WHILE DRIVING I HEARD A POP AND THE DRIVERS SIDE SEAT DROPPED DOWN AND BEGAN TO ROCK BACK AND FORTH. I BROUGHT MY CAR INTO THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD THE SEAT FRAME BRACKET WAS BROKEN AND WAS NOT A COVERED REPAIR (NOT IN WARRANTY) AND WOULD COST APPROXIMATELY $800 FOR THE PART, AS THE BRACKET WOULD ONLY BE SOLD AS PART OF THE ENTIRE MOTOR ASSEMBLY. *TR
MY 06 MURANO SL BEGAN TO LOSE PRESSURE ON THE GAS PEDAL AND STALL. AT FIRST IT FELT LIKE SOMEONE HAD BUMPED INTO ME, BUT AFTER NOTICING THAT THE CAR BEHIND ME HAD NOT. I TRIED TO MOVE ON WITH THE TRAFFIC. I PUT ON MY HAZARDS AND CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP BUT WAS NOT ABLE TO ACCELERATE BY USING THE GAS PEDAL. THEN MY VEHICLE BEGAN TO DRIVE ON ITS OWN LUCKY FOR ME THE TRAFFIC IN FRONT OF ME BEGAN TO MOVE. THE VEHICLE CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY WHILE I TRIED TO MOVE OVER TO THE EMERGENCY LANE. I PLACE THE VEHICLE IN PARK AND THEN IN DRIVE. WHEN I PRESSED ON THE GAS PEDAL IT WOULD NOT MOVE ONCE AGAIN EVEN WHEN PRESSING THE PEDAL TO THE FLOOR. I TRIED TO MOVE THE VEHICLE WHILE IN THE LOWER GEAR AND SECOND GEAR JUST TO GET OUT THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY AND IT STILL WOULD NOT MOVE. THEN OUT OF KNOW WHERE IT BEGAN TO DRIVE ON ITS OWN AGAIN WITHOUT ME PRESSING ON THE GAS PEDAL. THAT ALLOWED ME TO MAKE IT OVER TO THE EMERGENCY LANE. AGAIN LUCKY FOR ME I WAS ABLE TO MAKE MY WAY THROUGH THE STAND STILL TRAFFIC. ONCE IN THE EMERGENCY LANE THE VEHICLE STOPPED. I PUT IT IN PARK THEN PRESSED ON THE GAS PEDAL AND THE ENGINE WOULD REV UP. THEN I THOUGHT OK IT WILL MOVE NOW, BUT THEN THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO DRIVE ITSELF IN REVERSE WHILE IN THE DRIVE POSITION. I CALLED MY MOTOR CLUB AND HAD TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT TWO OF MY TRANSMISSION HOSES BLEW AND THE VEHICLE LOST ALL ITS FLUID AND IT WOULD COST ME $711 TO FIX THIS PROBLEM NOT INCLUDING ANY DAMAGE TO THE TRANSMISSION. NOW THE DEALERSHIP IS TRYING TO SAY THAT I HAVE A LEAK AT MY ENGINE RUBBER O RING. AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT MY VEHICLE HAS 82K MILES. ALTHOUGH I HAVE QUITE A FEW MILES ON MY VEHICLE I HAVE MAINTAINED ALL OF MY REQUIRED MAINTENANCE AS SCHEDULED. SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT THE VEHICLE STALLING AND DRIVING ON ITS OWN. I HAD NO WARNING. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION NOT HAVING CONTROL OVER THE VEHICLE. *TR
BOTH VISORS ON MY 2006 NISSAN MURANO HAVE STOPPED WORKING PROPERLY AND BECOME A SAFETY HAZARD. THIS VEHICLE IS ONLY ABOUT 5 YEARS OLD AND ALREADY BOTH VISORS HAVE LOST THEIR TENSION CAUSING THEM TO FALL DOWN WHILE DRIVING, BLOCKING THE VIEW OF THE DRIVER. ALSO THEY WILL NOT STAY WHERE THEY ARE PLACED, SO THEY DO NOT SERVE THE PURPOSE OF BLOCKING THE SUN MAKING THEM MORE HAZARDOUS. WHILE DRIVING MY 2006 MURANO, I WENT OVER A SET OF TRAIN TRACKS WHICH IS QUICKLY FOLLOWED BY AN INTERSECTION. JUST BEFORE I HIT THE TRACKS, A CAR PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF ME FROM THE UPCOMING INTERSECTION. AS I WENT OVER THE TRACKS APPLYING THE BRAKES, THE DRIVERS SIDE SUNVISOR DROPPED OBSTRUCTING MY VIEW OF TRAFFIC. I NEARLY MISSED AN ACCIDENT. THE SUNVISOR FALLING INTO THE DRIVERS VIEW AT RANDOM IS A DEFINITE PROBLEM. I HAVE SEARCHED THE FORUMS ONLINE AND FOUND THIS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM FOR THE SUNVISORS TO FAIL. A REPLACEMENT AT THE DEALER IS ABOUT $500. NISSAN DOES NOT SEE THE SAFETY ISSUE IN THIS AND WILL NOT REPLACE THE DANGEROUS SUNVISORS ONCE OUT OF THE 3 YEAR 36000 MILE WARRANTY. MINE FAILED AT 3 YEARS AND 2 MONTHS, WITH 32000 MILES ON THE VEHICLE. I TELL YOU ABOUT THE ONE TIME I ALMOST WAS IN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF THE SUNVISOR, BUT IT FALLS DOWN IN MY FACE ON A REGULAR BASIS. ABOUT EVERY 20 OR SO MINUTES OF DRIVING. NISSAN NEEDS TO RECALL THEIR DANGEROUS SUNVISORS, THEY CAN DROP DOWN IN THE DRIVERS VIEW AT ANY TIME. I NEARLY HIT A LADY IN THE DRIVERS DOOR. *TR
I OWN A 2006 NISSAN MURANO WITH APPROXIMATELY 105,000 MILES. I WEIGH 160 POUNDS AND DO 95% OF MY DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY. WHILE DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY, THE FRAME SUPPORTING THE DRIVER SEAT CRACKED CAUSING THE SEAT TO BECOME UNSTABLE AND CREATING A HAZARDOUS SITUATION. AS A RESULT, I HAVE TO KEEP THE SEAT IN THE LOWEST POSSIBLE POSITION, OTHERWISE IT BECOMES HIGHLY UNSTABLE. THE DEALER ESTIMATED THE REPAIRS AT $1,035. THE RESULT OF MY RESEARCH OF THIS DEFECT DISCLOSED THAT IT IS A FAIRLY COMMON OCCURRENCE FOR 2006 NISSAN MURANOS. HOWEVER, WHEN I CONTACTED NISSAN AND EXPLAINED THE SITUATION, THEY RESPONDED THAT THERE IS NO RECALL FOR THIS DEFECT AND THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REIMBURSE ME FOR ANY PORTION OF THE REPAIR. *TR
MY 2006 MURANO HAS A FUEL GAUGE SENSOR PROBLEM. IT DOESN'T WORK SO THE FUEL GAUGE IN THE CAR IS NEVER CORRECT. *TR
ON MY 2006 NISSAN MURANO, THE DRIVER'S SIDE SUN VISOR WILL NOT STAY IN THE UP POSITION AND CAUSES DIFFICULTY SEEING. I EITHER HAVE TO "HUNCH DOWN" TO SEE WELL OR HOLD THE VISOR UP WITH ONE HAND. *TR
WHILE DRIVING, THE DRIVER SEAT SUDDENLY BROKE LOOSE, STARTLING THE DRIVER BUT THANKFULLY KEPT THE VEHICLE UNDER CONTROL. UPON INSPECTION NOTICED THE REAR OUT SIDE METAL BRACKET IS CRACKED IN HALF AT TWO PLACES. SEAT IS NOT SECURE AND UNSAFE TO DRIVE. APPARENTLY THERE ARE MANY KNOWN ISSUES WITH THIS. ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN TO PREVENT ANY DEATHS, NOT AFTER DEATHS OCCUR. COMMON SENSE SHOULD PREVAIL HERE AND RECOGNIZE THERE IS A DESIGN FLAW THAT IS A SERIOUS THREAT TO DRIVERS, PASSENGERS OTHER MOTORISTS, AND PEDESTRIANS. *TR
DRIVERS SEAT LEFT REAR BRACKET SNAPPED IN HALF, SEAT NOW ROCKS UP AND DOWN 3 INCHES AND LEANS RIGHT. EMAILED NISSAN CORPORATE THEY HAD ME BRING IT TO A DEALER WHO QUOTED ME $1089.00 TO FIX, REVIEWED COST WITH NISSAN CORPORATE AND THEY HAVE HEARD OF THE PROBLEM OCCURRING WITH THE MURANO BUT CAN'T COVER THE REPAIR EXPENSE, SHE SAID "KEEP THE RECEIPT IN CASE WE RECALL IT YOU WILL GET SOME MONEY BACK". *TR
I HEARD A SNAPPING SOUND WHILE DRIVING MY 2006 NISSAN MURANO, AND THE DRIVERS SEAT TILTED BACK AND TO THE LEFT. UPON GETTING OUT OF THE VEHICLE AND CHECKING THE SEAT MANUALLY, THE LEFT BACKSIDE MOVED UP AND DOWN 1-2". I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A NISSAN DEALER AND WAS QUOTED $1189.87 TO REPLACE THE SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY. THE PART HAS TO BE ORDERED SO THE REPAIR HAS NOT BEEN DONE YET, BUT WILL BE WHEN THE PART COMES IN, AND I WILL KEEP THE OLD PART WHEN REPLACED. *TR UPDATED 09/14/09
DRIVER'S SIDE VISOR WILL NOT STAY UP. *TR
THE DRIVER'S SEAT IN OUR 2006 NISSAN MURANO STARTED FLOPPING AROUND. WE TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND HE SAYS THAT WE NEED TO SPEND $1000 TO FIX THE SEAT. WE HAVE BEEN ON THE INTERNET AND IT SOUNDS LIKE THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH THIS CAR. IT IS DEFINITELY A DANGEROUS DEFINE DEFECT. *TR
I OWN A 2006 NISSAN MURANO AND IN THE FALL OF 2009, STARTED EXPERIENCING AN ISSUE WITH MY SUNVISOR. I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS ISSUE IS NOT JUST MINE, BUT MANY OTHER OWNERS HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. WHILE DRIVING, THE SUNVISOR RANDOMLY FALLS DOWN, SOMETIMES HITTING ME (OR MY FAMILY) IN THE HEAD. IT IS CLEARLY A SAFETY ISSUE. IT ALWAYS OCCURS ON ROUGH ROAD SURFACES BUT ALSO HAPPENS ON SMOOTH HIGHWAYS, AND AT RANDOM TIMES, OFTEN STARTLING ME OR WHOEVER IS DRIVING MY CAR. WE HAVE PURCHASED & REPLACED THE CLIPS THAT HOLDS THE VISOR BUT THAT IS NOT THE PROBLEM. THE VISOR JUST DOES NOT LOCK IN THE "UP" POSITION. WE HAVE ALSO SPOKEN TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAID IT IS NOT UNDER WARRANTY AND IS A $350-400 REPLACEMENT PART. OTHER OWNERS HAVE INDICATED THEY WILL NOT COVER IS UNDER THEIR "GOODWILL PROGRAM" EITHER.
I HAVE A 2006 NISSAN MURANO AND ON THE LEFT SIDE THE SEAT DROPPED DOWN WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH AFTER HITTING A BUMP. PREVIOUSLY I HAD TAKEN THE DEALER WITH COMPLAINTS OF ROCKING AND CLICKING SOUNDS BUT NO CONDITION COULD BE FOUND. AFTER THE SEAT BROKE I TOOK IT TO MY LOCAL DEALER WHO PER TSB05-043C FOUND DRIVERS SEAT LIFTER BROKE AND REPLACED LIFTER LINK UNDER NISSAN FACTORY WARRANTY. THE SEAT STILL DOES ROCK BUT IS ATTACHED TO THE LEFT SIDE AND IS SECURE. I AM CONTACTING THE LOCAL DEALER FOR THEIR RESPONSE TO THE ISSUE. *TR

DRIVERS SEAT UNDER BOTTOM CROSS BAR BECOMES UNWELDED AND BROKE. *TR
2006 NISSAN MURANO DRIVER SEAT BROKEN AT 73K MILES. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN AS THE WELDING UNDER THE SEAT SNAPPED WHILE I WAS DRIVING AT 65MPH AND THE SEAT NOW ROCKS BACK AND FORTH. CAR IS OUT WARRANTY AND NISSAN WANTS $1,000 TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. AFTER SOME INTERNET RESEARCH, I HAVE LEARNED THAT THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM IN 03-07 MURANOS. MY SEAT IS NO LONGER STABLE AND IF I WERE TO GET INTO AN ACCIDENT I DO NOT KNOW WHAT WOULD HAPPEN. THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL ISSUED. *TR
I OWN A 2006 NISSAN MURANO AND IT CURRENTLY HAS APPROXIMATELY 56000 MILES ON IT. THE SEAT DRIVERS SIDE SEAT FRAME/TRACK IS CURRENTLY BROKEN. THIS CAUSES THE SEAT TO TILT TOWARD THE DOOR AND ALSO IT IS NOT FULLY ATTACHED. WE ATTEMPTED TO ADDRESS THE DEFECT WITH NISSAN AND JOHN MILLER OF FIELD OPERATIONS AT KELLY NISSAN. THEY FIRST TOLD US THAT WE WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR FIXING THE DEFECT FOR $860.00 AND THEN REDUCED IT TO $350.00. AFTER WE INDICATED THAT IT WAS A DEFECT AND THE MANUFACTURER SHOULD PAY FOR IT, THE OFFER WAS RETRACTED. MY WIFE DAWN GROCHOWIAK WAS SPOKEN TO IN AN UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER AFTER INDICATING SHE WAS PREGNANT AND FEARED FOR HER SAFETY. *TR
2006 NISSAN MURANO DRIVER SEAT BROKE LOOSE FROM TRACK, ALMOST WRECKED VEHICLE GETTING TO THE DEALER. THIS SHOULD BE UNDER A RECALL W/ MNFCTR , BUT NISSAN WILL NOT PAY FOR THE REPAIRS IN FULL (MET ME AT 50%), BUT THIS IS A SERIOUS DEFECT THAT IS NOT THAT UNCOMMON FROM WHAT I HAVE READ NOW. DRIVER'S-SIDE VISOR SUDDENLY BECAME UNABLE TO STAY AT A SECURE ANGLE, WHICH CAUSES A RECURRING VISIBILITY PROBLEM. IT NO LONGER STAYS AT A SECURE POSITION IF IT IS NOT FLIPPED UP FLAT AGAINST THE HEADLINER. THIS PRECLUDES USING IT AS INTENDED TO BLOCK SUN FROM SHINING DIRECTLY INTO DRIVER'S EYES. IF NOT FLAT AGAINST THE HEADLINER, IT ONLY HANGS STRAIGHT DOWN AND COMPLETELY BLOCKS LINE-OF-SIGHT WHILE DRIVING, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE VISOR'S END IS SECURED OR NOT IN ITS CLIP. TO AVOID SUN SHINING DIRECTLY AND UNSAFELY INTO EYES, IT'S NECESSARY TO HOLD THE VISOR AT NECESSARY ANGLE WITH ONE HAND, LEAVING ONLY ONE HAND ON THE STEERING WHEEL. IT MAY SOUND LIKE A MINOR PROBLEM - - UNTIL YOU REGULARLY EXPERIENCE HAVING TO MAKE A CHOICE BETWEEN BEING LITERALLY BLINDED BY THE SUN WHILE DRIVING OR HAVING TO USE ONE HAND TO HOLD THE VISOR UP. IT IS NO LONGER COVERED BY MY NOW-EXPIRED 36 MO/3 YR WARRANTY. DEALERS ESTIMATE TO REPAIR: $400.00. *TR

WAS TRAVELING CLOSE TO 70MPH ON FREEWAY WHEN DRIVER SEAT COMPLETELY BROKE. MY BODY COLLAPSED TO THE LEFT SIDE AND FORCED ME TO LEAN AGAINST DRIVER DOOR. I SWERVED AND NEARLY HIT A VEHICLE BECAUSE OF THIS. APPARENTLY, A WELD IN THE SEAT ASSEMBLY BROKE. MY VEHICLE IS OUT OF WARRANTY AND NISSAN REFUSES TO COVER THE DAMAGE WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY A DEFECT. UPON TALKING TO OTHER NISSAN MURANO OWNERS, THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE. I STILL HAVE NOT REPAIRED THE SEAT AS NISSAN IS CHARGING NEARLY $1,000 FOR THE REPAIR. I CURRENTLY HAVE WOODEN BLOCKS UNDERNEATH THE SEAT TO PROP IT UP. OCCASIONALLY THE WOOD SLIDES OUT AND I HAVE TO PULL OVER TO REPLACE IT FOR SAFETY REASONS. I BELIEVE THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE. MY VEHICLE IS A 2006 NISSAN MURANO WITH JUST OVER 60,000 MILES ON IT CURRENTLY. *TR

MY WIFE WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND MADE A LEFT HAND TURN AND THE DRIVER'S SEAT SUDDENLY TIPPED TO THE RIGHT. WHAT HAD HAPPENED IS THE SEAT TRACK BROKE ON THE LEFT SIDE AND MUST NOW BE REPLACED. CONSEQUENTLY, THE SEAT TIPS TO THE RIGHT EVERY TIME YOU MAKE A LEFT HAND TURN. IT TILTS TO THE LEFT WHEN SITTING IN IT. I BELIEVE THAT IF WE WERE TO GET IN AN ACCIDENT PRIOR TO THE REPAIR THE SEAT WOULD DISLODGE FROM ITS MOUNT. WE HAD THE DEALER CHECK OUT THE PROBLEM AND THE SEAT TRACK ASSEMBLY IS AVAILABLE FOR ORDER AND REPLACEMENT. IT WILL TAKE 2-4 DAYS TO RECEIVE THE PART. THIS VEHICLE IS ONLY THREE YEARS OLD, THE REPAIR IS OVER $800 AND NOT WARRANTIED PAST 36,000 MILES. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 NISSAN MURANO. THE SEAT TRACK WAS BROKEN IN TWO PLACES OF THE DRIVER FRONT SEAT. THE ENTIRE SEAT WAS ROCKING FROM SIDE TO SIDE. THERE WERE NO EXISTING RECALLS. THE CONTACT WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REPLACING THE SEAT FOR $1,000. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT IN THREE MONTHS THE WARRANTY WILL EXPIRE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,000.
I HAVE A 2006 NISSAN MURANO. THE ISSUE ORIGINATED WITH THE AIR INTAKE PROBLEM THAT NISSAN RECALLED LAST YEAR. PRIOR TO THE RECALL I HAD TAKEN MY CAR IN BECAUSE OF THE POOR PERFORMANCE AND NEAR ACCIDENTS THAT THE AIR INTAKE ISSUE CAUSED. I HAD TAKEN THE CAR TO TOWN NORTH NISSAN TO HAVE THE ISSUE CHECKED OUT AND THEY SAID THE PROBLEM WAS MY MOTOR MOUNTS WERE DEFECTIVE AND THAT WOULD FIX THE AIR INTAKE ISSUE. I CONTINUED TO EXPERIENCE ISSUES WITH THE AIR INTAKE AND FIXING THE MOTOR MOUNTS DID NOT RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM. AFTER THE AIR INTAKE RECALL CAME OUT I TOOK THE CAR IN TO HAVE THE PARTS REPLACED. WHILE PICKING UP MY CAR I SPOKE TO THE SERVICE MANAGER ABOUT MY FRUSTRATION ON HAVING TO REPLACE THE MOTOR MOUNTS WHICH NEVER RESOLVED THE PROBLEM. THE SERVICE MANAGER EXPLAINED THAT THEY WERE AWARE THAT THE MOTOR MOUNTS ON THE MURANO WERE WEAK (NOT JUST MINE BUT ACROSS THE BOARD) AND THEY FELT THAT WOULD RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS CARS IN MY LIFE AND HAVE PUT OVER 100,000 MILES ON SEVERAL OF THE CARS THAT I OWNED AND I HAVE NEVER HAD TO REPLACE THE MOTOR MOUNTS. IF NISSAN KNOWS THAT THE MOTOR MOUNTS ARE WEAK ON THIS CAR THEN WHY HAS THAT PART NOT BEEN RECALLED?
DRIVERS BROKE AWAY FROM RAIL WHEN APPLYING BRAKES TO AVOID FRONT-END COLLISION. NISSAN WILL NOT FORCE THE OEM JOHNSON TO MAKE REPAIRS. NOT GOOD PR. NISSAN WILL NOT REPAIR, EITHER.

TURNED A CORNER AT NORMAL SPEED AND WAS ALMOST TOSSED OUT OF THE SEAT. THE SEAT LIFTED IN THE BACK LEFT CORNER OF THE DRIVERS SEAT. NOT A PLEASANT OR SAFE FEELING TO HAVE YOUR SEAT FEEL LIKE IT IS FLYING OFF OF THE FLOOR. A CAR SEAT SHOULD REMAIN FIRMLY ATTACHED TO THE SEAT. EVEN IF THE SEAT ITSELF DOESN'T CAUSE ACCIDENTS FOR PEOPLE - THE FEELING YOU GET OF LOSING CONTROL COULD EASILY CAUSE A DRIVER TO STEER INTO AN ACCIDENT. I WAS SHOCKED TO READ ONLINE HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE THIS PROBLEM AND THE GENERAL LACK OF CONCERN ABOUT IT FROM NISSAN. THE DEALER REPLACED THE DRIVER'S SUN VISOR AT THEIR EXPENSE HOWEVER, ADVISED THAT THE PASSENGER'S SUN VISOR WOULD BE THE CONTACT'S RESPONSIBILITY. THERE IS A TSB ON THIS PROBLEM AND I HAVE BECOME A MEMBER OF A LARGE GROUP THAT CAN EXPECT THE SEAT FRAME TO BREAK EVERY 2 TO 3 YEARS. IN MAY 2009, I PURCHASED A USED 2006 NISSAN MURANO FROM CARMAX, I CHECK THE VEHICLE FOR ANY LEAK SIGNS AND NONE WERE NOTICE,THE VEHICLE HAD 27000 MILES AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE, LESS THAN TWO MONTHS LATER WHILE DRIVING FROM ORLANDO FLORIDA, WHILE DRIVING AT 70 MILES PER HOUR, I NOTICE A NOISE AND A LITTLE PROBLEM WITH THE STEERING WHEEL, I PULLED OVER, OPENED THE HOOD AND NOTICE THAT THE STEERING FLUID WAS ALMOST GONE, I ADDED POWER STEERING FLUID AND MADE IT HOME,AFTER RESEARCHING THE WEB I NOTICE THAT I WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS KIND OF PROBLEMS,AFTER THAT I VISITED A NISSAN DEALER, AND MY SURPRISE WAS THAT THEY ALREADY KNOW THE PART NUMBER FOR THIS ISSUE,AND ASKED THE DESK PERSONEL ABOUT IT, AND THEY SAID THAT SO MANY PEOPLE LOOKED FOR THE SAME PART SO MANY TIME THAT THEY ALREADY KNOW IT BY HEART. THERE WAS NO WARNING BUT ONE DAY THE DRIVER'S SEAT STOPPED MOVING ON THE LEFT SIDE. ESSENTIALLY, THE SEAT WOULD JUST HOOK TO THE LEFT WHENEVER I TRIED TO MOVE THE SEAT AND WHENEVER YOU STARTED THE CAR (SINCE THIS CAR HAS AN AUTOMATIC SEAT ADJUST FEATURE UPON STARTING AND TURNING OFF THE ENGINE). I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP TO SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND IT RESULTED IN NEEDING A NEW SEAT TRACK. UNLESS THE REPAIR IS MADE, WHICH NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR, THE SEAT REMAINS IN A POSITION THAT IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR ME, THE MAIN DRIVER. ADDITIONALLY, I AM THE ONLY DRIVER OF THIS VEHICLE AND WOULD NOT EVER MOVE THE SEAT CAUSING THIS DAMAGE TO IT.
