MY CAR HAS STALLED TWICE NOW.... BOTH WHILE DRIVING RIGHT BEFORE IT STALLS I TRY TO ACCELERATE AND IT WON'T GO. JUST STALLS.... HAVE TO TURN THE CAR TOTALLY OFF AND THEN RE-START. SO FAR IT HAS RE-STARTED EVERY TIME BUT WHY!!! THIS HAS DONE THIS TWICE AND ONCE IN HEAVY TRAFFIC. VERY DANGEROUS.....
REAR HATCH DOOR IS NOT LOCKING. I HAVE TO MANUALLY PUCH THE HANDLE DOWN TO LOCK THE DOOR.
WHENEVER I STEP ON THE BRAKES SLOWLY THE CAR WANTS TO TURN OFF. IT PUSHES ITSELF. ALSO WHEN I STEP ON THE GAS IT LAGS TO SPEED UP.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN VERSA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, WHILE THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO LOSE POWER AND JERK, THE CONTACT VEERED TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD WHERE ANOTHER VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE REAR VEHICLE, CONTACT PLACED VEHICLE IN PARK TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF AND BACK ON WHICH FAILED TO RESUME BACK TO NORMAL. NO AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. CONTACT SUSTAINED CHEST INJURIES FROM HITTING STEERING WHEEL. NO MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS CONTACTED. NO POLICE REPORT WAS MADE. THE VEHICLE RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE'S TO THE REAR BUMPER. THE CONTACT MANAGED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE TO THE CONTACT DEALER (NISSAN SOUTH UNION CITY 4080 JONESBORO RD, UNION CITY, GA 30291 (678) 379-2598) WHERE IT WAS TEST DRIVEN BUT UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE ISSUES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED, STATED ISSUES CONTINUED. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE RESIDENTS WHERE AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC CAME OUT AND DIAGNOSES THE VEHICLE WHICH DETERMINED THAT THE TCM (TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODEL) FAULTILY AND NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT NO RECALLS WAS UNDER THE VIN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE APPROXIMATELY 66,000. *LN*JB
I HAD PREVIOUSLY MADE NISSAN AWARE OF A PROBLEM WITH MY CAR STALLING AND SHUTTING OFF. THEY ASSURED ME NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE, THE CAR CONTINUED TO STALL AND WOULD NOT ACCELERATE. MONTHS LATER IT WOULD NOT ACCELERATE AND WOULD DECREASE IN SPEED WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY. THE VEHICLE WOULD ALSO NOT MOVE WHEN I WOULD PRESS ON THE GAS AT A RED LIGHT OR STOP; I WOULD HAVE TO TURN IT OFF AND BACK ON. THEN IT STARTED TO FAIL GOING IN REVERSE AND SHUTTING OFF AGAIN WHILE DRIVING. MANY OTHER NISSAN VERSA OWNERS HAVE COMPLAINT OF VEHICLES STALLING. THE VEHICLES ARE A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN AND I BELIEVE NISSAN KNOWS THIS. I HAVE NOW BEEN TOLD THAT THE TRANSMISSION DOES NOT WORK. WHY HAS NISSAN NOT DONE SOMETHING ABOUT THE TERRIBLE TRANSMISSIONS?
WHILE DRIVING, NOTICED MOSTLY AFTER EXITING THE HIGHWAY, THE BRAKE PEDAL WILL BE SPONGY. THIS HAPPENS INTERMITTENTLY AND CANNOT BE PREDICTED IN ADVANCE. THE VEHICLE DOES STOP, BUT BRAKING TAKES LONGER THAN NORMAL.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN VERSA. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED INTERMITTENTLY. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. GWINNETT PLACE NISSAN (2555 PLEASANT HILL RD, DULUTH, GA 30096, (877) 567-8412) DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
3 YEARS AFTER PURCHASE, THE CAR HAS STALLED ON A CROSS STATE TRIP. LOST THE PURCHASE OF THE TRIP AND TIME. VEHICLE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TURNED ON AND VEHICLE CUTS OFF. STARTED UP, VEHICLE LURCHES FORWARD AND STOPS AGAIN. CALLED A TOW-TRUCK-- HAULED INTO A NISSAN DEALERSHIP, WHO INFORMS THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDS REPLACING. CVT TRANSMISSION IS INSTALLED ON VEHICLE. WHY? DEALERSHIP HAS INFORMED THAT WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THIS VEHICLE.??
I PURCHASED A USED 2015 NISSAN VERSA FROM DRIVETIME BACK ON 04/20/18 WITH 46,732 MILES ON IT. I HAVE HAD IT FOR ALMOST 8 MONTHS AND IT NOW HAS CLOSE TO 60,000 MILES. I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH DRIVING HERE IN THE LAST COUPLE MONTHS WITH THE CAR SHUTTING DOWN, TRANSMISSION JERKING & TRANSMISSION SLIPPING. I TOOK IT TO A REPAIR SHOP WHO ADVISED ME THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THEY QUOTED ME BETWEEN $2000.00 TO $4000.00 DEPENDING IF I BUY A USED OR NEW TRANSMISSION. I CHECKED ONLINE AND SEE THAT THIS IS WELL KNOW PROBLEM WITH NISSAN VEHICLES, WITH THEIR CVT TRANSMISSION. IT SHOWS THAT THEY EXTENDED THE WARRANTY OUT TO 10 YEARS AND 120,000 ON SOME OF THE THEIR VEHICLES WITH THE CVT TRANSMISSION. HOWEVER, I JUST CALLED MY LOCAL NISSAN DEALERSHIP AND THEY ADVISED ME THAT MY VEHICLE IS NOT COVERED UNDER THIS EXTENDED WARRANTY. I WOULD LIKE TO FILE A COMPLAINT AND ADVISE THAT THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. FOR THE CAR TO SHUT DOWN IN THE MIDLE OF THE HIGHWAY WHILE IM DRIVING IT, COULD RESULT IN ME BEING INVOLVED IN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT OR BEING KILLED. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT REMEDIES I HAVE GOING FORWARD WITH THIS ISSUE. THANK YOU.
POWER STEERING LIGHT COMES ON AND POWER STEERING IS LOST MAKING IT HARD TO TURN WHEEL. THIS HAS HAPPENED WHILE TURNING THE WHEEL ALL THE WAY WITH THE VEHICLE IN MOTION LUCKILY AT LOW SPEED. IT HAS BEEN ON THE SHOP AND THEY SAID EVERYTHING LOOKED FINE. IT HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS. AFTER SHUTTING THE ENGINE OFF AND RESTARTING, CONTROL IS GAINED AGAIN.
WHEN I FIRST PURCHASE THE NISSAN VERSA 2015 IN SEPT. 2015, THE CAR WAS USED IT HAD 15,000 MILES ON IT. I TEST DROVE IT A LITTLE BIT WHEN I TRIED TO DRIVE IT OFF I NOTICED THE TRANSMISSION WAS ACTING UP BEFORE I GOT OFF THE STOCKTON DEALERSHIP. I BROUGHT IT BACK AND THEY TEST DROVE IT. THEY SAID YES THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG AND REPLACE IT. NOW, I AM THINKING BACK, THE DEALERSHIP KNEW THE TRANSMISSION WAS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY. BEFORE I PURCHASED THE CAR. THE DEALERSHIP CONVINCED ME TO GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. I AM THINKING WHY IS A BRAND NEW CAR WITH 15,000 MILES ON IT.. SO, IT TOOK ABOUT A MONTH TO REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION AND IT DROVE OK. THEN IN 2017, I NOTICED A SMALL SLIPPING NOISE, LIKE A SMALL DRUMROLL EVERY NOW AND THEN. THEN FINALLY I TOOK THE CAR TO OAKLAND DEALERSHIP IN 2017 AROUND 88,000 MILES. THEY COULDN'T LOCATE THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEM OR NOISE. IN A FEW DAYS, I PICK UP THE CAR AND AS SOON AS I DROVE IT I HEAR THE SLIPPING DRUMROLL SOUND. I TOOK IT BACK AND THE DEALERSHIP SAID WE TESTED AND THE TRANSMISSION WAS FINE. I WAS DISCOURAGED WITH THE RESULTS, NOW IT JAN 2019, MANY MONTHS LATER, AND TRANSMISSION SLIPPING AND EXPIRED WARRANTY. THE TRANSMISSION SLIPPING, MORE FREQUENT LOUD DRUMROLL NOISE AND SHAKING WHILE TRYING TO ACCELERATE THE CAR. I LOOKED IT UP ON GOOGLE AND I NOTICED THAT NISSAN DOUBLED THE EXTENDED WARRANTY ON THEIR TRANSMISSION. TODAY, I WENT TO THE OAKLAND DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID MY NISSAN VERSA IS NOT UNDER THAT EXTENDED WARRANTY. HOW CAN THIS BE? THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS AND FAILURES ABOUT THE NISSAN TRANSMISSION. NISSAN AND DEALERSHIP KNEW ABOUT THE TRANSMISSION FAILURE IN THE VERSA. RIGHT NOW, I FEEL THE CAR IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE ON THE STREET BECAUSE THE TRANSMISSION WILL FAIL AN ANY GIVEN TIME AND DRIVING CONDITION. PLEASE RECALL ALL NISSAN VERSA AND HAVE THE COMPANY FIX THIS RECURRING TRANSMISSION ISSUE.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER AND WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 37662491. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 117,000.
THE VEHICLE STOPPED SUDDENLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET WHILE BEING DRIVEN. THE VEHICLE SOMETIMES STALLS WHEN ATTEMPTING TO DRIVE.
NISSAN INFINITI CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT TAKATA AIRBAG
IGNITION SWITCH FAILURE AND KEY CANNOT BE REMOVED. CAR CAN BE DIFFICULT TO SHUT OFF AND STEERING WHEEL CAN BE DIFFICULT TO PUT INTO LOCK POSITION. SAFETY CONCERN WITH PARKING AND LEAVING KEY IN ALL THE TIME (ESPECIALLY WITH SMALL CHILDREN).
THE ENGINE LIGHT DOESN'T TURN OFF AND THE COMPUTER SAYS ELECTRONICAL REASON . THE SPEED IS LOW
WHILE DRIVING HOME FROM WORK A DEER RAN IN FRONT OF MY VEHICLE AND AT 62 MPH ON A HIGHWAY MY CAR COLLIDED WITH A DEER. AS YOU WILL SEE THE DAMAGE DONE TO MY CAR THE CAR IS A POSSIBLE TOTALED VEHICLE. MY CONCERN WAS MY AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY ON THIS KIND OF IMPACT. I WAS TOLD BY NISSAN THEY ARE NOT MADE TO DEPLOY UPON IMPACT BUY ONLY BY THE DECELERATION OF MY CAR. THIS DOES NOT SEEM TO BE ACCURATE TO ME IN THE FACT THAT IT WAS OVER A 200 POUND ANIMAL AND MY ENGINE WAS PUSHED BACK INTO THE FIREWALL, LOST MY BREAKS IN THE ROAD, AND AS YOU CAN SEE THERE IS A LOT OF DAMAGE DONE TO THE CARE. I CALLED NISSAN TO EXPRESS MY CONCERN OF THIS AND THEY SAID IT IS NORMAL AND THE AIR BAGS WOULD HAVE CAUSED MORE DAMAGE TO ME THEN THE IMPACT. I FEEL THEY ARE BLOWING OFF SOMETHING THAT COULD BE A SAFETY ISSUE IN THIS CAR.

COLONIAL DR, ORLANDO, FL) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT AN ENGINE SENSOR WAS FAULTY. THE SENSOR WAS REPLACED, BUT THE BUCKING CONTINUED. ALSO, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT ACCELERATE ABOVE 30 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 64,000.
I BOUGHT THIS VERSA BRAND NEW AT THE DEALERSHIP. AFTER A YEAR FROM THE PURCHASE DATE THE DEALER WENT OUT OF BUSINESS AND WAS BOUGHT OUT. THE FIRST YEAR I HAD IT I CAME IN OFTEN WITH TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS, BUT WAS TOLD IT WAS NOTHING AND TO GIVE IT MORE GAS WHEN IT ACTED LIKE IT WAS HAVING TROUBLES. EVERYTIME I WENT FOR AN OIL CHANGE, EVEN MY FIRST OIL CHANGE, THEY WOULD COME BACK WITH 600 DOLLARS WORTH OF FILTERS OR THE BRAKE FLUID NEEDED TO BE CHANGED. I QUIT GOING THERE FOR MY CAR, BECAUSE OF THE CONSTANT PRESSURE TO SPEND MONEY ON ISSUES I WASNT HAVING. THEY NEVER WANTED TO LOOK AT THE TRANSMISSION OR ANYTHING. NOW AFTER 65K THE TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN REPLACED, MY RUNNING TAILLIGHTS DO NOT WORK, SOME UNKNOWN ELECTRICAL ISSUE, AND THE CAR JUST TURNS OFF ON IT'S OWN WITH NO WARNING. BEFORE THE TRANNY WENT OUT I WAS DRIVING 70 MPH DOWN THE INTERSTATE AND THE CAR SHUT OFF WITH NO WARNING NEARLY CAUSING AN ACCIDENT WITH A SEMI, THE DEALER DOES NOT WANT TO FIX THAT PROBLEM BC IT CAN NOT REPLICATED. THAT'S THEIR ANSWER TO ANY PROBLEM THAT'S NOT EXPENSIVE OR QUICK. IF IT CAN NOT BE REPLICATED THEN YOUR LYING AS I HAVE BEEN TOLD. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT ALL VERSA'S SOLD WOULD NEED A NEW TRANNY AFTER 40K. NOW NISSAN NORTH AMERICA NOR THE DEALER WANTS TO PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKES. I NEED HELP GETTING THIS RESOLVED SOON.
ON BOTH CITY STREETS AND HIGHWAYS. ACCELERATOR WILL STICK AND OR CLUTCH IS NOT PROPERLY ENGAGING AS SPECIFIC VEHICLE HAS A MANUAL TRANSMISSION. CAUSING THE VEHICLES RPM TO GO UP HIGHER THEN RECOMMENDED.

WENDOVER AVE, GREENSBORO, NC) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE, BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.
VEHICLE STALLS AND JERKS WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE AT ANY SPEED. NO INDICATOR OR WARNING LIGHTS PRESENT.
SITTING AT A RED LIGHT, ACCELERATED WHEN IT TURNED GREEN AND CAR WOULD NOT MOVE. FINALLY DID MOVE ENOUGH TO PULL INTO A PARKING LOT. HAD CAR TOWED OVER 150 MILES BACK TO AUSTIN, TEXAS AND DROPPED OFF AT LAMB'S TIRE & AUTOMOTIVE ON W. SLAUGHTER LANE. TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. BRAND NEW WOULD HAVE BEEN ABOUT 6500.00. REBUILT ABOUT 1/2 THAT AMOUNT. DID NOT FIX. HAD IT TOWED BACK TO OUR HOUSE WHERE IT STILL SITS IN THE DRIVEWAY.
CVT TRANSMISSION. VEHICLE LOSES POWER. TRANSMISSION JERKS AND SHUTTERS FOR OVER A YEAR NOW. TACHOMETER REVS HIGH. SUDDENLY LOSES SPEED ON THE HIGHWAY AND OR CITY DRIVING. MULTIPLE STALLS OR ATTEMPTS TO STALL ESPECIALLY WHILE AC IS RUNNING. TRIPS TO THE DEALER WHO SAYS NOTHING IS WRONG OR "UPDATED THE TRANSMISSION PROGRAMMING". 10/26 VISIT TO THE DEALER FINALLY SHOWS CVT TRANSMISSION IN FAILURE. CALLS TO NISSAN RESULTED IN BEING HUNG UP ON. DEALER IS REPLACING CVT UNDER WARRANTY. OLD HAS 48K MILES. AFRAID TO DRIVE THIS DUE TO RISK OF ACCIDENT OR ADDITIONAL FAILURES IN TRAFFIC THAT MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURIES.

MY NISSAN VERSA HAS 56,000 MILES AND I HAVEN'T HAD ANY ISSUES WITH THIS CAR OR ANY WARNING LIGHTS ETC. YESTERDAY I DROVE MY CAR AND EVERY TIME I STOPPED AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT OR STOP SIGN THE CAR WOULD SHUT OFF THEN RESTART BUT THEN SHUT OFF IMMEDIATELY AGAIN. THE RPM GAUGE NEEDLE WAS MOVING BETWEEN 1 AND 2 REALLY FAST. THE CAR STARTS AND THEN SHUTS OFF WHEN COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP AND THIS JUST STARTED HAPPENING
12/5/2018 I REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION ON THE NISSAN VERSA 2015 AT 37,000 MILES. 2 MONTHS AT 42,000 MILES LATER CAR MAKING NOISE NOT KNOWING WHAT IT IS, AFTER MANY CAR CHECKS WITH AUTO MECHANICS. ON SEPTEMBER 2019 AT 93,000 MILES I RECEIVED A POST CARD ABOUT A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT FILED BY NISSAN OWNERS AGAINST 2013-2017 NISSAN VERSA AND SENTRA CARS ''CVT' TRANSMISSIONS NOT PROPERLY WORKING TO NOT WORKING AT ALL. I FINALLY HAD THE CAR CHECKED AND THE NISSAN ONLY MECHANIC SAID MY 2015 NISSAN VERSA IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE DUE TO THE TRANSMISSION NOT WORKING PROPERLY AND IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED FOR A THIRD TIME AT MOSSY NISSAN HOUSTON, TX. ITS EXTREMELY NOT FAIR. NISSAN MANUFACTURE FAIL TO PROVIDE 100% OF REPAIR COST AND REFUSE TO TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PAIN AND SUFFERING THEIR TERRIBLE CAR TRANSMISSION CAUSE ME. MANY PEOPLE AND TRANSMISSION REPAIR SHOPS KNOWS NISSAN TRANSMISSIONS ARE NOT GOOD. YOU CAN REPLACE A NISSAN TRANSMISSION TODAY AND THE SAME YEAR OR NEXT YEAR YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION AGAIN. ITS EXTREMELY NOT FAIR WHAT NISSAN MANUFACTURER & DEALERSHIP DID. II REPLACED THE FIRST TRANSMISSION AT 37,000 MILES IN YEAR 2 OF OWNING MY CAR , AT 42,000 OR 50,000 MILES THE TRANSMISSION STARTS GOING BAD. AND YEAR 3 AT 93,000 I HAVE TO REPLACED AGAIN. THAT IS A MAJOR HIGHWAY SAFETY HAZARD. THE REASON I DID NOT HAVE A MAJOR ACCIDENT WITH THIS CAR I STRONGLY BELIEVE, IS BECAUSE I PRAYED EVERYDAY WHEN I START DRIVING FOR JEHOVAH GOD TO PROTECT ME, NOT TO HAVE AN ACCIDENT, AND NOT TO KILL ANYONE WITH THIS CAR. SO EVERY 30,000 MILES OR EVERY YEAR YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION ON A NISSAN VERSA DEPENDING HOW MUCH YOU DRIVE FOR THE YEAR.. I HAD TO DEAL WITH EXTREME STRESS BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL 3 TIMES. PLEASE MAKE MONEY GREEDY NISSAN PAY FOR THEIR DELIBERATE FRAUD ACT. I DON'T DRIVE THE CAR BECAUSE ITS UNSAFE TO DRIVE WITH A VERY BAD TRANSMISSION.
ON SEPTEMBER 25,2018 MY 2015 NISSAN VERSA TRANSMISSION WENT OUT. IN MARCH 2018 I TOOK IT IN THE DEALERSHIP TO GET IT CHECK FOR A LOUD STRANGE NOISE WHEN I WAS HITTING THE GAS PEDAL . THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS THE TRANSMISSION AT 56,000 MILES . SO I CONTINUE TO DRIVE THE CAR. THE CAR HAD STARTED JERKING AND MAKING REAL LOUD NOISE . WHEN I PUT IT IN REVERSE THE CAR WOULD CUT OFF. AT 76,122 THE TRANSMISSION WENT OUT.
THE PROBLEM I HAVE ENCOUNTERED IS A FLASHING AIRBAG LIGHT WITH A VEHICLE HAVING LESS THAN 31000 MILES AND JUST OUT OF FACTORY WARRANTY AS OF MARCH 2018. ALSO, THE PASSENGER SEAT AIRBAG LIGHT STAYS ON EVEN WHEN OCCUPIED BY AN ADULT. I CONTACTED THE DEALER AND I WAS INFORMED THERE WERE NO RECALLS FOR MY VEHICLE. I CONDUCTED A SEARCH AND FOUND NUMEROUS OTHER NISSAN VEHICLES HAD THE SAME ISSUES (OCCUPANT SYSTEM) BUT MINE IS NOT LISTED. MY VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN INVOLVED IN ANY EVENT WHICH WOULD HAVE CAUSED THIS SINCE I HAVE OWNED THE VEHICLE. THE LISTED DATE AND MILAGE IS APPROXIMATE OF WHEN I NOTICED THE ISSUE.

CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO SEVERAL DESIGN DEFECTS ON VEHICLE. *LD THE CONSUMER STATED THE ELECTRONIC KEY HOLD WAS EXTREMELY SENSITIVE CAUSING THE TRUNK LID TO OPEN INADVERTENTLY. THE GAS PEDAL SEEMS TO STICK CAUSING THE ENGINE TO REV. THE VEHICLE HAS AN INTENSE WOBBLE CAUSING A NAUSEATING SENSATION. THE CHROME AROUND THE SPEEDOMETER AND DASHBOARD REFLECTION CAUSES A VISIBILITY ISSUE. THE CONSUMER WOULD INADVERTENTLY LEAVE THE KEY THE IGNITION AND MANUALLY LOCK THE DOOR, THUS LOCKING THE KEY IN THE CAR. THE CONSUMER SUGGESTED AN ALARM FOR SUCH OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE HAS LOW FREQUENCY CONSTANT HUMMING FREQUENCY BASS LIKE DRONING NOISE THAT'S CENTERED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT. *JS

I WAS DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE. TRAFFIC WAS SLOWING DOWN, I TOOK MY FOOT OFF ACCELERATOR TO SLOW WITH TRAFFIC AHEAD OF ME. THE CAR INFRONT OF ME STOPPED ABRUPTLY AND MY CAR WOULDN'T STOP. VEHICLE STALLS/HESITATES WHEN ACCELERATING IF ENGINE IS WARM. WILL RESTART IMMEDIATELY IF STALLS, BUT CONTINUED ATTEMPTS TO ACCELERATE RESULT IN HESITATION OR STALLING. THIS HAS OCCURRED IN TRAFFIC AS WELL AS FROM A COMPLETE STOP AFTER BEING PARKED, BUT STILL WARM.

VEHICLE IS 3 YEARS YOUNG HAD TO REPLACE HEADLIGHT, STARTER, WHEN AIR CONDITION IN USE IT EMITS MOLDY ODOR.
WHILE DRIVING DURING THE DAY (IT WAS OVER 95 DEGREES), ALL OF SUDDEN ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON, THE BRAKE PEDAL LOCKED UP, THE GAS PEDAL DIDN'T WORK, AND THE POWER STEERING WASN'T WORKING. I WAS DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY AT NIGHT WHEN A CAR WITH LIGHTS AS BRIGHT AS A FOOTBALL STADIUM CAME UP BEHIND ME. I CAN FEEL ALL THE GEARS CHANGING WHILE DRIVE WETHER ITS ON CITY OR HIGHWAY ( KIND OF FEEL LIKE A SUDDEN JERK IN BODY) . MY ENGINE OIL IS GOING BAD AT 3-4000 MILES ( PUTTING SYTHETIC OIL WITH GURANTEE 10-15000 MILE) . AND IF ENGINE OIL GOES BAD MY CAR'S PICKUP GO LESS. IT CANT RUN OVER 15-20 MPH. THE ABS LIGHT AND THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CONTINUOUSLY ILLUMINATE BUT GO ON AND OFF DURING CAR RIDES. THE CAR IS ALSO MAKING A STRANGE RATTLING NOISE UNDER THE HOOD BECAUSE THE IDLER PULLEY SYSTEM IS FAILING. THIS NOSE PERSISTS WHILE THE CAR IS STATIONARY, IN MOTION, AND TURNING ON ANY ROAD CONDITION. THE CAR ALSO IS HAVING A JERKING MOTION WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE AND IS SLOW TO PICK UP SPEED. THE CAR IS HESITATING WHEN PICKING UP SPEED.
THE POWER STEERING ON MY CAR STOPPED WORKING OUT OF NO WHERE WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. I COULDN'T TURN AND ALMOST CRASHED WHILE GOING AROUND A BEND. BROUGHT IT TO A NISSAN DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME THE ENTIRE STEERING COLUMN NEEDS TO BE REPLACED FOR $5,390. ON A 2015 NISSAN. LESS THAN 50,000 MILES AND LESS THAN 3 YEARS OLD.
STARTING HEARING A RATTLING. AFTER FURTHER LOOKING IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT ON THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE OF THE VEHICLE NEAR THE TIRE WHEEL AND UNDER THE HOOD ALL BUT TWO OF THE RIVETS ARE GONE. THE PLASTIC PIECE OVER THE WHEEL WELL IS ALSO SCRUBBING THE TIRE.
POWER STEERING FAILS IN HIGHER THAN 85 DEGREE TEMPERATURES AS WELL AS BELOW 25 DEGREES. SOMETIMES THE WARNING LIGHT FOR IT COMES ON WHEN IT FAILS AND OTHER TIMES IT DOES NOT. THIS PROBLEM COMES AND GOES, NOT LIMITED TO JUST MOVING. I CAN SHIFT INTO GEAR AND HAVE IMMEDIATE DIFFICULTY OR BE DRIVING ALONG AT ANY SPEED THEN SUDDENLY THE POWER STEERING IS GONE. I WAS ADVISED BY THE ADA, OK DEALERSHIP THAT THE 2015 NISSAN VERSA DOES NOT USE POWER STEERING FLUID AND THAT THE PROBLEM IS THE POWER STEERING COMPUTER.
MY 2015 NISSAN VERSA TRANSMISSION HAS GONE OUT AND IT ONLY HAS 79K MILES I PURCHASED IT BRAND NEW IN OCT OF 2015. I AM JUST CHECKING TO SEE IF THE TRANSMISSION WAS INSTALLED IN 2014 SINCE THOSE TRANSMISSIONS WERE RECALLED ON THE 2014 VERSAS WERE USED IN THE 2015 VERSAS. THE TRANSMISSION SHOULD NOT HAVE FAILED WITH THAT MILEAGE. I AM SURE NISSAN IS AWARE OF THIS ISSUE WITH CUSTOMERS, AS I HAVE FOUND SEVERAL COMPLAINTS FROM NISSAN VERSA OWNERS. WE NEED A RECALL ON THESE VEHICLES CONSUMERS SIMPLY CANNOT PAY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO HAVE THEM REPLACED THIS IS A MANUFACTURERS DEFECT AND NISSAN SHOULD BE MADE TO PAY FOR THE TOTAL REPAIRS TO REPLACE THESE TRANSMISSIONS ON ALL THE 2015 VERSAS, MAYBE YOU COULD LOOK INTO THIS. MY CAR IS AT THE DEALERSHIP WAITING TO BE INSPECTED AS THEY ARE TWO WEEKS BEHIND AND NOW I HAVE TO RENT A VEHICLE TO GET TO WORK. PLEASE TAKE THIS COMPLAINT INTO SERIOUS CONSIDERATION.
WHEN TAKING OFF THE TRANSMISSION BELT SLIPS ALL THE TIME SO I TRY TO EASE INTO THE GAS AS GENTLY AS POSSIBLE. WHEN A/C IS RUNNING THE CAR HAS ALMOST ZERO ACCELERATION AND HAS A STUTTERING OR STUMBLING ISSUE THAT CAUSES ISSUES UNTIL I HIT 3000 3500 RPM THEN SEEMS TO GAIN POWER. I HAVE ISSUES ON THE HIGHWAY WITH THE TRANSMISSION SEEMING TO SLIP OUT OF ENGAGEMENT OF THE BELT WHEN SPEEDING UP TO PASS. WHEN SLOWING DOWN FOR A LIGHT, IF THE LIGHT TURNS BEFORE I COME TO A COMPLETE STOP AND I GO TO REAPPLY PRESSURE TO THE GAS PEDAL, IF I DONT GENTLY APPLY THE GAS THE TRANSMISSION BELT WILL SLIP AND CAUSE THE CAR TO SHUTTER. IM NOT SURE WHAT IS CAUSING THIS ISSUE, BUT I HAVE HAD SINCE I PURCHASED THE CAR AROUND 40000 MILES, A CRICKET CHIRPING NOISE THAT IN THE BEGINNING WAS ALWAYS AT 2000RPM AND NO WHERES ELSE IN THE RPM RANGE. NOW IT HAS GOTTEN WORSE TO WHERE I SEEM TO HEAR THE CHIRPING NOISE ANYWHERE AROUND 1500 RPM TO 2250RPM RANGE. AS WELL I HAVE HAD THE RADIATOR FAN QUIT WORKING CAUSING THE MOTOR TO OVER HEAT PRETTY BAD BUT THE HEAD GASKET DIDNT FAIL LUCKILY. I HAVE ALSO HAD THE ENTIRE TIME I HAVE OWNED THE CAR, AN ISSUE WITH THE A/C WHEN IT STARTS UP THE CLUTCH BASICALLY CLUNCKS ON OR MAKES AN AWFUL NOISE KICKING ON AND WHILE THE A/C WOULD RUN BEFORE THE FAN FAILED, THE AIR WOULD START SMELLING VERY VERY BAD. IT SMELLED LIKE CHEMICALS OF SOME SORT AND IT WOULD MAKE ME VERY NATIOUS TO THE POINT I WOULD HAVE TO TURN THE A/C OFF AND LIVING IN THE DESERT IN TUCSON, ARIZONA THIS DOES NOT MAKE FOR A VERY GOOD COMFORTABLE RIDE AT ALL.
ME AND MY FAMILY WERE INSIDE THE HOUSE AND HEARD AN EXPLOSION. WE RAN OUTSIDE AND NOTICED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE TIRE EXPLODED AND BLEW THE TIRE WELL AND FENDER OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS JUST SITTING IN THE YARD. I CALLED THE OUACHITA PARISH SHERIFF'S OFFICE. A DEPUTY CAME OUT AND DETERMINED THAT THERE WAS NO CRIMINAL ACTIVITY. I FILED AND AUTO INSURANCE CLAIM AND HAVE TO WAIT UP TO 48 HOURS FOR A RESPONSE.
