The power steering (the Eps, worst system ever) has been randomly cutting in and out driving down the road and traffic making turns shutting down and making it almost impossible to drive or Park stay between lines adjust as needed and it cuts in and out it has been fixed per recall once but it still continues to do it it hasn't even been 14,000 miles since the recall was fixed and it is still cutting in and out of the dash says power steering and you can't turn the wheel.
Power steering went out. I was driving and I was on the freeway and the steering wouldn't move like it should. It became very hard to steer so I exited off the highway and pulled in to a store barely missing the sign. I call a friend and had the car towed home and looked at. I was told the eps went out. The next time I started the car it said power steering on the odometer. The dealership said the recall was closed out already. But I still have no ability to steer the car. It sits unrepaired and I undrivable.
While driving the car has issues with power steering when turning the wheel either direction the steering will lose power steering and jerk the opposite direction turning. I have almost been in numerous accidents now the worst going 75 on highway passing semi around a corner and it jerked and almost sent me right not the semi. This has happened numerous times as I was passing vehicles. Its not a steady no power steering it will do it out of the blue and anymore it's more times than not and again only when turning the wheel. It's scary. Our vin # isn't specified with the recall but has serious power steering issue. No warning lamps or anything like that. We have not had this vehicle inspected yet by a dealership. As far as the incident date it's not one specific date. It does this every day the car is driven.
It won’t start! Been having starter problems. Battery not dead, and I also was told maybe crankshaft and starter
The contact owns a 2007 Saturn Ion. The contact stated while driving at approximately 55 MPH with the accelerator pedal depressed, the accelerator pedal was released and became stuck causing the vehicle to unintendedly accelerate to 90 MPH. The brake pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to slow down. The contact manually lifted the accelerator pedal and was able to merge to the side of the road. The vehicle was driven to the local dealer but not diagnosed or repaired due to the warranty being expired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 113,000.
My 2007 Saturn Ion recently started leaking drops of gasoline near the driver side rear tire. It is either an issue with the fuel line or the tank. It has not been inspected by the dealership yet. I get a gas cap warning message, but I'm not sure if it is related.
This problem has been ongoing for a while. The key gets stuck in the ignition for a while. Have to wait until it finally clicks twice. I have taken vehicle 3 different times to have this repaired. Last for a month or two and same thing starts happening again.

Car just shuts off while driving. Iginition gets stuck. Have to push button in hole on underside of ignition for key to release. Happens all the time. Constant.

Gas smell when driving and while parked. Mechanic lifted car and saw gas on the top of gas tank, car starting to stall during initial start up.
On 10/13/14 recall for power steering assist Freeland Chevrolet performed work. 3/10/17 Shift solenoid has short circuit Freeland preformed work. 6/10/22 The key gets stuck in ignition like the above 2 times and I can't get out of my car until I sit and wait for it to finally click to get my key out. I am 70 years old and it gets very hot trapped in my car from this problem that hasn't been corrected. I contacted GMAC to no avail. I only have 56,185 miles on this car.

My gas tank is leaking a good amount of gas and is dripping all over my exhaust. Major fire risk and also my wiring has been all messed up. When my brights are on, my speakers make an unbearable screaming noise and I saw that this was an issue for many saturn ion users. There was a recall on this car for the same gas tank/pump issue years ago. Can I get this issue fixed free of charge or has the recall expired?
I will drive a short distance and my power steering goes out. Where my milage is there was a message that said pwr str.

The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
I HAVE A 2007 SATURN ION 3. BEFORE THE IGNITION RECALL MY IGNITION STOPPED WORKING (THE CAR WOULD NOT TURN OFF) AND I HAD THE IGNITION REPLACED BY GM. ONCE THE RECALL WAS ANNOUNCED, GM REIMBURSED ME FOR THE REPAIR. NOW, MY IGNITION IS NOT TURNING OFF EASILY ~5% OF THE TIME (TRYING TO PARK ON MY RELATIVELY FLAT DRIVEWAY). I NEED TO GET IT REPAIRED; IS A SECOND IGNITION COVERED BY THE RECALL?
WHEN I PUT THE CAR IN PARK THE KEY DOSENT WANT TO COME OUT THERES SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE IGNITION. AND THE RED AIR BAG DOSENT SHUT OFF FROM THE DASHBOARD IT STAYS RED.

NEITHER THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 139,000.
MY TURN SIGNAL WENT OUT BUT MY PARKING LIGHT STAYS ON. I SAW ON A SITE THAT THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM. I NEED MY RIGHT TURN SIGNAL FIXED! I HAVE CHANGED BULBS & IT STILL DOESN'T WORK, BUT THE PARKING STILL DOES WORK! WHY IS THIS! JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR OFF OF A PERSON NOT LONG AGO & IT WAS WORKING TIL YESTERDAY!

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MECHANIC REPLACED FUEL LINE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. MY CARS FUEL LINES ARE LEAKING ALL OVER THE PLACE WHILE VEHICLE IS RUNNING

MY STEERING COLUMN IS ALL MESSED UP, CAN CAUSE ME TO LOSE CONTROL OF MY CAR. ALSO YEAR OF CAR WAS RECALLED A COUPLE YEARS AGO FOR THE SAME REASON AND SADLY ENOUGH MY CAR WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THAT RECALL. MY STEERING COLUMN MESSES UP THE MOST, WHILE DRIVE AND DEFINETLY WHILE TURNING RESULTING IN A VERY BAD GRINDING NOISE OF MY STEERING WHEEL
GAS LEAKING FROM FUEL PUMP/GAS TANK. A STRONG ODOR OF GASOLINE IS PERMEATING THE CABIN. MY EYES BURN AND LIPS ARE NUMB. SECOND DAY GAS CAN BE SEEN DRIPPING OFF OF THE FUEL FILTER, THE FUEL FILTER IS COATED WITH GASOLINE. GASOLINE POURS FROM UNDERNEATH THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE ANY TIME ITS STARTED. *TR

I NEED TO KNOW WHY YOUR SYSTEM SHOWS NO RECALLS FOR MY VEHICLE USING THE VIN NUMBER, BUT HAS (7) RECALLS IF I USE YEAR/MAKE/MODEL, THE SYSTEM SHOULD ALLOW ME TO RUN THE VIN, SEE ALL RECALLS, AND EVEN REPORT WITH PROOF IF THE RECALL IS COMPLETE, LIKE A CHECK LIST. YOUR SYSTEM IS USELESS IF THE MANUFACTURER IS NOT AGREEING TO THE RECALLS UNDER THE YEAR/MAKE/MODEL AND ASSIGNING THE RECALLS TO THE VIN TO GRANT APPROVAL TO DEALERS TO REPAIR, A DEALER WILL NOT COMPLETE A GM RECALL UNLESS GM APPROVES OF THE RECALL FOR A PARTICULAR VIN. I HAVE ELECTRICAL ISSUES WITH MY VEHICLE THAT FALLS IN THE CATEGORY OF THE RECALLS, BUT I'M NOT PAYING OUT OF POCKET FOR THESE REPAIRS, WHEN THEY ARE KNOWN SAFETY ISSUES.

I SLIGHTLY WAS GOING OFF THE CURVE TO THE RIGHT I TURNED THE WHEEL TO GET STRAIGHT THE STEERING WENT OUT I LOST CONTROL I MASHED BREAKS AND NOTHING STOPPED THE CAR VEERED TO THE RIGHT CRASHING INTO A UTILITY POLE, FLIPPED AND THE FRONT DRIVER TIRE, HUB AND AXE CAME COMPLETELY OFF IT WAS NOT STRUCK BY THE POLE. I WAS ON A COUNTY ROAD I BE]BELIEVE THAT THE SUSPENSION WENT OUT AS WELL I KNOW THE STEERING DID I HAD NO CONTROL.
I INHERITED THE CAR FROM MY MOTHER THE CAR HAS A PROBLEM WITH THE FUEL SYSTEM WE HAD IT FIXED BUT THE SAME CODES ARE POPING UP

STARTED SMELLING GAS THEN NOTICED A FEW DAYS LATER THAT IT WAS LEAKING WHEN DRIVING AND PARKED
WHEN I TURN THE VEHICLE OFF, THE KEY SOMETIMES WILL NOT COME OUT OF THE IGNITION. I HAVE TO KEEP TURNING THE CAR ON AND OFF. SOMETIMES I HAVE TO MOVE THE STEERING WHEEL UP AND DOWN. IT WILL FINALLY COME OUT. I AM NOTICING IT HAPPENING MORE OFTEN THOUGH. NEED TO HAVE IT FIXED BECAUSE THIS IS MY TEEN SONS FIRST CAR. NOT SURE HE WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TO DO IF OUT ALONE WITH IT.
ELECTRICAL POWER STEERING FAILED, WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED UPON RESTART AFTER AN OIL CHANGE, THE 'USUAL' SYMPTOMS (HARD TO TURN WHEEL, ESPECIALLY AT LOW SPEEDS, ETC.) FOR PS FAILURE. AFTER TWO START/STOP CYCLES, THE FAILURE RESOLVED ITSELF MAKING ME THINK IT IS A WIRING/SENSOR ISSUE. THIS HAPPENED OVER TWO MONTHS AGO, AND THE PROBLEM HAS NOT REAPPEARED. APROX 60000 MILES AT THE TIME OF FAILURE. THERE IS LIKELY SOMETHING FAILING HERE, AND IT IS SAFETY RELATED, BUT IT IS INTERMITTANT AT THIS POINT

THIS INFORMATION SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY APPEAR WITH STATE VEHICLE INSPECTIONS.

WON'T START DON'T WANT TO TRUN OVER
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN ION. WHILE DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS OR WHEN MAKING TURNS, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME DIFFICULT TO STEER AND THE POWER STEERING WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. WHILE IN TRAFFIC, THE CONTACT POWERED OFF AND RESTARTED THE VEHICLE. AFTERWARDS, THE VEHICLE OPERATED NORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 221,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
LEAKING GAS AND STRONG GAS SMELL AFTER DRIVING
IN JANUARY 2016 WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY TO WORK I HAD BEAR TO THE RIGHT AT AN INTERSECTION FROM 1-90 TO 1-76, WHEELS/STEERING LOCKED OR SOMETHING AND I ENDED UP SPINNING OFF ROADWAY. HIT DIVISION EMBANKMENT CRASHING FRONT END AND MY AIR BAGS NEVER DEPLOYED. TRACTION IN THE CAR I LATER FOUND OUT WAS NOT ENGAGING WHEN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. NOW CAR'S TRACTION DOES NOT WORK IF IT EVER REALLY DID. I HAVE BEEN IN TOUCH WITH GM COMPLAINTS DEPARTMENT AND NOW I HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED A CASE NUMBER BUT THIS IS ABOUT RECALLS ON Y VEHICLE THAT I DO NOT KNOW THEY REALLY ARE BECAUSE SATURN WANTS ME TO PAY TO GET THIS INFORMATION. I ASKED WHY BUT DID NOT GET AN ANSWER. ONLY WAS TOLD THAT RECALLS ARE VIN SPECIFIC AND I NEEDED TO GO TO HTTPS://WWW.VINCHECKPRO.COM/VIN-REGISTER. NOW MY VEHICLE HAS A CONTROL BOARD THAT IS GOING HAYWIRE LITERALLY. GUAGES BLINKING ON AND OFF, SPEEDOMETER ACTING LIKE A WINDSHIELD WIPER, OIL LIGHT, BRAKE LIGHT, AIRBAG SYMBOL, BATTERY SYMBOL, RADIO BLINKING IN AND OUT RANDOMLY. FUEL AND TEMP GUAGES NOT MOVING AT ALL. KEY STICKS AND CAR WON'T TURN COMPLETELY OFF AT TIMES. CHIMES WONT STOP AND MORE.
I WAS STARTING MY CAR GETTING READY TO GO TO CHURCH, AND THE STEERING WHEEL WOULDN'T TURN, THEN MY POWER STEERING LIGHT CAME ON. I HAD MY GRANDDAUTHER TO CALL A MECHANIC AND THEY SAID THAT IT MIGHT BE A ELECTRICAL PROBLEM. MY CAR WAS IN A PARKING SPACE WHERE I LIVE. I DID GET THE CHANCE TO MOVE THE CAR. I CAN DRIVE THE CAR BUT I'M AFRAID THAT IT WILL LOCK ON ME WHILE DRIVING IT.
