REAR PASSENGER DOOR WILL NOT CLOSE. CAR HAS 26500 MILES AND IT'S GOING TO THE SHOP FOR THE 2ND TIME SINCE I'VE HAD IT IN 2 MONTHS. THE 1ST INCIDENCE WAS THE DRIVERS WINDOW NOT ROLLING UP AND DOWN PROPERLY. BOTH TIMES, CAR HAS BEEN STATIONARY. THE WAY THE REAR DOOR IS NOW, THE VEHICLE CANNOT BE DRIVEN.
THIS IS A NEW INCIDENT FOR SAME VEHICLE REPORTED IN NHTSA INCIDENT #11308847. THE VEHICLE WAS ATTEMPTED TO BE PICKED UP FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE FEBRUARY 10, 2020 WHEN IT WAS INVOLVED IN A WRECK ON THAT DATE. VEHICLE HAD BEEN WITH NISSAN REPRESENTATIVES CONTINUOUSLY SINCE THAT DATE. THE VEHICLE HAD SAT UNATTENDED FOR SEVERAL MONTHS DUE TO ISSUES REPORTED IN NHTSA INCIDENT #11308847. NISSAN PROVIDED WRITTEN RESPONSE THE VEHICLE'S BODY DAMAGE WAS REPAIRED BUT THEY WERE UNABLE TO REPRODUCE ANY COMPUTER ISSUES. CONSUMER WAS INSTRUCTED TO PICK-UP VEHICLE BY TODAY. THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED WHILE AT THE NISSAN FACILITY AND LEFT RUNNING FOR A LITTLE WHILE AS THE BATTERY HAD COMPLETELY DISCHARGED. DURING THE FINAL CHECK BEFORE I LEFT THE NISSAN FACILITY, THE VEHICLE'S IGNITION WAS ENGAGED AND THE VEHICLE WAS FULLY RUNNING. HOWEVER, NUMEROUS LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD WERE ILLUMINATED THAT SHOULD NOT BE ILLUMINATED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND TURNED ON. THESE LIGHTS INCLUDED POWER STEERING, ABS, BRAKE, CHECK ENGINE, OIL PRESSURE, AND A FEW OTHER LIGHTS. ADDITIONALLY, THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WAS COMPLETELY UNRESPONSIVE IN TERMS OF BLOWING AIR OR RUNNING ANY FANS. THE VEHICLE COULD NOT BE RELEASED BY THE NISSAN FACILITY'S SERVICE MANAGER AND THE VEHICLE WILL BE KEPT FOR FURTHER INVESTIGATION INTO CONTINUING ONBOARD COMPUTER SYSTEMS NOT FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY.*DT*JB*DT THE CONSUMER STATED THE BATTERY HAD LOW VOLTAGE CAUSING THE FAILURES.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 NISSAN ROGUE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNDISCLOSED SPEED, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. ON ANOTHER OCCASION, THE VEHICLE STALLED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 70-80 MPH WITH THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS INTERMITTENT. ADDITIONALLY, ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE AS DESIGNED. THE FAILURE RECURRED TWICE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO ROUTE 22 NISSAN (56 US-22, HILLSIDE, NJ 07205) HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND REMAINED AT THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 25,000.
I WAS DRIVING AT 40MPH ON HWY 26 IN WISCONSIN, WHEN MY VEHICLE SLOWED DOWN ON ITS OWN TO 20MPH. MY ABS, AND BRAKE LIGHT BOTH TURNED ON SINCE. THERE WAS NO CAR IN FRONT OR BEHIND ME.
I WAS DRIVING MY CAR ON THE SUNKEN MEADOWS PARKWAY WITH MY NEPHEW IN THE BACK SEAT. THERE WAS NO CARS IN FRONT OF ME OR OTHER OBJECTS. OUR OF NOWHERE, THE AUTOMATIC BRAKING SYSTEM IN THE CAR WENT OFF WITH WARNING LIGHTS AND THE CAR CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP. MULTIPLE CARS BEHIND ME SWERVED OUT OF THE WAY ALMOST CAUSING A MULTI- CAR ACCIDENT. THIS INSTANCE HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES BEFORE. AFTER EACH INCIDENT, I WENT TO NISSAN 112 AND BROUGHT MY CAR INTO SERVICE. THEY SIMPLY FIXED THE SENSOR OF THE BRAKING SYSTEM UNDER THE RECALL. THIS HAS NOT BEEN A SOLUTION. THE AUTOMATIC BRAKING SYSTEM CONTINUES TO GO OFF IN SITUATIONS WHERE IT SHOULD NOT WHICH CAUSES A HAZARD FOR MYSELF AND OTHER PEOPLE IN MY VEHICLE. *TR
WHILE SLOWING DOWN OR TURNING, VEHICLE IS MAKING WEARIED BROKEN POPPING NOISE FROM REAR WHEELS OR AXLE. I HAVE REQUESTED THE NISSAN DEALER TO DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE, BUT THEY WERE UNABLE TO IDENTIFY THIS ISSUE SINCE 3 WEEKS AND THEN THEY CALLED NISSAN ENGINEER FOR HELP BUT STILL THEY ARE ALSO UNABLE TO IDENTIFY THE ISSUE SO NISSAN ENGINEER CREATED ENGINEERING REVIEW REQUEST FOR THIS ISSUE. TILL NOW NO UPDATE FROM THE DEALER OR NISSAN AND THERE IS NO ET FOR THE FIX.
WIFE GOT HOME FROM STORE PULL UP DRIVEWAY SHUT VEHICLE OFF WAS STEPPING OUT WHEN THERE WAS A POP AND VEHICLE STARTED TO ROLL BACKWARD TAKING HER ALONG DOWN THE DRIVEWAY CRASHING INTO SLIDING GATE.*DT VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER,CONSUMER'S WIFE WAS INJURED. BOUGHT 2 MONTHS AGO. BACK UP CAMERA HARD TO SEE. DARK AND ORANGE DIMLY LIT. UNUSABLE.
MY CAR HAS BEEN DYING INTERMITTENTLY FOR THE PAST FEW MONTHS WHILE STATIONARY. TODAY MY VEHICLE SHUT OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING HOME ON A RESIDENTIAL STREET, TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 35 MILES PER HOUR, CAUSING THE STEERING TO LOCK UP AND MY VEHICLE TO ABRUPTLY STOP. ALL THE INDICATOR LIGHTS SHUT OFF AS WELL. ANOTHER VEHICLE HAD TO SWERVE INTO THE OTHER LANE TO AVOID REAR ENDING ME. *TR
OUR 2018 NISSAN ROGUE AEB SYSTEM IS FALSE BRAKING WHEN IT SHOULDN'T. THE AEB FALSE BRAKING HAS ALMOST CAUSED MULTIPLE ACCIDENTS IF WE DIDN'T OVER POWER THE BRAKE SYSTEM OR TURN IT OFF QUICKLY. ALSO THE AEB SYSTEM TURNS ITSELF OFF WHILE THE CAR IS ON CRUISE CONTROL AT FREEWAY SPEEDS IN RAIN, BRIGHT SUNLIGHT, OR BUMPY ROAD CONDITIONS. THIS ALSO HAS ALMOST CAUSED OUR CAR TO BE REAR ENDED BY ITS ABRUPT SLOWING DOWN. THIS PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED MULTIPLE TIMES OVER THE ONE YEAR WE HAVE OWNED THIS CAR. *TR
THE INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM, WHICH INCLUDES THE CAMERAS AND NAVIGATION SYSTEM RANDOMLY REBOOTS ITSELF. WHILE USING NAVIGATION THE ENTIRE SYSTEM WILL REBOOT ITSELF. SOMETIMES THE TOUCH SCREEN WILL FREEZE UP AND IT HAS TO BE MANUALLY REBOOTED. THE INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT HAS YOUR BACKUP CAMERAS AND NAVIGATION SYSTEM. HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES TILL NOW. CAR RANDOMLY BRAKES (AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKE) I'M THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WHILE DRIVING. I HAD A NEAR MISS YESTERDAY AND OTHER CLOSE SITUATIONS. THIS HAPPENED ON CITY ROADS 3 TIMES AND THE HIGHWAY ONCE. *TR
THE BACKUP CAMERA IS FREEZING AT RANDOM WHEN I AM BACKING UP CAUSING ME TO HAVE TO STOP AND PUT THE VEHICLE IN PARK AND TURN THE VEHICLE OFF AND BACK ON TO RESET THE BACKUP CAMERA TO GET IT TO UNFREEZE TO GET IT TO FULLY WORK AGAIN. OTHERWISE IT REMAINS FROZEN EVEN WHEN I PUT THE VEHICLE IN DRIVE AND DRIVE TO A NEW AND LEAVE THE VEHICLE RUNNING AND STOP AND BACKUP THE BACKUP CAMERA IS STILL FROZEN NOT UNTIL I TURN THE VEHICLE OFF DOES THE BACKUP BECOME UNFROZEN. THIS IS A RANDOM HAPPENING, AND DOES NOT HAPPEN ALL THE TIME AND I CAN NOT PREDICT WHEN IT WILL OCCUR THE NEXT TIME. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE THAT COULD CAUSE ME TO HIT A CHILD THAT COULD RANDOMLY RUN OUT BEHIND MY VEHICLE WITHOUT WARNING IN A PARKING LOT OR WHEN BACKING OUT OF A DRIVEWAY. THIS HAS HAPPENED ABOUT 25 TIMES NOW SINCE THE RECALL OF THE RECALL WAS REPAIRED ON MY 2018 NISSAN ROUGE SV BEFORE THE RECALL AND 1200 MILE SERVICE WAS DONE ION MY VEHICLE HAD NO ISSUES WITH MY UNTIL I HAD ALL THIS WORK DONE. THE ISSUE WITH MY BACKUP HAPPENS IN PARKING LOTS DRIVEWAYS IT DOES NOT MATTER WHEN I PARK IT IS A RANDOM OCCURRENCE THAT HAPPENS WHEN I PUT THE VEHICLE IN REVERSE DAY OR NIGHT. IT JUST HAPPENS OUT OF THE BLUE. AND SCARES ME WHEN IT DOES AND I HAVE TO BE MORE ALERT TO EVERYTHING AROUND ME IN MY MIRRORS TO MAKE SURE I DO NOT HIT ANYTHING OR ANYONE. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED AND I KNOW IF IT IS HAPPENING TO MY VEHICLE IT HAS TO BE HAPPENING TO OTHERS I CAN NOT BE THE ONLY PERSON WITH THIS ISSUE. *TR

THE CONTACT PARKED ON THE SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, RESTARTED THE VEHICLE AND DROVE TO HER DESTINATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS TO PLANET NISSAN (5850 CENTENNIAL CENTER BLVD, LAS VEGAS, NV 89149; (702) 425-8141), TO BE DIAGNOSED. ON THE FIRST VISIT THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE AEB SENSOR NEEDED TO BE RESET HOWEVER, THE CONTACT WAS UNSURE IF THE MECHANIC HAD RESET THE SENSOR. THE CONTACT STATED IN ADDITION THAT THE CLIPS HOLDING THE PANELS OF THE VEHICLE, WERE DETACHING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AUTONATION NISSAN LAS VEGAS (5800 W SAHARA AVE, LAS VEGAS, NV 89146;(702) 570-1013) AND WAS INFORMED THAT BODYWORK WAS NEEDED TO REPAIR THE ISSUE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 40,729. *LN *AS *BF*JB
IT HAPPENED TWICE - SERVICE BRAKES - 1 IN THE FREEWAY (55 MPH) ALL OF A SUDDEN ALL OF A SUDDEN IT SLOWED DOWN AND IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS GOING TO STOP , GOOD THING NO CARS INFRONT OF ME , AND OTHER ONE IN LOCAL STREET DRIVING 35MPH IT STOPPED ALL OF A SUDDEN TOO . I READ A LOT OF OWNERS REVIEWS OR COMPLAINTS AND THEY'RE GOING THROUGH SAME ISSUES .
The front seat rocked so bad I had to hang on to the steering wheel when braking and turning. Again, a huge safety issue. After arguing with Nissan that this was a safety issue they replaced the frame under the drivers side seat and I paid a $100.00 deductible. They said my extended warranty did not cover it, I really had to fight to get help on this. Safety issues should be covered no matter what, it's their fault. There's all kinds of complaints about this online. I should have complained a year ago to you but was unaware of the NHTSA. Sorry, I don't have documentation. DRIVING ON MAJOR ROADWAY ABOUT 40 MPH BRAKING SYSTEM INITIATES ON ITS OWN WITH NO OTHER CARS AROUND ME. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. TWICE BROUGHT BACK TO DEALER AND SENSOR CHANGED OR RECALIBRATED. THIS CURRENT TIME BROUGHT CAR IN AND THEY COULD FIND NOTHING WRONG. *TR
The backup camera picture/screen has randomly cut out while backing up putting myself and whatever is behind me at risk for collision. In the section where it asks for the date, it's happens randomly since I bought it. Whenever I've taken it to my mechanic they have not been able to reproduce it. The emergency braking system has activated with nothing around. It's in the dealers now. It was listed as a recall on a RI safety but not associated with my vin so the nissan dealer is saying that it's not covered under recall because it shows only the brake recall. the software update is costing me 169. He says that it should fix both problems.
ON MARCH 31, 2020, WHILE SLOWING FOR A TRAFFIC LIGHT, MY VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY AND AS I CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP, THE ENGINE SHUT OFF. UPON TAKING THE VEHICLE TO A LOCAL NISSAN DEALERSHIP, I WAS INFORMED THAT THE ENGINE WIRING HARNESS WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THIS IS A PROBLEM, IN AND OF ITSELF, BECAUSE THIS COMPONENT CAN TYPICALLY LAST FOR THE LIFETIME OF A VEHICLE EXCEPT IN CASES FOR WHICH THERE IS EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE SUCH AS AN ACCIDENT OR FLOOD, NEITHER OF WHICH HAVE BEEN THE CASE. MULTIPLE EXTERNAL SERVICE TECHNICIANS HAVE AGREED THAT THIS TYPE OF MECHANICAL FAILURE SHOULD NOT BE OCCURRING IN A NEWER MODEL VEHICLE WITH LESS THAN 50,000 MILES. IT IS MY FIRM BELIEF THAT THE MECHANICAL FAILURE OF A COMPONENT WHICH RARELY FAILS POINT TO POOR QUALITY OF CRAFTSMANSHIP AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED AS A POTENTIAL RECALL ISSUE AS IT POSES A SAFETY ISSUE AND THE OCCURRENCE OF SUCH AN ISSUE AT THIS STAGE OF A VEHICLE'S LIFE IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY.
MY VEHICLE WOULD NOT START THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS AND THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME IT WAS THE BATTERY HOWEVER IT KEEPS HAPPENING AND THEY WILL NOT CHECK THE ALTERNATOR. IF THE ALTERNATOR IS BAD MY BATTERY WILL NOT STAY CHARGED AND THEY SHOULD KNOW THAT AS A MECHANIC. FIRST TIME SIMPLY CHARGED MY BATTERY, SECOND TIME REPLACED MY BATTERY, THIRD TIME JUST LET MY CAR SIT FOR DAYS TO SEE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN SO I HAD TO PICK IT UP WITHOUT IT BEING RESOLVED. *TR
I WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40MPH ON A CITY STREET STRAIGHT THROUGH AN INTERSECTION IN WHICH I HAD A GREEN LIGHT WHEN MY NISSAN ROGUE ALERTED ME MY AEB WAS ACTIVATING EVEN THOUGH THERE WERE NO OTHER CARS AROUND ME. MY CAR SUDDENLY SLAMMED ON THE BRAKES, FORCING IT TO MAKE A GRINDING SOUND, AND CAME TO AN ABRUPT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE INTERSECTION. I WOULD LIKE TO NOTE THAT WHEN I TOOK MY CAR TO A NISSAN DEALERSHIP A FEW DAYS AFTER THE INCIDENT TO FLASH THE ECU (WHAT I FOUND ONLINE AS THE SOLUTION PER NISSAN), THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THEY COULD NOT CORRECT THE ISSUE UNLESS THE ROGUE WAS CURRENTLY MALFUNCTIONING DESPITE NISSAN ISSUING A STATEMENT SAYING THEY HAD INFORMED ALL THEIR DEALERSHIPS OF THE ISSUE AND SOLUTION. I FOUND THIS EXTREMELY UNSAFE THAT THE DEALERSHIP WAS NOT WELL-INFORMED ON THIS SAFETY ISSUE. FORTUNATELY, I CONTACTED ANOTHER NISSAN DEALERSHIP WHO WAS INFORMED OF THE ISSUE AND WILL FLASH THE ECU.
AIRBAG LIGHT ON
WHILE TRAVELING AT 35 MPH ON A CITY STREET THE CRASH AVOIDANCE SYSTEM STARTED BEEPING, THE DASH DISPLAYED WARNING ICON AND THE VEHICLE BRAKING SYSTEM ENGAGED WITH NO OBSTRUCTION ANYWHERE NEAR THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. ENGAGEMENT WAS BRIEF < 2 SECONDS AND TAPPING THE BRAKE PEDAL CLEARED ISSUE.
I HAD AN ISSUE A COUPLE TIMES SINCE OWNING THE VEHICLE (PRE SOFTWARE UPDATE DUE TO RECALL) WHERE YOU WOULD PUT THE VEHICLE IN REVERSE AND THE BACKUP CAMERA WOULD COME UP AND YOU START REVERSING ONLY TO REALIZE THAT THE VIDEO FROM THE BACK UP CAMERA IS IN FACT FROZEN. THE RECALL WAS ISSUED LAST FALL WHICH I THOUGHT WAS TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE. NOW THAT I HAVE THE NEW SOFTWARE UPDATE, THE ISSUE HAS BECOME SO MUCH MORE PREVALENT THAN IT EVER WAS BEFORE. I AM NOW ENCOUNTERING THE ISSUE ON A WEEKLY BASIS. I NOTIFIED NISSAN BUT FIGURED IT COULDN'T HURT TO MAKE YOU ALL AWARE AS WELL SINCE THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE IF YOU CANNOT TRUST THE BACKUP CAMERA TO WORK.
Nissian refused to fix this problem, even though it occurs on hundreds of cars made in Korea I believe it is a safety problem and indicates a false temperature reading but am not sure. please read letter i sent them Case #[XXX] Note only cars beginning vin with KN are affected INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
OVER THE LAST FEW WEEKS I NOTICED MY BACK UP CAMERA FREEZING UP, YESTERDAY AS I WAS BACKING UP THE SCREEN WENT COMPLETELY BLANK. SO I PLACED IN PARK, TURNED THE CAR OFF AND WENT TO PUSH START, I RECECIVED A NO KEY DETECTED ERROR, TRIED AGAIN AND IT STARTED UP JUST FINE AND THE SCREEN WAS BACK TO WORKING AGAIN

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MODERN NISSAN OF WINSTON SALEM LOCATED AT (5795 UNIVERSITY PKWY, WINSTON-SALEM, NC 27105 (877) 607-8584) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE AIRBAG SENSOR WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE CONTACT REFERENCED THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V2440000 (AIR BAGS) AS A POSSIBLE SOLUTION TO THE FAILURE HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 14,000.
WHEN USING MY SPEED CONTROL A YELLOW LIKE START FLASHING ON AN OFF. AS WELL AS MY FRONT SAFETY SHIELD BEGIN FLASHING ON AN AND OFF. BRAKE SQUEAL WHEN GOING DOWN A SMALL INCLINE.
THE AUTOMATIC BREAKING FEATURE TRIGGERED 6 TIMES ON 2/15/2020 CAUSING US TO ALMOST WRECK MULTIPLE TIMES. THE FEATURE WAS ENGAGED WITH NO CARS IN THE AREA.

WHILE DRIVING MY 2018 NISSAN ROGUE TO WORK ON A SUNNY FLORIDA MORNING, I EXPERIENCED A TECHNICAL ISSUE WITH MY VEHICLE AROUND 8:00 AM EST. WHILE SLOWING DOWN APPLYING MY BRAKES AS I APPROACHED A MAJOR INTERSECTION WITH TRAFFIC, MY ROGUE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN ACCORD CAUSING ME TO CRASH INTO A VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME. DURING THE ACCELERATION, THE VEHICLE'S ONBOARD AUTOMATED EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM WAS SOUNDING ALARMS BUT DID NOT BRAKE THE VEHICLE. INSTEAD IT FELT LIKE THE VEHICLE WAS ACCELERATED INSTEAD. A LOUD GRINDING SOUND COULD BE HEARD AT THE POINT OF IMPACT WITH THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME AND FOR ABOUT A SECOND OR SO AFTERWARDS. THANKFULLY THE SPEED WAS LOW ONLY RESULTING IN MINOR BODY DAMAGE TO MY VEHICLE AND NO VISIBLE DAMAGE TO THE OTHER VEHICLE.*DT *TP THE END RESULT WAS I SUSTAINED MULTIPLE BACK INJURIES - LOWER AND NECK REGIONS SIMULTANEOUSLY. I SUSPECT THIS IS DUE TO THE FACT I WENT FROM SLOWING DOWN TO SUDDEN ACCELERATION AND THEN FINALLY TO FULL SUDDEN STOP. THANKFULLY, I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN MY VEHICLE. ALL OF THIS WAS CAUGHT ON MY DASH CAMERA INCLUDING THE SOUNDS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKING TO BILL RAY NISSAN IN LONGWOOD, FL WHICH WERE UNABLE TO PULL ANY DIAGNOSTIC CODES AND HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE ISSUE. WHEN DEPRESSING A BRAKE TO SLOW A VEHICLE DOWN, THE VEHICLE SHOULD NOT ACCELERATE BY ITSELF. THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT SAFETY ISSUE. VEHICLE BEGINS TO SHAKE ROUGHLY WHEN GOING 55MPH OR MORE. THE WOBBLE EVEN MADE MY SEATBELTS LOCK UP. SEEMS TO BE COMING FROM AROUND THE TIRES MAYBE THE SUSPENSION. DOOR TO DOOR NAVIGATION IS NOT ACCURATE. SOMETIMES I AM OFF A HALF MILE OFF FROM DESTINATION I INPUT. COMPLAINT WAS MADE TO NISSAN SERVICE DEPT. THEY TRIED A FEW THINGS BUT STILL NOT ACCURATE AT ALL. THEY TESTED IT AND SAID IHAT THE NAVIGATION IS DOING WHAT ITS DESIGN TO DO.
THE AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKE KEEPS COMING ON WHILE DRIVING. I HAVE BEEN ON ROADS WHERE I AM THE ONLY CAR AND IT HAS HAPPENED AND MOST RECENTLY ON THE HIGHWAY WITH CARS SPEEDING BEHIND ME ALMOST HITTING ME. THERE ARE NO OBSTRUCTIONS OR CARS IN FRONT OF ME WHEN THIS IS HAPPENING.

I WAS NOT NEAR ANY OTHER VEHICLES AND NOTHING STRUCK THE CAR. IT SPONTANEOUSLY EXPLODED. THIS PROBLEM SHOULD BE FIXED BEFORE SOMEONE IS HURT.
I BOUGHT A USED, 1 YEAR OLD, 2018 NISSAN ROGUE, AT A FLORIDA HONDA DEALERSHIP IN MARCH OF 2019. SINCE I HAVE OWNED THIS VEHICLE IT HAS SLAMMED ON THE BREAKS SEVERAL TIMES, WHILE DRIVING ANYWHERE FROM 50-80 MPH, FOR NO APPARENT REASON. JUST IN THE LAST WEEK IT HAS SLAMMED ON THE BREAKS 2X FOR NO REASON. LUCKILY NO ONE WAS CLOSE TO THE BACK END OF MY CAR OR THEY WOULD HAVE HIT ME. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR. I HAVE READ MANY REPORTS RECENTLY THAT THIS SEEMS TO BE A MAJOR ISSUE WITH THIS CAR YET NISSAN WILL NOT DO A RECALL ON IT. I WILL OWN THIS LEMON FOR 6 YEARS IF NOTHING IS DONE ABOUT IT.

I OPENED THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR & TOLD MY SON TO GO IN THE HOUSE. STANDING ON MY DRIVEWAY, I GOT MY BAGS & REACHED ACROSS TO PRESS THE KEYLESS START BUTTON. AS SOON AS I DID, THE CAR BEGAN TO ROLL BACKWARDS AND HIT A TREE. THE CAR DOOR PUSHED ME DOWN THE DRIVEWAY. THANKFULLY, I WAS ABLE TO GET LEAP FREE, JUST AS THE CAR REALLY PICKED UP SPEED. IT FINALLY CRASHED INTO A TREE IN MY NEIGHBOR'S YARD, LANDING OVER A DRAINAGE DITCH B/W OUR HOMES. THERE WERE ONLY MINOR INJURIES. THE CARSEAT HEADREST BROKE. THE VISIBLE CAR DAMAGE IS ON THE REAR BUMPER/LIFTGATE AND THE PASSENGER DOOR. SHAKEN, I DIDN'T THINK TO TAKE PHOTOS OR CALL THE POLICE. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION DRIVING STRAIGHT AT APPROXIMATELY 30 MILES PER HOUR, AT 7:52AM ON UNIVERSITY BLVD AT HIGHWAY 75, THE AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM ENGAGED FOR NO REASON CAUSING THE VEHICLES BRAKES TO INAPPROPRIATELY ENGAGE. THIS WAS A FAILURE OF THE AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM DUE TO THE RANDOM NATURE AND THE FACT THERE WAS NO HAZARD OR CONDITION REQUIRING THE AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING TO BECOME ENGAGED. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED AND AT LEAST ONE PREVIOUS SAFETY COMPLAINT HAS BEEN ENTERED. THIS FAILURE OF THE AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM DO CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO STOP AND IS A VERY SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN.
