THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HARVEY CADILLAC (2600 28TH ST SE, GRAND RAPIDS, MI 49512, (616) 965-1787), BUT THE PARTS FOR THE REPAIR WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE DIAGNOSIS WAS UNAVAILABLE. I WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT ALONG WITH TWO OTHER PASSENGERS AND NONE OF THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED
I WAS IN A MINOR COLLISION. RAN INTO THE BACK OF SOMEONE. MY AIRBAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY AND MY ENGINE IMMEDIATELY CAUGHT ON FIRE AND IN A FEW MINUTES MY WHOLE CARE WAS ON FIRE AND DESTROYED. THERE WAS NO KNOWN REASON HOW OR WHY THE FIRE STARTED.

FRONT END COLLISION INTO SIDE OF 2007 CHEVY SUBURBAN AT 40-45 MPH. DRY ROAD CONDITIONS. AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY.
HIT HEAD ON BY TRUCK GOING APPROX. 45 MPH THAT SWERVED INTO MY CENTER TURN LANE. FRONT END DEMOLISHED - CAR WAS TOTALED - BUT AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. SEAT BELT DID NOT LOCK ON IMPACT. SIDE OF MY HEAD HIT DRIVER'S WINDOW OR FRAME - WAS CATAPULTED FORWARD AND CAUGHT IN SEAT BELT WHEN IT PULLED OUT ALL THE WAY, RESULTING IN HORRIFIC AND PAINFUL CHEST, ABDOMEN AND LEFT LEG INJURIES (SOFT TISSUE).
THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG LIGHT WILL TURN TO OFF WITH A PASSENGER IN THE SEAT. IT APPEARS TO OCCUR WHEN THE PASSENGER CHANGES POSITION/SHIFTS THEIR WEIGHT IN THE SEAT. THE SERVICE AIRBAG LIGHT WILL TRIGGER UNTIL THE SENSOR FINALLY RESPONDS AND TURNS THE AIRBAG BACK ON. I HAVE READ WHERE THIS IS A RECALL IN OTHER MAKE & MODELS BUT DIFFERENT YEAR. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CADILLAC SRX. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 2 MPH WHEN HE APPLIED THE BRAKES, THE VEHICLE SURGED FORWARD UNTIL CRASHING INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE CONTACT SUFFERED INJURIES AND WAS UNDERGOING PHYSICAL THERAPY FOR TREATMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR SHOP, BUT THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED FOR THE BODY DAMAGES. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON A FEW OCCASIONS PRIOR TO THE CRASH. MY NAME IS[XXX] AND I REPRESENT[XXX] AND HER FAMILY. SHE LEASED A CADILLAC SRX ON JULY 6, 2010. ON DECEMBER 4, 2010 THE SIDE AIR BAG DEPLOYED INJURING THE DRIVER WITHOUT AN ACCIDENT. THE INSURANCE DETERMINED IT WAS A MANUFACTURER DEFECT. TO DATE, THE MANUFACTURER IS REFUSING TO REPAIR. A RECALL FOR THE 2011 SRX WAS RELEASED TODAY. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CADILLAC SRX. WHILE DRIVING LESS THAN 10 MPH THE AIR BAG DEPLOYED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE DRIVER WAS HIT ON THE SHOULDER AND THE BACK OF THE NECK BY THE AIR BAG. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHO ADVISED HIM THAT THE FAILURE WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED AND THE REPAIR COST WAS $2,800. A CLAIM WAS FILED WITH THE MANUFACTURER. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 6,000.
