MY WIFE AND I ON FRIDAY APRIL 19,2019 LOST ACCELERATION ON THE CAR AND WE HAD TO PULL OVER ON THE HIGHWAY IN PENNSYLVANIA.WE HAD TO GET THE CAR TOWED.TRIPLE A TOWED IT TO ABLE AUTO SHOP.THE OWNER JOHN TELLS ME IT IS A TRANSMISSION PROBLEM AND THAT HE DOESN'T WORK ON TRANSMISSIONS.I THEN HAD TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED TO LEE MYLES IN MT POCONO AND DOMINICK TELLS ME THE TRANSMISSION IS SHOT.SO I AM NOW BEING TOLD THAT NISSAN HAS NO WARRANTY ON THE TRANSMISSION.I AM VERY UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED WITH NISSAN.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO STAR NISSAN (4020 172TH STREET, FLUSHING, NY 11358) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION CAUSED THE VIBRATION, WHICH WAS NORMAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOUR TIMES FOR THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 28,000.
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that the doors were closed and locked securely; however, the vehicle had been stolen and had been moved several times because it appeared anyone with a compatible key fob to the year, make, and model of the vehicle could unlock or move the vehicle. Additionally, the contact stated that the sunroof would not close properly. The contact stated upon pulling into a gas station and attempting to exit the vehicle, the front driver's side door failed to unlock. The contact stated that she was able to unlock the door 30 minutes later after several attempts. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that no issues were found. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown. The VIN was unavailable.
DRIVING DOWN CHEMAWA RD NE, THEN A VEHICLE HEADING IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION TURNED LEFT ONTO CHETCO CT NE RIGHT INFRONT OF US. MY VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING AT 30MPH WHEN WE IMPACTED THE OTHER VEHICLE. NO AIR BAGS DEPLOYED ON EITHER DRIVER OR PASSENGER SIDE AND SEAT BELTS DID NOT LOCK UP CAUSING PASSENGER TO HIT THE DASH BOARD WITH THEIR RIGHT ARM. OTHER VEHICLES SIDE AIR BAGS DID DEPLOY.
TRAVELING TO ARIZONA OVER THE MOUNTAIN HILL, ALL OF A SUDDEN CAR LOSS POWER. MY RPM STAYS BELOW 3 WITH GAS PEDAL ALL THE DOWN THE FLOOR AND MY ENGINE LIGHT TURNED ON. PULLED OVER AND SAT 30 MINUTES. WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE CAR TO THE NEAREST SHOP AND PULLED THE ENGINE LIGHT CODE TO P0744.
DRIVER AIRBAG REGISTERS AN ERROR CODE. NISSAN COULD NOT TELL ME WHY AND WANTED $650 MORE TO 'TRY' TO DIAGNOSE IT WITH NO GUARANTEE.

THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 107,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 34,000.
STEERING WHEEL MAKES A SQUEAKING OR RUBBING NOISE WHEN TURNING STEERING WHEEL. SOUND IS VERY NOTICEABLE WHEN AT LOW SPEEDS.
I HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED A COMPLAINT INVOLVING EQUIPMENT FAILURE AND SAFETY. MY 2015 NISSAN ROGUE DOES NOT HAVE INTERIOR HEAT EVEN WHEN THE CONTROLS ARE SET AT 90 DEGREES. IN TRYING COMBINATIONS OF AIR-FLOWS AS INSTRUCTED BY MY DEALER, I HAD TO LOOK DOWN TO MAKE SURE I WAS PUSHING THE RIGHT BUTTONS. TALK ABOUT DISTRACTED DRIVING. WHEN I LOOKED BACK UP, I HAD JUST ENOUGH TIME TO SLAM ON MY BRAKES SO THAT I WOULD NOT REAR END A LOGGING TRUCK (THAT WAS ABOUT A 1/2 TO FULL BLOCK AWAY WHEN I FIRST LOOKED DOWN) DEFINITELY A SAFETY ISSUE IN MY MIND. MORE IMPORTANTLY: LAST NIGHT I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM A NIGHT CLASS (ABOUT 7 MILES). WEATHER CONDITIONS WERE LIGHT SNOW AND LIGHT FREEZING MIST. HAD MY TEMP. SET AT 90 DEGREES AND CONTROLS AT FULL DEFROST AND FULL FAN BLOWER. MY WINDSHIELD CONTINUED TO ICE UP BECAUSE OF LACK OF HEAT TO MELT THE FREEZING MIST. VISIBILITY GOT SO POOR I DIFFICULTY SEEING THROUGH MY WINDSHIELD. TRIED TO CONTROL THE VISION BY SPRAYING WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID USING WIPER CONTROLS. THIS HELPED. I CANNOT BELIEVE THERE HAS NOT YET BEEN RECALL FOR THIS HEATING PROBLEM. ESPECIALLY SINCE THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER DRIVERS THAT I HAVE READ ABOUT ON THE INTERNET THAT HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEMS OF LACK OF HEAT. BETWEEN BEING A DISTRACTED DRIVER TRYING TO CONTINUALLY CHANGE CONTROL SETTINGS AS WELL AS AN UNSAFE DRIVER DUE TO VISIBILITY ISSUES AS EXPLAINED EARLIER, I BELIEVE THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL MAKING THIS A NISSAN REPAIR ISSUE RATHER THAN A CONSUMER REPAIR ISSUE (COST). I HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME AND MANY OTHERS.
I HAVE A NISSAN ROGUE SELECT 2015 4 WHEEL DRIVE. THE AIRBAG LIGHT ON THE DASH STARTED BLINKING FOR NO APPARENT REASON. THIS CAR HAS NOT GOTTEN INTO ANY ACCIDENTS AND HAS LESS THAN 45,000 MILES ON IT.
VEHICLE SPUTTERS THEN STALLS, CHASSIS CONTROL LIGHT COMES ON. VEHICLE WILL RESTART AND IMMEDIATELY STALL AGAIN. EXTREME SAFETY HAZARD AS THIS OCCURS WITH NO WARNING AND FOR NO APPARENT REASON. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, TODAY IT HAPPENED ON THE FREEEAY IN A SNOW STORM AND I WAS UNABLE TO GET TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD DUE TO SPEEDS. REPLACED MAF SENSOR WITH NO LUCK. SEEMS TO BE A VERY COMMON SAFETY ISSUE NOT BEING ADDRESSED BY NISSAN.

THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE FAILURE WORSENED WHEN THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TRANSMISSION FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO LEE NISSAN (793 CENTER ST, AUBURN, ME 04210, (207) 784-5441) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS INOPERABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND A DECISION WAS PENDING. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 106,700.
INTERIOR HEAT BARELY WARM WITH TEMP SET AT 90. DEALER REPROGRAMMED AIR DOOR POSITIONS & HEAT LASTED 1 DAY. 2ND VISIT TO DEALER INSTRUCTED TO CHANGE FLOW POSITIONS (SWITCH FROM OUTSIDE AIR TO CABIN RECIRCULATION). WINDOWS STEAMED UP; TOLD USE AC TO DRY OUT AIR. WOULD LIKE TO SEE A RECALL FOR THESE SAFETY CONCERNS: 1. PLAYING AROUND WITH BUTTONS TO CHANGE AIR FLOW IS DISTRACTED DRIVING, HAVING TO KEEP LOOKING DOWN TO SEE WHICH BUTTON TO TRY NEXT TO GET HEAT TO CLEAR WINDOW STEAM (DRIVING CITY BLOCKS OR DOWN THE FREEWAY WHILE LOOKING AT WHICH COMBO OF HEAT CONTROL BUTTONS TO TRY NEXT) 2. WITH CABIN CIRCULATION TURNED ON, WINDOWS CAN STAM UP SUDDENLY LIKE DRIVING THRU FOG, UNTIL I LOCATE THE DEFROST BUTTON, BUT THEN I LOST HEAT. 3. SAFETY CONCERN WITH PUTTING ON DEFROSTER AND NOT HAVING HEAT WITH WINTER DRIVING; IT IS SCARY TO HAVE SNOW FALLING & ALTHOUGH THERE IS ENOUGH AIR TO CLEAR STEAMED WINDOWS, THERE ISN'T ENOUGH HEAT TO MELT SNOW/ICE ETC. FROM WINDSHIELD. SURFING THE INTERNET, I SEE I AM NOT ALONE WITH THIS ISSUE. I ALSO LEARNED THERE IS A SERVICE BULLETIN FOR FAULTY OR IMPROPER OPERATION OF HVAC. THE PRICE TO REPAIR THIS IS NEARLY $700 IF THE CAR IS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY. ALTHOUGH THIS MAY SEEM LIKE MORE OF A "COMFORT" ISSUE THAN A SAFETY ISSUE IN KEEPING INTERIOR TEMPERATURE REASONABLE, BUT WHEN A PERSON KEEPS THE SETTING AT +90 DEGREES AND THE AIR BLOWING OUT IS BARELY WARM, WHEN THE WINDOWS STEAM UP BECAUSE OF IMPROPER AIR CIRCULATION, AND WHEN A WINDSHIELD CANNOT BE CLEARED OF SNOW OR ICE CREATING POOR VISIBILITY WHILE DRIVING, THEN I BELIEVE THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT WARRANTS A RECALL.
LOUD METALLIC POPPING SOUNDS WHEN TURNING EITHER HARD LEFT OR RIGHT. SOUNDS LIKE IT'S COMING FROM STRUT MOUNT AREA.
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while at a complete stop, the vehicle would shudder. The contact also stated that the vehicle would hesitate upon acceleration after a complete stop. The contact also stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact called the dealer and was informed that there were no recalls on the vehicle. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure and confirmed the information provided by the dealer. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 27,000.
THE DRIVER'S SEAT SHIFTS WITH ACCELERATION AND BRAKING. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH 2014 MODELS. DEALER STATES THE FRAME NEEDS REPLACED, NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTEE. WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT? FAULTY SEAT FRAME CANNOT BE SAFE. I HAVE 43000 MILES ON MY CAR.
PURCHASED USED CAR. AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON WITH ADULT PASSENGER IN PASSENGER SIDE SEAT. NISSAN SAID THIS VIN WAS NOT PART OF RECALL. THEY SAID COST TO REPAIR IS $2000 AND IT'S NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.
HOT AIR BLOWS OUT PASSENGER SIDE. COLD AIR FROM DRIVERS SIDE. THIS HAPPENS WHILE MOVING. STATIONARY. ALL THE TIME. THIS STARTED IN NOVEMBER. ONCE AND THEN APPEARED TO START WORKING PROPERLY. NOW. 1/3/2019 IT STARTED NOT WORKING AT ALL. COLD AIR COMES FROM DRIVERS SIDE ALL THE TIME AND HOT FROM PASSENGERS.
WHEN DRIVING AND THE CAR HITS ~35MPH, THE CVT CONTINUOUSLY LOSES POWER AND BEGINS CAUSING VIBRATIONS AND SHUDDERING. CAR HAS ~64,000 MILES.
MY CAR WINDSHIELD NO LONGER DEFROSTS MAKING VISIBILITY VERY POOR. HEAT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. HAD THE PROBLEM INITIALLY WHEN THE CAR WAS PURCHASED BUT I THOUGHT THE POOR HEAT WAS DUE TO A MORE ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY HEATING SYSTEM. HEAT HAS CONTINUED TO GET WORSE WITH EVERY YEAR OF OWNERSHIP AND HAS NOT STOPPED WORKING ENTIRELY. DEALER SAYS THE HEATER BOX IS DEFECT AND DOES NOT ALLOW AIR OVER HEATER CORE.
NO INCIDENT YET BUT THE FRONT HOOD IS BEGINNING TO CORRODE AND THE CORROSION IS CREEPING UP ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE HOOD. WE HAVE CONTACTED NISSAN WITHOUT SUCCESS. THERE HAS BEEN NO RESOLUTION.
BOUGHT CAR FROM WIN MOTORS TODAY; TOOK TO MECHANIC NEXT DOOR..SAID IT WAS OKAY; WHEN ASKED FOR RECEIPT FOR TESTING MECHANIC SAID HE DID NOT DO THAT. CAR DROVE FINE UNTIL I GOT HOME AND WHEN I MOVED FROM STREET INTO DRIVEWAY, I HEARD GRINDING NOISE ON BRAKES , BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, WHEN SHIFTING GEARS A LOUD SOUND OF STRAINING; PAID CASH FOR USED CAR. REALLY HOPE I CAN RESOLVE WITH 2 DAY RETURN.
THE PASSENGER DOOR DOESN'T LATCH PROPERLY. WHENEVER SOMEONE LEANS ON THE DOOR, IT CAUSES THE WARNING LIGHTS AND THE INTERIOR LIGHTS TO TURN ON.THIS HAPPENS WHETHER OR NOT THE CAR IS IN MOTION. IT'S TERRIFYING.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,954.
VEHICLE HEATER STOPPED BLOWING HOT AIR. IT WILL OCCASIONALLY WORK BUT IT DOES NOT CONSISTENTLY WORK. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF IT HAS BEEN RUNNING FOR A WHILE OR NOT. IT IS A SAFETY CONCERN DURING THE WINTER WHEN THE WINDSHIELD FOGS UP AND VISION IS IMPAIRED DUE TO THE FOG.
BRAKE PEDALS DROPS LOW STOPPING CAR AND LATTER PEDDLE RETURNS BRAKING HIGH, RANDOMLY THIS OCCURS DURING YOUR DRIVE. BRAKE PADS CHECKED WITH NO PROBLEMS, NO LEAKS EITHER. DRIVING FEELS DANGEROUS NO KNOWING IF BRAKES WILL TOTALLY FAIL.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED AT JUST OVER 70K MILES WITH P1740 TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SOLENOID INDUCTIVE SIGNATURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN FOR REPAIR, AND AFTER INSPECTION IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE MATERIALS INSIDE THE TRANSMISSION WERE DETERIORATING, DAMAGING THE BEARINGS AND CAUSING FLUID LEAKAGE AND INADEQUATE PRESSURES IN THE TRANSMISSION. THIS REPAIR IS COSTING ALMOST $3000 AND IS WELL BEFORE STANDARD EXPECTED MAINTENANCE SCHEDULES FOR THE TRANSMISSION.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN ROGUE. WHILE DRIVING AND DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMAL GRINDING NOISE COMING FROM THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ENTERPRISE CAR RENTAL (LOCATED AT 108-14 ASTORIA BLVD, EAST ELMHURST, NY 113692, (718) 672-7631) AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OK TO DRIVE. WHILE DRIVING AND DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE BRAKES FAILED. AS RESULT, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED KNEE AND BACK INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE OTHER DRIVER WAS NOT INJURED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE DRIVEN FROM THE SCENE, BUT THE BRAKE PEDAL HAD TO BE DEPRESSED TO THE FLOORBOARD WHEN APPROACHING A STOP. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR THE BODY DAMAGE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 33,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V244000 (AIR BAGS). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000.
SEAT LATCH THAT MOVES SEAT UP AND DOWN IS BROKE DOESN'T WORK
THE REAR PASSENGER DOOR ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE WILL NOT OPEN FROM THE INSIDE. I HAVE HAD ADJUSTMENTS OF THIS DOOR FOR IMPROPER CLOSING TWICE AND NOW WE CAN'T OPEN IT FROM THE INSIDE. OBVIOUSLY WE ARE STOPPED WHEN ATTEMPTING TO OPEN THE DOOR.

THERE WAS NO WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO NYC MOTORCARS OF QUEENS (LOCATED AT 74-38 QUEENS BLVD, ELMHURST, NY 11373, (718) 578-4847) WHERE AN ALIGNMENT AND WHEEL BALANCE WERE COMPLETED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURES RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 28,450.
WON'T START STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF A STORM

I HAVE SEEN ONLINE THAT THIS VEHICLE HAS MANY COMPLAINTS AND THE SYSTEM AND I DON'T KNOW WHY IT HAS NOT BEEN RECALLED YET. LABOR AND THE WAY THE ECONOMY IS RIGHT WE PEOPLE CAN NOT AFFORD HIGH PRICES LABOR TO GET VEHICLE FIX.
MY 2015 NISSAN ROGUE IS NOT HEATING ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. I TOOK IT IN LAST YEAR AND HAD THE BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR REPLACED AND ONCE AGAIN THIS YEAR IT IS OUT AGAIN. ONLY PROBLEM IS THIS YEAR YOU ARE APPARENTLY UNABLE TO JUST GET THAT PART, YOU HAVE TO BUY THE WHOLE ASSEMBLY AND ITS A DEALERSHIP ONLY ITEM. I HAVE 3 NISSANS, THIS 2015 ROGUE, A 2017 MURANO AND A 2016 ALTIMA. I LOVE THEM, BUT NISSAN NEEDS TO SET UP AND GET THIS TAKEN CARE OF.
TAKATA RECALL, I WAS DRIVING BACK FROM DENVER GOING WEST IN I70. TRIED TO GO OVER EISENHOWER PASS AND MY CAR FELT LIKE IT WAS STUCK GOING UPHILL. IT WOULD NOT ACCELERATE PAST 45MPH EVEN IF I STEPPED ALL THE WAY DOWN ON THE GAS PEDAL. AFTER DRIVING OVER THE THE PASS, GOING DOWNHILL IT SEEMED TO HAVE RESOLVED. BUT NOW EVERYTIME I TRY TO DRIVE UPHILL, IT WILL NOT GO PAST 40-45MPH.
CAR IS JUST A LITTLE OF 3 YEARS OLD WITH 37K MILES AND IT'S BEGUN TO SHOW RUST ON SEVERAL PARTS OF THE FRAME ALREADY. IN MULTIPLE SPOTS, THE PAINT ON THE FRAME WAS CHIPPING AWAY AND RUST WAS VISIBLY PUSHING IT'S WAY THROUGH. IN ONE PARTICULAR AREA, IT WAS SEVERAL INCHES WIDE. THOUGHT THIS WAS ABNORMAL FOR A 3 YEAR OLD CAR!

DRIVING ON I15 NORTH, TRAVELING UPHILL THE CAR LOST POWER TRAVELING 80 MPH SLOWED TO 65 MPH. NO ACCELERATION , TOP OF THE GRADE AND THE CAR RESUMED IT'S NATURAL THRUST. NO PROBLEMS AFTERWARD.
VEHICLE LOSES POWER. THIS IS RANDOM BUT THE ESP LIGHT IS ALWAYS ON WHEN IT HAPPENS. THIS PROBLEM IS WORSE ON INCLINES. THE CAR WILL NOT MOVE. CAR HESITATES WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE. YOU CAN HAVE THE GAS PEDAL ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR AND THE CAR WON'T GO, OR BARELY MOVES.

I PURCHASED A 2015 NISSAN ROGUE ABOUT A YEAR AGO AND I HAD NO PROBLEMS UP UNTIL A MONTH AGO. I EXPERIENCED THE TRANSMISSION JERKING, SHAKING AND SHUDDERING DURING NORMAL OPERATION. I WOULD LOSE ACCELERATION UPON COMPLETING A STOP SIGNAL OR AT THE CHANGE OF A GREEN LIGHT. I ALSO NOTICED FLUIDS LEAKING. UPON TAKING IT TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP, I WAS TOLD IT NEEDED A CVT BODY REPLACEMENT. BECAUSE NISSAN EXTENDED THEIR WARRANTY ON SOME OF THEIR VEHICLES WITH CVT TRANSMISSIONS, MY VEHICLE QUALIFIED BETWEEN THE YEAR/MILEAGE GIVEN. HOWEVER, NISSAN CHOSE NOT TO FIX IT, THAT IT WAS NOT ONE OF THE VEHICLES SPECIFIED. THEN WHY AM I HAVING THESE SAME ISSUES AS THE OTHER VEHICLES? MY VEHICLE WAS PURCHASE A LITTLE OVER A YEAR AND HAS 72K MILES. I'VE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS VEHICLE OTHER THAN NOW WITH IT'S POOR PERFORMANCE, SHAKING AND NO POWER ACCELERATION. I FEAR FOR MY LIFE EVERY DAY WHEN I DRIVE MY VEHICLE. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO FEEL THIS WAY BUT RATHER SAFE KNOWING I AM DRIVING A RELIABLE, SAFE VEHICLE.
GEAR SHIFT CAME OFF IN HAND AND WOULD ONLY GO TURNING AROUND IN DRIVEWAY GEAR SHIFT KNOB CAME OFF IN HAND AND WOULD ONLY SHIFT FROM NEUTRAL TO DRIVE. DEALER TOLD ME WAS NOT COVERED BY ENGINE DRIVETRAIN WARRANTY BECAUSE WAS NOT AN INTERNAL PART. THE CAR WAS BOUGHT NEW AND HAD ONLY 37K ON IT.
ON 7/2/2018 I WAS ON A HIGHWAY AND A VAN PULLED OUT ACROSS MY LANE AND I COULD NOT AVOID HITTING HIM BEHIND THE DRIVERS DOOR. I WAS GOING 45-50 MPH AND NONE OF MY AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. I TURNED SLIGHTLY TO THE LEFT TO LESSEN THE BLOW. MY DAMAGE WAS ALL OF THE FRONT BUMPER, HOOD, BUSTED RADIATOR, PASSENGER SIDE DOOR, FRONT RIGHT WHEEL, PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR. GLASS WAS ON THE DASHBOARD FROM SOMETHING. I'M NOT SURE ABOUT ANY MECHANICAL ISSUES YET ALTHOUGH I'M SURE THERE WILL BE MANY. I HAD WARNINGS GOING OFF AL IN THE CAR. I WAS INJURED IN MY CHEST, STERNUM, NECK AND SHOULDERS. I WAS THROWN FORWARD AND BACK AND TO THE SIDE VIOLENTLY. I CANNOT BELIEVE NONE OF MY AIRBAGS WENT OFF. I COULD NOT BREATHE AND WAS VERY SCARED. I WENT TO THE HOSPITAL AND AM STILL HEALING FROM THIS. I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED IF MY STERNUM OR RIB HAD OF BROKE OR PUNCTURED SOMETHING. I FEEL THIS WAS A FAST ENOUGH SPEED THAT SOMETHING SHOULD HAVE DEPLOYED. THIS COULD KEEP MY VEHICLE FROM BEING TOTALED AND I DON'T WANT IT BACK. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TYPE OF AIRBAGS MINE HAS OR IF THERE WAS A RECALL. *TT

ALSO ANTENNA FOR RADIO NUT WORKING WAS TOLD BY MECHANIC MSMUFACTURER ISSUE. READ ON LINE MANY PEOP,E EXPRESSING FRUSTRATION EITHER NISSAN ON SAME ISSUES. WILL GO TOYOTA FOR NEXT CAR.
AIR CONDITIONING GETS WARM WHEN SET TO COOL. CAUSES PROBLEMS WITH THE DEFROSTER IF TRYING TO DEFROST WINDOWS FROM THE HOT AIR INSIDE THE CAR WHICH AFFECTS VISIBILITY. I HAVE READ HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS FROM OTHERS ABOUT THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. NISSAN CORPORATE ACKNOWLEDGES THE ISSUE, BUT DOES NOT GIVE A RESOLUTION, NOR WILL PUT OUR A RECALL. BESIDES THE INCONVENIENCE OF NOT HAVING COOL AIR IN 100+ DEGREE WEATHER, IT MAKES IT WORSE WHEN YOU CAN'T GET THE WINDOWS TO UNFOG FOR CLEAR VISIBILITY. THIS HAS HAPPENED WHEN DRIVING ON HIGHWAY, LOCAL ROADS, AND ALSO WHEN STATIONARY AT TRAFFIC LIGHTS, AND WHILE IN MY DRIVEWAY TRYING TO LEAVE THE HOUSE. VERY SPORADIC, BUT HAPPENS ALMOST DAILY, SPECIFICALLY MORE IN THE HOTTER SEASONS.
MAY 22, 2018 I WAS DRIVING MY 2015 NISSAN ROGUE DOWN A HIGHWAY WHEN I HEARD WHAT SOUNDED LIKE A GUN SHOT. I PULLED OVER INSPECTED ALL MY TIRES AND MY ENTIRE CAR, THAT IS WHEN I REALIZED MY SUNROOF HAD EXPLODED.
