THE AIRBAG LIGHT ON MY DASH JUST RANDOMLY POPPED UP ABOUT 6 WEEKS AGO AND HAS REMAINED THAT WAY SINCE. OF COURSE THIS LIGHT IS ONLY VISIBLE WHEN THE ONCE U TURN THE KEY IN THE IGNITION.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT 70 MPH AND HEARD A LOUD NOISE, LIKE A GUNSHOT IN MY EAR. I HEARD GLASS FALLING AND LOUD WIND SOUNDS COMING FROM THE SUNROOF. THE SUNROOF SHADE WAS CLOSED BUT I KNEW THE GLASS HAD BROKEN. I PULLED OVER AND THERE WAS A GIANT HOLE IN MY SUNROOF. I WAS NOT NEAR OTHER VEHICLES WHEN IT HAPPENED SO I KNEW IT WASN'T A ROCK. I WAS CONCERNED THAT SOMEONE HAD SHOT AT MY CAR.
ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 24TH AT APPROXIMATELY 11:50AM, MY SUNROOF EXPLODED ON MY 2015 NISSAN ROGUE. WEATHER WAS DRY, ROAD CONDITIONS DRY AND FREE OF DEBRIS. OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE BETWEEN 52 AND 56 DEGREES. NO OVERPASSES WERE TRAVELED UNDER. NO TRAFFIC IN FRONT OF ME. TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 60 ' 63MPH. I HEARD A LOUD EXPLOSION AND GLASS FELL FROM THE SUNROOF ONTO THE ME, THE MIDDLE CONSOLE, BOTH FRONT FLOOR MATS, THE PASSENGER SEAT, REAR SEAT AND REAR FLOOR ON BOTH SIDES. EXPLOSION BLEW UP, NOT DOWN, WITH THE GLASS PUSHED UPWARDS AT THE OPEN, SHATTERED EDGES.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BALISE NISSAN OF WEST SPRINGFIELD (500 RIVERDALE ST, WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA 01089) BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 65,000. *JS
THE SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAGS SUDDENLY DEPLOYED WHILE VEHICLE WAS BEING DRIVEN ON A STRAIGHT, FLAT ROAD. THE POLICE WERE CALLED BUT UNABLE TO MAKE A REPORT BECAUSE THERE WAS NO COLLISION OR DAMAGE. THE AIR BAGS WERE CUT OFF FOR VISIBILITY SO THE CAR COULD BE DRIVEN HOME.
REAR HATCH DOOR WONT CLOSE/LOCK
I NOTICED RECENTLY THAT MY VEHICLE'S HEATER IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY, WHEN I TURN ON THE DEFOGGER/ HEATER, THE PASSENGER SIDE WORKS FINE, BUT THE DRIVER'S SIDE ONLY BLOWS COLD AIR, WHICH, WHEN LIVING IN THE NORTH EAST IS A PROBLEM ON COLD DAYS AS THE WINDOW WILL FOG UP WHILE DRIVING. ALSO, THIS CAUSES ME (THE DRIVER) TO HAVE TO RESORT TO WEARING A SCARF AND GLOVES WHILE DRIVING AS IT'S MY SIDE THAT IS FREEZING. I'VE DONE SOME RESEARCH AND NOTICE THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE NISSAN ROGUE, AND THAT ANY ATTEMPTS TO RE MEDIATE THE PROBLEM IS ONLY TEMPORARY AND HAS BEEN KNOWN TO HAPPEN AGAIN. THIS WINTER (2019-2020) HAS BEEN EXTRA COLD SO I ONLY NOTICED THIS NOW WHEN TRYING TO WARM UP THE CAR.
MY NISSAN ROGUE'S TRANSMISSION STARTING SLIPPING AROUND 70,000 WHILE ACCELERATING FROM 20 -30 MILE PER HOUR
HEY I HAVE A 2015 NISSAN ROGUE SV AND ITS ALWAYS HAVE A VIBRATION WHEN IM COMPLETELY ON A STOP. WHEN VEHICLE IS RUNNING DON'T HAVE VIBRATION AT ALL ONLY WHEN ITS STOP. I TRY TO FIND A RECALL ONLINE BUT SAYS IT HAS 0 RECALLS. I DID A SEARCH ON THIS AND GOOGLE SAYS THERE'S A RECALL ABOUT THIS ON THE 2014-2015. CAN I GET HELP PLEASE THIS IS NOT NORMAL I SAW A LOT OF YOUTUBE VIDEOS AND THIS PROBLEM IS COMMON ON THIS TYPE OF VEHICLES. *TR
THE CAR SHAKES AT LOW SPEED. TRANSMISSION IS BAD.
ON THE HIGHWAY TRAVELING 70 MILES WHEN I FELT THE THE CAR WASN'T PULLING AND THE RPM WENT TO 6 THEN BACK TO 2. THE VEHICLE SLOWED DOWN. EXITED THE HIGHWAY, CHECKED FLUID LEVEL WHICH WAS LOW ADDED 1/2 QUART AND RESUMED DRIVING. NO VISIBLE LEAKS NOTICED ON THIS VEHICLE. PURCHASED NEW IN 2016.

4 PASSENGERS IN OUR AWD ROUGE (2015), WITH A PANORAMIC SUNROOF, WERE DRIVING ON 1-85 FROM LAS VEGAS, NV BACK TO SALT LAKE CITY, UT ON 12/08/2019, IN THE COUNTY OF BEAVER ABOUT 30 MILES FROM FILLMORE, UT, AT ABOUT 75 MPH (80 MPH INTERSTATE SPEED ZONE), WHEN ALL OF THE SUDDEN, WE HEAR A LOUD CRASHING SOUND. THERE WERE NO VEHICLES AROUND US ON THE ROAD, SO WE WERE ALL EXTREMELY TERRIFIED. THE CAR HAD BECOME VERY LOUD AT THAT POINT, AND WE IMMEDIATELY PULLED OVER TO SIDE OF THE ROAD. WE FOUND THAT THE PANORAMIC SUNROOF HAD COMBUSTED, LITERALLY SPONTANEOUSLY. IT WAS COMPLETELY WRECKED AND FOR NO REASON AT ALL. WE TOOK IT TO A SMALL SERVICE STATION AS SOON AS WE COULD, BUT WE WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF SMALL TOWNS WHEN THIS HAPPENED. ALL THEY WERE ABLE TO DO WAS ALLOW US TO VACUUM UP THE GLASS. A FEW OF US HAD CUTS ON OUR BODIES, SO WE BANDAGED THOSE UP WHILE THERE AS WELL. WE CALLED INSURANCE, THERE WERE NO OTHER CARS INVOLVED FORTUNATELY, AS THERE WERE NO OTHER VEHICLES CLOSELY AROUND US WHEN IT EXPLODED. THE INSURANCE COMPANY SAID WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY A $1,000 DEDUCTIBLE FOR THE INCIDENT TO BE REPAIRED. OBVIOUSLY, THIS WAS CONCERNING BECAUSE THIS WAS NOTHING OF OUR DOING. THIS WAS SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THE POOR DESIGN OF THE SUNROOF, AND HAS HAPPENED TO OTHERS AS WELL. NISSAN SHOULD PAY FOR THE DAMAGE, AND IN FACT, SHOULD RE-CALL ALL VEHICLES WITH SUNROOFS TO INSTALL A BETTER DESIGNED SUNROOF WITH APPROPRIATE GLASS. HAD WE HAD OUR SOFT TOP INSIDE OPEN, THERE IS NO TELLING WHAT WOULD OR COULD HAVE HAPPENED AS WE WERE DRIVING AT AN INTERSTATE SPEED. AFTER REVIEWING THE OTHER STORIES OF THIS HAPPENING, THIS NEEDS TO BE RECTIFIED IMMEDIATELY FOR THE SAFETY OF DRIVERS WITH SUNROOFS WITH THIS DESIGN BEFORE SOMETHING FATAL HAPPENS. I WILL BE JOINING THE CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT ALREADY OPEN ON THIS EXACT SCENARIO THAT HAS HAPPENED TO SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE.
WHILE DRIVING THE ALL OF THE VEHICLE WARNING LIGHTS WILL FLASH AND THE VEHICLE COMPLETELY POWERS DOWN. I HAVE TO PUSH ON THE BREAK, PUT THE CAR IN PARK, AND START IT AGAIN TO GET THE VEHICLE TO ACCELERATE AGAIN.
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that there was a strong damp and mold like odor coming from the front driver's side footwell location. The contact stated that the front driver's side footwell was continuously wet in rainy weather. Additionally, the check engine warning light was illuminated intermittently. The contact later received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V024000 (Electrical System) and the vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the wiring harness under the dash was inspected and lithium-based grease was applied on the wires coating for water protection; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed; however, no failure was found. The contact stated that the recall remedy was not effective since it did not address the water leak. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 32,000.
MY 2015 NISSAN ROGUE DOES NOT BLOW THE PROPER TEMPERATURE OUT OF THE VENTS. ONE SIDE OF MY CAR BLOWS COLD AIR, AND THE OTHER BLOWS HOT AIR- REGARDLESS OF WHETHER I AM TRYING TO USE HEAT OR AC.

The contact stated that the chrome covering on all four interior door handles had piled off and exposed extremely sharp edges which caused lacerations to the occupants while attempting to open the doors. The contact indicated that at least five different family members had been injured due to the failure. None of the injuries required medical treatment. The manufacturer and local dealer were both notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 50,000.
FOR NO APPARENT REASON, SEAT BELT WARNING CHIMES DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE , WHEN SEATBELT IS NOT ENGAGED. MY CAR IS UNDER 36000 MILES BUT ALREADY HAVING THIS KIND OF AN ISSUE. NEEDS TO BE A RECALL.
I HAD MY CAR SERVICED AT A NISSAN DEALERSHIP SERVICE. THE VEHICLE STAYED THEIR FOR AT LEAST A WEEK. THEY DID A JOB THAT REQUIRES TAKING OUT THE BATTERY, I GOT THE VEHICLE THE SEAT BELT REMINDER CHIME IS NO LONGER WORKING. I VERIFIED WITH THE CONSUMER AFFAIRS NISSAN AND THEY SAID THAT THE REPAIR IS NOT COVERED UNDER NISSAN SEAT BELT WARRANTY.THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND I BELIEVE IT NEEDS TO BE A RECALL. THANK YOU
heat box malfunction it blows cold air from the driver's side and hot from the passenger side I have difficulty seeing in the rain and snow does not defrost the windshield I have had this problem since I bought the car me and my brother and we purchased two identical 2015 Nissan Rogue at the same time and the same dealer.
MY MECHANIC DISCOVERED A LEAK IN THE REAR MAIN SEAL WHILE PERFORMING REGULAR SERVICE. I MADE AN APPT WITH NISSAN TO INSPECT IT ON 10/5/19. THEY TOLD ME IT LOOKED LIKE A "BUILD UP OF OIL FROM WHEN THE CAR WAS MANUFACTURED AND THEY CLEANED IT" MY MECHANIC TELLS ME THAT IS PROBABLY NOT TRUE BECAUSE IT WAS DRIPPING WHEN HE DISCOVERED IT. WE WILL BE WATCHING IT CAREFULLY, BUT THERE ARE A LOT OF NISSAN AUTOS HAVING THESE LEAKS AND ALSO SERIOUS TRANSMISSION TROUBLE.
DRIVING ON INTERSTATE AT APPROX.70 MPH, AND CRUISE CONTROL KICKED OFF BY ITSELF AT LEAST 3 TIMES. THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN I LOST POWER, IT WAS NOT LIKE A OUT OF GAS LOSS, IT JUST SLOWED DOWN. I HAD THE GAS PEDAL FLOORED TO MAINTAIN SPEED AS I WAS TRAVELING AT 70MPH IN HEAVY TRAFFIC ON INTERSTATE. I MOVED TO THE OUTSIDE LANE TO AVOID ANY CHANCE OF AN ACCIDENT AND TOOK THE NEXT EXIT TO TURN AROUND AND GO BACK HOME. WHEN I GOT ONTO THE ENTRANCE RAMP BACK TO THE INTERSTATE, IT TOOK ME ABOUT 1/2 MILE AT LEAST TO GET UP TO SPEED AGAIN. SINCE I GOT BACK HOME EVERYTHING APPEARS NORMAL BUT I AM AFRAID TO TRAVEL ANY DISTANCE IN CASE I SHOULD LOOSE POWER AGAIN I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE PUT ON THE COMPUTER MONITOR AND THEY SAY NOTHING IS SHOWING AS WRONG. DURING THIS EXAM I WAS TOLD THAT IF THE ENGINE WARNING LIGHT NEVER CAME ON THE COMPUTER CHECK WOULD NOT SHOW ANYTHING. AT NO TIME DURING THE POWER OUTAGE DID THE ENGINE WARNING LIGHT OR ANY WARNING DEVICE SHOW UP.
2015 NISSAN ROGUE, BROUGHT BRAND NEW, HAS 63,000 MILES. HAVING TRANSMISSION ISSUES FOR >9 MONTHS. I HAVE HAD NO PREVIOUS ISSUES UNTIL THEN. I CANNOT DRIVE FOR MORE THAN 30+ MIN BEFORE MY VEHICLE STARTS STALLING AT STOPLIGHTS/STOP SIGNS. WHEN I GO TO ACCELERATE AFTER BRIEFLY STOPPING, THE CAR STUTTERS AND BUCKS UNTIL I PRESS HARDER ON THE ACCELERATION. THE STUTTERING GETS WORSE THE LONGER YOU DRIVE IT. THE SAFETY ISSUE WITH A CAR NOT PROPERLY ACCELERATING WHEN YOU NEED IT TO, IS CONCERNING. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP MULTIPLE TIMES AND THEY CLAIM THEY CANNOT "DUPLICATE" THE ISSUE, WHILE THE TECHNICIAN ADMITTED TO EXPERIENCING MY COMPLAINT WHILE HE DROVE IT A FEW TIMES. THEY SAY NOTHING CAN BE DONE BECAUSE NO CODES ARE RENDERING A PROBLEM AND I HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE "PROBLEM" TO GET WORSE OR ULTIMATELY, UNTIL THE TRANSMISSION "GOES OUT" AS THE NISSAN REP TOLD ME.
VEHICLE HAS STALLED AND WOULD START BUT NOT ACCELERATE AFTER FILLING TANK. THE ENGINE STARTS BUT HESITATES THEN DIES. THIS REPEATS FOR AT LEAST THREE TIMES AND THEN THE VEHICLE STARTS AND DRIVES NORMAL. THIS HAS OCCURRED AT LEAST THREE TIMES AFTER FILLING FUEL TANK IN THE LAST YEAR.
FAILS TO ACCELERATE ON LONG TRIPS, JUST COMPLETELY STOPS ACCELERATING UNLESS VEHICLE IS STOPPED AND ALLOWED TO COOL OFF FOR 10-15 MINUTES
HOOD LATCH- IN MOTION- HIGHWAY. THE HOOD WILL NOT SECURELY LOCK INTO PLACE. WHEN CLOSED/LATCHED THE HOOD CAN STILL BE MOVED UP AND DOWN. IT VISIBLY MOVES AT FREEWAY SPEEDS CAUSING DISTRACTING LINE-OF-SIGHT AND VIBRATING/SHUTTERING FEEL WHILE DRIVING. ALSO CAUSES HEIGHTEN ANXIETY FOR FEAR THAT THE HOOD WILL FLY UP WHILE DRIVING AND CAUSE A DEADLY ACCIDENT. I HAVE WITNESSED AN ALARMING NUMBER OF NISSAN ROGUES AND OTHER NISSAN VEHICLES WITH HOODS VIOLENTLY SHAKING AT FREEWAY SPEEDS. A SIMPLE VISUAL EXAMINATION OF NISSAN VEHICLES AT FREEWAY SPEEDS WILL SHOW THAT THIS IS A PREVALENT AND WIDESPREAD PROBLEM. NISSAN'S OWN INSTRUCTIONS STATE THAT "THE HOOD SHOULD LOCK INTO PLACE." OTHER NISSAN PRODUCTS HAVE ALREADY BEEN RECALLED FOR THIS AND IT IS A TREACHEROUS OVERSIGHT THAT THIS MODEL OF NISSAN ROGUE HAS NOT BEEN RECALLED. REPORTING RECALLS IS NOT AN OBVIOUS PROCESS TO MOST VEHICLE OWNERS. A LOW NUMBER OF REPORTS IS NOT AN INDICATION OF A NEGLIGIBLE PROBLEM. LIVES ARE AT RISK. ACTION IS REQUIRED.
THE UNDERSIDE FEELS LIKE IT HAS BECOME UNSTABLE TOOK IT TO MOSSY NISSAN AND THEY SAID VEHICLE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM WAS UNSTABLE AND THEY FIXED IT. BUT RAN OKAY FOR A MONTH AFTER HAVING 4 ROTORS RESURFACED. CAR FEELS UNSAF
THE MIDDLE SEAT BELT BUCKLE IN THE BACKSEAT WILL NOT UNBUCKLE. THE METAL PART WILL COME AS MUCH AS HALFWAY OUT, BUT CANNOT FULLY BE RELEASED FROM THE BUCKLE. THIS SEAT BELT IS RARELY USED, BUT NOW NO ONE CAN SIT THERE BECAUSE IT IS PERMANENTLY ENGAGED. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY. WE WERE TRYING TO LOAD FIVE PEOPLE IN THE CAR. THE PERSON IN THE MIDDLE SEAT WANTED TO MOVE. THEY COULD NOT REMOVE THE SEAT BELT. WE HAD TO STRETCH THE SEAT BELT AND HAVE THEM CLIMB OUT OF THE LOCKED SEAT BELT. OBVIOUSLY IF THIS HAD BEEN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION, THE OCCUPANT WOULD HAVE BEEN TRAPPED IN THE SEAT BELT.
WHEN I STARTED MY CAR TO LEAVE WORK IT STARTED FINE. I PUT IT IN REVERSE BUT THERE WAS A DELAY OF A FEW SECONDS. THEN ANOTHER DELAY TO GO INTO DRIVE. THE NEXT DAY I HAD A DR APPOINTMENT I COULDN'T MISS SO I START MY CAR & THE SAME DELAYS. I GO TO LEAVE THE DR OFFICE & MY CAR WOULDN'T GO IN ANYWHERE. I SAT IN THE CAR IN DRIVE FOR 10 MINUTES & IT NEVER ENGAGED.
WHILE DRIVING ON I94 IN WISCONSIN MY SUNROOF EXPLODED. I WASN'T BEHIND ANY TRUCKS AND I DIDN'T GO UNDER ANY BRIDGE. I HEARD I HUGE BANG AND WHEN I LOOKED UP MY SUNROOF WAS IN MILLIONS OF TINY BITS. WHEN I PRESSED ON IT, CAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED, THE GLASS CAME FALLING DOWN ON ME AND ALL OVER MY CAR.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS AN UNKNOWN LEAK, BUT THE FAILURES COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE VEHICLE WAS ALSO TAKEN TO ANOTHER REPAIR SHOP WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VAPOR CORE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
TAILGATE CORROSION WHEN VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN A COVERED GARAGE. AUTOMATIC REAR HATCH NO LONGER OPERATES/WORKS.
I GOT A WARNING ON MY DASH. I LOOKED IT UP IN MY OWNERS MANUEL AND IT SAID THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH ONE OR ALL AIR BAGS. IF I WERE TO GET INTO AN ACCIDENT THEY WOULD NOT DEPLOY. I WILL BE MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO GET IT CHECKED OUT.

THE TRANSMISSION DIED AT 110,896 MILES
SUPPLEMENTAL AIRBAG SIGN CAME ON AT 58000 MILES AND WILL NOT GO OFF. MANUAL SAYS TO CONTACT DEALER SINCE POTENTIAL CONCERNS IT MAY NOT DEPLOY IN AN ACCIDENT. DEALER WANT TO CHARGE $150 FOR DIAGNOSIS + FOR REPAIR. A SAFETY RELATED ITEM SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.
DURING A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM, I TRIED USING THE REAR WINDSHIELD WIPER ONLY TO FIND OUT IT WAS INSTALLED INCORRECTLY AND WIPES BACKWARDS (DOWNWARD TOWARDS MY LICENSE PLATE).
I CANNOT BUCKLE MY PASSENGER SIDE SEAT BELT BECAUSE THE BELT WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO PULL TO GET MORE BELT.
TRANSMISSION FAILED AT 62912 MILES. SHUDDER, JERKING, POWER LOSS, WHINING NOISE, LURCHING. THE CAR 'JUMPING' FORWARD ALMOST CAUSED ME TO HIT A CAR IN FRONT OF ME ON THE THOMAS JOHNSON BRIDGE DURING RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC. . THE SUDDEN POWER LOSS CAUSED GREAT CONCERN FOR SAFETY ON THE I-95 BELTWAY. I AM GRATEFUL NO ONE GOT HURT.
When the car is driven in stop and go traffic, the transmission stops working, engine would rev but the car will move at extremely slow speed, at that point, I have to pull over, turn off the car and then start the car again. Upon starting the car again, the transmission will work fine. Nissan Company and the dealers states that the Nissan Rogue transmissions were recalled for other years but not 2015. The issue stated in 2019 and it continues to be the problem. Nissan refuses to fix it.

ON MULTIPLE OCCURRANCES BEGINNING 5/28/20 WHEN DRIVING OR IDLING ON A HOT DAY WITH THE AIR CONDITIONING OPERATING IN EXCESS OF 40 MINUTES, THE BLOWER REMAINS OPERATIONAL BUT THE AIR FLOW TO THE CABIN SLOWLY REDUCES AND THE TEMPERATURE INCREASES TO A POINT AT WHICH IT EXCEEDS THE EXTERIOR AIR IN BOTH TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY. THIS IS DANGEROUS BECAUSE IT MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO BREATHE FOR ALL OCCUPANTS OF THE VEHICLE. IT ALSO SOMETIMES CAUSES A FILM OF CONDENSATION TO APPEAR ON THE INTERIOR SURFACE OF THE WINDOWS MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO SAFELY NAVIGATE. THIS FILM CANNOT BE REMOVED WITH THE WIPERS BECAUSE IT IS NOT EXTERIOR. THIS HAS OCCURRED MOSTLY DURING THE DAYTIME BUT OCCASSIONALLY AT NIGHT, MOSTLY WHILE MOVING BUT OCCASIONALLY WHILE PARKED. THE DEALERSHIP AND INDEPENDENT REPAIR SHOP HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO REPRODUCE THE ISSUE (LIKELY DUE TO INSUFFICIENT DRIVE TIME). THE ISSUE APPEARS TO RESOLVE AFTER THE VEHICLE IS TURNED OFF FOR SEVERAL (NO LESS THAN 30) MINUTES. THE CABIN AIR FILTER HAS BEEN REPLACED AND THE AREA CLEANED OF DEBRIS WITH NO APPRECIABLE CHANGE IN THE ISSUE.
HI, I BOUGHT THE PARTS FROM ROCKAUTO.COM ON 04/02/2019 AND THEY ARRIVED FEW DAYS LATER AND WERE INSTALLED BY A PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC ON THE DAY OF THE DELIVERY. THE PART NUMBER ARE AS FOLLOW MONROE 272898, AND MONROE 272897. THE PARTS WERE INSTALLED ON RIDE SHARING SUV WHICH IS DRIVEN ALMOST CLOSE TO 1000 MILES A WEEK. THE FIRST QUICK STRUT THAT FAILED AND GOT BROKEN WHILE DRIVING WAS ON 05/20/2019 AND IT WAS THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE AND THE SECOND FRONT PASSENGER SIDE QUICK STRUT FAILED AND GOT BROKEN WHILE DRIVING WAS ON 05/25/2019. THE DRIVER SIDE QUICK STRUT FAILURE ALSO CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE DRIVER SIDE AXLE AS WELL. SO BOTH THE MONROE QUICK STRUTS WERE REPLACED BY ORIGINAL USED NISSAN STRUTS ON THE VEHICLE AS WELL THE LEFT AXLE WAS REPLACED BY THE AFTERMARKET COMPANY AXLE. ROCKAUTO.COM WILL ONLY REPLACE THE PARTS WITH ANOTHER SETS OF MONROE QUICK STRUTS AND THEY WILL NOT ISSUE ANY REFUND. I COULD UNDERSTAND IF ONE OF THE STRUT IS DEFECTIVE BUT BOTH OF THEM IS A WHOLE ANOTHER ISSUE. BY VISUALLY I COMPARED BOTH USED NISSAN COMPLETE STRUT ASSEMBLY WITH BRAND NEW MONROE QUICK STRUT AND MONROE QUICK STRUT HAS BEEN MADE POORLY AS THE BUILT QUALITY IS UTTERLY DISAPPOINTING AND CANT HANDLE EVERYDAY USE OF THE SUV. MINOR BUMPS CAUSE NOISES AND THEN FINALLY THEY GIVE OUT BY GETTING BROKEN FROM THE MOUNT ITSELF. IT'S NOT SAFE TO DRIVE WITH THESE MONROE QUICK STRUT INSTALLED ON NISSAN ROGUE MODEL (OLD BODY STYLE). PLEASE TAKE ACTION AND REMOVE THEM FROM ALL THE STORES AS THEY WILL BREAK DOWN AND FALL APART AND COULD CAUSE MAJOR DAMAGE.

CVT TRANSMISSION JERKS IN ECO MODE EACH TIME AFTER RELEASING THE GAS PEDAL, ALSO EVEN WHEN NOT USING ECO MODE THE GRINDING NOISE COMING FROM TRANSMISSION WHEN GOING DOWN THE HILL EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT APPLYING ON THE BRAKE PEDAL, ALSO FRONT PASSENGER SEAT VIBRATES WHEN IN DRIVE MODE AND HOLDING THE BRAKE PEDAL AT THE LIGHT, THE SUV HAS ONLY 33,500 MILES ON IT. IN MY OPINION ALL ISSUES ARE DUE TO MANUFACTURED FAULTY TRANSMISSION. ACCORDING TO MECHANICS CONSULTED WAS TOLD JATCO COMPANY THAT MAKES TRANSMISSION FOR NISSAN MAKES BAD CVT TRANSMISSIONS. A FRIEND'S DAD OWNS A NISSAN ALSO AND HAD HIS CVT TRANSMISSION THAT WENT BAD REPLACED WITH A NEW PURCHASED CVT TRANSMISSION FROM NISSAN DEALERSHIP AND AFTER ABOUT 60,000 MILES HE'S HAVING TRANSMISSION ISSUES AGAIN.

ADDITIONALLY, WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IDLING AT TRAFFIC LIGHTS, THE RPMS WOULD IDLE AT A LOW RATE WITH THE VEHICLE ALMOST AT THE POINT OF STALLING. THE VEHICLE ALSO HESITATED WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO NISSAN OF STOCKTON (LOCATED AT 3077 E HAMMER LN, STOCKTON, CA 95212, (209) 956-6500) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO RETRIEVE A FAULT CODE OR DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED SIX TIMES DAILY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 27,000.
