TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CADILLAC SRX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE HEADLIGHTS BECAME EXTREMELY DIM CAUSING THE CONTACT TO LOSE SIGHT OF THE ROAD DIVIDERS. THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO FIELDS CADILLAC JACKSONVILLE (7999 BLANDING BLVD, JACKSONVILLE, FL 32244, (904) 778-7700) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE REFLECTOR BEHIND THE HEADLIGHT BULBS FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND REPAIR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,000.*DT*JB
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE ALMOST USELESS. CAN NOT SEE ANYTHING . HAVE HAD THEM CHECKED OUT AND BEEN TOLD WAS PROBLEM EVERYONE HAS. FACTORY PROBLEM
HEAD LIGHT LOW BEAMS ARE DANGEROUSLY DIM. IT IS VERY UNSAFE TO DRIVE THIS CAR AT NIGHT. SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET KILLED OR SERIOUSLY INJURED WITH THIS ISSUE. A RECALL FOR THIS SAFETY ISSUE IS IMMEDIATELY NEEDED TO SAVE LIVES. ALREADY CAME CLOSE TO AN ACCIDENT WHEN A TRUCK PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF US, WHILE DRIVING HOME. . HE COULD NOT SEE US. PLEASE TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY AND HELP US.
WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT THE LOW BEAMS ARE VERY DIM. I HAVE TO DRIVE WITH THE HIGH BEAMS OTHER WISE I CANNOT SEE THE ROAD. OTHER DRIVERS GET UPSET BUT I CANT USE THE VEHICLE AT NIGHT. LIGHTS ARE ON BUT VERY DIM. I HAD DEALER INSPECT AND HE SAID THE FOCUSING LENS GET DESTORTED AND THE LIGHT DOESN'T GO THROUGH. COST WOLD BE OVER $1800 AND NOT PERMENANTLY FIX THE DEFECTIVE FOCUSING LENS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CADILLAC SRX. WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT, THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS WERE EXTREMELY DIM AND CREATED A VISIBILITY HAZARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO OTTO CADILLAC (1730 CENTRAL AVE, ALBANY, NY) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FAILURE WAS CAUSED BY MOISTURE IN THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY AND THE ENTIRE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
THERE IS AN EXISTING RECALL FILED ON 9/19/2014 FOR THE 2014 CADILLAC SRX FOR A "POSSIBLE LOOSE REAR SUSPENSION TOE ADJUSTER LINK" WHICH CAN CAUSE LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL AND INCREASE THE RISK OF A CRASH. THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER IS 14V571000. ON 5/21/19, I FIRST NOTICED THAT WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY, MY CAR WOULD PULL TO THE LEFT QUITE A BIT, ALMOST AS IF IT WAS BEING HIT WITH A HIGH WIND GUST. THIS HAPPENED TWO ADDITIONAL TIMES DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY THE FOLLOWING TWO DAYS. ON 5/28/19, I WAS NO LONGER ABLE TO DRIVE THE CAR IN A STRAIGHT LINE AS THE WHEEL WAS COCKED 45 DEGREES TO THE LEFT TO EVEN DRIVE STRAIGHT, THIS HAPPENED LESS THAN A MILE FROM HOME AND I MADE IT HOME SAFE. THE FOLLOWING DAY ON 5/29/19, ON THE WAY TO FIRESTONE TO HAVE THE CAR LOOKED AT, I COULD NO LONGER DRIVE OVER 25MPH AND THE LEFT FRONT AND REAR TIRES WERE COCKED OUT TO THE SIDE AND THE CAR APPEARED TO BE DRIFTING. I ALMOST WENT OFF THE ROAD.
CADILLAC SRX LOW BEAMS LIGHTS ARE EXTREMELY DIM. PROVIDES VERY LITTLE VISIBILITY AT NIGHT. IT ALMOST LOOKS LIKE THE CAR IS RUNNING ON DAY LIGHTS ONLY, EVEN THOUGH THE LOW BEAMS ARE ON. IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND NEEDS TO BE REMEDIED ASAP. I HAVE HAD THE BULBS TESTED AND THE MECHANIC SAYS THEY ARE FINE. IT IS JUST THE WAY THEY ARE PLACED IN THE VEHICLE. I AM TERRIFIED TO DRIVE AT NIGHT, BUT THIS IS MY ONLY VEHICLE AND I DO NOT HAVE THE FUNDS TO REPLACE IT RIGHT NOW.
THE 2014 CADILLAC SRX HAD 75K MILES ON THE ODOMETER, THE DRIVER EXPERIENCED A WOBBLE FEELING IN THE SUSPENSION OF THE CAR WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY THEN HEARD A BANG AND THE CAR WENT OUT OF CONTROL AT HIGH SPEEDS. THE READ END OF THE CAR VEERED TO THE RIGHT. FORTUNATELY, NO OTHER CARS WERE ON THE ROAD AS THE CAR WENT ACROSS MULTIPLE LANES WHILE OUT OF CONTROL. THE DRIVER WAS ABLE TO PULL THE CAR OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND ONSTAR WAS CALLED FOR ASSISTANCE. THE CAR WAS TAKEN TO THE NEAREST CADILLAC DEAL WHO FOUND THAT THE REAR RIGHT ADJUSTER LINKS BROKE DUE TO THE THREADS WERE WORN. FOUND THAT RECALL 14V571000 RECALL DATE 9/19/2019 COMPONENT SUSPENSION: REAR.
THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE SO DIM THAT I CANNOT SEE WITHOUT HIGH BEAMS ON. I ALMOST CRASHED ON A WINDING ROAD WHEN SWITCHING TO LOW BEAMS BECAUSE OF ON COMING TRAFFIC. I BOUGHT NEW BULBS AND STILL NO GOOD. DID NOT DRIVE AT NIGHT FOR 6 MONTHS BEFORE PURCHASING FOG LIGHTS TO ASSIST LOW BEAMS. GM SHOULD HAVE A RECALL BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE LOOSES THEIR LIFE LIKE THE REPORTED LAW SUITE IN FLORIDA.
CUE INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM TOUCH SCREEN MALFUNCTIONS CAUSING DRIVER DISTRACTION AS WELL AS DISCOMFORT . HEATING , NAVIGATION AND RADIO FUNCTIONS OPERATE ERRATICALLY WITHOUT WARNING AS IF THE SCREEN IS DETECTING A FINGER PRESSING IT AND CAN NOT BE OVERRIDDEN . THIS IS A DRIVING SAFETY ISSUE ESPECIALLY HERE IN THE MIDWEST WHERE A WEATHER ADVISORY COULD VERY WELL BE MISSED OR THE HEATING AND AIR COULD CAUSE THE WINDSHIELD TO FOG UNCONTROLLABLY.
AFTER JUST A FEW YEARS OUR 2014 SRX HAD A HEADLIGHT PROBLEM ON THE DRIVER SIDE IT WAS THEM AND VERY LOW AND WAS REPLACED BY THE DEALER LUCKILY UNDER THE WARRANTY. THE PASSENGER SIDE WAS ALSO FAILING BUT NOT AS BADLY SO IT WAS NOT REPLACED. JUST A FEW MONTHS AFTER THE WARRANTY EXPIRED THE PASSENGER SIDE ALSO IS VERY DIM AND THE CAR CANNOT BE DRIVEN AT NIGHT. THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A MAJOR PROBLEM AND GM IS NOT ADMITTING ENOUGH TO MAKE IT A RECALL. PLEASE HELP
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CADILLAC SRX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED, THE CONTACT BECAME AWARE OF A FRACTURE TO THE ELECTRONIC CONTROL PANEL. RAMEY PRINCETON CHEVROLET (135 FAIRMONT DR, PRINCETON, WV 24740, (304) 425-2134) WAS CONTACTED BY PHONE AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FRACTURE WAS NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. THE CONTACT WAS REFERRED TO THE MANUFACTURER FOR ASSISTANCE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER OFFERED TO PROVIDE A MINIMAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS INTERMITTENT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 51,248.
CAR VEERED TO THE RIGHT INTO THE GUARDRAIL THEN LOSS OF CONTROL OF STEERING, CAR SPUN AROUND TWICE AND LANDED IN OPPOSITE GUARDRAIL FACING TRAFFIC WITH LEFT REAR TIRE FACING AWAY FROM THE CAR. WE WERE DRIVING AT THE TIME ON A HIGHWAY.
My headlights are so dim, they look as though they are not even on! I cannot drive at night anymore. I was informed that there was a recall in 2019 for this issue, however I never saw one.This should indeed be a safety issue, because these headlights don’t light up sh*t. GM should be ashamed of themselves!
THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE SO DIM I ALMOST GOT HIT BY A MOTORIST THAT DID NOT SEE ME COMING DOWN THE ROAD.THIOS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES AND I CANNOT SEE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT WITH THE LOW BEAMS ON. I WAS STOPPED BY THE STATE POLICE FOR HAVING MY HIGH BEAMS ON AND TOLD THEM I COULD NOT SEE WITH MY LOW BEAMS ON. OFFICER LOOKED AT THE HEAD LIGHTS AND SAID THAT THE DEALER OF CADILLAC SHOULD REPLACE THEM WITH NEW ONES AT NO COST TO ME.THIS SHOULD HAVE A RECALL DONE WITH NEW STYLE OF HEADLAMP ASSEMBLIES
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CADILLAC SRX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE LOW BEAM HEADLAMP SEALS WERE DAMAGED AND THERE WAS MOISTURE IN THE HEADLAMP ASSEMBLIES. AS A RESULT, THE LIGHTS FAILED TO PRODUCE ADEQUATE LIGHTING. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AUTONATION CADILLAC PORT RICHEY (9921 US-19, PORT RICHEY, FL 34668, (727) 364-2818) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE HEADLAMP KIT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 9-5541370170. THE CONTACT WAS REFERRED TO NHTSA, BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT DOCUMENT REGARDING CLAIM NUMBER: 1053407. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 58,000.
THE NORMAL HEADLIGHTS AT NIGHT DO NOT PROVIDE ANY HELP. WAS TOLD THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE LIGHTS OR THE ASSEMBLY. EVERY BAD REVIEW SAYS THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM. EVERY SAFETY RATING HAS BEEN LOWERED DUE TO HEADLIGHT ISSUE. SELLING CAR AND NOT BUYING ANY MORE CADILLAC'S IF CADILLAC ISNT GOING TO HELP REPAIR THEIR KNOWN ISSUES WITH THEIR VEHICLES. YOU SPEND UPPER 5 FIGURES FOR A CAR AND GET TOLD TOO BAD. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
HEADLIGHTS DO NOT PROJECT BRIGHT ENOUGH FOR NIGHT DRIVING. THEY COME ON BUT DO NOT FUNCTION WELL ENOUGH WITHOUT TURNING ON THE BRIGHT LIGHTS.
MOISTURE GETS IN LIGHTS CAUSING LIGHT TO NOT WORK PROPERLY. LIGHT DIMNESS CAUSING LOW VISIBILITY AND CAUSE ME TO WRECK MY CAR.
I MOSTLY DRIVE MY CAR IN THE DAYLIGHT. I HAD TO DRIVE FOR A TEST/DOCTOR IN HOUSTON TEXT FROM COVINGTON, LA. MY APPOINTMENTS RAN LATE AND I HAD TO DRIVE AT NIGHT FOR 200 MILES. MY LIGHTS ARE SO LOW I COULD NOT SEE THE LINES ON THE HIGHWAY. I USED MY BRIGHT LIGHTS WHEN POSSIBLE BUT THIS WAS NOT PRACTICAL DO TO I TRAFFIC. I HAD TO REALLY ON STAYING BEHIND 18 WHEEL TRUCKS TO SEE THE ROAD TO MAKE IT HOME. I WAS SCARED TO DEATH. THE NEXT NIGHT I HAD MY DAUGHTER TAKE MY CAR OUT TO SEE IF IT WAS JUST ME BUT SHE SAID SEE COULD NOT SEE ALSO AND WAS ALSO SCARED. I NOW CAN NOT DRIVE MY CAR AT NIGHT.
THE LOW BEAMS ON MY CAR ARE VERY DIM AND I CANNOT SEE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. I HAD THE HEADLIGHTS REPLACED AND THE COVERS CLEANED THINKING THAT MAY BE AN ISSUE. AFTER RESEARCH, I SAW THAT THIS WAS AN ISSUE WITH THIS MODEL. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER AND THEY STATED IT IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY INSPITE OF SEEING MANY COMPLAINTS AND A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT AGAINST GM.
THE DISPLAY ON THE RADIO KEEPS FLICKERING AND YOU CAN SWITCH BETWEEN THE APPLICATIONS... FROM RADIO TO NAVIGATION.
THE HEADLIGHTS ON THIS 2014 CADILLAC, WITH 50,200 MILES, ARE A DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING FLAW. THE LIGHTS ON LOW BEAM, AT NIGHT, ARE DRIVING HAZARD AS THEY DO NOT LIGHT THE ROAD. THE HIGH BEAMS ARE A WORK AROUND TO CIRCUMVENT THE PROBLEM BUT SERVE ONLY AS A TEMPORARY FIX. ON-COMING TRAFFIC NEGATES ITS USE.
DIM HEADLIGHTS HAVE BECOME SO DIM THAT IT'S UNSAFE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT UNLESS HIGH BEAM LIGHTS ARE ON. CONTACTED LOCAL DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD I COULD HAVE THEM REPLACED AT MY COST.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SUNSET CADILLAC OF SARASOTA (2200 BEE RIDGE RD, SARASOTA, FL 34239, (941) 328-8686). THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO REMOVE THE ENTIRE FRONT BUMPER TO REPLACE THE SIGNAL LIGHT. THE REPAIR WOULD COST $334. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.
The contact owns a 2014 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated that the front headlights had become increasingly dim while in operation. The contact took the vehicle to a dealer to purchase replacement bulbs but was informed that the entire headlight module had to be replaced to fix the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and offered him a gift card for an oil change. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was unknown. The consumer stated the replacing the headlights was noted a recall for a limited time and feels the manufacturer should issue a refund.
HEADLIGHTS ARE GONE ON MY 2014 SRX! FADED OUT OVER TIME.GONE! I CANNOT SEE ANYTHING WITHOUT THE HI-BEAMS ON NOW. ONLY 62K MILES. PROBABLY STARTED GOING OUT WAY BACK, I DID NOT REALIZE IT WAS MY CAR, THOUGHT IT WAS MY OWN VISION WHICH IS ALREADY POOR TO BEGIN WITH. I LIVE IN THE COUNTRY SO I'M REALLY SCREWED ON THESE BACKROADS. DEALER REPLACED CUE SYSTEM UNDER WARRANTY APPROX TWO YEARS AGO OR LESS, NOW ITS GOING OUT AGAIN. MIRRORS AND SEAT AND RADIO AND CLIMATE ALL BLEEPING OUT ON ME. SERVICE MGR. NOW THE DEALERSHIP HAS BEEN SOLD AND NEW PEOPLE WON'T EVEN RETURN MY CALLS. IT'S A VERY LONG DRIVE FOR ME TO GO TO THEM AND ARGUE THIS CASE AS WE ARE STILL DEALING WITH HURRICANE MICHAEL ISSUES HERE ON OUR TOLL BRIDGES AND HIGHWAYS, WATERWAYS ETC. TRAFFIC PROBLEMS ALL OVER. HARDSHIPS ON FOLKS TRYING TO GO TO WORK.RE-ROUTINGS. BUT I ASK YOU WHO IS THE MOST LIKELY NEXT PURCHASER OF A NEW CADILLAC VEHICLE? ME, THE PERSON WHO ALREADY OWNS ONE.!!! TRADE IN FOR A NEWER MODEL? NO THANKS, THINK I'LL JUST PASS SEEMING HOW I'M A NOBODY. APPARENTLY THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR NEXT CUSTOMER, (GM CORP I'M SPEAKING TO YOU). JUST PURCHASE 2014 CADDILAC SRX. WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS HAVE INDEQUATE ILLUMINATION AND BEAM PATTERN. DIFFICULT TO CLEARLY SEE ANY OBSTRUCTIONS IN THE ROAD, PEOPLE OR CARS ON THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD WITHOUT HAVING TO HAVE THE BRIGHT LIGHTS SELECTED. NO LONG TERM FIX IDENTIFIED BY CADILLAC. ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS REPLACE THE BULBS WITH THE SAME INEFFECTIVE OEM. UNSAFE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT UNLESS ONE IS EXTREMELY CAREFUL.
CONCERN: EXTREMELY DIM HEADLIGHTS ON MY CADILLAC SRX, SO DIM AND HAZARDOUS THAT I DO NOT DRIVE AT NIGHT AND NOT IN RAIN. I HAVE SINCE LEARNED OF PENDING LAWSUITS OVER THE SAME ISSUE. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE. THIS IS SHAMEFUL OF CADILLAC - I HAVE A 4 YEAR OLD VEHICLE WITH 55K MILES THAT I CAN LONGER SAFELY DRIVE AT NIGHT. MY HIGH BEAM HEADLIGHTS STILL FUNCTION PROPERLY BUT I CANNOT DRIVE ALL THE TIME WITH MY HIGH BEAMS - IT WOULD NOT BE SAFE FOR ONCOMING TRAFFIC. CADILLAC IS DOING NOTHING TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM. THEY HAVE OFFERED A COSTLY REPAIR, BUT I HAVE BEEN CAUTIONED THAT THE REPAIR WORK WILL NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM.A TRUE REPAIR IS NEEDED AND CADILLAC NEEDS A RECALL. VERY DANGEROUS!

UNSAFE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT - THE LOW BEAMS ON THIS CAR AS SO DIM THAT YOU CANNOT DRIVE IT SAFELY AT NIGHT. CADILLAC REFUSES TO ACCEPT THERE IS AN ISSUE. MULTIPLE CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS HAVE BEEN LAUNCHED AND THIS SAME COMPLAINT IS ALL OVER THE INTERNET.I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY NHSTA HASN'T LOOKED INTO THIS PROBLEM SINCE IT PRESENTS DANGEROUS SITUATION AND AFFECTS MULTIPLE CADILLAC MODELS FRO 2010 TO 2015. PLEASE LOOK INTO THE OBVIOUS SAFETY HAZARD.
HEADLIGHTS ON LOW BEAM ARE UNSAFE AND VEHICLE CAN NOT SAFELY BE DRIVEN AT NIGHT. WE RETURNED TO DEALERS WHO REPLACED BULB AFTER ONE BLEW OUT BUT NEW BULB DID NOT HELP. AFTER RESEARCHING ON INTERNET WE HAVE LEARNED THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS YEAR MAKE AND MODEL AND HAS BEEN REPORTED BY MANY CONSUMERS ALTHOUGH THERE HAS BEEN NO EFFORT BY MANUFACTURER TO CORRECT. VERY UNSAFE.
CONCERN: EXTREMELY DIM HEADLIGHTS ON OUR CADILLAC SRX, SO DIM AND HAZARDOUS THAT WE CHOOSE TO NOT DRIVE AT NIGHT AND NEVER IN RAIN. WE HAVE REPLACED THE BULBS WITH STRONG NEW BULBS FROM SYLVANIA (GOLD SERIES) HOWEVER THERE IS NO IMPROVEMENT. WE HAVE BEEN TO CADILLAC DEALERSHIP, THEY WANT TO CHARGE 1,900 DOLLARS TO REPLACE BOTH FAULTY HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES WITH THE SAME FAULTY HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY AND CHARGE US FOR IT. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS A BARELY 4 YR OLD CADILLAC THAT YOU CANT EVEN DRIVE AT NIGHT FOR FEAR OF SAFETY. MY CELLPHONE IS BRIGHTER THAT THE HEADLIGHTS, WE HAVE DONE THE COMPARISON. WE HAVE SINCE LEARNED OF PENDING LAWSUITS OVER THE SAME ISSUE, ACCIDENTS, ETC,...IT IS AS MUCH OF A SAFETY HAZARD AS I CAN THINK OF. A 4 YR OLD CADILLAC THAT YOU CANT DRIVE AT NIGHT DUE TO THE FAULTY, WELL DOCUMENTED DESIGN FLAWS IN THE LIGHT. RIDICULOUS. THE SRX WITHOUT QUESTION A DANGER TO DRIVE AT DUSK, DARK, OR RAIN.
HEADLIGHTS ARE VERY DIM. DEALER JUST REPLACED HEADLAMP ASSEMBLIES COSTING ME APPROXIMATELY $1,800. NO IMPROVEMENT. THE LIGHTS ARE SO DIM, MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER CANNOT DRIVE ON REMOTE HIGHWAYS DUE TO THE HEADLIGHTS NOT PROVIDING A SAFE LEVEL OF ILLUMINATION. GM NEEDS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. IT IS UBIQUITOUS AMONG SRX OWNERS. VERY UNSAFE.

MY FRONT LIGHTS HAVE CONDENSATION IN THEM THE LOW LIGHT DO NOT GET BRIGHT SO I CAN NOT DRIVE AT NITE. I'VE CHANGED THE LIGHT BULB AND THIS DOESN'T SEEM TO HELP.
HEADLIGHTS ARE VERY DIM WHEN ON LOW BEAM, IT IS A DANGER TO THE DRIVER AND OTHER VEHICLES ON THE ROAD. DUE TO THE LIGHTS BEING SO DIM YOU CAN NOT SEE ANYTHING WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT UNLESS THE LIGHTS ARE ON HIGH BEAM WHICH IS DANGEROUS FOR OTHER VEHICLES ON THE ROAD. I ALMOST HIT A DEER DUE TO THE LIGHTS BEING DIM. IT IS ALMOST LIKE NO LIGHTS ARE ON AT ALL.
THE CADILLAC CUE SYSTEM IS THE MAIN TOUCH SCREEN IN THE VEHICLE. I JUST HAD TO HAVE IT REPLACED BECAUSE THERE WAS A DEAD SPOT ON THE SCREEN. I HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED BY MY DEALERSHIP THAT THERE IS A KNOWN ISSUE AND THEY HAVE RECOMMENDED ISSUING A RECALL. I HAVE HEARD WHICH I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO CONFIRM THAT CADILLAC IS ACTUALLY SUING THE COMPANY THAT PRODUCES THE CUE PRODUCT. FRANKEL CADILLAC IN COCKEYSVILLE, MARYLAND HAS HAD TO REPLACE A COUPLE OF THESE WITHIN THE PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS. I ALSO WAS ADVISED THAT THE REPLACEMENT HAS BEEN TAKING PLACE FOR QUITE SOMETIME. I ACTUALLY HAD TO GO ON A WAITING LIST FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS TO EVEN GET ONE SINCE THEY APPEARED TO BE HIGH IN DEMAND BECAUSE OF THE NEED FOR REPLACEMENT. I HAVE CONTACTED CADILLAC CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEIR ONLY RESPONSE WAS THAT I SHOULD REACH OUT FOR ASSISTANCE THROUGH YOUR COMPANY. I HAVE NO ISSUE WITH PAYING FOR WEAR AND TEAR ON A VEHICLE BUT TO HAVE THE MAIN CONTROL SYSTEM GO DOWN WITHIN 4 YEARS AND LESS THAN 40K MILES ON MY VEHICLE. I AM NOT SURE THAT I SHOULD BE OUT OF POCKET $817.00 TO REPAIR THIS.

WAS TOLD BY THE DEALERSHIP CADILLAC KNOWS ABOUT IT BUT THERE IS NO FIX. ALSO A PROBLEM WITH THE CUE SYSTEM LOCKING UP.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CADILLAC SRX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS WERE NOT PROVIDING ADEQUATE ILLUMINATION. THE CONTACT HAD A PERSONAL MECHANIC CLEAN THE HEADLIGHT CONNECTORS, BUT IT DID NOT CORRECT THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HERITAGE CADILLAC (7134 JONESBORO ROAD, MORROW, GA 30260, 770-872-0025) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,000.
I CAN NOT DRIVE SRX 2014 AT NIGHT DUE TO THE DIM HEADLIGHTS. I UNDERSTAND THAT CADILLAC IS AWARE THAT THE SEALS ON THE HEADLIGHT ARE DEFECTIVE BUT WILL NOT DO A RECALL ON THEM. I HAVE FILLED A CASE WITH CADILLAC AND HEARD BACK FROM 1 DEALERSHIP, STEVE FOLEY CADILLAC IN NORTHBROOK ILLINOIS, THAT THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT.
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS DO NOT WORK. FOR SEVERAL MONTHS, I HAVE BEEN FORCED TO USE HIGH BEAMS WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT. THE LACK OF LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO ME, MY PASSENGERS AND OTHER DRIVERS. DEALERSHIP HAS NO ANSWERS AND AGREES THAT THIS DEFECT IS A MAJOR HAZARD. SERVICE ADVISOR AGREED THAT A RECALL SHOULD BE MADE TO REPAIR THE LOW BEAMS AND DOES NOT UNDERSTAND WHY A RECALL HAS NOT BEEN MADE.

DANGER OF DRIVING WITH DIM HEADLIGHTS. I HAVE TO USE THE BRIGHT LIGHTS IN ORDER SEE AT NIGHT. I REPLACED THE HEADLIGHTS IT DID NOT WORK. I STILL CAN'T SEE AT NIGHT WITH THE DIM LIGHTS. VERY DANGEROUS AND VERY SCARY. I TOOK IT IN TO THE CERTIFIED GM/CADILLAC SERVICE DEPARTMENT. THEY SAID THEY COULD REPLACE IT OR $1700 AND NOT GUARANTEE THAT IT WOULDN'T HAPPEN AGAIN. MY CAR IS ONLY FOUR YEARS OLD. THIS SHOULDN'T BE HAPPENING. I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE MY CAR AT NIGHT. VERY DANGEROUS. I FEEL THIS IS A DEFAULT THAT THEY SHOULD REPLACE AT NO COST TO THE CONSUMER. AT CADILLAC ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND HE HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME IF I HAD BOUGHT THE PREMIER MODEL IT WOULD HAVE MUCH BETTER HEADLIGHTS. I KNOW THAT THE CHEAPEST CAR ON THE MARKET HAS BETTER HEADLIGHTS THAN THE CADILLAC SRX. WHEN YOU PURCHASE A CAR FOR 45,000 DOLLARS AND ARE TOLD YOU SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE 50,000 DOLLAR CAR TO GET GOOD HEADLIGHTS THAT`S INSULTING TO ME. TEXAS STATE INSPECTION IN THE PASSED TESTED HEADLIGHT LUMENS AND AIM I`LL BET THEY WOULD NOT PASS MINIMUM STANDARDS IF THE STATE STILL REQUIRED THAT TEST FOR STATE INSPECTION. NIGHT TIME DRIVING IN THE SRX IS DANGEROUS. THE NEXT FIELD REQUIRES A DATE THAT THIS HAPPENED 'ALWAYS' IS THE ANSWER BUT I WILL ENTER TODAY`S DATE SO THAT I CAN COMPLETE THIS FORM THAT PROBABLY WON`T BE READ.
