I BOUGHT A 2006 RAV4 OVER THE WEEKEND AND THE UNDERINFLATION LIGHT IS ON. I CHECKED THE 4 TIRES ON THE GROUND AND THEY WERE ALL OK. I DECIDED TO CHECK THE SPARE AND AFTER ABOUT 30-45 MINUTES OF FRUSTRATION, I GAVE UP TRYING TO REMOVE THE COVER. I CALLED SERVICE AND THE TECH SAID, SOMETHING LIKE, "YEAH, THOSE ARE HARD TO GET OFF AND EVEN HARDER TO GET BACK ON." ANYWAY, THIS IS THE COVER WITH THE HARD SHELL AND THE VINYL WITH ELASTIC AROUND THE BACK--IT DOES NOT HAVE THE LATCH. I FINALLY GOT THE VINYL COMPLETELY PULLED TOWARDS THE BACK AND AROUND THE HARD SHELL BUT I YANKED, PULLED AND PRIED AND COULDN'T GET THE HARD SHELL TO BUDGE. IT WAS COLD IN THE GARAGE AND MY HANDS PROBABLY WEREN'T WORKING SO WELL BUT IT SHOULD BE EASIER. THE QUESTION IS: WHAT IF I HAVE A FLAT TIRE WHILE IN HIGHWAY, FIRST OF ALL REMOVING THIS COVER IS NOT EASY AT ALL FOR MEN, WHAT ABOUT WOMEN? ALSO, STOPPING ON THE HIGHWAY SHOULDER FOR LONG TIME TRYING TO REMOVE THIS COVER IS NOT A SAFE OPTION. I SAW ANOTHER RAV4 WITH THE SAME SHAPE OF THIS COVER BUT WITHOUT THIS VINYL. IT'S LIKE A BODY FROM BACK AND THE SHELL CAP OVER IT. THIS ONE TAKES LESS THAN A MINUTE TO REMOVE IT. I BELIEVE THAT TOYOTA SHOULD RECALL THIS TYPE OF SPARE TIRE COVER AND CHANGE IT WITH THE NEWEST BODY AND SHELL ONE. *TR
OIL COMPSUMTION RECALL HAS NOT BEEN HONORED.
10/26/15 WAS SERVICED BY GERMAIN TOYOTA, NAPLES, FL, OIL TANK WAS EMPTY AND ENGINE WAS OVERHEATED. THE CAR HAD BEEN DRIVEN 3711 MILES SINCE LAST OIL CHANGE (THERE WAS NO LEAK). I PUT A QUART OF OIL IN SO THAT I COULD DRIVE IT TO THE DEALER. THEY PERFORMED THEIR VERSION OF AN OIL CONSUMPTION TEST AND CLAIMED IT PASSED THE TEST. 3/11/16 OIL TANK WAS EMPTY AND CAR WAS OVERHEATED. IT HAD BEEN DRIVEN 2496 MILES SINCE THE PREVIOUS OIL CHANGE. THEY SAID IT HAD PASSED THE PREVIOUS TEST & ALL WAS OK. 10/7/16 OIL TANK WAS EMPTY, HAD BEEN DRIVEN BUT I HAD PURCHASED 3 QTS OF OIL AND ADDED IT TO THE EMPTY TANK. PRIOR TO ME ADDING THE OIL, CAR WAS EXTREMELY OVERHEATED AND I GOT BURNED TRYING TO GET THE HOOD UP. I COULD NOT TOUCH ANY PART OF THE ENGINE OR WOULD HAVE BEEN SEVERELY BURNED. THE CAR NOW FAILED A NEW OIL CONSUMPTION TEST. THEY ADVISED THEY COULD NOT FIX IT BECAUSE AS OF 4/3/2016 IT WAS OUT OF THE THEIR EXTENDED 10-YR WARRANTY FOR OIL CONSUMPTION PROBLEM. THEY TOLD ME IT IS NOW MY RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTINUALLY ADD OIL. IF A SAFETY HAZARD SHOULD OCCUR THEY SAID IT WOULD BE MY FAULT AND NOT THEIRS. IN ALL CASES ABOVE THE ENGINE WAS ON, VEHICLE IN MOTION ON CITY STREETS WHEN THE INDICATOR LIGHT CAME ON OR CAR OVERHEATED. THERE WAS NO OIL ON THE DIP STICK WHEN CHECKED IN EVERY ONE OF THE CASES.

TOYOTA SENT ME A RECALL NOTICE (NHTSA RECALL # 16V-596) IN EARLY OCTOBER 2016 SAYING I NEEDED TO BRING MY RAV4 IN TO INSPECT AND REPAIR THE REAR LOWER SUSPENSION ARM DO TO POSSIBLE EQUIPMENT FAILURE "RESULTING IN LOSS OF CONTROL AND INCREASED RISK OF A CRASH". I CALLED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND THEY SAID THE PARTS WERE NOT IN YET. I HAVE CALLED BACK EVERY MONTH FOR THE PAST 8 MONTHS AND THEY SAY THE PARTS ARE ON BACK ORDER WITH NO ETA. THIS SEEMS EXCESSIVE AND RIDICULOUS. IF THIS IS TRULY A SAFETY ISSUE, WHY DOESN'T TOYOTA MAKE NEW PARTS OR SEND OUT A LETTER SAYING THIS WAS NO BIG DEAL AND THERE IS NOT A REAL SAFETY CONCERN. DRIVING AROUND FOR 8 MONTHS WORRYING ABOUT A SUSPENSION FAILURE AND POSSIBLE ACCIDENT IS CAUSING MY PTSD TO FLAIR UP. I WOULD LIKE AN OFFICIAL RESPONSE FROM A TOYOTA EXECUTIVE EXPLAINING WHY THEY ARE TAKING SO LONG TO GET A SIMPLE PART AND GIVE ME SOME ASSURANCE THAT THEIR RECALL IS NOT JUST A JOKE.

2006 TOYOTA RAV 4. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO DISAPPOINTMENT WITH ALTERNATOR REPAIR WORK AT DEALERSHIP. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED SHE DID NOT THINK SHE NEEDED AN ALTERNATOR REPLACEMENT. AFTER THE ALTERNATOR WAS REPLACED, THE BATTERY LIGHT ILLUMINATED. ACCORDING TO THE INVOICE, THE DEALER REPLACED THE SHORT ENGINE BLOCK. THE DEALER NOT CHARGE THE CONSUMER FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE ALTERNATOR AND ENGINE SHORT BLOCK. HOWEVER, THERE WAS A CHARGE FOR AN ENGINE GASKET AND CYLINDER. *JB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 TOYOTA RAV4. THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMAL LOUD NOISE PROGRESSING FROM THE AREA OF THE STEERING WHEEL WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION, REVERSING, OR MAKING A TURN. THE DEALER TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE, BUT WAS UNABLE TO REPLICATE THE FAILURE. FURTHER DIAGNOSTIC TESTING WAS REQUIRED. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC ALSO INSPECTED THE VEHICLE, BUT PROVIDED NO SPECIFIC DIAGNOSIS TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS UNCERTAIN IF THE VEHICLE WOULD BE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 111,000. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
UNSAFE DEFECTS MALFUNCTION
ON AUGUST 11, 2016, TOYOTA ANNOUNCED A RECALL FOR REAR SUSPENSION NHTSA 16V596 TO AGAIN REPLACE REAR SUSPENSION ARMS AND THEN EPOXY THEM TO PREVENT CORROSION. THIS DENIES THE OWNER TO ALIGN THE REAR WHEELS IN THE FUTURE. TOYOTA AND OTHER MANUFACTURERS HAVE BEEN BUILDING CARS FOR YEARS THAT HAVE NOT REQUIRED EPOXYING OF PARTS TO PREVENT CORROSION SO WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE. HAS TOYOTA USED INFERIOR MATERIALS? ISN'T THERE SOME WAY FOR TOYOTA TO MAKE THE REPAIR AND STILL ALLOW FOR PROPER ALIGNMENT EVEN IF IT COSTS A SMALL AMOUNT MORE? IMPROPER ALIGNMENT WILL RESULT IN INCREASED TIRE WEAR AND DECREASED FUEL ECONOMY AND POSSIBLY DECREASED CONTRO WHILE DRIVING. MY CAR NOW HAS 91,500 MILE ON IT AND I INTEND TO KEEP IT FOR MANY YEARS. WHY SHOULD I BE DENIED THE ABILITY TO PROPERLY MAINTAIN THE CAR?

SUSPENSION RECALL BY TOYOTA DEALERSHIP KEEPS ON BEING DELAYED. DEALER CONTINUES TO USE THE EXCUSE THAT THE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AND ARE SLOW TO TAKE ACTION.
TOYOTA DEFECTS MALFUNCTIONING
WHILE DRIVING EAST ON I-490 FROM ROCHESTER TO I-90, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE ENGINE WAS MISFIRING. WE EXITED THE FREEWAY AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STARTED TO FLASH, THE ENGINE SPUTTERED AND DIED. I PUT THE CAR IN NEUTRAL AND PARKED ON THE RIGHT CURB. FORTUNATELY THIS HAPPENED ON A CITY STREET AND NOT ON THE FREEWAY. POWER STEERING WAS OF COURSE LOST, SO THE MANEUVER WAS DIFFICULT. AAA TOWED THE CAR TO OUR REPAIR SHOP, AND THEY REPORTED 24 ENGINE CODES WERE THROWN, AND RECOMMENDED A COMPLETE ENGINE TUNE-UP, INCLUDING REPLACEMENT OF THE SIX IGNITION COIL PACKS, SPARK PLUGS, AND INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKETS. MUCH OF THE $1,000 EXPENSE WAS 4.5 HOURS OF LABOR, TO REMOVE THE INTAKE MANIFOLD (NECESSARY TO REACH THE REAR BANK OF CYLINDERS 1,3,5). THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME THE IGNITION COILS HAVE FAILED ON THIS VEHICLE. IN OCTOBER 2012 (AROUND 50K MILES) ENGINE CODE P0354 WAS THROWN, AND I REPLACED THE COIL ON CYLINDER 4. IN JANUARY 2014 (AROUND 58K MILES) CODE P0356 WAS THROWN, AND I REPLACED THE COIL ON CYLINDER 6. SINCE THE DANGEROUS INCIDENT OF LOST POWER AND REPLACEMENT OF ALL SIX COILS ON 14 JUNE 2016 (AROUND 80K MILES) ONLY NINE MONTHS AND 7K MILES LATER, CODE P0351 (BAD COIL ON CYLINDER 1) WAS THROWN ON 24 MARCH 2017, AND NOW CODE P0355 (CYLINDER 5) WAS THROWN ON 28 MARCH 2017. I HAVE ALREADY SPENT AROUND $1,200 TO DEAL WITH THIS PROBLEM, AND THE CAR IS TODAY BACK IN THE REPAIR SHOP TO HAVE TWO REAR BANK COILS REPLACED, FOR $229. THERE IS CLEARLY SOMETHING WRONG WHEN THESE COILS ARE FAILING UNDER NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS, ESPECIALLY AFTER ONLY 7K MILES. THIS IS NOT JUST A PROBLEM FOR US. OTHER REPAIR SHOPS HAVE SAID THIS ERA OF RAV4 IS KNOWN FOR THIS PROBLEM. WHILE SITTING IN SLOW 5-10MPH TRAFFIC ON THE FREEWAY, THE POWER STEERING SEIZED AND THE AIRBAG DASHBOARD WARNING LIGHT CAME ON AT THE SAME TIME (FOR ABOUT 2-3 SECONDS AT A TIME). A FEW MILES LATER, OTHER WARNING LIGHTS (VSC, SLIP, ABS, ENGINE, BATTERY) ALL ILLUMINATED ON AND OFF RANDOMLY. TOOK IT TO THE MECHANIC TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT. THEY REPLACED THE BATTERY, BUT THE PROBLEM HAPPENED AGAIN ABOUT 12 HOURS LATER. THE ALTERNATOR IS A YEAR OLD AND THE BATTERY, TIRES, ALIGNMENT, AND ENGINE COILS ARE ALL BRAND NEW. AFTER HALF A DOZEN CALLS TO THE DEALERSHIP, COME TO FIND OUT, THE PROBLEM IS THE COMPUTER THAT CONTROLS THE POWER STEERING... A PROBLEM WHICH HAS BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED AND RECALLED FOR 2014-15 MODEL YEAR RAV4S. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY FLAW, AND IT IS INSULTING AND NEGLIGENT THAT TOYOTA IS PRETENDING THIS ISN'T A SERIOUS PROBLEM FOR OTHER MODEL YEARS.

DRIVER SIDE SUN VISOR, WON'T STAY UP, BLOCKS MY VIEW WHEN I'M DRIVING, HAVE TO DUCK DOWN TO SEE FARTHER THAN THE FRONT OF MY RAV4......IT SEEMS THERE IS A LOT OF PEOPLE THIS HAS HAPPENED TO, THAT THE SUN VISOR GAVE OUT, I THINK THIS IS A DRIVING HAZARD, SINCE IT BLOCKS A GOOD PORTION OF YOUR VIEW WHILE DRIVING.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 TOYOTA RAV4. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V689000 (VISIBILITY); HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
2006 TOYOTA RAV 4. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE ENGINE PROBLEMS. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE FAILED WHILE BEING DRIVEN. IT WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE A HOLE WAS DISCOVERED IN THE ENGINE. THE CONSUMER REQUESTED TO BE ADVISED ON HOW A HOLE COULD FORM IN THE ENGINE. THE CONSUMER HAD THE ENGINE REPLACED. *JS
HEAR CLUNK TYPE NOISE WHEN TURN IN THE STEERING WHEEL LEFT OR RIGHT
PURCHASED VEHICLE IN NOVEMBER 2015 WITH THE NOISE/ISSUE ALREADY OCCURRING. IT IS A POPPING/CLICKING WHEN TURNING LEFT OR RIGHT WITH STEERING WHEEL. HAD DIAGNOSIS DONE AT REPAIR SHOP. IT IS THE INTERMEDIATE DRIVE SHAFT THAT IS WORN/DEFECTIVE. TOYOTA HAS HAD KNOWN TSB'S ON THIS PART SINCE 2008, BUT REGARDLESS OF SAFETY CONCERNS, REFUSES TO REPLACE OR REIMBURSE.
SUDDEN ACCELERATION WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STARTED. WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STARTED AFTER A HUMID NIGHT, THE ENGINE GOES TO FULL POWER WITHOUT DEPRESS OF THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. WHEN THE ENGINE IS SHUT DOWN AND RESTARTED THE SITUATION IS CLEARED. THIS A SAFETY CONCERN AS THE VEHICLE IS OUT OF CONTROL IF PUT IN GEAR. THIS CONDITION HAS HAPPENED 5 TIMES IN THE LAST 60 DAYS. I CONTACTED TOYOTA AND AM NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THEIR DIRECTION BASED ON THE SAFETY CONCERN.
ENGINE MADE KNOCKING NOISE WHILE ON THE FREEWAY, AND THEN THE CAR DIED - EVERYTHING QUIT. HAD TO COAST OFF THE NEAREST EXIT. THERE WAS NO WARNING - NO MAINTENANCE REQUIRED LIGHTS WERE LIT ON THE DASH. STILL HAD ANOTHER ALMOST 2,000 MILES TO GO BEFORE NEXT OIL CHANGE WAS DUE. ENGINE IS DEAD. PER TOYOTA "CATASTROPHIC INTERNAL DAMAGE FROM THE RODS." CAR WAS WELL TAKEN CARE OF, NEVER MISSED AN OIL CHANGE, AND 8 OF THE LAST 9 YEARS, THE CAR WAS LOYALLY SERVICED AT A TOYOTA DEALERSHIP.
2006 TOYOTA RAV 4. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO GAS PEDAL ISSUES. *SMD THE CONSUMER WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT, BECAUSE THE ACCELERATOR BECAME STUCK AND DID NOT RELEASE. CONSEQUENTLY, THE CONSUMER HIT A TREE. *JB
THIS COMPLAINT IS DUE TO A RECALL: WARRANTY ENHANCEMENT NOTIFICATION ZE7 CONCERNING EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION. A TOYOTA DEALERSHIP TESTED MY CAR ON 8/27/15 AND IT FAILED. I WAS ADVISED TO KEEP CHECKING & ADDING OIL AS NEEDED AND I WOULD BE NOTIFIED WHEN THE PARTS ARRIVED TO CORRECT THIS. WHEN I CALLED TODAY, 2/2/16, THEY STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED PARTS FOR RAV4, I AM VERY UPSET THAT IT'S TAKING SO MANY MONTHS AND I'M RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS PROBLEM IN THE MEANTIME. I FEEL AS IF I'M DRIVING A TIME BOMB AND IT'S VERY BOTHERSOME TO KEEP CHECKING THE LEVEL.
THE INTERMEDIATE STEERING SHAFT ON THE RAV4 IS A KNOWN ISSUE AND SHOULD BE RECALLED. THE CLUNKING NOISE WHEN YOU TURN CAN DEGRADE INTO A STEERING HAZARD.
ABOUT 8/13/15, MY AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON. ON 8/20/15, I HAD A DEALER DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. THEY TOLD ME THAT THE SPIRAL CABLE IS NOT WORKING AND MY AIRBAG WILL MOST LIKELY NOT DEPLOY IF I AM IN AN ACCIDENT. WHEN I WENT ONLINE TO SEE WHAT THE SPIRAL CABLE IS MANY RECALL NOTICES FOR MY MAKE AND MODEL OF CAR BEGAN TO SHOW UP IN THE SEARCH ENGINE. THE WAY THAT THE SERVICE PERSON DESCRIBED THE PROBLEM TO ME IS EXACTLY WHAT IS DOCUMENTED IN THE RECALL NOTICES, BUT MY CAR IS NOT COVERED BY THE RECALL. I HAVE TALKED WITH BOTH THE DEALER AND A HAVE GOTTEN TO A SUPERVISOR AT TOYOTA, BUT AM STILL WAITING TO HEAR BACK WHETHER THEY ARE WILLING TO DO ANYTHING. I HAVE ALSO NOTICED IN MANY CHAT ROOMS THAT MANY OTHER RAV4 OWNERS HAVE HAD THE PROBLEM OUTSIDE OF THE RECALL. WHEN I LOOK AT DOCUMENTS ON THE NHTSA WEBSITE, THERE IS A DOCUMENT FROM TOYOTA CALLED PART 573, DEFECT INFORMATION REPORT. ON THIS DOCUMENT THE VIN NUMBERS THAT ARE AFFECTED ARE LISTED. MY VIN SEEMS TO FIT, AND I AM NOT SURE WHY MY CAR IS NOT PART OF THE RECALL. I AM DOCUMENTING MY ISSUES IN THE HOPES THAT OTHERS WILL TOO AND THE RECALL WILL BE EXPANDED TO INCLUDE MY CAR.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO KERRY TOYOTA (6050 HOPEFUL CHURCH RD, FLORENCE, KY 41042, 859-371-3939) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 200,000.
THE 2006 RAV4 MODEL TOYOTA HAS A RECORD OF STUCK OR CLOGGED OIL RINGS CAUSING EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION WHICH CAN LEAD TO FAILURE OF ENGINE AND CATALYTIC CONVERTER. THIS DEFECT CAUSES OIL TO BURN AT A RATE OF APPROXIMATELY 1 QUART OR MORE EVERY 1,000 MILES. MY RAV4 WAS BROUGHT TO THE DEALERSHIP ON 7/16/2015 TO PERFORM THE FIRST PHASE OF AN OIL INSPECTION & CONSUMPTION TEST. ON 8/4/2015 THE VEHICLE WAS BROUGHT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR RE-INSPECTION. IT FAILED THE CONSUMPTION TEST & I WAS TOLD THAT AS SOON AS PARTS BECAME AVAILABLE I'D BE CONTACTED; HOWEVER, THERE WERE SEVERAL CUSTOMERS AHEAD OF ME AWAITING THE SAME REPAIR. TWO MONTHS HAVE PASSED & I HAVE YET TO HEAR BACK FROM THE DEALERSHIP AS TO WHEN THE REPAIR CAN HAPPEN. I CALLED THE SERVICE MANAGER 10/2/2015. THE SERVICE MANAGER TOLD ME HE WOULD LOOK INTO THE MATTER & RETURN MY CALL IN 15 MINUTES. HE NEVER CALLED BACK. TOYOTA HAS ONLY ISSUED A TSB ABOUT THIS ISSUE TO DEALERS/MECHANICS, THUS OWNERS MAY NOT BE AWARE THAT OIL IS BEING BURNED OFF AS THE EXCESS SMOKE IS ABSORBED BY THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER, WHICH CAUSES CAUSES PREMATURE FAILURE OF THAT PAR AS WELL. THIS NEEDS TO BE A RECALL ITEM. IF A CAR DOING 70MPH HAS AN ENGINE FAILURE DUE TO LOSS OF OIL THEN THE PERSON WILL LOOSE STEERING AND BRAKE CONTROL LEADING TO A SERIOUS ACCIDENT OR DEATH. THIS IS A MECHANICAL ISSUE AS WELL AS A SAFETY ISSUE.
ON 7/2 AFTERNOON AROUND 4:20, AFTER PICKING UP PARCEL FROM POST OFFICE DOWNTOWN HIGH POINT, NC WITH WIFE, WHILE DRIVING BACK HOME , SPEED ABOUT 25 MPH, MY SIDED AIRBAG DEPLOYED, NO CRASH OR ACCIDENT, NO WARNING LIGHT WAS ON BEFOREHAND, PULLED TO VANN YOKE TOYOTA AT HIGH POINT AND THEY SAID THEY WILL OPEN UP A CASE TO INVESTIGATE FOR SUCH RARE INCIDENT AND SINCE TOYOTA FACTORY TECH OFF FOR THE HOLIDAY, NOT UNTIL COMING MONDAY THEY WILL LOOK AT THIS. I STILL HAVING TINGLING FEELING AT LEFT SIDE OF MY BODY.
EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION MY CAR'S ENGINE IS BURNING EXCESSIVE AMOUNTS OF OIL. WHILE I'VE HAD THE PROBLEM FOR YEARS, IT IS GETTING SIGNIFICANTLY WORSE AND I HAVE BEEN ADDING OIL MULTIPLE TIMES BETWEEN MY SCHEDULED SERVICES. SINCE I AM AWARE OF THE ISSUE I'VE BEEN DILIGENT ABOUT CHECKING MY LEVELS, BUT I FOUND OUT IT WAS AN ISSUE WHEN MY CAR TURNED OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING (I WAS LUCKY TO HAVE BEEN IN A PARKING LOT AT THE TIME).

COMPUTER PROBLEMS CAUSING ALL THE LIGHTS TO COME ON THE DASHBOARD AND DISABLING THE SHIFTING SOLENOID. IT ALSO DISABLES THE SAFETY BRAKING AND FOUR WHEEL DRIVE. THIS CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO BE UNSAFE.
