BOTH REAR STABILIZER BAR CONNECTOR LINKS SNAPPED OFF TOWARD THE BOTTOM OF EACH LINK RIGHT ABOVE THE THREADED PORTION INDICATING THAT IS A WEAK AREA. THIS WAS NOT DUE TO RUSTING, THE LINKS JUST SNAPPED OFF IN THE SAME LOCATION. I WORKED FOR ANOTHER DEALERSHIP IN THE SAME DEALER GROUP AS A SERVICE MANAGER AND THE STAFF THERE TOLD ME THAT THIS IS A PRODUCT PROBLEM AND THEY HAD REPLACED AT LEAST 55 PAIR OF THESE LINKS. I CALLED TOYOTA CUSTOMER SERVICE TO REQUEST A GOODWILL REPAIR AUTHORIZATION AND THE FIRST QUESTION THEY ASKED ME WAS IF I HAD THE VEHICLE SERVICED AT THE DEALERSHIP. I SAID NO BECAUSE AS A FORMER TECHNICIAN, I DO ALL MY OWN VEHICLE MAINTENANCE. THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT HELP BECAUSE OF THAT. THIS INVOLVES A KNOWN PRODUCT PROBLEM THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TAKEN CARE OF THRU WHAT ALL MANUFACTURERS CALL "HIDDEN WARRANTY" IF I HAD ALLOWED THE DEALER TO SERVICE THE VEHICLE. THIS IS DISCRIMINATORY AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF MORE IMPORTANTLY BECAUSE IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE AFFECTING THE SUSPENSION AND VEHICLE HANDLING. I NOTICED THE PROBLEM LAST FALL WHEN THE VEHICLE STARTING MAKING A CLUNKING NOISE IN THE REAR AND HANDLED SLOPPY IN THE REAR SUSPENSION. YOU HAVE HAD A NUMBER OF OTHER REPORTS AS WELL ON THIS SPECIFIC PROBLEM.
I RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTICE IN OCTOBER. I CALLED IMMEDIATELY FOR AN APPOINTMENT AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE THE PARTS. IN JANUARY, THEY STILL DIDN'T HAVE THE PARTS AND SO I CALLED ANOTHER DEALER IN THE AREA - SAME THING, "PARTS ARE ON BACK ORDER." THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT RECALL - THE 2ND ONE THEY HAVE ISSUED AND IT IS 4 MONTHS NOW WITH NO SIGN OF BEING ABLE TO GET IT FIXED. CAN'T WAIT FOR MY WHEELS TO FALL OFF!!

MIRACLE TOYOTA DEALER CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REMEDY DUE TO THERE BEING 1,000 PARTS ON BACKORDER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 TOYOTA RAV4. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY, THE AIR BAG INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE DISPLAYED "AIR BAG NOT ON". THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 90,000.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN THE PARTS WOULD BE AVAILABLE. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. I WAS COASTING UP TO A RED LIGHT AT AN INTERSECTION. I WAS GOING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH WHEN I APPLIED THE BRAKES. WHEN I APPLIED THE BRAKES I HEARD THE ENGINE ROAR AND I WAS PROPELLED INTO THE INTERSECTION. I CONTINUED TO APPLY THE BRAKES BUT THE CAR WAS NOT STOPPING. I SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL AND THE CAR STOPPED. THREE DAYS LATER I WAS PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY (THE CAR IN PARK) AND I WENT TO START THE CAR. MY FOOT WAS ON THE BRAKE AND I PUSHED THE START BUTTON. THE CAR IMMEDIATELY STARTED AND THE ENGINE RACED TO 4000 RPM PLUS. WHEN I TOOK MY FOOT OFF THE BRAKE THE RPM IMMEDIATELY DROPPED TO A NORMAL RPM. THE CAR WAS TAKEN TO THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP AND WAS THERE TWO DAYS. THEY WERE UNABLE TO FIND ANYTHING WRONG.
WHEN I TOOK MY TOYOTA RAV4 IN FOR A TIRE ALIGNMENT, I WAS TOLD BY THE TOYOTA SERVICE CENTER THAT MY REAR TIRES COULD NOT BE ADJUSTED DUE TO A RECENT RECALL WHICH EPOXIED THEM IN PLACE. THE SERVICE CENTER ALSO EXPLAINED THAT MY REAR TIRES WERE OUT OF ALIGNMENT WHICH WAS CAUSING THEM TO WEAR UNEVENLY ACROSS THE THREAD. I HAVE CONTACTED TOYOTA DIRECTLY ABOUT THIS ISSUE, BUT THEY FEEL THAT THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN DAMAGED ("PERHAPS BY A POTHOLE" - TOYOTA REP) SINCE THE RECALL WAS PERFORMED AND ARE UNWILLING TO PURSUE MY CASE. I HAD THIS RECALL PERFORMED LESS THAN A YEAR AGO, AND THE EPOXY HAS ALREADY FAILED (AND I HAVE HAD NO ACCIDENTS IN THAT TIME). I WOULD LIKE THE NHSTA TO PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS RECALL, AS I CANNOT BE THE ONLY OWNER WHO IS FACING ENORMOUS REPAIR BILLS JUST TO FIX A MANDATORY RECALL.
I WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT WHEN MY RAV4 PULLED TO OVER THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO STRIKE A TREE CAUSING 7 BROKEN RIBS AND IT TOTALED MY CAR .I SAW A RECALL THAT WAS ISSUED IN SEPTEMBER THAT THE REAR TIRE RODS CAN CAUSE YOU TO LOSE CONTROL CAUSING A CRASH RECENTLY AND I KNOW THAT WAS THE REASON FOR THIS CRASH I DRIVE THIS ROAD FREQUENTLY AND HAVE NEVER HAD AN ISSUE UNTIL AUGUST 11TH MY BOTH ARMS WERE INJURED AND MY CHEST AND SHOULDER HAD SCRAPES AND CUTS TO WHICH I BLAME ON THE MANUFACTURER, I AM STILL RECOVERING FROM MY INJURY AND ALSO BELIEVE THE AIRBAG DIDN'T DEPLOY IN TIME BECAUSE OUT OF THE 7 BROKEN RIBS MY STERNUM BONE WAS BROKEN FROM THE STEERING WHEEL!!

THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO A POLE AND THE DRIVER FRONTAL AIR BAG FAILED TO DEPLOY CAUSING THE CONTACT TO FRACTURE SEVERAL RIBS. THE CONTACT ALSO WANTED TO STATED THAT NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V383000 WAS PERFORMED HOWEVER, THE REPAIR DID NOT CORRECT THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 78,000.
TAKATA RECALL, MY REAR SWERVED AS I MOVED RIGHT TO AVOID A HEAD ON COLLISION, MY CHEST HIT THE STEERING WHEEL SO HARD THAT I BROKE 6 RIBS INCLUDING MY STERNUM BECAUSE THE AIRBAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY UNTIL AFTER THE IMPACT , I ALSO SAW ANOTHER RECALL THAT WAS ANNOUNCED 2 OR 3 DAYS AFTER MY ACCIDENT WHICH RESULTED IN A TOTAL LOSS WHICH WAS THE REAR SUSPENSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE IT COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT I REPORTED THIS TO NHTSA AND WAS GIVEN A REFERENCE NUMBER10937800, PLEASE KEEP ME UPDATED THIS IS HORRIBLE THAT THESE PEOPLE KNOWINGLY PUT FAULTY PARTS ON A VEHICLE, I AM STILL AFRAID TO DRIVE I FELT MY CAR SHAKING AND BLAMED IT ON THE ROADS, THE WIND, ANYTHING BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO BELIEVE SOMEONE WOULD SELL A VEHICLE KNOWING IT WAS NOT SAFE
CAR ACCELERATED AHEAD WHILE PULLING UP TO A STOP SIGN. THE HARDER I APPLIED THE BRAKES.... THE MORE IT TRIED TO SURGE AHEAD. FINALLY GOT IT STOPPED. THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO MY WIFE TODAY. SHE WAS PARKING THE CAR AND WHEN SHE TOUCHED THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE CAR SURGED AHEAD ON HER. SHE FINALLY ALSO GOT IT STOPPED BUT IT SCARED HER. WHEN IT HAPPENS, THE BRAKE PEDAL FEELS REALLY HARD AND THE MOTOR ACCELERATES EVEN THOUGH THE BRAKE PEDAL IS BEING PUSHED AND NOT THE GAS PEDAL. I CALLED MY LOCAL DEALER AND THEY ARE GOING TO GET IT IN TOMORROW TO CHECK IT OUT.

I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FROM TOYOTA ABOUT 1 YEAR AGO AND THE PART IS STILL NOT AVAILABLE. THE NHTSA RECALL IS : 15V-577. THIS LENGTH OF TIME IS UNACCEPTABLE.
I COULDN'T FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO SEND THIS INFO. THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT. REGARDING THE WIPER, WE HAD AN INTERIM RECALL, WE WENT TO THE DEALER, THEY FIXED IT, BUT THE RECORD YOU HAVE SAYS INCOMPLETE. I JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW THAT IT HAS BEEN FIXED.IT WAS FIXED BEFORE WE EVEN HAD THE FINAL RECALL NOTICE.

VEHICLE ENGINE CAN BE SHUT OFF WITHOUT TRANSMISSION INTO "PARK" CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO ROLL AWAY WHEN ON A SLOPE/INCLINE CAUSING POTENTIAL SERIEOUS BODELY/PROPERTY DAMAGE. SUCH UNEXPECTED VEHICLE MOVEMENT DISREGARDS BASIC SAFETY PRINCIPLES: 1ST: ELIMINATE POTENTIAL HAZARD; 2ND: GUARD AGAINST HAZARDS AND 3RD: WARN AGAINST HAZARDS. UNLIKE TOYOTA, OTHER VEHICLE MAKES WITH "SMART-KEY SYSTEM" ADDRESS THIS HAZARD BY EITHER ELIMINATING, GUARDING AND/OR WARNING SAFETY PROVISIONS. VEHICLES WITH CONVENTIONAL KEY START SYTEM REQUIRE DRIVER TO SHIFT TRRANSMISSION INTO "PARK" BEFORE SHUTTING OFF THE ENGINE. FYI, I HAVE CONTACTED PEOPLE IN THE NHTSA RULEMAKING DEVISION - FMVSS NO. 114 WHO CONFIRMED THAT THIS IS A "SAFETY HAZARD" AND NUMEROUS COMPLAINS HAVE BEEN FILED BY CONSUMERS.I ALSDO CONTACTED THE LOCAL TOYTA DEALER AND TOYOTA USA CORPORATE TO FILE A COMPLAIN (#10870836) WHICH NEITHER DID RESPOND TO.

THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT THE REAR AXLE DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 55,500.
2006-2011 TOYOTA RAV4 REAR LOWER SUSPENSION ARM RECALL G0V I WENT IN TO HAVE THIS RECALL PERFORMED FOR A 3RD TIME AND WALKED OUT PAYING A BILL OF $1,585.92. THIS WAS A RESULT OF THE RECALL PUT INTO PLACE BY TOYOTA. WHAT THE RECALL DOES NOT ADDRESS IS THE ISSUE PERFORMING A REAR-END ALIGNMENT ON THE VEHICLES AFFECTED BY THIS RECALL. A REAR-END ALIGNMENT WILL NOW CONSIST OF REPLACING THE PREVIOUSLY ADJUSTABLE REAR SUSPENSION ARMS MADE NON-ADJUSTABLE DUE TO THE EPOXY APPLIED FOR THIS RECALL, ALIGNING THE REAR END AND RE-APPLYING EPOXY WITH PARTS. THE COST OF A REAR-END ALIGNMENT TO THE VEHICLE OWNER WILL NOW INCLUDE THE COST FOR REPLACING THE REAR SUSPENSION ARMS AND THE RECALL EPOXY KIT. THIS IS THE 'BAND-AID FIX" FOR THE DESIGN OR DESIGN IMPLEMENTATION FLAW IN THE REAR-END CONTROL ARM THAT TOYOTA HAS PUT IN PLACE. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. WHEN I PURCHASED THE TOYOTA RAV4, THE COST OF A REAR-END ALIGNMENT WAS A FRACTION OF THE CURRENT COST WITH THIS "BAND-AID FIX" IN PLACE. I FEEL THAT TOYOTA IS NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS DESIGN FLAW AND UNFORTUNATELY IS PASSING THE ADDED EXPENSE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. I WILL BE TRADING IN MY RAV4 AS SOON AS I CAN. I WILL NOT BE REPLACING IT WITH ANOTHER TOYOTA PRODUCT BECAUSE OF THIS EXPERIENCE. IT IS SAD TO THINK THAT THIS IS THE THIRD TRY TO REPAIR THIS ISSUE AND THIS IS THE BEST THAT TOYOTA CAN COME UP WITH, BY MAKING THE CUSTOMER PAY MORE FOR THE PLEASURE OF OWNING A SUPPOSEDLY RELIABLE AND LOW MAINTENANCE COST VEHICLE. *TR

WHILE CHANGING THE OIL, I NOTICED A LEAK FROM THE REAR AXLE. I HAD THE AXLE SEALS REPLACED AT A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP. LATER I RECEIVED A RECALL BUT THE RECALL WAS ONLY FOR A SPECIFIC NOISE NOT FOR THE FAULTY REAR AXLE SEALS.
LEFT A TOYOTA DEALERSHIP AFTER HAVING SERVICE . IT WAS RAINING OUTSIDE I HAD JUST JUMPED ON THE HIGHWAY AND MY 4 WHEEL DRIVE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND A THIRD LIGHT ALL CAME ON. I THEN DROVE TO AUTOZONE I WAS TOLD THAT I NEEDED A 02 SENSOR. BUT I HAD JUST LEFT THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS NO PROBLEMS WITH MY VEHICLE. I READ A POST ON YOUR WEBSITE AND WITH THE SAME CONCERN AND DECIDED TO ADD MY COMPLAINT. I WILL BE TAKING MY CAR BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP ON FRIDAY.
AFTER A RECALL REPAIR ON THE REAR ADJUSTMENT ARMS THE ADJUSTMENT OF WHEEL ALIGNMENT IS PREVENTED BY EPOXY RESIN APPLIED TO PREVENT RUST. IF THE WHEELS ARE NOT PROPERLY ALIGNED AT TIME OF REPAIR OR EVEN IF THE ALIGNMENT SOMEHOW CHANGES THERE IS NO WAY TO READJUST THE ALIGNMENT.I EXPERIENCED THIS AND RUINED MY TWO REAR TIRES NOT REALIZING THE ALIGNMENT COULDN'T BE ADJUSTED. NOW I AM CONFRONTED WITH A $1000 REAPIR BILLTO REINSTALL THE RECALL REPAIR ( WHICH WON'T BE ADJUSTABLE FOR ALIGNMENT) AND TWO NEW TIRES AT $235 A PIECE. IF A PERSON DIDN'T NOTICE THE WEAR ON THEIR TIRES THE RESULT WOULD BE A BLOWOUT. THIS RECALL REPAIR WILL CAUSE MORE PROBLEMS THAN IT SOLVES. NOBODY IS GOING TO OWN A CAR THAT CANNOT BE ALIGNED WITHOUT GREAT EXPENSE. IN ADDITON THE SAFETY FACTOR OF HAVING AN AUTO THAT CANNOT BE ALIGNED HAS MANY RAMIFICATIONS. THE IMAGE UPLOADED SHOWS THE TIRE AFTER 20,000 MILES ON A 60,000 MILE TIRE.
APRIL 2014: AT APPROXIMATELY 50,000 MILES, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND STABILITY CONTROLS ON DASH WHILE DRIVING. DEALER INFORMS THAT THERE IS A CHARCOAL CANISTER MALFUNCTION AND THE PART NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. DEALER PERFORMED REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT OF TOYOTA PARTS. PAID ~$900. FEBRUARY 2016: SAME LIGHTS ON DASH WHILE DRIVING. TAKE TO THE DEALER AND THE ERROR CODES INDICATE THE CHARCOAL CANISTER NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AGAIN. ESTIMATE $1020. THE PART IS NO LONGER UNDER 12-MONTH WARRANTY AS IT WAS REPLACED 20 MONTHS AGO.

A FEW DAYS AGO, I TURNED ON MY VEHICLE AND SAW THREE LIGHTS, CHECK ENGINE, ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL, AND 4WD. I TOOK MY VEHICLE INTO THE TOYOTA DEALER, WHICH DIAGNOSED MY PROBLEM AS WATER IN THE CHARCOAL CANISTER THAT IS PART OF THE EVAPORATIVE FUEL SYSTEM. PROBLEM IS THAT FUEL VAPORS CAN NOW ACCUMULATED IN AND ABOUT THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER CHECKED WITH TOYOTA TO SEE IF IT WOULD PAY FOR THE REPAIR. THEY WOULDN'T. THE TOTAL PARTS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM COST ABOUT $1000, AND THE 3 HRS' LABOR IS OVER $500. I WAS SHOCKED. BUT SHOCK TURNED TO OUTRAGE WHEN I SAW, AMONG THE PARTS, A $14 PART TO COVER THE CANISTER AND PREVENT WATER ON THE ROAD FROM CONTAMINATING AND RUINING THE REPLACEMENT CHARCOAL CANISTER. WHY DIDN'T TOYOTA INFORM ME OF THIS BEFORE? I WOULD HAVE SPENT $14 PLUS AN HR'S LABOR TO INSTALL THIS COVER TO AVOID A $1500-1600 REPAIR. I CALLED TOYOTA AND ASKED WHY THEY WOULDN'T COVER THIS REPAIR. THEY SAID BECAUSE MY CAR HAS 64,000 MILES. THIS IS ABSURD. THIS IS A MANUFACTURING/DESIGN DEFECT THAT TOYOTA SHOULD COVER, BUT TOYOTA REFUSES TO DO SO, UNLESS THEY GET MORE COMPLAINTS, ACCORDING TO THE TOYOTA REP WITH WHOM I SPOKE. SO HERE'S ONE COMPLAINT. WHAT WITH ACCELERATOR PROBLEMS, STABILIZER PROBLEMS, POWER WINDOW PROBLEMS, AND I CAN'T RECALL WHAT ELSE THEY'VE RECALLED ON THIS VEHICLE, NOW I HAVE TO ADD A CHARCOAL CANISTER THAT WASN'T ADEQUATELY PROTECTED FROM ROAD WATER AT THE TIME OF MANUFACTURE. IT'S LIKE I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE BEFORE TOYOTA WAS DONE BUILDING IT, AND THE COMPLETION OF MANUFACTURING HAS TAKEN 5+ YRS!
DEALER SAYS THAT CHARCOAL CANNISTER, WHICH IS PART OF EVAPORATIVE SYSTEM, HAS FAILED BY ALLOWING WATER TO RUIN CHARCOAL. WANTS $1500 TO REPAIR. SAYS TSB FOR THIS DOESN'T COVER MY VEHICLE DUE TO MILEAGE (WOULD BE COVERED IN CA). FUEL FUMES CAN ACCUMULATE IF THIS IS NOT REPAIRED.

DEALER UNABLE TO REMEDY RECALL WITHIN REASONABLE TIME. RECALLS #15V689, AND 15V-577
MY DRIVER SIDE SUN VISOR HANGS DOWN ABOUT 1.5 INCH FROM THE CEILING ALL THE TIME. IT DOES NOT STAY UP CLOSE TO THE TOP AT ALL AND IT BLOCKS MY VIEW. IT IS HARD TO SEE THE TRAFFIC LIGHT WITH IT HANGING DOWN SO I HAVE TO HOLD IT UP WITH ONE HAND WHILE DRIVING. I HIT MY HEAD ON IT A COUPLE OF TIMES WHILE GETTING INTO THE CAR. I CALLED TOYOTA AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THERE IS NO RECALL ON SUN VISORS FOR RAV 4. I WILL HAVE TO GET IT FIXED FROM THE DEALER WHO CHARGES APPROX. $150. I CAME ACROSS MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME PROBLEM FROM RAV4 AND CAMRY OWNERS. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS ISSUE AND IT CAN CAUSE ACCIDENTS AND HEAD INJURIES. TOYOTA HAD A RECALL ON VISORS FOR CAMRY AND NOT FOR RAV4. I AM DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED THAT TOYOTA IS NOT TAKING ANY ACTION ON THIS ISSUE.
I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY. THE TRAFFIC WAS STOP AND GO. I WAS GOING 10MPH WHEN THE TRUCK IN FRONT OF ME STOPPED. I APPLIED MY BRAKES AND NOTHING HAPPENED. I PUSHED THE BRAKES TO THE FLOOR WITH BOTH FEET AND STILL NOTHING. I HIT THE BACK OF THE TRUCK IN FRONT OF ME. NO DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK JUST MY FRONT END. I GOT OVER TO THE SHOULDER AND THE BRAKES WORKED FINE. I NOTICED THAT WHEN I WAS BRAKING MY ABS LIGHT WAS FLASHING. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP. THEY SAID THAT THEY HAD NEVER HEARD OF THAT HAPPENING. BUT WAS I AWARE OF A SERVICE RECALL ON THE SMART STOP TECHNOLOGY. I SAID NO I HAVEN'T. I WAS TOLD THAT THE "RECALL CAME OUT IN 2013" FUNNY BECAUSE MY CAR HAD BEEN TO THE DEALERSHIP IN 2014. WHY WAS IT NOT TAKEN CARE OF THEN. I HAVE READ THAT OTHERS HAVE HAD THIS SIMILAR PROBLEM AND WHERE TOLD THAT THERE IS NOTHING WRONG. RECALL NOTICE RECEIVED 6 MONTHS AGO. CONTACT TOYOTA DEALER THEN AND EVERY MONTH SINCE RECEIVING NOTICE. DEALER ADVISES STILL NO RESOLUTION FROM TOYOTA. FIX SUGGESTED SOUNDS SIMPLE WITH PLASTIC COVERS ON BELTS. PLEASE ESCALATE PRIOIRTY TO TOYOTA!!!
THE PAINT ON THE ROOF IS COMING OFF. I RESEARCHED IT ONLINE, AND OTHER WHITE RAV4 OWNERS HAVE THE EXACT ISSUE. I JUST COMMUNICATED WITH A LOCAL TOYATA DEALER AND TOYOTA SAYS IT WOULD COVER 80% OF THE REPAIR COST (PART ONLY, NOT TAX). I DON'T THINK THIS IS RIGHT. IF THIS IS THE PAINT DEFECT, WHY WOULD I HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS REPAIR?
