I AM THE OWNER OF A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA, WHOSE VIN NUMBER IS: [XXX]. THAT CAR HAD A LOW MILEAGE WHEN I BROUGHT TO GERMAIN TOYOTA IN NAPLES, FLORIDA, TO FIX ANY PROBLEM AT THAT TIME THAT HAD CAUSED THE "ENGINE LIGHT" TO APPEAR ON THE DASH. I WAS TOLD THAT THE "GAS CAP" WAS THE PROBLEM AND THAT I NEEDED TO REPLACE IT; I FOLLOWED THEIR RECOMMENDATION. BUT, ONE DAY AFTER THE SAME LIGHT APPEARED AGAIN. DISAPPEAR; THEREFORE, I DECIDED NOT TO COME BACK FOR THAT SAME THING. RECENTLY, IN SEVERAL OCCASIONS THE CAR SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT BOTH IN LOCAL AND HIGHWAY 75 WITHOUT ANY WARNING OR SIGN THAT SUCH THING WAS GOING TO HAPPEN: ?THE GAS PEDAL JUST GOES TO ZERO, THAT MEANS THE PRESSURE WENT QUICKLY AND SUDDENLY TO NO PRESSURE, AND THREE LIGHTS ARE SHOWN ON THE DASH.? THANK GOD, I AM STILL ALIVE! I TOOK THE CAR TO GERMAIN TOYOTA, THEY HAD URGED ME TO REPLACE THE "BATTERY," WHICH I DID. THE PROBLEM RESURFACED THE DAY AFTER. THE SECOND TIME, THEY ASKED ME TO REPLACE THE "ECU," WHICH I DID. THAT COST ME MORE THAN $800, CLOSE TO $900. THE THREE LIGHTS REAPPEARED AFTER TWO DAYS. I CAME BROUGHT THE CAR BACK TO GERMAIN TOYOTA, THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS ANOTHER THING THAT CAUSED THE PROBLEM. LAST WEEK, THE FIRST WEEK OF DECEMBER, I BROUGHT IT BACK TO THEM FOR THE SAME LIGHTS, AND THEY TOLD ME TO REPLACE AGAIN THE "GAS CAP," I PAID ANOTHER MONEY, BUT THE SAME PROBLEM CONTINUES TO GO ON AND ON AND PERSIST EVERY WEEK. THE DEALER REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE AND ACCEPT THAT IT IS A FACTORY DEFECT. THOSE THINGS HAPPENED BOTH IN STREETS AND HIGHWAY I-75. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE TO CONTINUE TO DRIVE IT ANYMORE, AND I DO NOT WANT TO SELL IT TO PLACE SOMEONE ELSE'S LIFE IN PERIL. THEREFORE, I ASK YOUR DEPARTMENT FOR HELP. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS A VIBRATION IN THE STEERING WHEEL AND AN ABNORMAL GRINDING SOUND COMING FROM THE FRONT BRAKES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE DISC NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,000.

TANKS INFLATORS, DEALER HAS HAD MY CAR SINCE AUGUST 2016. THEY ARE FURNISHING A RENT CAR, BUT MINE IS JUST SITTING, DEAD BATTERY AND DRYING TIRES AND OIL SEALS. NEVER STARTED, WHICH IS BAD FOR THE CAR. TOYOTA COULD HAVE JUST BOUGHT THE CAR FOR WHAT THEY HAVE PAID IN RENTAL FEES. I AM CONCERNED THE CAR WON'T BE WORTH HAVING BY THE TIME I GET IT BACK.
MY DAUGHTER HAS A COROLLA AND IT HAS A RECALL NOTICE FOR THE AIRBAG OF THE PASSENGERS SIDE, BUT THERE HAS BEEN NO SOLUTION SINCE IT'S DISCOVERY AND PUBLIC NOTICE OF MARCH 2016. I SENT A REQUEST TO TOYOTA AND STILL WAITING FOR THEIR RESPONSE. WHY WOULD THIS BE AN ACCEPTABLE PRACTICE TO PUT INNOCENT LIVES IN DANGER.

PRIOR TO REPLACEMENT LOUD CLUNKING SOUNDS AND STEERING DIFFICULT- OTHER OWNERS SAME ISSUES I AM READING. NEEDS RECALLED 4. APPX 77.000 MILES NO WARNING ALTERNATOR WENT OUT AND WAS EXTREMELY HOT AND SMELLY-REPLACED. 5. APPX 78,000 MILES BETWEEN 25-35 MPH TRANSMISSION KEEPS SLIPPING. I WAS DRIVING DOWN A STREET AND ONCE ON INTERSTATE IT HIT THE OTHER GEAR HARD/CLUNKED- TOYOTA DEALER CALLED TOYOTA AND THEY SAID REPLACE TRANSMISSION. CURRENTLY IN THE SHOP. CALLED TOYOTA AND FILED A CASE- THEY RESPECTIVELY UNDERSTAND MY CONCERN, HOWEVER, THEY DID NOT SEEM CONCERNED OF THE SAFETY HAZARD OF THIS ISSUE AND PROBABILITY OF THIS ISSUE CAUSING A DEATH. I HAVE FRIEND SAME ISSUE AND I HAVE READ ABOUT THIS SAME ISSUE ON THE INTERNET. THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL. LUCKILY IT DID NOT GO OUT ON ME DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE GOING 70MPG. SCARED OF THE VEHICLE AND DISTRUST COMPETENCY OF TOYOTA. ARE THEY UNWILLING TO ADMIT THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEM IS A SAFETY ISSUE? NEEDS RECALLED OR INVESTIGATED PLEASE HELP THE CONSUMER. TAKATA RECALL - I RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTICE OVER A YEAR AGO REGARDING MY AIR BAGS BEING RECALLED. TO DATE TOYOTA HAS DONE NOTHING. WHEN I ASKED AT THE PUENTE HILLS TOYOTA I WAS TOLD THEY WERE WORKING ON THE ISSUE AND THAT WAS ALMOST A YEAR AGO AND THAT I WAS NOT ENTITLED TO A RENTAL CAR. THESE AIRBAGS ARE DANGEROUS AND MY TODDLER SON SIT IN THE BACK SEAT WITH ME AS THE DRIVER. IF THERE WERE TO BE AN ACCIDENT AND THE AIR BAG DEPLOYED WITH THE METAL SHRAPNEL THAT IS IN IT THEN BOTH HIM AND I COULD BE SEVERELY INJURED OR EVEN SUFFER DEATH. IS THIS WHAT TOYOTA WANTS ON THEIR HANDS? INJURIES OF A CHILD AND A SINGLE MOTHER? I WANT MY CAR FIXED AND I WANT IT FIXED WITHIN THE NEXT 60 DAYS. I ALSO WANT MY REPAIRS TO BE DONE BY MY MECHANIC IF AT ALL POSSIBLE BECAUSE THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP AT PUENTE HILLS IS UNRELIABLE AND UNTRUSTWORTHY WITH ANY REPAIRS THEY MAKE.

THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON FREEWAY TAKING MY GRANDSON TO PRACTICE IT WAS HEAVY TRAFFIC ALOT OF BREAKING EVERY TIME I WOULD BREAK MY BREAKS FELT LIKE THEY WOULD LOCK EVERYTIME I WOULD BREAK. I GOT CONCERN GOT OFF FREEWAY CALLED DEALER TO INSPECT MY BRAKES. RESULTS THEY DISCOVERED MY ROTORS WERE WARP AND THAT WAS THE CAUSE RECOMENDED I REPLACE ROTORS BUT DID NOT FIND REASON HOW ROTORS GOT THAT WAY.OTHER ISSUE MY CV AXLES RIGHT AND LEFT FRONT WHEELS ARE CLICKING LOUD EVERY TIME I MAKE A TURN THEY SOUND LIKE THEY ARE GOING TO COME APART, THIS WAS ALSO DISCOVERED AT INSPECTIONWHEN BRAKES WERE INSPECTED.I HAVE NEVER WRECK THIS CAR , I HAVE NEVER GONE OVER ANY CURBS OR EXC I AM A CAREFUL DRIVER LOOK AT MY DRIVING RECORD. I CANNOT DRIVE CAR IN THIS CONDITION .TTHIS CAR HAS DEFUALTED PARTS AND ARE MALFUNCTIONING IT IS IN DANGERING ME DRIVING IT . MY REQUEST IS FOR TOYOTA CORP TO REPAIR THIS NOW BEFORE ANY ACCIDENT HAPPENS AS A RESULT OF THESE PARTS THAT ARE DEFAULTED.
THE CAR BATTERY KEEPS DYING ON THIS VEHICLE EVEN THOUGH THE BATTERY HAS BEEN REPLACED AND CHECKED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE DEALER CLAIMS A GROUND CABLE ON THE UNDERSIDE IS CORRODED AND "FIXED" IT- BUT THE PROBLEM STILL OCCURS. MY GUESS IS THIS IS A DESIGN DEFECT. IT'S SCARY TO DRIVE A CAR THAT MIGHT LEAVE YOU STRANDED EVERY TIME YOU TURN IT OFF. THIS HAS BEEN ONGOING FOR THE PAST 6 MONTHS.
POWER STEERING HAS NOISY EITHER LEFT AND RIGHT TURN ALL THE TIMES.
TAKATA RECALL. THE NHTSA RECALL NUMBER IS 16V340. THE MANUFACTURER RECALL NUMBER IS G1P. MY COMPLAINT IS IN REGARDS TO THE RECALL EFFORT. BEFORE RECEIVING THE OFFICIAL LETTER FROM TOYOTA FOR THIS RECALL, I HAD TAKEN MY CAR TO MY LOCAL TOYOTA DEALER BECAUSE FOR A TIME THE AIRBAG LIGHT WAS TURNING ON AND STAYING ON LONGER THAN THE OTHER LIGHTS AFTER IGNITION. I HAD HEARD THE NEWS ABOUT DEFECTIVE AIRBAGS AND WAS CONCERNED. WHEN I TOOK MY CAR IN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN EARLY 2016, THEY TOLD ME EVERYTHING WAS FINE AND THAT THERE WAS NO NEED TO RETURN UNLESS THE LIGHT STAYED ON DURING TRIPS. WHEN I ASKED THEM IF IT WAS SAFE TO HAVE SOMEONE SIT IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT, THEY SAID IT WAS FINE. THEN, MONTHS LATER, WHEN I GOT THE RECALL NOTICE FROM TOYOTA, THE LETTER CLEARLY STATED THAT, I SHOULD NOT HAVE ANYONE SITTING IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. WHEN I TOOK MY CAR IN AGAIN, THEY SAID THEY WERE STILL WORKING ON A FIX AND THAT IT COULD TAKE MONTHS OR PERHAPS EVEN YEARS. APART FROM THE FACT I CANNOT USE MY FRONT PASSENGER SEAT FOR PEOPLE, THE MOST INFURIATING PART OF THIS IS THAT I WAS TOLD BY PEOPLE AT MY LOCAL TOYOTA DEALER (BEFORE RECEIVING THE OFFICIAL RECALL NOTICE), THAT I COULD SAFELY HAVE PEOPLE IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. IN ADDITION, I HAVE DRIVEN FOR MONTHS CONCERNED ABOUT AN AIRBAG IN MY CAR WHICH COULD HARM OR KILL ME OR OTHER PEOPLE IN MY CAR. SLIGHTLY BEFORE LEARNING ABOUT THE DEFECTIVE AIRBAGS, I WAS INVOLVED IN A SINGLE-CAR CRASH WITH A YELLOW SAFETY POST IN A SUBTERRANEAN PARKING LOT ENTRANCE IN JANUARY 2016 (FENDER BENDER). WHILE MY FRONT BUMPER HAD TO BE REPAIRED, NO AIRBAGS WERE DEPLOYED AT THE TIME. *TR

CAR WAS T-BONED BY OTHER CAR & ALL AIRBAGS DEPLOYED CAUSING INJURY TO PEOPLE IN VEHICLE
12/27/2015 I WAS IN A ACCIDENT. I T-BONED A DRUNK DRIVER BECAUSE HE RAN A STOP SIGN. MY AIR BAGS NEVER DEPLOYED. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A VERY BAD SITUATION. HE HAS NO INSURANCE. MY HUSBAND AND I BOUGHT THIS CAR BECAUSE OF THE SAFETY AND WE WERE NEVER SAFE AT ALL. WE WERE IN MOTION ON A HIGHWAY GOING STRAIGHT. SHERIFF'S OFFICE AND INSURANCE ADJUSTER WERE VERY SHOCKED THAT THE AIR BAGS NEVER DEPLOYED.

WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, IT ACCELERATED AND MADE AN ABNORMAL NOISE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE THE FAILURE WAS UNDETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 54,900.
WHEN OUTSIDE ARE TEMPS ARE COLDER AND REQUIRE HEAT AND DEFROST THE INSIDE WINDOWS WILL NOT STAY CLEAR. THE FOGGING OF THE WINDOWS MAKES THIS VERY UNSAFE TO DRIVE, WORSE AT NIGHT. I HAVE READ ON SEVERAL BLOG SITES AND ON THE INTERNET THAT IS A COMMON CONCERN . RECIRCULATION MOTOR ON HVAC IS STUCK INTO RECIRC MODE AND WILL NOT CLEAR WINDOWS. THIS SHOULD BE A SAFETY RECALL AS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE.
DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG LIGHT ON NEED NEW ECU FOR AIRBAG.
IM CAR SOMETIMES TRY'S TO STALL OUT WHILE IM DRIVING OR SITTING AT A STOP LIGHT. IT SOUNDS LIKE IT IS BEING CHOKED OUT OR ISN'T GETTING ENOUGH FUEL. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING ON AND OFF FOR A NUMBER OF YEAR'S AND THE DEALER DOES NOT KNOW WHY.
LAST DECEMBER 11,2015 I BROUGHT MY COROLLA 2010 AT AUTO NATION TOYOTA TEMPE FOR AIR BAG RECALL AS THE AIR BAG LIGHTS IS ALWAYS ILLUMINATED. I WAITED FOR MORE THAN 3 HOURS FOR THEM TO FIX IT. WHEN ITS DONE, I DRIVE THE CAR HOME BUT AFTER A DAY THE AIRBAG LIGHTS REMAIN ILLUMINATED. I WAITED IF IT WILL DISAPPEAR AFTER A FEW DAYS, BUT UP TO THIS DAY, THE ILLUMINATION OF AIR BAG LIGHTS IS STILL ON. IT WAS FIXED WITH NO CHARGE TO ME, BUT WHAT ABOUT NOW THAT NOTHING HAS BEEN FIXED.
I BROUGHT MY COROLLA 2010 TO AUTO NATION TOYOTA TEMPE LAST DECEMBER 11, 2015 FOR THE RECALL OF AIRBAGS LIGHTS ILLUMINATION. BEFORE I BROUGHT IT TO AUTO NATION, AIRBAGS LIGHTS REMAIN ILLUMINATED AFTER TRAVELING LONG DISTANCES. AFTER THE REPAIR ON DECEMBER 11, 2015 THERE WILL BE TIME THAT THE AIRBAG LIGHTS REMAIN ILLUMINATED AFTER STARTING THE ENGINE TRAVELING SHORT DISTANCES. I CALLED THE SERVICE ADVISOR ABOUT THE PROBLEM, AND HE TOLD ME THAT THEY HAVE DONE WHAT IS TO BE DONE, AND TOLD ME TO BRING BACK THE CAR TO THEM AND IF THE PROBLEM IS NOT RELATED TO WHAT THEY HAVE DONE , I MIGHT BE CHARGED WITH DIAGNOSTIC FOR $193.00. I AM WORRIED THAT THEY MIGHT SAY THAT IT HAS A DIFFERENT PROBLEM NOT RELATED TO THE RECALL. MY ONLY CONCERN IS WHY WOULD THE PROBLEM WITH AIRBAG LIGHTS REMAIN ILLUMINATED AFTER THEY HAVE REPAIR IT?

EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION. MY 2010 COROLLA HAS SUDDENLY STARTED BURNING (NOT LEAKING) OIL AT THE RATE OF 1 QUART PER EVERY 1500 MILES. I NOTICED THIS HAPPENING A FEW MONTHS AGO AND HAVE BEEN CAREFULLY WATCHING IT. MY MECHANIC SAID IT IS MOST LIKELY A DEFECTIVE ENGINE OR PISTON RINGS. VERY COSTLY TO REPAIR. I BELIEVE TOYOTA KNOWINGLY PUT THESE DEFECTIVE ENGINES IN THE 2010 COROLLA. THEY PUT THE SAME ENGINE IN OTHER COROLLAS UP TO 2009. OBVIOUSLY IN THE 2010 ALSO. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS. I'M SURE THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS ISSUE. WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?
ONCE GAIN AFTER GETTING A NEW ENGINE PUT INTO THIS CAR 3 MONTHS BACK, OUR CAR EXPERIENCED YET ANOTHER PROBLEM - THE OXYGEN GAUGE IN THE EXHAUST SYSTEM WHICH IS ATTACHED TO THE ENGINE'S EXHAUST MANIFOLD HAS GONE BAD. WHILE DRIVING THE CAR TO WORK, THE ENGINE LIGHT AND VSC ILLUMINATES AGAIN. I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION, THIS IS THE DEALERSHIP'S FAULT SINCE IT DEALING WITH THE ENGINE, OR UNDER WARRANTY, BUT NOPE. I ENDED UP PAYING FOR THE REPAIR AGAIN. I HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH SO MANY PROBLEMS IN A SINGLE CAR. THIS CAR IS ACCIDENT FREE AND NEVER HAD ANY MAJOR DAMAGES DONE. I BELIEVE THIS CAR IS A FAULTY CAR AND COULD BE A RISK FACTOR TO MYSELF, MY FAMILY AND OTHERS ON THE ROAD.

AS I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD ONE DAY MY AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON, TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THAT THE SPIRAL SPRING IS DEFECTIVE IN MY CAR. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON THIS PART FROM TOYOTA, BUT FOR SOME REASON MY VIN # WAS NOT INCLUDED.
HORN FAILED TO HONK WHEN NEEDED. IT DID NOT WORK WHILE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON A HIGHWAY, IT DID NOT WORK ON A CITY STREET, IT DID NOT WORK PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY. THE WIRE BECAME SEPARATED AND THERE WAS A VOID, THE WIRE COVER STAYED INTACT UNTIL I REMOVED THE CONNECTOR FROM THE HORN. I HAD TO CONNECT A NEW WIRE FROM THE EXISTING WIRE AND RECONNECT TO THE HORN. ALL IS FINE NOW.

THE NEW COROLLA HAS NO FEEDBACK OF THE ROAD AND WOULD NOT STAY CENTERED IN ROAD AND WANDERS AROUND. IT HAS TO BE CORRECTED REPEATEDLY MAKING LONG TRIPS VERY TIRING. I TOOK IT TO TOYOTA AND THEY CENTERED THE STEERING AND ADDED A UPGRADE CIRCUIT BOARD WHICH TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I HAVE BEEN ILL FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS AND UNABLE TO USE THE CAR AND HAD OTHER PEOPLE DRIVE ME. THEY ALSO HAD STEERING PROBLEMS. WHEN I STARTED DRIVING AGAIN I STARTED HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AND BELIEVE THE CAR IS A DANGER TO ANY ONE DRIVING IT. I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO TOYOTA 8/2015 AND THEY SAID THE WANDERING WAS NORMAL FOR THE MODEL USING ELECTRIC STEERING. I HAD TECHNICIAN DO A 8 MILE TEST DRIVE TO CONFIRM THE PROBLEM. THEY REPORTED TO ME THERE WAS NO FIX REQUIRED BY THE GOVERNMENT AT THIS TIME AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO DO ANYTHING. PRESENT MILEAGE 17500.

WHEN I TRIED TO PARK THE CAR, I NOTICED THAT STEERING WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN. SEVERAL TIMES I TRIED TO PARK, AND I DID WITH DIFFICULTIES, FOR THE FRONT AND BACK. LATER THE STEERING WAS OK AND DROVE THE CAR. WHEN I TRIED TO PARK THE CAR IN MY HOUSE HAPPENED AGAIN. THE FIRST TIME WAS EASY, BUT I TRIED TO FIGURE OUT WHAT HAPPENED: I PUT IN NEUTRAL AND MOVED THE STEERING WHEEL, WHEN I TURNED LEFT THE STEERING WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN; I DROVE 100 MTS AND WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN TO ANY SIDE; I RETURNED TO MY HOUSE AND WAS TERRIBLE TO PARK, ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE.

MY CAR HAD ONLY HAD 47000 MILES ON IT. 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THAT I TOOK MY CAR TO THE DEALER FOR OIL CHANGE AND HE SAID I NEED NEW FRONT BRAKES ON THE NEXT OIL CHANGE. AS A RESULT OF THE ACCIDENT, MY CAR IS TOTALLED. FORTUNATELY NO ONE WAS INJURED! THE POLICEMAN TOOK REPORT. I CALLED TOYOTA CUSTOMER SERVICE IN TORRANCE AND SHE SUGGESTED TO INSPECT THE " BLACK BOX " OR EDR OF THE CAR THEN SHE ASKED ME WHAT I WANT FROM TOYOTA! AFTER THE ACCIDENT, I FOUND OUT THAT THERE WERE LOTS OF RECALLS ON TOYOTA MATRIX UP TO 2012 BUT I NEVER RECEIVED ANY NOTICE FROM THE MAIL NOR THE DEALER FIX THE RECALL WHENEVER I TAKE MY CAR FOR OIL CHANGE!

WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES, MY CAR WILL REV UP. ESPECIALLY WHEN I'M GOING DOWN HILL. ANOTHER CONCERN IS THAT MY CAR WILL MAKE A 2-3 SECOND RATTLING NOISE UPON STARTING UP. I AVOID DRIVING AT FAST SPEEDS WHEN ITS RAINY BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY THE CAR IS VERY UNSTABLE. MY DRIVER SIDE WINDOW WONT OPEN OR CLOSE AND VERY COLD DAYS AND OTHER DAYS IT MAKES A WEIRD NOISE. FOR THE PAST FIVE YEARS, SINCE WE OWED THE VEHICLE, WE HAVE DID ALL THE OIL, FILTER CHANGES, AND THE REQUIRED MAINTENANCE, I.E., TIRE ROTATIONS, ALIGNMENT, AND THE DIFFERENT MILES INSPECTION ON TIME AND NEVER MISSED A SINGLE MAINTENANCE OR CHECK-UPS. WE CAN PROVIDE PROPER DOCUMENTATIONS, IF NEEDED. WHEN THE CAR REACHED THE 34,000 MILES, THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE VEHICLE STARTED TO SHAKE. WE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE LUSTINE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP AND THEY FIX THE VEHICLE. THE DEALERSHIP INFORMED US THAT IT WAS A PART OF A RECALL ISSUE, AND NO FEES WOULD BE REQUIRED FROM OUR SIDE. HOWEVER, WE HAVE RECENTLY FACED THE SAME ISSUE THIS PAST WEEK, AND THE CAR HAS NOW REACHED MORE THAT 89,000 MILES. ONCE AGAIN, WE HAD THE VEHICLE SERVICED BY LUSTINE TOYOTA, WHO THEN INFORMED US THE VEHICLE NEEDS A NEW ENGINE, WHICH IS ABOUT A $8,000.00 EXPENSE. I RECENTLY FILED A COMPLIANT WITH THE TOYOTA COOPERATION, WHO REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE FAULT AND WANTS TO PROVIDE ME WITH $2,000.00 TO REPLACE FAMILY'S CAR. MY FAMILY AND I WERE NOT EXPECTING THIS EXHAUSTIVE EXPENSE AND A $2,000.00 CREDIT IS NOT ENOUGH TO PURCHASE ANOTHER VEHICLE. THIS IS A VERY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE FOR MYSELF AND MY FAMILY. I HAVE CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 5, WHICH ARE ALSO TRAUMATIZED AND AFRAID OF THE CAR'S CONDITION TO OPERATE SAFELY (MY CHILDREN WERE IN THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME THE VEHICLE SHOOK VIGOROUSLY).
