TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH THE STEERING WHEEL MALFUNCTIONED AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO MOVE FROM THE LEFT TO THE RIGHT INTO THE OTHER LANES, UNCONTROLLABLY. I OWN A 2009 COROLLA SINCE MAY 2008 AND SINCE THE FIRST DAY I BOUGHT MY CAR, I HAVE HAD THIS FEELING THAT THE STEERING ON MY COROLLA IS "SUPER SENSITIVE" AND THAT IS A CHALLENGE TO KEEP THE CAR FROM VEERING TO EITHER SIDE. I HAD THE ALIGNMENT CHECKED BUT THAT DID NOT HELP A LOT. I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT MAYBE IT IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE 2009 COROLLAS HAVE AN ELECTRIC POWER STEERING VERSUS THE HYDRAULIC POWER STEERING IN THE EARLIER MODELS, AND SINCE I HAVE NEVER OWNED AN ELECTRIC POWER STEERING CAR IN THE PAST, I FEEL IT DIFFERENT BUT NOW READING ABOUT THE CHALLENGE THAT OTHER 2009 COROLLA OWNERS FACE WHEN TRYING TO KEEP IT GOING STRAIGHT, IT LOOKS LIKE THIS IS SOMETHING BIGGER. IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO STEER MY 09 COROLLA WITH ONE HAND (WHICH WAS NEVER AN ISSUE WITH MY PREVIOUS CARS) AND IT IS A CHALLENGE TO PREVENT IT FROM VEERING OFF THE LANE. I HAVE TO USE A TIGHT TWO HANDED GRIP TO PREVENT THE CAR FROM MOVING TOWARDS ANOTHER... WHICH HAPPENS WITHIN SECONDS AND HAS SCARED ME WHILE DRIVING, MORE THAN JUST A COUPLE TIMES. *TR

THE CONTACT HAD THE FIRST PEDAL REPLACED AND ONE WEEK LATER, THE CONTACT HAD ANOTHER SUDDEN ACCELERATION OCCUR WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH THROUGH A PARKING LOT. THE CONTACT ALSO HAD AN INCIDENT WHILE SITTING AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT. THE VEHICLE STARTED TO MAKE A ROARING SOUND AND MOVING FORWARD WHILE THE CONTACT HAD HER FOOT ON THE BRAKES. A MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE SEEMED FINE. TOYOTA ALSO INSPECTED THE VEHICLE STATING THAT NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH IT. THE CONTACT DID NOT HAVE THE VIN# AVAILABLE WHEN THE COMPLAINT WAS FILED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 18500. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 18500.
JUST GOT MY RECALLED TOYOTA 09 GAS PEDAL FIXED ( 02/03/10) AND RAN THROUGH A RED LIGHT (02/08/10) DUE TO BRAKES NOT WORKING AND SUDDEN ACCELERATION OF VEHICLE. LUCKILY THERE WASN'T A CAR IN FRONT OF ME OR ANYONE GOING THROUGH THE INTERSECTION. I WAS NOT DRIVING VERY FAST AND TRIED TO STOP AT LIGHT, I WAS PUSHING THE BRAKE PEDAL AND IT JUST FELT LIKE IT WASN'T GRABBING AND I HAD IT PUSHED TO THE FLOOR AND THEN MY CAR MADE AN ACCELERATING SOUND LIKE I REVVED IT UP AND I WENT THROUGH THE INTERSECTION. *CN
I LIVE IN MINNESOTA AND DURING WINTER MY 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA PRODUCE A SLIPPING ON BLACK ICE SENSATION WHEN PASSING UNDER A BRIDGE. THIS USUALLY HAPPENS AT HIGHWAY SPEED AND I'M NOT STEERING THE CAR AT ALL. IT'S LIKE THE CAR TEMPORARILY STEER ITSELF UNDER THE BRIDGE WITHOUT ME MOVING THE STEERING WHEEL. I HAVE TO KEEP THE STEERING EXTRA STILL TO AVOID A SKID OR SHIFTING TO ANOTHER LANE. MY CAR ALSO HAS POOR ANTILOCK BRAKING. THE ANTILOCK FREQUENCY IS WAY TO HIGH TO BE EFFECTIVE IN LOW SPEED DRIVING. IT USUALLY CAUSE SKID AND LONG BRAKING DISTANCE. *TR
MY TOYOTA COROLLA/S/L HAS HAD STEERING PROBLEMS SINCE WE BOUGHT IT. ESPECIALLY ON THE HIGHWAY THE CAR VEERS/SWERVES TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT LIKE YOU WERE DRIVING IN A WIND STORM. THIS IS MY 18 YEAR OLD DAUGHTERS CAR. IT'S A 2009 WITH 20,000 ON IT AND EVERY SINGLE TIME SHE BRINGS IT FOR A OIL CHANGE SHE TELLS THE MECHANIC TO CHECK THE ALIGNMENT BECAUSE SHE HAS A HARD TIME STEERING IT ON THE HIGHWAY. 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA - 14,000 MILES FEBRUARY 8, 2010 TRIED TO START CAR. IT WAS FIRING UP BUT NOT TURNING OVER. TURNED KEY OFF. IT WAS STILL FIRING UP. IT STOPPED WITHIN A FEW SECONDS. THIS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES THE SAME DAY - UNABLE TO START THE CAR. FEBRUARY 9, 2010 - IN THE MORNING, TRIED TO START THE CAR - IT FIRED UP BUT DID NOT TURN OVER. KEPT FIRING UP WHEN KEY WAS TURNED OFF. TRIED AGAIN AND IT STARTED. TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY CLEANED THE FUEL INJECTORS. QUESTION - COULD THIS BE RELATED TO THE ACCELERATOR PROBLEM? *TR
OUR 2009 COROLLA WAS TAKEN TO MELODY TOYOTA DEALERSHIP FOR RECALL - ACCELERATOR PEDAL REINFORCEMENT BAR INSTALLATION ON 2-8-10. FOUR DAYS AFTER THE REPAIR, MY HUSBAND TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP BECAUSE HE HEARD A WHINE NOISE FROM ENGINE. AFTER THE CAR WAS BEING EXAMINED, SERVICE ADVISOR VERIFIED THIS IS A NORMAL NOISE - NO REPAIR NEEDED. MY HUSBAND FEEL VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THE ANNOYING NOISE. HE STATES THAT HE NEVER HEARD SUCH A NOISE BEFORE THE RECALL. RIGHT NOW WHENEVER HE STEP ON THE GAS PEDAL, THE NOISE OCCURRED. WE WOULD BE HAPPY IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SCHEDULE AN INSPECTION IN OUR AREA. *TR
MY CAR IS A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA WHICH IS ON THE RECALL LIST. I HAD GONE TO THEM TWO DAY BEFORE THE ACTUAL RECALL, BECAUSE EACH TIME I WOULD ENCOUNTER A DOWN SLOPE OR GO DOWN A HILL, MY CAR WOULD SOUND LIKE IT WAS IDLING UP AND GRINDING AS IF IT WANTED TO TAKE OFF. IT HAD BEEN SERVICE A WEEK BEFORE THIS HAPPENED; HOWEVER, THE SOUND OF MY BRAKES SCARED ME SO I TOOK IT BACK IN TWICE. THEY STILL INSISTED NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH IT. THEN, I TOOK IT BACK THE NEXT DAY AFTER THE RECALL, AND I WAS TREATED VERY RUDELY BY THE SERVICE PEOPLE AS WELL AS THE SERVICE MANAGER. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE SINCE THEN. I DRIVE IT DAILY WITH A PRAYER, BECAUSE I WAS TOLD THAT IF MY VIN NUMBER BEGIN WITH A "J" IT IS NOT ON THE RECALL LIST. HOWEVER, I AM VERY AFRAID OR PARANOID ABOUT DRIVING IT DAILY AND ESPECIALLY ON RAINY DAYS. WHEN IT RAINS MY BRAKES SQUEAK AND SOUND AS IF THEY OR LETTING OUT AIR OR A BALLOON BEING RUBBED AGAINST YOUR HAND. I HAVE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND RECEIVED NO RESPONSE. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH UNIVERSAL TOYOTA UNTIL NOW. I WAS A FAITHFUL CUSTOMER WHO HAS HAD SIX TOYOTA CARS THAT I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED, BUT THIS SITUATION HAS CAUSE ME TO CONSIDER OTHER OPTIONS. MY 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA S VEERS (AS IF HIT BY HARSH WIND) WHILE DRIVING 60+ MPH ON THE HIGHWAY. I WAS DRIVING OUT OF STATE ON A HIGHSPEED HIGHWAY WHEN I NOTICED THE PROBLEM. I HAD TO SLOW DOWN AND HOLD ONTO THE STEERING WHEEL WITH BOTH HANDS TO KEEP MY CAR IN MY LANE. I HAVE ONLY HAD THE PROBLEM OCCUR AT HIGH SPEEDS SO I HAVE BEEN DRIVING SLOWER SINCE THEN. I FOUND OUT YESTERDAY THAT THERE MAY BE ANOTHER POSSIBLE RECALL AND THAT'S WHEN I DECIDED TO FILE A COMPLAINT. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 TOYOTA COROLLA. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE ACCLERATED, CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE AND WAS IMPACTED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED AND THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE CONTACT WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL BUT DID NOT SUSTAIN MAJOR INJURIES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE MADE A LEFT TURN OWN IT'S OWN AND CAUSED THE CRASH TO OCCUR AND THAT THE POWER STEERING WAS FAULTY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 36,000. UPDATED 05/10/10*JB
ABOUT 5:30PM ON THURSDAY EVENING (2/4/10), I WAS DRIVING HOME N ON SILVER LAKE BLVD & 36 ST. IT WAS LIGHTLY SNOWING, THE STREETS WERE WET AND SLIPPERY, AND I WAS DRIVING UNDER 15/MPH GOING DOWNHILL. AS I PRESSED THE BRAKES, THE CAR WENT FASTER, AND DID NOT STOP UNTIL I BADLY HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME AND WENT OVER THE CURB. MY CAR IS A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA. ABOUT 2-3 MONTHS AGO, TOYOTA SENT ME A RECALL NOTICE FOR THE BRAKES, MUCH BEFORE THE NATIONWIDE TOYOTA RECALL HIT THE MEDIA. AND NOW, EVEN AFTER I DID RECALL A FEW MONTHS AGO, THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT SUCH A BRAKE-RELATED INCIDENT HAS HAPPENED TO ME EVER SINCE THE RECALL. I FEEL THAT THIS ACCIDENT IS RELATED TO ANOTHER BRAKE DEFECT OF THE NEWLY-REPLACED/ALTERED BRAKES, AND WOULD KINDLY ASK FOR IT TO BE FURTHER INVESTIGATED. *TR

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA. WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 30 MPH THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED CAUSING HIM TO CRASH INTO AN OBJECT WHICH DESTROYED THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT INJURED HIS SHOULDER DURING THE CRASH AND A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALERSHIP AND THERE WERE NO PRIOR WARNINGS. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 15000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA. WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH WITH THE BRAKE PEDAL ENGAGED, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT STOP. THE BRAKE PEDAL BEGAN MOVING BACK AND FORTH UNCONTROLLABLY UNTIL THE CONTACT FIRMLY ENGAGED THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE FAILURE HAS OCCURRED 6 TIMES. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY WOULD REPAIR THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL THE FOLLOWING DAY AND THEN DIAGNOSE THE BRAKING SYSTEM. THE VEHICLE WILL BE REPAIRED. MY 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA KEEPS PULLING LEFT - IT IS PARTICULARLY OBVIOUS (AND MORE DIFFICULT TO HANDLE)WHEN DRIVING 55MPH+ ON THE HIGHWAY. I WENT TO MY DEALERSHIP, REPORTED THE PROBLEM AND ASKED THEM TO CHECK ON IT LAST WEEK. THEY SAID THAT THERE WAS NO PROBLEM WITH THE ALIGNMENT OF THE CAR. HOWEVER, THEY ROTATED MY TWO FRONT TIRES - WHICH DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. MY CAR KEEPS PULLING LEFT WHEN DRIVING AT HIGH SPEEDS (55 MPH+) ON THE HIGHWAY. THIS HASN'T CAUSED AN ACCIDENT YET, BUT IT DOES MAKE IT DIFFICULT TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA. WHILE DRIVING AT SPEEDS OF 60 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL EXHIBITED MINIMAL RESISTANCE, CAUSING THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE TO SWAY OUTSIDE OF THE TRAVELED LANE WITHOUT DRIVER INTENT. THE FAILURE WOULD OCCUR INTERMITTENTLY. THE DEALER STATED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS ON HIS VEHICLE PERTAINING TO THAT TYPE OF FAILURE. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT HE WOULD OFTEN EXPERIENCE SUDDEN SURGING OF THE VEHICLE ENGINE UPON REMOVING HIS FOOT FROM THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND TRAVELING AT A STEADY SPEED ON THE FREEWAY. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 52,000.
WHILE DRIVING OUR 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA ON A SLICK, SNOW-COVERED ROADWAY, A VEHICLE IN FRONT OF MY WIFE STOPPED RATHER QUICKLY. SHE WAS TRAVELING ABOUT 15-20 MILES PER HOUR, UPON BRAKING, THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKES KICKED IN AND SEEMED TO COMPLETELY DISENGAGE THE BRAKES. THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKES FIRED SLOWLY, THE PEDAL STRONGLY RESISTED BEING PRESSED AND THE CAR KEPT ON GOING, SHE HAD TO SWERVE INTO A GAS STATION TO AVOID REAR-ENDING THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF HER. TWO DAYS LATER, IT SNOWED AGAIN, AND I WAS ABLE TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM ON OUR STREET. DRIVING AT A SPEED OF 20-25 MPH, I QUICKLY APPLIED THE BRAKES AND EXPERIENCED THE SAME RESISTANCE TO PRESSING OF THE BRAKES, THE SAME SLOW FIRING OF THE ANTI-LOCK SYSTEM, AND THE SAME FEELING OF COMPLETE DISENGAGEMENT OF THE BRAKES. THE CAR TOOK NEARLY 120 FEET TO STOP (THIS IS A VERY GROSS ESTIMATE BASED ON PROPERTY SIZES). AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE, WE TESTED THE BRAKES ON OUR TOYOTA RAV 4 ON THE SAME ROAD AND GOT SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER PERFORMANCE - THE VEHICLE STOPPED IN LESS THAN 60 FEET (AGAIN, GROSS ESTIMATE) AND DID NOT EXHIBIT THE RESISTANCE TO PRESSING OR THE SLOW FIRING OF THE ABS. UPON TAKING THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER, WE WERE INFORMED THAT EVERYTHING TESTED FINE AND THERE WAS NO PROBLEM AND NOTHING TO FIX. THE PROBLEM RECURRED AGAIN IN SIMILAR CONDITIONS TWO DAYS LATER. THE DEALER HAS OFFERED TO ALLOW US TO BRING THE CAR IN ON A DAY WHEN A REP FROM TOYOTA WILL BE PRESENT, BUT I FEEL THAT THEY DO NOT BELIEVE US, AND AM NOT OPTIMISTIC THAT THEY WILL BE ABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE CAUSE. *TR

I WAS GOING BETWEEN 65-70 AND I CAME INCHES TO HITTING AN 18WHEELER, THANKFULLY IN MY ATTEMPT TO CONTROL THE STEERING I SLIGHTLY VEERED TO THE RIGHT AND OF COURSE THE COROLLA VEERED A LOT MORE TO THE RIGHT THAN I INTENDED BUT AT LEAST THERE WERE NO VEHICLES IN THAT LANE. GOD WAS WITH ME. I AM AWARE OF MY CAR'S STEERING ISSUE BUT I CANNOT DRIVE AT 30MPH ON A HIGHWAY. KEEPING THE STEERING STRAIGHT IS A TASK ALL ON ITS OWN. I'M FOCUSING ON THE CAR NOT VEERING INTO ANOTHER LANE AND CAUSING A FATAL ACCIDENT WHEN I SHOULD BE FOCUSING ON THE ROAD AND DRIVING IN A NORMAL STATE RATHER THEN A PANICKY ONE. I DRIVE THIS HIGHWAY EVERYDAY AND I HAVE BEEN CLOSE MANY TIMES TO HITTING OTHER VEHICLES. I REALLY NEED THIS TO BE INVESTIGATED I AM BECOMING MORE AND MORE SCARED EVERY DAY ON MY DRIVE TO WORK. THE VEHICLE SUSTAINED DAMAGES TO THE BODY OF THE VEHICLE ON THE PASSENGER AND DRIVERS SIDE. THE POLICE WAS CALLED TO THE SCENE. THERE WERE NO PERSONAL INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS OPERABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THERE WAS A RECALL UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 10V017000 ( VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL;ACCELERATOR PEDAL); HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS EXCLUDED SINCE THE MANUFACTURER WAS IN JAPAN. EPS STEERING IS VERY HARD TO KEEP CAR IN LANE WHEN TRAVELING AT HIGHWAY SPEED. THE BEST DESCRIPTION I CAN GIVE IS THAT YOU HAVE TO MAKE CONSTANT MICRO ADJUSTMENTS TO KEEP IT GOING STRAIGHT. EIGHT DAYS AFTER HAVING THE RECALL PERFORMED, THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 20MPH AND THE VEHICLE HAD SUDDENLY ACCELERATED WITHOUT WARNING. IN ORDER TO STOP THE ACCELERATION THE CONTACT HAD TO SHIFT THE VEHICLE INTO NEUTRAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE REPRODUCED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 25000.

THERE WERE NO FURTHER REPAIRS MADE TO THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,371 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 38,372.
STEERING ISSUE WITH 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA, 25,050 MILES. WHILE TRAVELING AT 20MPH IN RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION, VEHICLE VEERED LEFT, STEERING UNRESPONSIVE, SPUN 180 DEGREES AND CAME TO REST AGAINST THE CURB ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE ROAD. CAR IN FRONT AND CAR TO THE REAR PASSED THROUGH SAME AREA WITHOUT INCIDENT. ALSO, VEHICLE WILL DRIFT ABRUPTLY AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS, SIMILAR TO EFFECT OF HIGH CROSSWIND OR ICE, WITH NO MOVEMENT OF STEERING WHEEL AND NONE OF THE BODY ROLL THAT USUALLY ACCOMPANIES A CROSSWIND, REQUIRES HIGH LEVEL OF ATTENTIVENESS TO AVOID CROSSING LANE BOUNDARIES. THIS BEHAVIOR IS SPORADIC, BUT A 10-MILE TRIP IS ENOUGH DISTANCE FOR SEVERAL OCCURRENCES. GIVEN THE INTERMITTENT NATURE OF THIS ISSUE, I HAVE NOT REPORTED IT TO THE DEALERSHIP NOR TO TOYOTA, SO NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE AND NO REPAIRS HAVE BEEN ATTEMPTED. *TR

CRUISE CONTROL THROWS YOU BACK IN YOUR SEAT AS SOON AS IT KICKS IN GOING UP A SMALL INCLINE. WE'VE NEVER HAD A CRUISE CONTROL THAT THROWS YOU VIOLENTLY BACK IN YOUR SEAT. HE CALLED THE DEALER A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO AND THEY ADVISED HIM THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATE 65 MPH WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ACTIVATED THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO ACCELERATE. HE ENGAGED THE BRAKE PEDAL AND THE VEHICLE SLOWED DOWN. HE TOOK HIS VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR A RECALL REPAIR AND THEY DID NOT REPLACE THE FLOOR MATS. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO PROVIDE A VIN. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
I HAD TALKED WITH TOYOTA MULTIPLE TIMES REGARDING WHAT SOMETIMES FELT LIKE VERY LOOSE, UNCONTROLLED STEERING IN MY 2009 COROLLA XLE, & WAS TOLD EACH TIME THAT IT WAS DOING WHAT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO DO & I NEEDED TO "GET USED TO IT." THE STEERING WAS HYPERSENSITIVE & WHEN MAKING EASY TURNS, THE WHEELS FREQUENTLY TURNED AS FAR AS MECHANICALLY POSSIBLE (COULD HEAR THEM HIT THE WHEEL WELL.) I EVENTUALLY RESIGNED MYSELF TO THE STEERING & QUIT ASKING THEM. WHILE DRIVING ON A 2 LANE ROAD, AROUND A LARGE CURVE, I FOUND MYSELF TO CLOSE TO AN OBJECT ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD. I INSTINCTIVELY PULLED THE WHEEL TO THE LEFT & IMMEDIATELY FELT THE CAR TRY TO MAKE A TURN, THEN START TO SPIN, WHEN I TRIED TO STEER BACK TO THE RIGHT TRYING TO CORRECT, I FELT NO RESPONSE OR CONTROL. MY CAR SPUN AROUND 180 DEGREES, OFF THE ROAD, & ROLLED ONTO THE DRIVERS SIDE & PART OF THE ROOF. AS FAR AS INTERIOR SAFETY, NO AIR BAGS DEPLOYED BUT THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT HELD UP WELL, & WHILE MY INSURANCE CO. HAD TO TOTAL THE CAR, I ONLY SUFFERED BUMPS & BRUISES.
