2015 NISSAN ALTIMA, WITH 21,000 MILES. CONSUMER CONSTANTLY HEARD LOUD WHINING FROM TRANSMISSION WHEN FIRST OPERATED AND GOT PROGRESSIVELY WORSE WHEN MERGING ON FREEWAY. COMPLAINED TO DEALERSHIP, BROUGHT CAR FOR OIL CHANGE AND LEFT WITH A RENTAL CAR. 4 DAYS LATER RECEIVED A CALL FROM DEALERSHIP THAT THEY ARE GOING TO REPLACE THE WHOLE TRANSMISSION.
PASSENGER FRONT AIRBAG INTERMITTENTLY DEACTIVATES EVEN WITH A 120 POUND ADULT SITTING IN THE SEAT. WARNING LIGHT THAT THE AIR BAG IS DEACTIVATED COMES ON. ON OTHER RANDOM TRIPS THE AIR BAG APPEARS TO BE ARMED, WITH NO WARNING LIGHT. CAR IS A RENTAL VEHICLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE HOOD UNLATCHED INDEPENDENTLY. THE ENTIRE WINDSHIELD SHATTERED AND SMALL PIECES OF GLASS EMITTED INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE HOOD LID WAS COMPLETELY DAMAGED AND BOTH ARM LIFT SUPPORTS FRACTURED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS MANEUVERED SAFELY TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE TO THE RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V029000 (LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000.
WHEN STATIONARY AND DRIVING, THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG SAYS OFF WHEN MY WIFE IS SITTING IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. SHE WEIGHS 106 LBS. THE LIGHT WILL GO OFF EVENTUALLY BUT COMES ON ALL THE TIME SHE IS SITTING IN THE SEAT. IT GOES ON WHETHER ON A CITY STREET OR HIGHWAY AT ANY SPEED.
THE PASSENGER "AIR BAG LIGHT" DOES NOT GO OUT WHEN I HAVE AN ADULT PASSENGER IN THE CAR. THIS HAS BEEN A CONTINUOUS PROBLEM SINCE I PURCHASED THE CAR NISSAN DEALERSHIP SAYS THERE IS NO PROBLEM INDICATED WHEN TESTED. NISSAN REGIONAL OFFICE SAYS THEY ARE CHECKING INTO IT AT THIS TIME AND WILL NOT AUTHORIZE ANY REPAIRS, AND IF I CONTINUE TO HAVE A PROBLEM, GO TO THE DEALERSHIP MEANWHILE THE "PASSENGER AIR BAG LIGHT" REMAINS ON WHEN I HAVE A PASSENGER IN THE SEAT. I CAN NOT GET ANY PROPER RESPONSE FROM NISSAN.
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Altima. The contact stated that while driving at night, the headlights were very dim, making it difficult to see the roadway. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the headlamps needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 115,000.
MY ALTIMA IS ONLY 2 MONTHS OLD AND DID NOT START 4X ALREADY. IT SEEMS TO DO THIS FIRST THING IN THE MORNING WHEN THE CAR IS COLD. MY STEERING WHEEL IS VIBRATING CONSTANTLY AND I CAN FEEL A VIBRATION WITH MY FOOT ON THE ACCELERATOR. THERE IS A LOUD NOISE LIKE A CONSTANT DENTIST DRILL UNDER MY HOOD THAT IS LOUDER EVERY TIME I TURN. THE DEALERSHIP JUST REPLACED MY POWER STEERING PUMP AND THERE IS NO CHANGE! MY PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON WHEN THERE IS A PASSENGER IN THE CAR. IT WILL GO OFF DURING DRIVE TIME. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF I HAVE MY PURSE, A BAG, HEAVY BOOKS OR A PERSON-IT SPORADICALLY GOES OFF AND ON WHILE I AM DRIVING. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE KNOWING THE AIRBAG WILL NOT DEPLOY IN A CRASH! LITHIA NISSAN HAS CHECKED THE SENSOR, BUT IT IS STILL DOING IT. I OWNED A 2008 ALTIMA AND 2011 ALTIMA THAT NEVER REQUIRED SERVICE OTHER THAN OIL CHANGES AND AIR IN MY TIRES. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS 2015 PIECE OF JUNK! I CAN HEAR WIND NOISE NO MATTER WHAT SPEED I AM DRIVING. I FEEL LIKE I AM IN A CRASH TEST EVERY TIME I SLOW DOWN. NISSAN TECH SAID IT IS THE NEW CVT TRANSMISSION. HONDA, LEXUS, TOYOTA, MERCEDES AND AUDI HAVE CVT AND IT IS A SMOOTH RIDE! WHY DOES NISSAN CVT JERK YOU AROUND? THE CAR IS SO CHEAPLY MADE THE SPEAKERS ARE POPPED UP AND PAINT IS CHIPPING. I HAVE REPORTED MY ISSUES TO NISSAN CORP. AND BBB. THE NEWEST ISSUE IS THE RPM REV UP AS I SIT AT RED LIGHTS. I WANT NISSAN TO REBUY THIS CAR BACK!

I FEEL WHILE I'M DRIVING THE CAR WANT TO GO LEFT OR FEEL LIKE IT'S ABOUT TO LOOSE CONTROL OF THE CAR. TROUBLE ACCELERATING
I WAS AT THE TOP OF THE STREET WHEN I TRIED TO PRESS ON THE BRAKES TO SLOW DOWN BECAUSE OF A RED LIGHT AHEAD. THE BRAKES MALFUNCTIONED AND MY CAR ACCELERATED FASTER. I THEN STEPPED ON MY E-BRAKES AND MY CAR CONTINUED TO GO FASTER INSTEAD OF SLOWING DOWN. THE NEXT THING I REMEMBER IS REAR ENDING THE BACK OF A SUV. I HAVE ANTI-LOCK BRAKES AND THEY DID NOT WORK EITHER. I WAS ABOUT 200FT AWAY FROM THIS VEHICLE SO I HAS PLENTY OF SPACE AND TIME TO STOP MY CAR BUT INSTEAD MY CAR WENT FASTER DESPITE SLAMMING ON BOTH THE BRAKES AND E-BRAKES. MY CAR IS NOW TOTALED AND AM CURRENTLY SUFFERING INJURIES TO MY HAND, NECK AND BACK.
THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT SEAT SOMETIMES WILL NOT DETECT AN ADULT OCCUPYING THE SEAT AND DISABLES THE AIR BAG FOR THAT PASSENGER. ADULTS RANGING IN WEIGHTS FROM 115 POUNDS TO 120 POUNDS. IT APPEARS LIKE A MANUFACTURING DEFECT.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE AIR BAG SENSOR FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 16,665.
I HAVE SPENT OVER 500 ON LIGHTS BULBS AND LIGHTING ON THIS ALTIMA 2015 '..THE HEADLIGHTS OR THE BULBS ARE TRASH THERE R VERY VERY VERY DIM FEW MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE,I WAS TOLD TO CHANGE,REPLACE,RESTORATION ITS LIKE IM GETTING THE RUN AROUND AND NOT FIX THE PROBLEM AND ITS RIDICULOUS TO PRODUCE POOR LIGHTING ON A CAR AND SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE IMMEDIATELY NOW!! I AGREE WITH OTHERS ABOUT NISSAN NEEDING TO REPURCHASE/COMPENSATE FOR ALL THE ISSUES.THIS VEHICLE FEELS VERY UNSAFE AND THEY JUST PUSH IT ALL OFF. THE POWER STEERING MAKES VARYING LOUD,ANNOYING,DISTRACTING, WHINING NOISES THE ENTIRE TIME YOU DRIVE IT. THE CAR HESITATES AND JERKS WHILE DRIVING OR TRYING TO DRIVE FROM A STOP WHICH FEELS VERY UNSAFE AND MAKES ME WORRY ABOUT BEING HIT. THERE ARE SO MANY PROBLEMS THAT ARE UNSAFE WITH THE 2015 ALTIMA AND NISSAN REFUSES TO ADMIT THEM AND CONSTANTLY SAYS "EVERYTHING IS NORMAL" OR 'ITS THE WAY THAT TRANSMISSION WORKS". A HUGE WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY TRYING TO DEAL WITH NISSAN. THEY ALSO KEPT INSISTING TO ME THAT THE AIRBAG LIGHT COMING ON WHILE A GROWN ADULT WAS SEATED WAS "NORMAL" AS WELL UNTIL ALL OF A SUDDEN THERE WAS A RECALL...JUST TO SHOW HOW THEY LIE AND COVER EVERYTHING UP .I BOUGHT THIS CAR BRAND NEW IN DECEMBER 2015 AND HAVE HAD THESE ISSUES SINCE. HAVE BEEN TO DEALERSHIP MANY TIMES FOR THE ISSUES AS WELL AS HAVING A NISSAN TECH COME TO ASSESS BUT OF COURSE EVERYONE STICKS TOGETHER AND STATES IT "ALL NORMAL".THERE ARE ALSO PROBLEMS THAT ARE NOT SAFETY ISSUES BUT VALUE ISSUES SUCH AS THE XM SERVICE THAT IS HORRIBLE BUT YOU PAY FOR AND THE CHEAP BUILD OF THE VEHICLE/PAINT.
WHEN MY WIFE HAS HER HEARING AID ON THE KEYLESS CAR WILL NOT START. WHEN I AM PICKING HER UP AND SHE GETS IN THE CAR, THE DASH FLASHES A WARNING AND SAYS NO KEY DETECTED. THE CAR REMAINS ON BUT WILL NOT RESTART IN AN EMERGENCY UNLESS SHE GETS OUT. I AM A SENIOR, HER HEARING AID IS MODERN AND CONFORMS TO FCC REG. HELP.
TAKATA RECALL - AIRBAG FAILED TO DEPLOY. I WAS COMPLETELY STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT WHEN ANOTHER VEHICLE, TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 45 - 50 MPH, REAR-ENDED ME.
NISSAN ALTIMA 4D SEDAN 2.5S FELT AND LOOKED GREAT AT 17 ODOMETER READINGS. OVERTIME IT HAS LOST POWER AND HAS MADE ME HAVE A ROUGH TIME ON HIGHWAY THAN USUAL. GOING AT SPEEDS OF 55-75+ ALL SEATS FEEL AS IF THEY'RE GOING TO DETACH FROM THE BOTTOM COMPARTMENT. WHEELS ON THIS SEDAN ARE AT RECOMMENDED PSI 35-40 YET GOING AT 55-75 SPEEDS IT FEELS AS IF I'M RIDING A HORSE WITH DIFFERENT TYPES OF MEASURES ON EACH SIDE. FRONT WINDOW ALONG WITH REAR END WINDOW HAVE BOTH BEEN DISLOCATED FROM ITS ORIGINAL POSITION. MY CAR IS SLOWLY BREAKING DOWN AT 7.2K MILES BRAND NEW. RECENTLY WENT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP CAR LOAN WAS MADE AND OBVIOUSLY EVERYTHING WAS FINE. I'M NOT GOING TO DEAL WITH THEIR LITTLE GAME. IT'S A MATTER OF TIME UNTIL THE BODY ON THIS SEDAN BREAKS APART. I HAVE HAD NO CAR ACCIDENTS, PROBLEMS BEGAN AS FIRST OIL CHANGE WAS PERFORMED NOV 11 2015. IT'S BECOMING VERY DIFFICULT TO MANAGE VEHICLE ON HIGHWAY AS IT GOES LEFT OR RIGHT AS WIND HITS FRONT/REAR. HAVE PERSONALLY TRIED FIGURING OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS HAVE NOTICED A LOT OF BLACK GOO REAR AREA BY TIRES, FRONT END, UNDER BACK SEATS, UNDER PASSENGER AND DRIVER SEAT. AT TIMES I FEEL AS IF THE RIGHT SIDE IS SUSPENDED A BIT MORE THAN THE LEFT, AND VISE VERSA. NOISE LEVEL HAS INCREASED SIGNIFICANTLY WITH ALL WINDOWS AND DOORS CLOSED. SOMETHINGS DEFINITELY WRONG WITH THE STRUCTURE OF THIS VEHICLE NHTSA, I'M ASKING FOR AN INVESTIGATION HELPING ME AND OTHERS WITH THIS PROBLEM.

I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW NISSAN ALTIMA 2015 CAR. MY CAR HAS BEEN HAVING ISSUES. RIGHT NOW, ITS MASS AIR FLOW (MAF) SENSOR FAILED WHICH HAD CAUSED SAFETY CONCERNS INCLUDING DRIVABILITY PROBLEMS. THE CAR AT TIMES DIES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND ITS HARD TO CONTROL THE CAR. I HAVE INFANTS IN MY CAR AND I FEEL IT IS NOT SAFE FOR A BRAND NEW CAR TO HAVE ISSUES. ACCORDING TO MY DEALER MAF SENSOR IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH NISSAN CARS. TWO DAYS AGO I NEARLY HAD AN ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE.
THE PASSENGER AIRBAG SENSOR OCCASIONALLY MALFUNCTIONS AND THE "AIR BAG OFF" LIGHT WILL ILLUMINATE WHEN THE PASSENGER SEAT IS INDEED OCCUPIED BY AN ADULT. THIS HAPPENS APPROXIMATELY 10% OF THE TIME THE SEAT IS OCCUPIED. THIS IS A COMMONLY RECURRING COMPLAINT ON THE NHTSA SITE. NISSAN HAS RECALLED APPROXIMATELY 140 ALTIMAS, BUT MINE WAS NOT IN THIS GROUP AFTER RUNNING MY VIN.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER AT LEAST THREE TIMES DUE TO THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE AND NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER WERE UNKNOWN.
THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE VERY DIM AND THE DRIVER IS UNABLE TO SEE MORE THAN 10-15 FEET IN FRONT MAKING IT NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO NAVIGATE THE VEHICLE AT NIGHT TIME. A WRITTEN COMPLAINT WAS SENT DIRECTLY TO NISSAN WITH NO RESPONSE FOR THIS ISSUE. I SPOKE WITH THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND WAS TOLD THIS IS THE NATURE OF PROJECTOR LIGHTS. THE CAR WAS PURCHASED NEW AND HAS BEEN AN ISSUE FOR QUITE SOME TIME. IT IS TIME THAT I SPEAK UP BECAUSE THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN AND I FEAR FOR MY FAMILY'S WELL BEING WHEN THEY DRIVE AT NIGHT. I NOTICED THERE ARE MANY COMPLAINTS ON THIS SITE AS WELL AS THE INTERNET FOR THE SAME ISSUE. THE MANUFACTURER SHOULD CONSIDER A RECALL/ REPAIR OF THIS ISSUE BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT OR WORSE DUE TO LACK OF ADEQUATE LIGHTING AT NIGHT.

THE FAILURE RECURRED EACH TIME THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE ABNORMAL NOISE WAS THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING AND THAT THE VEHICLE WAS FUNCTIONING AS DESIGNED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26.
VEHICLE GETS 28 MPH ON HIGHWAY FOR LONG DISTANCE TRAVEL. VEHICLE IS ADVERTISE TO GET 36 ON HIGHWAY. TWO TRIPS OF 9 TO 10 HOURS ON HIGHWAY (NON-MOUNTAIN)SHOWS 28 MPH. THIRD TRIP 4.5 HOURS SHOWS 28 MPH ON HIGHWAY. VEHICLE GETS THE SAME 28 MPH CITY. EXTREMELY POOR MILEAGE ON HIGHWAY. I HAVE CONTINUOUSLY REPORTED THIS PROBLEM TO NISSAN DEALERSHIP,AND WAS TOLD BY SERVICE MANAGER THE COMPUTER HAD TO CATCH UP WITH THE CAR.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT COULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4,500. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
FROM TIME TO TIME THE WARNING LIGHT THAT STATES THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAG IS NOT WORKING COMES ON. WHEN THIS OCCURED THE PASSENGERE WAS AN ADULT AT A WEIGHT GREATER THAN 150 POUNDS. THE ONLY WAY TO GET THE LIGHT TO GO OFF AND HAVE THE AIR BAG WORK WAS TO TURN THE CAR OFF AND THEN START IT AGAIN. THIS HAS BEEN BACK TO THE DEALER AND THEY CAN FIND NOTHING WRONG AND NISSAN WILL NOT DO ANYTHING. THIS HAPPENED TOO ON AN A 2013 MODEL OF THE ALTIMA AS WELL. NO ONE WAS HURT - THE AIR BAG DID NOT OPEN, JUST THIS SUPPLEMENTAL SYSTEM STATED THAT IT WAS NOT WORKING..
I PURCHASED MY 2015 NISSAN ALTIMA BRAND NEW FROM THE DEALER. IN SEPT 2015 AT 25,000 MILES, WHILE DRIVING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREEWAY, THE CAR SLOW DOWN AS IF I WAS DRIVING IN A LOW GEAR. THE RPM WENT UP, BUT THE CAR IS MOVING VERY SLOW. I STOP THE CAR AND CALLED THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. THEY TOLD ME TO STOP AND PARK THE CAR THEN RESTARTED THE CAR AFTER GIVING IT SERVAL MINS OF COOLING DOWN. I TOOK THE CAR THE SERVICE THE NEXT DAY, THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. I CONTINUE TO DRIVE THE CAR FOR ANOTHER SIX OR SO MONTHS THEN THE SAME HAPPENED AGAIN. I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT, NO PROBLEM WAS FOUND AGAIN. COUPLE MONTHS LATER, THE CAR STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. I TOOK THE CAR IN, STILL NO PROBLEM WS FOUND. THEY SAID THEY CAN'T MIMIC THE PROBLEM AND ASKED THAT I CONTIUE TO DRIVE AND STOP AND PARK IF THE PROBLEM ARISE. I TOLD THE SUPERVISOR/MANAGER AT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT THAT I DON'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING MY FAMILY AROUND IN A CAR THAT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD BUT CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG. I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THE CAR, BUT IT HAS TO DO WITH TRANSIMITION BECAUSE OF THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. I FELT THAT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS PROLONGING THE REAL PROBLEM BECAUSE THE CAR IS STILL UNDER THE WARRANITY, AND I FELT THAT THE PROBLEM WILL BE DISCOVER ONCE IT'S OUT OF THE WARRNITY COVERAGE. I HAVE TWO MAJOR CONCERNS: 1. I AM WORRY FOR THE SAFETY OF MY FAMILY WHEN I AM DRIVING THEM AROUND THE CAR THAT CAN STOP ANYTIME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND CAUSE THE ACCIDENT. 2.I AM WORRY, I'LL BE MAKING A PAYMENT FOR A CAR THAT I CAN'T DRIVE ONCE IT IS NO LONGER BE COVER UNDER THE WARRANITY AND IT WILL COSTS THOUSAND OF DOLLARS TO GET IT FIX.
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS DANGEROUSLY LOW LIGHT LEVELS WHILE DRIVING DURING NIGHT TIME CONDITIONS. HIGH BEAMS ARE ALMOST ALWAYS USED TO DRIVE AT NIGHT, AS THE CARS LOW BEAMS ARE UNFIT TO DRIVE. CONTACTED MANUFACTURER, SUPPOSEDLY DID AN INVESTIGATION WITH THE DEALER. THEY DIDN'T EVEN CONTACT THE CORRECT DEALER ABOUT THE HEADLIGHT ISSUE.
THE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON WHILE THE VEHICLE IS MOVING AND WHILE THERE IS AN ADULT IN THE SEAT. THE DEALERSHIP CHECKED THE SYSTEM AND STATED THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS DETECTED. THE SYSTEM HAS CONTINUED TO MALFUNCTION. THE CONCERN IS THE BAGS WON'T DEPLOY WHEN NEEDED.

NISSAN ALTIMA 2015 PURCHASED ON 8/15/15 WITH 6 MILES ON THE ENGINE. ON 8/19/15 CAR WAS DEAD WITHOUT POWER. BATTERY WAS REPLACED AND TWO DAYS LATER IT STARTED POWERING OFF AGAIN AS THE VEHICLE WAS WARMING UP, AND AS I WAS IDLE AT RED LIGHTS. HAS TURNED OFF 6 TIMES TOTAL SINCE PURCHASING CAR 17 DAYS AGO. CALLED NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND FINANCE WHICH AUTHORIZED RETURN OF THE VEHICLE. DEALERSHIP DID NOT COMPLY STATING THAT I HAD TO MAKE REASONABLE ATTEMPTS TO REPAIR PER THE LEMON LAW. DO NOT PURCHASE NISSAN, THEY HAVE WORKED THE LOOPHOLES TO GO AGAINST THE CONSUMER, PROTECT THEMSELVES, AND NOT CREATE RECALLS FOR THIS. OTHER COMPETITOR DEALERSHIPS ACCEPT RETURNS ON VEHICLE MALFUNCTIONS WITHIN 30 - 60 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE. NISSAN DOES NOT OFFER THIS SAME OPTION BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEIR PRODUCTS HAVE FAULTS.

HOWEVER, WHEN I TOOK MY CAR IN FOR IT'S FIRST SERVICE APPOINTMENT AT EDISON NISSAN DEALERSHIP (04/21/2015), THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN REPORTED THAT THE RECALL WAS ADDRESSED AND SERVICED. TODAY ON 08/10/2015, THE HOOD POPPED OPEN AND I AM UNABLE TO CLOSE IT. I HAVE TRIED TO CONTACT THE DEALERSHIP TO SET UP A REPAIR, BUT NO SERVICE MANAGERS OR STORE MANAGERS WERE AVAILABLE TO DISCUSS MY CONCERNS AND THE REPRESENTATIVE WAS UNABLE TO SET UP A COURTESY LOANER CAR FOR ME TOMORROW, WHICH WOULD ALLOW ME TO DROP OFF MY CAR FOR REPAIR AND STILL GET TO WORK.

FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAG LIGHT ON DASH REMAINS ON, IN THE "OFF" LIT POSITION EVEN WITH A PASSENGER RIDING IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. THE PROBLEM COMES AND GOES INTERMITTENTLY. SOMETIMES IT IS ON AND SOMETIMES IT IS OFF NO MATTER IF YOU ARE ON A CITY STREET OR GOING 60 MPH DOWN A HIGHWAY.
THE GAS TANK HAD A LEAK AT THE TOP OF THE TANK UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE, SO I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP BUT THEY SAID THIS WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER THE VEHICLE WARRANTY. THE DEALERSHIP IS CLAIMING THAT IT COULD HAVE BEEN A ROCK THAT CAUSED THE TINY HOLE. THE HOLE IS LOCATED AT THE TOP OF THE GAS TANK, AT AN ANGLE, JUST BELOW THE SEAL WITH VERY LITTLE SPACE BETWEEN THE GAS TANK AND THE FRAME OF THE VEHICLE. THERE WAS NO OTHER PHYSICAL DAMAGE TO THE GAS TANK OTHER THAN THE TINY HOLE, WHICH SHOWS THAT I DIDN'T RUN OVER OR HIT ANYTHING. THE DEALERSHIP COULDN'T EXPLAIN WHY THERE WAS A SMALL HOLE BUT NO OTHER DAMAGE, OTHER THAN THE POSSIBILITY OF IT BEING CAUSED BY A ROCK, BUT THEY DIDN'T SEEM CONFIDENT IN THEIR EVALUATION. IT TOOK THEM MAYBE 15 MINUTES TO LOOK AT IT AND SAY IT WAS USER FAULT. IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE BECAUSE WHILE DRIVING 30-35 MPH, SHOULDN'T THE GAS TANK BE ABLE TO WITHSTAND A ROCK HITTING THE TANK, INSTEAD OF CAUSING A TINY PUNCTURE AT THE TOP? ALSO, WOULDN'T IT MAKE MORE SENSE IF THIS HOLE APPEARED ON THE BOTTOM OF THE GAS TANK INSTEAD OF THE TOP, BECAUSE THE BOTTOM OF THE GAS TANK IS MORE EXPOSED TO THE ELEMENTS ON THE ROAD/STREETS? THIS WORRIES ME BECAUSE IF SUCH LIGHT PRESSURE CAN CAUSE THE FUEL TANK TO PUNCTURE, WOULDN'T THIS BE A SAFETY HAZARD?

WASHER SOLVENT WAL-MART BRAND BUG REMOVER TYPE ADDED TO WASHER TANK, WITHIN TWO WEEKS WASHER SYSTEM PLUGGED AND IT WAS FOUND THAT BLACK SLIME (MOLD) WAS IN THE TANK. WASHER SOLVENT BOTTLE MADE BY SPLASH PRODUCTS ALSO HAD BLACK MOLD LIKE SLIME IN IT. REPORTED TO THE STORE AND CORPORATE WAS ADVISED AND NO ONE FROM THE MANUFACTURER HAS CONTACTED THE CUSTOMER TO RESOLVE THIS. CORPORATE NOTED THAT ANOTHER COMPLAINT APPEARED OF THE SAME PROBLEM IN ANOTHER STATE.
THE POWER STEERING ON MY 2015 ALTIMA IS VERY HARD TO TURN. THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE POWER STEERING PUMP TWICE AND REPLACED THE FLUID AND THE STEERING WHEEL IS STILL VERY HARD TO TURN. THE POWER STEERING INDICATOR LIGHT IS NOW ON AND I STILL CAN'T TURN THE STEERING WHEEL. THIS IS A VERY UNSAFE CONDITION THAT NISSAN SHOULD RECALL AND REPAIR. THIS CAR HAS 5200 MILES ON IT AND THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. THE CAR ALSO HAS A VERY HIGH PITCHED WHINE NOISE THAT IS VERY ANNOYING. WE PREVIOUSLY OWNED TOYOTA CAMRYS AND I'D NISSAN DON'T TAKE CARE IF THIS PROBLEM I WILL NOT REFER THEM TO ANYBODY AND GO BACK TO TOYOTA.

I DON'T FEEL IT IS SAFE TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE IN ITS CURRENT CONDITION AND IT'S THE ONLY VEHICLE WE OWN.

I DROVE THIS RENTAL CAR AND PARKED IT INSIDE MY DETACHED GARAGE AT 7:30 PM. I NEGLECTED TO PUSH THE START/STOP BUTTON UPON EXITING THE CAR. CONSEQUENTLY, THE CAR CONTINUED TO RUN. AT 10:30 PM, NEEDING A TOOL, I WENT BACK AND OPENED THE GARAGE DOOR. A RUSH OF HOT AIR HIT ME IN THE FACE. TO MY HORROR, I REALIZED THAT I DID NOT SHUT THE CAR OFF. GARAGE TEMPERATURE HAD TO BE ABOUT 120 DEGREES. WHO KNOWS WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED, HAD THE CAR RUN ALL NIGHT. I THINK THERE'S A SIMPLE EASY INEXPENSIVE FIX TO THIS. SOLUTION:REQUIRE ALL AUTO MANUFACTURERS, UTILIZING THE KEYLESS IGNITION OPTION, TO, MANDATORALY, EQUIP ALL VEHICLES WITH AN AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF IF A CAR IDLES IN PARK (TRANSMISSION SELLECTION) FOR MORE THAN 20 MINUTES. THIS SAFETY OPTION SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO BE OVER RIDDEN BY CUSTOMER. I'M JUST THANKFUL THAT MY GARAGE WAS DETACHED. CARBON MONOXIDE DEATHS VIA KEYLESS IGNITION ARE EASILY AVOIDABLE.
THE DRIVER'S SIDE BLIND SPOT WARNING LIGHT CONSTANTLY GOES ON & OFF. IT HAS ALWAYS DONE THIS & DEALERSHIP CANNOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. THE PASSENGER SIDE HAS DONE IT IN THE PAST BUT I HAVEN'T NOTICED IT LATELY. IT IS VERY ANNOYING & NOW I TURN THE SYSTEM OFF MOST OF THE TIME.
