THIS CAR IS A LEMON. WE BOUGHT THE CAR USED FROM A GM DEALERSHIP IN SEPT 2012. IN RETROSPECT, IT WAS A SIGN FROM ABOVE INDICATING IT WAS A LEMON HOWEVER WE HELD OUT FAITH. THE FIRST PROBLEM, NOT EVEN 2 WEEKS AFTER BUYING THE CAR, THE WATER PUMP BLEW. THE THERMOSTAT THEN BROKE ONLY A FEW MONTHS LATER. ANOTHER REPAIR. THEN THE MONSTER CAME --- TIMING CHAIN! THE TIMING CHAIN BROKE! JUST AWFUL! THANKFULLY, WE DISCOVERED A 120,000 WARRANTY THING THAT INCLUDED THE TIMING CHAIN, OTHERWISE THIS POS WOULD'VE BEEN DUMPED OFF AT THE NEAREST JUNKYARD. SO, THAT WAS ALL FINE AND DANDY UNTIL SEVERAL MONTHS LATER THE BRAKES WOULDN'T HAVE PRESSURE BEHIND THE PEDAL. WE HAD TO REPLACE LINES, PADS, ROTORS, THE WHOLE KIT AND CABOODLE SINCE THAT WAS ALL BROKEN. OKAY, SO WE FIXED THAT. UGH. WE STARTED TALKING ABOUT REPLACING THE VEHICLE, BUT SOON DISCOVERED WE WOULD OWE MORE ON VEHICLE THAN WHAT IT IS WORTH. EVERYTHING WAS FINE AND CALM AND PEACEFUL FOR QUITE SOME TIME. THEN THE ONE TIME WE GO TO USE THE LIFT GATE TO UNLOAD SOME BOXES, SURE ENOUGH -- THE LIFT GATE WOULDN'T OPEN!! THE STUPID SWITCH WENT OUT ON THAT! WHAT?!!! THEY HAD TO TAKE THE WHOLE FLIPPING DOOR OFF THE CAR IN ORDER TO GET TO THE STUPID SWITCH! IT WAS LOCKED SHUT. IT WASN'T A TRAGICALLY EXPENSIVE REPAIR, SO WE PAID IT, MOVED ON. NOW, THIS IS THE THING THAT HAS REALLY IRKED ME. NOTICED WHILE DRIVING THE CAR'S TRANSMISSION JERKS AT 20-30 MPH, AND IN REVERSE. SO WE CALLED UP THE DEALERSHIP, EXPLAINED WHAT IT WAS, THEY TEST DROVE IT, SAID "OOOHHHH, IT'S PROBABLY THE WAVE PLATE INSIDE THE TRANSMISSION." -- YOU'LL NEED TO PURCHASE A REMANUFACTURED TRANSMISSION FROM GM, OR YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE IT REBUILT, BUT THEY'RE ABOUT THE SAME PRICE (ABOUT $500 DIFFERENCE). I WAS SUCKER PUNCHED. YOU WIN AGAIN GM! YOU'RE CHEAPLY MADE CRAP AND NOW MY WALLET IS HEMORRHAGING AGAIN! I WILL NEVER BUY GM AGAIN! EVER! PIECE OF CRAP VEHICLES! *TR
LEAKS IN SUNROOF, WATER COMING OUT OF AIRBAG AREA. MASTER CYLINDER FOR BRAKES WENT OUT. *TR
WHILE DRIVING WITH MY 3 CHILDREN IN THE VEHICLE WITH ME, I STOPPED AT A STOPLIGHT. UPON THE LIGHT TURNING GREEN I FOUND MY VEHICLE SEEMED TO LACK THE POWER TO GO AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. I INCHED MY WAY THROUGH THE INTERSECTION AND OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY. THANKFULLY, NO ONE COLLIDED WITH MY VEHICLE DURING THIS LONG SCARY PROCESS. ONSTAR INFORMED ME OF CODES RELATING TO THE TRANSMISSION. ONCE I GOT THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP, I WAS INFORMED THIS WAS VERY COMMON FOR THIS VEHICLE. IT TURNED OUT TO BE THE WAVE PLATE HAD BUSTED CAUSING MULTIPLE OTHER TRANSMISSION DAMAGES. EVEN THOUGH MY VEHICLE WAS UNDER THE 100,000 MILE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY PROVIDED BY GM, I WAS OVER BY A FEW MONTHS TIME WISE. NOW IT IS JUNE 2013 AND I AM AT JUST A FEW MILES UNDER THE 12,000 MILE WARRANTY ON THE REPAIR WORK DONE LAST OCTOBER AND I ENCOUNTERED A VERY SIMILAR INCIDENT. I INCHED MY WAY DOWN THE REST OF THE VERY WINDY AND DANGEROUS HIGHWAY TO MY HOME AS IT WAS SATURDAY AND THE DEALERSHIP HAD CLOSED 20 MINUTES EARLIER. ONSTAR AGAIN GAVE ME THE SAME DIAGNOSTIC CODES AS BEFORE TOO. ON MONDAY, I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE MANAGER WHO SENT A TOW TRUCK TO PICK MY OUTLOOK UP. AFTER NOT HEARING FROM THEM, I CALLED THIS AFTERNOON (TUESDAY) TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON. I WAS INFORMED THIS TIME IT WAS DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE TRANSMISSION AND THEY WOULD NOT BE COVERING THE REPAIRS. SHE ALSO STATED THERE WOULD BE A CHARGE FOR THE TOWING! THESE ARE ALL ISSUES COMMON TO ALL OUTLOOK, ACADIA, AND TRAVERSE OWNERS. I AM VERY THANKFUL NEITHER MY FAMILY NOR ANYONE ELSE WAS HURT DURING THESE INCIDENTS, BUT IS THAT WHAT IT IS GOING TO TAKE FOR GM TO BE FORCED TO RECALL THESE TRANSMISSIONS? *TR
DRIVER SIDE HEADLIGHT KEEPS GOING OUT ..BUT THE BULB ISN'T BURNT OUT ,IF I PULL IT OUT AND PUT IT BACK IN IT WORKS FINE FOR A FEW DAYS THEN GOES OUT AGAIN. *TR
VEHICLE CAME OUT OF GEAR AND STOPPED MOVING. COULD NOT PUT IT IN FORWARD OR REVERSE. GM MECHANIC DIAGNOSED IT AS A BAD WAVE PLATE, ALLEGEDLY BY ONLY LOOKING AT THE DRAINED TRANSMISSION FLUID WHICH CONTAINED SUBSTANTIAL FILINGS. RESEARCH ONLINE HAS REVEALED COUNTLESS COMPLAINTS THAT ARE SIMILAR, SOME HARROWINGLY MORE DANGEROUS, HAVING TO DO WITH SUDDEN UP OR DOWN SHIFTING AND REVVING AT SPEED. GM HAS ISSUED TSB 09-07-30-012A WHICH STATES THAT THE WAVE PLATE IS TO BE REPLACED WHEN ANY TRANSMISSION WORK IS DONE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN OUTLOOK. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AS HE ATTEMPTED TO MERGE INTO TRAFFIC DRIVING 15 MPH THE TRANSMISSION FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSE THAT THE 3-5-R GEAR WAVE PLATE MALFUNCTIONED WHICH KEPT THE VEHICLE FROM ACCELERATING. AS A RESULT, THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 61,000.
THIS VEHICLE HAS A PROBLEM WITH LEAKING WATER WHEN IT RAINS! WATER WILL LEAK FROM THE SUNROOF AND POOL IN THE PASSENGER FRONT SEAT FOOT WELL. IT WILL FILL THE GLOVE BOX AND THE FOOT WELL. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR THE PROBLEM EVERY YEAR SINCE IT HAS BEEN OWNED BY US. WE RECENTLY WERE OUT OF TOWN AND HAD TO LET THE VEHICLE SIT OUTSIDE WHILE WE WERE AWAY. WHEN WE ARRIVED BACK FROM OUR TRIP THE VEHICLE WAS FILLED WITH WATER IN THE FOOTWELL OF THE PASSENGER SIDE. ALL OF THE WINDOWS WERE STEAMED UP, AND THE TEMPERATURE OUTSIDE WAS AROUND 95 DEGREES, SINCE THEN IT HAS CONTINUED TO RAIN AND I HAVE HAD TO SHOP VAC OUT THE STANDING WATER. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THE MOLD THAT HAS BEGUN TO GROW IN THE CAR. THE GLOVE BOX HAS FILLED WITH WATER AND RUINED EVERYTHING IN IT. THERE HAVE BEEN MULTIPLE WARNING LIGHTS THAT HAVE COME ON SINCE SUCH AS "CHECK AIRBAGS" WHICH I HAVE PERSONALLY SEEN WATER LEAK FROM. THIS IS NO LONGER A SAFE VEHICLE FOR ME, MY WIFE , OR MY THREE YOUNG CHILDREN. I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO REACH ANYONE OTHER THAN THE DEALER TO EXPRESS MY CONCERN. I LOVE THE VEHICLE BUT MY FAMILY'S HEALTH IS PRIORITY. *TR
LEAKING FRONT SUNROOF OF SATURN OUTLOOK XE 2007. THIS HAS AFFECTED THE WIRING WITHIN THE VEHICLE AND CAUSING OTHER ISSUES AS WELL AS THE WATER CONTINUES TO COME INTO THE VEHICLE. MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS TO FIX THE PROBLEM HAVE NOT SOLVED IT. *TR
DURING A RAIN, WATER STARTED POURING OUT OF THE AIRBAG AND SEATBELT COVERS ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. WATER WAS LEAKING OUT OF HEADLINER BETWEEN WINDSHIELD AND DOOR. IT IS DRIPPING ALL THE WAY DOWN THE SIDE NEAR THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT ONTO THE FLOOR. I AM CONCERNED THAT OTHERS HAVE HAD THIS SAME ISSUE WITH NO RESOLUTION. I AM AFRAID THAT IT WILL DAMAGE THE ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS AND MAKE THE AIRBAGS AND SEATBELTS FAIL. PLEASE HELP GET THIS RECALLED!!!!!! *TR
OUR TRANSMISSION WENT OUT ON 20 JULY 2012. IT WAS UNDER A 5YR/ 100,000 MILES WARRANTY. IT HAD 87000 MILES AT THAT TIME. IT WAS 2 MONTHS PAST THE 5 YR PART OF THE WARRANTY. GM WAS NO HELP IN THE REPAIR BECAUSE OF THIS. THEY KNOW THIS TRANSMISSION IS A KNOWN PROBLEM YET REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE IT. I FEEL IT SHOULD BE RECALLED. *TR
MY 18 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WAS RETURNING HOME WHEN SHE NOTICED THE STEERING BECAME VERY HARD TO USE. SHE MADE IT HOME SAFELY. I TOOK THE CAR OUT TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON AND WHEN I BACKED UP THE DRIVEWAY I COULDN'T TURN THE WHEEL WITHOUT GREAT EFFORT. AND IT GOT WORSE, IT JUST LOCKED UP. I WAS ADVISED THAT IT NEEDED POWER STEERING FLUID OR A NEW POWER STEERING PUMP. I DROVE IT TO NEAREST MECHANIC, STEERING LOCKED UP ON TURNS, HAD TO PULL OVER SEVERAL TIMES, AND TURN THE CAR OFF. THE MECHANIC IS WITHIN 3 MILES, NEAREST GM DEALER IS 40 MINUTES AWAY. HE REPLACED PUMP AND FLUID, CLEANED IT AS RECOMMENDED. HE TOOK IT FOR A TEST DRIVE AND THE STEERING FAILED AGAIN, ALMOST CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. HE WAS VERY UPSET. I AM CONTACTING GM. THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN DOCUMENTED BY OTHER 2007 SATURN OUTLOOK OWNERS ON THIS SITE. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS ISSUE AND I CAN'T BELIEVE IT HAS NOT BEEN ADDRESSED. DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO DIE BEFORE IT IS? SUNROOF LEAKING WATER INTO THE PASSAGE COMPARTMENT AND DOWN THE FRONT FIREWALL AND GLOVE BOX COMPARTMENT. WATER ENTERED INTO THE COVER THAT HIDES THE FRONT A/C BLOWER MOTOR. MOTOR IS SITTING IN 1-2 INCHES OF WATER. MOTOR STARTING TO CORRODE AND STOPPED WORKING. LUCKY THERE WASN'T A FIRE. FOUND UTUBE VIDEO DESCRIBING HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. REMOVED COVER TO BLOWER AND FREED UP BLOWER MOTOR CORROSION. ORDERED A REPLACEMENT BLOWER MOTOR. DRILLED 2 HOLES IN THIS COVER TO ALLOW FUTURE WATER COLLECTION A DRAINAGE ROUTE OUT OF THIS COVER. AFTER A STRONG RAIN STORM THAT LASTED MOST OF THE NIGHT WOK UP TO FIND OUT THAT THE AC BLOWER WILL NOT WORK IN THE FRONT OF THE CAR ONLY THE BACK BLOWER FOR REAR PASSENGERS WORKED. WITH THE BLOWER BEING OUT THERE IS NO DEFROST FOR THE FRONT WINDSHIELD AS WELL. WENT ONLINE AND FOUND ON THE SATURN FORUM A YOUTUBE VIDEO ON WATER DAMAGE 2009-11-13 TSB 07-08-57-002F THE VIDEO CLEARLY SHOWS HOW TO REMOVE THE BLOWER MOTOR AND CHECK FOR WATER DAMAGE, TOOK MY BLOWER MOTOR OUT AND FOUND THE MOTOR LOCKED UP WITH ONE OF THE MOTOR SCREWS SHOWING OXIDATION FROM WATER AND ELECTRICITY CONTACT AND THE COVER WHERE THE BLOW MOTOR SITS HAS A PAD THAT HAS WATER MARKS. *TR
WHILE TRAVELING HOME FROM A VACATION, MADE A BRIEF STOP, ONCE THE CAR REACHED 35 MPH THE TRANSMISSION SLIPPED AND WE LOST ALL ABILITY TO ACCELERATE. ENGINE RPMS WOULD INCREASE WITH NO ACCELERATION, ENGINE TEMPERATURE SPIKED. COASTED TO A STOP ON SIDE OF ROAD AND CHECKED FLUID LEVELS.AFTER RESTARTING, HAD LOST 3RD, 5TH AND REVERSE. DROVE CAR 10 MILES IN 2ND GEAR TO ONLY REPAIR SHOP IN 50 MILE RADIUS. MECHANIC HOPED FOR BAD SOLENOID BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE ENTIRE TRANSMISSION WAS DAMAGED. 3 MONTHS OUT OF WARRANTY, GM WILL NOT ASSIST FINANCIALLY. NEW GM TRANSMISSION REPLACED IN VEHICLE $3200 LATER. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN OUTLOOK. THE CONTACT STARTED THE IGNITION AND THE FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED CONTINUOUSLY ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE FAILURE RECURRED SPORADICALLY WITH THE PASSENGER SEAT OCCUPIED OR WHEN THE SEAT WAS UNOCCUPIED. IN JULY 2012, THE FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAG SENSOR WAS REPLACED AT THE OWNER'S EXPENSE. THE FAILURE RECURRED AFTER THE REPAIR WAS PERFORMED AND THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED FOR THE SECOND OCCURRENCE. THERE WAS A RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH THE FAILURE UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN IN NUMBER 07V062000 (AIRBAGS:FRONTAL:SENSOR/CONTROL MODULE) HOWEVER, THE CONTACT'S VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE MALFUNCTION. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000. UPDATED 10/17/12*LJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE WARNING LIGHTS DID NOT DISPLAY CONTINUOSLY. IT ONLY FLASHED ONCE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. SINCE THAT TIME THE AIR BAG LIGHTS, FOR THE PASSENGER SEAT, GOES ON REPEATEDLY. UPDATED 10/19/2012 *JS

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE DRAIN WAS CLOGGED AND NEEDED TO BE FIXED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 151,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN OUTLOOK. THE CONTACT STATED THAT UPON STARTING THE IGNITION, THE PASSENGER'S SIDE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER, WHO STATED THAT THE AIR BAG SENSOR WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 07V062000 ( AIR BAGS) HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
WHILE DRIVING IN A MODERATE RAIN STORM TODAY, 6.1.12, AT 35 MPH, THE STEERING ON MY VEHICLE LOCKED UP AND FROZE AFTER DRIVING THROUGH A PUDDLE. THIS HAS OCCURRED SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST FEW YEARS, BUT I DO NOT RECALL THE EXACT DATES SO I WILL REPORT TODAY'S DATE ONLY. THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD EVENTUALLY FREE AND RETURN TO NORMAL OPERATION AFTER ABOUT 10 SECONDS. ALSO, THERE IS A LOUD WHINING NOISE FROM THE STEERING BLOCK AND UNDER THE HOOD WHEN THIS OCCURS. THE NOISES SOUNDS LIKE THE POWER STEERING BELTS ARE SLIPPING DUE TO BEING SOAKED WITH WATER. THIS IS MY WIFE'S VEHICLE, WE HAVE TWO KIDS. THIS VEHICLE IS DRIVEN IN THE STATE OF FL WITH HEAVY, AND FREQUENT STORMS. THIS IS VERY TROUBLESOME AND SCARY AND I AM CONCERNED THIS LOSS OF STEERING WILL LEAD TO A CRASH. *TR
AS TAKING AN EXIT RAMP, THE TRACTION CONTROL TURNS OFF, THE DRIVER INSTRUMENT PANEL GIVES A BRAKE WARNING. WE TOOK TO THE MECHANIC WHO ADVISED THAT THE BRAKE FLUID WAS LOW. BRAKE FLUID WAS REFILLED, PROBLEM REPEATS ITSELF EVERY 3 MONTHS, APPEARS TO BE LEAKING FROM THE MASTER CYLINDER. *TR
ISSUE BEGAN AS A JERKY MOVEMENT IN REVERSE. A FEW DAYS LATER, HIGH ENGINE RPMS WERE NOTICED DURING ACCELERATION WHICH EVENTUALLY LED TO THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT BEING LIT AND THE TRANSMISSION BEING DISENGAGED. NO GEARS WERE OPERATING AND CAR WAS ABLE TO BE PULLED OFF THE MAIN ROADS WITH NO INCIDENTS. MANY ONLINE FORUMS DESCRIBE A SIMILAR ISSUE WITH THE GMC ACADIA, CHEVROLET TRAVERSE, AND BUICK ENCLAVE AS WELL AND ACROSS SEVERAL MODEL YEARS FOR EACH VEHICLE. IN MAY, THE VEHICLE BEGAN SHUTTERING AND LOST ALL POWER. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THAT THE WAVE PLATE HAD BROKEN. IN DECEMBER 2012, THE TRANSMISSION DISPLAYED AN OVERHEATING WARNING, BUT DEALERSHIP SAID NO PROBLEMS NOTED (APPROX 110000 MILES) THEN IN JAN 2013 (113000) MILES THE TRANSMISSION WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF 2ND GEAR. DEALERSHIP SAID THAT IT WAS NOW A BROKEN PRESSURE SWITCH AND NOT COVERED UNDER THE PREVIOUS REPAIR WARRANTY. *TR

DEALER STATES THAT A WATER LEAK BEGINNING AT THE SUNROOF LEAKS WATER ONTO THE FUSE AREA IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT CAUSING FAILURES REQUIRING A FUSE BOX REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLE HAS HAD LEAKS LEAVING WATER ON THE HEADLINER, FRONT SEATS, FRONT DRIVER AND FRONT PASSENGER FLOORS IN THE PAST ALL REPAIRED BY THE DEALER UNDER WARRANTY. AT THE TRANSMISSION SPECIALTY SHOP, SCAN CODE 0989 TRANSMISSION FLUID PRESSURE SWITCH, SHIFT SOLENOIDS STUCK ON. ADVISED WE NEED A NEW TRANNY, AS HE ALSO FOUND METAL PARTICLES IN TRANSMISSION FLUID. A "WATER MASTER" REPLACED THE SEAL AND GLASS ON THE SUNROOF .THE CAR WAS RETURNED ON 3/6/12. THEN WE NOTICED THE INSIDE LIGHTS WERE NOT WORKING ALONG WITH THE RADIO WOULD NOT TURN OFF AND THE OUTSIDE TEMP REG. @ 82 DEGREES WHEN IN FACT IS WAS 42 DEGREES OUT ALONG WITH CONDENSATION ON 4/3.GM PUT OUT BULLETINS MAKING THE PUBLIC AWARE OF THE POTENTIAL ISSUES DUE TO INADEQUATE DRAIN TUBES TO PREVENT THE PROBLEMS ABOVE FROM HAPPENING. THE REPAIRS HAVE FAILED. APPARENTLY, THERE IS A SEVERAL DESIGN FLAWS IN THESE VEHICLES.THERE COULD BE POTENTIAL DISASTROUS OUTCOME FROM THE PERSISTENT WATER LEAKS WE ARE EXPERIENCING DESPITE REPAIRS DONE PER SERVICE BULLETINS. THE LIGHTS WILL START WORKING AGAIN (AT LEAST TEMPORARILY) WHEN I SWITCH FROM THE "AUTO" LIGHT SETTING TO "MANUAL" AND BACK AGAIN. I HAVE READ ON SEVERAL DIFFERENT WEBSITES THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE CAUSE BEING THE WIRING HARNESS FOR THE LIGHTS. THIS APPEARS TO BE A DEFECT IN THE PARTS/MATERIALS USED AND SHOULD HAVE A RECALL ON IT. I CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY WHAT THE DEALERSHIP IS ASKING TO REPAIR IT, SO FOR NOW I CAN'T DO ANY NIGHT TIME DRIVING WITHOUT GETTING A TRAFFIC CITATION/TICKET. *TR
THE LOW BEAM ON THE DRIVERS SIDE QUITE WORKING, WE REPLACED BULB AND NOW NEITHER LOW BEAM WILL WORK. WE HAVE BEEN TOLD IT IS THE WIRING HARNESS. *TR
DRIVERS SIDE LOW BEAM WENT OUT. KNOWN PROBLEM. ITS ALL OVER THE FORUMS. MANY CASES OF THE SAME ISSUE. SUPPOSEDLY IT IS THE WIRING HARNESS GOING TO THE HEADLAMP. THERE HAS BEEN CASES OF IT MELTING WHICH COULD CAUSE FIRE. SATURN/GM DOESN'T CARE. CONTACTED NUMEROUS DEALERS AND EVERY ONE OF THEM IS TRYING TO RIP ME OFF. WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO GET A RECALL ON THIS?
