I am having issues with my transmission. When I first turn on the truck in the morning, put it in gear, and lightly accelerate the truck accelerates way too fast then cuts out the power. It is enough to throw me forward or back in my seat and it honestly is frightening. I am also having problems with the vehicle shifting incorrectly causing me to have no power or a sudden surge of power. This is usually when i have slowed down and them am trying to accelerate again. Also, When I am slowing down to stoplights, the vehicle will occasionally shift down to too low of a gear and act like i am slamming on the brakes. I have had several close calls with this truck due to this issue. Gm knows about the issue and has refused to recall the vehicles that are having these problems. They are recommending changing out the fluid multiple times at the owners costs. This has resulted in several class action lawsuits. They also have gone to the lengths of changing warranty coverage to no longer include abnormal shifting. This is not safe. This is causing accidents and they are actively covering it up. Please help the hundreds of thousands of people that are having issues. We need your help, I need your help and gm is no longer standing behind their vehicles.

The failure was most persistent when on an incline, in reverse, and during colder weather. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.
Service trailer brake system alert is going off constantly during driving the vehicle. I was not towing anything and have only ever towed something one time with this truck. The alert produces a chime and flashes the alert over the speedometer screen.
While driving, engine running - the whole electrical system including the engine just stop - totally dead including lack of power steering. Several times it was a fraction of a second, and then all systems came back on and engine resumed running. Another time, I had to coast off the road and try to steer without PS. After waiting a bit, the engine restarted. Even though you only ask for 1 date, this has happened several times. Most recent was yesterday, 5/2/2022. Before that it was March 13, 2022. Before that, I believe it was several years ago.

steering and braking stops working during low speed. AC stops working and several components flash a warning message Trailer hitch and stabilizer and engine light appears sporadically. It shows that I do not have recalls but I believe the repairs in the past were not done correctly. old software or a electrical short from an faulty part!!!!!
Currently, the AC is no functioning properly. Mechanic states that the hose leading to the compressor that's mounted towards the radiator is cracked and he can see oil from the AC system that has leaked out over time. Parts are being ordered to replace and repair so that the AC system will work properly. Improper AC function is not acceptable during the spring/summer months, and AC is needed to be able to cool the vehicle down There were no warning lamps or messages. We determined the system was low on coolant because it was not cooling properly.
The truck just shut down for no reason, then can not turn it or can not use the brakes to stop it,then will not start, then it will start in time.
The vehicle is experiencing a low speed brake failure where the brakes either pulse like ABS brakes or there is no brake at all and you have to push hard to the floor to get brakes. I have seen some reviews that say this was a recall but I did not find anything on your site and I have not received a notice.
Transmission slipping, set cruise control and it would engage for some time and then disengage without warning. I followed all maintenance requirements for the transmission like flushing the transmission at the appropriate mileage.

Slow speed braking is severely affected upon engagement, such as backing out of my driveway, or maneuvering into a parking spot. The brake pedal will pulse as if the ABS system is activating, however, upon reaching/ keeping idle speed, the brake pedal will become very rigid and the pedal is very hard to compress downward. Once the vehicle is stopped, and power is applied again with the gas pedal, normal braking is restored.
At low speed I get a hard brake pedal like low vacuum ( booster pump failure) maybe.
Service Trailer Brake light comes on continuously making it very distractive when driving no matter if you dismiss the message on the dash.
On an interstate offramp facing downhill moving at a slower speed 15mph or slower, application of brakes resulted in a brake pedal that could only be depressed about an inch (outside of normal function). Braking distance and response was drastically reduced. Decreased braking performance was experienced shortly after while reversing into a parking spot at low speed (1 mph), almost hitting a concrete wall in an underground parking garage. Vehicle is being inspected by a Chevrolet dealer Service department
At low speeds, like idle, brakes do not want to work. Very hard to press.

The service trailer brake system alarm goes off constantly while driving when trailer is not attached to vehicle. You can dismiss the warning but the alarm comes back. It’s a loud audible beeping that takes your eyes off the road.
UNKNOWN issue. For this vehicle at speeds in excess of 60 MPH the truck begins to shake. The shaking increases in violence as speed increases. This issue can be replicated without fault by a dealership or other auto-shop whenever necessary. The issue has not been specifically looked at by a dealership. There are currently no warning lights or indications. Mileage when started is 10400 +/- 50 mi.
My control panel keeps flicking the radio with phantom touches to the touch screen. It is making all sorts of gyrations, shifting over to my speed indicator screen, at times, the radio turns on by itself, very loud. I find online that many people are having similar issues with this condition. This is very distracting to the driver while driving on the highway, it should be considered a safety issue. Can you please research how many vehicles are having this issue? Thank you, [XXX] INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
The truck would take off on its own. The steering column would lock up, and the brakes would fail. The transmission is currently slipping an d these are just a few thing that are/have happened.

Appears to be a brake booster with my truck like trucks similar with this year, however my truck isn't included in the recall
When going at low speed, power braking fails, and I have almost crashed my truck several times. Also - when going at low speeds, my electronic power steering fails - it's difficult to turn and the steering wheel "kicks back" in my hands. Extremely difficult to turn. I'm very concerned that these two things will lead to a crash/accident. Please help! The approximate date listed is the last time these two issues occurred - but it occurs almost every time I drive the vehicle.
Unknown active recall that cant be fixed have contacted multiple different areas. I have three children and can not feel safe when driving them to school, sports etc.
At low speeds the vehicle does not come to a complete stop. The brakes don’t fully engage and after the pedal is compressed down the vehicle drives forward and in reverse for a few feet.
Was backing into parking place lost all brake pedal ran into another car . Lost brakes when backing trailer . This is a real problem
Back window glass shattered when shutting drivers side door. Happened on the 26th of February 2022, Illinois is still very cold in February, thankfully no passengers were in the back seat. Had to drive home very slow as not to drop glass on the highway. Found a Program Bulletin on the internet, bulletin No: 14815 from a Customer Satisfaction Program that stated this could happen due to structurally weakened glass by GM. We contacted GM and they said our Vin # was not on a recall list. We contacted our Insurance company and are waiting on a new glass to be installed. No warnings of any kind.

Lifter collapsed on highway.
Trying to park in a parking space at grocery store. Put truck in reverse to straighten up my parking job and felt like I had no power brakes. Had to really step on the brakes to get it to stop. Put the truck in drive and went forward and felt the same sensation: almost no braking. Almost had to stand on the brakes to get the truck stopped. After I turned the truck off, shopped and came back, there was no issue. I took the truck to a mechanic who could find no issue with brake pads, rotors or fluid. The same situation happened again a couple of weeks later. I checked brake fluid and there was plenty. It seems to occur at low speeds and resolves if I turn the vehicle off and let it sit for several minutes. I don't have confidence in the braking system now of my 2015 Chevy Silverado LTZ Z71. I have 103K miles on it and have regular maintenance records to include any recall notifications. I never received any recall info on braking issues.
My 2015 Silverado was started up remotely to warm up during an icy day. The truck had already been driven a few hours earlier. When I stepped in the truck I heard sizzling. About a minute later I smelled and saw smoke from the passenger rear seat area. I turned the truck off, but when stepping back in after investigating and moving it from the road the passenger side rear window broke. No warning was given for this to happen.

My truck lost brake vacuum assist on Saturday 1/29/2022, it happened 7-8 times at engine idle speed while parking. I'm a 230 lb man and had a difficult time stopping the truck. This is a known issue, I've already had a recall performed on the truck for this issue, I believe the recall is NHTSA Campaign Number 19V645000. It's my belief that there is a flaw in the vacuum pump design, Chevrolet has tried to address this issue by reprogramming the software but that hasn't solved the problem. I believe this was a effort to address the issue while avoiding financial loss for Chevrolet. This is dangerous and I'm not going to put another pump on the vehicle, it won't fix the problem because it's a design issue. GM can either fix the truck or give me a truck that will stop. This truck has been a nightmare, I could go on about loss of power steering and complete loss of electrical power (apparently these are known recall issues for the same truck design, but my specific truck doesn't fall under that recall), but for now I'd simply like the company to be held accountable for the brake issue. Please help force GM to address this issue before some else is injured. Also, this has caused me to lose control of my vehicle and hit a post in the a parking lot, this could have been a person, luckily it wasn't.
Unable to brake at low speed idle. Brakes occasionally lose power when at low speed, for example stop and go in line at a restaurant drive through, or behind a line of cars at a stop sign. Brakes become hard, maybe 1/4 “ pedal travel and very difficult to stop and avoid collision with car in front. No issue at higher speeds.
