IGNITION COIL FAILURE - THE IGNITION COIL IN 2001 VOLKSWAGON JETTAS IS DEFECTIVE. VW KNOWS OF THIS PROBLEM AND HAVE DONE NOTHING REMEDY THIS PROBLEM. THERE ARE 4 COIL IN THE CAR AND ONLY ONE HAS GONE BAD, THAT LEAVE 3 MORE READY TO DIE. I HAVE LOST FAITH IN MY CAR SINCE I KNOW IT WILL FAIL ME SOON. VW SHOUDL BE FORCED TO RECALL THIS PART AND PLACE IT WITH A WORKING PART.
WHILE TRAVELING ON THE HIGHWAY THE VEHICLE STARTED SHAKING AND VIBRATING WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. DUE TO THE IGNITION COIL. PLEASE FILL IN ADDITIONAL INFORMATION DEALER IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. TS
PURCHASED NEW 2001 JETTA IN AUGUST OF 2000, GLS 2.0L ENGINE AND IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN BURNING/LOSING OIL. ABOUT 1 QT EVEY 1000 MILES DRIVEN. CANNOT UNDERSTAND AND OIL CONSUMPTION TEST BY VWOF A IN JULY OF 2002 SAID IT WAS NORMAL EVEN AFTER BREAKIN PERIOD. CAR CURRENTLY HAS 46,000 MILES. I AM PISSED OFF STILL AND I AM BASICALLY PUTTING A QUART OF OIL IN EVERY MONTH PLUS 2 OIL CHANGES A YEAR. THIS NORMAL OIL CONSUMTION IS COSTING A FORTUNE AND THIS WAS NEVER DISCLOSED TO ME WHEN I PURCHASED THE CAR NEW. NO MENTION OF IT IN THE SERVICE MANUAL AND VWOF A HAS A TSB OUT THERE BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A NEW ENGINE.
WHILE DRIVING, THE CLUTCH DIED. *PH AFTER BEING TOLD THE REPAIRS WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY, THE CONSUMER DID SOME RESEARCH AND DISCOVERED THERE WERE MANY COMPLAINTS OF FAULTY PRESSURE PLATES. *JB
COIL FAILED ON 2001 VW JETTA 1.8 T, AT 18400 MILES,MANUFACTUROR DEFECT,VW IS HAVING THE COIL REMANUFACTURED. DEALER SAYS PART COULD TAKE UP TO 2 MONTHS BECAUSE OF BACK ORDERS.THIS SIMPLY STATES THEY CAN'T KEEP UP WITH THE SUPPLY AND DEMAND AS SO MANY HAVE TO BE REPLACED. PART SHOULD BE RECALLED AND DEALER REPLACE ALL 4 COILS.
I OWN A 2001 JETTA 1.8T WOLFSBURG. THE CAR HAD A COIL PACK FAILURE ON NOVEMBER 28, 2002 AND AGAIN ON DECEMBER 30, 2002.
ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, WHILE DRIVING, THE CHECK ENGINE SOON LIGHT CAME ON, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO SHAKE AND THE VEHICLE HAD NO POWER. TWO OF THE FOUR IGNITION COILS HAD FAILED AND WERE REPLACED. CONSUMER FELT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE COST EFFECTIVE IF ALL FOUR IGNITION COILS WERE REPLACED. HOWEVER DEALERSHIP CLAIMED THAT WAS AGAINST COMPANY POLICY. *TT *NLM
ELECTRICAL IGNITION COIL FAILED WHILE TRAVELING IN A REMOTE AREA. TS
WHILE DRIVING IGNITION COIL FAILED CAUSING VEHICLE TO BREAK DOWN CREATING A SAFETY HAZARD. MANUFACTURER IS AWARE THAT COILS ARE DEFECTIVE BUT WILL NOT REPLACE UNTIL COMPONENT FAILS. TS
CONSUMER PUT THE VEHICLES' DEFROSTER ON , AND THE BACK WINDSHIELD IMPLODE, WITHOUT BEING HIT BY AN OBJECT OR VEHICLE BEING IN AN ACCIDENT, AND WENT INTO THE BACK SEAT. NO ONE WAS INJURED, CAUSE SEAT WAS NOT OCCUPIED AT THE TIME. PLEASE PROVIDE MORE DETAILS. TS
DEALER MECHANIC STATED THAT THE AIR PUMP RUSTED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CAR WAS GARAGED EVERY NIGHT. WARRANTY ON PART EXPIRED AT 24000 MILES I HAVE 31000.

THE VEHICLE SHUT DOWN WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING AND HESTSTATE . PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION DEALER IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. TS
I HAD A COIL PACK BURN OUT ON MY 2001 VW JETTA - IT HAS 21000 MILES. IT APPEARS TO BE A KNOWN PROBLEM AND MANY PEOPLE ARE EXPERIENCING THIS FAILURE. VW (AND AUDI) WILL ONLY REPLACE COILS WHEN THEY INDIVIDUALLY BURN OUT. VW/AUDI SHOULD RECALL AND REPLACE ALL COILS EITHER AT THE TIME OF BURN OUT OR BEFORE IT BECOMES AN ISSUE. THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM SUGGEST THAT THE COILS ARE EITHER DEFECTIVE OR THE DESIGN OF THE VEHICLE IS FAULTY. THE MANUFACTURER SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS EVEN IF THE VEHICLES WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED. TS

IGNITION COIL FAILURES ON MY 2001 JETTA GLS 1.8T. 3 COILS FAILED LEADING TO A VERY DANGEROUS DRIVING SITUATION WHERE I COULD NOT ACCELERATE OUT OF A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. VW CHANGED ONLY 3 COILS, SAYING THEY WERE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH IGNITION COILS, BUT WILL NOT CHANGE A PART UNLESS IT FAILS. THE 4TH COIL FAILED YESTERDAY, 12/17/02 AND VW IS OUT OF COILS NATIONWIDE. I SPEND QUITE A BIT OF TIME ON MANY VW AND AUDI CAR OWNER WEB-BOARDS AND THE PROBLEM IS RUNNING RAMPANT. CHECK WWW.VWVORTEX.COM, WWW.AUDIFORUMS.COM TO NAME A FEW, THEN DO A WEB-SEARCH IN ARCHIVED ITEMS IN THE AUDI FORUM OR SPECIFIC CHAT ROOMS IN THE VW FORUM. THIS PROBLEM WILL COSTS LIVES IF IT IS NOT ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY.
HAD PROBLEMS PRIOR WITH BRAKE PEDAL VIBRATING WHEN DEPRESSED SLIGHTLY AND ALSO DURING TURNS WITH LOSS OF BRAKE POWER. ABS SYSTEM REPLACED BY LOCAL DEALER. HAD AN INCIDENT AFTER REPLACEMENT. GOING DOWN A HILL AT 45 MPH WITH A RIGHT BEND, APPLIED BRAKES. SAME VIBRATION IN BRAKE PEDAL, NO BRAKING POWER AND STEERING KICKED CAR SHARPLY TO LEFT AND ENDED UP OFF THE ROAD. THEN EVERYTHING SEEMED TO WORK AGAIN BUT STILL EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS CAR GOING IN FOR MORE SERVICE YET AGAIN. DT
THE PASSENGER'S SIDE AIR BAG DEPLOYED WITHOUT IMPACT. *JB.....*AK
THE VEHICLE MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR FAILED WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO PERFORM POORLY. *NM THE CONSUMER WAS REIMBURSED FOR THE COST OF THE REPAIR. *TC *JB
THE FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM ON MY JETTA TDI WENT BAD. THE CAR HAD 35,000 MILES ON IT WHICH WAS 5,000 PAST WARRENTY. VOLKSWAGEN AGREED TO PAY PART OF THE REPAIR, BUT THE COST TO ME WAS STILL OVER $600.00. THE GLOW PLUGS AND HARNESS TO THE GLOW PLUGS HAVE ALSO BEEN REPLACED AFTER WARRENTY. I HAVE NEVER HAD SO MANY EXPENSIVE REPAIRS ON A "NEW" CAR BEFORE. NOW THE BRAKE SWITCH NEEDS REPLACED BECAUSE THE BRAKE LIGHTS WOULD NOT COME ON. REPLACEMENT SWITCH HAS PART NO. VWN 1J0945511D.
PLEASE REFER TO CASE/ODI: 8022481; RESPECTFULLY REQUEST CASE BE REEVALUATED. VW CLAIMS SMALL DING ON UNDERSIDE OF VW JETTA IS TO BLAME FOR SIDE AND SEAT AIRBAG DEPLOYMENTS. THEY ARE WRONG AND ARE TRYING TO USE THIS EXCUSE TO GET OUT OF NUMEROUS FAULTY AIRBAG DEPLOYMENTS. NO VW EXPERTS COULD ANSWER MY SPECIFIC TECHNICAL QUESTIONS. THE OWNER'S MANUAL SPECIFICALLY STATES REASONS FOR AIRBAG DEPLOYMENTS, AND THE SMALL DING ON THE UNDERSIDE OF MY VEHICLE IS A NOT A REASON; INSTEAD IT SERVES AS AN UNSUPPORTED EXCUSE. CONSUMER STATES THAT WHEN HIT AT 35MPH IN THE FRONT CENTER OF THE VEHICLE THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY CAUSING MINOR INJURIES TO THE CONSUMER. DEALER NOTIFIED TS
TIRE FLAT, HAS DEVELOPED "BUBBLES" IN SIDEWALL. RUBBER APPEARS TO BE SEPARATING FROM TIRE SIDEWALL. COULD RESULT IN A BLOWOUT. MR
CONSUMER STATES THAT WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE INTO HER DRIVE WAY SHE PROCEED TO STOP AND BRAKES FAIL.CONSUMER SAYS THAT THERE IS A RECALL OUT BUT DOES NOT INCLUDE HER VIN NUMBER.
THE CONSUMER STATES THAT WHILE DRIVING AND WITH NO WARNING, THE VEHICLE JERKED AND LOST POWER. DEALER NOTIFIED. MR THE CONSUMER STATES THAT THE VEHICLE HAS HAD SEVERAL TRANSMISSIONS REPLACED IN A YEAR-FEELS THAT THE VEHICLE IS A LEMON. SCC
THE VW JETTA 1.8 TURBO MOTOR HAS COIL-PACKS THAT CONTINUALLY FAILS. MY CAR IS 1.5 YEARS OLD AND HAS FOR THRU 4 COILPACKS. WHEN A COILPACK DIES, IT CAUSES THE CAR TO NOT REALLY RUN, ON 2-3 CYCLINDERS VS 4. . THUS LEAVING YOU STRANDED. I USED TO WORK TILL MID-NIGHT AND DRIVE 50+ MILES EACH WAY TO WORK. DUE TO COIL-PACK FAILURES I HAVE BEEN LEFT STRANDED TWICE AFTER MIDNIGHT. THIS IS VERY FUSTRATING. YOU NEVER KNOW IF YOU CAR WILL MAKE IT HOME. NOTHING LIKE BUYING A BRAND NEW CAR, AND HAVING MORE PORBLEMS THAN MY USED PREVIOUS CAR.
WINDOW REGULATOR FAILED TWICE LEAVING WINDOW STUCK IN DOWN POSITION. THIS IS CLEARLY A COMMON DEFECT IN THIS VEHICLE, ONE THAT OWNERS SHOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING OUT OF WARRANTY. I WINDOW STUCK IN THE DOWN POSITION POSES A SAFETY HAZZARD IN POOR WEATHER CONDITIONS, AND ALSO IMPACTS THE PERSONAL SAFETY OF THE VEHICLE OCCUPANTS. *AK
THERE WAS A FOUL SMELL COMING FROM INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. CONSUMER HAS HAD TO GO TO HOSPITAL BECAUSE OF A RASH DUE TO SOME KIND OF CHEMICAL THAT SHE WAS SMELLING. CONTACTED DEALER, AND DEALER COULD NOT FIND CAUSE. *AK
SOMETHING FLEW UP FROM ROAD AND HIT FUEL LINE AND CUT IT OPEN SO FUEL WAS PUMPING OUT CONTINOUSLY BELOW THE FUEL TANK. ABOUT 2 FEET OF PLASTIC FUEL LINES ARE COMPLETELY EXPOSED ON THE BOTTOM OF CAR JUST FORWARD OF FUEL TANK. THESE LINES SHOULD BE SHIELDED BELOW WITH A METAL OR HARD PLASTIC PLATE. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM HAD THE EJECTING FUEL CAUGHT FIRE.*AK
AT APPR 30,000 MY D/S REAR BRAKES LOCKED UNTIL THE PAD WAS GONE. THE VEHICLE OPERATION DID NOT CHANGE. UPON HEARING A METAL TO METAL NOISE I DROVE IMMEDIATELY TO MY DEALER. I REPLACED THE REARPAD AND DECLINED REPLACING THE ROTOR AS IT DID NOT HAVE ANY GROOVING. I HAVE NAD AN AN OCCASION WERE MY ABS DID NOT KICK IN AND ONE WERE THE ABS WAS ACTIVATED UPON REGULAR BRAKING. THIS IS VW #3 AND LAST VW FOR ME. THIS ALONG W/ HAVING AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM THAT RESULTED IN A NEW COMPUTER, NEW WIREING HARNESS AND 2 NEW SETS OF GLOW PLUGS IS UNACCEPTABLE. *AK
2ND TIME. NOW PASSENGER WINDOW. I JUST GOT THE FIRST WINDOW FIXED AFTER A MONTH AND A HALF.*AK
THESE PARTS ARE ON ALLOCATION, VW OWNERS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY ARE FACED WITH THESE FAILURES. A QUICK SEARCH OF THE WEB WILL ILLUSTRATE JUST HOW WIDESPREAD THE PROBLEM REALLY IS. NO SAFETY DEFECT LISTED. *AK
KNOWN TO BE A DEFECTIVE PART CAUSING A VERY POSSIBLE SAFTY ISSUE, WHEN WINDOW COMES CRASHING DOWN A DISTRACTION CAN CAUSE A CRASH AND BESIDES VOLKSWAGEN SHOULD FIX THESE WINDOW REGULATORS FOR FREE SINCE THEY MADE DEFECTIVE PARTS REGAURDLESS OF WARRANTY STATUS. *AK

I HAVE HAD 3 OF THE 4 WINDOW REGULATORS FAIL ON MY 2001 VW, JETTA. ONE OF WHICH FAILED WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY, WHICH POSES A DIRECT SAFETY HAZARD.*AK
THE VEHICLE SPUTTERS WHEN YOU FIRST START OUT AND AFTER SITTING FOR A WHILE AND IS STARTED UP AGAIN. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED IT FROM ON 3 SEPARATE OCCASIONS. ON THE LAST TRIP TO THE DEALERSHIP, THEY TOOK IT THE THE MANUFACTURER FOR DIAGNOSIS. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED IT WAS MY MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR. ONCE THAT WAS REPLACED MY VEHICLE STILL EXPERIENCED PROBLEMS. ON TODAY 8/30/02 I TOOK MY VEHICLE TO THE MANUFACTURER DIRECTLY AND WAS ADVISED THAT THE WIRING THAT WENT TO THE MAF SENSOR NEEDS TO BE CHANGED. ALMOST $600.00 LATER, SPARK PLUGS, FUEL FITER, AIR FILTER , O2 SENSORS, MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR AND WIRES...........THE PROBLEM IS NOT AS BAD, BUT STILL EXISTS. THE DEALER WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED IS UPSET THAT THE MANUFACTER DID THE LAST REPAIRS AND GUARANTEED THE VEHICLE WAS FIXED.........AFTER LETTING IT SIT FOR 3 HOURS TODAY, STARTING THE VEHICLE, BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY....AND TURNING THE WHEEL.........THE SPUTTER WAS BACK. I DO WANT TO GO BACK TO THE MANUFACTURER TO GET THE VEHICLE REPAIRED. BUT I DO NOT WANT TO PAY $75 AN HOUR LABOR FOR THEM TO CHECK THE SAME PROBLEM OVER AND OVER AGAIN, AND PRETTY MUCH JUST REPLACE VARIOUS PARTS. HAS ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS PROBLEM OR ONE SIMILAR. WHAT CAN I DO TO GET MY CAR REPAIRED AND NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR THE CHECK OUT CHARGE FOR THE SAME PROBLEM?*AK
ON JULY 31 I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AT 55 MPH AND SUDDENLY I HEARD AND EXPLOSION INSIDE MY CAR AND I ALMOST LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE BUT LUCKILY I DID NOT, THEN I REALIZED THAT THE AIR BAG LOCATED ON THE PASSENGER RIGHT ARM AND THE AIR BAG THAT PROTECTS THE RIGHT SIDE WINDOWS WHERE ACTIVATED WITH OUT A REASON. I WAS VERY UPSET AND WENT TO THE DEALER WITH MY CONCERN OF THE INCIDENT, BUT TO MY SURPRISE NOT ONLY DID I DID NOT GET ANY APOLOGIES BUT THEY PUT THE BLAME ON ME, ARGUMENTING THAT SOMETHING HIT THE UNDER HOOD OF MY CAR CLOSE TO THE PLACE WHERE THE RIGHT SIDE BAGS SENSOR IS LOCATED AND THAT THE GUARANTY DID NOT COVER IT. I THINK ITS A VERY DANGEROUS MATTER IF SOMETHING HITS UNDER THE CAR AND CAN DIPLOIDS THE AIRBAGS. I AM CERTAIN I DID NOT HIT ANYTHING ON THE FREEWAY AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. I HAVE SPOKEN TO THE DEALER OWNER AND TO COSTUMER CARE AND BOTH TELL ME THEY SUPPORT THE MECHANICS DECISION. *AK
I RECEIVED A SEVERE RIGHT FOREARM FRACTURE, REQUIRING SURGERY, FROM A DRIVER'S SIDE AIRBAG. THE ACCIDENT TOOK PLACE IN A PARKING LOT AND MY CAR WAS ALMOST STOPPED AT THE TIME. TWO FINGERS WERE ALSO BROKEN/DISLOCATED. I SPENT 3 DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL AND WILL HAVE MONTHS OF PHYSICAL THERAPY TO ENDURE. I WANT THIS ON RECORD SO IF OTHERS HAVE BEEN INJURED, THE AIRBAGS WILL BE INVESTIGATED. I AM WILLING TO SHARE X-RAYS, MEDICAL RECORDS, ETC. I CONTACTED VW AND THEY SAID SINCE I WAS HONKING THE HORN AT THE TIME OF IMPACT, IT'S BASICALLY MY FAULT. I CAN UNDERSTAND THAT IF THE BODY IS IN THE WAY WHEN THE AIRBAG DEPLOYS, INJURY MAY OCCUR, BUT SUCH A SEVERE INJURY AS A CONSEQUENCE FOR HONKING THE HORN, SEEMS EXTREME TO ME. I THINK THE AIRBAG MAY HAVE DEPLOYED TOO FAST. PLEASE COMPARE MY CASE TO OTHERS' SO OTHER VW DRIVERS WON'T HAVE TO GO THROUGH WHAT I AM RIGHT NOW. THANK YOU.*AK
THE FRONT BUMPER IS TOO LOW TO THE GROUND. WHEN PARKING, THE FRONT BUMPER PASSES OVER STANDARD CONCRETE 'TIRE STOPPERS'. WHEN REVERSING OUT OF THE STALL (EVEN AT VERY SLOW SPEEDS), THE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY DETACHES FROM THE VEHICLE. I HAVE CONTACTED VOLKSWAGEN ABOUT THIS PROBLEM. VOLKSWAGEN'S SUGGESTED SOLUTION IS "NOT TO PULL SO FAR INTO THE PARKING SPACE". UNFORTUNATELY, DUE TO THE DESIGN OF THE VEHICLE, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO TELL IF YOU ARE TOO "FAR IN" UNTIL IT IS TOO LATE AND THE DAMAGE HAS OCCURRED. I HAVE PERSONALLY OBSERVED THIS PROBLEM OCCUR ON AT LEAST FOUR OTHER JETTAS (BOTH HERE IN HONOLULU AND ON THE MAINLAND). ON OUR JETTA ALONE, THIS HAS OCCURRED ON THREE OCCASIONS. ALTHOUGH THE DEALER HAS BEEN HELPFUL IN MAKING COSMETIC REPAIRS TO THE BUMPER, COMPLETE REPLACEMENT OF THE BUMPER ASSEMBLY WOULD COST APPROXIMATELY $1,000. I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A DESIGN DEFECT WHICH THE MANUFACTURER SHOULD BE REQUIRED TO CORRECT. I AM CONCERNED THAT IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT, A PARTIALLY DETACHED BUMPER ASSEMBLY COULD BE A SAFETY HAZARD.*AK
HEARD A CLUNKING SOUND WHEN I WENT TO ROLL DOWN DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOW. WINDOW WOULD ONLY GO DOWN, NOT UP. WINDOW IS NOW ALL THE WAY DOWN INSIDE OF DOOR AND WONT ROLL UP.*JB
MY BRAKE LIGHTS WENT ON WHEN THE CAR WAS PARKED AND STAYED ON - I HAD TO HAVE IT TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO FIX THE SWITCH AND WAS OUT A CAR FOR THREE DAYS. *LA

I AM VERY FRUSTRATED WITH MY JETTA'S REPEATED WINDOW REGULATOR PROBLEMS!!*AK
MY 2001 JETTA GLX WAS DELIVERED WITH AN AIRBAG FAULT & A SCRATCHED BUMPER. THEY SAID THEY WOULD FIX BOTH. I BROUGHT MY CAR BACK THE NEXT DAY TO HAVE THE AIRBAG FAULT FIXED. THEY FIXED IT & IT OCCURED AGAIN IN 1 OR 2 DAYS. I ALSO HAD A HOSE BREAK & ALL OF THE RATIATOR FLUID LEAK OUT. THEY FIXED THAT & THE SCRATCH & THE AIRBAG FAULT. I ASKED AT THAT TIME FOR A NEW VEHICLE. THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT/WOULD NOT DO THAT. MY AIRBAG FAILED AGAIN 7/2002 & AGAIN 9/2002. I AM CURRENTLY SEEKING TO HAVE MY CAR REPLACED OR BOUGHT BACK BY THE DEALER. IT IS CURRENTLY IN THE SHOP.*AK
WINDOW REGULATOR FAILED- DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOW FELL INTO DOOR- 4 WEEKS LATER STILL WAITING TO BE FIXED. KNOWN PROBLEM- DANGEROUS- WINDOW TAPED SHUT- BUT DOES NOT REALLY CLOSE WINDOW- STILL OPEN PARTIALLY AND TONS OF WIND NOISE- VERY DISTRACTING
DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE FRONT WINDOW FALL OUT OF TRACK AND DOWN INSIDE DOOR. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO BOTH FRONT WINDOWS. VOLKSWAGEN REFUSES TO REPAIR ALL FOUR WINDOWS.*AK
BACK BRAKES WERE GRINDING AND ROTORS WERE REPLACED. DEALERSHIP MECHANIC TOLD CONSUMER THAT ROTORS WERE WARPED. *AK
