BOUGHT 2010 COROLLA IN SEPT 2009, NEW FROM FACTORY. NOTICED THE STEERING WHEEL SEEMED VERY LOOSE AND UNRESPONSIVE FROM THE DAY WE TOOK POSSESSION. TOLD SALESPERSON WHO SAID IT WAS 'NORMAL'. NEWS MEDIA NOW REPORTS STEERING ISSUES WITH 2010 COROLLAS - FILING COMPLAINT TO REGISTER WITH ODI. NO CRASH OCCURRED, BUT STEERING SHOULD NOT BE THAT LOOSE ON A NEW CAR. PLANNING TO TAKE INTO DEALER NEXT MONTH FOR EVAL. *TR
I PURCHASED MY TOYOTA COROLLA LE 2010 IN AUGUST 2009. WE FOUND THE STEERING WHEEL WAS NOT ALIGNED PROPERLY AND THE VEHICLE SOMETIMES SKIPPED/SHIFTED ON FREEWAY. WE REPORTED THIS TO TOYOTA BEFORE THEIR MASSIVE RECALL. WE TOOK IT TO STERLING MCCALL TOYOTA IN HOUSTON SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY INSISTED THERE WAS NO ALIGNMENT PROBLEM, EVEN A THIRD-PARTY MECHANICS INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND IDENTIFIED THERE WAS ALIGNMENT PROBLEM. THE STEERING WHEEL HAS TO BE PLACED SLANTED TO THE LEFT SIDE IN ORDER FOR THE VEHICLE TO GO STRAIGHT. IT WAS SO OBVIOUS THAT ANYONE YOU CAN NOTICE IT. THE CAR DEALER AND THE TOYOTA US HEADQUARTER TOLD US THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. THIS HAS BE A SECURITY CONCERN AND WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE WITH TOYOTA BUT HAS FAILED TO. I URGE NHTSA TO INVESTIGATE THIS MATTER TO ENSURE CONSUMER SAFETY. *TR
OWN A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA S VEHICLE AND THE STEERING IS HORRIBLE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THE VEHICLE TRACKS FROM LEFT TO RIGHT WITH THE SLIGHTEST COMPENSATION CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO ALMOST JERK IN THE COMPENSATED DIRECTION. THIS VEHICLES STEERING IS DANGEROUS AND I HAVE SEVERAL FRIENDS THAT ARE COMPLAINING OF THE SAME ISSUE. I CONTACTED MY DEALERS SERVICE REP AND WAS BASICALLY TOLD THIS IS NORMAL WITH A CHUCKLE. MY VEHICLE NOW HAS 2000 MILES ON IT ALMOST ALL INTERSTATE MILES. TOYOTA NEEDS TO FIX THIS ISSUE. I WILL BE PRESSING MY DEALER TO BUY THIS VEHICLE BACK. *TR
FOR ENTIRE TIME OWNED - THERE IS A GAP OF SECONDS BETWEEN PRESSING GAS PEDAL AND ACTUAL ACCELERATION. WHEN I PRESS GAS PEDAL THERE IS A HESITATION LEADING ME TO PRESS HARDER. THEN OF COURSE THE CAR HAS A SUDDEN SPRINT IN ACCELERATION. THIS IS NOT SAFE. I HAVE HAD THE CAR FOR 5.5 MONTHS SO I AM GETTING BETTER AT WAITING INSTEAD OF PRESSING HARDER. BUT I FEEL THIS IS DEFINITELY A DEFECT. I INQUIRED OVER PHONE WITH SERVICE MANAGER WHERE I PURCHASED - EXPLANATION: I AM NOT USE TO A 4 CYLINDER, WHICH I BELIEVED BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER DRIVEN A 4 CYLINDER. 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA - TRUNK FALLING ON MY HEAD AS I TRIED TO TAKE OUT GROCERIES FROM THE TRUNK. IT HAS HAPPENED 4 TIMES; 2 TIMES FOR ME, ONCE ON MY DAUGHTER AND ONCE ON MY SON. WHEN YOU OPEN THE TRUNK, IT DOES NOT STAY OPEN ESPECIALLY IF THE CAR IS ON AN INCLINE. EVEN ON FLAT SURFACE, IT HAS THE TENDENCY TO CLOSE/SHUT. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA. WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS ENGAGED WHICH TRAVELED TO THE FLOOR. THE VEHICLE FAILED TO SLOW DOWN AND STRUCK A POLE. THE VEHICLE SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGES. THERE WAS NO MENTION OF INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER IN WHICH THERE WERE NO SERVICE REPAIRS PERFORMED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 10,600.
I'VE BEEN DRIVING THIS VEHICLE NOW FOR ALMOST 5 YRS. SINCE THE DAY I GOT INTO IT, THE THING WALKS THE HIGHWAY (40 MPH+) CONTINUALLY. ON A TRIP OVER TWO HOURS, YOU START TO GET EXHAUSTED FROM THE CONTINUOUS WEAVING BACK AND FORTH, LIKE A SIDE WIND KEEPS ALTERNATING FROM LEFT TO RIGHT TO LEFT TO RIGHT ECT... ALIGNMENTS, NEW TIRES, ECT CHANGES NOTHING... SOMETHING IS DEFINITELY WRONG WITH EITHER THE DESIGN OF THE FRONT END, OR THE STEERING. 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA. SUDDEN ACCELERATION *GR THE CONSUMER STATED SINCE PURCHASING THE VEHICLE HE HAS HAD TWO ACCIDENTS DUE TO SUDDEN ACCELERATION. THE CONSUMER STATED HE WAS BACKING OUT OF HIS GARAGE, WHEN HALF WAY DOWN THE DRIVEWAY, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED. HE APPLIED THE BRAKE, BUT THE VEHICLE DID NOT RESPOND. THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO BACK UP IN THE STREET AND WENT ACROSS THE ROAD AND HIT A CURB, WHERE IF FINALLY STOPPED. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE. THE SECOND INCIDENT OCCURRED WHEN THE CONSUMER WAS BACKING OUT OF PARKING SPACE, AND THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED, BUT WHEN HE APPLIED THE BRAKE, NOTHING HAPPENED. INSTEAD, IT KEPT GOING UNTIL HE HIT A TRUCK THAT WAS DOUBLE PARKED BEHIND HIM. AS THE CONSUMER PU THE GEAR INTO PARK, SO HE COULD TALK TO THE OWNER OF THE TRUCK, THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE AGAIN, ALMOST HITTING THE PARK VEHICLE IN FRONT OF THE CONSUMER. AS HE REPEATEDLY APPLIED THE BRAKE TO STOP THE VEHICLE, NOTHING HAPPENED SO HE FORCED THE GEAR TO PARK AND TURNED OFF THE ENGINE AND FINALLY THE VEHICLE STOPPED. THE CONSUMER STATED HIS RIGHT WRIST WAS A LITTLE SORE FROM FORCING THE GEAR INTO PARK AND HE COULDN'T LIFT ANYTHING FOR A DAY OR TWO. JB

SINCE OBTAINING THE VEHICLE IN 2009 BRAND NEW, UPON BREAKING GRADUALLY, IT SURGES FORWARD SLIGHTLY WHEN IT FEELS LIKE IT SHOULD SLOW DOWN. I HAVE BROUGHT THIS ISSUE UP TO MY LOCAL TOYOTA DEALERSHIP WHO DENIED ANY SUCH INCONSISTENCIES. ALSO, THERE HAVE BEEN ELECTRICAL ISSUES FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS WHEN TURNING ON THE RADIO; AFTER PUSHING ANY BUTTON AT ANY TIME, IT WILL RANDOMLY CHANGE THE DISPLAY TO NONSENSE CHARACTERS OR BECOME BLANK.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH WHEN THE CONTACT FELT THE VEHICLE PULLING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP BUT THE CONTACT COULD NOT FIND THE CAUSE FOR FAILURE. SUBSEQUENT VISITS TO THE DEALERSHIP STILL PROVIDED NO REASON FOR THE FAILURE. THE PROBLEM STILL OCCURRED WHEN THE CONTACT DROVE OVER 50 MPH. SHE STATED THAT SHE COULD NOT CONTROL THE VEHICLES STEERING. THE DEALER TOLD HER THAT THE PULLING SENSATION WAS NORMAL AS THE VEHICLE WAS GRIPPING THE ROAD. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 5,400. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 7,600. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
PURCHASED A 2010 COROLLA LAST AUGUST. THE STEERING IS "SLOPPY", "LOOSE" - LIKE THERE'S EXCESSIVE "PLAY" IN THE WHEEL - AND NEEDS CONSTANT CORRECTION, OR THE CAR WILL WANDER ALL OVER THE PLACE. A LONG TRIP IN THIS VEHICLE WOULD BE AN EXHAUSTING ADVENTURE. AND THERE'S ONLY A THOUSAND MILES ON IT. YOU CAN ADD MY NAME TO THE LIST OF OWNERS WHO FEEL THIS PARTICULAR MODEL HAS A STEERING PROBLEM. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL WAS HARD TO CONTROL. WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME DIFFICULT TO CONTROL. HE HAD TO PULL THE STEERING WHEEL BACK AND FORTH IN ORDER FOR IT TO CONTINUE DRIVING IN A STRAIGHT LINE. HE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THE TOW END ALIGNMENT WAS A LITTLE OFF. THE DEALER ALIGNED THE VEHICLE; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,500. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 79,000.
I HAVE A TOYOTA COROLLA 2010 WHICH I BOUGHT IN THE FIRST WEEK OF AUGUST 2009. WHILE I WAS DRIVING TO SACRAMENTO AROUND LAST AUGUST, MY CAR LOST POWER IN THE MIDDLE OF A FREEWAY. I WAS IN THE FAST LANE, AND UNABLE TO OPERATE THE CAR. I REALIZED THAT THE ENGINE WAS NOT THERE, IT WENT OFF, NO POWER AND THE CAR DECREASED ITS SPEED AND FINALLY STOPPED. FORTUNATELY I WAS ABLE TO GET OUT IN THE LEFT EMERGENCE LANE. IF IT WAS A RUSH HOUR AND TRAFFIC WAS BUSY, I WOULD HAVE AN ACCIDENT. FORTUNATELY, THERE WAS NO ACCIDENT. AFTER THINKING FOR 5 MINUTES OR SO, I TURNED ON THE ENGINE AND STARTED DRIVING AGAIN. LAST WEEK I WENT TO TOYOTA DEALER (FOR THE RECALL) AND TOLD MY SITUATION. BUT THEY DIDN'T GIVE MUCH ATTENTION TO MY CONCERNS. I KNOW COME TO REALIZE THAT THIS MAY NOT BE MY PROBLEM AND SOMEONE MAY HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. I NEED HELP HOW THIS HAPPEN AND IF THE PROBLEM OCCURS IN OTHER AREA, PLEASE PREVENT IT HAPPENING AGAIN. SO THAT WE WILL SAVE LIFE. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 TO 35 MPH ON NORMAL ROAD CONDITIONS THE "BRAKE" WARNING LIGHT INDICATOR ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. WHEN PRESSURE WAS APPLIED TO THE BRAKE PEDAL THERE WAS A SLOW RESPONSE. THE DRIVER CONTINUED TO DRIVE WITH CAUTION. THE WARNING INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED UNTIL THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF. THE FOLLOWING DAY THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS CONTRIBUTED TO A LEAK LOCATED ON THE RIGHT CYLINDER. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED UNDER THE SERVICE WARRANTY. THE CONTACT HAD CONCERNS OF THE SAFETY RISK. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 260.
PURCHASED A NEW 2010 COROLLA 4-DOOR SEDAN S; IMMEDIATELY A PROBLEM WITH THE BRAKES AND STEERING WAS NOTICED UPON FIRST LONG DRIVE. WHEN DEPRESSED THE BRAKES WOULD GO ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. STEERING THE CAR IN A STRAIGHT LINE DOWN THE FREEWAY WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT CONSTANT CORRECTIONS, I CALL IT NERVOUS STEERING, WHICH AFTER MORE THAN 50 MILES BECAUSE VERY STRESSFUL AND TIRING. PURCHASE DATE 8-22-09. THE VEHICLE WAS RETURNED TO THE NEAREST TOYOTA DEALERSHIP LOCATED IN VICTORVILLE, CALIFORNIA EARLY SEPT 09. THE BRAKES WERE EXAMINED AND AFTER CERTAIN CORRECTIONS THE BRAKE PEDAL IS BETTER BUT NOT PERFECT. AS FOR THE STEERING..THE TECHNICIAN SAYS IT'S WITHIN NORMAL PARAMETERS...WHAT EVERY THAT MEANS. THERE IS DEFINITELY A DEFECT WITH THE STEERING SYSTEM; AFTER REVIEWING THE VEHICLE BROCHURE REGARDING THE STEERING SYSTEM IT READS "ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) HELPS GIVES COROLLA STEERING RESPONSE THAT'S EFFORTLESSLY ACCURATE" HOWEVER NOTHING COULD MORE FROM THE TRUTH. IT'S BEEN MY EXPERIENCE AFTER 7000 MILES ON THE ODOMETER...THAT WHEN STEERING THE CAR DOWN THE HIGHWAY...THE CAR WILL LITERALLY LEAVE THE LANE YOUR DRIVING IN WHICH REQUIRES STEERING CORRECTION TO KEEP IT IN THE DRIVING LANE YOU'RE TRAVELING. THE BROCHURE FURTHER READS THAT "EPS ALSO ELIMINATES HYDRAULIC-ASSIST COMPONENTS THAT CAN REDUCE FUEL ECONOMY" HOWEVER I WOULD SAY AT WHAT COST...IF THIS NEW SYSTEM RENDERS THE STEERING PROCESS A VERY NERVOUS AND TIRING EXPERIENCE FOR THE DRIVER. A FATIGUED DRIVER IS AN UNSAFE DRIVER...I CREDIT THE FAULT WITH THIS NEW SYSTEM "EPS" AS A POTENTIAL DISASTER WAITING TO HAPPEN. IT'S MY ASSESSMENT AFTER OWNING THIS VEHICLE NOW 6 MONTHS...THAT TOYOTA NEEDS TO REVISIT THIS "EPS" SYSTEM AND CONSIDER RETURNING TO THE FORMER HYDRAULIC-ASSIST COMPONENTS...IT MAY MORE COSTLY FOR THEM TO BUILD...BUT AT LEAST IT WORKED. I BOUGHT THIS CAR BECAUSE IT HAD A REPUTATION FOR SAFETY AND RELIABILITY HOWEVER IT'S BEEN THE ABSOLUTE WORST PURCHASE EVER IMAGINED. *TR

REPEATED PRESSURE WOULD HAVE TO BE APPLIED TO THE BRAKE PEDAL IN ORDER TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT UNKNOWN HIGHWAY SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE WOULD DRIFT FROM LEFT TO RIGHT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER BUT THE FAILURE WAS NOT DUPLICATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 200 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 7,020.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE MADE A SCRATCHING SOUND WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TWICE FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE DEALER REPAIRED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL TWICE ACCORDING TO RECALL CAMPAIGN ID 10V017000, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 700. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 6,700.

MY 2010 COROLLA HAS HAD A STEERING PROBLEM SINCE ITS PURCHASE. IN 50 YEARS OF DRIVING IN OVER 25 NEW VEHICLES, IT IS THE WORST. IT WILL NOT TRACK PROPERLY AT INTERSTATE SPEEDS. IT WANDERS RANDOMLY TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT. NOT ALIGNMENT AND NOT WIND CAUSED. YOU MUST MAKE SMALL CORRECTIONS EVERY SECOND OR TWO TO MAINTAIN A STRAIGHT LINE. PASSING OTHER VEHICLES AT HIGHWAY SPEED IS RISKY. THIS PROBLEM WAS FIRST NOTICED ON I-95 THE DAY I TOOK THE CAR HOME. MY WIFE DID NOT NOTICE IT WHEN SHE DRIVES UNDER 50MPH; BUT IS VERY EVIDENT AT 65-75MPH. IT IS VERY TIRING TO DRIVE THE CAR SINCE YOU MUST REMAIN TOTALLY FOCUSED WITH A FIRM GRIP ON THE STEERING WHEEL AT ALL TIMES SINCE YOU MUST RESPOND TO THE CAR'S RANDOM VEERS TO ONE OR THE OTHER SIDE. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY VEHICLE DO THIS BEFORE. I CAN SEE WHERE AN ACCIDENT WOULD BE VERY POSSIBLE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS WHEN PASSING OR TRAVELING WITH OTHER VEHICLES TO YOUR LEFT OR RIGHT. THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT MUST BE CORRECTED, ALONG WITH THE ACCELERATOR PROBLEM. I HAD PLANNED TO COMPLAIN TO MY TOYOTA DEALER IN ORANGEBURG, SOUTH CAROLINA WHEN I TOOK MY COROLLA IN FOR THE ACCELERATOR RECALL. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AS I HAVE OWNED TOYOTAS BEFORE AND, UNTIL THIS MONTH, WAS PLANNING TO BUY A 2011 TOYOTA TRUCK. THE STEERING PROBLEM IS REAL AND NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED AND CORRECTED. *TR

I PURCHASED A 2010 COROLLA IN AUGUST 2009. I DID NOT TEST DRIVE THE CAR ON THE HIGHWAY BUT RATHER IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD OF THE DEALERSHIP. ONCE I STARTED DRIVING THE CAR ON THE HIGHWAY, I NOTICED THAT THE STEERING SEEMED TOO LOOSE. WHEN I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR 5000 MILE CHECK AND COMPLAINED ABOUT IT, I WAS TOLD THAT THE STEERING MECHANISM WAS FINE. I CONTINUED TO EXPERIENCE DIFFICULTLY DRIVING THE CAR IN SPEEDS GREATER THAN 50 - 55 MILES PER HOUR. I DON'T KNOW HOW ELSE TO DESCRIBE IT BUT IT FEELS LIKE I HAVE LITTLE CONTROL OVER THE CAR. MY CAR WAS ALSO TAKEN TO THE SAME TOYOTA DEALERSHIP FOR THE SAME PROBLEM DURING TIMES IT DID NOT NEED MAINTENANCE AND AFTER TAKING MY ENTIRE BREAK SYSTEM APART AND STILL NOT FINDING ANYTHING, THEY TOLD ME THAT EVERYTHING LOOKED FINE. HOWEVER, THIS WAS NOT THE CASE BECAUSE THE FIRST UNEVEN ROAD I DROVE ON MY BREAKS DID NOT WORK PROPERLY AND THE VSC SYMBOL IMMEDIATELY CAME ON AND MY CAR STARTED MAKING THIS CONSTANT ANNOYING BEEPING SOUND THAT WOULDN'T GO AWAY. THEREFORE I CALLED TOYOTA TELLING THEM ABOUT IT AND THEY SAID TO BRING THE CAR BACK, SO I DID. THEY SAID THEY FOUND A LEAK IN ONE OF MY HOSES. SOMETHING THAT THEIR CAR DIAGNOSTIC COMPUTER NEVER CAUGHT WHEN I INITIALLY COMPLAINED TO TOYOTA ABOUT THIS PROBLEM WHICH EXISTED SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR. AFTER GETTING THE CAR BACK THIS TIME THE PROBLEM SEEMED TO IMPROVE A LITTLE BUT WAS STILL MOVING FORWARD WHEN I WOULD BREAK ON UNEVEN AND ROUGH ROADS.....I ALSO TOLD THE TOYOTA PEOPLE THAT THE BREAK PROBLEM THE PRIUS WAS HAVING SEEMED TO BE THE SAME BRAKE PROBLEM MY COROLLA WAS HAVING. ALTHOUGH I AM AWARE THAT THE BRAKE SYSTEM IN THE PRIUS IS PROBABLY DIFFERENT FROM THAT OF MY COROLLA, BECAUSE THE PRIUS IS A HYBRID. PERHAPS THERE IS A CONNECTION. *TR
BOUGHT BRAND NEW 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA IN MAY 2009. WHEN DRIVING ON FREEWAY FEELS LIKE CAR WILL CHANGE LANE AUTOMATICALLY. ALSO FEELS LIKE DRIVING CAR IN THE WINDY CONDITION. WHEN YOU LEAVE THE STEERING WHEEL, I THINK CAR IS SUPPOSE TO GO STRAIGHT, BUT CAR PULLS EITHER ON RIGHT OR LEFT SIDE. *TR
TAKATA RECALL: I HAVE CALLED AND TALKED 3 OR 4 TIMES TO THE LOCALTOYOTA DEALERSHIP (FOLSOM LAKE TOYOTA, FOLSOM, CA) IN THE LAST YEAR TRYING TO GET MY CAR REPAIRED. THIS LAST WEEK I WAS TOLD THEY HAVE THE PARTS BUT THEY WEREN'T INTERESTED IN HAVING ME BRING THE CAR IN FOR REPAIR.
TL*-THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA. WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH THE BRAKES WERE ENGAGED AND THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED INTO A BRICK WALL. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED OF THE INCIDENT. THERE WAS NO MENTION OF PERSONAL INJURY. THE VEHICLE SUSTAINED DAMAGES. ADDITIONALLY, ON A SEPARATE OCCASION THE VEHICLE FAILED TO STOP DURING BRAKING. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 09V338000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC: POWER ASSIST: VACUUM). THE RECALL DEFECT RELATED TO THE PRIOR FAILURES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. DEALER THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 63. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 28,532.
