I HAVE A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA. DEC.24 2009 WAS A REPORT OF THE FIRST FAILURE. I WAS DRIVING OUT OF A RESIDENTIAL PARKING LOT AND APPLIED MY BRAKES BEFORE I APPROACHED THE STREET AND MY CAR ENDED UP ACCELERATING HITTING THE PASSENGER DOOR OF ANOTHER VEHICLE. MOREOVER IF I DRIVE OVER A BUMPY SURFACE OR POT HOLE MY PEDALS START TO KICK BACK OR VIBRATE. DON'T KNOW WHAT TO CALL IT. ALSO I HAVE 2 RECALLS FOR MY VEHICLE ACCORDING TO TOYOTA SERVICE CENTER. AFTER FIXING MY RECALL I NOW HAVE A NEW PROBLEM WITH MY CAR. IT MAKES SQUEAK SOUNDS AND SQUEALS AS I APPLY MY FOOT ON THE ACCELERATOR. I TOOK IT BACK TO THE TOYOTA SERVICE CENTER ON MAR.2 AND THEY TOLD ME AFTER WAITING 2 HOURS THAT NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH MY CAR AND PUT ON MY SERVICE RECEIPT AS "NORMAL NOISE". ALSO REGARDING THE ACCIDENT A TOYOTA INSPECTOR FROM CORPORATE INSPECTED MY CAR BEFORE MY RECALL WAS FIXED AND DESPITE THE TWO RECALLS SAID THAT MY VEHICLE HAS NO PROBLEMS AND THE ACCIDENT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. I NOW DRIVE A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA THAT SQUEALS AND SQUEAKS EVERY DAY AND MY INSURANCE COMPANY IS FIGHTING PROPERTY DAMAGE AND BODILY INJURY CLAIMS FROM THE DRIVER I STRUCK ON THE PASSENGER SIDE AND EVERYTHING APPEARS TO BE MY FAULT AND NOT TOYOTA. IM IN SUCH DISTRESS WITH TOYOTA I DON'T KNOW WHAT MORE TO DO. I GAVE THEM CHANCE AFTER CHANCE TO HELP ME BUT ITS JUST GETTING WORSE. THIS IS MY FIRST NEW CAR AND ALSO MY FIRST ACCIDENT I EVER HAD. IM SCARED THAT I HAVE TO PAY 20,000 FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEARS FOR A DEFECTED CAR. PLEASE HELP! *TR
2010 COROLLA S I TRAVEL THROUGH MOUNTAIN ROADS AND I HAVE NOTICED THAT THE STEERING AT SPEEDS ABOVE 60 MPH BECOMES LOOSE AND CAR WANDERS IN LANE. STEERING ALSO MAKES NOISE WHEN PARKING IN STEERING COLUMN. *TR
PURCHASES NEW COROLLA ON 12/26/09. UPON DRIVING 18 MILES TO MY HOME ON THE FREEWAY, I FOUND IT HARD TO STEER THE CAR. IT FELT LIKE I WAS DRIVING ON ICE OR HYDROPLANING. WHAT A SCARY FEELING. I CALLED MY SALESMAN, HE SAID BRING IT IN, BUT I HAD TO GET HOME TO CARE FOR MY 85 YR OLD MOTHER WHO HAS DEMENTIA. I HAVE TAKEN IT IN ONCE. THE ALIGNMENT WAS OFF ONLY IN THE TOE AND ADJUSTED AS WERE THE OVER-INFLATED TIRES OF 37 LBS EACH, ADJUSTED TO 34 LBS. THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS REPLACE THOUGH I HAD NO PROBLEMS. THE STEERING IS STILL VERY SENSITIVE HAVING TO PULL THE CAR ON A STRAIGHT PATH AS IT TENDS TO VEER TO THE LEFT OR THE RIGHT. MY MASTER REPAIR MECHANIC AND I WENT ON A DRIVE TODAY, 02/18/10. HE SAID THAT THE REAR WHEELS WERE NOT ALIGNING WITH THE STEERING. FELT AS THOUGH YOU WERE SITTING SIDEWAYS AND TRYING TO DRIVE. I WILL HAVE AN APPT ON MONDAY, 02/22/10 AGAIN WITH FOLSOM TOYOTA, LETS SEE WHAT WE CAN DO??? CARS KEEP AT A DISTANCE AWAY FROM ME AS I CONSTANTLY HAVE TO STEER THE CAR CORRECTLY WITHIN THE LANE??? PS THIS IS MY 4TH NEW TOYOTA, NEVER DROVE ONE THAT FELT THIS SCARY! *TR
BOUGHT A 2010 COROLLA ON 12/26/09 WITH GOODYEAR EAGLE LS 2 TIRES. UPON DRIVING HOME MY STEERING WAS WEAVING LEFT TO RIGHT FELT AS THOUGH I WAS DRIVING ON ICE AND/OR HYDROPLANING. TOYOTA REGIONAL REP CAME FROM CORPORATE, LOOKED AT THE STEERING 2 WKS AGO. STEERING IMPROVED UNTIL DRIVING IN RAIN ON 4/4/10 THE STEERING BECAME LOOSE AND THE CAR WAS WEAVING LEFT TO RIGHT AND I WAS ONCE AGAIN HYDROPLANING AT 65 MPH GOODYEAR MAN SAID WHEN TRACTION IS LOST TO THE ROAD, THE VEHICLE WILL HYDROPLANE. (THESE TIRES ARE DANGEROUS) *TR THE CONSUMER STATED IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO CONTROL THE STEERING. THE VEHICLE WOULD WANDER INTO THE NEXT LANE. THE CONSUMER ALSO STATED THE VEHICLE DID NOT ALWAYS STOP IN TIME WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED. THE CONSUMER WAS TOLD THE VEHICLE WAS EQUIPPED WITH ABS AND THEY WERE MUCH BETTER AND SAFER. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO DRIFT. THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO OCCUR INTERMITTENTLY. THE DEALER STATED THAT IT APPEARED TO BE SAFE AT THIS TIME AND SHE MAY NEED SOME TIME GETTING ADJUSTED TO ELECTRONIC STEERING. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 1,000.

WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS IN LIGHT TO MODERATE WIND THE VEHICLE IS DIFFICULT TO MAINTAIN DIRECTION. VEHICLE WILL CONTINUALLY WANDER AND REQUIRES CONSTANT CORRECTION TO MAINTAIN DESIRED DIRECTION OF TRAVEL. *TR
I OWN A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA AND AM AWAITING THE REPAIR FOR THE ACCELERATOR ISSUE. THIS COMPLAINT IS RELATED TO THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING. THE CAR DOES NOT WANT TO TRACK IN A STRAIGHT LINE. YOU MUST KEEP BOTH HANDS ON THE WHEEL AND ARE CONSTANTLY TWEAKING THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE RIGHT AND LEFT TO KEEP THE VEHICLE DRIVING STRAIGHT. THE HIGHER THE SPEED, THE MORE PROBLEMATIC THE STEERING IS. GUSTY WINDS MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU COULD LOSE CONTROL AT ANY MINUTE. I AM HOPING THAT TOYOTA WILL STEP UP AND ACKNOWLEDGE AN ISSUE WITH THE STEERING IS THE VEHICLE CAN BE EXHAUSTING TO DRIVE LIKE THIS. EACH TINY INPUT FORCES THE CAR TO VEER IN THAT DIRECTION IMMEDIATELY AND YOU THEN CORRECT TO THE OTHER DIRECTION AND IT VEERS THAT WAY. I HAVE NEVER OWNED A CAR THAT REQUIRED THIS MUCH ATTENTION AND EFFORT TO DRIVE IN A STRAIGHT LINE. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA. HE STATED THAT WHEN DRIVING 25 MPH AND MAKING A TURN THE STEERING WHEEL STAYED IN THAT SAME POSITION AND NEVER RETURNED TO THE STRAIGHT POSITION. HE ALSO STATED THAT WHEN DRIVING AND TRYING TO ENGAGE THE BRAKE PEDAL HE HAD TO APPLY A LOT PRESSURE ON THE PEDAL SO THAT IT COULD DECREASE THE SPEED. THE FAILURE WAS DUPLICATED AND THE CONTACT ADVISED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS FUNCTIONING NORMALLY. NO REPAIRS WERE MADE TO THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 300 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 888.
2010 TOYOTA COROLLA LE WHICH SUDDENLY VEERS LEFT OR RIGHT AT HIGH SPEEDS (45MPH OR GREATER). WHILE HOLDING THE STEERING WHEEL PERFECTLY STRAIGHT, THE CAR WILL WANDER LEFT OR RIGHT CAUSING THE DRIVER TO CORRECT THE STEERING AND PAY EXCESSIVE ATTENTION TO SIMPLY KEEPING THE CAR IN ITS OWN LANE. THIS OCCURS ALL THE TIME WHEN DRIVING ABOVE 45MPH. NO ACCIDENT HAS TAKEN PLACE, BUT I FEAR FOR MYSELF AND MY FAMILY MEMBERS WHO DRIVE THE VEHICLE. AS A RESULT, WE HAVE DRIVEN THE CAR SPARINGLY OR ONLY FOR LOCAL DESTINATIONS WHICH DO NOT REQUIRE TAKING A HIGHWAY. I HAVE TAKEN THE CAR TO A DEALERSHIP WHERE THE SERVICE ADVISOR ADMITTED THAT THE STEERING IS "TOO SENSITIVE" CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO "WANDER" AND THAT WHILE THERE IS "NO FIX FOR IT YET [HE] HOPES FOR A FIX SOON." REGARDLESS OF THESE STATEMENTS, HE WROTE ON MY SERVICE PAPERS THAT THE VEHICLE "ROAD TESTED NORMAL CHARACTERISTIC." A MONTH LATER, I CALLED THE SERVICE ADVISOR AGAIN TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTING. I REQUESTED TO BRING IN THE CAR FOR AN ADDITIONAL REVIEW OF THE PROBLEM. HE DENIED MY REQUEST BY STATING THAT "THERE'S NO POINT IN BRINGING IN THE CAR UNTIL A FIX IS ISSUED." I THEN BROUGHT THE VEHICLE TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP, WHICH WAS NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. THEY OUTRIGHT DENIED MY CLAIM THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM AND STATED ON MY SERVICE PAPERWORK THAT THE "VEHICLE DRIVES NORMAL" AND THAT THEY "CANNOT DUPLICATE THE CUSTOMER CONCERN." NO FIX HAS BEEN DONE AND THE VEHICLE SITS IN THE GARAGE VIRTUALLY UNTOUCHED (LESS THAN 800 MILES) WHEN IT WAS BOUGHT OVER 3 MONTHS AGO. *CN
I HAVE A 2010 COROLLA IT CONSTANTLY SWAYS WHILE DRIVING AT FREEWAY SPEEDS. SOMETIMES I NEED TO HOLD ONTO THE STEERING WHEEL WITH BOTH HANDS TO KEEP IT FROM GOING INTO ANOTHER LANE. I SWITCHED FROM DRIVING A SMALL VW BEETLE AND WAS FAMILIAR WITH STRONG WINDS CAUSING THESE PROBLEMS BUT WHEN I LOOKED OUT THE WINDOW THERE WAS NO WIND ALL THE TREES WERE STILL AND NO FLAGS WERE WAVING. THERE HAS BEEN A COUPLE OF TIMES WHEN I REALLY FELT THE CAR WAS GOING TO SWERVE OUT OF CONTROL IF I DIDN'T IMMEDIATELY SLOW DOWN. I ALSO FEEL A METAL GRINDING SENSATION WITH MY BRAKES WHEN I SLOW DOWN OVER UNEVEN PAVEMENT OR GO OVER A SPEED BUMP. THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN EVERY TIME BUT IN THE PAST 2 MONTHS THAT I'VE HAD THE CAR IT OCCURRED 6 TIMES. I TOLD THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP ABOUT THESE PROBLEMS AND THEY SAID IT COULDN'T BE DUPLICATED AND THAT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. WHICH IS COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS THERE HASN'T BEEN A TIME THAT I'VE DRIVEN ON THE FREEWAY AND NOT FELT THIS SWAYING. THEY DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO FIND A PROBLEM. THEY DIDN'T DO A THING TO HELP ME. THAN I HEARD OF OTHER COROLLA OWNERS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS. SO I KNOW IT'S NOT JUST ME, THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH MY CAR AND THEY NEED TO RECOGNIZE THEY MADE ANOTHER MISTAKE. *TR
BOUGHT NEW DEC 18, 2009. TOYOTA COROLLA LE 14 MILES. WHEN YOU GO TO STOP AT A RED LIGHT OR STOP SIGN. THE ENGINE SOME TIMES ACTS LIKE IT IS GOING TO STALL. YOU TOUCH THE BRAKES JUST AS YOU COME TO A DEAD STOP. THE ENGINE RPMS WILL DROP TO ABOUT 300 RPMS THE ENGINE WILL SHUTTER ALL MOST DIE AND THEN GO BACK TO NORMAL RPMS ABOUT 500 TO 600 HUNDRED. THIS IS AN INTERMITTENT PROBLEM. YOU CAN NOT MAKE THE CAR DO THIS. YOU MAY DRIVE IT 5 TIMES AND IT WILL NOT DO ANYTHING LIKE THAT. YOU DRIVE IT THE NEXT TIME AND IT WILL DO IT THREE TIMES IN A ROLL WHEN YOU STOP. IT HAS DONE THIS FROM THE TIME IT WAS NEW. *TR
COROLLA 2010 HAS MAJOR ISSUES BEING KEPT IN A STRAIGHT LINE AT SPEEDS OVER 55 OR SO. *TR
WHEN I AM DRIVING ON THE HIGH WAY, MY STEERING WHEEL BECOMES VERY SENSITIVE AND STARTS JERKING AND MY CAR STARTS VEERING TO ONE SIDE. I HAVE TO GRAB THE STEERING WHEEL VERY TIGHTLY JUST TO TRAVEL IN A STRAIGHT LINE. I FEEL LIKE I'M DRIVING IN A HURRICANE BUT THE TREES OUTSIDE ARE BARELY MOVING. *TR
I OWN A 2010 COROLLA-IT IS AT THE DEALER AGAIN. NOW I HAVE HEARD THERE MIGHT BE A PROBLEM. I WAS TAKING MY CAR TO THE DEALER BEFORE ANY OF THIS NEWS CAME OUT-ASKING THEM TO CHECK THE FRONT END. I PURCHASED A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA IN DECEMBER. DURING THE TEST DRIVE I COMMENTED THAT THE STEERING FELT FUNNY, BUT THE DEALER AND I CHALKED IT UP TO THE ROAD CONDITIONS. I CONTINUE TO OBSERVE THAT THE CAR IS WEAVING BACK AND FORTH ESPECIALLY ON THE FREEWAY. NOW THAT I KNOW THAT THIS IS A REAL SAFETY ISSUE, COUPLED WITH THE GAS PEDAL ISSUE, I WILL BE CONTACTING THE DEALER. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA. SHE STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH THE STEERING WHEEL EXHIBITS A JERKING MOTION. THE FAILURE OCCURS EVERY TIME THE VEHICLE IS DRIVEN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER 24 HOURS THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. SHE HAS HAD TWO OTHER PEOPLE DRIVE THE VEHICLE WHO CONFIRMED THAT THEY ALSO EXPERIENCED THE STEERING WHEEL MALFUNCTION. THERE HAVE BEEN NO REPAIRS DONE TO THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 260 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 1559.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA. WHILE DRIVING AT LEAST 55 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD NOT REMAIN IN A STRAIGHT POSITION. OCCASIONALLY, THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD PULL TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT DIRECTION WITHOUT DRIVER INTENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER, NO REPAIRS HAVE BEEN MADE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 3,000.
2010 TOYOTA COROLLA - THE CAR HAS POOR STEERING. IT DRIFTS ALL OVER THE HIGHWAY. REQUIRES CONSTANT CORRECTION LIKE I AM DRIVING IN HEAVY WINDS. I BROUGHT IT INTO A TOYOTA DEALER AND THEY CLAIM THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. THEY SAY I NEED TO GET USED TO ELCTRONIC ASSISTED STEERING. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING IT FOR FOUR MONTHS NOW, AND I CANNOT "GET USED TO IT".
I BOUGHT A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA AND HAD THE PEDAL STICKING TWICE IN COLD WEATHER . WHEN TAKEN TO THE DEALER SHIP I WAS ADVISED THAT EVERYTHING WAS FINE AND I ASK IF THEY HAD ANY PROBLEMS . I WAS TOLD NO IN FACT THEY DID NOT EVEN BOTHER TAKING DOWN MY COMPLAINT. I AGAIN RETURNED TO THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP AFTER THE STORY BROKE ON THE NEWS. I AM NOW BEING TOLD THAT IT ONLY EFFECTS SOME CAMRY AND NOT THE COROLLA. I FEEL THAT TOYOTA HAS GONE OUT OF ITS WAY TO HIDE THIS FROM THE PUBLIC. FURTHER THE LAST TIME THE PEDAL STUCK I WAS ON THE HIGH WAY GOING 50 MPH. AND HAD TO PUT IT IN NEUTRAL AND PUMP THE PEDAL UNTIL IT RETURNED TO NORMAL. AGAIN PLEASE NOT THAT THIS INFORMATION WAS GIVEN TO THEM BEFORE IT WAS MADE PUBLIC IN THE NEWS.AFTER I BECAME AWARE OF THE NEWS . I TOOK IT BACK TO THEM AND THIS TIME THEY HAVE NO WAY TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I HOPE THAT THE NHTSA LOOK INTO HOW MANY PEOPLE BROUGHT THIS TO TOYOTA ATTENTION ONLY TO BE TOLD THERE WAS NOT A PROBLEM , HOW MANY PEOPLE DIED OR HAVE BEEN HURT BECAUSE TOYOTA TRIED TO HIDE THE PROBLEM. CARS ALIGNMENT IS OUT OF WHACK. WHILE DRIVING THE CAR WILL TURN ON IT OWN TO THE RIGHT OR LEFT REPORTED IT TO TOYOTA AND THEY SAID WE CANT DO ANYTHING. *TR
CAR WONDERS WHILE DRIVING ON A STRAIGHT ROAD OR HIGHWAY, USUALLY ABOUT 40 MPH OR FASTER, CONSTANT FEELING OF DRIFTING (FEELS LIKE THERE IS A STRONG CROSSWIND BLOWING THE CAR AROUND.) TIRE PRESSURE IS PROPER AS STATED ON DOOR JAM, AS WELL MAKES NO DIFFERENCE IN STEERING IF TIRE PRESSURE IS LOWER OR HIGHER. *TR
MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING HER NEW COROLLA (2010) HOME FROM COLLEGE IN DECEMBER 2009. WHEN SHE GOT HOME SHE WAS EXTREMELY UPSET AND TOLD ME THAT SHE HAD ENCOUNTERED A STEERING PROBLEM WITH THE CAR ON HER WAY HOME -- SHE COULDN'T KEEP THE CAR CENTERED ON THE HIGHWAY AS THE CAR KEPT MOVING TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT. ABOUT TWO WEEKS LATER (DECEMBER 2009) I WAS DRIVING THE CAR AT ABOUT 65 MPH DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND COULD NOT KEEP THE CAR ON CENTER. IT FELT LIKE I WAS CAUGHT IN A TERRIBLE CROSSWIND, MOVING ME FROM LEFT TO RIGHT AS I TRIED TO STAY ON CENTER. I ENDED UP HAVING TO KEEP BOTH HANDS ON THE STEERING WHEEL JUST TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE CAR. IT WAS THE SAME PROBLEM MY DAUGHTER HAD EXPERIENCED. IN MY 30 YEARS OF DRIVING I HAVE NEVER HAD AN EXPERIENCE LIKE THAT BEFORE. IT DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE A PROBLEM AT LOWER SPEEDS JUST HIGHWAY SPEEDS AND, TO DATE, THIS PROBLEM HAS ONLY HAPPENED THOSE TWO TIMES. *TR
AT SPEED IT IS DIFFICULT TO STEER AND CONTROL MY 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA S. IT "DRIFTS" FROM SIDE-TO-SIDE. IF I DO NOT USE BOTH HANDS, THE CAR DRIFTS FROM THE LANE MARKER, AND AT TIMES INTO THE NEXT LANE (TO MY LEFT). I HAVE TO OVERCOMPENSATE AND CORRECT TO THE RIGHT SO THAT I DO NOT STRIKE SOMEONE. THE STEERING FEELS VERY LOOSE. I FIRST NOTICED THIS CHARACTERISTIC A FEW WEEKS AFTER PURCHASE (APPROXIMATELY 12-20-09. THEIR IS NOT ONE PARTICULAR INCIDENT, BUT RATHER IT IS A PERSISTENT CHARACTERISTIC OF THE STEERING. *TR
2010 TOYOTA COROLLA "S" PURCHASED BY MY WIFE IN JULY 2009, WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION . SHE DRIVES THE CAR ONLY LOCALLY ON SUBURBAN STREETS, AT SPEEDS LESS THAN 45 MPH, AND HAS PLACED LESS THAN 3000 MILES ON THE CAR IN 7 MONTHS. RECENTLY WE TOOK THE CAR FOR A 'ROAD TRIP' OF ABOUT 175 MILES EACH WAY, WITH ME DRIVING. PROBLEMS WITH OUR TOYOTA COROLLA STEERING DOES NOT FEEL RIGHT BRAKES ARE NOT RIGHT ACCERATOR PEDAL RECALL I HAVE CALLED TOYOTA AND I GET NO RESEULTS FROM MY PROBLEMS. MY WIFE DOES'NT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR. I WANT TOYOTA TO TAKE THIS CAR BACK.THEY HAVE TOLD US NO WAY.CAR HAS ONLY 6,000MILES ON IT. *TR
BOUGHT NEW COROLLA 2010 FOR MY WIFE ABOUT THREE MONTHS AGO. I THOUGHT RIGHT FROM THE FIRST DRIVE THAT ITS STEERING WHEEL WAS VERY SENSITIVE, THAT IS, EVEN SMALL MOTIONS OF THE STEERING WHEEL APPEAR TO GET AMPLIFIED TO RELATIVELY LARGER DIRECTIONAL CHANGES ON THE MOVING CAR. HOWEVER, MY WIFE DID NOT THINK SO. TYPICALLY, HOWEVER, SHE DRIVES IT AT SLOW SPEEDS, LIKE, AT MOST 40 MPH, AS SHE AVOIDS HIGHWAYS. WE HAVE NEVER DRIVEN IT AT HIGHER SPEEDS LIKE 65-70 MPH WHERE I UNDERSTAND SOME OTHER COROLLAS START MEANDERING. I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS THE SAME PROBLEM I AM DESCRIBING ABOVE. BUT AFTER HAVING READ ABOUT SIMILAR PROBLEMS TO 2010 COROLLAS, WHICH ARE RECENTLY SO MUCH IN THE NEWS, I THOUGHT WE SHOULD REPORT IT TOO. *TR
I HAVE A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA, BUT BECAUSE I LIVE IN TEXAS, I AM NOT PART OF THE RECALL TO HAVE A NEWLY DESIGNED INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR TO RELOCATE THE BRAKE SYSTEM VACUUM PORT. I AM AFRAID THAT IF I GO TO COLORADO THIS WINTER AS PLANNED, I WILL HAVE BRAKE FAILURE. WHY DOES THE RECALL NOT EXTEND TO ALL 2010 TOYOTA COROLLAS??? *TR
