THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 103,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A REPAIR SHOP WHERE THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE BRAKE STOP SWITCH, CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH AND THE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH. ALSO, THE CONNECTORS WERE CLEANED AND THE FAILURE WAS RESOLVED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 09V036000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING:BRAKE LIGHTS); HOWEVER THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 87,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 90,288.
AS I WAS TURNING INTO MY HOUSING EDITION, MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP AND I NOTICED THAT MY RADIO SAID POWER STEERING. I ALMOST RAN INTO OUR GATE AND I'VE ALSO NOTICED THERE IS NOWHERE TO PUT THE POWER STEERING FLUID. *TT
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE CROWDED INTERSTATE, HEADED HOME FROM WORK AND MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP. I COULD NOT TURN TO GET TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD AND COULD NOT STEER SO I HAD TO STOP. I TURNED OFF THE CAR AND RESTARTED IT AND LUCKILY THE STEERING CAME BACK. I WAS PAST BY SEMI TRUCKS HONKING AND ONE SLAMMING ON HIS BRAKES BEHIND ME TO KEEP FROM HITTING ME. ONCE I DROVE THE CAR HOME I TOLD MY DAD WHAT HAPPENED AND HE CHECKED THE CAR. HE REALIZED THAT THE CAR HAD ELECTRIC STEERING. HE DECIDED TO LET THE DEALER LOOK AT IT. THEY OFFERED NO EXPLANATION BUT RATHER A REPAIR COST OF $1,200.00. HE THEN LOOKED ONLINE AND FOUND THAT THERE WERE HUNDREDS OF SIMILAR CASES BY JUST GOOGLING "PONTIAC G6 STEERING PROBLEMS". THIS IS WHEN HE DECIDED THAT I NEEDED TO FILE A PUBLIC SAFETY COMPLAINT. *KB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 PONTIAC G6. WHILE PARKED, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING WHERE THE MECHANIC ADVISED THAT THE AIR BAG SENSOR WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 07V146000 (AIR BAGS: FRONTAL: SENSOR/CONTROL MODULE) BUT WAS ADVISED BY THE MANUFACTURER THAT THE RECALL ONLY COVERED THE 2007 PONTIAC G6 MODEL AND NOT THE 2006 MODEL. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 54,000.
THE FIRST INCIDENT, I WAS DRIVING AND MAKING A TURN INTO MY DRIVEWAY AND IT BECAME VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL. THIS HAPPENED ANOTHER TWO TIMES BEFORE THE MOST RECENT INCIDENT. WHEN I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY, THE POWER STEERING OF THE CAR COMPLETELY QUIT. "POWER STEERING" FLASHED ON THE DASH AND IT BECAME VERY DIFFICULT TO STEER THE CAR TO SAFETY. *TR
IF I DRIVE MY AUTOMOBILE AND I HAVE A PASSENGER IN IT AND THE AIRBAG WORKS FINE. IF I DROP THEM OFF THE AIRBAG STILL SENSE THAT THERE IS SOMEONE STILL SITTING IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. IF I GO PICK SOMEONE UP THE AIRBAG WILL NOT SENSE THAT THERE IS SOMEONE THERE. I BOUGHT THE CAR IN 4/11 I DID NOT BUY IT NEW. IF I EVER HAVE AN ACCIDENT AND THE AIRBAG NEVER SENSE THAT THERE IS SOMEONE IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT AFRAID IT WILL NOT PROPERLY. *TR
TL* THE DRIVER OWNS A 2006 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER WAS DRIVING 2 MPH WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED AND THE DRIVER WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH. ANOTHER VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE DRIVER. ONE PASSENGER SUFFERED HEAD AND HAND INJURIES. THE INJURIES INCLUDED A CONCUSSION AND MEMORY LOSS. THE POLICE WERE NOTIFIED AND A POLICE REPORT WAS ON FILE. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TOWED TO A REPAIR SHOP. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED AND THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 79,328.

THE STEERING FUNCTIONED AS NORMAL UPON RESTART. THE FAILURE RECURRED ONCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO HAVE THE FAILURE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. I WAS BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE DASH LIGHT CONCLUDED THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE POWER STEERING SO I PULLED BACK IN THE DRIVE WITH GREAT DIFFICULTY STEERING. I AM JUST GLAD I WAS AT HOME OR EVEN WORSE, I COULD HAVE BEEN DRIVING WITH MY CHILDREN. *TR

THE MANUFACTURER AND THE DEALER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE, BUT THE DENIED ANY ASSISTANCE WITH REPAIRS TO THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 33,900.
I NOTICED A STRONG GAS SMELL FROM THE BACK OF MY CAR,I JUST BROUGHT IT USED LAST JUNE 11, I ALSO NOTICED THAT WHEN SITTING IN THE CAR EITHER IN THE FRONT OR REAR THE SMELL OF GAS IS STRONG AS WELL, I HAD TO HAVE WORK DONE ON MY CAR LAST MONTH AND WAS TOLD THAT THE ENTIRE TOP OF MY TANK WAS WET FROM GAS AND THE SMELL WAS STRONG IN THE SHOP (SEARS) AND I SHOULD HAVE THIS LOOKED AT ASAP BECAUSE IT COULD CAUSE A FIRE AND WAS VERY UNSAFE. I HAVE BEEN RESEARCHING THIS ISSUE AND HAVE FOUND OVER 100 OTHER PEOPLE WITH THIS SAME ISSUE IN THE 2006 PONTIAC G6 BUT HAVE YET TO FIND ANY KIND OF RECALL ,WHY SHOULD THIS BE THE OWNERS EXPENSE WHEN THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS ISSUE MY DAUGHTER SITS IN THE BACK AND TO KNOW GAS IS LEAKING AND COULD CAUSE A FIRE OR POSSIBLE MAYBE EXPLODE IS NOT A GOOD THOUGHT, ITS THE SAME ISSUE WITH THEM ALL A FUEL PUMP WITH A PLASTIC ELBOW HOSE SETUP, NOW I SEEN A RECALL FOR 2007 COLBOTS AND G6 AND I THINK G5 WITH THE EXACT SAME ISSUE WHY IS IT NOT COVERING ALL THE CARS WITH THIS ISSUE IS UNSAFE, NOW IM GOING TO HAVE TO AGAIN PAY OUT OF POCKET TO FIX SOMETHING DUE TO POOR DESIGN AND UNSAFE CONDITIONS I DONT THINK ITS RIGHT AT ALL WITH SO MANY PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. *TT

ON JANUARY 9, 2012 AFTER WORK I STARTED MY VEHICLE AND THE AIRBAG LIGHT ON THE DASH WAS ON AND I HAVE A MESSAGE TO HAVE THE AIRBAG SERVICED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. I WENT ONLINE TO DO RESEARCH ON THE ISSUE AND FOUND THERE ARE SEVERAL RECALLS ON THIS ISSUE FOR MY VEHICLES YEAR MAKE AND MODEL, PONTIAC G6 2006. I CONTACTED THE DEALER AND THERE ARE NO RECALLS ON THIS ISSUE WITH MY VEHICLE ID NUMBER ON RECORD. THE DEALER CHARGES OVER $100 TO RUN A DIAGNOSTIC CHECK ON THIS ISSUE. THIS IS SOMETHING I CAN NOT AFFORD TO DO. THIS COULD BE DANGEROUS DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE AIRBAGS WILL NOT DEPLOY IF I AM INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT. NOT TO MENTION THAT THE MANUAL AND ALL RESEARCH INDICATES FAULTY AIRBAGS. THIS VEHICLE IS NOT EVEN 10 YEARS OLD AND HAS ISSUES THAT ARE A MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHENEVER THE BRAKES WERE DEPRESSED, THE BRAKE LIGHTS WOULD NOT ILLUMINATE AND WHENEVER THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS NOT BEING DEPRESSED, THE BRAKE LIGHTS WOULD ILLUMINATE DUE TO CORROSION OF THE WIRING CONNECTOR. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL WOULD NOT ENGAGE DUE TO THE CORROSION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO ADVISED THAT THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THE FAILURE UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 09V036000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING: BRAKE LIGHTS) HOWEVER, HIS VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE POWER STEERING LIGHT COMES ON THE RADIO MESSAGE CENTER. IT KEEPS POPPING UP AND OFF. THERE IS NO AREA TO ADD MORE OR FIND OUT WHAT IS GOING ON. IT KEEPS FAILING. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST G6 TO DO THIS AND NEEDS TO BE FIXED BY THE MANUFACTURERS. *TR
PURCHASED USED 2006 G6 IN MAY 2007. FIRST NOTICED CLUNKING AND POPPING NOISE IN STEERING A MONTH AFTER PURCHASE. LOCAL DEALERSHIP DID NOT HEAR ANY NOISES WHEN THEY CHECKED IT OVER! OVER THE 4 1/2 YEARS THAT WE HAVE OWNED THIS CAR, THE NOISES NEVER GO AWAY. STEERING SEEMS LOOSE AT TIMES. DRIVING HOME FROM WORK TWO DAYS AGO AT 70 MPH ON FOUR LANE INTERSTATE, THE CLUNKING NOISES GOT WORSE AND MY FRONT DRIVER'S TIRE FELL OFF MY CAR. I WAS ABLE TO CONTROL THE CAR AND GET IT TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THANKFULLY, THERE WAS NO ONE ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE INTERSTATE OR NEAR ME WHEN MY TIRE WENT FLYING OFF. SURE WOULD BE NICE IF PONTIAC WOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE STEERING/SUSPENSION PROBLEM WITH THIS CAR. HAVE READ FAR TOO MANY STORIES ABOUT SERIOUS INJURIES, WHICH I COULD HAVE CAUSED WITH MY G6. I JUST GOT LUCKY THERE WAS NO ONE AROUND ME WHEN IT HAPPENED. *TR
TAKATA RECALL FIRST NOTICED PROBLEM JANUARY 2012. I HAD TO PRESS ON BRAKE PEDAL REALLY HARD TO SHIFT OUT OF PARK AND BRAKE PEDAL WOULD MAKE A NOISE WHEN I FIRST PUSHED ON IT. CRUISE CONTROL WOULD DISENGAGE WHILE IN USE OR WOULD NOT WORK AT ALL. NOT SURE IF BRAKE LIGHTS WERE IMPROPERLY WORKING AT THIS TIME OR NOT. TOOK CAR TO GM DEALERSHIP 3 TIMES BEFORE IT SEEMED TO BE FIXED. FORWARD TO OCTOBER OF 2015 AND ISSUE IS BACK. THE SAME SYMPTOMS BUT THE ONLY REASON I DISCOVERED THE BRAKE LIGHTS CONSTANTLY BEING ON IS I WAS AT GAS STATION AND GOT OUT OF MY CAR AS IT WAS IDLE AND IN PARK TO THROW SOMETHING AWAY AND NOTICED DURING THE DAY MY TAIL LIGHTS WERE ON AND VERY BRIGHT. TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC IMMEDIATELY AND AS I PUSHED ON THE BRAKE PEDAL, MY BRAKE LIGHTS WENT OFF. THE SHOP PUT IN A NEW BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH AND THAT DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE. CAN.OF DRIVE THE CAR AS IT IS TOO DANGEROUS.
I WAS MAKING A LEFT HAND TURN AT ABOUT 20 MPH AND MY POWER STEERING CUT OUT. I ALMOST CRASHED MY CAR INTO A POLE, BUT WAS ABLE TO TUG AT THE STEERING WHEEL AND AVOID THE POLE. I HAD TO TURN MY VEHICLE COMPLETELY OFF AND THEN BACK ON TO REST THE POWER STEERING. THIS HAS OCCURRED COUNTLESS TIMES WHILE DRIVING MY CAR. I HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN TO ME AT LEAST 20 TO 30 TIMES. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. APPROXIMATELY ONE YEAR LATER, THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL OF THE STEERING. WHILE TURNING, THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL OF THE STEERING AND CRASHED. THE CONTACT INJURED HER ROTATOR CUFF. THE VEHICL E WAS TOWED TO A DEALER AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE STEERING FAILURE WAS NOT RELATED TO THE STEERING COLUMN REPLACEMENT. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE STEERING FAILED DUE TO THE POWER STEERING MOTOR AND ELECTRONIC POWER ASSIST SYSTEM. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 98,000.

THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A LOCAL MECHANIC AND WAS ADVISED OF A RECALL UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 09V03600 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING: BRAKE LIGHTS). THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS ADVISED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNAVAILABLE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 84,000. UPDATED 02/27/12 *LJ THE CONSUMER HAS SINCE UNPLUGGED THE LIGHT TO STOP IT FROM DRAINING THE BATTERY. UPDATED 02/28/12
LOSS OF POWER STEERING WHICH OCCURRED AT LEAST 5 TIMES WHILE IN REVERSE. THE LAST TIME THIS OCCURRED WAS IN DRIVE WHILE ENTERING THE EXPRESSWAY. WITH EACH OCCURRENCE THERE WAS A WARNING CHIME AND "POWER STEERING" WAS ON THE RADIO DISPLAY. AFTER RESTARTING THE VEHICLE, THE POWER STEERING WOULD RECOVER. *TR

THE CONTACT TURNED THE ENGINE OFF AND UPON RESTARTING THE STEERING FUNCTIONED NORMALLY. THE IDENTICAL FAILURE OCCURRED TWO DIFFERENT TIMES. IN ADDITION, THE FRONT DRIVER'S SEAT PARTIALLY DETACHED FROM ITS FRAME. THE CONTACT PLANNED TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS AND POSSIBLE REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 39,000.
ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING PROBLEM. WHILE DRIVING, A POWER STEERING WARNING APPEARS ON THE RADIO SCREEN. AFTER THE WARNING, 3 TONES SOUND INSIDE THE CAR. THEN, THE STEERING GETS VERY TIGHT AND ALL POWER STEERING GOES AWAY. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THE ONLY WAY TO CORRECT THE ISSUE IS TO TURN OFF THE CAR AND RESTART IT. THIS PROBLEM CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS ACCIDENTS WHEN POWER STEERING IS LOST. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE POWER STEERING FAILED AND WITH THE ILLUMINATION OF THE POWER STEERING WARNING LIGHT. THE VEHICLE RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION AFTER IT WAS SHUT OFF AND RESTARTED BUT THE POWER STEERING WARNING LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED.THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO CONFIRMED THAT THE POWER STEERING FAILED AND REFERRED HER TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND THEY ADVISED HER THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 136,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

I ALMOST GOT INTO A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT WITH MY FOUR CHILDREN THIS MORNING. I WAS GOING ABOUT 50MPH AND LOST ALL STEERING IN MY CAR. MY CHILDREN WERE SCREAMING. IT IS A GOOD THING NO ONE WAS BEHIND ME BECAUSE I WOULD HAVE EITHER WENT INTO A TREE/WOODS OR SOMEONE WOULD HAVE REAR ENDED ME. THANK GOD WE ARE ALL OK. THERE HAS BEEN A KNOCK IN THE STEERING EVER SINCE I BOUGHT IT. MY MECHANIC SAYS THAT IT WOULD COST A LOT JUST FOR HIM TO GET INTO THE DASH TO SEE WHAT PART IT NEEDS. STEERING DASHBOARD LIGHTS COME ON AND POWER STEERING GOES OUT WHILE DRIVING. HAD DIAGNOSTICS DONE BY DEALER. DIAGNOSTIC SHOWS PROBLEM WITH POWERSTEERING AND POWERSTEERING MOTOR. TOTALLY LOCKS UP. I BOUGHT THIS CAR A LITTLE OVER A YEAR AGO AND I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT WHATSOEVER. ALL OF A SUDDEN I GO TO START MY CAR THIS MORNING AND MY ENGINE LIGHT IS ON. ALSO, MY CLOCK IS DISPLAYING THE WORDS, "POWER STEERING" AND "ENGINE POWER REDUCED." I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED BUT I COULD NOT CONTROL THE CAR VERY WELL AND THE ENGINE WAS REMMING HIGH AND LOW EVEN AFTER I HAD STOPPED THE CAR. I HAD TO PRESS REALLY HARD DOWN ON THE BRAKES TO GET IT TO STOP MOVING BUT THE ENGINE WAS STILL REMMING HIGH AND LOW. LUCKILY, THIS HAPPENED AS I WAS JUST PULLING OUT OF MY APARTMENT COMPLEX SO I WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT BACK HOME. AS YOU CAN SEE THOUGH, HAD THIS HAPPENED WHILE OUT ON A MAIN ROAD OR ON THE HIGHWAY, THIS COULD BE A MAJOR ISSUE OR MY CAR JUST SHUTTING DOWN. *TR
DRIVING DOWN THE STREET, STEERING WHEEL BEGAN TO QUIVER AND THE POWER STEERING CUT OUT. WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO TURN A CORNER, IT WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN. I PULLED OVER AND SHUT THE CAR OFF. WHEN I STARTED THE CAR, THE POWER STEERING CAME BACK ON. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES. *TR
ON OR ABOUT 8:30 AM, 11/16/2011 THE POWER STEERING FAILED AN EXPERIENCED DRIVER CAN KEEP THE CAR UNDER CONTROL BUT A NOVICE DRIVER PROBABLY COULDN'T. I HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT IT HAD HAPPENED BEFORE. THE POWER ASSIST SUDDENLY CEASES WHEN YOU TURN, THE WORDS POWER STEERING APPEAR ON THE RADIO CONSOLE. IT CAN'T BE FIXED AS IT DOES NOT SHOW UP ON THE COMPUTER. *TR

THE BRAKE LIGHTS AND CRUISE CONTROL WORK DO NOT ALWAYS WORK. SOMETIMES THEY DON'T WORK AT ALL AND OTHER TIMES THE BRAKE LIGHTS COME ON WITHOUT PRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL. I GOT A WARNING FROM A POLICE OFFICER THAT I HAD NO BRAKE LIGHTS AND THEN REALIZED THAT WHEN MY CRUISE CONTROL WAS NOT WORKING, NEITHER WERE BY BRAKE LIGHTS. MY WIFE SAID SOMETIMES SHE CANNOT GOT THE CAR OUT OF PARK AND MUST TURN OFF THE CAR AND TRY AGAIN TO GET IT OUT OF PARK. *TR

I WAS ON MY WAY TO WORK THIS MORNING AND WAS TURNING OUT OF THE PARKING LOT OF WHERE I LIVE WHEN SUDDENLY POWER STEERING CAME UP ON THE MENU AND MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP. WITH FORCE I WAS ABLE TO MANEUVER THE CAR OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND TURNED THE CAR OFF. WHEN I TURNED IT BACK ON IT WAS FINE. LUCKILY THERE WAS NO ON COMING TRAFFIC OR THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. I'M HAVING THE CAR LOOKED AT FIRST THING IN THE MORNING TO DETERMINE WHAT IS WRONG AND WHAT IS COVERED. THE MILEAGE IS A ROUGH ESTIMATE BECAUSE I DON'T REMEMBER EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS BUT THIS ALL STARTED IN THE FALL OF 2011. MY BRAKE LIGHTS ARE WORKING IN REVERSE. WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL IS PRESSED MY LIGHTS GO OFF AND WHEN I'M NOT PUSHING THE BRAKE PEDAL THE LIGHTS ARE ON. THE DEALERSHIP DID THE RECOMMENDED SERVICE BY PUTTING THE LUBRICANT ON THE BRAKE MODULE. IT WORKED FINE FOR ABOUT 4 MONTHS BY THEN MY CAR WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY SO I WAS NOT GOING TO PAY THE DEALERSHIP TO DO THE SERVICE. MY DAD REPLACED THE WHOLE MODULE AND AGAIN IT WORKED FINE FOR ANOTHER 6 MONTHS. WHEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN MY DAD PUT LUBRICANT ON IT AGAIN, WORKED FINE UP TILL THIS PAST MAY. MY DAD IS GOING TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT AGAIN. I'M SCARED TO DRIVE IN THIS CAR FOR FEAR OF BEING REAR ENDED DUE THE LIGHTS NO WORKING. *TR
I WAS PULLING OUT FROM A GAS STATION WHEN THE POWER STEERING LIGHT WENT OFF AND WITHIN 2 SECONDS ALL POWER STEERING WAS GONE. AFRAID TO DRIVE ANY FURTHER I PARKED MY CAR AND DID WHAT I NEEDED TO DO. WHENEVER I RETURNED TO TRY AND DRIVE MY CAR BACK HOME (IT SAT THERE FOR 1 1/2 HRS) THERE WAS NO PROBLEM STEERING IT.
