MY WIPERS FAIL DURING RAIN. FIRST EVENT AT 70MPH IN HEAVY RAIN....VERY DANGEROUS. HAVE STOPPED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. DEALER CANNOT REPLICATE AND HESITATE TO DO ANYTHING. I HAVE VIDEO BUT IT CAN'T BE UPLOADED ON YOUR SITE.
WHILE DRIVING A BRAND NEW DODGE RAM 1500 (2019) THE TRUCK SUDDENLY LOST POWER AND I WAS NOT ABLE TO CONTROL THE STEERING OF THE TRUCK, NOR COULD I CONTROL THE TRUCK. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON THE CITY STREETS AS WELL AS THE HIGHWAY AND IT IS VERY SCARY.
WHEN I WAS DRIVING MY TRUCK TO SLOW DOWN THE VEHICLE WAS COMPLETELY TURNED OFF AND IT IS THE SECOND TIME IT HAPPENS, TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALER COMES A LOW-VOLTAGE CODE IN THE BATTERY THAT THEY TELL ME IS WHEN YOU DO NOT DRIVE FOR A GOOD TIME , BUT THIS IS MY VEHICLE OF DAILY USE. CITY STREET
I LET MY SON OFF AT TSC DOOR, TURNED TO PARK, AND BAM!!, LOUD NOISE AS IF I HIT CONCRETE. I PROCEEDED TO MOVE FORWARD, TO ONLY HAVE MY TRUCK VEER TO THE LEFT, BUMPING UP NEXT TO POLE. I REVERSED SLIGHTLY AND MY LEFT FRONT SIDE WENT DOWN. I STOPPED. GOT OUT AND SEEN MY FRONT LEFT TIRE DOWN INWARD, FOUND A BROKEN PIECE UNDER THE FRONT OF THE TRUCK. CALLED MY INSURANCE SF, WAS TOLD TO CALL CHRYSLER BECAUSE MY VEHICLE IS UNDER WARRANTY. CHRYSLER CONTACTED. TRUCK WAS TOWED TO NEAREST CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP. THIS OCCURED APRIL 9TH, 2019. I JUST BOUGHT THE TRUCK JAN. 4TH, 2019. THE BROKEN PIECE IS THE KNUCKLE TO THE SPINDLE, MY STEERING WAS GONE. IT SAT AT THE DEALERSHIP UNTIL APRIL 26TH, 2019. HAVING BEEN SEEN BY 3 CHRYSLER REPRESENTATIVES, 2 OF WHICH DEEMED THE PART DEFECTIVE, THE 3RD DEEMED IT MY FAULT FOR HITTING THE POLE, DENYING MY CLAIM. STATE FARM NOTIFIED AND FILED A CLAIM AS COLLISION?? TRANSFERRED TRUCK TO COLLISION CENTER TO START REPAIRS ON MAY 8TH,2019. STATE FARM WILL NOT PAY FOR DEFECTIVE SPINDLE, STATES CHRYSLERS RESONSIBILTY. CHRYSLER DENIES THAT SPINDLE IS DEFECTIVE. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE!! I WAS LUCKY IN THAT IT BROKE IN A PARKING LOT AND NOT ON THE ROAD. THIS IS PROBABLY GOING TO HAPPEN TO SOMEONE ELSE AND MAY END UP A FATALITY. CHRYLSER NEEDS TO TAKE OWNERSHIP AND RECALL THESE SPINDLES. THE NEW SPINDLES THAT ARE ABOUT TO BE PUT ON MY TRUCK ARE NOTABLY BETTER MADE. OBVIOUSLY CHRYSLER IS AWARE! FOR MY PIECE OF MIND.....I AM REPLACING THE ONE ON THE RIGHT AS WELL. THIS IS OUT OF MY POCKET TO REPLACE THOSE.
DRIVING MY TRUCK IN THE CITY AT THE TIME OF STOPPING THE COMPUTER AS IT DISCONNECTS THE CHANGE AND ASKS ME TO PUT IT BACK ON THE P AND THEN SELECT MY GEAR AGAIN, AND THAT ALREADY APASADO TWICE AS WELL.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AUTO START/STOP FEATURE WAS NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY AS THE VEHICLE HAD LUNGED FORWARD SEVERAL TIMES CAUSING THE CONTACT TO APPLY EXTREME FORCE TO THE BRAKE PEDAL TO SLOW DOWN AND STOP THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER (LUSTINE CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM, 14211 JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY, WOODBRIDGE, VA 22191, (703) 496-5202)) HAD NOT TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE YET TO DETERMINE IF THEY MAY BE ABLE TO REPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS UNCERTAIN IF THE FEATURE MAY CAUSE A CATASTROPHIC CRASH DUE TO THE INTERMITTENT FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE TO DETERMINE IF THEY HAD A REMEDY. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 11.
TRUCK HAS 442 MILES ON IT, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON BEGAN FLASHING. ENGINE MALFUNCTION LIGHT INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. SLUGGISH ON ACCELERATION, BLOWS HEAT REGARDLESS OF TEMPERATURE SETTING. ALL WHILE IN MOTION.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 RAM 1500. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS AND MAKING LEFT TURNS, THE STEERING WHEEL MOMENTARILY SEIZED BEFORE RETURNING TO THE CENTER POSITION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS NOT PRESENT WHEN MAKING RIGHT TURNS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MCCLURG CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP (LOCATED AT 125 N CENTER ST, PERRY, NY 14530, (585) 969-3496) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO RETRIEVE A FAULT CODE. THE MECHANIC WAS ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MECHANIC PERFORMED MINOR ADJUSTMENTS ON THE FRONT SUSPENSION AND STEERING; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS INTERMITTENT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,200. *BF*JB
2019 RAM LARAMIE GEAR SELECTOR WILL SHOW DRIVE AND NOT MOVE UNTIL THE RPM IS @ 2000 AND THEN SLAM INTO GEAR. THIS WAS AFTER BACKING INTO A PARKING SPOT AND THEN IMMEDIATELY GOING INTO DRIVE TO REPOSITION THE TRUCK. THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE. ONCE AN HOUR AFTER PURCHASE AND ONCE THE NEXT DAY. I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE 3 DAYS AGO, 3/29/19.
I WAS DRIVING ON INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 75 AND MY CAR SLIMIEST TURNED OFF AND SPUTTERED. I SLOWED DOWN LIKE I STOPPED ON BREAKS AND A 18 WHEELER HAD TO CHANGE LANES. I HEARD A POP AND THOUGHT IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN GAS BUT TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND FOUND OUT THE ENGINE LIFTERS HAS BROKEN/POPPED. THIS IS A DEFECT THAT COULD CAUSE LIVES TO BE LOST IF THE TRUCK HAS NOT BEEN PAYING ATTENTION. THE CAR HAS BEEN WELL MAINTAINED AND I WAS TOLD BY THE DEALERSHIP AND MY SERVICE TECHNICIANS THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TO NUMEROUS RAM TRUCKS WITH HEMI'S 2013, 2014, AND 2015. THE MILEAGE RANGE THAT THIS HAPPENS IS FROM 40,000 TO 80,000 MILES WITHOUT WARNING.
2019 RAM 1500 CLASSIC. EVERY TIME SMALL ROCK HITS THE WINDSHIELD IT WILL CHIP IT. GUARANTEED. I ALREADY HAVE 6 CHIPS IN 3 MONTHS OF OWNERSHIP AND 3000 MOSTLY LOCAL-DRIVING MILES. THIS NEVER HAPPENED ON ANY OTHER VEHICLE I OWNED OR HAVE DRIVEN
WHILE DRIVING FOR ABOUT HALF HOUR AT 50MPH OR MORE THE STEERING SEEMS TO STICK WHEN I MAKE SLIGHT LEFT OR RIGHT TURNS TO SWITCH LANES OR MAKE SMALL TURNS. THE TRANSMISSION FAILED WHILE I WAS DRIVING. THE VEHICLE COASTED TO A STOP AND BECAME IMMOBILE. I COULD NOT GET THE TRANSMISSION TO SHIFT INTO NEUTRAL AND I WAS LEFT IN AN UNSAFE SITUATION AS MY VEHICLE WAS BLOCKING THE ROAD. THE POLICE AND OTHERS ARRIVED BUT NOBODY COULD MOVE THE TRUCK UNTIL THE TOW TRUCK ARRIVED.
WHILE DRIVING DOWN A CURVY RURAL ROAD, MY VEHICLE LOST ALL THROTTLE CONTROL. I ALMOST WRECKED AND HAD TO STOP AT THE "EXIT" OF A BLIND 55MPH CORNER. THE VEHICLE HAD MULTIPLE CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS ON INCLUDING A ELECTROMIC THROTTLE CONTROL FAILURE LIGHT, PARK BRAKE FAILURE LIGHT, TRAILER BRAKE FAILURE LIGHT (NO TRAILER CONNECTED AT THE TIME), AND A GENERIC CHECK ENGINE LIGHT.
I STARTED MY TRUCK AND BEFORE I COULD PUT IT IN GEAR, A 'THROTTLE FAILURE' WARNING MESSAGE APPEARED ON MY DASH ALONG WITH SEVERAL WARNING LIGHTS/SYMBOLS. I HAD NO THROTTLE RESPONSE AND THE ENGINE WAS STUCK AT APPROXIMATELY 1,000 RPM'S. I 'LIMPED' HOME AT A NEAR IDLE. I COULD PRESS THE GAS PEDAL A LITTLE OR A LOT, AND GOT NOTHING FROM THE TRUCK.
AFTER ~ 1000 MILES THE STEERING WHEEL DOES NOT RE-CENTER WHILE MAKING LEFT TURNS - EITHER ON EXIT/ENTRY RAMPS (BROAD SLOW TURNS) OR HARD LEFT TURNS. STEERING FIGHTS YOU TO BRING WHEEL AND TRUCK BACK TO CENTER. THIS HAPPENS AFTER DRIVING FOR AT LEAST 30 FOR 40 MINUTES AND IS ONLY FOR LEFT TURNS. IT DOES NOT HAPPEN FOR RIGHT TURNS. HAPPENS AFTER AND DURING HIGHWAY DRIVING. WHEN TURNING RIGHT, THE TURN HAPPENS AND THEN THE WHEELS NATURALLY RE-CENTER. THIS IS HARD TO DESCRIBE AND A SHORT TEST DRIVE DOES NOT PRODUCE THE PROBLEM. IT HAS TO BE DRIVEN FOR AT LEAST 30 MINUTES MOSTLY AT HIGHWAY SPEED. THIS IS HAPPENING FREQUENTLY..

THE BRAKE PEDAL WOULD EITHER BECOME REALLY SOFT OR IT WOULD TRAVEL TO THE FLOORBOARD WHEN DEPRESSED. THE FAILURES OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO BUTRNESS CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (1421 W MAIN ST, WHITEWATER, WI 53190, (262) 473-6060) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT THE FAILURES COULD NOT BE REPLICATED. THE SERVICE MANAGER STATED THAT NEW BRAKE MASTER CYLINDERS MAY NEED TO BE INSTALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,100.

APPLE CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF HANOVER (200 EISENHOWER DR, HANOVER, PA 17331, 717-637-1101) WAS UNABLE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME FRAME DUE TO THE PART BEING ON A NATION-WIDE BACKORDER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
PARK TO DRIVE SHIFTING PROBLEM. TRANSMISSION AND INDICATORS GO TO FROM PARK TO DRIVE, HOWEVER VEHICLE DOES NOT MOVE. TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM YOU MUST PLACE THE VEHICLE IN REVERSE, THAN INTO DRIVE. IF YOU HIT GAS WHEN IT IS STUCK VEHICLE DOES NOT MOVE, THEN WILL LUNGE FORWARD AAT AN UNSAFE SPEED. VEHICLE HAS LESS THAN 80 MILES HAS HAPPENED 5 TIMES ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 RAM 1500. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE REGARDING NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V067000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). WHILE DRIVING 10 MPH, THE BRAKE PEDAL SEPARATED AND FAILED TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WAS ENGAGED TO BRING THE VEHICLE TO A COMPLETE STOP. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HOBLIT RAM TRUCK CENTER (1990 HAYS LN, WOODLAND, CA 95776, (530) 662-4667) WHERE THE RECALL REPAIR WAS BEING PERFORMED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE PEDAL SEPARATED AGAIN DURING THE RECALL REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 6,000.
I WAS DRIVING FORWARD AT APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH. I ATTEMPTED TO SLOW DOWN BY LETTING OFF THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, BUT THE TRUCK KEPT GOING. I WAS ABLE TO STOP, BY USING THE BRAKE, BUT IF I LET OFF THE BRAKE, THE TRUCK WOULD ACCELERATE. I DROVE TO DEALERSHIP WITHOUT USING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THE TRUCK WAS LITERALLY STUCK AT 1500 RPM'S. A 'THROTTLE FAILURE' MESSAGE APPEARED ON THE DASH, ALONG WITH BASICALLY EVERY WARNING LIGHT AND SYMBOL.
WHILE DRIVING, THE BLIND SPOT MIRROR DETECTION DEVICE FAILED TO OPERATE AT ALL. NORMALLY WHEN A CAR IS ALONGSIDE YOU IN YOUR BLIND SPOT, A YELLOW ARROW WOULD BE INDICATED IN YOUR MIRROR. THE YELLOW ARROW FAILED TO APPEAR EVEN DURING SEVERAL TESTS OF THE FEATURE. THE CONSUMER RELIES HEAVILY ON THIS DEVICE AND THE VEHICLE FAILED TO INFORM ME THAT IT WAS NOT WORKING. NOT WORKING (NO YELLOW LIGHT IN MIRROR MEANS IT'S SAFE TO ENTER ANOTHER LANE). NOT WORKING, NOT WORKING IS A RECIPE FOR DISASTER.
SINCE THE FIRST WEEK WE BOUGHT THE VEHICLE WE HAVE HAD A BURNING WIRE SMELL. TOOK THE VEHICLE TO 2 DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS AND THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE ISSUE EVEN HAVING THE VEHICLE FOR 4 DAYS. SCHEDULED TO TAKE IT BACK AND IT BURNED SITTING MY DRIVEWAY PARKED AND OFF. WE ALSO HAD AN ISSUE OF THE VEHICLE CUTTING OFF WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. WE WERE TAKING IT BACK DUE TO THE DISPLAY SCREEN HAD TURNED BLUE FOR THE RADIO AND THE BURNING WIRE SMELL. WE WERE SCARED IT WOULD CATCH FIRE.
RECALL STATING MY BRAKE PEDAL MAY FALL OFF WHICH CAN BE DANGEROUS TO MYSELF AND 2 KIDS OR OTHER DRIVERS ON THE ROAD.
THIS 2019 RAM 1500 HAS SERIOUS PROBLEMS. IT SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE DRIVEN ON THE ROAD EVER AGAIN. I WOULD FEAR FOR MY OWN LIFE ALONG WITH OTHER PEOPLE ON THE ROAD. WHILE DRIVING MY 2019 RAM ELECTRONICS THROUGH OUT THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO FAIL. THIS WAS WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH ON THE FREEWAY. POWER STEERING, SHIFTER GEAR, ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL, AIRBAGS, 4WD SYSTEM, TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM, ABS SYSTEM, AUTO BRAKE SYSTEM ALL FAILED AT ONCE. NO HEADLIGHTS NO BRAKE LIGHTS AND NO TURN SIGNALS. THE DASHBOARD EVEN SHUT OFF. THIS IS A SERIOUS NIGHTMARE AND A DANGER TO EVERYONE. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED WITH MY VEHICLE AND ONLY WAS DRIVEN 20 MILES AFTER IS WAS SUPPOSEDLY FIXED. THEY REPLACED THE ECM. I BELIEVE THAT IF A LESS EXPERIENCED DRIVER WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE IT FOR SURE WOULD HAVE ENDED UP IN A ACCIDENT. AT THIS TIME CHRYSLER AND SNETHKAMP CDJR CANNOT FIGURE OUT WHAT THE EXACT ISSUE IS TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE
MY TRUCK WAS DELIVERED WITH NO BOLTS SECURING THE REAR OF MY DRIVER'S SEAT TO THE FLOOR. I CAN COMPLETELY LIFT UP THE BACK OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT. *DT*JB

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO GOLLING CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF CHELSEA (1500 S MAIN ST, CHELSEA, MI 48118, (734) 475-8661) FOUR TIMES, BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE REPLICATED. THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED IN MAY OF 2018. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 31,000.
The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while using the power button to close the side view power mirrors, they folded inward and touched the window. The mirrors continued to make an abnormal clicking noise. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed that the gear on the passenger’s side mirror needed to be repaired. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted. The driver's side mirror was making an abnormal clicking noise but was not diagnosed or repaired. There were no warning lights illuminated. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 4,000.
THE TRUCK WAS BACKED UP IN THE DRIVEWAY.WHEN SHIFTING FROM PARK TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE REMAINED IN PARK AND THE ENGINE REVVED UP. TRIED AGAIN AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED EXCEPT AS THE RPM'S WERE COMING DOWN THE TRANSMISSION JUMPED INTO GEAR AND THE TRUCK LUNGED FORWARD WITHOUT WARNING.
SAFETY RECALL FOR STEERING GROUND CABLE WAS FIXED BY DEALER AND MY POWER STEERING IS STILL INTERMITTENTLY GOING AWAY CAUSING STEERING TO LOCK UP TEMPORARILY. TAKING BACK TO DEALER FOR SECOND TIME TO SEE IF THEY CAN FIX IT. IT IS NOT SAFE AND ALMOST CAUSED ME TO CROSS THE CENTER LINE AT 55 MPH AND HIT A CAR HEAD ON.
I TOOK MY TRUCK INTO THE DEALERSHIP FOR PROBLEMS WITH THE FUEL ECONOMY BEING SEVERELY BELOW THE EPA RATING. WHILE AT THE DEALERSHIP, I FOUND OUT THAT THE DEALERSHIP SOLD ME A BRAND NEW TRUCK WITH TWO OPEN RECALLS THAT WERE UNREPAIRED. I BELIEVE THIS IS ILLEGAL.
WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS, INITIATING A SWEEPING LEFT HAND TURN, LIKE AN ON-RAMP, THE STEERING WHEEL 'STICKS' TO THE LEFT WANTING TO CONTINUE A SWEEPING LEFT TURN AND REQUIRING A SIGNIFICANT PULL TO FORCE RECENTERING THE TRUCK. (DESCRIBES LIKE BREAKING A BOLT LOOSE). INTERMITTENT REPLICATION REQUIRING HIGHWAY SPEEDS MEANS DEALERSHIP IS WRITING IT OFF AS 'NORMAL OPERATION'.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY FEEDER ROAD, AND THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME MADE AN EMERGENCY STOP. I SLAMMED ON MY BRAKES, AND SWERVED INTO THE LANE TO THE RIGHT OF ME. A CAR WAS COMING UP IN THAT LANE AT HIGH SPEED SO I HIT THE ACCELERATOR TO GET OUT OF THE WAY, AND THE TRUCK ACCELERATED AT FULL POWER. I LIFTED MY FOOT OFF THE ACCELERATOR, BUT THE PEDAL STAYED ON THE FLOOR AND THE TRUCK KEPT ACCELERATING. I THEN SWITCHED TO THE BRAKE PEDAL, AND HAD TO USE MAXIMUM BRAKING FORCE TO KEEP THE TRUCK FROM FURTHER ACCELERATING INTO THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME. THE VEHICLE THEN DISPLAYED THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL WARNING LIGHT ON THE DASH. WHILE HARD ON THE BRAKES, I WAS ABLE TO WORK MY WAY OFF THE FEEDER ROAD AND INTO A PARKING LOT. DURING THIS WHOLE TIME THE ACCELERATOR WAS ON THE FLOOR AND THE TRUCK WAS TRYING TO OUT POWER THE BRAKES. AS I ENTERED THE PARKING LOT I PUT THE VEHICLE IN NEUTRAL USING THE TRANSMISSION SELECTOR KNOB, AND THE ACCELERATOR RETURNED TO IT'S NORMAL OPERATING POSITION AND THE WARNING LIGHT WENT AWAY. I THEN POWERED OFF THE VEHICLE ENTIRELY. A MINUTE OR SO LATER I GOT AN EMAIL FROM FCA UCONNECT THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED SERVICE AND THE ERROR THAT THE TRUCK GAVE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALERSHIP.
WHILE DRIVING, POWER STEERING UNAVAILABLE CAUTION FOLLOWED BY SERVICE SUSPENSION IMMEDIATELY. POWER STEERING IS LOST WHILE DRIVING AND INTERMITTENTLY COMES BACK OR IS LOST. I HAVE TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP TWICE AND THEY 'CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG'. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS WHILE DRIVING AT 50-70 MPH ON THE HIGHWAYS AND INTERSTATE.

VEHICLE ONLY HAS 10024 MILES AND PURCHASED BRAND NEW. A CATASTROPHIC ACCIDENT INVOLVING MY FAMILY AND OTHERS COULD HAVE OCCURRED. I HAVE LOOKED INTO THIS VIA FORUMS FOR 2019 RAM 1500 AND THERE SEEMS TO BEEN MULTIPLE ISSUES REPORTED WITH SIMILAR ISSUES. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FOLLOW UP WITH FCA TO ADDRESS POWER STEERING FAILURE ISSUES AS DEADLY CONSEQUENCES CAN HAPPEN. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT ON THIS.
THE MAIN HEAD UNIT LOST SOUND AND I HAVE DONE SOME RESEARCH AND THERE HAVE BEEN MULTIPLE PEOPLE WITH THE SAME ISSUE I HAVE RESTARTED MY TRUCK MULTIPLE TIMES WITH NO LUCK THE SOUND WAS WORKING JUST THE NIGHT BEFORE I WAS AT A STAND STILL ORIGINALLY THEN STARTED DRIVING ON A CITY ROAD. THERE HAVE BEEN MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS ON FORUMS FOR THE 2019 DOING THAT AND HOPEFULLY THEY CAN FIGURE OUT A SOLUTION TO FIX IT A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE SAID TO UNPLUG FUSES BUT I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO I SPEND THE MONEY ON A TRUCK AT ASTRONOMICAL RATE AND EXPECT IT TO WORK.
CONTACTED DEALERSHIP AT (787) 805-3000 TO VERIFY RECALL I HAD HEARD WHERE MY VEH COULD BE AFFECTED. THEY GAVE ME APPOINTMENT BUT SAID HAVE NO PARTS AVAILABLE. BUT IF IT COULD BE SERIOUS IN NATURE (REFERENCE RECALL 4) WHY ARE WE NOT EVEN TOLD, TO BE SAFE WITH OURSELVE, FAMILY AND GENERAL PUBLIC, THAT WE SHOULD NOT DRIVE UNIT. ISSUE WITH GROUND COULD AFFECTED STERRING CAPABILITIES AND MAY EVEN CAUSE AN ACCIDENT AND/OR CRASH. WHY NOT BE MORE PROACTIVE FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL PEOPLE AFFECTED AND GENERAL PUBLIC. FOR TWO DIFFERENT OCASSIONS WHILE DRIVING IN TRAFFIC, OUT OF THE BLUE, MY HAZARD LIGHTS TURN ON AND I CANT DISABLE THEM. I'VE TOLD THIS TO DEALER AND SEEMS ITS NOT A MAYOR ISSUE. EVEN HAVE SUGGECTED TO CONTINUE DRIVING WITHOUT CONCERN, REALLY! I BELIEVE IT'S IRRESPONSABLE TO HAVE THAT POSTURE AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE RAM TRUCK, EXCELLENT UNIT. BUT THIS ATTITUDE TOWARDS SOLVING ISSUES LIKE THE ONE ALREADY DESCRIBED TELLS MUCH ABOUT THEIR CONCERN OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC. DON'T KNOW IF THIS WILL MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE, BUT I HOPE SOMEONE CAN TAKE MY CONCERN MORE SERIOUSLY AND PROBABLY SAVE LIVES. THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER.
WHEN REACH SPEEDS ABOVE 60 MPH OR WIND PRESENT, THE HOOD FLEXES INWARDS. IT CREATES A CONCAVING HIGH ON THE HOOD AND COVERS AN AREA OF 12-18 INCHES. THIS CAN'T BE GOOD FOR THE HOOD OR THE PAINT.

A NOTICEABLE HIGH PITCHED SOUND OF THE BRAKE BEING WORN DOWN WAS COMING FROM THE FRONT BRAKES. NEW BRAKE PADS WERE INSTALLED INCORRECTLY OR WERE MANUFACTURED INCORRECTLY. CAUSED FRONT BRAKE PADS TO WEAR DOWN UNDER 2000 MILES. DEALERSHIP INSTALLED NEW FRONT PADS HAD AND FILED THE ROUTERS. UNCLEAR AS TO WHY THIS HAPPENED.
