I PURCHASED A 2007 SATURN OUTLOOK IN APRIL 2017 AS WE WERE DRIVING HOME WE NOTICED THAT THE CAR HAD A SWAYING MOVEMENT TO IT WE FIGURED IT WAS THE ROAD WE REPLACE THE TIRES AND THEN TODAY MAY 16, 2018 WE HAD THE BUSHINGS AND THE SWAY BAR LINKS REPLACED AND IT STILL SWAYS BACK-AND-FORTH IT'S VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE AND NOT ANY MECHANIC THAT I'VE TAKEN IT TO CONFIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM THE SWAY I G IS VERY DANGEROUS AND I HAVE 3 SMALL CHILDREN THAT I HAVE TO TRANSPORT AND I'M VERY SCARED THAT I'M GOING TO HAVE AN ACCIDENT PLEASE HELP ME
I JUST BUY 2007 SATURN OUTLOOK XE ON 2/4/17 , IT HAS AIR LIGHT LIGHT STAYS ON
THE PASSENGER AIRBAG TURNS OFF AND ON REGARDLESS IF A PERSON (ADULT) IS SITTING IN THE SEAT OR NOT. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR ABOUT THREE MONTHS NOW. I CONTACTED THE DEALER AND THEY SAID THAT IT WAS NOT A RECALL ITEM NOR WOULD IT BE A SAFETY ISSUE. I FEEL THAT IF I AM IN AN ACCIDENT AND THE AIR BAG DOES NOT DEPLOY THAT THE PASSENGER COULD BE IN IMMINENT HARM AT THE FAULT OF GM. THEY WILL NOT REPLACE THE SENSOR UNLESS THERE IS A RECALL. THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH SEVERAL OTHER VEHICLES AS REPORTED ON MULTIPLE ONLINE VEHICLE OWNER FORUMS. GM NEEDS TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND PROTECT THEIR CUSTOMERS FROM FAULTY EQUIPMENT.
DLR LIGHTS WENT OUT, POOR GAS MILLAGE, TRANSMISSION SHIFTS ARE NOT LIKE A REGULAR TRANSMISSION THE GEARS ARE STAYING TO LONG BEFORE SHIFTING.

JACK PHELAN CHEVROLET (LOCATED AT 4000 S HARLEM ACE, LYONS, IL 60534, 708-954-8003) INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE ABS MODULE MAY NEED REPLACING. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 125,000.
TAKATA RECALL, I HAVE AN ISSUE JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE COMPLAINING ABOUT THEIR FRONT PASSENGER SEAT AIRBAGS FAULTY SENSOR AND I CONTACTED THE DEALER TO HAVE THEM CHECKED IT AND TOLD ME TO PAY 1K TO REPLACE THE SEAT SENSOR... I BELIEVE JUST LIKE MANY PEOPLE SAID IT SUPPOSED TO BE A RECALL FOR THAT ISSUE BECAUSE IT'S RELATED TO AN SAFETY ISSUE PLEASE TAKE THIS SERIOUS SITUATION AND WE ALL HOPE TO GET A RECALL FOR OUR CARS BEFORE WE GET INJURED THANK YOU BEST REGARDS.

ALSO, THE STABILITY CONTROL INDICATOR ILLUMINATED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE'S ON STAR SYSTEM PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC ON THE AIR BAGS AND CONCLUDED THAT THE AIR BAGS NEEDED TO BE SERVICED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 93,000.
NOW THAT ITS COLD MY TRUCK WONT START. EVERY MORNING I HAVE TO JUMP START IT. I ALSO NOTICE THE HEAD LIGHTS GO OUT WELL ON ONE THAT IS. THE LEFT ONE. WHEN IN IDLE THE STABILITY TRACK LIGHT ON DASH BOARD ILLUMINATES I KNOW THIS ISN'T RIGHT I HAD THAT SERVICED ALREADY. THEN THE ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON. THE HATCH BACK WONT GO UP COMPLETELY IT WILL GO MID STREAM AND CLOSE BACK.
THE 2007 SATURN OUTLOOK INCLUDE ONGOING ELECTRICAL ISSUES (LIGHTS INTERMITTENT FUNCTIONING, STABILITRACK, TRACTION CONTROL AND ABS LIGHTS ON INTERMITTENTLY, REMOTE START DOESN'T WORK, POWER LIFT GATE OPENS ON IT'S OWN, LIFT GATE SWITCH FAILED INTERNALLY
COMPLETE LOSS OF LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN OUTLOOK. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF POWER STEERING WHILE BEING OPERATED AT 30 MPH. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS BROUGHT TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER STEERING PUMP AND STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY WERE DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 64,000.
I HAVE REPLACE MY LOW BEAM ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE A FEW TIMES IN A YEAR, THIS LAST TIME THE WIRING HAD MELTED. BECAUSE OF THIS I HAD TO PAY A HUNDRED DOLLAR TICKET FOR A LIGHT BECAUSE I COULDN'T GET IT FIXED IN 24 HOURS. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE, GM SHOULD BE MAKING THIS A MANDATORY RECALL....
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN OUTLOOK. WHEN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT WAS OCCUPIED, THE AIR BAG SENSOR INDICATED THAT THE AIR BAG WAS OFF. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE AIR BAG SENSOR FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 122,000. UPDATED 12/01/16*LJ
I WAS DRIVING MY NEW 2007 SATURN OUTLOOK, AND GOING TO PICK-UP MY CHILDREN, ON A HIGHWAY, IT WOULDN'T GO INTO 2ND GEAR. ALSO, IT WAS MAKING A CLUNKING/GRINDING NOISE. LUCKILY NO ONE WAS BEHIND ME BECAUSE I COULDN'T DRIVE THE SPEED LIMIT AS REQUIRED BY LAW. I FEEL AS IF IT PUT MY LIFE AS WELL AS MY CHILDREN'S LIFE IN DANGER. THIS ISN'T ALL, MY RPM METER WAS GOING ALL OVER THE PLACE. THEN MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, AND OF COURSE I HAD TO TAKE IT TO SEE WHAT CODES IT PULLS UP. MY CERTIFIED MECHANIC REVIEWED AND TESTED THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE WHICH IS BAD. YES, THIS COULD'VE BEEN WORSE BUT GM HAS PUT MORE THAN MYSELF IN DANGER BUT ALSO ANYONE WHO'S DRIVING THESE VEHICLES AND THEY EITHER WON'T GO OR JUST SHUT OFF.

I PURCHASED A USED 2007 SATURN OUTLOOK IN FEBRUARY OF 2016. A WEEK LATER I NOTICED MY PASSENGER HEADLIGHT OUT. THE LIGHT STARTED TO GO IN AND OUT THEN FINALLY IT STOPPED WORKING. IN APRIL I PAYED $130 TO REPLACE IT. A FEW WEEKS TO A MONTH LATER THE LIGHT WENT OUT AGAIN. I HAD A FRIEND LOOK AT IT AND THEY DISCOVERED IT WAS THE WIRING HARNESS. I LOOKED ONLINE AND FOUND OUT THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TO MANY PEOPLE. I CALLED MY LOCAL GM DEALER AND ASKED ABOUT A RECALL. I WAS TOLD IT WAS NO RECALL AND THEY DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH IT WILL COST ME. THEY SEEMED MORE CONCERNED ABOUT HOW MUCH THE MECHANIC WILL GET PAID THAN TRYING TO HELP ME. I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED
WE BOUGHT OUR 2007 SATURN OUTLOOK IN LATE JULY 2016. IN EARLY AUGUST 2016 THE "SERVICE AIR BAG" LIGHT STARTED TURNING ON AND THE PASSENGER AIR BAG WOULD TURN OFF WHEN I HAD SOMEONE IN THE FRONT SEAT, BUT LATELY IT TURNS OFF RANDOMLY AND SAYS "SERVICE AIR BAG" EVEN WHEN NO ONE IS IN THE FRONT SEAT. THIS ISSUE NEEDS TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. FAMILIES (LIKE MINE) OWN THESE VEHICLES. THIS SENSOR ISSUE SHOULD BE FIXED BY THE COMPANY WHO MADE AND SOLD THE FAULTY SENSORS IN THE PASSENGER SEATS. I CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY GM $1,000 FOR A NEW PASSENGER SEAT.
1) STEERING WENT OUT DURING A HEAVY RAIN GOING DOWN THE ROAD. LOST STEERING. VERY SCARY. HAPPENED WITH FOUR KIDS IN THE CAR GOING OVER A BRIDGE! TOOK IT TO A CAR REPAIR SHOP AND THEY DID NOT SEE A PROBLEM WHILE LOOKING AT BELT. IT HAS HAPPENED A HANDFUL OF TIMES IN VERY HEAVY RAINING WHICH I TRY TO AVOID SINCE THAT HAPPENED. 2) AIRBAG LIGHT ON. JUST WONDER IF IT IS DUE TO THE WATER THAT POURS IN THROUGH THE KNOWN DEFECTIVE SUNROOF TUBES? DURING RAINS, WATER TRICKLING THROUGH AIRBAG COMPARTMENTS AS WELL AS WATER THROUGHOUT VEHICLE. HOW COME THESE SUNROOF TUBES ARE NOT RECALLED????
AIR BAGS KEEP WARNING ON AND FORCE TO VACATE THE SEAT ON WEARING SEAT BELTS WEARING, DASH BOARD LOSE POWER AND BACK AFTER COUPLE MINUTES.STEERING MAKE NOISE ON BACKING
TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE TCM IS BAD
LIFTGATE WAS NOT STAYING UP - THERE WAS A RECALL AND I TOOK IT IN - NOW.......I HAD MINE 'FIXED' AND WHEN I WAS GETTING READY TO TRADE IN, LOW AND BEHOLD IT STARTS TO OPEN THEN CLOSES RIGHT AWAY AGAIN. THEY DIDN'T CHANGE ANY PARTS, THEY ONLY 'REPROGRAMMED' THE MOTOR PER THE PAPERWORK. I JUST CALLED THE DEALER REPAIR SERVICE AND THEY SAY, I AM RIGHT THEY DIDN'T THE STEPS ARE TO FIRST 'REPROGRAM' AND IF THAT FIXES IT THEY DON'T HAVE TO CHANGE ANYTHING OUT. NOW MY HATCH OPEN PARTLY THEN CLOSES AGAIN, WITHOUT EVEN GOING ALL THE WAY UP AND I WAS JUST TOLD, BRING IT BACK UP AND WE WILL CHECK IT AND IT IF DOES NOT LINK TO THE RECALL, THEY WILL NEED TO DO MORE TESTING. GO FIGURE'.. MY CAR WASN'T DOING THIS WHEN I TOOK IT IN, AND NOW MYSTERIOUSLY THIS HAPPENS. NOT HAPPY!!!!!!
PURCHASED 2007 SATURN IN JULY 2007. HAD ISSUE WITH BOTH HEADLIGHTS FLICKERING INTERMITTENTLY IN FALL OF 2009. ONE WOULD GO OUT AND THE OTHER WOULD STAY ON. TOOK IT FOR SERVICE ON 10/20/09 AND THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM PERSISTED INTERMITTENTLY AND TOOK IT TO GET SERVICE ON 4/8/10. THEY HAD THE CAR FOR SEVERAL DAYS AS THEY COULDN'T FIND THE FLICKERING PROBLEM. FINALLY FOUND IT AND REPLACED PASS. SIDE HEADLIGHT. TOOK IT TO ANOTHER DEALER FOR SERVICE ON 3/13/13 AS THE PASSENGER SIDE HEADLIGHT WAS GOING OFF AND BACK ON AGAIN INTERMITTENTLY. THEY REPLACED THE HEAD LAMP BALLAST. 3/24/16 I TOOK IT TO ANOTHER DEALER AS THE DRIVER HEADLIGHT WAS GOING OFF/ON INTERMITTENTLY BUT SEEMED TO WORK WHEN I WOULD CHANGE FROM AUTOMATIC TO MANUAL. THEY COULD NOT RECREATE THE PROBLEM AND SAID THE HEADLIGHT WAS OPERATIONAL. CURRENTLY, AS OF 7/25/16, THE FRONT DRIVER HEADLIGHT GOES ON AND OFF INTERMITTENTLY. I HAVE GIVEN UP TRYING TO GET IT FIXED. THERE IS CLEARLY A PROBLEM WITH THESE HEADLIGHTS.
LOSS OF POWER STEERING WHILE DRIVING THROUGH DANGEROUS TERRAIN. MULTIPLE TIMES ON ALL TYPES OF ROADWAYS. WHOLE PACKAGE IS LEAKING AND DEALER STATES THAT THE POWER STEERING RACK, PUMP AND LINES NEED REPLACEMENT ALONG WITH ALIGNMENT, VEHICLE NOW HAS 83000 MILES ON IT. COST PER THE DEALER IS AROUND $2800. MOSTLY NOTICED WHILE BRAKING AND ATTEMPTING TO TURN STEERING WHEEL. CAN REGAIN STEERING BY RELEASING BRAKE AND ACCELERATING. SPEED DOES NOT MATTER AS IT HAPPENS BOTH FROM STAND UP TO 70 MILES PER HOUR. DIRECTION DOES NOT MATTER AS IT SEIZES UP TURNING BOTH TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT. NOT SAFE FOR TRAVEL ESPECIALLY WITH OCCUPANTS.
ROOF LEAKS AND PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW AND DOOR LOCKS DO NOT WORK
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN OUTLOOK. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE FRONT LOW BEAM DRIVER SIDE HEADLAMP DIMMED. THE CONTACT HAD TO TURN THE SWITCH TO MANUAL IN ORDER TO GET THE HEADLIGHT TO ILLUMINATE AGAIN. THE FAILURE RECURRED SEVERAL TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 140,000.
EXTERNAL TEMPERATURE SENSOR IS GIVING INACCURATE TEMPERATURE READINGS. TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN 08-01-39-008A DESCRIBES THE ISSUE WITH MY VEHICLE PERFECTLY. THIS SAME TSB LISTS MY VEHICLE AS AFFECTED BY THIS PROBLEM. I CONTACTED TWO DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENTS AND GM CORPORATE TWICE ABOUT THIS ISSUE. THEY WILL NOT PERFORM THE WORK BECAUSE THEIR VIN SEARCH DOES NOT YIELD THE TSB AS APPLICABLE MY VEHICLE. ON ONE OCCASION I WAS ABLE TO CONVINCE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE TO LOOK UP THE TSB AND THEY CONFIRMED MY VEHICLE'S MAKE/MODEL LISTED ON THE TSB. I HAVE A SERIOUS CONCERN ABOUT ICE/INCLEMENT WEATHER NOT BEING REPORTED AS IT SHOULD. WHEN DRIVING THROUGH SOME OF THE MOUNTAINOUS REGIONS HERE, THE TEMPERATURE CAN DROP QUICKLY WITHOUT OCCUPANTS BEING AWARE. PROBLEM OCCURS INTERMITTENTLY BOTH SOMETIMES WHILE DRIVING AND SOMETIMES AFTER STARTING. THERE IS NO OBSERVED DIFFERENCE BASED ON PARKING LOCATION (IN THE SHADE, GARAGED, OUTSIDE IN THE SUN, ETC...) THE PROBLEM SOMETIMES CORRECTS ITSELF AFTER VEHICLE HAS BEEN TURNED OFF. THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN OBSERVED AT LEAST A DOZEN TIMES.
WHILE DRIVING AT 30 MPH DAAH BOARD LIT UP - ENGINE POWER REDUCED - TRACTION CONTROL GO OFF AND STABILTRAK SAYS IT'S OFF. I LOST ALL POWER IN CAR WHILE DRIVING INCLUDING STEERING WITH KIDS IN THE CAR, AND INCOMING TRAFFIC. CAR WOULD NOT RESTART IMMEDIATELY, IT TOOK 10 MIN. FOR IT TO START BACK UP AND DASH LIT UP STATING "STARTING DISABLED, SERVICE THROTTLE". TAKING TO SERVICE REPAIR - SAW SERVICE.BULLETIN FOR OTHER MODELS WITH SAME ISSUES.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN OUTLOOK. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SEAL ON THE SUN ROOF FRACTURED AND CAUSED WATER TO DRAIN INTO THE VEHICLE. AS A RESULT, THE BATTERY, FUSE BOX, AND CARPET WERE DAMAGED. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SIERRA MOTORS (18475 5TH AVENUE, JAMESTOWN, CA 95327) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE DRAIN PLUG WAS CLOGGED. THE DEALER KEPT THE VEHICLE FOR OBSERVATION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 105,000. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED.
WHILE DRIVING IN THE RAIN ALL OF A SUDDEN MY POWER STEERING WENT OUT AND I WAS FORCED TO MANHANDLE MY VEHICLE OFF THE ROAD AND INTO A PARKING LOT. WITHIN A FEW MINUTES THE STEERING CAME BACK AND I WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE HOME. ALONG THE WAY THIS HAPPENED TWICE MORE. NOW THE PROBLEM LIGHTS FOR STABILITRAK SERVICE AND TRACTION OFF ARE BOTH ON.
SERVICE AIRBAG WARNING IS LIT. SATURN SAYS NO AVAILABLE RECALLS FOR MY VEHICLE. RECALL 07043 WAS PERFORMED. I CANNOT AFFORD TO COMPLETE SERVICE.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 99,000.

THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V415000 (STRUCTURE) AND STATED THAT THE PART NEEDED FOR THE REPAIR WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 79,000. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
ANOTHER CASE OF GM VEHICLE WHERE 'SERVICE AIR BAG' MESSAGE APPEARED AND PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG WILL NOT GO BACK ON. DEALER DIAGNOSED IT AS NEED TO REPLACE PASSENGER PRESENCE SEAT ASSEMBLY BECAUSE IT HAS FAILED
PLEASE ISSUE RECALL FOR THE WAVE PLATE. I WAS ALMOST REAR ENDED TODAY BECAUSE MY VEHICLE WOULD NOT GET UP TO SPEED. THIS IS GOING TO CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER GM VEHICLE. WAVE PLATE IS KNOWN TO BE FAULTY IN SATURN OUTLOOK, CHEVY TRAVERSE, AND GMC ACADIA. THIS CAUSES TRANSMISSION NOT TO SHIFT PROPERLY AND REV AT 4K RPMS. TRANSMISSION SOLONOID 1 GETS STUCK OPEN PER CODE PLEASE INFORM WHEN RECALL IS ISSUED. THIS HAPPENS PERIODICALLY WHETHER STOPPED OR IN MOTION. THIS HAS HAPPENED 20+ TIMES SINCE SEPTEMBER 2015.
FOR A COUPLE WEEKS I'VE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS OPENING MY TRUNK HATCH, I TRIED AGAIN TODAY AND IT DIDN'T OPEN. I THEN BENT DOWN TO PICK UP MY BAGS WHEN THE HATCH OPENED ON ITS OWN AND HIT ME IN THE HEAD PRETTY HARD. IT'S VERY FRUSTRATING NOT BEING ABLE TO OPEN MY TRUNK WHEN I HAVE GROCERIES IN IT. I DIDN'T GO TO THE DOCTOR OR THE ER BECAUSE I WORK IN THE MEDICAL FIELD AND CAN RECOGNIZE THE SIGNS OF A CONCUSSION.
FOR A COUPLE WEEKS I'VE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS OPENING MY TRUNK HATCH, I TRIED AGAIN TODAY AND IT DIDN'T OPEN. I THEN BENT DOWN TO PICK UP MY BAGS WHEN THE HATCH OPENED ON ITS OWN AND HIT ME IN THE HEAD PRETTY HARD. IT'S VERY FRUSTRATING NOT BEING ABLE TO OPEN MY TRUNK WHEN I HAVE GROCERIES IN IT. I DIDN'T GO TO THE DOCTOR OR THE ER BECAUSE I WORK IN THE MEDICAL FIELD AND CAN RECOGNIZE THE SIGNS OF A CONCUSSION.
TRANSMISSION TOOK A WHILE TO ENGAGE INTO 2ND GEAR. WHEN IN FIRST GEAR, YOU CAN HEAR THE TRANSMISSION MAKING A DISTINCT SOUND. SOUNDS LIKE A WHINNY NOISE, AS IT WAS STRUGGLING TO GET INTO 2ND GEAR. I NOTICED THIS SOUND WHEN STOPPED AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT AND THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN. AS I BEGAN TO ACCELERATE, I NOTICED THE VEHICLE WAS HAVING A TOUGH TIME GETTING OUT OF 1ST GEAR. THIS IS THE SECOND ISSUE WITH THE TRANSMISSION IN 22 MONTHS. BACK IN NOVEMBER OF 2013, I HAD THE WAV PLATE REPLACED AT A COST OF $2,600.00. THE DEALERSHIP NOW IS TELLING ME I NEED A WHOLE NEW TRANSMISSION AT A COST OF $4,000.00. GM DID REIMBURSE ME FOR MY FIRST TRANSMISSION ISSUE, BUT WITHOUT A REIMBURSEMENT, I WOULD BE LOOKING AT SPENDING NEARLY $6,600.00 OVER THE COURSE OF 22 MONTHS FOR TRANSMISSION-RELATED ISSUES. NO REASONABLE PERSON WOULD EXPECT TO PAY THAT MUCH MONEY IN SUCH SHORT OF A TIME PERIOD FOR (2) SEPARATE, TRANSMISSION RELATED ISSUES.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO A DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WAS AN ELECTRICAL FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,760.

THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE TRANS CONTROL MODULE WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 119,000.
ON TWO OCCASIONS MY CAR STOPPED DRIVING WHILE GOING AROUND 40 TO 55 MPH. I WAS DRIVING SOMETIME THE END OF JULY 2015 WHEN THE CAR STOPPED WITHOUT WARNING WHILE GOING ABOUT 45 MPH. THE DASH LIGHTS WERE ON BUT ALL PANELS WERE ON 0. IT MADE A COUPLE OF THRUSTS THEN STOPPED. AFTER A MINUTE I PUT MY FOOT ON THE GAS AND THE CAR RESUMED DRIVING. ON AUGUST 8TH WHILE MY HUSBAND WAS DRIVING IT GOING ABOUT 55 MPH THE CAR STOPPED AGAIN WITH NO WARNING BUT FINALLY A WARNING CAME ON INDICATING A PROBLEM WITH THE STABILITRAK AND THEN HE WAS ABLE TO PRESS THE GAS AND THE CAR STARTED MOVING AGAIN. WE WILL BE MAKING AN APPOINTMENT WITH DEALERSHIP SERVICE CENTER TO FIND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS BUT FROM MY RESEARCH THIS SEEMS TO BE A RECURRING PROBLEM. THANKFULLY NO ONE WAS BEHIND US BOTH TIMES OR SOMEONE COULD OF BEEN SERIOUSLY HURT. PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS PROBLEM BEFORE SOMEONE DOES DIE.

I WAS DRIVING ALONG AND MY DASHBOARD WENT DARK, YOU COULDN'T READ THE MILEAGE, OR ANY DATA THAT SHOULD SHOW UP IN THAT WINDOW, THE BATTERY LEVEL SHOWED LOWER THEN NORMAL HOWEVER STOPPED TO HAVE BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR CHECKED AND BOTH WERE WORKING NORMALLY PER MECHANIC. WHEN STOPPED CAR AND TURNED BACK ON DATA WAS VIEWABLE, THEN AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON - STAYED ON FOR ABOUT AN 30 MIN. THEN WENT BACK OFF. THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH ROOF LEAKING - DEALERSHIP HAD TO REPAIR AND NOW I THINK THIS IS LINKED TO THAT ISSUE. HOWEVER, NOT SURE IF OTHERS ARE HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE AND DON'T FEEL I SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR SOMETHING THAT THE DEALER SHOULD HAVE CHECKED OUT PRIOR TO CORRECTING LEAKING. HAVE THERE BEEN ANY OTHER OWNERS WITH ISSUES REGARDING THIS?
AT APPROXIMATELY 100,000 MILES THE SERVICE AIR BAG LIGHT STARTED TO ILLUMINATE ON THE DASHBOARD. FURTHERMORE, THE PASSENGER AIRBAG IS ALWAYS SWITCHED OFF REGARDLESS IF THERE IS SOMEONE IN THE PASSENGER SEAT OR NOT. BROUGHT TO DEALER IN JUNE 2015 WITH MILEAGE OF 101,806. IT IS GIVING CODE B0081-OF STATING THERE IS AN INTERNAL FAULT IN PASSENGER PRESENCE SENSOR. APPROXIMATE COST TO FIX WAS AROUND ~$1000. DECLINED FIXING IT AT THIS TIME AS I HAD ALREADY SPENT $2500 IN OTHER REPAIRS. THIS IS OBVIOUSLY AN ONGOING ISSUE WITH MANY OF THESE CARS AND IS A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN....NOT JUST WEAR AND TEAR. PLEASE LOOK INTO THESE AIRBAG CONCERNS.

ACCELERATED TO GET ON INTERSTATE 41 TO 65 MPH. HEARD A UNUSUAL NOISE. LOST ALL POWER STEERING (PS) , HAD TO USE MANUAL/HARD TO STEER CONTROL. NO WARNING LIGHT CAME ON, NO IDEA OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING. DROVE CAR HOME AT A REDUCED SPEED. CAR MAKER NOTIFIED ME IN SEPTEMBER 2014 THEY HAD A "CAMPAIGN" TO REPLACE PUMPS IF FAILED BEFORE 150,000 MI. I HAD HEARD A PS WHINE NOISE AND HAD TAKEN THE OUTLOOK TO THE DEALER IN FEBRUARY2015, BEFORE THE 150,000 MI AND THEY SAID IF IT FAILED THEY WOULD HONOR THE CAMPAIGN. THEY WOULD NOT LOOK AT THE PS FLUID OR LISTEN TO THE NOISE.
SEAT SENSOR KEEPS GOING ON AND OFF WITH OR WITHOUT SOMEONE IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. I HAVE TRIED CALLING DEALERS, SATURN-GM BUT HAVE GOTTEN NO HELP WITH THE RESOLUTION OF THIS DEFECT. THEY SAY THAT IT IS A DEFECTIVE SENSOR BUT ACCORDING TO A LOT OF FORUMS THIS IS A WELL KNOWN ISSUE AND THIS SHOULD BE A SAFETY DEFECT NOT JUST A RECALL. THIS TECHNICALLY COULD HURT OR KILL SOMEONE IN AN ACCIDENT AND THEY HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THIS. IF SOMETHING HAPPENS WHILE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE I WILL TAKE THIS AS HIGH AS I CAN TAKE IT. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR AT LEAST 6 MONTHS.

ON A SEPARATE OCCASION, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED INDEPENDENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE FAILURE COULD POSSIBLY BE RELATED TO THE THROTTLE BODY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 187,880.
