BRAKE LIGHTS COME ON WHILE DRIVING AND TURN OFF WHEN BRAKE IS PRESSED PASSENGER HEADLIGHT COMES ON SOMETIMES SEVERE LEAKING INTO PASSENGER FLOOR BOARD WHEN RAINS. *TR
I WORK NIGHTS AND NOTICED MY TAIL LAMPS WERE REALLY BRIGHT WHEN I DROVE BY REFLECTIVE SIGNS. THOUGH I DIDN'T THINK MUCH AT THE TIME THIS CONTINUED. I STOPPED FOR GAS ONE MORNING WHEN I COULDN'T GET MY CAR FROM PARK TO DRIVE. I REALLY HAD TO MASH THE BRAKES DOWN TO GET FROM PARK TO DRIVE. I RECENTLY WAS PULLED OVER DUE TO MY TAIL LIGHTS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY. THE POLICE OFFICER NOTICED THAT MY TAIL LIGHTS WERE LIT UP WHILE DRIVING AND WOULD TURN OFF WHEN I CAME TO A STOP AT THE LIGHT AND WHEN HE PULLED ME OVER. HE DIDN'T TICKET ME BUT WANTED TO LET MY KNOW ABOUT THE ISSUE. I LOOKED FOR RECALLS AND SURE ENOUGH MY 07 G6 WAS ON THE RECALL LIST BUT APPARENTLY IT'S VIN SPECIFIC. I EVEN TOOK IT TO THE LOCAL GM DEALER, KERRY CHEVROLET, AND THEY COULDN'T FIND ANY RECALLS WITH MY CAR. THE PERSON AT THE DEALER SHIP GAVE ME GM'S NUMBER AND EVEN THEY TOLD ME I PROBABLY SHOULDN'T DRIVE THE CAR. THOUGH ALL MY ISSUES ARE ON THE RECALL FROM THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER 14V252000 MY CAR IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. NOR IS THE TRANSMISSION CABLE THING. I WON'T GO INTO THIS. THIS IS A PROBLEM WAITING TO HAPPEN. GM SHOULD MAKE THIS RIGHT AND ALL INCLUSIVE FOR ALL MODEL YEARS THAT ARE AFFECTED BY THIS NOT JUST VIN SPECIFIC. I'VE BEEN LOYAL TO YOU FOR MANY YEARS BUT MAYBE NOT FOR LONG! *TR
TWO WEEKS AGO, IT BECAME INCREASINGLY MORE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE MY KEY FROM THE IGNITION AFTER PUTTING MY KEY INTO PARK. AT TIMES, IT MAY TAKE UP TO 5 MINUTES TO REMOVE MY KEY. WITHIN A WEEK, I NOTICED THAT IT WAS BECOMING MORE DIFFICULT TO SHIFT FROM PARK TO REVERSE. LAST SUNDAY, (JUNE 1, 2014) I WAS AT THE GROCERY STORE, SHIFTED INTO REVERSE, THEN DRIVE. WHEN I PUT MY FOOT ON THE GAS, IT WAS AS IF IT WAS IN NEUTRAL. I HAD TO DRIVE THE CAR HOME IN THE MANUAL SETTING. MY HUSBAND THEN TEST DROVE THE CAR AND NOTICED THE SAME THINGS. HE ADDED THAT WHEN IN DRIVE, IT WAS AS IF THE CAR WAS IN NEUTRAL AND IT WOULD ACTUALLY MOVE BACKWARDS IF ON A SLANTED ROAD OR STREET. MY HUSBAND DROVE MY CAR INTO BRADSHAW MOTORS, WADE HAMPTON, GREER, SC THE NEXT DAY, MONDAY, JUNE 2, 2014. THEY SAID WE NEED A BRAND NEW TRANSMISSION. WITH ONLY 50,000 MILES ON MY CAR, (WHICH I BOUGHT NEW) I BECAME VERY UPSET AND BEGAN TO INVESTIGATE RECALLS. I FOUND A RECALL #14V224000 ON THE WWW.PONTIACPROBLEMS,COM/RECALLS/G6/2007 WEBSITE. I CALLED THE 1-800 NUMBER AND HAVE BEEN GETTING THE RUN AROUND ON THE PHONE SENSE. *TR
COOLING FANS FUSES REPLACED BECAUSE IT WAS RUNNING HOT. IT STARTED RUNNING HOT A FEW YEARS LATER AND WIRING TO THE COOLING FANS HAD TO BE FIXED. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT THEN CAME ON AND WOULDN'T GO OFF AND ENGINE MODULE WAS REPLACED. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME BACK ON IMMEDIATELY, POWER STEERING RANDOMLY STOPPED WORKING BUT CAME BACK, POWER SEATS STOPPED WORKING RANDOMLY BUT STARTED TO WORK AGAIN, RADIO WOULDN'T GO OFF AFTER TAKING OUT THE KEY AND OPENING THE DOOR, AND NOW THE CAR WILL ONLY GO IN REVERSE AND DRIVE IN THE MANUAL MODE. I'M NEVER BUYING ANOTHER GM VEHICLE! *TR
THE BRAKE LIGHTS ARE COMING ON WHILE ACCELERATING AND GOING OFF WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL IS ENGAGED. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO MY FAMILY BUT WE ARE TRAVELING AND WILL HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF THIS AT OUR DESTINATION. THE CRUISE CONTROL IS WORKING INTERMITTENT AND THE SHIFT INTERLOCK NEEDS EXCESSIVE PRESSURE TO UNLOCK THE SHIFTER. I SEE THIS IS BEING LOOKED INTO FOR A RECALL THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED BEFORE SOMEONE IS HURT! *TR
WHILE PULLING INTO PARKING LOT STEERING LIGHT CAME ON ON DASH AND POWER STEERING STOPPED WORKING, TURNED OFF CAR AND STARTED BACK UP AND IT WORKED FINE, SINCE THEN IT IS HAPPENING SO FREQUENTLY THAT CAR CANNOT BE DRIVEN SAFELY, THIS IS MY 18 YR OLD DAUGHTERS CAR AND I WANT HER TO SEE 19, GM NEEDS TO RECALL THE 2007 MODELS ALSO. *JS
IN PARK, WHILE REVERSING, POWER STEERING IS NOT WORKING. HAPPENED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 PONTIAC G6. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55-60 MPH, THE STEERING ASSIST WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE STEERING SEIZED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT AN ALIGNMENT WAS NEEDED. THE ALIGNMENT WAS PERFORMED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V046000 (STEERING). THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 87,000.
WHILE DRIVING-THE STOP LIGHTS STAY ON, WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED THE LIGHTS GO OUT. HAVE DIFFICULTY GETTING SHIFTER OUT OF PARK. ALSO SPEED CONTROL QUIT WORKING. THERE IS A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM-NUMBER 13036. IT COVERS CARS BUILT BETWEEN MAY 26. 2004 TO JAN. 4 2010.[ MY CAR WAS BUILT MAY 2007 ]. WHEN I CALLED G. M. PHONE-800-553-6000. THIS IS THE PONTIAC NUMBER. THEY SAID MY SERIAL NUMBER IS NOT ON THE LIST.{ I DON'T UNDERSTAND }. THIS CAR HAS THE EXACT PROBLEM THAT IS ADDRESSED IN THIS RECALL. PROBLEM WITH THE BODY CONTROL MODULE. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE--- I HAVE HAD DRIVERS BLOWING HORNS AT ME WHEN I STOP BECAUSE MY BRAKE LIGHTS DON'T COME ON.--THEY STAY ON WHILE DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 100,000.

TL- THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE POWER STEERING SUDDENLY MALFUNCTIONED CAUSING THE STEERING WHEEL TO BECOME VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN. PONTIAC G6 2007 SUFFERED A TOTAL FAILURE OF THE POWER STEERING COLUMN AND SENSOR, WHICH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED FOR APPROXIMATELY $700.00. ALTHOUGH THIS VERY ISSUE IS SUBJECT TO RECALL IN OTHER MODEL YEAR PONTIAC G6 VEHICLES, THE 2007 IS NOT SUBJECT TO THE RECALL. A LETTER WAS SENT TO GM NOTIFYING THEM OF PART FAILURES AND COSTS. TO DATE, GM HAS NOT RESPONDED TO THE NOTIFICATION, AND THE 2007 MODEL YEAR HAS NOT BEEN INCLUDED IN THE CURRENT RECALL. SIMULTANEOUSLY, PONTIAC G6 2007 SUFFERED A TOTAL FAILURE OF FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAG SYSTEM, SO THAT THE PASSENGER AIR BAG WOULD NOT BE DEPLOYED. WHEN I NOTIFIED GM, THEY STATED IT WAS A "WARRANTY" ISSUE, AND NORMAL "WEAR AND TEAR". THE ESTIMATED COST OF REPAIR WAS OVER $1500, FOR THIS CRITICAL SAFETY FEATURE. A LETTER WAS SENT TO GM NOTIFYING THEM OF PART FAILURES AND COSTS. TO DATE, GM HAS NOT RESPONDED TO THE NOTIFICATION. *TR

THE DEALER REPAIRED THE VEHICLE, BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE REPAIRS WERE UNKNOWN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.

THE CAR WILL INTERMITTENTLY LOOSE THE POWER STEERING. USUALLY WHEN YOU FIRST STARTED IT BUT AT TIME WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED. IF YOU STOPPED AND RESTARTED THE CAR THE POWER STEERING MIGHT START WORKING. WE SPEND OVER $2,500 TO GET THIS REPAIRED AND OUR DEALERSHIP IS CLAIMING THAT THERE IS NO RECALL ON THE POWER STEERING. I CURRENTLY HAVE ALL THE INVOICE OF WHAT THEY REPAIRED OR REPLACED. *TR

SOMETIME LATER, THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN INTO THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT WHILE THE MESSAGE WAS SHOWING, AND A REQUEST WAS MADE TO MAKE A NOTATION OF THE PROBLEM ON THE VEHICLE'S SERVICE RECORD, THE REQUEST WAS IGNORED BY THE SERVICE MANAGER. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: FOR THE FIRST 3 YEARS AFTER THIS VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED, IT HAD MAJOR ELECTRONIC PROBLEMS THAT WERE LATER CORRECTED BY REPLACING THE FACTORY-INSTALLED BATTERY, THAT THE DEALERSHIP PARTS MANAGER STATED WAS THE WRONG SIZE (IT WAS TOO SMALL), WITH THE CORRECT SIZE BATTERY. HOWEVER, THE "SERVICE AIR BAG" MESSAGE HAS CONTINUED TO APPEAR FREQUENTLY AND AT RANDOM. HAVING JUST CHECKED THE NHTSA WEBSITE (THANKS TO AN ALERT FROM FOX NEWS) AND DISCOVERING AN AIR BAG RELATED RECALL, THIS VEHICLE WILL BE TAKEN INTOP THE DEALERSHIP. ALONG WITH A PRINT-OUR OF THE RECALL, FOR REPAIR. *TR
I WAS STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN. OTHER VEHICLE STOPPED TO MY LEFT, SO I TURNED RIGHT. HE ACCELERATED, HITTING MY CAR. I HAD A HOLE IN MY DOOR[ DRIVERS] AND HE TOOK MY BUMPER OFF, TOTALING MY CAR. THE AIR BAGS NEVER DEPLOYED. HE HIT ME HARD ENOUGH TO PUT A LARGE HOLE IN THE METAL DOOR, AND THE DRIVERS SIDE AIR BAG, OR ANY AIR BAG, DID NOT DEPLOY. *TR
MY FIRST INCIDENT WAS WITH MY SPEED CONTROL DISENGAGING WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY. THEN MY STOPLIGHTS STAYED ON WHILE DRIVING AND WOULD GO OFF WHEN I WOULD STOP. HAD MY MECHANIC LOOK AND HE PUT ON A NEW BRAKE SWITCH. THAT DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. THEN WE DID A SEARCH ON THE INTERNET AND FOUND OTHER COMPLAINTS AND THEN LOOKED ON THIS SITE. I THEN TOOK MY CAR TO THE GM DEALER WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED AND EXPLAINED ALL THIS TO THEM STILL WASN'T FIXED AND I MUST TAKE IT BACK TO THEM AGAIN. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2007 PONTIAC G6. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE ENGINE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING AND ANOTHER VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY CRASHED INTO THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE DOOR. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE NECK AND LEFT THUMB, WHICH DID NOT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNAVAILABLE.
TL-THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, HE NOTICED THAT THERE WAS PULLING MOTION ON THE PASSENGER'S SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE RECURRED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 14V224000 (POWER TRAIN). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 PONTIAC G6. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED WITHOUT WARNING AND THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAG FAILED TO DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V064000 (STEERING). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 83,000.
THE BRAKE LIGHTS COME ON, AND STAY ON, WHILE DRIVING AND GO OFF WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL IS DEPRESSED. (EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE OF THE WAY IT SHOULD) WHEN PARKED, THE BRAKE LIGHTS WILL STAY ON UNLESS THE BRAKE IS FULLY DEPRESSED TO THE FLOOR. (SOMETHING THAT CAN NOT BE DONE WHILE DRIVING) ONCE IT IS RELEASED, THEY WILL CONTINUE TO STAY ON, EVEN WHEN BRAKE PEDAL IS NOT DEPRESSED. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND AFTER REVIEWING THE MULTITUDE OF COMPLAINTS THIS APPEARS TO BE A COMMON ISSUE WITH G6 CARS. *TR
THE POWER STEERING FIRST BEGAN TO FAIL UPON STARTING THE CAR. IF I TURNED THE IGNITION OFF AND THEN BACK ON THE PROBLEM WAS CORRECTED. AFTER ABOUT A WEEK OF THIS THE POWER STEERING BEGAN TO FAIL WHILE I WAS DRIVING. I HAD TO PAY OVER $800 TO HAVE THE STEERING SENSOR AND POWER STEERING MOTOR REPLACED. EVEN THEN, THE MECHANIC HAD A VERY DIFFICULT TIME GETTING THE NEW SENSOR TO CALIBRATE. *TR
GENERAL MOTORS HAS DECIDED THAT A DEFECT WHICH RELATES TO MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY EXISTS IN 2004-2012 MALIBU, 2004-2007 MALIBU MAXX, 2005-2010 PONTIAC G6, 2007-2010 SATURN AURA VEHICLES. ON THESE VEHICLES, OVER TIME AN INCREASED RESISTANCE CAN DEVELOP IN THE BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) CONNECTION SYSTEM AND RESULT IN VOLTAGE FLUCTUATIONS OR INTERMITTENCY IN THE BRAKE APPLY SENSOR (BAS) CIRCUIT THAT CAN CAUSE SERVICE BRAKE LAMP MALFUNCTION. AS A RESULT, THE SERVICE BRAKE LAMPS MAY ILLUMINATE WHEN THE SERVICE BRAKES ARE NOT BEING APPLIED, OR MAY NOT ILLUMINATE WHEN THE SERVICE BRAKES ARE BEING APPLIED. THERE WAS A RECALL UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 06V417000 (AIR BAGS), HOWEVER THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE DEFECT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 128,000. I HAVE A 2007 PONTIAC G6 AND I AM HAVING ISSUES WITH THE BRAKE LIGHTS MALFUNCTIONING. THE BRAKE LIGHTS WILL COME ON WHEN I AM NOT PRESSING DOWN THE BRAKES AND WHEN I DO PRESS ON THE BRAKES THE BRAKE LIGHTS GO OFF. THIS JUST STARTED TO HAPPEN. WHILE DRIVING THROUGH A TUNNEL WHICH COMES UP TO A SHARP BEND A LITTLE AFTER EXITING AT ABOUT 45 MILES PER HOUR I FELT LIKE I WAS NOT IN CONTROL OF MY CAR AS IT FELT AS IF IT WAS LOCKING UP AND MOVING IN ITS OWN DIRECTION. SO I HIT THE BRAKES (JUST GOT BRAKES DONE) TO SLOW DOWN A BIT BUT IT DIDN'T SEEM TO BRAKE QUICK ENOUGH FOR ME TO FEEL SAFE. SO BEFORE COMING TO THE BEND THERE IS ANOTHER EXIT TO GO INTO TOWN THAT I TOOK TO DRIVE AT A SLOWER SPEED. WHILE TAKING THAT WAY HOME I HAD LIGHTS TO STOP AT AND AS I ACCELERATE IT WAS HESITANT AT TIMES TO PICK UP. LASTLY EVERY TIME I START UP THE CAR THERE IS A TICKING NOISE THAT IS CONSISTENT WHICH I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS FROM. THE BRAKES MAY BE AN ISSUE WITH WHO DID MY BRAKES BUT THE POWER STEERING IS AN ISSUE AND WHEN I WAITED UNTIL TODAY TO CHECK THE FLUID I COULD NOT LOCATE SO I WENT ONLINE TO FIND OUT WHERE IT WAS AND COME TO FIND OUT I MAY HAVE AN ELECTRICAL ONE AND FOUND NUMEROUS REPORTS REGARDING POWER STEERING ISSUES. I HAD REAR ENDED SOMEBODY ON THE FREEWAY DOING APPROX 35 MPH. THE DAMAGE TO MY CAR INCLUDED FOLDED UP HOOD, PUNCTURED RADIATOR, BUSTED UP BUMPER AND BOTH HEADLIGHTS. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THERE LOOKED TO BE SUFFICIENT DAMAGE AND SPEED TO CAUSE THEM TO POP. NOT SURE WHY THEY DIDN'T. I HAD MY SEAT BELT ON BUT AM STILL VERY SORE FROM THE ACCIDENT AND IT JUST HAPPENED TODAY. *TR

THE STEERING IS ELECTRICAL SO THERE ISN'T A PLACE TO PUT POWER STEERING FLUID WHICH MAKES FOR A VERY DIFFICULT TIME TRYING TO TURN. I'VE HAD THE OUTER TIRE RODS REPLACED AS WELL AS THE RACK AND PINIONS AND NOW I'VE BEEN TOLD THAT THE ENTIRE STEERING COLUMN HAS TO BE REPLACED. WHERE IS THE RECALL ON THIS CAR!!!! *TR

THIS HAPPENED TWICE ON THIS DAY AND ONCE THE NEXT DAY. TODAY, A MONTH LATER, THE SAME THING RECURRED BUT I DID NOT STOP THE CAR TO TURN IT OFF. I WAS DRIVING TO WORK, AND WHILE MERGING, THE POWER STEERING ALARM CAME ON AND THE POWER STEERING STOPPED WORKING. I WAS ABLE TO GET TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WITHOUT CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. I TURNED THE CAR OFF, AND BACK ON. EVERYTHING SEEMED TO BE WORKING AGAIN AT THAT POINT. LESS THAN ONE MILE LATER, THE SAME ISSUE OCCURRED. THERE WAS NOT REALLY A SHOULDER TO PULL OVER TO AND I ENDED UP IN SOMEONE'S DRIVEWAY TO AVOID AND ACCIDENT, AS THIS WAS A VERY WELL TRAVELED ROUTE. LUCKILY, THERE WERE NO ACCIDENTS INVOLVED AND THAT MY DAUGHTER WAS NOT IN THE CAR WITH ME. THEY ENDED UP REPLACING THE WHOLE STEERING ASSEMBLY. IT HAD BEEN GIVING ME THE WARNINGS IN THE MORNING, WHICH WE THOUGHT WAS DUE TO THE COLD. WE DIDN'T REALIZE AT THE TIME THAT THE POWER STEERING WAS ELECTRICALLY CONTROLLED. I COULD NOT IMAGINE WHAT WOULD OF HAPPENED IF I WAS IN THE CITY AND DIDN'T HAVE THE ROOM TO PULL OVER, NOR THE SPEED TO DO IT. *TR

MY G6 SPORTS CONVERTIBLE HAS A TENDENCY TO LOCK ME IN THE CAR.. IT HAS A RETRACTABLE ROOF AND THE WINDOWS FUNCTION UP AND DOWN AND INCH FOR SECURITY REASONS WHEN USING THE ROOF.. ON SUCH DAY, I WAS NOT USING THE ROOF AND PULLED IN MY DRIVEWAY AND PUT IT IN PARK AND THE DRIVER DOOR LOCKED ME IN... WOULD NOT LET ME OPEN THE DOOR .. I TURNED OFF THE RADIO THINKING IT MAY HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT BUT DIDNT.. THE ONLY DOOR THAT WOULD OPEN WAS THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR.. IF THAT WOULD NOT HAVE LET ME OUT I WOULD HAVE BEEN LOCKED INSIDE MY VEHICLE.. ALSO, THE TRACTION LIGHT COMES ON WHEN I DIDNT EVEN HAVE IT ON.. IN SUMMER I DO NOT USE THE TRACTION FEATURE, ONLYIF IT IS RAINING HARD. THREE TIMES FOR THE LIGHT AND TWO TIMES NOW LOCKING ME IN.. I CONTACTED A PONTIAC SERVICE REP AND HE SAID I PROBABLY HAVE A DOOR LOCK DEFECT. AFTER MANY ATTEMPTS ONCE GETTING OUT OF THE CAR THROUGH THE PASSENGER SIDE MAY I NOTE THAT THE KEY WOULD NOT EVEN UNLOCK THE DOOR.. MAKES ME FEEL PETRIFIED THAT I AM GOING TO BE LOCKED IN MY CAR AND I AM CLAUSTROPHOBIC.. PLEASE GM LOOK INTO THIS ISSUE.. THIRDLY THERE IS A HISS THAT IS COMING FROM THE MOTOR AND ALL IS FINE UNDER THE HOOD, THE CAR IS PRACTICALLY NEW AT 22000 MILES AND THESE THINGS SHOULD NOT BE OCCURING..
