TAKATA RECALL. I PURCHASED THE CAR THE BEGINNING OF THIS YEAR IN JANUARY. WHEN I TEST DROVE THE CAR IT WAS ALREADY MAKING A LOUD HUMMING NOISE THAT WORSEN. ONCE PURCHASED AND DROVED OFF LOT I NOTICED THAT THE CIG LIGHTER/BATTERY CHARGER DIDN'T WORK EVEN WHEN I CHANGED THE FUSE. THE DOOR LOCKED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE GOT STUCK, THE BRAKES WENT OUT WHILE DRIVING, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS STOP WORKING WHILE DRIVING IN POURING RAIN AND NOW OUT OF NOWHERE THE TIRE ON THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE IS ON A FLAT.
I BELIEVE THE U-JOINT ISSUE ASSOCIATED WITH 2007 PONTIAC G6 ALSO AFFECTED MY VEHICLE, ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT SHOWING UP UNDER THE RECALLS FOR MY PARTICULAR VIN.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 PONTIAC G6. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO START THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT NOTICED A FUEL ODOR IN THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT EXITED THE VEHICLE AND FOUND A FUEL LEAK NEAR THE EXHAUST PIPE. THE CONTACT TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT CALLED AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND WAS INFORMED THAT THEY WERE FAMILIAR WITH THIS TYPE OF FAILURE WITH THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER (BOB HOWARD BUICK GMC, 13241 BROADWAY EXT, OKLAHOMA CITY, OK 73114, (405) 936-8800) WAS CONTACTED, BUT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 58,000.
THE SHIFT LINKAGE BUSHING WEARS OUT AND POPS OFF WHILE DRIVE CANNOT PUT BACK IN PARK
TRANSMISSION , WHEN SHIFTING INTO PARK IT WILL SOMETIMES NOT GO INTO PARK AND THE CAR WILL ROLL BACKWARDS OR CLANKING NOISE HAPPENS. ALSO WHEN U TAKE THE CAR OUT OF PARK IT WILL NOT GO INTO REVERSE!! STEERING, WHEN MAKING TURNS THERE SOMETHING GOING ON IT WANTS TO DRIFT AND MAKES A NOISE! AIRBAG SENSOR COMES ON AND GOES OFF BY ITSELF EVEN WITH A PASSENGER IN THE SEAT SAYS AIRBAG SYSTEM NOT WORKING THESE ARE ALL RECALLS BUT SAYS MY VIN# ISNT PART OF THE RECALL! BUT VEHICLE DOING EVERYTHING THATS IT SAYS IN THE RECALL
POWER STEERING ISSUES, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ARE STILL COMING ON AFTER MY MECHANIC WORKED ON IT. NOW IT'S SAYING TO CHECK MY GAS CAP AS WELL... I PULL OVER TO CHECK IT BY OPENING AND CLOSING IT AGAIN AND IT'S FINE FOR ABOUT .25-.50 OF A MILE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 PONTIAC G6. WHILE DRIVING 80 MPH WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ACTIVATED, THE WHEELS LOCKED UP. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED DURING THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (WEBSTER CITY AUTO CENTER, 129 2ND ST, WEBSTER CITY, IA 50595) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE SWITCH FAILED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 106,202. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
THE LAST YEAR MY PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT AND SEATBELT LIKE GOES ON AND OFF WHEN NO ONE IS SITTING IN THAT SEAT. MY POWER STEERING LIGHT IS GOING OFF NOW AND POWER STEERING HAS GONE OUT MULTIPLE TIMES. AT HIGH SPEEDS I FEEL LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL AND WOBBLY. AT STAND STILL AND STOP SIGNS MY STEERING WHEEL SHAKES. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE AT ALL DRIVING DUE TO A FEELING OF NO CONTROL OF THE CAR.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE POWER STEERING ASSIST MOTOR WAS REPLACED; HOWEVER, THE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V064000 (STEERING). THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 180,000.
POWER STEERING ISSUES AND IT STATES IT ON MY RADIO SCREEN THE MOMENT I PUT IT IN REVERSE. ALSO MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON, WHILE ON I HAVE ISSUES ROLLING UP/DOWN MY POWER WINDOWS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE EXTERIOR BRAKE LIGHTS FAILED TO ILLUMINATE WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND THE BRAKE WARNING INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE GEAR SHIFTER WOULD ENGAGE INTO NEUTRAL, PARK, OR DRIVE INDEPENDENTLY. THE FAILURES OCCURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BAY RIDGE CHEVROLET (1575 86TH STREET, BROOKLYN, NY 11228, 718-232-0186) WHERE A DIAGNOSTIC TEST LOCATED A FAILURE CODE FOR THE BODY CONTROL MODULE, WHICH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V252000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, EXTERIOR LIGHTING, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REPAIR DID NOT CORRECT THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,000.
WHILE DRIVING MY CAR ON THE FREEWAY, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIT UP AND A BEEP TWICE INDICATED AN ISSUE WITH POWER STEERING AND THE CAR NO LONGER MAINTAINS POWER STEERING. THERE IS A RECALL FOR THIS ISSUE 14772 FOR THE MAKE AND MODEL OF MY CAR BUT MY CAR WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THIS IS A MAJOR ISSUE THAT SHOULD COVER ALL MODELS AFFECTED IT'S DIFFICULT TO STEER WITHOUT THE POWER STEERING. I'VE ALREADY HAD MY CAR TOWED TWICE TO A DEALER THAT CANNOT FIND A PROBLEM AND I'VE SPENT OVER $200.00 TO HAVE MY BATTERY CABLES CLEANED WHICH IS WHAT I WAS TOLD WAS THE PROBLEM.
DRIVING ON FREEWAY AND POWER STEERING SIGN FLASHED WITHOUT WARNING ON SCREEN AND THEN STEERING WHEEL LOCKED GOING 65 MPH. CAUSING ME TO ALMOST CRASH AND NOW POWER STEERING DOES NOT WORK. NOW POWER STEERING DOES NOT WORK. I'M SEEING IN 2014 THERE WERE MANY RECALLS ON THIS VECHICLE AND FOR SOME ODD REASON, MY VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM FOR THIS CAR AND SHOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE. IVE CALLED GM AND THEY WILL NOT HELP ME.

THE CONTACT PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND TURNED OFF THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART, BUT THE FAILURE REMAINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
MY STEERING SHAKES UNCONTROLLABLY WHILE DRIVING AND NON-DRIVING IT STIFFENS UP WHERE I CAN'T TURN LEFT OR RIGHT. WHEN I START THE CAR IT STIFFENS AS WELL. I TOOK IT TO A CERTIFIED MECHANIC THEY SAY THAT ITS A RECALL ON IT. WHAT'S MY NEXT STEP BECAUSE THE MECHANIC SAYS HE CAN'T FIX IT. I NEED AND WOULD LIKE FOR MY CAR TO BE FIX.
THE CAR IS LEAKING FROM THE FUEL PUMP OR AN AREA CONNECTING TO IT. AFTER READING OF NUMEROUS OTHER COMPLAINTS ONLINE I DECIDED TO REPORT THIS. IN THE BEGINNING I NOTICED THE SMELL OF GAS WHEN DRIVING AND PARKED. AT THIS POINT IT IS LEAKING IN BOTH SCENARIOS.
DRIVERS SIDE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHT KEEPS BURNING OUT. THE ELECTRICAL WIRING APPEARS TO GET TOO HOT AND BURNS THE LIGHT BULB OUT. THE SOCKET AND THE BULB WOULD BOTH NEED TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE IT THE SOCKET PARTIALLY MELTS. I HAVE REPLACED THE SOCKET AND THE BULB THREE TIMES AND THE SAME THING KEEPS HAPPENING.
MY SERVICE AIR BAG LIGHT IS ON. MY PASSENGER AIR BAG DOESN'T WORK. MY TRACTION CONTROL, ESC, AND ABS LIGHT COME ON. MY PANORAMIC SUNROOF WONT CLOSE. ALL OF THESE ARE ON THE RECALL LIST BUT APPARENTLY EVERY CAR OTHER THAN MINE IS BAD. WHEN I DRIVE THE ESC LIGHT WILL COME ON AND PULL ME TO THE NEXT LANE. MY PASSENGER AIRBAG IS A SAFETY CONCERN FOR MY PASSENGERS. I WAS ON THE FREEWAY AND MY CAR WENT INTO THE OTHER LANE AND I ALMOST HIT A SEMI WITH MY KIDS IN THE CAR. THE CAR MAKES A LOUD WHISTLE NOISE WHILE DRIVING, THE CAR JERKS TO THE LEFT. THE CAR MAKES LOUD NOISES IN THE FRONT END LIKE THE CAR IS GONNA FALL APART. REPLACED THE FRONT END $1000.00 WORTH OF WORK AND STILL MAKING THE NOISE. ATE MY BRAND NEW TIRES UP. FUEL SMELL AT REAR OF VEHICLE NEAR GAS TANK. VEHICLE HAS 93K MILES.
MILES 99,543 WHEN I CAME BACK OUT THE STORE I TURN MY CAR ON TO EXPERIENCE MY STEERING WHEEL WAS HARDER TO TURN THEN USUAL. I TURN MY CAR OFF AND ON AND THE PROBLEM WAS STILL THERE. I WENT TO ADVANCE AUTO TO GET A BOTTLE OF FLUID AND FIND OUT MY STEERING WHEEL IS ELECTRIC AND THE RECALL THAT WAS ON IT EXPIRED A FEW YEARS AGO ! MY CONCERN IS WHAT IF I SPEND MY MONEY TO GET IT FIX AND THE PROBLEM OCCUR AGAIN. ANOTHEE ISSUE IS THAT MY SERVICE AIR BAG POPS UP ACROSS THE RADIO SOMETIMES

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 PONTIAC G6. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMAL RINGING NOISE. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL TIGHTENED UP AND THERE WAS A SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER STEERING. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED AND WAS UNABLE TO DRIVE FOR A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE POWER STEERING NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED TO CALL A LOCAL PONTIAC DEALER. THE CONTACT CALLED PENSKE CHEVROLET AT 314-846-666 AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V064000 (STEERING). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (CARR CHEVROLET, 15005 SW TUALATIN VALLEY HWY, BEAVERTON, OR 97006) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER STEERING ASSIST FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 122,000.
THE POWER STEERING WILL GO OUT, GOING DOWN THE ROAD OR JUST SITTING STILL. THE STEERING WHEEL WILL SHAKE LIKE CRAZY. IT WILL STAY OUT UNTIL YOU GET PULLED OFF OR STOP TURN THE CAR OFF AND THEN RESTART THE CAR. THESE VEHICLES HAVE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING THERE ISN'T ANY PLACE TO ADD POWER STEERING. IT'S A FAULT. I HAVE OWNED 2 G6 AND THEY HAVE BOTH HAD AN ISSUE, I HAD AN '09 AND NOW HAVE A '07 BOTH WITH THE SAME POWER STEERING ISSUE. IT'S A MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD, TO YOURSELF AND FELLOW DRIVERS.
TC SHUTS OFF. THE TAIL LIGHTS QUIT WORKING. I CHANGED THE BULBS WITH NEW ONES AND NOW THE BLIKERS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE IS NOT WORKING. THE TAIL LIGHTS ARE STILL NOT WORKING. POSSIBLE SHORT, CORRODED, OR BAD CONNECTION. I CANNOT DRIVE THIS SAFELY DURING LOW LIGHT CONDITIONS.

WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED, IT OPERATED AS INTENDED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 137,000.
POWER STEERING FAULTED OUT IN MY CAR WITH NO WARNING. CAR WAS PARKED THANK GOD CAR STARTED GAVE POWER STEERING FAULT STEERING WHEEL WOULD NOT MOVE AND CAR WOULD NOT EITHER. TAKEN TO SHOP WHEN KICKED BACK IN AFTER RESTARTING CAR 9 TIMES. PARKED AT DEALERSHIP THEN DID NOT MOVE SINCE HAD TO BE TOWED TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP TO HAVE DIAGNOSTICS DONE. STEERING WHEEL SHOOK REALLY BAD WHILE DRIVING AND SITTING STILL UNTIL IT STOPPED WORKING ALL TOGETHER AT THE DEALERSHIP. IF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING IT COULD HAVE BEEN REALLY BAD. THIS HAPPENED WITH NO WARNING AT ALL WENT TO START MY VEHICLE AND JUST HAPPENED. VEHICLE HAS BEEN FIXED I AM LOOKING FOR REIMBURSEMENT DUE TO RECALL INFOMATION ASSOCCIATED WITH THIS ISSUE.
STRONG ODOR OF GASOLINE AFTER DRIVING THE CAR WHEN PARKED OUTSIDE OR IN A GARAGE. NO SIGNS OF FUEL LEAKS ON THE GROUND. THE VEHICLE HAS ONLY 65K MILES ON IT. THIS CAN POSE A DANGER SINCE MANY HOME HAVE THE HOT WATER HEATER IN THE GARAGE WITH A PILOT LIGHT. ALSO THIS FUEL ODOR IS AROUND THE EXHAUST SYSTEM OF THE CAR. DO WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL SOMEONE DIES OR LOSES THEIR HOME BEFORE GM WITH TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR POOR ENGINEERING?
VEHICLE HAS BEEN SITTING SINCE THE FIRST OF FEBRUARY DUE TO A CONSTANT COOLANT LEAK. LEAK FIRST APPEARED AT BOTTOM CORNER PASSENGER SIDE OF RADIATOR, AND WITHIN A WEEK HAD ALSO SHOWED UP ON BOTTOM CORNER DRIVER SIDE OF RADIATOR. EVENTUALLY WOUND UP REPLACING THE OVERFLOW RESERVOIR, 3/4" HOSE TEE LOCATED DIRECTLY UNDER OVERFLOW, SEVERAL CLAMPS, TRANSMISSION COOLING LINES, INSTALLED BRAND NEW RADIATOR AND OIL PRESSURE SWITCH LOCATED DIRECTLY ABOVE OIL FILTER. AFTER 10 DAYS WITH ABSOLUTELY NO LEAKS, THEY REAPPEARED IN EXACTLY THE SAME LOCATIONS. FINALLY TRACED LEAK ON PASSENGER SIDE TO UPPER CORNER PASSENGER SIDE OF INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET, AND THE DRIVER SIDE LEAK TRACES TO ALMOST DIRECTLY AT THE COOLANT CROSSOVER PIPE GASKET. NOW, I'M AGAIN FACING ANOTHER $200 PAYOUT TO THE PARTS STORE.! I'M GOING TO MAKE THIS REPAIR MYSELF, AS I HAVE MADE ALL REPAIRS FOR THE PREVIOUS 6 MONTHS. MY 07 G6 WAS WONDERFUL FOR THE FIRST 3 YEARS OF OWNERSHIP, BUT THE LAST 3 YEARS HAVE BECOME NOTHING MORE THAN AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. IF I COULD FILE FOR REIMBURSEMENT FOR MY EXPENSES DURING THIS TIME I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT THAT WITH THE PRICES OF PARTS, CURRENT HOURLY RATE CHARGE SET AT $75-$100 HOUR, AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR TIME SPENT WASTING TIME GOING TO PICK UP PARTS THE TOTAL WOULD MOST LIKELY COME OUT TO $8000-$9500. I CAN'T EVEN AFFORD TO PAY FOR ANOTHER VEHICLE, AND SADLY I ALSO CAN'T AFFORD TO CONTINUE INVESTING IN A VEHICLE THAT HAS BECOME A MECHANICAL MONSTROSITY WITH AN EXTREMELY VORACIOUS APPETITE FOR PARTS AND MONEY.
I LIVE IN ALASKA AND I'VE NEVER GOTTEN A NOTICE AND I'VE BEEN IN TWO COLLISION BECAUSE OF IT AND I HAVEN'T KNOWN WHY. I'VE HAD TO PAY MY DEDUCTIBLE BECAUSE OF IT AND NUMEROUS DAMAGES BECAUSE OF IT.
CRUISE CONTROL WORKS INTERMITTINGLY. TODAY, CRUISE CONTROL DID NOT GO OFF WHEN BRAK PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. I HAD TO REPEATEDLY STOMP ON THE PEDAL UNTIL IT FINALLY WENT OFF. VEHICLE WAS ON THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY, AS I WAS APPROACHING AN EXIT.
I HAVE AN 07 PONTIAC G6 WITH 137000 MILES, WITH LITTLE WARNING MY POWER STEERING LIGHT CAME ON AND I HAD NO POWER STEERING. I WAS ON THE INTERSTATE TRAVELING 70MPH. I WAS ABLE TO GET OFF ON THE NEXT EXIT AND TURN MY CAR OFF/ON AND IT WAS FINE. WELL IT HAPPENED AGAIN ABT 30 MINUTES LATER. AFTER DOING RESEARCH IT SAID THAT SOME RECALLS HAVE BEEN MADE DUE TO THIS ISSUE BUT USING MY VIN NUMBER MY CAR IS NOT ELLIGABLE. I'M AT A LOSS, WHAT DO I DO NOW?
ELECTRICAL ASSIST POWER STEERING QUITS WORKING WHILE DRIVING RESULTING IN LOSS OF STEERING. HAS ALMOST CAUSED ME TO WRECK MULTIPLE TIMES. GM SAYS THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO. ISSUE HAPPENS WHILE DRIVING AND WHILE SITTING STILL. HAPPENS WHILE GOING STRAIGHT AND ALSO WHILE TURNING ON ANY TYPE OF ROAD.

THE CONTACT CALLED KING CHEVROLET BUICK GMC AT 303-776-2650 AND WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 195,738.

CALLED GM BECAUSE I SEEN WHERE THE NHTSA HAD A RECALL ON ALL 2007 PONTIAC G6 FOR STEERING:ELECTRIC POWER ASSIST SYSTEM RECALL# 15V064000 WITH RECALL DATE: 2/4/2015 BUT WHEN I CALLED GM THEY SAID THEY DONT SEE A RECALL FOR MY CAR EVEN THOUGH I AM HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE AND THE NHTSA HAS RECALLED THIS PROBLEM FOR VEHICLES LIKE MINE. WAS VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE WAY GM TREATED ME ABOUT THIS MATTER. ALSO WANT TO KNOW WHY GM HAS SO MUCH INFORMATION ABOUT THE STEERING RECALL AND WHEN I CALL DEALER TO HAVE IT FIXED THEY DONT SEE THE RECALL ON MY CAR

AT 67,000 MILES DURING OIL CHANGE, ATTENDANT NOTICED GAS SMELL AND FOUND FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY HOSE COMING OUT OF GAS TANK TO BE CRACKED AND FUEL RUNNING DOWN FUEL TANK NEXT TO MUFFLER PIPE. DANGEROUS. REMOVED FUEL TANK AND UPON INSPECTION CONFIRMED PROBLEM. HAD FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY REPLACED AT COST OF OVER $800 DOLLARS. OUTRAGEOUS.
ESP IS FAILING. STEERING WHEEL IS SHAKING AND JERKING AT ALL SPEEDS AND AT IDLE. CAUSES VEHICLE TO VEER IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS.
FEBRUARY 2017 I WAS DRIVING AND MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP ON ME. I TURNED THE IGNITION OFF & THEN TURNED THE CAR BACK ON & IT NEVER HAPPENED AGAIN UNTIL 11/13/17. I WAS DRIVING & MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP. I ALMOST CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. I CALLED GREENWOOD CHEVROLET HUBBARD TO INQUIRE ABOUT ANY RECALLS & I WAS TOLD THERE WERE NO RECALLS AT THIS TIME & THE RECALLS THAT WERE ISSUED I WAS SERVICED FOR. 11/13/17 WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT I CALLED TO INQUIRE ABOUT RECALLS FOR MY CAR. I CALL OFTEN WHEN I SEE OTHER GM CARS HAVE RECALLS. I CALLED GM TO INQUIRE ABOUT A RECALL & I WAS GIVEN THE SAME INFORMATION THAT GREENWOOD GAVE. I TOOK MY CAR TO FIRESTONE COMPLETE AUTO CARE ON 11/15/17 & THEY MADE ME AWARE OF RECALL # 15356. THEY FOUND THE RECALL INFORMATION WHEN THEY RAN THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THEY SUGGESTED THAT I TAKE MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP & LET THE RECALL FIX THE ISSUE. WHEN I CALL THE DEALERSHIP AND GM I WAS TOLD THAT THE RECALL EXPIRED ON MARCH 12, 2017. I NEVER RECEIVED AND TYPE OF CORRESPONDENCE ABOUT THE RECALL. WHAT IF I GET IN A CAR ACCIDENT AND HARM SOMEONE ELSE OR MYSELF. I FEEL THAT GM SHOULD HAVE TO PAY TO FIX A FAULTY PART THAT THEY INSTALLED INTO THEIR PRODUCT. I ALSO KEEP GETTING A CHECK AIR BAG SIGNAL ON MY CAR EVERY SO OFTEN. I'M ALMOST SCARED TO DRIVE MY CAR. I ALSO CALLED THE DEALERSHIP THAT I PURCHASED THE CAR FROM AND THEY STATED THAT I WOULD'VE HAD TO CALL IF I WAS HAVING THE PROBLEM THEN THEY WOULD'VE HONORED THE RECALL. FUEL LEAK SEEPAGE FROM TOP OF TANK/FUEL PUMP
THE STEERING ON THE G6 IS HARD AND OFTEN INCAPACITATED. MAKE LOUD NOISES AND EVEN THOUGH THE POWER STEERING FLUID HAS BEEN FLUSHED, REPLACED, AND REFILLED IT IS STILL HAPPENING. MY TEENAGE DAUGHTERS DRIVE THIS CAR AND IT IS UNSAFE. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY VIA A RECALL NOTICE!

THE CONTACT CALLED A LOCAL DEALER (LORENZO BUICK GMC, 8447 NW 12TH ST, MIAMI, FL 33126) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 117,000.
MY 07 G6 V6 SEEMS TO LOSE POWER STEERING INTERMITTENTLY. THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW WHEN IT WILL HAPPEN.
