TAKATA RECALL: STILL AWAITING PSAN INFLATORS' REPLACEMENT. I HAVE CALLED THE DEALERSHIP REPEATEDLY TO NO AVAIL (MERCEDES-BENZ OF SOUTH CHARLOTTE, 950 NORTH POLK STREET, PINEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA 28134, (704) 889-4100). IF MY VEHICLE CONTAINS DEFECTIVE AIRBAGS, MY FAMILY COULD POTENTIALLY BE IN GRAVE DANGER.
FRONT RIGHT PARKING LAMP MELTED INTO HEADLIGHT FIXTURE. WAS TOLD MY MB DEALER YESTERDAY IT WAS DUE TO THE HEADLIGHT OVERHEATING AND I NEED TO PAY TO REPLACE ENTIRE HEADLIGHT $900.00 THEY HAD SIMILAR ISSUES WITH TAIL LIGHTS AND HAD A RECALL ON CARS TO REPLACE. MAYBE SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH FRONT LIGHT ALSO.,.

'TAKATA RECALL' I HAVE RECEIVED TWO NHTSA RECALL#16V-081 IN MAY 2016 AND NHTSA RECALL#16V-363 IN AUGUST 2016. I HAVE THE DEALER TWICE AND THEY STILL HAVE NO PARTS AVAILABLE TO REMEDY THIS RECALL.

TAKATA RECALL RECEIVED NOTIFICATION FROM MERCEDES DEALERSHIP MAY 2016 REGARDING SAFETY RECALL 2016020003 FOR DRIVER SIDE AIR-BAG MODULE. AS OF TODAY 10/25/17 I AM STILL WAITING FOR THIS CONDITION TO BE CORRECTED
TAKATA RECALL. I FIRST RECEIVED A LETTER FROM MERCEDES BENZ DATED MAY 2016. THEY INFORMED ME OF THE RECALL FOR TAKATA AIR BAGS. IT HAS BEEN ALMOST 2 1/2 YEARS SINCE THE FIRST LETTER AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO REMEDY THE SITUATION.
TARTING MAKING FAINT NOISE AT 60,000 MILES. BY 63,000 MILES, IT WAS A LITTLE LOUDER SO I TOOK IT IN FOR SERVICE. TRANSFER CASE AND TRANSMISSION NEED REPLACING. THIS IS A MERCEDES?? NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY BY 10,000 MILES, COME ON! SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT FOR MY A MERCEDES. THIS IS MY SECOND MERCEDES, WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN!!!
TAKATA RECALL I RECEIVED A SAFETY RECALL NOTICE BACK IN APRIL 2016 BECAUSE THE AIRBAGS WERE NOT PROPERLY DEPLOYING. I CALLED MD TODAY, SEPT. 6, 2017, BECAUSE I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM AND I WAS TOLD THAT THE PARTS ARE STILL NOT READY. I LIVE IN A STATE THAT IS HOT AND HUMID, WHICH EXPONENTIALLY INCREASES THE CHANCES OF AIRBAG MALFUNCTIONING.
TAKATA RECALL. I RECIEVED MAILING ALMOST 2 YEARS AGO AND IM TIRED OF WITING ON MY AIR BAGS TO BE REPLACED ON MY CAR. IT'S SCARY TO LOOK UP AND SEE HOW SO MAY LIVES ARE TAKEN BEHIND THIS MISTAKE THAT CAN BE FIXED. I'M READY FOR MY REPLACEMENT ON THE AIRBAGS OR RECALL THE ENTIRE CAR. MY LIFE AS WELL AS OTJERS LIVES ARE AT STAKE DAILY. YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TO FIX THIS BEFORE ANOTHER ACCIDENT AND/ OR DEATH HAPPENS. I PRAY THAT IT DOESN'T HAPPEN TO ME. I JUST WANT MY CAR FIXED.
AFTER BACKING OUT OF HANDICAP PARKING SPACE AND MOVING FORWARD AT A SLOW SPEED MY VEHICLE WAS REAR-ENDED, AT WHICH POINT THE VEHICLE FORCEFULLY ACCELERATED FORWARD INDEPENDENTLY WITHOUT WARNING AND CRASHED INTO ANOTHER PARKED VEHICLE (FORCEFULLY MOVING THIS VEHICLE APPROXIMATELY THREE FEET) THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO SPEED THROUGH THE HANDICAP PARKING LOT AS I CONTINUED TO BRAKE WITHOUT RESULTS OF STOPPING. THIS VEHICLE RAN THROUGH A STOP SIGN AND INTO THE FRONT ENTRANCE ROAD OF THE VA HOSPITAL.( THIS ROAD HAS HEAVY TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIAN USAGE) THE ONLY WAY TO STOP MY VEHICLE WAS TO JUMP THE CURB AND RUN INTO A TREE. I FEEL VERY FORTUNATE THAT MY VEHICLE WAS THE ONLY THING DAMAGED. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A DEVASTATING EVENT IF DISABLED WHEELCHAIR PERSONS OR PEDESTRIANS HAD BEEN IN THE PATH OF THIS OCCURRENCE. I AM REPORTING THIS TO SAY THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TO OTHER C300 2010 MERCEDES BENZ AND NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED AS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. THIS COULD CAUSE DEATHS. I HAVE A WITNESS TO MY BRAKE LIGHTS GOING ON AND OFF AS I TRIED TO STOP THIS CAR.
THE DOOR HANDLE IS BROKEN ON THE DRIVER SIDE. THE DRIVER CANNOT GET OUT RIGHTAWAY IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY. THE HANDLE WAS NOT FORCED, IT JUST START MOVING BY ITSELF. LOOKS LIFE THE CABLE IS NOT ATACHED. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. HOW COME NO BODY IS LOOKING AT THIS.

ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH TAKATA AIR BAG HAS NOT BEEN ADDRESSED.
TAKATA RECALL I'VE RECEIVED MULTIPLE NEW AVAILABILITY DATES FOR MY AIRBAG REPLACEMENTS SINCE 2016, BUT EACH TIME THE AVAILABILITY DATE IS PUSHED OUT. I'VE NOW BEEN STUCK WITH A CAR THAT IS UNSAFE AND UNSELLABLE DUE TO THESE PARTS NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR YEARS. THE NEW DATE IS NOW "UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME".
THERE ARE TWO RECALLS ASSOCIATED WITH MY MAKE AND MODEL MERCEDES. MERCEDES ACKNOWLEDGED THE "TAKATA" AIRBAG RECALL VIA A LETTER IN APRIL 2016. DESPITE RECEIVING REMINDERS THAT MY VEHICLE MAY REQUIRE IMMEDIATE REPAIR SERVICE AS PART OF A MANUFACTURER'S RECALL, NO REPLACEMENT HAS OCCURRED. I WANT TO KNOW IF IT IS SAFE TO CONTINUE TO DRIVE AROUND WITH THIS ISSUE?
TAKATA RECALL I'VE BEEN WAITING FOE 3 YEARS WITH A LOADED GUN POINTED AT MY CHEST CENTER MASS TO GET MY AIRBAG RECALL REPAIR ON A CAR THAT I BOUGHT FROM THE DEALER AS FULLY RECONDITIONED. WHEN IS THIS REPAIR ACTUALLY TAKE PLACE, BECAUSE TAKATA GOT OUT FROM UNDER THE FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY BY FILING BANKRUPTCY, AND REORGANIZING AND NOW THE NEW CORPORATION IS TAKING THEIR SWEET TIME MAKING A PROFIT ON EVERY RECALL PERFORMED, AND WE JUST HAVE TO WAIT AND HOPE OUR CARS DON'T EXPLODE AND SHOOT SHRAPNEL INTO OUR CHESTS. NOT WHY I BOUGHT A MERCEDES BENZ.
TAKATA RECALL CAR WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT. CAR WAS STATIONARY AT A STOP SIGN, REAR ENDED, PUSHED INTO CROSS TRAFFIC, HIT ANOTHER CAR, SPUN AROUND AND HIT A LIGHT POLE. AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY.
I WENT TO DRIVE MY CAR TO TEST MY NEW WHEELS I JUST PURCHASED THE DAY BEFORE. I PUT THE KEY IN, IT WOULD NOT START AND MY STEERING WHEEL IS LOCKED. I THOUGHT IT MAY BE MY KEY BUT AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH ONLINE, I FOUND OUT THAT IT'S NOT MY KEY AT ALL AND THAT IT'S THE ESL WHICH SEEMS TO BE A KNOWN ISSUES. THANK GOD MY CAR WAS IN THE GARAGE. I'M ASKING FOR MERCEDES-BENZ TO DO A RECALL SINCE THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE. I'VE ONLY HAD THIS VEHICLE FOR TWO MONTHS. THIS IS A DISAPPOINTMENT.

TAKATA RECALL- MY SON IS ABOUT TO GET HIS LICENSE ON JULY 11TH, HE WILL BE 16 ON JULY 6TH. WE BOUGHT HIM THIS MERCEDES BACK IN MARCH 2016. I AM AFRAID FOR HIM TO DRIVE IT WITH THE DEATH AND INJURIES TAKATA AIRBAGS HAVE CAUSE PEOPLE. HOWEVER, WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RECALL NOTICE TO GET IT REPAIRED/REPLACED. I CALLED MERCEDES WITH NO ANSWER FOR ME. I AM SCARED FOR HIS LIFE, HE IS A NEW DRIVER AND IF HE HITS SOMETHING AND THE AIRBAG DEPLOYS HE COULD DIE. THIS IS THE MOST INSANE THING I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH. I NEED AN ANSWER BETTER THAN I WILL GET A RECALL NOTICE FOR REPAIR/REPLACEMENT IN THE NEXT YEAR OR TWO. THIS IS URGENT. TAKATA AIRBAGS DRIVERS SIDE AND PASSENGER SIDE HAVE BEEN ON RECALL SINCE BEFORE FEBRUARY 2016. THE CAR LIVES IN HOUSTON, TEXAS, ONE OF THE MOST HUMID CLIMATES IN THE COUNTRY. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. ON THE CONTRARY, BASED ON SEVERAL DISCUSSIONS AND CALLS TO TWO LOCAL DEALERSHIPS, I FEEL LIKE NOTHING WILL EVER BE DONE. MY WIFE AND I ARE AFRAID TO DRIVE THE CAR WITH DEFECTIVE AIRBAGS AND HAVE HAD THEM DISCONNECTED.
TAKATA RECALL- MY CAR IS RECALLED AND I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO SCHEDULE A REPAIR WITH THE DEALER. THEY CLAIM THEY DO NOT HAVE REPLACEMENT PARTS. I HAVE CONTACTED THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER AND BOTH HAVE FAILED TO SCHEDULE A TIME FOR REPAIR.
I INSERTED THE KEY AND TRIED TO START THE ENGINE, BUT NOTHING HAPPENED. ALL LIGHTS OFF, NO WINDOW POWER. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THERE SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM WITH THE IGNITION SWITCH. A CAR WITH ONLY 60,000 MILES WITH A BAD IGNITION SWITCH?!!! THESE PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE VERY COMMON IN THE 2008-2012 MERCEDES BENZ.

TAKATA RECALL: AIRBAG FIX/REMEDY UNAVAILABLE, WHICH IS UNTIMELY AND CONTINUES TO PLACE THE DRIVER AND OCCUPANTS AT RISK. THIS IS DANGEROUS AND, THUS, UNACCEPTABLE.

ON FEB..11,2016 I RECEIVED A LETTER STATING THAT THERE WAS AS A RECALL ON MY VEHICLE FOR AIRBAG REPLACEMENT AND AGAIN ON MAY 25,2016 STATING THAT THE AIRBAG REPLACEMENT WAS STILL PENDING. I CONTACTED THE DEALER IN MOBILE, AL TODAY, NOV.29,2017. HE SAID , IT'S STILL PENDING , TAKATA HAS NOT RELEASED THE GO AHEAD TO REPLACE AIRBAG. THERE HAS BEEN ANY ACCIDENTS AT THIS TIME. I'M FILLING OUT FORM TO HAVE AIRBAG REPLACED.
