THE DRIVERS SEAT IN MY 2006 NISSAN MURANO BROKE. I HAD THE SEAT BACK PART REPLACED, HOWEVER, IT BROKE AGAIN WITHIN A WEEK. WILL BE GOING BACK TO GLENN NISSAN IN LEXINGTON AGAIN. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. NISSAN NEEDS TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE ON THIS ONE! *TR
WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD DOING 25MPH TO THE INTERSECTION AND MADE A LEFT HAND TURN ON THE ALREADY GREEN LIGHT. WHILE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TURN THE BACK LEFT PORTION OF MY SEAT LIFTED UP SEVERAL INCHES CAUSING ME TO LEAN SUDDENLY TO THE RIGHT. MANAGED TO REGAIN CONTROL THROUGH THE TURN. NOW WHEN MAKING LEFT HAND TURNS I HAVE TO HOLD ON TO MY DOOR HANDLE WITH MY LEFT HAND TO AVOID CAUSING THE SEAT TO LIFT AND LEAN EXTREMELY TO THE RIGHT EVEN UNDER MILD SPEED. ONCE I GOT HOME I TOOK THE LEFT SIDE PLASTIC PANEL OFF THE DRIVERS SEAT AND UPON LIFTING UP THE REAR LEFT CORNER OF THE SEAT COULD SEE WHERE THE CROSS SUPPORT BRACKET HAD BROKEN THE TWO SMALL CONTACT POINTS WITH THE SIDE BRACKET. WILL TRY TO TAKE IT TO THE LOCAL NISSAN DEALERSHIP TOMORROW TO HOPEFULLY HAVE REPAIRED/REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 NISSAN MURANO. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH AND PROCEEDING TO TURN LEFT, THE DRIVER'S SEAT BEGAN TO TILT TO THE LEFT WITHOUT ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE OCCURS WHEN MAKING LEFT TURNS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR INSPECTION AND THE ADJUSTMENT ANCHOR BRACKET WAS DEEMED TO BE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE REPAIR COST WAS ESTIMATED AT $1,000. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 70,000.

UPON ENTERING THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR AND SITTING IN DRIVER SEAT, THE DRIVER SEAT SUPPORT ROD, UNDERNEATH THE UPHOLSTERY, BECAME DISENGAGED FROM THE LEFT SIDE SUPPORT POST, CAUSING THE SEAT TO "CAVE-IN" ON THE LEFT SIDE. *TR

DRIVER'S SEAT IS BROKEN - THE ENTIRE FRAME ON THE LEFT SIDE BROKE AND THE SEAT FALLS TO THE LEFT, MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO BE COMFORTABLE AND SAFE. CURRENTLY HAVE 2X4 BOARDS HOLDING UP THE SEAT, AND AN UNABLE TO ADJUST THE SEAT CREATING A PAIN IN MY LOWER BACK, AS WELL AS A SAFETY FLAW IN THE VEHICLE. *TR

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 NISSAN MURANO. WHILE DRIVING BETWEEN 55-60 MPH, THE BRACKETS FAILED UNDERNEATH THE DRIVER'S SEAT. A NISSAN REPAIR SHOP WELDED THE BRACKETS BACK IN PLACE IN MARCH OF 2009. THE FAILURE ONLY OCCURRED ONCE. THE CONTACT HAS A REPAIR ORDER FROM THE SHOP FOR $300. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 53,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 56,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 NISSAN MURANO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER SIDE SUN VISOR WOULD NOT STAY UP IN POSITION. THE VISOR WOULD RANDOMLY FALL IN HIS VIEW. THE DEALER STATED THAT HE WOULD ASSUME LIABILITY FOR THE REPAIRS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED WHEN THE COMPLAINT WAS FILED. I HAD A FAILURE OF THE DRIVERS SEAT IN MY 2006 NISSAN MURANO. AFTER CHECKING WITH THE PARTS DEPARTMENT AT MY LOCAL NISSAN DEALER (OLATHE NISSAN) I FOUND THE PART BROKEN WAS PART NUMBER 87450+A. REPLACEMENT OF THAT PORTION OF MY SEAT WILL RESULT IN A COST OF APPROXIMATELY $650.00 PARTS, PLUS LABOR FOR INSTALLATION. I'M STILL WITHIN THE 3 YEAR WARRANTY PERIOD, BUT OVER THE 35K MILE AND WAS TOLD THIS WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THERE IS A TSB ON THIS PROBLEM AND SEEMS AS I HAVE BECOME A MEMBER OF A LARGE GROUP THAT CAN EXPECT THE POTENTIAL FOR HAVING THIS REPAIR EVERY 2 TO 3 YEARS. IT SEEMS THAT NISSAN HAS A DESIGN PROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED, BUT NOT AT MY EXPENSE LIFE OR MONEY. THIS SHOULD BE VIEWED AS AN EXTREME SAFETY ISSUE, AS IT BROKE WHEN I WAS DRIVING MAKING IT VERY DIFFICULT TO DRIVE! *TR
DRIVER SEAT FRAME OR ATTACHMENT TO TRACK IS BROKEN. HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR A LONG AMOUNT OF TIME. FIRST NOTICED AFTER A FEW MONTHS OF PURCHASING VEHICLE IN 2008. DEALER WANTS @ 1000.00 TO REPAIR. WAS NOT COVERED UNDER EXTENDED WARRANTY. CAR FAILED SAFETY INSPECTION DUE TO SEAT THIS YEAR. CANNOT AFFORD REPAIR AT THIS TIME. *TR

2006 NISSAN MURANO SUNVISORS (DRIVER AND PASSENGER) CONTINUALLY DROP DOWN DURING DRIVING. THEY ROTATE FROM A "UP" POSITION TO A "DOWN" POSITION ON THEIR OWN. AVERAGE ROAD VIBRATION / DRIVING CONDITIONS CONSTANTLY CAUSES THIS TO HAPPEN. ONCE THE VISORS ARE "DOWN", THEY BLOCK THE VIEW OF THE ROAD WHILE DRIVING. THESE ARE NOT COVERED UNDER NORMAL FACTORY WARRANTY OR EXTENDED WARRANTY. PART COST FOR EACH VISOR IS $400.00 FROM NISSAN....DOES NOT INCLUDE INSTALLATION COSTS. NEEDED NEW FRONT AND REAR BRAKES 26K MILES, NO WARNING SQUEAK JUST METAL TO METAL GRIND. WHICH MEANS NOT ONLY PADS BUT ROTORS AS WELL. DEALER SAID NORMAL TO REPLACE FRONT AND REAR BRAKES 25K MILES. *TR
2006 NISSAN MURANO NOW WITH 45000 MILES ON IT. SINCE LESS THAN 5K MI, THE CAR DOES 2 THINGS THAT MAY BE IN RELATION TO EACH OTHER: 1) WHEN DRIVING AT CONSTANT SPEED ON FLAT ROAD BETWEEN 40 & 70+ MPH, THE RPM'S WILL JUMP UP 500-1000RPMS FOR A BRIEF MOMENT- ALMOST FEELS AND SOUNDS LIKE THE ENGINE IS SLIPPING OUT OF GEAR AND THEN BACK IN. OR COULD BE THAT IT DETECTS A SLIGHT PRESSURE ON PEDAL (LINKAGE/SENDER WHATEVER) AND DOWNSHIFTS THEN JUMPS BACK DOWN? IT DOES THIS WITH CRUISE CONTROL ON AS WELL. 2) ALSO, ACCELERATION IS SLUGGISH WHEN LEISURELY PROCEEDING FROM A STOP, OR VERY SLOW SPEED (SAY MAKING A 90 DEGREE TURN FROM A STOP OF SLOW PACE). WHILE PUSHING ON PEDAL, RPMS AND ENGINE WILL ACTUALLY DECREASE TO ABOUT 1000-1500RPS CAUSING CAR TO LAG (BIG SAFETY ISSUE FOR I HAVE ALMOST BEEN HIT BY OTHER CARS DUE TO THIS). DOES NOT DO IF I DO A HARD ACCELERATE (BUT I DON'T DRIVE THAT WAY...JACK RABBIT STARTS). DEALERSHIP CONFIRMED #1 AND REPLACED TRANNY. STILL DID IT BOTH PROBLEMS. DEALERSHIP REPLACED COMPUTER FOR TRANNY. STILL DOES BOTH, BUT #1 DOES NOT HAPPEN AS OFTEN (USED TO HAPPEN 3+ TIMES IN A 15 MINUTE PERIOD OF LESS, NOT DOES 1-3X PER HOUR MAYBE- I HAVE STOPPED TRACKING). I LET THE DEALERSHIP KNOW WHEN I BRING FOR SERVICE, BUT I GIVE UP- CAR IS OUT OF WARRANTY NOW. I'LL RETURN THE LEASE. TOO BAD- LOVE THE CAR, JUST FEEL THERE IS SOMETHING VERY WRONG THAT THEY WEREN'T ABLE TO FIND. I HAVE FOUND OTHER REPORTS OF SAME LIKE PROBLEMS. *TR

I DRIVE A 2005 NISSAN MURANO SL. THE VEHICLE PERIODICALLY DOES NOT SAFELY ACCELERATE WHILE IN BUSY TRAFFIC. I HAD MY WIFE, 2 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER, AND 5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN THE CAR AT THE TIME OF MAKING A LEFT TURN AT A MAJOR INTERSECTION. THE VEHICLE SLUGGISHLY STALLED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LEFT TURN AT THE INTERSECTION AND TEMPORARILY STALLED AND COULD HAVE CAUSED US TO BE HIT BY ONCOMING TRAFFIC. THE ENGINE REVVED UP TO ABOUT 4000 RPM'S THEN PROCEEDING TO ACCELERATE. I SEE THIS PROBLEM AS A MAJOR SAFETY AND HEALTH ISSUE AND CAN BE THE ROOT CAUSE OF A MAJOR ACCIDENT RESULTING IN DEATH TO INVOLVED PARTIES. PLEASE BE PROACTIVE AS OPPOSED TO REACTIVE AND START THE PROCESS FOR A RECALL OF THIS DEFECTIVE VEHICLE. *TR

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 NISSAN MURANO. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH ON NORMAL ROAD CONDITIONS, THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT UNEXPECTEDLY COLLAPSED BACKWARDS. THE DRIVER MANEUVERED THE STEERING WHEEL TO AVOID TRAFFIC AND PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE VEHICLE WAS CAUTIOUSLY DRIVEN TO HER RESIDENCE AND THEN TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE TECHNICIAN RECOMMENDED THAT THE SEAT FRAME BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED BECAUSE THE FAILURE WAS EXCLUDED FROM THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. CURRENTLY, THE VEHICLE IS INOPERATIVE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 43,633.
2006 NISSAN MURANO. FRONT DRIVER'S 8-WAY POWER SEAT. MY WIFE TOLD ME THAT ONE SIDE OF THE SEAT, THE RIGHT (TRANSMISSION SELECTOR) SIDE, WAS JAMMED AND WOULD NOT MOVE FORWARD AND BACK CAUSING THE SEAT TO "PIVOT" IN POSITION. I COULD NOT SEE AN FOREIGN OBJECT STUCK UNDER THE SEAT THAT WOULD CAUSE THIS SO I TOOK IT TO THE LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALER. THEY TOLD ME THAT THE GEARS THAT MESH TOGETHER TO DIRECT THE MOVEMENT OF THE SEAT WERE STRIPPED AND THAT THE ENTIRE 8-WAY RACK MECHANISM HAD TO BE REPLACED, TO THE TUNE OF OVER $900.00!!. THE SERVICE TECH SAID THAT THIS WAS A COMMON PROBLEM ON THE MURANO AND IS USUALLY CAUSED WHEN THE DRIVER LEANS BACK HARD AGAINST THE BACK OF THE SEAT AND LIFTS UP HIS OR HER FANNY, AS WHEN ENTERING THE VEHICLE AND ADJUSTING PANT LEGS OR A DRESS BEFORE STARTING TO DRIVE (SOMETHING EVERYONE DOES ALL THE TIME). AFTER RELUCTANTLY PAYING TO HAVE THIS WORK DONE I TOOK THE OLD SEAT RACK HOME AND TOOK IT APART. SURE ENOUGH, TWO GEARS ON THE RIGHT-HAND SIDE OF THE RACK WERE STRIPPED OF SEVERAL WORM-TEETH, HOWEVER, THE GEARS THEMSELVES ARE LESS THAN 1/2" IN DIAMETER AND MADE OF CHEAP NYLON! YOU WOULD THINK THAT THESE WOULD BE MADE OF METAL. ALSO, THE GEARS THEMSELVES COULD BE REMOVED QUITE EASILY FROM THE ASSEMBLY. I DON'T UNDERSTAND AT ALL WHY THE ENTIRE SEAT ASSEMBLY HAD TO BE REPLACED EXCEPT AS A PROFIT MAKER FOR THE DEALER. AFTER SEEING ALL OF THE EXACT SAME COMPLAINTS ON THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE ON VARIOUS CAR COMPLAINT WEB-SITES IT IS OBVIOUS THAT NISSAN SHOULD BE REQUIRED TO RECALL THESE VEHICLES AND REPLACE THESE DEFECTIVE GEARS.*TR
SUN VISOR ON 2006 MURANO DOES NOT STAY UP OR IN THE PROPER PLACE. I HAVE TO EITHER HOLD OR USE MY HAND AS A SHIELD FROM GLARE OF SUN. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SEE THAT OTHERS HAVE THE SAME COMPLAINT. I ALWAYS FELT THAT THE INTERIOR QUALITY OF THE MURANO WAS GOOD. I WAS DRIVING ALONG AND I HEARD A SNAP WHEN I GOT HOME I LOOKED UNDER THE SEAT AND INDEED THE SEAT FRAME BRACKET SNAPPED IN TWO PLACES. THE BACK LEFT BRACKET OF MY DRIVERS SEAT SNAPPED IN A Y PATTERN. I HAVE NOT REPLACED IT YET BECAUSE NISSAN WANTS $900 TO REPLACE IT. I FEEL THAT IT IS A MANUFACTURE DEFECT NOT NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. IT IS A DEFINITE SAFETY ISSUE, WHEN YOUR LEFT REAR ANCHOR IS NOT HOLDING YOUR SEAT IN PLACE. *TR
I WAS DRIVING MY 2006 NISSAN MURANO (PURCHASED NEW JANUARY 2006) WITH ABOUT 45K MILES ON IT WHEN---WHILE DRIVING, THE DRIVERS SEAT ROCKED TO THE LEFT/LEFT REAR, CLEARLY BROKEN. SIDE-TO-SIDE LURCHING MOVEMENT OF THE SEAT HAPPENS CONSTANTLY. I TOOK IT TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP WHERE I BOUGHT THE CAR IN CEDAR RAPIDS IOWA. THEY TOLD ME THE DRIVERS SEAT TRACK WAS BROKEN AND GAVE AN ESTIMATE OF $1,035.09 TO REPAIR. THIS INCLUDED $675.30 DRIVERS SEAT TRACK PART. THE PART NUMBER LISTED ON THE ESTIMATE WAS 87450-CA06A THIS WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY DUE TO MILEAGE (47K AT TIME OF THEIR DIAGNOSIS). THIS HAS TO BE A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN, PARTICULARLY IF ANY ACCIDENT OCCURRED, AT WHICH TIME A SECURED SEAT WOULD BE IMPERATIVE. I CAN'T IMAGINE THAT THIS BASIC EQUIPMENT HAS A LIFESPAN OF LESS THAN THREE YEARS, YET WHEN I RESEARCHED THIS INCIDENT ONLINE, I FOUND MANY, MANY COMPLAINTS OF THE SAME "BROKEN SEAT" IN 2006 AND 2005 MURANO MODEL YEARS. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 NISSAN MURANO. THE CONTACT EXPERIENCED ISSUES WITH THE STEERING IN HIS VEHICLE. THE STEERING WHEEL CONTINUED TO LOCK WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED. THE CONTACT HAD TO EXERT GREAT FORCE IN ORDER TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT IN ORDER TO PREVENT THE STEERING WHEEL FROM LOCKING, BOTH THE FRONT AND REAR WHEELS NEEDED TO BE PARALLEL TO EACH OTHER AND THE STEERING WHEEL NEEDED TO BE IN A HORIZONTAL POSITION. THE VIN WAS NOT ACCEPTED BY THE SYSTEM. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE LESS THAN 42,000. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 NISSAN MURANO. WHILE MAKING A TURN AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE DRIVER'S SEAT ROCKED OVER TOWARDS THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT THE FRAME FAILED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 42,800 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 42,760.
AFTER OWNING MY 2006 NISSAN MURANO FOR JUST OVER TWO YEARS THE LOWER SEAT BRACE HAS BROKEN AND THE SEAT LEANS AND LIFTS IN A LEFT HAND TURN. I HAVE RESEARCHED THIS PROBLEM ONLINE AND HAVE FOUND MANY COMPLAINTS FOR THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. THIS I FEEL IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT THE COMPANY IS UNWILLING TO FIX AT NO COST. TRAVELING AT 35 MPH APPROACHING INTERSECTION WHERE LIGHT HAD TURNED RED. BEGAN DECELERATING AS I APPROACHED THE STOPPED TRAFFIC. GETTING CLOSER, TO THE STOPPED TRAFFIC, I BEGAN TO BRAKE. I FELT A "CATCH" ON THE BRAKE PEDAL, AND THEN IT FAILED AND WENT ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. I TRIED BRAKING FOUR OR FIVE TIMES AGAIN, BUT THE BRAKE WENT TO THE FLOOR AND I WATCHED AS IF IN "SLOW MOTION" AS I KNEW I WOULD BE HITTING A LARGE AUTO TRANSPORT TRUCK IN FRONT OF ME. SINCE I HAD ALREADY BEGAN DECELERATING AND THE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE DONE TO MY VEHICLE IN COMPARISON TO THE SIZE OF A DOUBLE DECKER AUTO TRANSPORT TRUCK WAS NOT THAT EXTENSIVE , I AM GUESSING I WAS TRAVELING APPROX. 25 TO 30 MPH AT THE TIME OF IMPACT. THE AIRBAG WAS DEPLOYED ON IMPACT. THE BRAKES FOLLOWING THE ACCIDENT WERE FINE; HOWEVER, I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THIS FAILURE OCCURRING AGAIN. I HAVE READ THAT THERE HAVE BEEN COMPLAINTS ABOUT SQUEAKING BRAKES WITH THE 2006 NISSAN MURANO WHICH WE HAVE EXPERIENCED. I AM CONCERNED THAT THERE MAY BE A COMPUTER GLITCH OR PROBLEM WITH THE ABS, AND COULD THIS HAPPEN AGAIN. ON OCT. 19TH MY WIFE WAS DRIVING ARE 2006 NISSAN MURANO, I WAS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT AND ARE SON WAS IN THE BACK. WE HAD JUST PULLED AWAY FROM THE HOUSE AND WE HEARD A LOAD POP. MY WIFE SAID I THINK THE SEAT JUST BROKE. WE CONTINUED ON TO HOME DEPOT AND THERE I EXAMINED THE SEAT AND YES THE SEAT WAS BROKEN AS THE BACK LEFT SECTION OF THE SEAT IS UNATTACHED FROM THE FRAME AND CAN BE RAISED AND LOWERED AT WILL. WE CALLED THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP MONDAY OCT. 20TH AND THEY REAFFIRMED THAT THE SEAT ASSEMBLY WAS BROKEN AND THE PART WOULD BE 615.00 AND THE LABOR ANOTHER 200 PLUS DOLLARS. I MADE A CALL TO CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND AFTER ALMOST TWO WEEKS OF DISCUSSIONS WITH THEM THEY WERE WILLING TO ONLY ALLOW FOR A 200.00 GOOD WILL REIMBURSEMENT. I EXPLAINED THAT THIS IS NOT A MECHANICAL PART BUT A STRUCTURAL PART AND THAT IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BROKEN ESPECIALLY ON A 2 YEAR OLD VEHICLE WITH 53000 MILES. I EXPLAINING THAT THE CAR WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE IN ITS CONDITION AND THAT NISSAN SHOULD STAND BEHIND IT. THERE ARE MANY INSTANCES OF INDIVIDUALS HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE IF YOU SEARCH THE WEB FOR IT AS WELL AS A SERVICE BULLETIN POST BY NISSAN ABOUT THIS ISSUE. THIS IS A STRUCTURAL PART NOT A MECHANICAL PART AND WITH IT BROKEN IT MAKES THE CAR UNSAFE FOR ME, MY WIFE AND OUR SON. DRIVERS SEAT FRAME BROKEN AT REAR LEFT CORNER RESULTING THE SEAT ROCKING WHEN CORNERING AND EVENTUALLY COLLAPSING AT THE LEFT REAR CORNER. DEALER REFUSED TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY ALTHOUGH AFTER SEVERAL COMPLAINTS OFFERED TO REDUCE THE PART PRICE TO DEALER COST ($750.00) WITH NO REDUCTION IN LABOR COSTS. THIS IS A CLEAR SAFETY ISSUE, THE CAR IS LESS THAN 3 YEARS OLD AND MUST BE RECALLED. *TR
2006 NISSAN MURANO DEFECTIVE DRIVERS SEAT. FOR NO APPARENT REASON SEAT STARTED TO ROCK FORM SIDE TO SIDE WHEN MAKING TURNS. I THOUGHT IT WAS A LOOSE BOLT BUT COULD NOT FIND ONE. WHEN I TURNED THE CAR IN AT THE END OF MY LEASE PERIOD, NISSAN WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR A BROKEN DRIVER SEAT MOLDING. I HAVE NOTICED THAT THERE ARE MANY OTHER SIMILAR COMPLAINTS. IN ADDITION, SERVICE MANAGERS AT NISSAN HAVE SEEN THIS PROBLEM FREQUENTLY. THIS HAPPENS FROM METAL FATIGUE AND DURING NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR, NOT BE ABUSIVE DRIVING HABITS. THE DRIVER SIDE SEAT BRACKET GAVE WAY WHEN I WAS DRIVING MY NISSAN MURANO. NO WARNING SINGS OR HINTS OF INSTABILITY WAS DISPLAYED BEFORE THE BREAK. "BRACKET" MEANING THE DEVICE THAT HOLDS THE SEAT TO THE FRAME, MOUNTED TO THE CAR FLOOR.
