GEAR, GOOD THING IS THAT I WAS ALREADY ON THE HIGHWAY AND NO NEED TO DOWNSHIFT ALTHOUGH HAD TO DRIVE ONLY IN 5TH GEAR AS IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO SELECT 6TH GEAR. I AM CLOSE TO THE HIGHWAY SO AS SOON AS I PULLED OFF THE HIGHWAY, I DROVE HOME; IT WAS A BIT SCARY; I THOUGHT I HAD BROKEN SOMETHING. AS SOON AS I GOT HOME AND PARKED MY JEEP I CONTACTED A COUPLE OF FRIENDS AND TOLD ME TO EITHER TAKE IT TO THE DEALER THE NEXT DAY OR CALL ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AS MAYBE A TOW TRUCK WOULD BE NEEDED. NEXT DAY IN THE MORNING, DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY AND DROVE IT, VERY CAREFULLY, TO THE DEALER (IS LIKE 3 MILES AWAY FROM MY PLACE). ONCE THERE, THE TECHNICIAN TOLD ME SHE HADN'T SEEN OR KNOWN OF A SIMILAR ISSUE AND THAT YES, THE SHIFTER WAS EITHER LOOSE OR BROKEN. FIXED UNDER WARRANTY IN 4 DAYS, NO EXPLANATION. I TOLD HER WHEN I PICKED IT UP THAT TO ME IT WAS A SAFETY ISSUE AND I HAD DROVE IT WITHOUT KNOWING THE FULL EXTENT OF THE ISSUE.
DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD IN MY 2016 JEEP WRANGLER UNLIMITED GOING DOWN A STRAIGHT STRETCH OF ROAD AT 45MPH ON A SUNNY DAY. THE TRACTION CONTROL SUDDENLY KICKED ON AND APPLIED THE BRAKES ONLY ON ONE SIDE OF THE VEHICLE AND TRIED TO PULL ME INTO THE CAR IN THE NEXT LANE TO MY RIGHT. DEALER COULD FIND NOTHING WRONG.
2016 JEEP WRANGLER UNLIMITED RHD. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND TRACTION LIGHT CAME ON WHILE DRIVING. RESTARTED THE VEHICLE AND TRACTION WENT OFF. CHECK ENGINE WENT OFF LATER THAT DAY, BUT CAME BACK ON. TRACTION WAS INTERMITTENT, BUT WOULD TURN OFF WHEN RESTARTED. NEXT DAY, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND TRACTION CAME ON AND TWICE WHILE MOVING THE ENGINE DIED. I LOST TOTAL CONTROL OF VEHICLE, BUT WAS GOING SLOW AT THE TIME. ONCE ON A CURVE AND THE OTHER TIME WHILE TURNING. SECOND TIME WAS TOWARD A DEEP DITCH, BUT STOPPED SHORT. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS. QUALITY MOTORS TRIED TO FIX ONCE. WILL TAKE BACK TOMORROW WHEN THEY COULD FIT IT IN.
I RENTED A JEEP WRANGLER UNLIMITED THROUGH ALAMO IN PUERTO RICO FOR 2 WEEKS. ON 5 OCCASIONS WHILE MY FOOT DEPRESSED THE BRAKE WITH FORCE, THE CAR SURGED FORWARD. MY FOOT WAS ONLY ON THE BRAKE. IN EACH INSTANCE, I WAS FORCED TO THROW THE CAR INTO PARK TO PREVENT THE VEHICLE FROM SURGING FORWARD. THIS CREATED A DANGEROUS CONDITION IN 3 INSTANCES, 2 WHERE I MIGHT HAVE HIT LARGER VEHICLES (ONE A FORESTRY TRUCK, ANOTHER A LARGE BOX TRUCK) ON NARROW MOUNTAIN ROADS, 1 WHERE I WAS AT THE EDGE OF PARKING PAD THAT WOULD HAVE RESULTED IN THE JEEP GOING DOWN A STEEP MOUNTAIN RAVINE.
HORN DOES NOT HONK WHEN DEPRESSED OR THERE MAY BE A DELAY TIL THE HORN ACTUALLY SOUNDS. AT TIMES IT DOES NOT EVEN HONK AT ALL. MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. PLEASE ADDRESS. THIS OCCURS WHETHER THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY OR MOVING. HAPPENS EVERY SINGLE TIME. I HAVE CHECKED ON FORUMS AND EVERYONE HAS THE SAME ISSUE.
HARD TOP LEAKS AROUND THE FREEDOM PANELS EVERYTIME IT RAINS CAUSING THE SEATS, FLOOR AND DASHBOARD TO GET WET.
MANUAL TRANSMISSION WILL NOT STAY IN REVERSE AND POPS OUT OF GEAR. WHEN BACKING UP YOUR HAVE TO HOLD IT IN WHICH TAKES ALOT OF FORCE BUT STILL POPS OUT 95% OF THE TIME. BEEN THIS WAY SINCE WE BOUGHT IT. ONLY 3500 MILES ON THE VEHICLE.
WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS ANYWHERE FROM 30 TO 80 THE STEERING WILL OSCILLATE FROM LEFT TO RIGHT AFTER ENCOUNTERING MINOR BUMPS IN THE ROAD. AT TIMES THE OSCILLATIONS ARE RATHER VIOLENT. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE I OWNED THE VEHICLE. IF YOU ARE NOT AWARE OF THE ISSUE ACCIDENTS COULD BE THE RESULT.
WHILE DRIVING ON CITY STREETS THE MANUAL TRANSMISSION'S SHIFT LEVER BECAME LOOSE MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO SHIFT INTO ANY GEAR. THE LEVER WOULD ROTATE 360 DEGREES AROUND ITS CENTER AND EVENTUALLY COME COMPLETELY OFF OF ITS MOUNT. WHEN ROTATED, THE OFFSET IN THE SHIFT LEVER BEING AT A NEW ANGLE WOULD LEAD TO SHIFTING BEING OBSTRUCTED BY THE DRIVER OR PASSENGER'S LEGS AND SEATS. AFTER COMING OFF OF ITS MOUNT WHILE STATIONARY GEAR SELECTION BECAME IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT REPAIR. DEALER WOULD EVENTUALLY COMPLETE A REPAIR UNDER WARRANTY. MY SON CAME HOME FROM SCHOOL TO GET HIS WALLET TO GO FILL UP HIS JEEP WHEN HE CAME OUT BACK OUTSIDE THE FRONT OF HIS JEEP WAS SMOKING, WHEN HE OPENED THE HOOD HE FOUND THE RADIATOR FAN ON FIRE. HE QUICKLY RAN AND GOT THE HOSE AND PUT OUT THE FIRE BUT IT CONTINUED TO SMOKE FOR ABOUT 5 MINS. THE JEEP WAS RUNNING PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY THE JEEP ONLY HAS ABOUT 4000 MILES ON IT THE AIR-CONDITIONING WAS ON. HE ONLY DROVE IT FROM SCHOOL ABOUT 1 MILE AWAY. WE HAVE NOT TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER YET. THE FANS CURRENTLY ARE NOT WORKING THE REST OF THE VEHICLE SEEMS TO BE FINE. I HAVE PICTURE AND A VIDEO I CAN TRY TO UP LOAD.
MY WIFE NOTICED 'HOOD FLUTTER' ON OUR JEEP RIGHT AFTER WE BOUGHT IN AND IMMEDIATELY FOUND THE 'RUGGED RIDGE HOOD CATCHES' ON AMAZON, ORDERED THEM (AT A COST OF $113.99 + TAX TO US) AND HAD ME INSTALL THEM, BEFORE WE LEFT LAS VEGAS FOR WISCONSIN TO RETURN HOME. WE WERE GOING ABOUT 75MPH TRAVELING FROM COLORADO SPRINGS TO LAS VEGAS, NV, ON I-25 AND I-40, AND EVEN THOUGH SHE IS LEGALLY BLIND SHE COULD SEE THE HOOD BOUNCING AROUND. IT SEEMED WORSE WHEN TRAVELING INTO A HEADWIND, BUT WAS STILL NOTICEABLE WITH A CROSSWIND. THE PROBLEM SEEMED TO BE THE RUBBER LATCHES THAT ARE USED TO HOLD THE JEEPS HOOD DOWN WERE STRETCHING ALLOWING THE HOOD TO MOVE ON OUR 2 DAY OLD JEEP.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE ATTEMPTING TO ACCELERATE AT 15 MPH, THE VEHICLE BECAME STUCK IN LOW GEAR WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER HOWEVER, THE FAILURE WAS UNDETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE FAILURE RECURRED THREE TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 725.
SINCE I HAVE HAD THE CHEMICAL, THE CRUDE CONTROL WILL WORK RITE ALONG FOR A FEW WEEKS, THEN ONE DAY IT WON'T TURN ON AND I WILL HAVE TO PUSH THE BUTTON OVER 20 TIMES TO GET IT TO WORK. THE CHEMICAL WAS IN MOTION WHILE TRYING TO DO THIS ON THE HIGHWAY. ALSO RECENTLY THE STERIO WILL NO LONGER CONNECT TO BLUETOOTH. BLUETOOTH WILL NOT WORK WILL DRIVING OR STATIONARY.

IT CASED ME TO ROLL BACK ABOUT 3' BEFOR I COULD HIT THE BRAKE ALMOST CAUSED A ACCIDENT. I THEN RESTARTED THE JEEP PLACED IT BACK IN DRIVE AND IT WOULDN'T MOVE! IT ACTED LIKE IT WAS IN NEUTRAL. I ALSO TRIED REVERSE STILL WOULDN'T DO NOTHING. SO I ROLLED TO A FLAT SPOT IN THE ROAD CHECK THE TRANS FLUID, IT WAS GOOD THEN TURNED IT OF CHECKED THE OIL, IT WAS GOOD TO. THEN STARTED IT BACK UP AND PUT IT IN DRIVE AND IT WAS WORKING FINE AGAIN!

ROOF LEAKS AND SOAKS CARPET ON PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR EVERYTIME IT IS PARKED IN THE RAIN OR SNOW AND CAUSES WINDOWS TO FOG UP BECAUSE OF MOISTURE IN THE COCKPIT AND CREATES A SAFETY PROBLEM NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE IN OUR COLD WISCONSIN CLIMATE , VEHICLE HAS BEEN AT DEALER TWICE NOW FOR THAT PROBLEM AND IT HAS LESS THAN 2000 MILES ON IT.

CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ON DASHBOARD, ENGINE NOISES AND NO ACCELERATION WHEN GAS PEDAL IS DEPRESSED ISSUES. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED WHEN HER HUSBAND DROVE THE VEHICLE, THE ENGINE LIGHT DID NOT ILLUMINATE. HOWEVER HE DID HAVE TO PUSH THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL MORE THAN USUAL. TWO WEEKS LATER, WHILE DRIVING AT A SPEED OF 40-45 MPH, THE CONSUMER HEARD A LOUD NOISE AND NOTICED THE RPM WAS AT 5,000 AND GOING TO 6,000. THE VEHICLE WAS SHAKING AND THE ENGINE WAS MAKING LOUD GRINDING NOISES. THE CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER. THEY STATED THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. TWO WEEKS LATER, AS BEFORE, THE ENGINE BECAME LOUD, THE RPM WENT TO 5,000 AND FOR THE SECOND TIME, THE NUMBER 1 SURROUNDED BY A SQUARE LIT UP ON THE DASH BOARD AFTER THE LETTER D. THE VEHICLE ONLY REACHED A SPEED OF 10-15 MPH. *JB
ROOF LEAKS EVERY TIME IT RAINS REAL HARD MY FLOOR BOARD FEELS UP WITH WATER FROM THE HARD TOP LETTING WATER LEAK IN.
The ABS module failed 18 months ago. Jeep has been telling me that it's on back order this whole time with no ETA. In the meantime it will not pass inspection and I have no antilock brakes.
ABS module reported to dealer in February, 2025..They said was safe to drive. Then April 2025 the module went out.-Part has been on backorder since March 2025. It was taken to Key Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Marianna in March 2025. Jeep would not steer properly, the brakes were not normal and all the warning lights on dash were on. I could not drive. .
